[music] >> Great feed there by >> [music] >> Man. And Greco. Exeter trying to make a goal here as this goes in. >> [music] >> Good evening and welcome to Exeter for tonight's match up, the Blue Hawks taking on the Dover Green Wave. I'm Dan Provost filling in for coach Bill Taylor tonight. The Hawks come into the game with a 4 and 1 record after a big win at home Tuesday versus Windham. Dover enters the game 2 and 3 coming off two tough losses. Tim, what are your keys to the game tonight? >> Uh you know, I got to speak to Huxley Brown before the game and the keys to victory are simple. They understand this Dover team is hungry after back-to-back losses. Exeter's got to come out hungrier and like they're the team coming
off a back-to-back losses. They have to continue to shoot with confidence like they did against Concord and Windham. And they got to limit Dover's ability to pick and choose where they get their shots from. Meaning they got to close out, they got to not allow these three double-digit scoring points per game scores for Dover to get going, especially considering they come from the guard position. >> Absolutely. Dover averages almost 69 points a game to Exeter's 60, so Dover can definitely fill up the hoop. Exeter hangs their hangs their hat on defense, of course, with the three the three big guys down low. >> Yep. And you know, Exeter Exeter's first in Division One for points per game allowed, only allowing 45.8. [applause] Dover, on the other hand, is 19th, as you said, allowing 67.2 per
game. This is going to be a great game. We're going to see how good this Exeter defense is. They've gone up against teams like Portsmouth who can score willy-nilly, and teams have struggled against this Exeter defense. They do a great job of shutting down their top scorers. >> We're going to step aside here for the national anthem for just a minute. >> [applause] >> Well, the starters have been announced. I have them for you here. For the Green Wave, we have Owen Coringham at guard, Javier Morales Perez at guard, James Bowden at forward, Michael Gorman at guard, and Lochlin Kibby at forward. For the Blue Hawks, we have Aggie Griffin at guard, Jackson McDonald, Nate Tomasi playing forward, Jack Thibodeau at center, and Huxley Brown at forward. >> You know, uh for Dover, uh I
was beginning to touch on Michael Gorman, fourth in the state leading Dover in points per game, 18.2. He can score, but he's not the only one. Morales Perez is averaging 11.6, and Coringham is averaging 10.6. These guys can score, but this extra defense we know can get some stops. So, we'll see how they take the how they choose to take these scores out of the game. >> Thibodeau wins the tip. >> You know, that was a similar kind of way they started against Windham. They tipped it almost slammed on the ground to try and get a quick little break to start the game. >> almost, right? >> Yeah. >> [cheering] >> We're starting to see that tight suffocating extra defense already. >> And there's the turnover, just like you said. Thibodeau bringing it down. He's
going to give it up to Aggie. Jackson McDonald setting up the offense up top. Swings it over to Aggie. Back to McDonald. Loses his dribble to Thibodeau down low backing down his man. Ball stripped away. Dover pushing it back the other way. >> Good quick hands there from Dover. This Exeter team does a great job of of capitalizing off turnovers. So for them to stop Exeter there that's huge. >> Mhm, absolutely. Coringham out top. Now he drives right. Thinks about it thinks better of it with the trees down low for Exeter. Dover for three. >> Great closeout defense from Tomasi there. >> Rebound Thibodeau. >> You know we saw against Windham Exeter dominate the boards 43 to 19. >> Thibodeau for three. >> Thibodeau and Tomasi are kind of the reason why but >> Great
cut by McDonald for two with the left hand finish. >> Right as I was about to give him some credit for his rebounding in last game he scores a bucket. Jackson McDonald had seven rebounds against Windham. Exeter's guards are more than willing to rebound. >> Absolutely when you get that type of guard offensive rebound play from your guards it really does a second hand second chance opportunities. >> 100%. >> [cheering] >> Here's McDonald. He's going to slow things down now. >> As Exeter sets up their offense. Swings it to Griffin. Griffin will drive euro step loses it and that's a travel. >> [applause] >> Griffith the way he plays he's so fast twitch and he's almost like backyard basketball. He does a great job of kind making the defense not know where he's going next.
Sometimes it does cost them. >> Dover three in the corner is Coringham that's short. Tomasi had a hand on it but lost it. And now Gorman from the corner. And that's a three. You're not going to want to leave him open. >> Nah, that That's right what I think Huxley was talking about. He would have liked to maybe see Exeter close out a little bit better there, but it'll get deeper in the game. They'll start to do better at that. >> J-Mac with a nice drive there, just can't get it to go. We saw Dover pressing off the made basket there. >> Yeah. >> You don't see a lot of teams press against Exeter. They're excellent at breaking that with their height and their quick guard play. >> That was a great cut from number
four there. That's uh Bowden. But, he did great job at not showing his hands too early so that he could give Huxley a hint that he was trying to get the ball. >> McDonald's three is short, chases it out of bounds, can't save it. Dover ball. >> This is right now this is starting to seem a little bit like the Exeter-Windham game. It's going to be a defensive game, and it's going to be low-scoring. We'll see how these offenses kind of settle in, but this is a game that Exeter they're likes. They like these low-scoring >> It's going gritty game. Steals. >> Steals. And there it is. Gee with the steal and the finish. >> [applause] >> And now we'll see Dover pushing the ball back the other way. That's Xavier Morellus-Perez. >> Oh, another
job. Great job. >> Just cutting in in between the passing lane there. He had it for a minute, and it just closed right down. >> Yeah, just another great job from this Exeter defense forcing turnovers. They do a great job. They did a great job against Windham. >> J-Mac with the drive again, stripped. Thought he drew some contact. But, it was out of bounds, Dover. Huxley down low. Oh, that's going to stay. >> That was a good hustle there from number 10. That's uh Michael Gorman. Good hustle, but it's going to end up giving Exeter side out. >> And here's the Geis setting up the offense up top. He's going to stop and pop the three. That's long, but he gets his own rebound. >> Oh. They say stepped out. >> Yeah, that looked like
it was going to be out of bounds off Dover. >> Yeah, I was going to say I thought that was going to be a great hustle play, but not quite. >> Cunningham will bring the ball down. Drops it off to Kibby. Kibby up top to Gorman. Gorman back to Morales Perez. >> Tough shot off the glass for Yavier Morales Perez. >> Man, what a shot. That was off one leg and the Geis did not give him any breathing room. >> Morales Perez is coming off a Yeah. >> [applause] >> Now it's going to be a timeout for coach Holmes. >> I was about to say Yavier Morales Perez coming off a uh player of the tournament from that Oyster River Holiday Classic. >> Yeah. >> Where Dover went three and oh and won that over
the holiday break. >> Yeah, you know, Dover they're they're starting to find their groove offensively. And this is something that we've talked about with Exeter. When Exeter played Concord, they found something offensively. And they've been playing with that ever since. Obviously with their win against Windham. And a lot of it is just you got to get the confidence. That Concord game was a great confidence builder for this Exeter team. Like we talked about at the beginning, they got to continue to shoot and play with that kind confidence. But Dover might have found something in that tournament. Obviously, they're coming off the back-to-back losses, but that Trinity game was only a seven-point game and they were in it. Trinity scored 82, which is a lot of points, but Dover wasn't left behind. They scored 75 themselves.
Tyler Ream checking into the game for the Blue Hawks. >> Man, the Gee's defense is amazing. >> so quick. >> His hands, too. He almost forced a turnover right by that midcourt line. >> Jackson Brock checking in for Dover. That's Morales Perez from the corner. That's a two. But another tough shot from him. >> Yeah, right now what Dover is doing is they're getting to their spots where they're comfortable scoring, where they're comfortable shooting. That's what he did right there. He got to that same mid-range point we saw him see and hit another shot earlier in the game. >> [applause] >> And we again we're going to we saw Dover pressing off the make, so we're going to look for that. Exeter will have a sideline out of bounds in front of the Dover bench.
J-Mac out top. Left-hand dribble finds Gee. Gee inside to Huxley. Huxley uses his hands inside, gets it to go and one. The emergence of Huxley Brown as a scorer this year really has been something for the Hawks. >> Yeah, you know, last year he he was a great guy. He he scored a lot last year, but obviously we had Greco and Nate McNeff. And no one kind of thought, I think you know, we thought he would improve like every player does every year. But the amount he has improved and his ability to make tough shots inside has been amazing to watch. He he is not afraid to use his size to his advantage, and that's great to see. >> Hits the free throw to complete the old fashioned three-point play. And now we have Dover
back the other way. Oh, the swarming defense for Exeter, but Morales Perez ends up with the open three and again, that's another guy you do not want to leave open. >> He's got seven already. >> Ghee loses the dribble. Gives it up to McDonald out top. McDonald drives. Pulls it up. Now we have Reem. Reem will reset out top. Crosses over. Finds J-Mac on the wing. Oh, nice cut inside by Thibodeau. He uses his strength and gets the two. >> That's Thibodeau right there using all 6'7" of himself to get that bucket. Good defense here from Reem. And that's going to go the other way. >> [applause] >> Off Austin McCauley. >> And we're going to have a burst of energy coming into the game here with number three Raymond Plant. >> Against Windham, we
saw coach Holmes do something similar to this where he kind of was quick with subs. He would give guy Sorry. He'd give guys breaks throughout the game and that kept them fresher for longer. I think he liked what he was seeing. They have a lot depth this Exeter team. >> That looked like it was off a Dover player. >> Yeah, they're kind of scrambling for the ball and the guy was still holding on to it while he was out of bounds. >> exactly. Nick Myers checking in for the Hawks as well. Reem open for three for a minute, thought about it, thought better of it, through the lane, just can't get it to go. Now have Gorman pushing it the other way. Another tough shot. He can't get it to go. Thibodeau with the rebound.
Plant pushing it back the other way. >> Dover likes their mid-range it seems. They like scoring inside. Obviously, they've hit a couple of three-pointers, but it looks like the shot they're looking for is somewhere inside. Good steal. >> It looks like Plant had Thibodeau down low. He couldn't quite get it to him, but drew the foul. >> Does a good steal there by Morales Perez, but just couldn't quite stay in bounds. It's tight right there. >> Excuse me, stepped out of bounds. You're right. Tomassi checking back in for Thibodeau. Reem to Plant. >> It's difficult stopping this Exeter offense strictly because of their size. It's tough to cut off their passing lanes. >> Gee wide open in the corner, nails the three to give Exeter the lead here with 40 seconds remaining in the first
quarter. >> Oh, the Hawks left Courtney all alone underneath. Didn't finish, but Dover cleans up the rebound. That's Ryan Herbert. >> Oh, nice. >> breaking the press. Raymond Plant down low. Great hustle play from the Hawks. >> Just a nice cut right there. >> I said it earlier, Tim. I I I don't think that pressing this Exeter team is is gives Dover a strategic advantage. That really does play into the to Exeter's strength. >> Yeah, when they use their speed, we have seen on the inbound earlier this year. We know that Portsmouth was able to kind of just get Exeter out of their offense, but I think Exeter is able to just kind of, you know, mitigate mediate that now. Now they've understood how to beat the how to beat the press and, you know,
we'll see how it goes later on cuz where we really saw Exeter start to struggle with it. >> [laughter] >> Sorry, against Portsmouth was a late game. Late game when it's a little bit more intense, we've seen them start to struggle with it. But, right now, I'm liking what I'm seeing from Exeter. >> Absolutely. That was Morales Perez there. Was that his 11th point already in the game? >> Yeah, he has nine points right now. Not 11, but he's close. He's basically He's a bucket away. He's basically at double digits already. He's the game's leading scorer. >> Do you want to catch every touchdown, home run, and slam dunk? Look no further. Blue Hawk Media is your ultimate destination for all things Blue Hawks. Looks like we're going to have I was going to say the starters back in, but Wyman and Myers are in there along with Tomasi, Huxley, and Griffith for the Blue Hawks here to open up the second quarter. For Dover, we have Morales Perez, we have Austin McQuilier, we have Michael Gorman, Coringham, and Ryan Haber. >> Aggie just suffocating right there. Giving them no room to breathe. >> That's Gorman. And we're going to have a travel. >> I'll be interested to see if Exeter goes zone at any point today. They've done it earlier this season, they've been very successful cuz like we've talked about this
defense is always hungry in there. Jumping around and all that. And they're quick. They're They're hustling all over the place. So, they do have a lot of success in that zone, but they do like to go man-to-man more. >> Tomasi finds Huxley down low. Off balance shot. >> No [laughter] way. >> gets it to go. What touch from Huxley underneath the basket. >> Man, it just seems like every time he's shooting on that rim, it's twice the size of what it actually is. He can get it to go. >> Such such good touch. >> We saw Nick Tomasi last game have great touch with his season high of 12 points against Windham. Right now it's Huxley. >> Agi with a hand in the face. >> Oh, good hands there from Nick Myers. >> Yeah, Nick
Myers reaching in. Tipping it out of bounds. And Johnny Gillis, the 6-1 senior guard, is going to see his first action of the game. >> What's interesting with this Exeter team is it can be anyone's night for scoring. It doesn't matter if it's Huxley, the captain who's been leading the team in points per game, or if it's Thibodeau, Tomasi, Tyler Reim, Agi, it does not matter. It is anyone's chance every night to lead the team in scoring. And honestly, that it makes playing defense on them extremely hard cuz you can't shut down one guy. >> You know, I was going to say that Exeter was going with a slightly smaller lineup, but really, I mean, Myers is 6'5. >> Yeah. >> And so, even when they sub out, they still have the size advantage. >>
Yeah, it's it's crazy how much height I don't know where this height is coming from cuz quite frankly, I got none. So, I would love to see where this height is coming from, but yeah, I mean, everyone on the court right now for Exeter is 6 ft or taller. >> There's Nick Myers wide open from the top. Can't get it to go. Dover rebounds, pushes the pace back the other way. >> Nice pass. >> Underneath that's number 12 for Dover. Oh, can't get it to go though. Tied up. And it's jump ball and that's going to come back Exeter's way. >> [applause] >> Great job recovering after that wide open lob. >> Yeah, that was a great cut from 12 there. That's Kibby. But, the close out defense defense from Nate Tomasi and his wingspan
did not make that basket any easier. >> [applause] >> Touched last by Myers. And Coringham will take it over the half court. Crosses over, finds Gorman, thought about it for a second, takes it down. Kicks it to the corner. That misses. And one. [cheering] And that's Kibby again with the rebound and the put back and draws the foul. >> That's a rare opportunity we see Exeter give up where they allow second chance points. This is why they're such a good rebounding team. Obviously, they have the height, but they're very good at limiting you to one shot per possession. But, Dover doing a great job today. We've seen a couple times they've gotten more than one. We'll see how that plays out later in the game. >> Year after year watching Dover play basketball, they are
always a gritty team. They're a team that will hang with almost anybody in terms of rebounding, steals, turnovers, all those sort of hustle effort type thing type categories. Huxley wide open in the corner. Can't get it to go. Dover will push it back the other way. Oh. J-Mac almost gets a hand on the pass. Tomasi blocks it out of bounds. >> Oh, man. That's a tough guy to shoot over. >> Yeah. That got the student section engaged a little bit. Bigger crowd than we've had here the last few nights. Good to see the students showing up on a Friday night. >> Yeah, they showed up great. A a little late. I said to you before the game, I need to apologize to the student section. I was a little disappointed, but they've come out late
they've come out tonight and they've shown up. >> And they're going to get Tomasi on the foul there. >> And I know from this year Exeter has done better when they have that student section behind them. You and me know from last year when that student section's behind them, they do exponentially better. So, we'll see how the crowd affects them and affects Dover, but as I saying with Tomasi, his wingspan is taller than 6'6. I don't know the official numbers, but he's a lot longer out there. >> That's true. And he grab uses that wingspan to grab the rebound. J Mac pushes it around the back, LEFT HAND IN THE LANE. >> GOODNESS! >> What a finish by Jackson McDonald. Style points as well. >> Did he go behind the back? That was amazing. >>
Michael Burke checks in. There's Tomasi with the steal. >> All I'm saying for Dover is do not let Tomasi start feeling himself and start bringing the energy. He's not afraid to show his emotion and it always brings energy to this Exeter team. >> Here you have Huxley working inside. >> [cheering] >> And Coringham now brings it up for Dover. Over over to Marculier. And now we have Coringham for three, misses everything. That lands on the baseline out of bounds. >> Just a tough shot there and that's a tough shot to miss when you're away. When you're home, it doesn't really matter, but when you're away, that student section lets you hear it and lets you know. >> Jack Thibodeau checking back in. Here's Michael Burke. Burke back to Jackson McDonald. >> Oh, nice steal. That's
Morales Perez picking the pocket, taking it all the way the other way to give Dover a 19-18 lead here with 3:55 to go. >> And that puts him in double digits. >> [applause] >> He's the first player in double digits, too. He's got 11 points. >> Morales Perez, who's first team first. >> Perez surprised the foul was on him. >> I don't think Michael Burke was expecting that pass, and now we have a turnover and Dover will take it back the other way. >> We know from the Portsmouth game when this Exeter team turns the ball over, it never really ends well for them, but they do such a good job eliminating those turnovers that doesn't affect them that much this season. >> There's Burke wide open for three, misses. Rebound, Johnny Gillis with the
mid-range jumper, and he's fired up. >> Yeah, those are the guys, the guys who come off the bench and hit a shot. They'll bring that energy. You love to see that. >> Off the bench, offensive rebound, put back. >> He just had over on the amazing play. He's a great player. We know from last year he had some great defensive moments as a junior, and now as a senior, he's taking advantage of the moments he gets. >> We have three Blue Hawks all jumping on the floor. It's going to be a jump ball to Dover. And Dover will take the opportunity to sub. >> This is a gritty game. This reminds me a lot of the Salem game we had on on night one of this season. This is going to be a good one.
>> Oh. Little miscommunication there, and here's McDonald taking it back the other way. Switches to the right hand and can't get it to go. That's Auber. Marc-Olivier to Xavier. Left hand, tough shot again, short. Burke with the rebound. Up to McDonald, throws it away. >> Just a tough pass there. Little bit of kind of eased it a little bit too much. They just need to make sure they get the ball to the guy. Good effort there from both guys on Xaver trying to make it work. McDonald tried to reach over and get it, but it's a turnover. >> Griffith checks back in. Great defense here from Gillis. Almost throws it away there. I think this is the match-up that Coach Holmes wanted to get to. He He wanted to get a Gee on Morales-Perez. Really
match quickness with quickness, and we see that benefit the Blue Hawks right off the bat. >> Yeah, and you know what? It's It It's great to see a Gee on Morales-Perez, cuz a Gee is an amazing defender, and we've seen already Morales-Perez is an amazing scorer. >> Great play inside. Can't get it to go. >> Good job from >> apply the pressure, but Dover now gets it going the other way. That's 41. Ethan Skids. >> Lynch did a great job. >> I think the foul was on the floor before Tibidou's block. On Johnny Gillis. >> I was hoping they didn't call it on on Tibidou, cuz that that was a clean block. But, yeah, that that number 13 Lynch getting that rebound over Tibidou is not an easy feat. >> Gorman from the line. And
we're going to see Tyler Ream checking in. And a wave of subs from Dover. Gorman will hit them both and it's a 21-20 lead with just under 2 minutes to go. Here's Reem. >> Good job from McGee there finding Reem. >> Reem brings the defender to him, backs up inside to Huxley with a nice little floater through the lane and Exeter regrabs the lead. >> Man, Huxley-Brown's touch on some of these shots is just Sorry, beautiful. >> Here's Gorman driving. >> Oh, nice pass. >> Timido with a quick rebound outlet to Huxley. Huxley gets it to Jaymac. The Hawks pull it back and reset with Reem out top. >> They do a great job finding the open guy no matter what. >> Griffith off the screen, three from deep. >> Nice rebound. >> Reem with
the rebound. Huxley spins into trouble and they're going to call it jump ball. >> I thought that was a tough ball. >> Bounces right back up. We're going to have a baseline out of bounds here. >> I thought maybe that was a little bit too much contact for a jump ball, but ref saw it how he saw it. Look at that little guy go. >> The squeegee crew. >> Oh, yeah. >> Great look inside. >> Wow. And there will be a foul on that. >> And that's Bowden with the foul. Huxley will go to the line shooting two. >> Dover foul number four, James Bowden, his second. Team second. Huxley-Brown at the line, shooting two. >> Connor Lynch checking in for Dover. Huxley's second free throw is good. >> [applause and cheering] >> Two point
lead for Exeter, 23-21. Yavier Morales Perez, he's going to try to take it all the way. Too strong. Brown with the rebound. He's going to push the pace now. >> Aggie played great defense on that. Not too much contact to get foul called, but made it a tough layup. >> There are not many players in all of Division 1 that can run with Aggie, and and Yavier Morales Perez might be one of them. >> Yeah, they're both so fast. >> Tibbett now will try a three. Good rebound there. >> Oh! That was a beautiful pass from uh Morales Perez. >> Certainly the right idea with Tibbett closing. Dover's going to press again. Green fights through it, and they're going to call a foul. >> [applause] >> On Dover. >> Dover foul on number three, Yavier
Morales Perez. That's second. Team foul. >> Coach Fannasy's going to take Morales Perez out with his second foul there. >> And he's got 11 points. He's important to this Dover team. They got to keep him in the game as long as they can. >> Nice cut inside by Aggie. Tough shot, fallaway. Can't quite get it to go. And that's Gorman with the rebound. Finds Lynch in the corner. Tibbett with another block. >> Second one the game. Should have been his third. They're going to throw Morales right in there. >> Yeah, with 10 seconds in a tie game here. >> Dover's going to play for the last shot, I think. >> We saw Tyriem hit amazing buzzer beater at the end of the first quarter against Windham. See what Dover does here. >> Can't get it
to go. Reem, 7 seconds, 6-5. Oh, and the bad dribble. 2 seconds. Long three. >> Oh, JUST OFF >> JUST OFF THE front of the rim. Looking to have another one of those signature moments. >> Yeah, he hit a beautiful one against Windham. That was just like that one, guy in his face, fade away, tough shot. He can make those shots. >> Before we step aside for halftime here, I'd like to say the Blue Hawk Media is a proud to be a member of the New Hampshire Coalition for Community Media, offering a comprehensive listing of New Hampshire high school sports broadcast. 036So, Tim, you and I will step away, but we're going to see uh a little halftime show here. This is uh the EYBB. >> This looks like the sixth grade team. >> Sixth grade team. >> Go Dogs! Go Dogs! >> Defense! Defense! >> Go Red Go Red >> [applause and cheering] >> Yep. >> All right, we're going to rejoin here. Learn more about becoming a high school sports official at www.nchiaa.org. Tim, what did you see in the first half and what can we expect out of the second half for the Hawks coming out of halftime here? >> Well, you know, we didn't see a lot usage of the zone from Exeter. I don't think we saw any. And I wonder if maybe they'll try and transfer a little bit zone defense into this into this game just to try and stop Morales Perez, who we've talked about has 11 points. But, he does have two fouls. So, if he's out here right at the beginning of the first at the beginning of the
second half, maybe look for Exeter's offense to try and target him and get him deeper into that foul trouble. But, otherwise, this has been a pretty clean game. Not a lot of fouls from either team. But, I would be looking to see how Huxley takes into the takes this second half. He's leading Exeter right now with eight points. But, man, it's going to be the other guys. It's going to be someone else who's going to step up. It's not always Huxley. It's not always Aggie. It's not always Tibbs or Tomasi. It's always someone that like you're not really expecting. It's not always there leading in points, but they have a game-changing play. It could be Hucks, it could be anyone on this team is my main point. So, we'll see what they end up doing
here. I would like to see a little bit of zone to try and stop this Dover offense. >> And it is a low-scoring game. Does that favor Dover or Exeter in your opinion? >> In my opinion, I would say it favors Exeter. Exeter loves these low-scoring games. We saw it with Windham, we saw it with Salem, and we saw it with London there. You know, they shut teams down and they trust their guys in the clutch. Like Aggie against Salem hit those clutch free throws. And Windham, that game was low-scoring and Exeter dominated. I mean, you would have thought it was 81 to 51, but in reality, it was 60 it was Let me get the exact score here. 69 to 42. And starters were out basically the entire fourth quarter. So, Exeter loves these
low-scoring games. Dover, they like to score a lot. They have scored 91 points this season. Their season low for scoring is 54, which was against Portsmouth. Their season high 91 versus Concord. They like to score, so I think it favors Exeter if that's a low-scoring game. >> it down a little bit certainly would favor Exeter. And if that pre- if that uh halftime warm-up was any indication, uh we're going to see some some of the bench here to start things off in the second half. >> And I think a lot of that is coach Holmes trying to keep his guys fresh. He understood that Windham back in that game had a short bench, and so he's changing guys out trying to keep them fresh knowing that they'd be more fresh than Windham. We'll see if
Dover kind of matches it cuz Dover's starters have been in this game for a long time. They have been. We've seen Gorman a lot. We've seen Cunningham I think all game. Morales Perez, he took a short break after getting into his foul trouble with two fouls. So, we'll see. >> And I guess the half time warm up wasn't an indication cuz we in fact do have the starters here starting the third quarter. >> Coach Holmes likes to trick you personally, I've heard. >> Yeah. >> [applause] >> You always start to hear the student section come to life. >> And just as you indicated, Tim, we do see Exeter in that sort of 3-2 flex zone they like to play coming out here to start the third. >> It's going to be a turnover. >> Three
second violation from Dover. >> Yeah, thanks for knowing what that meant cuz I wasn't quite sure if he was trying to do a dance move or something. [laughter] I was a little confused what that was, but >> And we're going to see Dover press. >> And you know, Exeter likes the zone I think because they're so long and so fast, you know, like you think you're open for three and then the guy with a a 7-ft wingspan in Tomasi or Thibodeau comes up and shuts that down real quick. >> Absolutely. And when you play Tomasi at the top of that zone, it's he takes up so much space. Thibodeau, tough shot. Tomasi with the rebound. Draws the foul and he'll go to the line for two. >> Dover foul number 12, Locklin Kibbe. This is
his first, team's first. >> First free throw is long. Nate takes a deep breath, resets. Can't get the second to go, but Huxley with the board. He draws some contact inside. No call. Gets the baby hook to go. >> Yeah, I also, speaking on this Exeter defense, I wouldn't be shocked if they show the 1-2-1 zone that they like to run for the full court. They do like to do that, but that's more of a late game thing where they try and stop the defense stop the opposing offense. >> And that's Coringham with his first three of the game. >> That's how you beat zones is you hit three-pointers and you make them have to come out of zone into man. >> Tibbets, A GREAT JOB FINDING TOMASSI LOW for the slam. >> And that's
something that you don't really want to see if you're Dover's. Tomassi starts to bring the energy and start to do momentum plays. >> I was just going to say the same thing. He's a soft-spoken kid in the hallways of VHS, but you get him on the basketball court and he turns into a beast. >> He's the loudest kid on the court sometimes. >> And he's going to shut down that drive real quick. >> Great >> Nice pass by Tomassi. >> J-Mac runs it down and hits the three in the corner right in front of the Exeter bench and that gets the crowd into it. >> Good job there from Gorman to shut down the crowd and quiet them down. >> Nice find inside. >> Oh. >> Javier Morales-Bres finds Coringham. That's going to be off.
Tomassi touched it last. That'll stay Dover's ball. >> That was interesting that I think Tibbetts thought he had a guy there and then the guy can't kind of cut trying to get open a little bit of miscommunication there. >> Yeah, there was nothing Tibbs could do. He's hanging in the air trying to save the ball. >> That's what we'd rather see. We'd rather see a hustle play there where you're willing to take a chance. >> Oh, nice block by Huxley. >> by Huxley. >> And he blocks it off the Dover player number 12, Lochlin Kibby, and that'll be Exeter's ball going back the other way. Just over 2 and 1/2 minutes gone. Exeter with a two-point lead, 30 to 28. >> This Exeter team has like a science when it comes to blocking. It feels
like every game they've double-digit blocks as a team. It obviously helps having Tomasi and Tevado in the paint. >> Here's Huxley out top. >> They're going to call foul there. A little bit of hooking there from Gorman. >> [applause] >> We're going to have a baseline out of bounds. Exeter in their standard box. Griffin sets the screen then peels off it, gets it in the corner, drives. >> Oh, nice pass. >> Nice find underneath. Tevado gathers, he goes up strong. That is the move we want to see from Jack Tevado down low. >> And he knew that shot was going in. It was bouncing on the rim and he started running back for defense. That's awesome to see. Nice cut from Wynn. Oh, Kibby sorry. >> Kibby, yep. >> He's got seven. >> Exeter quickly
breaks the press again. Agi from the corner in front of the student section, right-hand dribble. Down to Tomasi. Tomasi turns, finds McDonald. Extra step through the lane and a left-handed reverse. >> Oh my goodness. Sorry, oh my goodness, but that was just beautiful. He went up and under. Man. Oh, nice pass. >> Gorman wide open from the corner, he's not going to miss that. He's in double figures with 11 points. Dover will press again. >> I said it to you at halftime, this is an absolute dog fight of a game. >> Yeah, up and down. Yeah. The he didn't think he left the court he left the floor but but he did. And that'll be a turnover, Dover's ball going the other way. >> That was great defense from Coiningham. He just did a great
job of not letting McDonald get that three off and McDonald felt him which made him kind of come up and stop. He couldn't quite keep that foot on the floor for long enough. >> Tyler Ream checking in for the Hawks. Fights through the screen, sticks with his man. Now we have Gorman trapped down in the corner. Timeout, coach Vennessey. >> Timeout, Dover. >> I think that timeout there was a precautionary thing knowing Exeter has the possession arrow and they're about to tie him up. That tells you right here how important every possession's going to be as we have 3 minutes and 49 seconds to go in the third. >> And you know, I was thinking about this while the game was going on. I think what Exeter likes most about these close games is that
it tends to be the number one scorer on your team or the number two scorer on the team that you trust in those moments. And Exeter is so good at shutting those guys down. We saw it with Portsmouth, we saw it with Windham. We're seeing it right now. Gorman, he does have 10 points, but when it comes to the number two guy, Morales, actually no, Dover's one of the first teams I've seen that's come in and they've had their guy scoring the most points. 11 and 10 most of the time. Exeter does a good job of shutting that down. We'll see how it comes late game. I think they trust their defense to shut these guys down late game. >> Agigi gets a hand on it but can't quite keep it in bounds. Great hustle
play. >> And Exeter in those late games, the opposing team typically tries to shut down Huxley, but there's no definitive number two scorer for Exeter. Agigi, man, he's a tough guy to get that ball around. >> And that's going to hit the top of the backboard. And it'll be Exeter's ball. And Dover will press. No, they're going to back off the press. >> This is definitely interesting to see here. We'll see what Dover does in the second half. They play a lot of man. They're doubling the ball. Nice play. >> by Dover. Gorman gives it up to Javier Morales Perez. >> [applause] >> Man, the hustle >> Dover the lead. >> The hustle shown by both teams tonight. Neither of these teams have guys who are afraid to go home tired and go home feeling
absolutely empty. They are They are more than willing to empty that gas tank in these games. >> Exeter does appear to have the advantage in terms of bench depth. >> Yeah. >> But this is going to come This is going to come down to one or two possessions. You can tell already. Almost had a turnover there. Agi, [cheering] wide open for three. Can't get it to go. Ball batted around, still loose. Throws it away. >> Oh! >> And Agi gets it back. Nice touch underneath and Exeter claws back in front. >> Man, that was just right there. That's just who can control the ball. That was a tough play for both teams to make. And Agi came in jumping 17 ft in the air to get that. >> [laughter] >> Absolutely. Late foul call on
the drive. And Javier Morales Perez is slow to get up. >> I wonder if some of that is injury and some of that might be just overall exhaustion. A lot of energy expended in these past couple of moments. >> Sideways rotation on that free throw, but it's a swish. And Morales Perez has tied it up. >> These are the games you love to watch when it comes to high school sports. It's the close, gritty, ones. >> I agree. >> And Rattles home the second over with a one point advantage. >> And again, they'll press off the make. >> 15 for Morales Perez. There's Huxley from the corner. Can't get it to go. It's Tomasi and Lynch tied up underneath. >> That's a travel. That'll come back the other way for Exeter. >> Man, they these
teams both just neither team wants to give it up. Neither team wants to be a team to make the crucial mistake. And you're seeing a lot of great defensive plays and a lot of great of offensive hustle plays. I'm so excited for this fourth quarter. >> Still over two minutes to go in the third. Huxley doubled out top, gets it away to Tomasi. Tomasi to McDonald. McDonald left hand three. Can't get it to go. Agy with the rebound underneath. We have a foul on the floor. That's going to be a reach in. On 14. >> Dover has number 14 Jackson Brock. His first team's third. >> And the Hawks will set up in their patented box. Tomasi finds Reem all alone out top. Halfway down and bounces out. And Morales Perez pushes the tempo the
other way. Finds Abeille. Agy I think got a piece of that and then Reem knocks it out of bounds. And it'll be Dover ball for the inbound play from the baseline. >> Man, I thought for sure they were going to get an open shot under the basket and then Agy just comes out of nowhere. >> Ooh, almost a backcourt violation there by Brock. Morales Perez switches hands in the air. Pretty finish with the floater and that's a three-point Dover lead now. McDonald a one-man press break finds Tomasi. >> [cheering] >> OH, WOW. >> GOING TO CALL a jump ball that stays Exeter's possession. >> Man, I wanted to wait to see if that whistle was for a foul or a jump ball, but man, what a block Tomasi. Obviously with the height, tough guy to
get a block on the rim. >> Johnny Gillis checks in. Just got to find the open guy. Reem [cheering] wide open in front of the student section back rims it. And Morales Perez pushes it the other way. Johnny Gillis up tight on him. Now fights through the screen, sticks with him, hand in THE FACE. >> AND ONE! [screaming] >> WHAT A SHOT. They didn't have a timeout here by coach Holmes. >> Man, what a shot. Man, that's that feels like one of those momentum plays right there. >> And I think that's exactly why you're going to get the timeout here. Still a minute and 16 to go in the third. Certainly not time to press the panic button. But you you have to stop the Dover momentum here just a little bit. Strategic timeout. It's
going to be a full timeout. Coach Holmes talks it over with his team. >> And you know, I think that timeout is to calm the guys down and just like let them get a breather. You're you know, obviously we have free throws coming up, but that was a pretty big play and you know, Dover's at the highest of highs right now. We need to just settle that down, settle that adrenaline down for them and that's why that timeout's so good there by coach Holmes. >> Before we rejoin the action, if you want to catch every touchdown, home run and slam dunk, look no further. He's got 19 right now. >> He has certainly been the engine of the Dover offense tonight. >> Yeah. >> [snorts] >> He's just having an amazing game. I mean, it it it feels like he's in every single conversation we have and every single sentence we say. >> And I think you're right, Tim. I mean, Dover has found something here. They They had that nice run in the Oyster River Holiday Classic, and then they come out of the break and and have to play Trinity and Portsmouth right off the bat. But But this is a team that is really finding their identity with their two stars, Morales
Perez and Gorman. That's Johnny Gillis with the mid-range floater. That's short. Tomasi cleans it up for two. Who else but Tomasi, right? Right on the glass, ready. In a game like this, it tends to come down to your seniors. We know this from covering the team over the years. That pass almost tipped away. Oh, nice job finding the open guy. Oh, nice moves. So quick, Morales Perez. That is going to be a travel. He switched his pivot. Sometimes you're almost too quick for your own good. >> Yeah, and you saw he had he had Johnny Gillis a little frozen there. And Johnny Gillis, he's a great defender. That's a tough guy to do that to but he moves that pivot foot. >> Exeter breaks the press cleanly. Huxley he'll throw up a floater in the
lane. That's short. Tomasi tried to save it but it's Yavier Morales Perez the other way. Gillis reaches in tips it away. Nice hustle from Tomasi get back. A Bear out top. To Corning in the corner for three short. Hustles gets his own rebound. Blocked by Huxley. >> [applause] >> Wow, this is man. You can feel the energy in this game right now. Fourth quarter four point game. Exeter got a little bit of momentum there with that block from Huxley. And the student section is on their feet but they haven't really been a factor here especially with the the the Dover run here. It's kind of quieted the crowd a bit. Might be time to get that home court advantage back a little bit and get get the crowd going. Maybe a big dunk by one
of the one of the centers or or another one of those Jackson McDonald highlight reel going to the hoops hoop layups. Something something to get the crowd back in it here in the fourth would be huge. And you know I I would look at Nate Tomasi. See it he has been the energy bringer this year and we'll see if he maybe just makes a play. Typically it's him or A Gee. A Gee will make a three pointer or a mid-range that gets the crowd going or he'll you know it we'll see who the playmaker is but I would keep my eye on Tomasi and A Gee. >> [cheering] >> But you're definitely right. We need something to bring the crowd into it. So coach Holmes is going to go with his starters here to start
off the fourth as will coach Vanesse for Dover. Dorman to Morales Perez. He's doubled back to Gorman out top. He's doubled. >> We're starting to see that zone from Axeler come out. >> [applause] >> Oh, man. >> Great ball movement from Dover. Can't get it to go. A G with the rebound. >> Great job from Dover there though. Kind of getting Axeler mixed up in their communication and causing an open guy for three. Just couldn't hit the shot. >> Here we have Huxley spinning down low. Goes up with it. Draws the foul and he's going to shoot two. >> He likes those inside shots. >> I love when a team is down and they take the ball to the hole. They draw the foul. Slows things down. Clock's stopped. Get a chance to get a
point back, two points back without the clock ticking away. Great job by the Hawks. >> But yes, you're definitely right. When teams down like this and they need it. Going inside's the best bet. >> Huxley will hit the second. Now it's a three-point Dover lead. >> Oh, there's that 1-3-1. And we love seeing Tomassetti out top on that. His wingspan really is an advantage for the Hawks. >> That falls short. Dover gets the rebound pouring him now on the wing. Brings it back out top left-hand dribble. Crosses over. Finds Bowden. Bowden now brings it back to the top. Swings it to Morales Perez. He'll back it out. Trying to create some space. A G right with him. Nothing there. >> And Tomassetti with the block. Finds McDonald with THE OUTLET. HE SWITCHES IT THE LEFT
hand and there it is, another highlight layup from number 11, Jackson McDonald. And that gets the crowd back into it. It's a one point Dover lead. >> And you know who was involved in that? Nate Tomasi and Jackson McDonald, just like you were talking about. >> steal now, kicks it to Thibodeau. >> And there's the other part of the Exeter energy bringers, Aggie. >> And here you have the crowd back into it. >> Ah, just a tough play there. >> That's going to be a backcourt, or excuse me, that's going to be out of bounds. >> But you know what? Exeter had a great little burst there. You had the Tomasi block, the McDonald bucket, and then you had the Aggie steal. Let's see what they do with it. >> Corrigan gets his man in
the air, steps aside, can't get it to go. >> I was worried. Oh, nice play. >> That's Boutin. Tips it away, gets the finish. Here's Thibodeau to Huxley to Aggie. Aggie up fake, ball tapped away, and it's going to go back the other way Dover. That's Gorman. >> Oh, he missed the layup. >> get it to go. >> Who else though? >> That was Perez. >> Quick little burst there from Greenway, shut down the momentum for Exeter. >> Coach Holmes is just going to take a 20-second timeout here. >> He's got two remaining if I've kept up with the timeouts correctly. >> That is correct. >> Let's see if this Exeter student section can bring some energy for this Exeter team. >> We saw it for a second there. >> Yeah, we had the turnover,
the we had the block, the turnover, the acrobatic layup, the chance started in the crowd, but then we had a turnover back the other way and it immediately killed that momentum. So, you need to have two or three plays like that and see if you can really get that tide turning. And it's going to be Exeter ball down four here with 5:48 to go. McDonald brings the ball up for Exeter. >> Starting to hear that crowd come in. >> Finds Keeby on the wing. Keeby back out top. Huxley from the free throw line, can't get it to go. They had the rebound for a second, but Dover knocks it away and it's Morales Perez down the left-hand side. He pulls it out, slows things down for Dover. Oh, behind the back dribble. >> Oh, nice.
>> And they're going to call Huxley with the block. [cheering] >> I got to say I don't mind that. It's a 50/50 call. I like the intensity. >> Just a little frustrating, obviously, cuz you had the steal. Man, I wish that was clean, but good call there by the ref. >> And now Gorman calls out the play. To Coringham. Coringham with the dribble hand off to Morales Perez. Morales Perez behind the back, step through, can't get it to go. Dover gets the rebound. Number 12, he can't get it to go. It's Tomasi with the rebound and draws the foul. Tyler Reem checking in for Griffith. >> Looks like they called that foul on 12. That's Keeby. Keeby. >> And Dover here wants a timeout. >> Yeah, I think that's to get Keeby out of the
game. He's in He's in foul trouble. He's got three. >> Blue Hawk Media is proud to be a member of the New Hampshire Coalition for Community Media, offering a comprehensive listing of New Hampshire high school sports broadcast. Tim, with 5:02 left, what's What do you think Coach Holmes talking about in the huddle down there? >> I think he's telling the guys to calm down and communicate better because we saw on that rebound where Dover ended up with it and we had two X's their guys have a chance at it. It was more about the miscommunication. One guy backed into the other guy
while the other guy was coming forward and hit the other guy and it caused that ball to be loose and Dover got it. If I was Coach Holmes, I'm saying, "Hey guys, we need to calm down. We need to breathe. We need to communicate. You need to tell your guys what you're doing. We need to go, 'I got it. I got it.' You know, um open open open even though you don't obviously there's certain times where you don't want to bring attention to yourself when you're open. You just need, as a team, communicate better when it comes to defense, offense, rebounding. You just need to communicate. That's what I think it comes down to right now. >> So, it's going to be Exeter's ball. Reem inbounds it to McDonald. >> You know, Dover has almost
completely gone away with the pressure when it comes to bringing up court. I think you were right where they noticed that Exeter liked it. >> So, Mossy's going to shoot the three from the corner. He can't get it to go. And it's Dover back the other way. >> They definitely want the ball in Morales-Perez's hands at the late point in the game. You can tell the offense is almost run right around him and what he can do. >> And they're going to slow things right down here. You can see it. That may have been what that timeout was for coach Tennessee. Reem almost tips it away. Again, almost tips it away. Morales switches to the left, gets in the air. >> Has Coringham and he hits the three. That's a big three. >> Matter of
time before he hit a three-pointer. He's had a couple open ones today that he's missed. That one was huge. >> Griffin ready to Griffin's ready to check back in. Reem out to Huxley. And the Hawks having a having a tough time getting it down low here. Dover has really tightened up that defense down low. >> Thibodeau tough shot. >> [cheering] >> Just a tough shot there from Thibodeau. He had two guys on him. Just difficult to find an open shot for Exeter right now. >> Dover almost throws that one away, but it's Bowden. Switches and pivots to the right hand. Inside rebound. That's number 12, Lochlan Kibby. >> [cheering] >> He's got nine and man, all the momentum on Dover's side right now. And it's a 10-point lead and Holmes has used another timeout. >>
This is a This is the largest lead of the game for both teams. The first time either team has entered the double digit range for leads. This is where we started to see Exeter it slip away from Exeter against Portsmouth. Is this late in the game? Portsmouth got a lot of momentum and was able to kind of just dance their way through the game in the sense that they were able to control the rest. Each time Exeter got a bucket, it got some momentum, Portsmouth got a play to shut that momentum down and keep it at arm just out of arms reach for Exeter. We'll see how Exeter responds in this timeout. >> I I have to imagine that coach Holmes is talking about shot selection right now. >> Yeah. >> Uh I don't think
he's been happy with the last few Hawks possessions coming down not not getting the shots that that he expects his boys to to take. >> Yeah, I think, you know, it's it's been difficult to you know, in the first half we saw great shot selection from the Hawks. And I think as this game has gone on, Dover has increased the pressure making Exeter almost feel like they need to just get a shot up when they have a chance. And you know, when them when them we were successful in being patient and getting to that open shot and finding our way to that open shot. Now, Exeter's starting to feel the pressure being down late. >> And with 3 minutes to go, you can't really afford to be patient. You got to have those quick cuts
like you see right there from Thibodeau. And and and that's exactly what that's exactly what you draw up there. And now we are going to press. And let's see if the Exeter athletes >> [cheering] >> can get A TURNOVER HERE. >> [screaming] >> THAT'S Huxley down low to J-Mac. He finishes with the left and they're going to press again [cheering] off the make. >> Huxley just did a great job there not fouling, not getting a jump, just getting the steal and getting the quick bucket. >> Advantageous for Exeter that that one didn't go. But it will be Coring him going to the line for two. >> Who's first? Team second. >> Man, I'll tell you this. Exeter is you are definitely right. Exeter doesn't really have time to be patient. But with Thibodeau's shot, it's
not necessarily about taking a shot when no one's on you. It's taking a shot that you're confident in. >> Yeah. >> Taking a shot that you feel good about, you can let it off those fingertips and feel good about your chance of making it. It's like timeout here Dover. >> And he's I I imagine Fennissey's reminding his boys that we have a six-point lead. Let's make this free throw. Slow it down as well. >> Absolutely. >> They want to try and to limit the amount possessions Exeter has to tie this game. >> And he's going to draw up a couple plays for the press break here because you can expect Exeter to press at this point whether it's a make or or a miss. >> Yeah, I would have liked to see Exeter if they
make if they make the shot, I would have liked to see them go in the 1-3-1 with Tomasi at the top cuz that is so difficult to break, especially with Tomasi and his wingspan. We saw Portsmouth struggle with it, Windham struggled with it, Salem struggled with it. >> No team has really been able to find success when Exeter does that 1-3-1. The only issue it exerts a lot of energy, especially from a guy like Tomasi who's so important. You don't necessarily want him on empty for the last couple of seconds in the game. >> That's good point. We got 2:44 to go. We have Corningham at the line. He has one more shot. >> And I'm seeing right now Tomasi on the bench, so I think they're going to stay away from the 1-3-1, and
I would imagine that they maybe want to go with a more offensive group out there. Tomasi obviously mainly known for his defense and rebounding. >> [applause] >> Reem will take the ball up the court. A smaller lineup here for Exeter. That's Huxley down low, back out to Reem, up fake, pulls it back out, and resets. He's going to drive, kicks it to Thibodeau, around to Griffith. Griffith hangs in the air. Nice long off the back iron. And he's going to get Huxley for the foul on the body. >> I like the shot selection from Aggie on that shot. He had open mid-range. That was a good shot. It's just tough to make this. Dover defense is doing extremely well. >> Exeter with the full court pressure. >> Oh, no one was on the rebound. >>
Pulls it out. Gorm now in the lane. Finds open man. That's number 12, Lochlin Kibby underneath. >> That was just a nice pass. >> Quickly back the other way. Aggie for three. Short iron. >> Exeter is starting to feel the pressure. They know they need quick buckets. That's what that shot was right there. Oh, nice job from Aggie to get that. >> doing Exeter a favor there with the shot coming so quickly. J-Mac can't get it to go from the corner. >> Ah. Man, this Dover way finds create This Dover team finds creative ways to get open guys. >> And that's going to be a basket and the foul for Kibby. And he's going to go to the line and Dover has an 11-point lead with a minute and 30 to go. >> And you
know, we've talked about it a lot. They found something in that tournament. Even though they came out of break with two rough losses, this Dover team is starting to find their footing and starting to find their success. >> Kibby can't convert the three-point play. And Exeter's going to have to hustle here. Thibodeau with the high screen. Reem from long range. Aggie can't quite track Put down in front of the Exeter bench. >> Let's go, Aggie. Exeter has no choice but to pressure here. >> You know, that's the one of rare Oh, night >> Huxley again ties them up. Nice pass down low to Burke. >> [cheering] >> They're going to press again. Man, Huxley Quick foul by Reem. Huxley does a great job on that press. That is something to look at for later in
the season when they need that in playoff games. Watch for Huxley to cover the guy with the ball and try and get a steal. >> And and you got to appreciate the referees not calling the quick jump ball. >> No. They understand what these ex- what Exeter and what this game is looking at. You know, obviously sometimes there's a little bit quickness in the calls for a jump for a jump ball, but you know, this is late game. They understand that Exeter is not necessarily going for a jump. They're going for a steal, so they give them a little bit more grace. >> Morales misses the second, but somehow gets his own rebound. >> Great hustle right there. He caught Exeter sleeping and did a great job. >> Brown, no choice but to foul. That's
a tough one. Dover had all their guys back. Literally nobody in the paint. And you get a funny bounce of the ball and there's three Exeter players standing there and it goes to the Dover player. >> Yeah, just a a great hustle play there from Morales as he's talking to the student section of Exeter. >> [applause] >> Here's Aggie. Got to go quick. Over to Reem. Reem from deep. Can't quite get it to go. And Morales Prez leaks out. >> [screaming] >> And he's letting Exeter know right now. He's fired up. Oh, it's a scramble. He's letting Exeter know that he's still here. He's got more energy to go for this last 40 seconds. Fouls on the floor. Exeter will inbound underneath the basket. Aggie lets his man go by. That's a crazy spinning three-pointer.
Huxley can't get it to go. Gets his own rebound. Thibodeau underneath. Oh. Reem with the rebound. Aggie now for three. Oh man, that doesn't go. Man, just a tough night at the rim. >> [cheering] >> Man, this Dover team, they're going to bring energy into their next game. >> Yeah. >> They're looking at playing Manchester Central. They're starting to find their footing. You can see Morales is still hyped up on the bench as he is most likely probably going to be exchanged out for the rest of the game with some better with some bench players. Sorry, definitely not better players. He put up 25 tonight. He is one of the best in the state I've seen. And man, it's just a shocker that he does not lead this team in points. Gorman, obviously averaging 18.2,
he's got 12, but Morales, man, he averaged 11.6 coming into this game. But as you said, he's coming off Is it him or Gorman come >> And he is still jawwing >> Man, he >> at the Exeter crowd. >> And you know what? He probably is loving this because they can't say anything to him. We're down 14 and he's got almost 30 points. >> He's trying to let Agyei know. >> Yeah. >> He wants to be careful here.
