This is my first, so please don't no spitballs don't throw anything at me. But um uh first and foremost, thank you for the consideration of part one. uh that will allow us from a project administration to move into our next phase contracts and and get the ball rolling with some of our some of our partners that we'll bring on board for the project. Um I am pleased this evening to present um two parts part one part two of bid pack 14 of the mechanical project. Um, we have four packages um that weren't quite ready uh in part one for part one submission uh due to just our due diligence of vetting out contractors, making sure we had scope, um having conversations with them and so forth. Um with that said, um part two for consideration

are four trade packages. Um they are masonry, bear with me one second. uh masonry, architectural trades, electrical, excuse me, five, electrical, security, and testing and balancing. Um, summary of I understand you probably have the information I'm referring to in front of you. Uh, masonry DC Buyers 529,000, Pontiac Ceiling, and petition 290,000 and some change. Great Lakes Electrical 318 and some change. peopledriven technology 362. Um and then our our testing and balancing which is airflow testing of Lincoln Park 275. I would like to point out that um several of the packages we did not make the recommendation of the low bidder uh for certain reasons. Um one in particular the the masonry for example uh the low bidder during our due diligence we determined he did not have all the scope. He had the pricing, but

when you added up his pricing, he was not the low bidder. Our second bidder was actually the low bidder with with some math exercise um simply following instructions of how to present his numbers. Um could have been could have been a different story. Um and the other three packages um we the low bidder actually rescended uh due to not having all the scope included in their number as well. So with that um again collective with part one I don't have the total sum but again both part one part two fall in range of what our budget is for particular project and then um secondly I'd like to before I take any questions the technology package structured cabling um we are again presenting for recommendation division 27 for a total of 278,976. Um they are also

the second low bidder. the uh the first or the low bidder at the time of bid um did not again through our due diligence we called out some references um they did not get the the best reference we'll put it from a neighboring district um so it was best for this district south Redford um to take the low second low bid in this particular case um and then I would like to point and it's in the summary Um there's no page numbers, but the cabling um structural cabling bid uh is subject to um application for -ate credit. Um that will take place in the future. Don't have that value at this point in time. Um so again with with that we certainly um uh thank you for the opportunity to present both uh part two

of bidpack 14 uh and then the structure cabling for the technology package for the project as well and I'll take any questions happy to and thank you to Kyra and TMP and PBA and and our partners in the district um for their efforts bringing all this to uh to fruition with with meetings and dialogue and all that all that goes into it. >> Um so, uh Chris, so the cabling, >> it wasn't a low bid concern. It was a reference of them that work not being up to >> it was performance based. That's correct. Okay. >> Okay. >> That was what I was thinking. >> Okay. >> Thank you. Thank you for asking. >> All right. Anyone else? >> The chair? >> Yes. >> I have questions about our security and the upgrades that are

coming, but it's not really anything that we can discuss at the table. So, I'm not sure when or how we would even go about talking about stuff like that. if that would be in a closed session or just on the side with key like how do we get those kinds of questions answered? >> Yeah, I mean certainly depending upon the topic uh if you want to connect with me and then we can go from there. >> Okay. >> Um I'd be happy to field what I can and if we need to engage other parties too. >> Okay. >> Certainly. Yeah. Absolutely. >> Thank you. But I hope they came through. >> I wrote that down so I can remind Jason. Okay. >> Um, you talked about 112, so I guess we're now on 14. >>

Yeah. Thank you. >> Have a great Thanksgiving. >> Next item on the agenda is comments from the audience. >> We have no kids. We have >> Hi, good evening everybody. It's good to see everybody [cough] looking good and everything. Good to see you and thank you also. It's it's really amazing that you came in to share that. I know I got too many. [laughter] >> I have to read this disclaimer. [laughter] >> Okay. Comments from the audience. When addressing the board, please state your name, address, and affiliation. The board welcomes comments from the public and values the input our stakeholders bring to the table. The president respectfully reminds all of us this is not a forum for debate. The board may choose to ask clarifying questions regarding an expressed concern but will not respond to

the concern at the meeting. You can expect a timely response from the appropriate individual. Personal matters cannot and will not be discussed in this forum. You have 30 seconds. You have three. You have officially have three minutes. You have three. >> My name is Kathy. I'm president of Software Foundation. to those who don't know me. Um, today, uh, I am here just to I would like to just say this. I don't know if it's going to take me too much, but I'm going to try. So, I want to dissect the the mission statement of the foundation a little bit because um, I think it's a little bit of misunderstanding and let me just read this to you. The mission statement of the South Reorder Foundation is to provide innovative resources. Let's stop right there. Resources.

Uh resources. Not only um does that mean that we just give out scholarships and things of that nature? Let's resources mean we also help out the community, you know, with meaning our children in our community and the families. Okay. So there's going to be things with the foundation that you might not seen before that it used to be cuz time brings about a change for everything. That's something that you're going to see um with us. I'll move on to this. And then it says, "Resources that enhance the instruction of learning for all staff, students of South Redford schools through fundraising and awarding grants, scholarships to provide innovative, substantial, and enriching in experiences. I just want to you don't have to answer me now. I know you don't ask me now, but I'm going to talk

about this just a little bit. um when we when as a foundation um provide the scholarships and things of that nature um it also means that we also help out. So to us um helping the community when this when the government shut down we promised to provide meals and to give out meals and it was supposed to be done on Sunday but that didn't happen. Um JC's had promised us the room for from 2:00 to 5:00 and then they changed it from [clears throat] to Monday from 2:00 to 5:00. Well, that caused the interference with people being able to help us. And then it um the food that was going to be donated to us that was promised to us that also fell through. And that only it fell through maybe four maybe um it

was I want to say 8 hours prior to when we were supposed to back box that up. That bother I want to share this with you. It kind of bothered me. um as as I got it kind of bothered me to not be able to do that um due to pro promises. So with that being said, moving forward um our board members that are on the foundation, we're asking that you attend our meetings. We're not going to have one in December, but we will have one in January. And I come uh so humbly asking that both of our board members, our vote one that's the voting board member and also the non- voting member um so that we can bring about that change so we don't have to depend moving forward on emergency things and

we can have something in play for emergencies. I just want to say that and with that I will my clock is over with so you can talk to me about that later. Um, and that's really what I want to say. And happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Um, I'm sorry if I show you. [laughter] >> I just want to say so much. >> Happy Thanksgiving. >> Next item on the agenda is post Delta plan for improvement. Mr. Bob, are you taking that? is pain. [laughter] >> Oh, >> well, I want to say this. Thank you so much. Welcome back. >> Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. >> Um, processes to help the board's work this evening. >> Okay. Are there any Well, I think Brian did a a good job on um his presentation. Thank you,

Brian. And opportunities for improvement. What processes would help the board's work in the future? Wow. And none. How about that? >> Is there enough? >> Okay. If there's nothing further, it comes before this board. I adjourn the meeting at >> 7:30. >> 7:13.
