Good morning SAU 16, this is Superintendent of Schools, Chris Andreozzi. And here I am with our 60 in 16 and I am with our fantastic food service directors who not only get us our daily breakfast and lunch every day, but they do amazing things this time of the year with field trips, catering, and other events that the schools need. I'm going to have them introduce themselves and tell you a little bit about what they're doing. Hi, I'm Ann Walsh. I'm the food service director for Stratham Memorial School. I've worked there for many years. One of my big focuses has been to make scratch made food as much as possible. For breakfast, I make chocolate chip muffins every Friday. They're a big hit with the kids. I make all the other muffins also. As far as
lunch, I try to do homemade meals like macaroni and cheese and pulled pork. Um but then I also insert some scratch made things into the meals when we have other food. For instance, on French toast day, I make my own home fries. They're a fan favorite. >> [laughter] >> And then on toasted cheese and tomato soup day, I make my own tomato soup. Fifth grade has assured me they're going to miss it. Um so that's pretty much what I try to do to have a good program over there. I also want to thank my help, my um incredible staff. They are they've been with me Some of them have been with me for a while. But they just really all do their own little special thing and it it's really been a great program over
there for that. Thank you. Hi, I'm Dalia Daigle and I proudly oversee the Exeter High School, Middle School, and the two Exeter elementaries. Basically living the Blue Hawk dream right now. Um I'm This year was all about my amazing staff, community connections, and working and learning with all the principals. Um most importantly, we hosted the top 10 dinner this past Thursday and we it was a great experience celebrating with the families and with the students and I'm really looking forward to next year and teaming up with our health and wellness groups for learning and growing and serving good food with good vibes. >> [laughter] >> Hello, I'm Shanna McGee. I'm the director at Swasey Central School in Brentwood. First I'd like to say thank you to Miss Courtney and Mrs. Maggie for all their support,
patience and making the students day fabulous every day. Next year we're going to be growing our own basil right in the serving line for kids to go ahead and cut and eat with their meals especially on pasta day and pizza day. Any extra basil we'll have we'll be making our own nut free pesto. We're also going to be exploring trying to grow strawberries. We're actually hoping to have enough strawberries for to serve all of our parfaits all year long. Um Thank you. Hi, I'm Sabrina Daley and I oversee Newfields Elementary lunch room. Um, I love being part of a small school. It's where I went to school so it's kind of heartwarming. I like to try to get the kids to try new foods, try new anything that they can try and I look forward
to next year. Just want to recognize that Deb Lord who oversees East Kingston and Kensington couldn't be here today but thank you for all the work that she does and thank you for all the work that you do to bring a fantastic meal program to all of our students. Thank you SAU 16 and we'll see you in a couple weeks.
