Yes. >> You're very welcome. >> Good evening everyone. We are going to reconvene into public session. I'd like to call the meeting to order at 7:42. Please join me in saluting the flag. >> I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America to the republic for it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. At this time, I'd like to go over the emergency evacuation procedures effective September 1st, 1991. Chapter 9 of the laws of 1991 requires that we inform persons other than students who attend meetings within a school of the proper procedures to evacuate a building in an orderly and timely manner. In the event of a fire emergency, if you must evacuate this room because of an emergency, there are four exits that may be used.
Exit one is on the west. Go out the door and walk onto the field away from the building. Exit two is to the south. Walk through the door across the parking lot to the fields away from the building. Exit three is to the east. Go to the doors. Turn right then left. And finally, exit the building and walk to the south field. Exit four, go through the door, turn left, and go out of the rear doors of the cafeteria. If these doors are locked, turn right, go down the hall, and use the exit doors on your left. Proceed to Jackson Street. And I hope you all remember those exits. >> Okay. So I'd like to take this moment to welcome everyone and to thank the building school principal Dr. Martin and the staff on the
e excellent condition of the building and also for the refreshments. Okay. The board of education accepts the minutes for the March 25th, 2025 board meeting as detailed in the mailing. >> Moved by Mr. Resca. >> Second by Miss Kohl's. Any discussion? All those in favor? I >> opposed. Okay. Motion carries. The board of education acknowledges receipt of the treasures report for the month of February 2026 as detailed in the Friday mailing. >> So moved. >> Moved by Mr. Rescered. >> Seconded by Miss Kohl's. All those in favor? I. >> Any opposed? Okay. Motion carries. All right. So at this time we are going to have comments and reports on the education of our community. Um we present to you a superintendent of schools, Mr. McNel. >> Thank you madam president. Good evening everyone. So nice
to see so many people here tonight. Um I know some more people are coming in. Um so as we begin our program this evening we first like to recognize uh distinguished guest here who's going to present an award um for Balden Middle School's future teachers pre-academy program. I'd like to introduce um from NISVA which is the New York State uh school board association the area 11 director uh Mr. Charice Desire. >> Desire. >> Desight. Thank you. So Good evening, Baldwin community, to the board of education, and everyone um who is assembled here this evening. Um on behalf of the New York State School Boards Association and um in my role as the area 11 director which represents Nassau County, it is my honor to come back to Brooklyn yet again with a Champions of Change
recognition award for your future teachers pre-academy program which I think is a wonderful opportunity that you're providing to eighth graders um to basically grow your own talent um so that you can empower them with uh all the different ways in which they can contribute to a school environment. Often times we mostly hear about teachers but there are so many other moving parts. Teachers are a vital part but there are still other various important parts to the school and I think it's great to be able to um expose young people at an early age to those options. So on behalf of the New York State School Board Association, congratulations on continuing to be innovative for your community and be able to empower your scholars with various things. So I look forward to coming back again and
with the next award that Baldwin gets, but just want to um congratulate also your superintendent also for um jumping in and getting right at the job. So welcome and thank you Thank you so much. We really appreciate all of your support. Uh all of New York State schoolboard support. Um school boards is such a wonderful organization. Um thank you so much. Um just the audience knows the middle school program has several pre-academy classes and the future teacher program is one of those. Um the middle school students in this academy go to metal predominantly to do student teaching type experiences and as was so eloquently said we are building our own pipeline and then when they enter high school they're still interested in that profession. We have our academy program, our educator academy program where they
continue that learning uh ultimately mimicking a college type experience where they'll do student teaching um a methodology class um and they go to the middle school to do teaching or at Brookside sometimes as well. So, it's a wonderful program. Thank you for recognizing it. Appreciate it. >> Yeah. just some un other um accolades to share about the district since we have so many people here. Um the middle school is going to be featured another opportunity for them to be on the news um in social media channels through the Makea-Wish Foundation. Um so our middle school has participated under Dr. Taylor's guidance in a uh fundraising attempt. They raised over $14,000 um in a very short period of time from Make a Wish Foundation. What's fascinating about this is that we're the first school district on
Long Island to have the partnership with Make A-Wish Foundation because it requires also partnership with a nurse or a doctor. Um so including our school nurse at the middle school um and families that are unfortunately impacted um by cancer and other diseases. There was a great collaboration and um middle school has uh done a great job to raise that much money. So we're very proud about middle school and their accomplishments achievements. Some other great things going on. Um concert times upon us. Spring concert. So who's been to a concert already? Fantastic. I was at Plazas last night and it was absolutely wonderful listening to grades 3, four, five sing orchestras are growing across the district. There's so many students on stage. Uh the bands are growing in terms of the number of students enrolled um
which is seeing evidence of that in the middle school too because the class sizes for those um ensembles are growing. Um but it was a fantastic job. The students in grade 345 were seeing some highlevel pieces at least the cuts that I saw and I was astonished by what they were doing. Um so kudos to all our young musicians across the district um and our high school middle school students as well in this concerts. Another piece of accolade that uh was out recently was uh Baldwin is highlighted in K12 dive. That's an education magazine as well as Yahoo News for our mentoring program recently that just came out this week. So very proud of those accomplishments achievements honoring uh Baldwin's work towards mentoring. That's peer mentoring and um adult to student mentoring. the wonderful program.
Um, the spring season, athletic season is upon us, finally. It's finally getting nice and warm out. Um, and we already have some to acknowledge. Uh, we had a senior who has scored her 100th career goal as a varsity lacrosse player. That's not easy. Um, Casey Kersy. So, um, if you know her or you see her, send her your thoughts and, um, congratulations. but 100 career goals as a varsity sports player. Great accolade. And the awards continue. Our very own president was selected by uh Nassau Suffach School Board Association as an outstanding schoolboard service award recipient. Um this award really recognizes the extraordinary contributions of a schoolboard member to the community. So we thank you for your contributions. We know school board members get paid a lot of money. So, >> lot a lot of zeros.
No number in front of the zeros, just a lot of zeros. >> Thank you. >> Uh, and we had a former trustee, former president also receive an award. Uh, Miss Mayor Joe Hagen um was selected to receive the uh Nassau SuffK School Board Association's Champion of uh Long Island Education Award. That award recognizes an individual's contribution and dedication to public education. Uh, and someone who goes above and beyond. So we know she has done that for over 30 years. So we're very happy that she was recognized with that award as well. So um go Baldwin. >> And my last thing uh before we turn the program over to our PTA for reflections is the high school um had a college fair on Tuesday yesterday. So if you have high school children, talk to them about
the college fair. If they went to it, didn't go to it. There's always a lot of things going on. Sometimes our young children, I have three, so I know they don't share. So ask them when they come home, what did you learn? What did you do? What took place in school today, they may share, they may not, but um there was a great college fair yesterday. Um so, you know, definitely encourage the conversations to always take place at home. Um cell phones away hopefully, right? Um all right. Now, without further ado, we have our PTA reflections. Um, so tonight we're very proud to recognize all the students whose creativity, talent, and voice truly reflect the spirit of this year's PTA reflections theme, which is I belong. Uh, we know the PTA is amazing in Baldwin.
PTA reflection program is a national um arts initiative. Um, but without the PTA coordinating it, looking at the awards, it wouldn't take place, right? So, we uh thank the PTA for all their uh contributions. We're also so incredibly proud of them. Um, so Miss Wanda Patterson is up >> and Miss Lugo is up with you supporting you. Wonderful. So I'm going to turn over. They're going to be I'm seeing today Miss Lugo. So turn the uh program over to you. >> Okay. Good work. All right. Um, for those of you even with a microphone I have to speak louder. Is this on? All right. We are here to present the awards for participation. All right. This is not my forte, but we're here on behalf of Baldwin Council of PTAs to present the participation awards
for the reflections program. Um, National PTA Reflections is a cultural arts competition for students in preK through 12th grade. Each year, students create original works in one or more of the following categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, or visual arts. Students submit through their local PTA and then advance finalists to state, council, and potentially national levels. And we have several that have advanced to the county, state, and national levels. The concept this year is I belong. It was created by a sixth grader from Boise, Idaho, who was inspired by the sense of acceptance and connection he felt with his family and school community. In a broader sense, to belong means to be valued, respected, and secure in a group or community, whether that's family, friends, cultural or religious groups, clubs, teams, or
even online communities. Belonging fosters self-esteem, social skills, resilience, and can be found in diverse contexts, even among people with different backgrounds and perspectives. So, all the student pieces highlight the theme. And we're going to call up um the reflections rep from each school. And we'll start with Brookside. >> Brookside. >> And if you haven't had a chance to check out the students artwork, it is on display in the cafeteria. I'm done. >> Thank you. >> Good evening, Baldwin community. How are you? Good to see everybody come out tonight for reflections. My name is Pamela Pratt. I am the former chair for reflections. I've done it for the last two years and this year I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Shireen Brown Frasier to um become the chair for this year and prepare her
to do this for Brookside for next year as my child is moving on to the middle school. Um so just to begin, our children worked on the reflection program starting back in October and November. We had an info session where we worked on um the theme I belonged. Gave the kids some art pieces, um easel, pens, pen just to get the their brains going on figuring out what the theme really meant to them. And from that session, we had 12 children decide to participate in the program. And then three out of the 12 were Nassau region finalist. Yes. So I will start um with the first student, Maya Henry, kindergarten. She submitted a visual arts piece called school, family, and friends. Is Maya here today? Okay. And we'll continue. Our next student was Victoria Vogleton,
kindergarten dance choreography. title of her work, I'm part of the world. And she was a Nassau region finalist. Victoria, can you come up? Give it to me. As a Nassau region finalist, Victoria also gets a marble medal for her achievement. >> Picture. >> Yes. >> Do you want to go? Go ahead. >> And I'm going to turn it over to Dr. Shireen Brown. Praise y'all for just showing her what she can do. >> First time. Thank you, Pam, for being such a great teacher and sharing. The next awardy is Brooke Strong de Jesus, first grade visual arts. Title of the work is I belong here. Wherever I go, I still belong. The next awardee Brookside is Amelia Anderson third grade arts category dance choreography and the title of her work is find where I belong.

The next awardee is Charlotte Anderson, third grade, visual arts. Title of the work, A Family of Shapes. Nice. And Charlotte was a thank you for that is a Nassau region finalist. That's a big deal. She gets this award as well. So she made it to the regionals. Then we have Maisie Blueberry Farington, third grade, visual arts. Title of the work, I belong. We all belong. >> Next we have Sage Whiteitman, fourth grade, visual arts title, Aura and Celeste. Sure. Sure. And last but not least, we have Aiden Duckett, fifth grade, visual arts. the title Lucas and the Bully. Let's give another applause to all of our Brookside reflections participants. They did a wonderful, wonderful job. Very proud of them. And next we have Plaza. Okay, >> next we have Lennox. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. Good evening all. We are so I'm so happy um to be able to present to you our participants from Plaza Elementary. This was my first year as reflections chair and so it was an absolute joy to be able to view and and to see all the hard work that um that our
plaza kids were able to uh submit. There were 12 entries um from 11 students and two of our entries made it uh all the way through to as Nassau regional finalists and so we were very proud um to be able to have that accomplishment. So that being said the f I will begin with the visual arts category our kindergarten kindergarten through second grade. First up, Emily Jer in second grade. Her piece was The Belonging Earth, and she advanced to the National Regional Competition. Oh, I'm sorry. Actually, I'm wrong. >> There you go. >> Next, Gabriella Martin, first grade. Her piece was entitled I Belong at Plaza. CONGRATULATIONS. NEXT, we have Lydia Raone, first grade. Her piece was entitled The Very Good Dancer. I'm not sure if she's here. Okay, we will send that to her.

In the visual arts third through fifth grade category, we have Amamira Alamu. She's in fourth grade and her piece was entitled My Crew. I don't believe she's here this evening, so we'll get this over to her. Next is Lyanna Martin, fifth grade. Her piece was entitled Where I Belong. She also submitted um a piece in the literature category um which also advanced to the National Regional Competition. So congratulations to you. All right, next up, Zoe Michelle. She's in fourth grade and the the title of the piece was The Fabric of Who I Am. Congratulations. And then we have Jacob Ramon uh fourth grade and his uh his piece was entitled Happiness. And
so we will get that over to him. And then finally in this category, where'd she go? Where'd she go? I want to make sure I get it right. Fua Falua. >> Oh, here. Sorry, Sarah. Congratulations. All right. And then in the literature category for third through fifth grade, we had two entries. Maro, I hope I'm saying it correctly. Um, Adter, fourth grade, and her piece advanced out of the Nassau um, regional finalist to the state level, and she got an a merit award. So, congratulations to you. Okay. And then, as I mentioned before, Lyanna Martin was in that category as well. Lastly, for the dance choreography, kindergarten through 2 grade, there was Molly Karns, and her piece was entitled We Belong. She here? No. Well, her piece advanced also to the state level as well,
and she also got a merit award. So, we will make sure to get this over to her as well. >> Oh, yay. Fantastic. >> Congratulations, Molly. Oh, thanks. Okay, and that's it. Next up we have Lenox. Anyone here? Thank you. Hi, good evening. Uh my name is Nikita. I am the uh reflections chair for Lennox Elementary. This is my second year doing it. Um I had the privilege of uh teaming up with our creative corner after school program to kind of give our kids a head start, get the juices in their brain flowing on what they were going to create for this program. Um and in December, Lennox had their first ever art exhibit where we displayed not only the um the students who participated in the program in the creative corner program, but also
a reflection. So we acknowledged um their participation that evening as well and they were received celebration and a certificate as well. So tonight we're doing that in front of all of Baldwin for them. Um, so, uh, the first student I'm going to start with is Miss Selene Fernandez. She's in third grade. She, um, submitted a poem called The Finish Line. Uh, we have Alex Merchant Jr. who is also in third grade. He submitted a visual arts called We All Belong. We have uh Sebastian Pompulus who's also in third grade. Uh he submitted a visual arts for called Colors. Uh Safia Pompus sister in fourth grade uh she submitted a poem. It was called I Belong. And then we have two students who are not here this evening, but um Amelia Stevens in the fourth grade,
she submitted a visual arts called Blindness Kicks You In. And we have Christian Clark in the fifth grade uh who also submitted visual arts called I Belong by My Brother's Side. So, I just want to thank these students for participating in the program and really putting their best foot forward. Okay. And last but not least, Meadow Good evening everyone. My name is Ariadina and I'm a proud meal mom here to um present our um reflections awards to our students. Um I'm truly honored and excited um to stand before you today to recognize our incredibly talented scholars that we have at Meadow School. This year we had 18 students um submit an impressive 27 entries. Of those 27, four of them were Nassau region finalists. Um and we also received two awards of excellence in the
categories of photography and another in the visual arts um division. Okay. So, we would like to start um calling them up to come get their um certificate. Um we have Michaela McNeel with her piece being called Nobody's Perfect with the dance choreography. Michaela, are you here? Okay. Next up, we have Sultani Sansern, which was one of our NASA regional finalists. Next up, we would like to call Charlotte Friedman for her film production called My Moving Map of Belonging. We also want to recognize Ethan Singen with his piece titled Where I Stand Where I Stand Tall Throws in the Photo Photography Category, but he's not here today. We would also like to call Castton Brown for his piece named Naked Messy in the photography category. We would like to call Zay Clement for her piece in the visual arts category called

We would like to call Samuel Emmanuel Adier for his visual arts piece named Sea Beach Scenery. Also, Luke Matson for his piece titled 21 Days of Celebration in the visual arts category. We are so proud of the talented young artists and the stories they continue to share with the world. Thank you very much. Thank you. On behalf
of the board of education, I would like to congratulate all of our reflection participants. Let's give them a round of applause. We'll have an opportunity to re go and view the wonderful submissions, but I just wanted to comment on how this year the the talent was reflected in each submission. You saw the courage that each student took in performing and also um providing their their talents. just a true sense of connection of community. It was just displayed in each uh submission. So to our students, thank you again for reaffirming to us what it means to be to belong and to feel seen and to be heard. We also look at all of your powerful voices that came through through your artwork. So to our families and our PTA units, thank you for always fostering and
creating those spaces where our students could truly open up and express their talent. So thank you again. Another round of applause. So before we break into our um have refreshments and then have another opportunity to review the artwork, just wanted to uh point out if you'd like to ask a question or make a comment, please write it on the index card that's available at the back of the room and place them in the blue comment box. Okay? and the cards will be collected for questions and comments during that portion of the meeting. All right. So, we can proceed over to the room. >> Yeah. Five minutes >> and we'll take a a 10-minut break. >> Okay. Five to seven minute break. What? We are now in the portion of our um liaison reports. So we
will start with that. Does anyone have anything to report on? I I'll just quickly if I could. Um I was able to attend a couple of the spring concerts. They're always so um wonderful and inspiring and really remind us why we do what we do. And um there will also be a budget presentation at the next uh civic association meeting that I am the liaison to. And that's all. Thank you. Okay, Trusty Smith. >> No. >> Okay. All right. We'll move over to David. We know that everyone comes to be informed by David. >> Yes. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. Um kind of wish that all the other people were here. Um all the kids. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. I I mean it's my first time metal. It's pretty interesting. Finally, I'm checking that
one off the box. Um the biggest thing that we've done at the high school over the past few weeks, we did this just before um spring break started was we had our third superintendent advisory committee meeting. So students discussed um and presented pitches for the administration. They put together slideshows and they presented it for Mr. Minnella and Dr. Ta. And it's a big thing in helping students guide their feelings on what we should do in expanding the curriculum or evolving it. One of the big things that the students focused on was mentorship for younger students in multiple ways. Um, as you may know, we have our community circle program which at the middle in the high school takes away or adds a block of time for students to be centered in with their peers and
discuss things that are going on throughout the school. So, one thing that students focused on in their pitch was using that space to prepare for college and career readiness. So, that's something that we discussed including planning out month by month what can be focused on and what grade levels are experiencing. It's separated by grades. So freshman students might be given more information about their classes for future years or junior students would be given SAT preparation resources. That's something that was proposed as well as expanding our underassman to upperassman mentorship. That's something we've had at the school before. Um we did it two years ago at the high school exclusively. But one thing that students requested was maybe integrating middle school students and teaching them about opportunities so then they could work with those opportunities as
the months progress. career readiness workshops like résumés and digital profiles could also be implemented into that community service time. And the big thing about these presentations is that they were provided by students of all grades. So freshman, sophomore, juniors, and seniors all collaborated and work with each other. So some of them have never met each other otherwise. And this the first time they've been able to. So the program has served to strengthen the bond between students and show that all their ideas and their ideas have meaning. And it's doing pretty good things so far. And Mr. Now I'm wondering if you've sort of reflected on any of it and you if you have any comments on the matter. >> Yeah. >> So it was it was always wonderful meeting with uh the students on the
advisory uh committee. Um I especially enjoyed the presentation that David just spoke about regarding students opinion on how to reimagine the advisory slash community circle uh period. And um we already started taking some some action for next steps. So we spoke to Dr. Fansza about the mentoring component and she already started meeting with the students that did that presentation because we do do a peer-to-peer program already but definitely want to include those students in the redevelopment of that. Um and we're going to be meeting with the um young students who presented on the um reimagining of the advisory/ community circle period next. So it was it was really great. >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Perfect. That sounds great. Then the only other thing is that the school board member or student board member elections
are set to begin very soon. The applications are going to be going out. We have a student government meeting tomorrow. So I'll be speaking with students there and they'll all be submitted by the 24th. So we'll see who's next up on the position very very soon. David, >> thank you for that, David. >> We are now moving right along to the public comment portion of the meeting. Just a reminder that the comment uh portion is limited to residents, business owners, or employees of the Baldwin Union Free School District. So, out of courtesy and fairness to the rest of the audience, each person is limited to a maximum of three minutes and not to exceed a total of 30 minutes for this section. So again, we cannot comment on issues of personnel or individual students. Once
you have commented, please return to your seat after you ask your question. Okay? And always thank you for your respectful comments and questions. So I do have a question from Dr. Shireen Brown Frasier. Would you like to approach the podium with your question or comment? >> First time making a question in the setting. So why do I just ask it? Is that how it works? >> Yes. Oh, no problem. You did say can't ask questions about personnel, but it does relate to Brookside Elementary School. and just wondering um the fourth grade they have five three teachers fifth grade two and wondering about the possibility of having another fifth grade teacher to maintain the student teacher ratio and the effectiveness in the classroom so that was all the question wondering if there's a possibility to have
a an additional fifth grade teacher because historically Brookside did have a sixth grade and so by having three fourth grade having an additional fifth grade would create the balance and the ratio that was my question >> okay so we'll have um Superintendent Mella respond to that. Thank you for >> Thank you so much. >> It's a very thoughtful question. Thank you for asking. So, I'll give you a little bit about the process. So, um every year we start pretty early looking at enrollment and um estimated number of sections. Uh I can tell you that right now at Brookside um due to the enrollment there's no additional sections needed, but there's also no reduction in sections. So the ratio for class sizes isn't going to change. In other words, so if someone was teaching let's say
third grade this year, it's possible that they go to fourth grade or fifth grade another year because the overall ratio we're trying to maintain with K12 being as as small as we can uh to hit our goals and 345 is a little bit larger of course, right? Um as you saw maybe in the budget presentation, we're very proud of the the district's goal of small class sizes at elementary level. We have one of the lowest small class sizes in Esle County. So we um intend as long as the budget passes and successful to maintain that. Um so it is possible that fifth grade goes up to three and fourth grade goes down to two let's say just depending upon the ratio but the ratio is the key and that's what we're looking at. >> Thank
you again. >> Right. So, the board of education approves the personnel actions report dated April 15, 2026 as detailed in the mailing. >> So moved. >> Moved by Mrs. Kohl's. >> Seconded by Miss Mrs. Dresca. And whereas the budgets of fiscally independent school districts are approved by the citizens of the communities that they serve. And whereas charter schools divert public
funds from all public school districts that have resident students attending charter schools. And whereas the diversion of public funds adversely impacts the budgets of all school districts that have resident children attending charter schools. And whereas charter school expenditures are not overseen by an elected school board that is accountable to the public. And whereas charter school budgets are not approved by school districts or the citizens of the affected communities. And whereas charter schools are routinely permitted to open even where though they do not have the approval of voters of impacted communities. And therefore, be it therefore be it resolved that Baldwin School District advocates for a legislation requiring all charter applications to be approved by the local voters of impacted communities prior to submission to the relevant state chartering entity. 052Kohl's. All those in favor? >> I. Any opposed? Motion carries. Be it resolved that upon the recommendation of the superintendent of schools, the board of education approves the pay rate increase as legally required for election workers contracted to work the annual school budget vote and election. This rate increase is due to the change in New York state minimum wage. Election inspectors get $16 um50 per hour. The chair and poll coordinators make $18.50 per hour >> be 17 not $1650. >> Okay. So a correction it would be $17. Is that correct? >> Inspectors >> for the election inspectors and it would be $19 for the chair and poll coordinators. Okay. So that's noted on my copy. Okay. 053I Any opposed? No. Motion carries. Be it resolved that upon the recommendation of the superintendent of schools, the board of education approves the list of days of religious observances for the 2026 2027 school year as part of the policy and procedures relative to days of religious observances as detailed in the Friday mailing. Moved by Mrs. Smith. >> Seconded by Mrs. Kohl's a question. What are we approving that we accept those days? Like do we really have a choice? >> So approving those days allows us to in the event um we fall below a certain attendance threshold. State that requires 95% daily attendance threshold. So we fall below attendance on one of those days which might happen if students are observing and families are observing we could uh do an appeal for that 95%. So it's
important to note that for that reason and it's also important to note because if students are absent on a religious holiday they don't get penalized when you work missed etc. So we want to make sure that's documented. >> Okay. Well we could appeal >> for state ed. Um yes. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Do we move back? What was that? This we did. Okay. >> Okay. Did we >> new business? >> Yeah. >> Yes. Okay. >> Go through the posties. >> Yes, we are. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, does everyone have a copy? >> Do you have a copy? going to look at. >> Okay. 055under new business, we're discussing the Nassau Bosey's board of election uh board of education election um candidates and we have three seats that are available and we have four candidates for that election. So, we're just going to review the um literature that was sent by each candidate. So, we have two. Just to note, there are two incumbents. >> Two or three. And can you say who they are in your >> Okay, sure. >> It's on that main one right there. Yeah, it says incumbent. >> Yes. So, the incumbent is Deborah Coats. >> Okay. >> And then the other incumbent is Lawrence Greenstein. >> Okay. >> Jean Espazito um >> incumbent >> is not an incumbent. She was nominated. Um, >> okay. >> So, she's running. And Douglas Pascarella. So, Gina Espazito is from Melvin. >>
Wait, sorry. Is Douglas an incumbent? >> No. So, we have only two incumbents. >> Two incumbents. >> Yes. Two incumbents. Um remind me of their uh what they do. Does it does it in that she had sent over? Does it show their role? What they will be responsible for? >> No, it doesn't. And Okay. So, just to review a few important dates per >> district. >> Yes. On May 15th, we have a computer-based testing window for the New York State um ELA math and science assessment. So, it's actually April 20th through May 15th. And that's that window of um what is that about a month? >> That's right. >> Couple weeks. And that's grades three through five. On April 21st, report cards are published to the portal for the third marking period for the high
school and middle school. On April 30th is a PTA sponsored candidates form if necessary. On May 2nd, we have the SAT and SAT2 exam. And on we see May 4th through May 11th, we have AP examinations.
