Due notice of this meeting has been provided to the public and each member of the Board of Education as required by law. Tina, will you please take attendance? This is a time period designated for the public to address the Board on action items on the agenda or topics concerning the school district. Questions or comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. A maximum of 30 minutes will be set aside for public comment. This will allow the Board to complete the agenda, which often has personnel or time sensitive matters. Uh if I can just explain just for the public um folks that are would be listening is is that this session
003is really for the budget vote for uh and their Board of and their election uh for Board of Education Trustees. We had voted on this at the last meeting, but we were then notified that it has to take place today or tomorrow, right? So, um so for that reason we're just convening this meeting. Thank you for clarifying. Be it resolved that the Board of Education of the Garden City Union Free School District approves the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County proposed administrative operations budget for the 2026-2027 school year in the amount of 28,633,061. So moved. Second. All in favor? I. And then may I have a motion that the Board of Education approves the following resolution. Be it resolved that the Board of Education cast votes for Deborah Coates, Lawrence Greenstein, and Genie

No. We um have a future Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 12th, a work session at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden City High School. And then we have a regular session scheduled on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:30 p.m. also at the Garden City High School.
