These skills, often forged through challenging projects and real world experiences, will prove invaluable in your future endeavors. Remember, the ability to collaborate and adapt to new situations will make you in indispensable in an ever evolving professional landscape. Today, as you stand on the threshold of a new chapter in your life, take a moment to reflect on your personal journey, acknowledge the obstacles you've you have overcome and the achievements um that have brought you to this joyous occasion. You are equipped with both technical expertise and the power to make a difference. Embrace the future with open arms with the knowledge that you have been prepared for what awaits you. Congratulations. [applause] Um, next I would like to introduce our student speaker this evening. Um, I will ask Jacob Gonzalez who is a student in the health science technologies program and he is from Sanborn Regional High School. He can come on up to the stage [applause] two pages. Thank you. Thank you
for the introduction today. I would like to give a huge thank you to Dr. Carr and Mr. Rosmick for giving me the chance to speak today. Most importantly, thank you to my friends and family for always being there for me and picking me up at my lowest points. Before I came to the SECO School of Technology, school was just something I had to drag myself through. I stayed to myself and stuck with what was comfortable. But SST changed everything. It became way more than just a school program. It became my escape. It was the one part of my day where all the stress of regular school just disappeared and I could be myself. For the first time, I wasn't just showing up because I had to. I actually wanted to be here. The best part
of it all was definitely the people. I didn't just make normal friends. I made real connections. The friendships that push you to do better, support you, and when things get tough and remind you that you're not alone. Those friends gave me the confidence to finally step out of my comfort zone. They helped me to learn to speak up, take risk, and grow into a stronger person. And through all of that, I ended up finding my passion for healthcare. Year one, I remember sitting at the desks, dealing with a ton of paperwork, memorizing medical terminology, and learning all about anatomy and how the body systems work. It was a lot of hard work, but it built a foundation. Year 2 came around and everything clicked. We finally got to do hands-on experience. Moving from the textbooks
to actually practicing skills gave me the tools that I know I can apply to a real world situation out in the healthcare field. What started out as something completely new and random turned into my actual future. It's a career where I know I can make a real difference in people's lives. SST didn't just teach me skills or facts. It gave me a place where I truly belong. People believed in me and the courage to believe in myself. And that's something I'll carry along with me after today. Congratulations, class of 2026. Thank you. [applause] >> [applause] >> Thank you, Jacob. Tonight, students will be recognized for their hard work over the past two years and will receive their SST certificates. In addition, we will honor one outstanding student from each program with our highest accolade, the

[applause] Congratulations. [applause] Ladies and gentlemen, the SECO School of Technology class of 2026. [applause] [cheering] [applause] >> [applause] [applause] >> Okay, class of 2026, we just have a couple of other things before you can go. [laughter] Congratulations. Um, I would like to take this moment to welcome our governing board member and superintendent of New Market School District, Todd Allen, with some closing remarks and then I just have a couple words after that. [applause] It is my honor to represent the SST governing board at this ceremony. For those who don't know, the SST governing board is made up of schoolboard representatives and superintendents of all of the sending schools. Um students from Eping, Exit, New Market, Raymond, Sanborn, and Winnit and a few other schools have the opportunity to come to SST and call it home.
One of the joys that we have as a board of governors is every meeting we start with having a student come in and share their stories. And over the four years that I've been involved, I think we've heard from just about every every program. And there are two themes that stand out over and over and over again. One is the passion and the excitement that the kids have for the programs that they're in and the feeling that they're doing something really important. And I think that comes out loud and clear in a ceremony like this. The other theme that comes out loud and clear is that they really believe that without SST and the kind of program offered here and the teachers that they have here, the opportunities that they have chosen would not be
available to them. So with that, on behalf of the U SST board of governors, I'd like to offer my congratulations to the class of 2026. And I would also like to congratulate all the parents and teachers in the room that helped you get here. Well done everybody. Thanks. [applause] Thank you so much, Mr. Allen. Um, I would like to end the evening by um with just a couple of words of thanks. First of all, I want to thank Churchill's Garden Center for donating all of these beautiful plants and flowers that um have decorated our stage this evening. It really makes this night even more special. So, thank you to them. And a huge thank you to all of the friends and family who have joined us for such a special evening to celebrate the incredible
accomplishments of all of our students here before us. So, congratulations to everyone. Thank you and have a great evening. Woohoo. >> [applause] >> I'm a little nervous. [music] I want to [music] heat. Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music] [music]
