public for obvious reasons this is the district-wide plan and as you can see from the table of contents it covers everything evacuation procedure lockdown drills are not locked up bills actual lockdown lockouts shelters in place on occasion down threat guidelines so we list all the pieces that are involved in that we have added a school resource officer agreement as part of the safety plan and last year we added a section uh this student presents a mental health crisis while school so that piece is in there so the plan itself will be posted it is posted on the website now with mr barack's email address on there uh the public has 30 days to make comments or asking any questions here and then from there 30 days from now which will be either early july august

whatever the 30 days come out to be but we'll have the board approve the district plan and they're submitted to an estate ad via the website and the building plans we're going to have five next year with robert morris back on five year old safety plans they said those are not made available to the public obviously the judicial plan is and that's the status of the safety questions during that we'll move on then we'll uh keep the public comment period public comment period is open and mr brown and i will be looking for the comments and questions on the plan hearing that will make them make this we'll have atlantis approved and proud lodges okay okay thank you i need a motion to close the public hearing so what you made by mr eagle is

five week challenge and with which fifth grade and seventh grade had the most double dollars those two grades earned a popsicle party last week they had an opportunity to enjoy the nice weather and hang outside with their friends for a period they had a blast and students are still talking about the fun they have we have reset the ticket and are working on another five week challenge sixth and eighth grades will still have an opportunity to win a fun experience with their peers random double dollar drawings are also pulled weekly for a chance for students to earn a prize it pays to do the right thing at the table middle school and from john martin cannon i would like to give a shout out to sherry crumidy batavia middle school's fifth grade school counselor sherry

like a fun book and from jackson primary paula newman students in this mrs newman's classroom are broadening their emerging emergent writing experiences through a predictable chart writing process and response journals to shared reading the newest theme is about the ocean and the ocean animals a classroom book will be published red and a copy sent home and the last thing that was in my folder was great news on primary project from julie wazilowski i would like to give some good news to the board on behalf of our team david kent eric knapp and myself for getting our national certification last week we found out we earned our national certification at both john kennedy and jackson school our staff consultant from the children's institute had this to say about our team you all have much to be

proud of as you persevered with primary project and navigated through very unusual times you launched a new program stayed with it for three years with coveted challenges and staff changes on top of it all it has been an honor to work with such an amazing team i echo those words as i couldn't be more proud of our team of dedicated individuals that was from julie so great news everyone and i appreciate everyone taking the time to send in the good news so that the board gets to know all of you better and know what's going on in your schools thank you so much the next item on the agenda is presentations and we have the first one dress code up update mr paul kessler well good evening everyone i have here with me julia petrie

who is actually the student ex officio for the 2223 school year so you get to know her a little bit tonight so i presented back about probably three months ago with some students about piloting hats and hoods and some students that wanted to give some feedback in terms of our dress code and such and so julie's going to give an update on that my assistant principal mr hussein met with a group of students several times to kind of get some feedback as we went through it as we look look through that and i've gotten some staff feedback as well that we'll we'll share tonight um and before we get started i did want to uh just thank i know kylie tatarka is not here tonight um but uh just what a great job she did

as a student ex officio and um i know that you'll really enjoy uh working with julia this next year we're also going to have zanala hatcher with us tonight to help with the presentation as many of you know zanala just won state the state championship for throwing incredible um and so zanala is actually traveling to a nationals tournament i think as we speak so she told me she had to bow out tonight but she was going to be part of she was part of the small group team giving feedback so i want to acknowledge her participation as well so i'm going to go to our first slide and and julia's going to share just a little bit about julia she'll do a better job than me um just some of the the goals uh and

discussion that happened at those dress code committee meetings so yeah we started out taking a look at the current dress code that we have and then we realized that it was a little bit gender biased some things and just overall a little bit much especially for now and all the changes we've been through as a society and community so we wanted to take a look at that and just see if there were any ways we could talk about it and discuss things that maybe we thought could be said different or worded different so they're not as targeted at certain students all right and so um along with that right you have discussion about uh hats and hoods and such uh simultaneous to that um we've we've gotten some recommendations uh from our attorney for the

code of conduct committee to look at this summer and so in conjunction with the feedback from the students we'll be looking at their recommendations in terms of uh language and actually a lot of a lot of the language that they're recommending coincides with uh some of the feedback that the students had um and so we're just going to move to our next slide i think we are anyways there we go all right and so we uh we told you we'd give give you an update on how hats and hoods went um so julie i'll just have you share the student perspective on that students yeah we had a great response to it honestly walking around the halls i saw less of a fight about it after we allowed the hat into the pilot like there

were more kids who like felt comfortable enough where they could or couldn't wear it it wasn't to like be defiant anymore it's just because it made them feel safe or it was more comforting to walk around the halls that they were having a bad day with their hood up and honestly i saw in classes around the halls less fights about it now that we got to do the pilot because as i said it's not kids feel that they can outdo it as like a privilege and they don't feel as if they're being forced to can or can't do something so in terms of the the staff uh survey 85 percent of the staff either was fine with it or strongly agree with it some of the feedback that julia gave um is that at times

it felt like that there was some unnecessary power struggles that were having over a student that was wearing an appropriate hat and what have you the one piece of feedback that we'll consider as we put this into place was a little bit of feedback on hoods overwhelmingly the the hats were viewed positively hoods were viewed positively by most people as well the the biggest concern is there's a few students that do try to like hide their their uh ear earbuds uh underneath the hood a little bit and so uh we're gonna make sure in terms of if we do move forward with that that the students understand um the the teacher still does have the right in the classroom to ask them to remove their hood um and if students are abusing that privilege you

know hiding earbuds or something like that um that will kind of revoke that privilege but it again it was really just a few students that we would have any issues with that on um you know i can i can say on behalf of myself and the assistant principals we really didn't see any uptick in terms of any distraction to the classroom or uh behaviors and to some degree it really became less of a distraction um because because there wasn't a focus in on that all right and potential follow-up and so uh allowance for hats and hoods uh for the 22-23 school year um that that will be our recommendation to uh the dress code committee this summer um editing language that appears gender specific a lot of the language uh now identifies a lot of

clothing items that the majority of them are female clothing items and so not only the students made recommendations but some of the recommendations that we're seeing from other language and code of conduct addresses that and then continue to allow the students to be part of giving us feedback as we go throughout the year so you know julia will be a senior next year but you know i look forward to her being part of that and you know some of the same students being on as well do you have any questions i think we're not going to be allowed to wear culottes anymore what nobody knows what they are what i do as far as i know about a cool eye i think you're good to wear it all right i don't know okay all right

all right i appreciate and we appreciate all the work you've done on this and it sounds like it's been successful yeah you know the kids are happier with it yeah you know we're good with that okay all right great thank you all right thank you so much okay i don't know there it is whatever you just did okay i didn't do anything somebody said was awesome the next presentation is the 2021-22 athletic department review mr michael brown thanks it seems like it's been a long time since i've been up here i think i did it at the beginning of last school year and now we're at the end of this school year so it's been probably a year and a half time um we had a great year it was good as we started in

covet and ended out of covid you know there was a lot of challenges that happened through the things and i'll talk a little bit more about that you can see what happened at our football games this year people came back it was a great environment if you were there you saw the rock band which became a big part of it we had a little halftime show where we did sweet carolina and all that so i think we really had a great connection with our community great connection with our parents and our students so that's the way we started the year um over here i'm going to show you a video let's see if i can touch it this was we were a spotlight school i don't know if you remember at the beginning of the

school where we came in at like 5 30 in the morning at six o'clock all the kids showed up and we were a highlight school on one of the tv stations in rochester so it was a lot of fun this is our crowd at 6 30 in the morning so that was a lot of fun we had a lot of people there it was it was a great experience i couldn't believe the turnout is 6 30 in the morning but it was it was a lot of fun for everybody in the community did a great highlight the people that came there said we were the by far the best community up to that point that they had seen do those things so we kept hearing that from a lot of people you've probably heard of

prime fi primetime 585 they also love coming here and doing stuff they feel like they've been treated well and we've been been a good host for them so they love being here so we had a lot of individual sectional champions as you heard we had a state champion every season we sent people to the state meet i don't want to mention individuals because i'll miss somebody but just talk about our team championships so our football team started out in the fall with the championship okay and then in the winter our boys track and field team um our girls finished a close second and then in the spring it turned it around where our girls tracking team field team won and our boys finished a close second you also have to know that like baseball finished

second softball finish second seemed like we were the bridesmaid for a lot of the things but just to get to championship games mean you're doing things really really well so i'm really proud of what our teams have done um these are the sports we offer i just want to show you that because it is pretty big one what we added this year was our winter program with a unified bowling program i know you saw that we won a district award for bringing that in i'm really looking forward to last year learned how to do it i think we can get better this year so we're going to we're gonna offer that again as you can see these are all the teams and programs that we have in our district we have 79 coaches that we

employ so you know it's it's a pretty big operation this is a screen that i love so through the years this is my 23rd year we started at 39 percent with student participation we've been as high as 57. with covid we dropped off a little bit but we were at 53 for this school year um i like this presentation now at this time of year by the way because i can talk about the entire school year and not just part of the school year so we have 53 of our kids in grades 7 through 12 that did at least one sport many of them do multiple sports how many did you do four you did for this right so you can that is even more people and this is uh oh great so over the

year i get this number for mr rosanski over the past 16 years we are 1.22 of the school budget so when people talk about what value you get i think 53 percent of our kids get a great value over a very small part of our budget i think it's money well spent um many other just multiple sports i've talked about the 39 this is the number of participants we had each season in grades 7 through 12 in the fall 336 and the winner 283 in the spring 314 that's how many kids we have going at any one time during those seasons um one of the things proud of is our survival of covid we only missed one sports season things look different if you remember a couple years ago we were in different seasons they

were short and there were all kinds of things going and we did things different maybe is not as many contests different times of the year but we were able to pull it off where we were able to hold every season but the spring of the march that it first happened we lost that other than that we were able to pull everything off through the years one of the things that we often get questions about is what are we doing with mergers you know incomplete teams combined teams why do we do it well for one of the reasons i'll give you an example is we increase the number of participants and it allows us to still hold that sport because we don't have as many participants and it decreases our expenses because we share them equally

with the other districts that we merge with the example is girls gymnastics you can see the people we combine with we've had up to ten last year we only had three or four so we wouldn't be able to offer that for our kids if we didn't combine with those other school districts so it permits us to do that with no increased expense to our district we talked a lot last year with the jv and varsity ice hockey had a great season looking forward to the future it seemed pretty seamless once we got there a lot of fun boys and girls swimming were great they won some championships we had individuals win championships we're combined with notre dame wrestling we've been very very good with attica and then we had lacrosse we had two kids from

notre dame one got hurt we ended up with one throughout the season so it wasn't a big merger but it did take place this is what i'm very proud of is our new york state scholar athlete teams 75 of the team has to be 90 or above in the fall we had seven out of nine winner nine out of nine in the spring seven out of seven now this is the crazy part about it we're our 23 teams that were scholar athletes 94.94 were their average that's pretty impressive and our teams that didn't make it their average was 88.06 so they're not far behind so if you look up here i would i would dare venture that our athletes have better grade point averages than the majority of the other kids in the school because

if you're looking at that that's that's pretty darn good for what they're doing and we're thinking about that they're out there practicing they're doing multiple sports you know we're trying we're trying to make sure that they're doing stuff academically as well so very proud of that um just some things going on the twitter account you know social media is taking off i do a lot of stuff on twitter right now i'm working with communications to be able to do instagram and facebook because i'm not hitting everybody so that's going to be before the next school year so we're bought into something called gipper it's a social media platform where it's going to look like i can do professional stuff so i'll put stuff in scores and pictures and it's all just where i insert it

so we're going to have that in there and when i do that it's going to be able to go to instagram facebook and twitter so it's pretty exciting we'll work on that this summer i'm excited about that you've heard about your enhanced security designated contest obviously with things in the world that's going on right now with crowds of 2000 people we feel it's important and jason has been a big advocate for being able to get some help at some of the games so we're going to try that at the football games and see where that leads but hopefully that will help us i can tell you that the guys that i worked with from armor security like last night with the flower city union game that we had here it's the same firm good people

they seem like they're going to do a decent job for us so i was able to see them already finally after two years we have the hall of fame going in again um this is the 19th annual we're going to be october 1st friday night we'll recognize everybody at the football game and then after the football game we'll have a little get together and then on saturday five o'clock social hours six o'clock and it's gonna be at batavia downs okay so we have a real good class going in including she's won a basketball team i can't remember what year it is but we're going to get a lot of people here that we think it's it's going to be an exciting time so we had a unified bowling alley talked about and this is something

i want you to be on your radar so there were some schools that added flag football for girls in the spring we didn't do that i wanted to see what it was going to look like first with the other schools there were probably about five or six schools in section five five or six in section six and what it is is it's a flag football program and they did it on saturdays i think the kids were pretty much dual sport athletes so they did another sport and then they tried the flag football you know it wasn't a full-time commitment but it was something that was added i don't know if we're gonna get a push for that or not just two weeks ago new york state approved wrestling for girls in the winter now they're

saying you know create a team if you want one if you have interest your boys coach can still be that coach until the program gets bigger so that's going to be coming down the road and whoops sorry how did i go backwards there we go so those are things that potentially are going to come at us the last thing i want to show you is and i showed people before but this is our web page this is how you get to our athletic information and any information you want or anybody asked for anything it's here um grin you probably i sent a letter out two days ago regarding fall sports and summer weightlifting opportunities so that went to all parents in the district one to all kids grades 6 through 11 that are going to

be in our district next year so that's where that letter is this is where our practice and game schedule is there's our handbook these are the scores of our contest that roll across here here's how we get to all of our our schedules you hit there and you go to the date it tells you what's going on in all of our different schedules so there's lots and lots of things that we can do off that website anything any information people want if they want to have their child moved up for app that's on there so just direct people to that any schedules around there all of those things and if you have any questions regarding that let me know and i can help you through that that's a summary any questions we have very dedicated

kids coaches and parents i mean they do a great job getting people to where they need to be oh i i didn't know if i could ask just possibilities at this point like they're flying football well it would have to be i would think the way most things have happened in this district it is a student initiated um you know order where they would ask is this something that we could do and if it is then we would normally do somewhere a sign up list to see if there really are people interested and then i would come back to the board of education to see if that's something that they would be interested in supporting yep thank you all right thanks evelyn thank you thank you the next item on the agenda is the table

city school district strategic plan dr molly i brought a few people who have been along with me on the process of creating the strategic plan it's really nice to see the culmination of a year and a half plus work we had many people come together and there i would like to introduce julie wazilowski you know julie is our social worker jess torre who was a first grade teacher who now is an administrator so she's really committed to helping us get better katie gratton same she's music who's an aspiring leader and jess corzilius who is also a teacher who is now a leader here and i want to thank all of them for coming they've been along the journey with starting with giving feedback in surveys and then they sat on some action planning teams and

continued on to the development of a plan the plan is you have a full copy of it in front of you and we're just going to give you some of the highlights everything is still documented on our website i'll show you that link at the end of the presentation we have the plan is on there but the entire process all the information from each step of the way is documented we're trying to be very transparent in the process so that you can see exactly where everything came from and we'll continue to add updates as we come back together in different ways to make sure that the plan is being executed the way we would like it to be go ahead julie's going to talk to you a little bit about our first goal okay well

our first goal is how we accomplish the creation well i i know probably everyone hates it if i read it all right so the first goal is how we accomplish the maintenance and creation of no creation and then maintenance of an environment where everyone feels welcome valued and empowered to achieve their maximum potential so i was really excited to be on this team because as you know this has been my mission since i started here in 1998 and it pretty much sums up what a social worker's role at a school and what community schools do so i was real excited so what we're gonna do and what our strategies are with goal number one are that you know we have a great team and then we're going to review existing procedures and protocols what's going

on at each building so some of us have been doing a year-long book study and some training and how to gather information that was part of it so we're using that too and we're going to find out what our stakeholders have to say and what we're doing on this is we might be doing surveys we might be doing town halls we're going to analyze any visible data and we're going to put aside our own unconscious biases about what we knows working when it might not be but um we're gonna we're gonna filter through all that and then we're gonna put into place the best practices in education we're gonna study we're gonna find out what they are find out where we're falling down where we're excelling and we're gonna put everything into place so that

people can feel safe in our schools it won't be a cookie cutter approach it'll be each school will be doing their own studies in their own research and then we'll find out in terms of equity diversity inclusion social emotional learning where we need to add so a couple a little bit of an example of that that kind of an example of maybe what it might look like in the future one example would be what the middle school did this year when they started they had their book study on bullying and they knew that that was something they needed to bring in i know barbara was there and she's been raving about it but just being uh listening really listening to what everyone's saying stakeholders are saying and then bringing them that whether it's programming or

or new initiatives and new ideas another example that we're working on right now molly and lindsay daly and lisa and myself and everybody at jackson we're we're being responsive to what the families told us about what they need as their children are entering school post covent about what they need to make their to have their children meet with success so instead we came up with our own ideas and then instead of just going on that we then did a survey with parents when they came in for kindergarten screening and for upk graduation and to find out you know what would you like what would you want so that's just a little snippet a little teaser about what it might look like okay thank you very much um mine was collaborative culture and articulate promote and

ensure a collaborative school culture that impacts the well-being of each school across the diverse population of students staff families in the community while educators at times work alone in their classrooms they should not operate independently the best way to improve an educational experience is by working together when staff works together it allows for them to build meaningful relationships with colleagues develop trust in a sense of belonging to something bigger this positively affects school culture which of course can can directly affect student learning collaboration helps cultivate creative ideas for teaching and learning collaboration helps teachers to dig deeper and to learn about who they are as learners and teachers as well as their students collaboration not only helps teachers but it helps it helps students as well strong collaboration and a collaborative culture helps develop over

time and requires a large commitment to the process allowing for common planning time and development of professional learning communities or we like to call them plcs are ways to build collaborative culture our professional learning community are ways to are a team of educators who share ideas and enhance their teaching practice and create learning environments where students can reach their full potential plcs allow for teacher to share their best practices allow them to brainstorm innovative ideas and ways to improve teaching and to drive student achievement plcs builds strong relationships between team members they allow for educators to have regular opportunities to learn from each other and to use our own district as ways to build professional development in job embedded professional development opportunities where they can go in and observe each other and see what's happening

in their classrooms and improve their own craft plcs allow for reflection and how to enhance teaching where varied viewpoints are allowed for added value so that was a little bit about collaborative culture and how we're going to be using professional learning communities in our classrooms goal 3 really grows out of goal 2 of having all those meetings and all that great collaboration so what's going to be the tangible evidence of that collaboration and that's providing clear and accessible curriculum so i like to think about everything in terms of music because i'm a music teacher and it's really having the opportunity to have those conversations and then document it in a way that's cohesive so i think about it all my students who play all these different instruments and they're learning and doing in silos but

then when it's time for the performance and our outreach piece to our community we bring all that together in a way that's transparent and it really is our narrative about taking what the board of education is charging us as teachers and all stakeholders to do and putting it in a place where everybody can see what the expectations are you know what we're teaching and learning so that there isn't a question or if there is a question there's a place where you can direct people to go each building at the next step of this is going to look at our multi-tiered system of support which is really just another level of opportunities to see we have all these great resources academic social emotional community and how does that all come together to do what's best for

kids so we're looking forward to the each building's revision of that and just kind of making sure that all those little pieces are coming together to have something that is you know large and accessible to everybody all right and in goal four we're looking to identify what is effective teaching and learning and what that looks like and so to do that we're going to develop a common toolbox around highly effective instructional strategies and with just keeping that strong focus on diversity equity and inclusion along the way so we're going to do this in a three strategy approach we're in the first part we're going to take a look at evaluating various models of effective instruction and then choosing which ones to actually practice in the classroom and then from there which ones we're going to

implement implement and infuse in our written curriculum and then we have some key benchmarks along the way so that we can progress monitor and make sure that we're sticking with that goal all right just to wrap things up they talked a little bit about the school planning teams the reality is the plan sounds great at a district level where it really comes to life is in each school the schools have to own what they're doing they're going to be using their shared decision making teams to come together and write goals based on our goals here in terms of what they mean for that school you know what it means to be safe and orderly at jackson might be a little bit different than at the middle school or the high school and you know if

we came up with just one thing it doesn't necessarily fit the environment by them having ownership with talking with stakeholders and using the information to carry it forward it'll just make it you know a very rich robust plan the district planning team will come together to share ideas around what's happening with that so that they can hear what's going on in each school and to to build on the great things so that as kids transition from one grade level to the next one school to the next there's continuity with what they're doing do you have any questions for us so next month you'll see two items you'll see the strategic plan for you to approve now along with that we hope to have with you a shared decision-making document that will guide the team process

that dr corey was just talking about so both of those items will be hopefully improvement by july after they were people moving forward with both the plan itself and the process to get us to the class and the process to get us to the planet will show decision-making to individual school which we're going to be kicking off the summer and early fall thank you thank you very much thank you sounds like you did a lot of work we appreciate it item on the agenda is board doc's presentation it's virtual mr drew where so it's not fair listen to the first programming so oh uh [Music] i know i had trouble presentation until the future sorry about that mr worm if so we'll go on to reports we have student of ex official report and it's

benedict yes and then lastly annual notice of district appointed genesee area health care plan board members i need a motion to accept this some of motion made by mrs bowman is there a second second happened by mr regal is there any discussion you see none you can call the vote mrs bowman yes mr rico yes this is anderson yes mr rowe yes mr morocci yes mrs benedict yes now we'll go under other reports discussion um brittany mrs whitcup and i signed paperwork for continued financing of the 2020 vision capital project with hodgson russ in on june 9 2022 we just wanted to let you know that we signed a ban anticipation note and it's only it's good for a year and it will be reviewed then to see if we want to go a different

way cereal cereal monster i've got someone's paying attention so we just wanted to let everybody know that we didn't sign that bond anticipation note for the for the district is the school resource officer discussion so interestingly there are some more comments on this we've had some dialogue on this video some of the memos i have passed on uh that writing tragedies that have happened i've done some research we currently have one school resource officer maya stevens she does a fantastic job we just have about 200 students with five buildings coming out a lot so i'd like to hear some thoughts comments looking at the possibility of adding a second school resource officer uh before i hear that i just want to talk about some context that happened prior plans uh prior to cola 19 to

add a second resource officer that was that plan was not implemented for various reasons bring this back to you again our districts smaller than batavia than a multiple school resource officer so i have engaged in very preliminary conversations with sean ivers and rachel at city council you know city college had some of those conversations so i'd like to hear some of the board members comments on that if you're interested uh both mr rosenstein and i uh president are possible from the resources as well all right go ahead and go ahead i think it's what we do i think it's good to find out how it's going to be fun for the public to hear um with our side district and and having the amount of buildings i know officer stevens is has a huge workload

that this will be very beneficial for her and for our district i think it's something that uh hopefully the rest of the board supports though so what's more about the financing i agree completely and yes we absolutely i just think that she spends the art resource officer spends a lot of time uh you know up at the high school in the middle school and it's not it's you know not that she doesn't want to be at the other two of the elementary in the middle um jk it's just that there isn't there's only so much time in the day and i i think we need another one to you know help cover those buildings you know take the pressure off of her i strongly agree are you agreeing okay so john asked about funding sources

so um you heard us last month talk about cover 19 funds we have preliminary budget we have preliminarily elected some of those funds to cover remote learning for next year in anticipation that we're still dealing with that that's obviously not the case anymore so i'm going to let scott speak on that as to how those funds are allocated and how we can reallocate them both with the gold fund and also to look into general operating budgets this is part of our plan that we submitted a year over the funds for phase three the uh funding about 200 000 a year was set aside for remote learning so we can reallocate those funds and put them towards the school resource officer and then work on phasing in that position into the general fund budget similarly what

we did to those other positions this year when we're trying to reduce from 1.62 down to one percent in the budget who follow that same process so the general fund budget is slowly incrementally increased to absorb that cost over the next two years the other piece that also john mentioned looking at at the perspective from the school resource officer she doesn't do a great job for us but she is very busy and she's used many many times throughout the day uh many times for very proactive reasons as you say as well so it's a large district for her to cover by herself so there's that side of the two in terms of her workload and again in strong context but that there has been talk at the district adding a second sro registry and the

survey of the districts in our you know in our region you know where i was the largest corner both see through at least two districts smaller than ours that had more than so initially the sro program when it was instituted the cost of it was shared by the city and they no longer do that does that mean that this sro and the new one are employees of the students they're not employed in the district um okay and then if this this you know goes on out and recommendation of contract where you can prove in august or july once that happens uh the chief will now start moving ahead very quickly on finding somebody to be the second customer so he has made it a priority for him and for us knowing that we have a

concern and he and i have already met at least once to talk about that the other piece too i'm working with my report in this additional training for staff looking at active shooter training in the fall um hybrid falls assistance with that so it's a two-chair approach we have trainer staff on how to respond and then also re-proactively having the second so in place does the chief think you have someone for you she said he would make a priority would they be specific to certain schools such you knew sro would you like yes that's your question so the plan is it was we have one here at one of the middle school we have one to be shared amongst the uh jackson robert morris and jack kennedy we would have a very small population in

rob morris but the plan would be to have one here one middle school military share or the other sro so the original plan was to have three three or four years ago i was thinking original plan was two i think the prime would be to have it uh sure between the high school and the middle school and then another one shared between the electricity because that's the question sorry about it that's the correct answer so if you want to share between both schools the high school you know school the other one at the other schools but that can be changed as needs change as well and the contract would be for a year yes we're currently out of contact with them what would be the next step next up we're going to have i'm hearing

the board's interest and doing this that the next step would be of course the contract um talk with the chief again and the city have a contract amended have been approved by both parties party and city council over the summer time i will make it a priority you have something for me in place if you want thank you thank you um that's it for the regular business i need a motion to enter into executive sessions large packet let's see oh stage 14 motion to go into executive session to discuss matters relating to the medical financial credit or employment history or a particular person or corporation or matters leading to the appointment employment promotion demotion discipline suspension dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation is there any discussion seeing none you can call the

vote mr eagle yes mr murrow yes mrs benedict yes mrs bowman yes yes this is anderson yes
