I'd like to call the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025. Uh, put a Princeton plan update. I just want to inform the community. Very exciting. We had our first two committee meetings with staff and teachers. uh we set uh goals and we set objectives
002and we're in the process of building the plan. Um when we have more information, we'll be sharing it at uh weekly board meetings and I will also be available uh once we have a draft set and talk to the community about it. So, I'm excited. We're off to a pretty good start. And uh that's it. Right. Thank you. Um, okay. 003be approved in a consent motion. Uh item uh item three recommendation of superintendent personnel schedules. Item 3A amendment to previous action. Amend the motion adopted as part of the consent agenda at the November 18th, 2025 regular board meeting to change the position and effective dates for Salvatore Puchio's appointment from permanent substitute teacher effective November 24th, 2025 to December 5th, to shortterm substitute teacher effective November 24th, 2025 to December 12th. 2025. Previous action recorded in in the November 18th, 2025 meeting minutes is hereby amended accordingly. Item 3B, resolution to appoint hearing officer. Be it resolved that the board of education of the East Rockaway Union Free School District hereby appoints Arthur Regal, Esquire to serve as hearing officer with respect to disciplinary charges brought against the employee named in confidential attachment A pursuant to civil service
004law 75. He had further resolved that the employee named in attachment A be suspended without pay for a period of 30 days following services of disciplinary charges on the employee pending hearing and determination of said charges. Item 3 C, schedule of additional assignments. Upon the recommendation of the superintendent, approve the following changes to instructional and non-instructional staff appointments. Kelly Kabaso, extra class assignment, effective date, November 14th, 2025. Francesca Chulo, extraclass assignment, effective date December 1st, 2025. Casey Lopez, afterchool support teacher aid, effective date, November 5th, 2025. Uh, item 3D, schedule of non-instructional appointments. Upon the recommendation of the superintendent, approve the appointment of the following non-instructional staff. Casey Lopez, teacher aid effective date, November 25th, 2025.
