under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Hey, next is roll call. >> Rebecca Chamblas, >> absent with notice. >> Carlos Harp >> here. >> Mary Harp >> here. >> Cindy Holder >> here. >> Mark Kimble >> here. Christa McAlpine Taylor >> absent with notice. >> Gloria Thompson >> here told me that like three times earlier. >> All right. Public comments. Public input is vital to how it's a vital part of how Madison District Public School operates. The board of education values hearing from parents, staff, and community members because these perspectives help guide the district towards achieving its mission. A period known as public comment is set aside at every board of education meeting. This time allows parents and the community members to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns about school related topics

directly with the board. Anyone wishing to speak must complete a request form and submitted to the board secretary before the meeting begins. Each speaker is allotted three minutes. Comments that follow these guidelines are accepted and considered by the board. Public comment is more than a formality is one of the ways the board gathers input to make decisions in the best interest of students. Community voices help shape policies, programs, and priorities that support student success. While board members cannot respond to comments or engage in dialogue during meetings, concerns may be referred to the appropriate administrator for followup. The board also works with district staff to ensure the community community questions and suggestions are addressed. This collaboration between the board and the public strengthens our ability to fulfill our mission to provide a rigorous curriculum that engages

every student regardless of their current academic level in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all students. Um, trust your heart. Do we have any public accounts? >> All right. Thank you. >> Right. Next up is the presentation of awards. >> Good evening. We're going to start with Madison High School and honor our seniors. on the bottom. Now, Lillian, these are some things your teachers had to say about you. Lillian is the absolute best. Always on top of her work, often ahead. She is a joy to have in the classroom. Lillian is an amazing person to have in the classroom. She models, excuse me, she models how to be a hardworking, kind classroom citizen. And Lillian has truly blossomed in the classroom over the past four years. She is hardworking and an awesome student to

have in the classroom. Lillian has worked so hard since she has come to us as a new student. Her work ethic and diligence do not go unnoticed. She brings in energy, insight, and effort every single day. We are so lucky to have her. And Lillian plans to study nursing at Oakland Community College in the fall and we wish her the best of luck. Congratulations, Lillian. Take a picture. You're welcome. >> Yes. So, um honoring our seniors. Um both Lillian and our next um awardee were able to um participate in decision day this past Friday. We are so proud of them again. Um so uh second uh awardee for character champion award is Evan Ojski. Come on up Evan. Again we have two amazing seniors tonight. Uh for Evan, some of his highlights, his strength is

found in his calm and consistent demeanor, both in the classroom and in all his extracurriculars, including athletics. He listens with intention and executes with precision. The kind of player every coach dream of dreams of and the kind of student every teacher can count on. Evan has really stepped it up. He is driven. He is focused. He is just killing it with his writing this year in English. He is a well-deserving student of the month who simply stays in his lane, does what he needs to do. We could use 200 more Evans in the building. He is kind, polite, energetic, enthusiastic, and this fall he plans to study chinesiology at Eastern Michigan. We wish him the best of luck. speech. Okay. Um and then um we are honoring um our social worker, Miss Kim, for our

Eagle staff of the month. She um wanted to be here so badly, but she wasn't able to make it. Um so she is um our May Eagle Wildcat staff of the month. Um she services students both at Wilkinson and the high school. So you have to imagine how busy she is. If you shadowed Miss Kim for the day, you'd go home completely exhausted. She meets with and supports students all day long. She has a unique ability to recognize the needs of all her students and is always offering help and advice to them. Her passion and commitment to our kids are is simply incredible. She's truly able to navigate anything that comes her way. She is genuine and relatable and someone that our Eagles and our Wildcats feel comfortable confiding in. So, she can help them

and motivate them to meet their individual goals. We are so lucky to have Kim in both of our buildings. Just do a couple more. Miss Kim is a true queen for the students and staff. She gives her whole heart and always puts school first. Uh we would be lost without you. It's been great working with Miss Kim for junior class sponsor events. She's easy to get along with and she does a great job in that role. So congrats Miss Kim wherever you are. >> Thank you. We are going to move forward with Wilkinson Middle School. Good evening. Tonight we're going to honor um students and staff of the month. I just want to say that I concur with uh Principal Collie as she talked about um our friend Kim Cardinis as she does work at

both buildings. So we honor that um together. So tonight we're here to talk about Camille Mitchell. She is our student of the month and she's not here but Mr. Prepar is prepared to speak about some things about our wonderful Camille. Hello Madison District Public Schools. As we approach the graduation season, we look back fondly on the amazing, wonderful, and timeless three years we have had with Camille Mitchell. From day one, I can still remember that young girl coming in excited to move up to middle school, full of joy, energy, and laughter. And in three years, really nothing has changed. Camille simply knows how to light up a room. She knows how to be the friend that motivates others to do their best work and be their most authentic best selves. And at no point does

this compromise the inte the at no point does that compromise the anti integrity of her academic discipline. She has recently been accepted to her dream high school in Detroit. I believe it was Renaissance. We are so excited for her. She has accomplished so much in her short 13 years and I just know we are nothing but on the edge of our seats for what she'll do in the next 30. Camille, although you are not here right now, please know I thank you every day for making my job one of the most delightful jobs in the country. Um, and for our um, character champion awards for our uh, Wildcat employee of the month, we have Miss Aane Hudson and Miss Fallon Sherman and Miss Hudson is here. So, Miss Hudson is um, our mental health therapist

coming to work with us here at Madison this year. She has been an absolute joy coming into the district and working with um our social worker and our other mental health therapists. Um just bringing a wealth of knowledge and a very calm and wonderful demeanor to our building. The kids within the first week, the kids were just all over her. And so we just really have enjoyed what she's brought of our building. just our added um greatness, if you will, um to our building and for modeling honesty and integrity um and being of strong moral character. We honor you tonight. Thank you, Miss Hudson. And continuing with our social workers, it would be Miss Sherman. Miss Sherman is not here, but again, just a joy to have in our building. Our students just are overjoyed

with her and she just brings a presence to the building. always able to help out doing each and everything that is axe and tax and those those things that are not asked just always willing to help and support our students. We thank you and I can truly say that Madison has some of the best out here to serve our students. Thank you. Make sweet. >> Yes. Good evening everybody. Uh this month we are honoring first graders and unfortunately neither of my first grade teachers could be here. Um I will read about one student who happens to be out of town and then I see my other one here. I'll allow her to come up. So the first student I want to talk about is Torren Maddox. Torren is an example of what it means to

be a hardworking and kind first grader. He truly loves learning and comes to school each day excited to grow and try new things. He puts forth his best effort in all subjects and never gives up even when something feels challenging. His determination and positive attitude help him succeed and inspire those around him. Torren is also a wonderful friend to everyone in our classroom. He is kind, respectful, and always willing to help others. He makes sure everyone feels included and valued, which helps create a positive classroom community. Torren also shows great integrity. He understands the importance of making good choices and consistently does the right thing even when no one is watching. He is honest, responsible, and sets a great example for his classmates. We're so proud of Torren and hope that he keeps up his

fantastic work. >> Now, I want to ask They to come up. I'm going to read on behalf of what Miss Boyison says about Naa. Nvea is an incredibly kind, hard-working, and curious first grade student. She has continuously shown a personal commitment to her own learning in class as well as exhibited consistent pers perseverance across all subjects. When confronted with a challenging skill, Naa doubles down and gives it many tries. She checks in with teachers if she has questions and keeps at it until she has improved or mastered the skill. While math has seemed to be her relative strength since September, her perseverance has really shown in reading where she started off the year a bit shy and nervous about her abilities, but has grown recently to be one of the highest readers and writers in

the class. Nvea's perseverance and academic grit has been evident to all who know and work with her, classmates and teachers. Keep up the great work, Naa. Never give up on your goals. Keep making us proud. This is for you. And then Mr. TR is going to take our picture. And now for my employee of the month. This week, as we celebrate and honor every teacher for teacher appreciation week, we also wanted to shine a light on one of our other essential departments, the heart of our building's daily nourishment and kindness. May 1st was school lunch hero day, and so it only feels right that we recognize the leader of the pack herself, Moren Banzo. Come on up. Moren comes in every single day ready to serve with a smile that warms the entire cafeteria. Together

with her dynamic and hardworking team, she ensures that every student receives the nourishment, encouragement, and positivity that they need to get through the day. She and her team not only provide meals, they create a whole dining experience. From posting daily menus to decorating the cafeteria with care, they make the space feel welcoming, cheerful, and full of energy. Students truly feed off of her positivity, pun intended. Moren is also incredibly flexible and dependable. Whether it's preparing items for field trips, supplying treats for special events, or jumping in to support any dietary schoolwide needs, she always goes above and beyond, and she never complains. Her willingness to help make a tremendous difference in the smooth I'm sorry, her willingness to help makes a tremendous difference in the smooth operation of our building. We are truly blessed to

have Moren and the rest of her team dishing out exactly what our students and staff need every single day. Please join us in celebrating Moren as our May Employee of the Month. Thank you. Last but not least, we have ECC. >> All right, we are going to honor two of our students from Miss Wilho's GSRP classroom. >> All right, so the first student I would like to honor is Jayanna Bulock. So Jayanna is a student who truly shines every single day. She is a kind-hearted friend who always makes sure others feel included and cared for. Whether it's inviting a classmate to play, sharing materials, or offering a helping hand, she shows us what it means to be a thoughtful and supportive member of our classroom. She is also a very helpful student. You can often

find her assisting her classmates, cleaning up without being asked, and making sure everyone is following along. She leads by example and helps make our classroom a happy and welcoming place for everyone. Not only is she kind, but she is also a hard worker. She always tries her best, stays focused, and completes her work with care. She listens and consistently does what is expected of her. We are so proud of the positive example she sets for her classmates. She reminds us all how important it is to be kind, to work hard, and to include others. All right, my second student is Annias Terry. When Annias first joined our preschool classroom, he was very quiet. It took him time to become comfortable with our classroom and routines. Over time, we have seen big big growth in Annias.

He now confidently communicates with both teachers and peers, sharing ideas, asking questions, and participating in classroom activities. He often asks his friends if they need help. Annias is a hard-working learner who comes to school each day eager and ready to learn. Most mornings, he has a smile on his face when he enters the school. Annias takes his time to complete his academic test task to the best of his ability. He never rushes through an activity. Beyond his learning, Annias is also kind, a kind and thoughtful friend. He shows care and respect for others. He often looks for ways to help out his teachers or friends in class. We are so proud of the progress Annias has made this year. He continues to grow confidence every day at school. It has been a joy to watch

Annias grow this year. Leroy, we are pleased to recognize Mr. Leroy as our employee of the month in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the ECC community. As our custodian, Mr. Leroyy's work is often what keeps our school running. But it is his character that keeps our spirits high. He consistently helps maintain a clean and welcoming welcoming environment for all staff and students and responds quickly when assistance is needed. He treats his responsibilities not just as maintenance, but as a way to care for our community. When the children see him in the hallway, they see a friend and a vital part of their school family. The students genuine excitement to see him speaks volumes about the kindness and warmth he brings to the early childhood center. His commitment and positive presence make a meaningful difference

each day and we are grateful for all he does. All right. Thank you everyone and congratulations to everyone who's recognized. We're going to go ahead and take a five minute break. Anyone who wishes to stay more than welcome. If anyone has to leave, definitely understand. We'll come back in five minutes. and Mondays and Fridays. People are married to go on a trip. I just put my no one asked my mother. You know what? I love Then the fire alarm got a small percentage. He's our boss. He's my age. >> Our office. So then they're not saying anything. I haven't I guess one of the guys doing it in a room that has zero because we had HR for a while because another company kind of So people people go to our website they're searching for

like usually it's the trade like HVAC welding that And then they'll be thinking accent. All right, it is 7:32. We're going to come back from our recess and continue on. Next up is the administration report. I printed out a copy of the save the date for the upcoming end of the school year events. We have May 14th, our senior penning. We had our May 1st sign in day, decision day, and then we have May 30th, our MHS graduation. June 3rd is the GSRP promotion ceremony. June 8th is the eighth grade promotion ceremony. June 9th is the fifth grade promotion ceremony. And June 10th is the kindergarten promotion ceremony. So, if you have time to attend, I also sent this via email in my weekly updates. Please save the date and come out and be a

part of the celebration. The second hard copy that you guys have, which is also posted on our website, um there is an Oakland County enhancement mill that is going to go on the August 4th ballot and we are trying to educate the public on what exactly an enhancement mill is. What you guys have is a flyer that's on the website as stated and we're also going to have talking session with the community to kind of have a conversation and answer any questions. Those sessions will be listed on the website, but just to give everyone a preview, we're doing two morning sessions on June 30th and July 28th from 11:00 am until 12:00 p.m. and June 2nd, June 16th, and July 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Madison District Public Schools Administration Building.

We are our goal, like I said, is to educate everyone and we are going to hopefully just get this going so we all can be informed. As well as on the website, there is a tax calculator that you guys can scan. There's a link to it to determine how this will impact your taxes. This is a millage that is being presented to every voter in Oakland County. So, in the event that it may not pass in Madison, if it passes in another and we have enough in other cities, that's in Oakland County, there's a chance that this millillage will pass. Also, um we have the youth recognition breakfast this year. I was just sent one invitation and I have to purchase tickets for the board. The breakfast is on May 12th at 7:15 a.m. I

will also send this in my reminder if you can let me know by the end of the week if you're interested in attending the Madison Heights Community Coalition Youth Recognition Breakfast on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:15 a.m. Last but not least, I am excited to say that Madison District Public Schools, our middle school and elementary school, will be f featured at the Oakland Schools Art Show. We are having an open house. Well, Oakland Schools is having an open house this Friday, May 8th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. And our students art will be displayed. And that is all I have for Oh, one more thing I want to say. Happy teacher appreciation week to all of our teachers. and thank you for all that you do. As well as Friday was principal appreciation day and

we gave our principles their flowers on Friday, but I want to give them their flowers tonight and just say thank you for your dedication and hard work. >> Thank you very much. >> Next up, consent agenda. All matters listed under the consent agenda considered to be routine in nature by the board of education and will be acted upon by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items. If any member of the board or any citizen requests discussion of an item, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will become the first item of business under the board of education action items portion of the agenda. We have the approval of minutes of the board of education for the regular meeting of April 6, 2026. approval of the April 2026 expenditures

in the amount of 1,361,9827. It is recommended the board of education approve the consent agenda as presented. >> President Harp, >> Trusty Harp, >> I make a motion that the board of education approve the consent agenda as presented. >> We have a motion. Do we have a second? I would like to offer uh an alternative motion to move the um expenditures the check register to 781. >> We have a motion to remove the check expenditures expenditures to 781. uh do we have support for that? We have support any discussion question. >> Yeah, we'll have to we'll have to do the vote. All right. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Anyone oppose say nay. No one opposes. Motion passes. The expend expenditures will be moved. We have a motion to approve the minutes of

the board of of education for the regular meeting of April 6, 2026. >> President Harp. >> Trusty Harp. I make a motion the board of education approve the um regular meeting minutes for April 6, 2026 as presented. >> We have support. All uh any discussion? Discussion. All in favor say I. >> Anyone oppose say nay? Motion passes. Right. Next item is new business. Uh item A, Oakland School ITA. Okay. >> So, the IGA has been sent out to everyone um for the last two weeks. This is a technology agreement that we partner with Oakland schools for three years. This year, the IGA res expires and it's on the agenda for new items for you guys to bring up any questions you may have. Hopefully, you guys read it before the meeting. >> Thank you for

the description. I did read it. I just didn't know where it was on this. Thank you. >> All right. Any discussion? All right. No discussions at this time. Okay. Very good. Thank you. New business. Item B, emergency purchase of the hot water tanks at MHS. >> Yeah. So, per our policy, in the event that we ever have to make an emergency per p purchase at the next board meeting, we bring it up and to see if anyone had any questions about it. Prior to making the purchase, there was two hot water tanks that went down at Madison High School to avoid closing the school. You can't have a school without hot water. We decided we reached out for two to two vendors and got two quotes. and I called every board member before actually moving

forward with the quotes and we ended up getting everything fixed. So, I'm just following policy and putting it on the agenda and letting you guys know what happened. And also to give you an update, we were able to use leftover bond funds with that. So, Plant Maran verified that we were able to use our bond funding instead of seeking funds for that purchase. >> Thank you very much. Next item of new business, the lawn service at WMS and ECC. >> I just wanted to give you guys an update. We are no longer partnering with a third party to do the lawn service at WMS and ECC. It will it is brought back to local 14 68, our custodial union. >> Thank you. Right. Bold business. Item A, the board goals. Rebecca, our trusty campus was

leading this one. Um, did anyone on the board want to speak to the board goals or have any comments on it at this time? Nothing from from the board. I would definitely encourage the board to read through the board goals um when we're able to I would like us to review them and take action on what the plan for the goals are. We can't just have the goals and not be doing anything with them. So keep that in mind for the next meeting. Next item of business, old business, first grade move into ECC. Any updates on that? >> We met with teachers, our first grade teacher teachers at MEES and they created a list of like pros and cons and we're following up with the meeting with them in two weeks to go over that

list and just hear their input as well. >> Thank you, >> Mr. President. I know um that was one of the things we had discussed in our finance meeting. I just wanted um Superintendent Perry to clarify the only um funds that are going to be needed for this change if I understand correctly is just transportation of materials. There's no upgrades to the building that need to be done. So this is going to be at a minor expense. Correct. There were already three classrooms over there set up with smartboards. All we need to do is move the teachers um materials and also pay them for the time for packing their materials. >> Thank you. >> Would also like to ask uh everyone who is speaking, please do bring the mics down. I'm a little hard of

hearing and with the obvious rain going on right now, I definitely could use a little help. So, please uh remember to bring the mics down. >> Appreciate that. Uh old business. Uh before we get into the old business, >> we are in old business. >> I'm sorry. Uh >> electrical bus. >> Correction. Old business. We're starting with old business. Um, next item C, the electric bus purchase. >> So, I sent you guys the contract that we received from Hulkshire, which is already a pre- bidding company. At the next meeting, we are having an architect present to you guys, who was recommended by our attorney, Joe Urban, who's going to lead the work for the build out of the charging stations as well as the busing um depot behind the high school. Thank you. Was there

any board comments on that? Any board discussion? Thank you. All right. Board of Education action items. So, we have 7 A being 7 A1 being the expenditures. open school. >> We move this to 781, not 78. Okay, >> I think the A1. >> Okay, >> we'll go into order of what it says. We did 781, so we'll do it like that. All right. Correction. So, we're going to go to 7A being the adoption of Oakland School Board Resolution in accordance with Michigan School Code section 380.62 4 parentheses 2. Oakland school is required to present its general fund budget to each of the 28 local school districts within Oakland County by May 1st of each year. This proposed fiscal year 2026 2027 budget has been distributed electronically to district leadership including board members and business officials.

Additionally, three hard copies have been been provided to each district via internal delivery. It is recommended the board of education acknowledge receipt of the Oakland fiscal Oakland schools fiscal year 2026 2027 proposed general fund budget is further recommended the board support the Oakland schools budget resolution. >> President Harp. >> Yes. Trustee Park. I make a motion that the board of education acknowledge receipt of the Oakland schools fiscal year 2026 2027 proposed general fund budget and the board support the Oakland schools budget resolution. >> Thank you. Do we have support? >> We have support. Any discussion? No discussion. All in favor say I. >> I. Anyone oppose say nay. The eyes have it. The motion carries. All right. Now on to 7 A1. The expenditures. >> President Trusty Holder. >> I will make the motion so

that we can have discussion. I move the approval of the AP April 2026 expenditures in the amount of 1,361,9827. We have a motion. Do we have support? We have support. Any discussion, >> Mr. President? >> Trusty Holder. >> Um, the reason I wanted to to bring this out is I know that we had all received requests and then phone calls for a four bills that should have been paid for renewals. and at the last minute um we were asked to essentially vote and approve um these checks. That's not standard protocol. That not what should have happened and um we need to be more careful. Those kind of things cannot continue to happen here. Um, it is not uh appropriate nor I believe it's a a OMA violation to ask us to approve costs and and

funds without a meeting. We could have had a special meeting and done it quote unquote legally. So, I just want to say I know that the money's already been spent. I see it in the check register. Um, it should have been caught. Renewals should be on a calendar. This is the first time in almost 30 years I've been on a board that this has happened. So, um, while I understand the money's already been spent, I am not going to um, thank you. >> Thank you. >> Yes. >> Unfortunately, our director of food service was on a medical leave and we did not get the renewal. So that that's why it came late. >> Still inappropriate. >> Any other discussion? >> Mr. President, I'll just say otherwise should have known that was coming. We can't blame

one person out on sick leave. Um, I definitely understand the reason uh that it was sick leave. It wasn't a normal circumstance. Um, is there anything that we can put in place to help to alleviate this from happening again? >> Maybe give her an assistant so if anything happens again, I mean, I don't know what to tell you. I can't keep track of every renewal. We do have a document where we have renewals that comes up. So, we have a document where for fiscal year 27 that we have all the renewals for like major purchases over $10,000, but this renewal was $250 per building and they were going to charge us an extra $200. So, it wasn't like this was a $250,000 renewal. I don't know, Cat, do you? Our director of food service is

here. if she wants to give us a little background on the renewal, she can give you more of that. This >> speak in the mic. I'm sorry. Can you speak in the mic? I'm sorry. >> This is This is not about you. >> He's asking about the renewal process and she's explaining it. I'm just saying it needed to be on a calendar and >> trusty trusty I have a question. So, >> go ahead. >> Just to reiterate, it's basically the the date and timing isn't consistent. You won't know until they let you know that. I mean, through that with Kimble. >> Uh, these licenses, are they through the county or the state? because they send out notices three months in advance when you're in the renewal period. Sorry. I I just want to say we're

not we're not blaming you personally. It's it's more about the the unfortunate process of what happened. I just want to reiterate that. Okay. violation of the open shouldn't be done. >> Trustee, >> did you have a question? >> No. >> Okay. I ju I just wanted to say when you're on uh medical leave, you should not be responsible to be giving this stuff to me. We need to have a better system so if you're out someone's doing your work because and look I understand we >> need I just had knee surgery. I get it. Um but even our finance department needs to have this on their calendar to look for. But because you're out doesn't mean you should be working from home. But that's no, you can't take on the responsibility. And and like I

said, this this isn't about fault. It's about we have to do this better, >> but someone else maybe should have. I understand your position. And and like I said, I'm really not trying to point the finger. What I am saying is we have to do this better. I know it says the dates cuz I looked and it you signed it May 1st and the paperwork says 228. I just want to be clear as to yeah why I'm saying got to do better. Thank you, >> Trusty Thompson. I just want to reiterate that calling all of the board members and asking for this type of vote is a violation of the open meetings act and we try our best to follow that because we are nitpicked about it all the time on social media. So you

know it would have been better if we' just called a quick meeting >> when you called them. I do want to be clear. I just called to ask could we mail it out. I didn't ask you guys to vote on anything. And in the future, if we had a credit card, we probably could have paid it via credit card or I could have paid it with or Cat could have paid it with a credit card and we got reimbured. But moving forward, um I will make sure I not call. But this is not the first practice when President Holder was in place. I will call her and she will say, "Hey, let me call and talk to everyone." So I don't want it to seem like that I am the only one violating this. But

previous president when President Holder was in place, I will call her and she'll say, "Hold on, let me call everybody and that's how it works." So this time, >> how exactly would that have happened? >> I would have to look it up, but I'll definitely make sure I look it up. But moving forward, I will make sure I not call >> and send it to all of us, please. >> Thank you. >> I would just like to wrap this one up by saying that um Miss Perry, let's look into the process and see how we can improve this going forward. I I want this to be because emergencies happen, life happens, we understand, but let's find a better process. >> Ask one more question. So, in the event that there's an emergency purchase, I just

email you guys. I don't call you because I don't want to call and violate the opens meetings act. So, when I purchased the hot water take, should I have not called everybody to inform you guys? >> That's the proper way to do it. You emailed everyone asking for consensus. >> Thank you everyone. That concludes the discussion. Um uh sorry, brain freeze. It happens. >> 781. >> We do a roll call vote. >> Yeah, let's do a roll call vote for this one for 781. the approval of the expendit expenditures in the amount of 1,361,988 $9827. >> Carlos Harp, >> yes. >> Mary Harp, >> yes. >> Cindy Holder, >> no. >> Mark Kimble, >> yes. >> Gloria Thompson, >> yes. Next up is committee reports. Uh government relations. Um actually unfortunately due to work uh scheduling I'm not able to make those meetings but I did receive the the meeting minutes. So I will be sending that out to the board members so they can review uh what

is happening. So as a board we might need to decide if anyone else can cover uh that committee. All right. Um, anyone from Parks and Recreation Committee? >> I believe it's Yeah, Rebecca, >> she's HREC also. >> So, no updates on parks and wreck. No updates at this time from uh HRC HREC report uh finance committee. >> That would be um we did discuss our revenues and our expenditures at the last meeting and Ebony gave us some sheets. Uh we went over Actually, it was kind of a quick meeting. Ebony had a lot there for us and it was very clear and concise and so it it just went quickly. Do you guys have anything else to add? she she did still maintain, you know, how much we have left for the monies that uh

I've never seen whatever work was done before. It was never submitted to me. So, I couldn't share that with everyone else. >> Maybe there should be some kind of a process like you put it on a calendar so that you don't forget so when we come to these meetings you're prepared. >> Can I add one thing

about that? So, you guys do have your bylaws. The last time we had the first read was February 2nd. and that whole conversation about Mary Kennedy, she hasn't been here for two years. So, you guys did present to me and we presented to the board on February 2nd the overview of all the drafts that you guys did when you met with the previous Miola representative. You guys asked me to table it because there was two issues. The word was harassment was an issue and the other word was the board payment. So, you guys have your bylaws. Mary Kennedy has nothing to do with this. It was presented to you guys on several occasions. I came back and gave you guys the legal advice about the word harassment. We just never followed through with following up

on the second read. All I'm saying is this, and maybe we're both saying the same thing differently. Whatever changes that Trustee Chamblas said were submitted, and we're talking about quite a while ago, just never move forward. So, I'm talking about whatever was supposed to have been submitted two years ago, no one ever saw. So, we have a group. Let's just re relook at Excuse me. Do you have a question? Is there a question down there? end of the day, we're the boss. >> Thank you, >> please. Let's be polite for everyone. >> Well, it can go both ways. >> You want to keep talking? We're on tape. Go right ahead. >> No problem. Anyway, >> everyone please please let's keep this simple. Everyone was Yes. My reply didn't mean to get off topic is that

we review all of them because whatever the process was got broken. Yes, we have had some brought to us by Superintendent Perry. We did not review all of them. >> So that was my recommendation. So, it sounds like the board needs to >> discuss this one again and see where we are and what we're going to do going forward. >> Thank you, >> Trusty. >> I did send an invitation out to everybody >> to give me dates so I can set them up with Miola and I haven't gotten anything back. >> All right. So, the board needs to revisit this one. >> Yes. >> All right. Thank you. All right. Next item. building usage. Any updates on that this >> any updates?
