Now for our first performance of the day, we would like to welcome Liliana Borgis and Charles Morris to sing Butterfly Fly Away. Want me to hold it? Okay. Mhm. You tuck me in, turned out the lights, kept me safe and sound at night. Little girls depend on things like that. You brushed my teeth and combed my hair. Had to drive me everywhere. You
were always there when I looked back. You had to do it all alone. Make a living and make a home. Must have been as hard as it could be. And when I couldn't sleep at night, scared things wouldn't turn out right, you would hold my hand and sing to me. Caterpillar in the tree, how you wonder who you'll be. Can't go far, but you can always dream. Wish you may and wish you might. Don't you worry. Hold on tight. Promise you there will come a day. Butterfly fly away. You've got your wings now. You can't stay. Take those dreams and make them all come true. Butterfly, fly away. You've been waiting for this day all along. You know just what to do. butterfly, fly away. butterfly, fly away. Thank you so much Liliana and Charles

Walk with me, Suzy Lee, through the park and by the tree. We can rest up on the ground and look at all the bugs we found. Safely walk to school without a sound. safely walk to school without a sound. Here we are, no one else. We walk to school all by ourselves. There's dirt on our uniforms from chasing all the ants and worms. We clean up and now it's time to learn. We clean up
and now it's time to learn. numbers, letters, learn to spell, nouns and books and show and tell. Playtime. We will throw the ball back to class through the hall. Teacher marks our height against the wall. Teacher marks our height against the wall. We don't notice any time pass. We don't notice anything. We sit side by side in every class. Teacher thinks that I sound funny, but she likes the way you sing. Tonight I'll dream while I'm in bed. And silly thoughts run through my head of the bugs and alphabet. When I wake tomorrow, I'll bed. You and I will walk together again. I can tell that we are going to be friends. Yes, I can tell that we are going to be friends. >> Amazing job, guys. Thank you, Miranda Lotus. And for our final
performance of the night, please welcome the sopranos and altos of the vocal ensemble to sing Landslide. Let's go. I love and I climbed a mountain and I turned around. And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills when the landlide brought me down. Oh mirror in the sky, what is love? Can I rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tide? Can I handle the seasons of my life? Well, I've been afraid of changing cuz I've built my life around you. But time makes you bolder. Even children get older. And I'm getting older, too. Oh, I'm getting older, too. Well, I' been afraid of changing cuz I've children get older. I'm getting older, too. Oh, I'm getting older, too. Oh, take it down. Climb a mountain and you turn around. And if you
see my reflection in the snow covered hills when the landside brought me down my reflection in the snow covered hills will land bring it down. Thank you guys for that amazing performance. And now for the presentation of awards, please welcome Miss Morse. for our fir to present our first award. I'm going to call up Mr. James Tus. Thank you very much and congratulations to the class of 26 and to your families. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, students with disabilities and cognitive challenges didn't go to the public schools. They went to state school, Great Bay School, Crotchet Mountain, and here in Exod, we had a school called the Rockingham School for Special Children. Gene Tus was the principal of that school. It was on Lincoln Street. Same time, she was serving on the exit school
board for 23 years. 1973, Title Nine became the law of the land and the Rockingham school closed and all students went to the public schools. So she turned her focus to her schoolboard activities. She went on to become president of the New Hampshire School Board Association and president of the National School Board Assoc Association. 1980 she became assistant secretary of special education and rehabilitative services under President Reagan. 1982 she was honored to be able to give the commencement address at the Exodai graduation in Lynen Street. Following winter mom passed away and the class of 1983 created this award to recognize a member of the graduating class that gave selflessly their time and efforts to the class, to the school, and to the community. The young lady, young woman that's going to receive this award is
a young woman my mom would have enjoyed knowing. She uh demonstrates all those attributes particularly in the unified program and in Special Olympics. I'm very pleased to pres present the Gene TUS award to Caroline Norman. Next, Mr. Provost will present the Student Senate Legacy Awards. Good morning. We began giving out this award in 2017 when the first cohort of senate members who wrote our charter and applied for national certification graduated. We wanted to honor those students who made a four-year commitment to service through our student senate. Not necessarily as elected officials, though many of the honores of this award over the years have been elected all four years, but as dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly on behalf of their class. Uh these are some of the my favorite words that I get to read all
year. They were written uh by those founding members and so it's my pleasure to read them to you. The most common attribute among the people being honored today is that they have all chosen to be a part of something larger than themselves. They have served their class, their clubs, and their community. Often putting off their own coursework until every last streamer was strung, every can was counted, every poster was perfect. They planned events, decorated commons, organized meetings, and ran pep rallies. Distinctive among those being honored today are two of your classmates who have done all of this since the very first day they walked through the doors at EHS. Their efforts in student senate began their freshman year and spanned their entire high school career. Their attendance and participation in our projects is unparalleled. They
have presented at class meetings, traveled to conferences, shared ideas with classmates, and organized and run workshops, sat in on district-wide committees, and run subcommittees within Senate. For the last four years, they have been your face and your voice in the community. And they have built a true legacy of service at EHS. And today, we honor them with the student senate legacy award. Each year, this plaque is updated with the members of the graduating class who committed to four years of student senate leadership and in so doing met the challenges that a full participation in democracy demands. Their names are engraved on the plates of this plaque, but far more significantly, their legacies are engraved on our school and broader SAU16 community. Please join me in honoring Will Ays and Bobby Pace. Congrats. You get that.
All right. Thanks, guys. I'm going to now call up your senior class president, Charles Morris, to give the distinguished honorary class officer award. This award is given to an individual who has dedicated hundreds of hours of their time to help the class and support the government. They did this unprompted, without being elected, without being asked, and more so without looking for any thanks. Luckily, we were blessed enough to have two of these selfless individuals here today. The honorary class officer award goes to Kate Phelps and Antiggony Romano. Thank you. Next, Mr. Aaron Blae will come and present the class of 1920 Cup Award. So, before I give out this award, I want to tell you guys something. I love teaching at Xer High School and I love you guys. So for four years, you guys
have been amazing and a big part of my life, and I really appreciate everything you guys have done. And so it is my distinct pleasure to be able to give out this award. The 1920 cup is awarded to the male member of the senior class who has best combined scholarship and athletics during his time here at EHS. The young man chosen by the senior class this year is dedicated to both sports and academics. He has developed the fine attributes of cooperation, leadership, self-discipline, and enthusiasm. This is an important cup here. This year's winner is Garrett White. >> Awesome job. You did amazing job. I'm proud of you. >> Hey, hey, hey. Can I have my blue sheet back? >> Thanks. Yeah, I would ask the presenters to stop stealing my list. Um, okay. Thank you
very much. Um, I am here to present the class of 1983 award, which is a silver cup given to a senior girl who demonstrates dedicated service to her class. She was chosen by all of these students here who voted for her. Um, and in a landslide, they chose someone that I would have chosen myself. Um, she is the person who has planned a billion things for you. She is always there. She's always thinking about what's next. And it is my absolute pleasure to present this to Michaela Moiki. Congratulations, Michaela. All right. And now, Miss Claremont will present the James Tu Student Athlete Award. Good morning. I would like to present the James Tuft Student Athlete Award. These recipients embody the belief that true success is not only measured in their achievements and competition, but also by positively influencing those around them. I too love being at Exit and I feel super fortunate that your last year and my first year intersected and that we've gotten to know each other a little bit. And so it gives me great honor to present this award, the Victor
P. Soal principal's character award which is presented annually to a senior who exhibits the following characteristics honesty integrity and a strong work ethic in academic and extracurricular activities. These seniors have demonstrated exceptional achievement both academically and athletically while representing Exer High School with pride, integrity, leadership, and determination. Through their commitment in the classroom and in competition and their work within the community, they have set a standard of excellence and served as outstanding role models to their peers. We would like to
recognize Danica Karen and Andrew Allen. Coach Ball will now present the Cas Swisinski Award. Congratulations to the class of 26, their families. Hope you have a great week and a great day on Saturday. The Cass Suzinski Award for Character was established by her family in 2009 to honor the memory of their sister and aunt. Cass was a 1965 graduate of Exit High School. She had great pride and love for her school and community. And what could define Cass as a person was her total selflessness. generosity and incredible spirit for the happiness of others that drove her. The award is presented each year to a senior who has shown unusual kindness, humility, perseverance during their high school career. A candidate for this award may have demonstrated these qualities through community or school service, but mainly putting
others ahead of themselves. The individual has shown the ability to overcome adversity with determination and resolve. the individual, excuse me. Further, they have a genuine pride in exit to high school and respect for fellow students. There's no application for this. It's nominated by administration and and voted on by uh faculty staff. The recipient of this year's award, most worthy, Selia Zagami. Next, Miss Nevie is going to present the Walder Barowski Principal Award. Hello again. The Walter A. a Borcowski Principal Award uh comes from the person that it's named after who was the principal at Exador High School for 16 years and this award is given in his honor. It's presented to two seniors who have had the greatest positive impact on the total high school environment. These individuals exhibit characteristics of leadership and school spirit
and have demonstrated the ability to help all students feel like an integral part of the school. This year's awards are presented to Miranda Cesler and Sha Ha. Congratulations. >> Nice job. Oh. Oh, fancy. I also have the honor to announce this year's valid Victorian and saludiatoran of the class of 2026. Liam Mcllinch, you're the saludiatoran. Please come up. And Andrew Allen, our valid Victorian. I guess I'm not getting an introduction. No, no, not you. I was part of this more, so it's all right. I'm here to give a word of advice to the class of 2027, our juniors here today. Hello, class of 2027. I'm here to give you some words of advice as you enter your final year of high school. I want to start off by saying that you've already completed the hardest
year of high school academically in my humble opinion. So, you have that you have that to look forward to. But do not take that as a sign to lose your grip. I advise you to finish strong because depending on what your path is after high school, you'll have to do a ludicrous amount of work. Uh, and that all depends on where you go. From writing college essays or finding career post-graduation. Matter of fact, you should probably get a start on that sooner than later because it will detract you from your senior year. And on that note, since senior year is really going to fly by and Miss Morris is really going to put an emphasis on the fly by in that part, I urge you to participate in as many senior activities as you can.
Spend time with your friends. Spend time with your class. Some of you have been surrounded by the same group of people for the last 12 years. And that's all going to come to an end within the next year. If you look to the left of you and if you look to the right of you, a majority of these faces you're not going to see postgraduation. So, uh, caused a stirring, didn't it? I hope you guys are all friends. I'm not sure what's going on. class 2077. But the gist is get your work done, spend time with your friends, and win the Blue Hawk Cup from the class of 2028. Now, Tig and Kate will present the senior slideshow. Thank you. >> Okay, leave. Bobby, >> I'll let you do most of the talking. >> Okay.
>> Yeah. >> Whoa. Settle down. >> Settle down, guys. I'm still here. >> Should we just start singing, Lai? >> Okay. Hello. We want to thank everyone who sent in photos. The parents, the grandparents, if you did it yourself, we really appreciate it. I love when we were making this, Tiggy, Michaela, and I, we loved looking at all the little photos of everyone when they were little kids. It so cute. Um, I just I think it's a really good reminder to see how quickly time has flown by. I feel like just yesterday was my last day of kindergarten and now I'm here. So, I think this just serves as a great reminder. Um, enjoy. Hello. I like climbed a mountain and I turned around and I saw my reflection in snow covered hills till the
land brought me down. Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I hand off seasons of my life? Well, I've been afraid of changing cuz I've built my life around you. But time makes you bolder. Even children get older and I getting older, too. You don't want Well, I've been afraid of changing cuz I've built my life around you. But time makes you bolder. Even children get older. Life getting older, too. Oh, I'm getting older, too. Ah, did my love take it down. Ah, climb a mountain and turn. And if you see my reflection in snow covered hills where the land down. And if you see my reflection in snow covered hills, well the landl bring you down.
Oh land bring him down. Grandma. America. The drink you spilled all over me. Love spit left on repeat. My mom and dad let me stay. It drives you crazy getting old. We can talk it so good. We can make it so divine. We can talk it good. How you wish it would be all the time. The drink you spill all over me. Don't repeat. Mom and dad, let me stay home and try to get it off. The drink you spill all over me. SP left on repeat. Mom and dad get this dream isn't feeling sweet. We're reeling through the midnight street and I've never felt more alone. It feels so scary getting old. We can talk it so good. We can make it so divine. We can talk it good how you wish it would
be all the time. This dream isn't feelings. We wereing through the midnight streets and I've never felt more alone. Feels so scary getting old. This dream isn't feelings. We were through the midnight streets and I've never felt more alone. Feels so scary. I want it back. I want it back. The we had the thoughts. I want the thoughts. I want it back. I want it back. The minds. It's not enough to feel alive. I want it back. I want it back. You're the only friend I need. You're the only friend I need. Show me like little kids. And laugh until our ribs get tough. That will never be enough. You're the only friend I need. You're the only sh like little kiss and laugh until our ribs get tough. Until our ribs get that will
never be enough. I will never be enough. >> Slow down. Give me just a moment. I'm so grown now in my own apartment. Cooking my own dinner. Spaghetti for one, though. I'm getting older. My life has just begun. I wish it would slow down even for a second. I'm so old now. My adolesence. Going out to parties and getting way too drunk. Think I found somebody, but don't think that it's love. I wish it would slow down. Slow down. Someday I won't be in my 20s in a new estate, maybe even married. I'll have my own children. They're tired of being young. They'll ask me about their future. I'll tell my little ones. Baby, slow down. Slow down. Slow down. The only time I got to praying for a red light when I saw your
destination as a deadline. It's just normal conversation. Baby, it's all fine. Making quiet calculations where the fall lies. It's just good to land or at least it was. It takes a strong hand and a sound mind. The college kids are getting so young, ain't they? They correcting all the grammar on a spray paint. And I even gave up driving after nightfall. I got tired of the fat boys with the brights on. It's just good to land. Or at least it was. It takes a strong hand in a sound mind. It makes me smile to know when things get hard. Ooh, you'll be far. Ooh, you'll be far from here. And while I clean up in the yard, ooh, you'll be far. Ooh, you'll be far far from here. >> So, pack up your car, put
a hand in your heart, say whatever you feel, be wherever you are. We ain't angry at you, love. You're the greatest thing we've lost. The birds still sing. Folks still fight. The porch still creek. The leaves still die. We ain't angry yet, love. We'll be waiting for you, love. And we'll all be here forever. And we'll all be here forever. overdue for a revival. Spent so long just getting by. That's the thing about survival. Love hell likes living just to die. Told me you would make a difference. I got drunk and shut you down. Won't be by your own valation. If you step foot outside this town, it's all we've had for always. So pack up your car, put a hand in your heart, say whatever you feel, be wherever you are. We ain't angry
yet, love. You're the greatest thing we've lost. Birds still sing. Folks still fight for still creep. The leaves still die. We ain't angry yet. We'll be waiting for you, love. We'll all be here forever. And we'll all be here forever. Got to go far. going to go far. Yes, you are. If you want to go far, then you got to go. Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the rest you to go. So make the best of this test and don't ask why. It's not a question but a lesson learned in time. But something unpredictable that in the end is right. I hope you had the dime of your life. So take the photographs and still frames in your mind hanging on a shelf in good health and good
time. tattoos and memories and dead skin on trial. For what it's worth, it was worth all the while. It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right. I hope you had the time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end that's right. I help you at that time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right. I hope you have the time of your life. Slow down, you crazy child. You're so ambitious for a juvenile. But then if you're so smart, tell me, why are you still so afraid? Where's the fire? What's the hurry about? You better cool it off before you burn it out. You got so much to do and only so many hours in a day. Hey, but you know that when the truth is told that
you can get what you want or you can just get old, you're going to kick off before you even get halfway through. Ooh, and will you realize Vienna waits for you? Slow down. You're doing fine. You can't be everything you want to be before your time. Although it's so romantic on the borderline tonight. Tonight. Too bad. But it's the life you lead. You're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need. Though you could see when you're wrong. You know you can't always see when you're right. You're right. You got your passion. You got your pride. But don't you know that only fools are satisfied. Dream on. But don't imagine they'll all come true. Ooh. When will you realize Vienna waits for you? Slow down, you crazy child, and take the phone off the
hook and disappear for a while. It's all right. You can't afford to lose a day or two. Ooh, when will you realize being a wait for you? And you know that when the truth is told that you can get what you want or you can just get old. You're going to kick off before you even get halfway through. Ooh, why don't you realize piano waits for you? When will you realize piano waits for you? Okay, can we have a big round of applause for Kate and Tiggy? That was so much work and you guys killed it. Okay, so I'm going to close out our ceremonies today, but first I have some directions cuz it's me. Um, audience, please hold on. I'm going to address the seniors and then we are going to play them out.
Seniors, make sure you get all your stuff before you go. And then audience stay where you are because we have a little ceremony that tradition that we're going to do with the juniors. So juniors stay put. Okay. So I have a few things to say. Oh, don't spoil it for them. Okay. So class of 2026, first of all, I would love to thank you. It has been this is the last time I get to address you all as a group and it has been my absolute pleasure to advise you this year. You are a remarkable group of young people and I know you're going to go out into the world and do great things and we are all really really proud of you. Um, I was at Hilltop. We had a great day yesterday and
everybody at Hilltop who worked there said how respectful and kind and what just what good kids you were. And all I could say was yes, that's who they are. I know you're being self-deprecating, but you actually are. Um, and so I wish you all the best in your future. Um, go out there and show them what you've got because you've got a lot of things going on for you. So with before you go here are the announcements cuz it's me and this is in lie of an email but obviously you'll also get an email. Um all right there senior tile project is done. I would like to thank our senior tile project group there. It's out there. Thank you. as you leave out in the lobby. It's on the right hand side by the library.
Check it out. Um and that's going to be hung over the summer with the rest of the senior tiles. Um the next thing there are clapouts this afternoon. If you want to participate in a class in one of your elementary school clapouts, just go. I'm going to give you this information, but it is also on the senior class website. It's the last time I tell you that, too. All right. So, Strata Memorial School, Main Street School, and Kensington, you should arrive in your caps and gowns at 1:15 at your elementary school and follow directions. And you're representing yourself in front of a bunch of elementary school kids, so watch your language. East Kingston, you are going to go at 1:30 for a 1:45 time. So be there at 1:30 and you're going to do your
your clap out. Sesy and Newfields, you guys are on f. So that's this afternoon. Sees and Newfields, you're on Friday at 1:15 and we will try to remind you during graduation rehearsal. Okay. So without further ado, Miss Ramsey is going to play you guys out. Please leave in a dignified manner, graduates. And audience, stay where you are, please. Miss Ramsey, >> you have to sign my ear. I will. I absolutely love. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. Great job. Take your trophies and go home. Singing it. Heat. Thank you. >> You're welcome. Heat. Heat.
