001like the reason. >> All right, I'd like to call the regular meeting to order at 5:29 p.m. >> Gordon. Tim Han. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Max Kelly here. Jamie Wilson >> here. Sean Denorf >> here. James Cartwright >> here. Riley >> persons to address the board. We don't have any. Are we sorry to >> United States of America for it stands nation now person we don't have anybody presentation from the board we got a few stopw Would you guess >> right there? >> You don't have to stand. >> I don't have stand. Perfect. All right. My name is Jessica Mcnite. I am a supervisor with the probation department and stop DWI law enforcement and community outreach liaison. When probation inherited stopped DWI three years ago, it was a fractured program. In the last three years,

002we have been able to rebuild the program with countywide mockd DWI crashes and a countywide victim impact panel which have been very successful. Jennese Valley has been a large piece of this success and because of that we would like to recognize individuals with awards we are calling our outstanding service awards. These awards go to a group of individuals from Jennese Valley School. Chris Graham, Jeff Leveni, Jeff Babbitt, Kim Marciano, Don and Donna Slawson. These individuals have gone above and beyond to help make our mock crashes and victim impact panels so successful. From makeup to videography, photography, audiovisisual to [clears throat] the use of their facilities and to Chris listening to me bark orders. We greatly appreciate all of you guys all that they have done to help make Alageney County stop DWI so successful. And

003we do have certificates. I know Chris is the only one that's here. I can accept. >> You can accept down on their behalf. >> Oh, he practiced. >> Thank you. I did. I >> It came with a speech. So, >> buckle in. No, I'm just kidding. [laughter] >> Next, we have legislative. So, the legislative club, we have to um move that to next month um due to uh the adviser wasn't able to be here this evening. So, we're going to move that presentation to the February board meeting. >> Yes. So, then it leaves the foreign travel trip 11. >> Yay. That does. Okay. Should we stand up? Yes. Good. Let's do it. >> Okay. Go ahead. You start. >> Um my name is Dis Bra. I went on the Italy trip in November. Um, I

004was reallyful about it and we made a little video, guys, for you guys to watch. So, here you go. took picture. really good. >> They did a nice job on that. >> You can watch it again [laughter] for those that follow your presentation. >> Okay. All right. So, just one more little minute. You want to share anything here in person live? >> Um, for the back row that needs a volume, Jeff. >> Um, I'm just really glad that the school was able to like help us go cuz I probably won't be able to go to Italy ever again. And I think it was just really fun. So, Anthony, >> hi, my name's Anthony Mara. I this was my first time going to Europe and it was very different going and I like seeing all the

005culture differences between American and Italian and I really want to go again. >> Yeah, >> let's [clears throat] do it. Sounds great. I'm Sarah Horn, obviously. Thank you very much for supporting this trip um and supporting all the trips that I've done before. I've gone many, many times um overseas with students. This was my biggest group I've ever taken. And we have 38 people on this trip >> and it was amazing. It was wonderful. Thank you. It's hard to summarize as you know a whole experience really succinctly. But I'm passionate about connecting people who I love dearly here in this area with far away places and different cultures and different history and different architecture and just broadening people's horizons. So, thank you again. It's a great trip and we'll look forward to something sometime in

006the future hopefully. So, perfect. >> Thank you. Awesome. >> Thanks. Thanks. >> Must have saved a lot of popcorn. [clears throat] I'll >> second. Any questions, comments, concerns? All in favor? >> Now we're on to administrative reports. >> Oh. Have to hit share. right here. Sorry. Share button. All right. So, here is our January um admin presentation. I like this little cartoon. I like to put like little cartoons in there that I know Mr. Leveni would enjoy. So, this says, "Are you sure this is how we get data into the cloud with balloons?" So, the cloud has had a lot of issues lately. So, um, so, uh, this month I want to give you a couple updates. Um, the Smart Schools Bond Act. So, that's been a huge project. Um, and I put kudos up

007in the top because really kudos to Mr. Leveni, um, who has really managed this project in an amazing way. Um, this is an update that he provided, um, a couple weeks ago. Um, a lot of the things that were being done here in the district are complete. You may even notice the gentleman in the hallways tonight. They're pulling all the old wires from above the tiles. >> You wouldn't believe the piles of wires that are in the hallways every night. Um, the real thing that we're still waiting on is um, and Mr. Graham has been working really hard on the access controls um, that we need updated and the ordering. Um there was an issue with the ordering. Um POS that were submitted in October somehow didn't actually facilitate the ordering of the stuff. Um

008and Mr. Graham really took care of that last week. Um a couple people from Stark were here and um everything is rolling. Um there's going to be a lot of work that's done over February break. um the uh the final step of the data closets and we're also going to have our phones are all being replaced and there's because there's all new technology on the phones and a lot of that um scheduled on-site work is actually um starting this week but there's going to be a significant amount of work done over February break. So um this was a huge undertaking and we're really moving forward in a positive way. So I just wanted to share that real quick. The next thing um for today's presentation is about extracurricular. This is just some data um from

009an educational research website about how important it is for students to engage in extracurricular activities. um it adds so much um in reinforcing lessons in the classroom, their sense of engagement and attachment to school and can also just um really bring about equity in what we're offering to students. So this month the admin team wanted to share some data with you around how many students are actually participating in some extracurricular activities. So Miss Don, do you want to talk about this at all? >> Sure. So I emailed the faculty um class one up advisor and this is the information I got back. Um you'll see that NHS is just at four because we'll have new inductions in March. So that number will um will grow still this year and also trap club hasn't started yet.

010So that's the TBD. Um but currently this is the average number of people participating in each of these clubs. >> Yeah. And as you see on the side, it's 308 total students. Some of those students may be duplicates because they may be in more than one club, but that's a that's an amazing number of students who are taking advantage of a lot of the extracurriculars that we have to offer. So, we wanted to highlight that. The next thing we wanted to highlight was um how many students just from GV do we have participating in our United Sports with Belfast? Um, and as you can see, um, Miss Ryan gave me these numbers, and you can see up here is by sport. Um, so we have a total of 16, um, GB girls in basketball, um,

01127 in basketball, uh, boys basketball, five in volleyball, 16 in swimming, and 14 in cheer. And then she broke up the numbers by grade level. So, I just think it's really important that we keep in mind that um these sorts of sports and activities, they they really make a huge impact on our students. And so, I just wanted you to see what some of those numbers were. Any questions on those before we move to the next part of the presentation? Okay. So, the next part um is an update on some professional learning. Um so, Miss Roberts is going to come up and join me. This slide again I took um from uh it's actually uh an outreach program uh that's part of San Diego University about why we engage in professional development with our teachers.

012Um we want them to understand the changing educational landscape, narrow those skill gaps not only for their students but also for themselves, learn new technologies and assist colleagues. And now Miss Roberts is going to share some specific information about professional learning that we're here at GB. So I'll start with our center. We talked about this a little bit at the board retreat. Um we offer ELA and math for K. Um we had an interventionist meeting that usually meets with Sarah Taylor. Um and then uh the 9th through 12. So the K8 ELA math and the 9 through 12, we really look at our data from the previous school year. How did we do? Where are students at in terms of mastery of content? Where are they in terms of what they need moving forward? And

013so we collaborate, we review our data, teachers from different grade levels have opportunities to meet and discuss and share information. Um and then they use that data to revise their curriculum maps and their pacing guides. Um so we had pretty good turnout this year. And um for the opening professional development days um we had opening week August 26 and 27th and that's where everybody comes back after summer break and we just get right down to it. Um so we did offer training. IXL as you if you remember replaced I Ready. So we followed up with some training on this that was uh we had only one person missing from that training that was very well attended and we have more follow-ups throughout the year coming for that. Um, we had special ed department including our

014teacher aids. They had um opportunities for PD for meetings and such. And we did offer our CPI refresher training that's required annually. Um, Dr. Canard is certified, so she jumped right in and offered some help with the CPI training as well. Um, and then spring we had our staff development days. Um, fall. >> Fall. Yep. Not spring yet. Fall. October. So, Dr. Canard led the Jaguar journey. That was the most favorite of all the PD that we had on on those on that day. And, uh, she really set up a nice opportunity in the cafeteria where teachers could collaborate um, in their content areas and grade levels, special ed, special areas. Um and it was good conversation, good collaboration and they did ask for more of that. So we will re be revisiting that. Um

015we also gave teachers an opportunity to continue working on and complete their safe schools training which is mandated and the child abuse training that's all online. Um so we offered time during that um for those opportunities. We had many other trainings. Um, we had ACE trainings, special ed department meetings, we had CPR first aid training offered. So, a lot goes on um beyond what you see on the screen. And then for our March 13th professionals development day, um we have Dr. Canard will do our welcome as usual and we'll have that collaboration time. She's going to kind of um pick up where she left off with the last training and we'll continue some of that collaboration. Those were great conversations. We have an a mandated reporter training that has to be updated. Um that's required

016and so we have a presenter from CA Bosey's coming to do that for all of our staff and and Campo's going to come. I'm really excited about this. We're going to offer some wellness activities um beyond what we normally do. I always offer wellness activities but she's going to bring some new inventive ideas and presenters. We have some in-house presenters who've offered to share their knowledge for um people to choose from. So they have many options for that. And on all of those on all of those staff development days, teachers have time to collaborate with each other to complete work that they have to complete. So we try to give a wellbalanced well-rounded approach to the schedule for those. So, summer 2026, I have a lot on the schedule this summer. Um, so we're going

017to offer K8 math. We're going to focus on spirals. I talked about spiral reviews before. We have found through our data that kids can master something, but if they don't revisit it or repeat it or keep it fresh, they can lose ground. We see this in summer regression, which is why we do our summer academic program. Um, so we're going to focus on that and tier one instruction. Um, special education will have um IEP work, how to write IEPs, how to develop IEPs. Um, and that'll be preK12. I'm going out of order, sorry. Um, we'll have focus on data. Um, Ann Mitchell's coming in to work with us on data. Sarah Cartell, I'm really excited for this one. She's going to do phonics and heart words. Um, and we really want to focus on the

018phonics. We don't want to get lost um by moving too quickly. And phonics is an essential component to reading. So, we'll be focusing on that. Rob Griffith is coming for social studies, inquiry based social studies. We have the um Q's on the um regents and it just ties in with the writing work that we do. So, he's going to focus on that. Jessica Smith is going to work with us on building capacity and vocabulary. >> And Dr. Canard has a typo on vocabulary, so I'm not sure what that's >> Well, every year, every year when we look at our data, our kids struggle with vocabulary. And I think it's just the limited access that they have around this area um to move beyond their walls. And so, she's going to focus on instruction for vocabulary

019and how to build capacity. Lindsay Simpson, hopefully she's the only one that hasn't confirmed yet, is coming to do some science investigations work. You may have heard about the science investigations that are required by New York State. So, we've been working on those. Um, and Canva, we have offered Canva several times in the past. So, we're going to revisit that, bring someone to um offer Canva training. And then very important, ever since COVID in particular, we've seen an increase in students unable to self-regulate um due to trauma um and various other reasons. So, we're bringing in Kelly Forester to focus on self-regulation for preK through third grade students. >> And um Miss Roberts and I have worked really hard to already get all of these individuals scheduled for the summer so the dates are confirmed.

020So, our goal is really before February break to be able to give all the staff those dates so that they can do their own planning um around when they're available in the summer. Um I know we'll have additional things. Um but going back to the fact that when we use someone from CA Boseies from the instructional support services, we can get a reimbursement rate for individuals who attend summer PD. So, I really see this as a way for us to be able to offer additional PD without negatively impacting our budget as as we look at, you know, making sure that we're using our money in a fiscally responsible way. So, we're super excited to have these people already scheduled. So, any questions on any of that? >> Former Mark Carlos. >> Yes. >> I found

021one of his old business cards upstairs. I'm going to present it to >> Yeah. He had them all over the building before he left. We're still finding them years later. >> All right, Mrs. Taylor. [clears throat] >> You can go from back there. >> See that far? >> Um, okay. Updates from the elementary. Um, over this before Christmas break, we had a lot of holiday fun. Um, we had a lot of parties. There was a prek event that was a huge hit. Um, students did spirit days and there was a fun concert assembly and that was on the 19th of December. And the kids really enjoyed all of that. They always do enjoy >> that last week. >> That ugly sweater contest is hardest thing I've done all year is judge who was the ugliest

022sweater. >> Um, fourth grade. Um um if you notice if you look on the GB website or it's also on the PJ, they did um a Native American unit um and so they all completed a two-part project. The projects were displayed which is really cool. They do it every year. Um it's really neat to see all the things that the kids come up with. So there was a video if you guys want to see that. The other thing is Mrs. Bosler's third grade class actually wrote and created um artwork and um for their very own books which was really neat too. Um so they kind of all were published and so they had a few students make a video about that as well. So if you want to see that that's on the Facebook um

023character word of the month for January's acceptance. Um, and then this Thursday, the Alfred University women's basketball team is coming to read to students in a bunch of different classrooms. Um, I'm an alumni from there. So, their coach reached out and they need community service hours. So, I said, "Yeah, sure. Why not?" So, they'll be here on Thursday. So, that'll be fun for our kids, too. >> Yeah. >> And Miss Gland. [clears throat] >> So, the top picture there is our Scholastic Challenge teams. We took four teams to JCC last Friday the 9th um and competed in a new location. They changed things up this year and made it a weekday instead of a Saturday. Um and it went really well. The location they navigated that with little trouble and um I think that's probably

024how they'll do it moving forward since JCole and they have all that campus to to use. Um and then the bottom picture is uh Brett Luwendowski. He won the Jag Bull fantasy football competition um this year. That's a trophy. And then I just listed some upcoming dates. We have regent exams happening next week. Um and the 23rd is the end of the marking period. So first semester will be over next week. Um and then a couple dates for senior games. February 3rd is going to be boys volleyball here. And then varsity girls basketball and cheer is the same day at Belfast. And February 4, boys basketball is here at GB. [clears throat] >> I will never win the Jag Bowl because that fantasy football takes a lot of time. I missed a lot of deadlines.

025So, >> all right, that is the conclusion of the um [clears throat] admin presentation. >> Do you want you want to assume control everybody? I I can tell you didn't do a good job. >> Over on to board committee report. >> Nope, I wasn't there. >> That's right. You weren't. You want >> Neither was he? >> That's right. I was the only one that was there. >> What the there? you do that on >> it might have been there >> last time since December 16th. >> Um so we you know that's one of our committees that we meet kind of as a bigger group. I feel like we have a lot um you know more staff that comes too which is really beneficial for us to talk about um just safety in general and areas.

026We talked about um some of the you know decisions and uh decisions that were being made going to be made about entrances and exits for um the students beginning of the day at the end of the day um to try to make some changes to really uh have a one central area where everyone's kind of coming in in the morning. >> You talked about um safety concerns with the restrooms in the building. Um there's been some vandalism and some misuse of facilities that Mr. Graham and his um team have really been working hard on. And then we also talked about um that uh Officer Rounds um Mr. Graham and myself have been looking at different ballards that we could use um in the front of the building because there is so much open space that

027heaven forbid someone, you know, Yeah. drives in um and there's um you know harm done to students or staff. So, >> and then one of the things that's on the agenda tonight, we did also kind of will briefly discuss um Dr. Canard let us know what's going to be coming forward the cardiac arrest plan um that is >> I think it's a mandate now, right? But [clears throat] regardless, it's a good thing for there to be a plan put together um and incorporated into the safety plan. Is that correct? It's a separate plan. >> It's separate. Okay. Um and that is in regards to the DEAS >> DEA law. Yeah. A student that died in a school because there wasn't a plan in place for who knew where to find the AEDs and um to

028provide those life- saving um skills. So, it's a new requirement that we all have to have that. So, it's on the agenda tonight for approval of our first cardiac emergency. >> We have in the building. I'm just I'm curious. >> It's in the plan. I believe we have five >> in the building. >> Mhm. >> Six in the building. >> Six. >> We have two portables for >> 10 boxes. >> And then drills for that. Is there like a mandatory minimal number of drills or what is >> for the cardiac emergency response plan? We just have to make sure we have an annual training. Okay. Um, and any members, any person who's going to be named as a member of that committee or of that plan has to have their current CPR and AED certification.

029Um, so it'll be something that we'll start adding in annually, probably in opening day to just have that group be together and make sure they're all good for what um, the requirements are for the school year. >> Dr. Yep. >> Mr. Graham, is there any ballards that look halfway decent or they all bulky or haven't you looked into it yet? >> Uh the ones that Tori has uh kind of located and looked at. They're they're not bad. Um there's some, you know, that's just a basic block of concrete. There's some that have planters and then even just like the target balls, like balls you look at there. But with those two, you know, you you're drilling into concrete. You got to kind of anchor those into place a little bit more than you would a

030block of concrete. Um, yeah, there's there's decorative ones, textured faces and stuff like that. It's like any other similar to like a retaining wall block >> and of course like the >> run under like the capital project or something like that for the >> we could possibly look into what we have contingency wise in the capital project and run it through that. That's quite possible. But it's like anything else that fans you, you want something to look, it's going to cost you a little bit more. Um, >> I just say, yeah, it's the old things. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> This is agree. >> I think he's been in contact with certified traffic Jimmy Joyce. Um, he's been talking with them. Uh, Andover, I believe, put some in. So, he'd been in contact with Andover as

031well. But yeah, there's there prices that you know it's a guy's a limit for beg or something like that. >> Yeah, I mean I've been for the county looking at them for the county and the fairgrounds and it's not an easy process depending on what you're looking at. >> Yeah, absolutely. >> And they range from >> you can go from >> $500 to thousands of dollars. Yeah, >> I guess I just felt concerned how we would pull that out of our budget or we would pay, >> you know, and even even if you took a partial like you went, you know, this year we're going to do this section, this year we're going to do this section, but you know, it's definitely a possibility to look into with capital project funds. You know, that's definitely

032a possibility. >> Send you guys I don't know if the school if I it's critical infrastructure. I mean, Homeland Security had this the critical infrastructure grant program. >> Schools, I would have to guess, would qualify under that program. And there's money out there, you know, upwards of $50,000 that would help. I think I know I'm looking at it. >> Well, big tax. >> Yeah, would think that schools would be able to qualify under that. >> Yeah, I know. I'll I'll look into I have the information. I'll forward it on to you guys so you can look at it. >> Perfect. Thanks. >> Especially if you're updating the safety of >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's not it wasn't a it wasn't a discussion topic because we're doing it right away, but like as we think

033about even some of the safety protocols we've already put into place, right? Like the back doors are now locked. They're not open until 8:00 or 8:30, right? we're we're managing um you know with the new pickup and um for dismissal it's going to alleviate all of the crowding that's happening out front. So I think just these there are these things that we can just talk about as we just make sure that our campus is safe um because safety has always been a >> should always be our top priority. >> Amen. You know, I think it just putting that out there as a goal for the public that that's what we're working on. You know, safety big time. This is some of the issues that facing that we want to complete. >> All right. >> Any

034other uh committee reports? Athletic negotiations? >> That was the only committee that met. So, that's all right. Well, I guess that's it. Thank you, committees. Committee B. We'll move on to financial reports. Oh, financial reports. >> We don't have a chartreuse. >> Yeah. And I I brought my computer so I could answer any questions and my computer died. So, um you know that uh you had a standin board clerk this week. So, um, you will notice that there is not a separate motion for the warrants report separate from the treasures report, which is normal because that wasn't in my instruction manual that I had last week. So, um, >> thanks for coming in for me. >> You're Yep. It's it's all good. Um, so we do have your agency account um for, uh, December, uh,

035the warrants reports, the payroll account, the extracurricular activity accounts for two months. um that are all in your team's notebook. Um nothing of real um standout for any of those. Um the food services funds um and a couple of the other reports that you we would normally see, we'll be seeing those in a couple months when Miss Oander returns. Um I'll just address the second motion. So, we do need to do um a revised treasurer report for the agency account for the October and November. Um and I did um I did dig into what what is being revised just in case uh you were wondering. So the real thing happened in October when um there were some checks that were posted in one account but weren't posted on the internal system and therefore when they

036went to clear um they weren't visible in the invision system and then when the report was run it made the numbers off. >> So the uh October report is to take care of those checks that had to be posted. Um there was also a voided check from the ERS that was um a refund that was received from an overpayment of an employee loan and it sometimes it takes them multiple months for that refund to be um given to the district. So the the revised uh agency accounts are really just um a clerical posting error that occurred. It really doesn't change the numbers. It just um put everything out of alignment a little bit. >> That's all you're getting for me. >> Sounds good. >> Certainly Aaron, but you did a wonderful job. >> Thanks. >>

037I'll do better next month. >> All right. I need a motion to approve the treasures report. >> I'll move it. >> Second move. Motion backs with a second. Any questions, comments, concerns on that? All in favor? >> Opposed? Motion. >> I need a motion to approve the warrant. >> A motion. Any motion? >> Second. >> So a second. Questions, comments, concerns. All in favor? Oppos? If you look at your denim, there is also another number 11 should be added to that and your denim should go into your main agenda. Can I get a motion to approve the consent agenda? A motion. I'll >> second. Any questions? 10 minutes concern. Yeah. J doing the whole thing. Any other questions, comments, concerns? All in favor? >> Post it. One extension. I don't blame you. Don't boy it was a race but I think we don't. >>

043Okay, we got Tim with and machete. Any questions, comments, concerns on that? >> All in favor? >> I congratulations by the way. >> I need a motion to amend a motion. This changes the dates, right? Michelle. >> Yes, because she um >> came in earlier. >> Um five weeks shortly. Just to make sure we're good with all the panda with a motion. >> I'll second. Any questions, comments, concern on that? Yes, we did back. All in favor? Opposed? If you move to your agendas on I, we need a motion to appoint teacher a position to Dad Johnson. A motion with a motion. A second James with a second. 044to Stephanie Brownie second with a motion max with a second any questions comments concerning that all in favor >> I opposed >> I stated all right we got six days and one more extension. >> I will turn over theformational and discussions segment of this meeting to Dr. Canard. >> All right. So, um on your board agenda, there are a number of committee meetings coming up um uh this month into February, but remember we have uh on January 27th, so two weeks from tonight is a board of education work session only. So, please remember if you have any items that you would like on that agenda, um please send them to the board clerk um so we can get that meeting organized and um be really efficient that night. Um, a couple other just uhformational things

045I wanted to share with everyone. Um, the information was sent out yesterday to um, staff um, and went out to the public today about the new pickup that will start next Tuesday um, to try to just alleviate this congestion happening in the front of the building. And it's really becoming a safety concern with the number of families that are coming into the vestibule and kids running in front of buses and um just want to look and see if this new system will work so we can alleviate any um >> so drop off is working well. It's the pickup at the end of the day. >> Yeah. Because there's just so many people here at the same time, right? >> Yeah. So drop off procedures remain exactly as they are. It's going to be the pickup

046procedures that will change. Um I also just wanted to let you know that every five years we have to um submit to the state our technology plan and the draft of our technology plan for 26 through 2029 is due here in a couple weeks. Um I just wanted to share with you uh there's going to be a discussion we have an admin team meeting tomorrow but a couple of the goals um is to increase teacher utilization of instructional data to inform um lesson planning. Um, we want to develop, publish, and implement a K12 technology pathway. As we think about all these changes that are coming through New York inspires and uh the changes to graduation requirements and diploma requirements, it makes sense for us to start looking just internally at some of our course pathways

047to make sure they're suited the best to meet student needs. Um and the third goal is just around that ed law 2D which is all about compliance and um security of student information. So um we will have that plan submitted to New York State in time. And then I also just wanted to share with you some information I um received today when I went over to the Belmont um BOSIE Center for the annual presentation from the BoseI staff on the services they offer before we start looking at the Bosey's budget. Um last year we had 43 um Jennese Valley students enrolled in CTE programs and this year we're at 50. So I just wanted to share with you like how many of our students are participating in the um career and technical education programs offered

048at Boseies. And then they also shared that across the Boseies region, 45% of all 11th and 12th graders are taking part in some program that they offer there. So it says a lot about the importance of CTE and um it's really great that we have so many of our own students that are um participating. >> It's been going on 70, hasn't it? >> Our number is about 45%. I would think it'd be closer to things starting with Riley's class really starting going on as I mentioned. >> So, those were just a couple things I wanted to uh to share. The governor um did her state of the state address today. Um we're still waiting to get some pre preliminary state aid numbers. Um I do have a meeting set up uh next week or no

049two weeks from now to get um all of the budget projections from Eerie 1 Boseies um for next year where all of our technology that we get through Eerie Woosei. So um hopefully I'll have some more updates for you uh at the work session on January 27th um as information comes out about all that. That's it from me. Thanks. You want to open it up to 50 sky next Friday for our two you coming? >> I'm coming. >> Yep. So, uh, Mr. Graham, Mr. Weaver, and myself have been invited to come and tour the jail. We're going to make sure Mr. Weaver doesn't remain there when we leave. Um, and then there's also two MOAs that were in place in 2022 with um, the county that has been revisited by the district. The one MOA

050is for us if the if the jail ever had to be evacuated um to use our transportation to help evacuate. And then there was a second MOA that was >> seem to find >> that we can't no one can try to find that was uh the area of the district that could actually be used to house um the individuals from the county if there had to be an evacuation. So uh we're going over uh next week for a tour and then to have a discussion about updating those MOAs. >> Anybody wants to >> join us in >> You don't have to be there. happens and say you've lived there for the last 30 years. But yeah, just quick walk through tour, see what it's all about. We do pay I mean this district does pay

051for any juveniles that are housed to be educated. So it's one of the things we haven't probably had to do in a while seeing you can't house under 19. >> Um I don't think I don't foresee that being >> not anymore, but we used to a lot. >> Right. But let's raise the age. So, I don't think that's something that's going to be >> an issue. >> Yeah. So, if you want to join us tour, let us know. >> Have you actually seen the jail before? You've seen it once. You've seen it a million times >> inside. Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. >> It's interesting. >> I just got one little thing on theformational. I'm just going to touch on our conversational today with the Amish. >> Um, there was an Amish accident on 16. I

052think you guys realize it was a a buggy load of students. So the elders I guess they are contacted the town super know about maybe about school signs up there at their school. So I contacted Paige and said, you know, do we have any connection at all schools as far as GD? And and she said yes, we just haven't done it in five years. Um, but we are supposed to report on anything that's in our district schoolwise. So, with that little bit of knowledge, uh, I gave the superintendent the okay as far as using the schools, you know, as as a school sign just in case they fall back. I didn't think you guys would have any issue with that. The state or anything, but they just want to put some signs up there, yellow

053school signs to kind of slow people down a little bit. I know they can't cause county to open, put them on Lamont. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then >> there's still a school of pastor on the road. How does that >> There might be one. There was one on the PL. >> Okay. >> But Paige also received a call. She made contact with somebody that had contact with the elders and I think she's going to be working with that. I just wanted to get up and sign going with the school's not on the county road. >> No, the the accident happened on the county road, but Lamont comes right there. >> It was at >> just past the school's on road and it's a town road. So, they just like a school sign there. That's

054all I have. Anybody else have any information or discussion? >> Well, then I would entertain a motion to go into executive session. >> Motion with a motion. Second. All in favor? >> Well, thank you for all the visitors and Mr. Graham. be sure to deliver these tomorrow.
