He's got a minute. Hallelujah. will now call this meeting to order. Please join me in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the stands one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Our first item is the approval of our consent agend. We have a motion to And I do believe Congratulations to all participants. >> Our next item is the approval of tonight's agenda. Do we have a motion >> carries? Our next item is our superintends appreciation open High school graduation high school is the extracurricular schedule. So negotiated agreement that need it. Yeah, they were uh you know last year we had 33 graduates in Southwest and so principal good lms but I She's thinking about some of the flooring possibly. I'm not quite sure, but she

can make it happen. So, it'll probably stage I don't know. to our business topics. Our first goals President solutions framework proud to present that the work of our staff and our students and families goals very We have different agencies that come from the community and they talk about not only families in our community but also certainly relations with our students and it's just been exciting to hear how improvement I system and when you look at data like this really spotlight. So that's exciting just to hear that reduction in suspension reduction in office so well administrators. So just preventative effort even more so our our system our framework for doing this is continuing honing in on that process of identifying students linguising and even where you notice throughout the smart goals where we 100% of those

goals. And an example of this in secondary school was that a goal was for classes to improve upon a specific skill of disrupting the classroom. Only three of the four were successful in meeting that goal. And so they kept the same goal. They found out what was effective in those three classes and tried to really target students. They needed further support and four classes were successful and the three that met that goal month were progressive so I think that's a lot of times but that's not the case and students so goals 64% of 26 and we're really phasing out the implementation stage of solutions really want to thank your support Dr. Mr. Mrs. forward understand not only minimize those disruptive behaviors but support our academic correlation between connected and so our work is paying the

div for us to be able to move past that implementation stage. So what you're going to see next year as we advance from the communication facilitation of our framework is that authentic empowerment of those on our teams and really what we're planning for later this month in fact is for schools to highlight the work that they've been doing but also understand this this uh end of the school year that we're intentional steps towards implementing facilitating behavior behavior but how can we take a two-prong approach so we have that systematic approach that's sustainable being proactive but also ensuring that we're not allowing the 99% of students to be disrupted by the 1% that are not expects to disrupt those while meeting of that one because success for all students all students are our students. So it's

really important to understand that it's a two approach. We're going to continue our system intentional efforts to develop a tier three menu if you will not only needs So excited about that. And finally, we've been working with some agencies as I mentioned through that treatment program, but there's other agencies as we've always region where it's exciting to see our partnership have such a profound impact on our families. One example is healthy transition program which is a partnership between Dickson public schools and Sanford Clinic where uh students between the ages of 16 and 25 pipeline we're working on how can we make sure that we have that foundation of mental health so that as possible making not just being so institutionalized with our students and we started this off years ago and the first year it's

always around that 60ish students even today where there's about 16 youth between the 16 and 25 enth students. Two years later, less than 20% of the students are enrolled in this program. And that just goes to say that we're doing some work and the community is still meeting their goals through program. And that's just been exciting to see how inter agency collaboration services is making the community and helping support our so that >> any question is our leadership team that will Elementary representative department representative still certainly want that behavior compership team at this point social behaviors who has theertise provide indepth intervention so you're looking at counselors How's it systematic social? >> Yeah. So leadership teams might teams. We're looking at leadership teams at least once a month. Intervention teams at least once every two
