001recommended motion to approve the revise October 17 2023 meeting agenda as presented any discussion all in favor any oppose motion carries Dr Morgan thank you uh first item on the agenda uh presentation on the school climate survey uh Nicole cap line and Alex Danon are presenting thank you hi I'm Nicole saine and the director of diversity equity and inclusion hi I'm Alex B I'm the director of data and we're here to present the findings from our 2023 School climate survey uh that was conducted in May uh the spring so let's all start us off if you want to go to the next slide so thank you all for coming out tonight uh this is my first time addressing board I started here in April so getting the opportunity to go over the survey and the

002data and see all the responses from the students faculty staff um and parents it was really helpful for me to learn about the community about the school district um and you know there were a lot of different things that the survey covered so three of the the major areas were uh engagement safety and environment um engagement was really about the relationships there were all different relationships built into the survey um it was students to students students to staff staff to Administration students to Administration parents to the district as a whole um to the parents to the building level administrators District level administrator so it really covered everybody in the community um covered topics on school participation through students parents whether they were coming to parent teacher conferences or open house things like that um safety

003covered all those different topics emotional safety physical safety bullying and cyber bullying teasing um substance abuse and then environment the instructional environment the environment Community Mental Health uh School dist so the survey touched on all these different things and we'll talk about them a little bit more so the the first thing that we noticed was the response rate we've had really great response throughout all the the different categories you can see the student responses there uh the elementary survey was only given to third graders so 95% of the third graders at K Hansen filled it out 92% uh at marbletown and then all the other grades were covered for the Intermediate School junior H and high school um so 85 93 and almost 80% total for for student responses and that's really important because the

004more responses you have the more valid the data is just like when you think about State Testing and state assessments if you have a higher refusal rate it kind of makes the the data less valid um and less reliable when you're thinking about how the scores turned out so it's the same for the survey information um in terms of parents and Guardians we had 57 more responses than last year um and 275 staff respondes so some of the areas of strength uh that we saw and I I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about the fact that uh we had a lot of help collecting this data and reviewing this data from Dr Nicole alato from Ala Consulting she was really invaluable to us and kind of going over everything and anal izing some of

005this stuff so some of the areas of strength that we saw all of these categories had over 90% agreement um again from students staff and parents and Guardians uh so students say that they have friends at school over 90% of our students identified that on the survey students say that there's a teacher or some adult that cares about them uh parents feel that they are welcome at the school that the staff are respectful to them um and that they feel comfortable requesting meetings which is important you know you want to be able to have that relationship with the community um if they have an issue where they want to speak to the teacher they need to feel comfortable doing that or or the building level administrator or the district level staff so uh it's another

006good strength for us so far uh the staff feel identified in their peers that they're that they saw they demonstrated care about every student um and that they go out of their way to help students our staff identified that in their peers and their co-workers um that was really important for us and each school has individual strengths and then this was just one of the quotes that was put down I feel good because I know most most teachers care about me in my field those are some of the areas of the strength and then I'm going to turn it over to co to go over some of the areas that need some improvement I'll just say you know this isn't in the data but I think another one of our strengths that I've seen so

007far this year is this is our second year of having really thorough uh investigation of this data at the staff level and so now that we're in the second year of doing that we're seeing really engagement amongst our staff really looking at this data and and trying to figure out what what have we done well where we've invested a lot of energy where have we improved and what do we still need to work on so it's really exciting to see staff leing into that data um and then we'll share with you in the end uh of the presentation more about how we're going to share this data out with the community as well so some areas of improvement that we've identified these are are kind of the top areas um bullying and harassment and student

008to student treatment showing respect for one another is an area that is of concern to us uh and this is I would say at all schools uh certainly we have more data as students get older um and then an example specifically reporting of uh racial and ethnic slurs on campus increased um as reported by all stakeholders students parents and staff so that's very concerning to us and I'll talk a little bit in a minute about the things that we've already done to address this one of the things that we don't know when we're looking at this data and we see an increase is whether that increase is a result of more of this happening or whether it's a result of we're doing education about it and therefore we're seeing greater reporting and recognition that it

009is blowing that it that things that they heard are racial EIC slurs so that's just something for us to monitor as we go and it could be uh something that we see as a trend for even more than a year you know the more that we're doing education we're going to see that go up a bit in reporting before we start to see it go down so that's a question that we have when we're looking at this data when we see these concerning increases another area for improvement uh we saw some questions about confidence in our system for addressing discipline fairly and consistently um across our schools as you know we just revised our district code of conduct this summer so again this data was in the spring and we we really feel that that

010revision will help to strengthen that consistency applied across all of our schools and within schools around how we're dealing with discipline we know that the code of conduct in it of itself isn't going to solve you know all of that but we think it's a good starting point and so one of the things that we're doing is we're hosting a number of question answer discussion sessions with staff at each of the schools to ensure that if they have questions they're getting their questions answered if they have concerns they have a space to voice those concerns and we're having real honest dialogue about how to ensure that that discipline is being handled consistently and fairly across all of our schools and then the fourth being channels of communication with staff parents and students there are a

011number of questions that indicated that this is an area that deserves our attention and really thinking about how do we strengthen communication and the good thing is the survey gives us some information about how we might do that so for example the parent survey ask parents how best do you like to receive communication um what are you most interested in learning more about how you know do you feel comfortable requesting meetings uh at your school with teachers or support staff or administrators uh so we have some data that gives us some Clues to how best to address the areas where there may be some communication challenges and then to to illustrate this point a student quote from one of our schools says I hear constant racism and other discriminatory language so we'd like to talk

012about our action plan at the district level to address some of these challenges sorry you don't mind so just on the third bullet here um just remind me the timing of the survey was it before the new phot of conduct was rolled out yes okay thank you yeah it was done in May uh so before I get into our action plan I wanted to talk a little bit about how we look at disaggregated data from our surveys and so to illustrate this point I wanted to talk about belonging because we have a question in the survey that says for students I feel that I belong and just to illustrate the point about belonging and you know this is something that as you know we have focused on for quite a while in our schools it's

013uh important for student well-being and self-esteem but we also know that there's extensive research about belonging and that shows that student sense of belonging increases attendance it increases graduation rates and It ultimately increases academic success so belonging is absolutely core to our mission as a school district um and and just to be clear it's not to be confused with fitting in so where fitting in is you feel like you have to act a certain way be a certain way dress a certain way to be accepted belonging is to be accepted for who you are as a human being as a person your identity without having to change who you are so overall the good news is students sense of belonging to their school increased in seven out of our 10 grade level survey so that's

014an area that we saw Improvement and we're really happy about that when we look at our disaggregated data however we see we want to know who are the students who still don't feel that they belong even when we have good numbers 90% we want to know who's that 10% that's left and and this isn't a 90% but just as an illustration so we are able to disaggregate all of our school climate survey data by a number of factors uh that we ask students questions about and when we start to look at that data which we've just received so we're just digging into it we have groups of students where we find a notable difference in their sense of well-being and belonging sorry belonging um and it's different for each School uh so we're digging into

015that data and we're looking at how this correlates with experiences of verbal and physical harassment not feeling represented in the curriculum um and feeling for safe P school so um hi thanks for this information so when we say overall student sense of belonging to their school increased in seven out of 10 grade levels are we talking one student 20 students 1% 10% do we have that number of what it increased yeah okay absolutely and um you can share that with the board at some point yes I I can share it with you the data has been shared I can tell you from this particular question in most of these grade levels it increased 10 or more percent there's some of those grade levels where it increased somewhere in the five to 10% uh of that

016grade bubble and bringing that to what percentage well it's different in each school but I can I can share with you example or I could provide that data to you in a summary yeah I would I would to know that because um the next question I have is some it says some of our students find a notable like so they're do they not feel like they belong they they're not finding that sense of belonging and if that's the case what is that percentage of students because I these are this this is the part that's concerning because this is the part that in that impacts people's life absolutely so I I want to know I and you know I as a board member I would like to know what that what that number looks like are

017we looking at 40% of our student body are we looking at 3% what are we looking at because we have an obligation to make sure these folks feel um a certain way and that's a positive belong sense of belonging we we agree and that's why we're so passionate about looking at this data and better understanding we want to Target our efforts so you know we don't want to just assume that belong increasing belonging means that we do X we want to deeply understand from our students what is going to make better for then so that we can continue to grow those numbers so yes thank you to build off of that not just for belonging but can the board have more detailed summary of the responses um I I just feel like the areas of

018improvement um and those areas of weakness is very generalized and very brief I would be interested to see more of the um a more detailed summary yes absolutely we uh I believe we sent out building reports but if you would like them summarized in a certain way we can ask our resarch that's what I okay thank you I appreciate that we'll be good so here are just some of our action steps at the district level I'll just say that each school is really working on action plans at the school level and I'm so excited to hear all of the different things that they each talking about I just want to represent some broad districtwide steps um our bullying prevention lessons this is this will be our second full year so all students received uh some

019bullying prevention lessons last year that helped to empower students to know the steps that they can take if they witness or see bullying or harassment so we're strengthening that program in our second year we're looking at what worked what didn't how do we really ensure the message and the skills are being um used by students and so one of the ways we're doing that is by building in student leader uh role in helping us deliver the lessons helping ensure that they're as relevant as possible uh dignity for all students act implementation so last year we had posters created in every school we ensured that our communication that goes out to families um and our education of everybody who works with students in our building staff bus drivers monitors uh administrators all have the information they

020need uh to follow Dasa to the law and ensure that we're really using it to make students as safe as possible our district Equity Council just started this spring um and they're starting back up again this month so we'll be exploring some of these questions with that group that includes students parents and staff so that we can get more input on what's really going to make a difference in these areas our cultur respons of and sustaining education staff training uh is getting started as well so that's where we train our staff in how to be a culture responsive as possible which is really about best practices in teaching and learning our Unity day is happening again this year for seventh and nth grade students uh last year it was also for seventh and nth grade

021students so that means we'll have a cohort of four years of students who received this immersive experience uh in a day that really starts to break down uh some of the barriers between students and look at what builds Community what breaks it down and how do we make a commitment to better understanding each other students uh we want to Moor and are monitoring our code of conduct implementation we're going to be looking at data we'll share that back out with you as well uh and specifically we're looking at developing a plan to educate students about the impact of racial slurs and other forms of bias based using and harassment we think we need to address this directly um and so we'll be gaining information from our stakeholders about how best to approach them and then

022I just wanted to share this was a visual that we created last year that I shared with you about these are all of the things that help to impact increasing a culture of belonging and decreasing bullying in our community it shows the green is what is completed or is currently being delivered the yellow is planning phase and so it's an updated version for this year the red shows some areas that we really focused on last year again I mentioned the P for all staff making sure all of our uh folks that work with our students deeply understand the reporting requirements involved when they witness something and how to intervene anti-bias education for all students we're starting that with the unity day as a as an experiential piece and we're going to be growing that um

023the buling prevention curriculum the code of conduct provision um and these are still areas that we're continuing to work on as a district so my hope is that by next year I bring this to you we have many more that are green and we're able to really show how these pieces have positively impact our school Community all right so to talk about the timeline a little bit um at the very tail end of the summer we started to get a lot of information back especially on the building level uh documents that you guys have seen or hopefully have seen um we started reviewing that towards the end of the summer um and in September meeting with some of the administrators to talk about what they saw what they noticed what they wondered um and then

024come up with a plan on how they were going to present that to their um to their staff so we kind of shared ideas on that and all the building principles really had a good grasp on how they wanted to do that now that they've done it this would be the second year that they've done it um so in September and October they've started to uh we we've started to receive the disaggregated survey data if you took all the information that we've received several hundreds of pages of of data uh so it does take quite a while to review it and then kind of like uh miss van van CLE brought up you know you start to look at okay went up 8% well 8% is four kids but 8% on this question could be

02520 kids so the more and more you start to look at it the the more questions come up and then you try to take that data to look compared to one of the other questions you know maybe students said this but faculty said that and it was a similar question so where's the disconnect or or you know we definitely see some growth in certain areas so it definitely takes a lot of time to review all of this and put it together and something that's easy to read and understandable and not completely overwhelmed that you's going to look at it um October um so far some of the principles have met with their staff and kind of gone over the survey what if the teacher see what do they have questions about and then worked on

026action plans what did we what do we want to focus on this year so we can uh try and improve the culture and climate in our in our schools um and that'll continue for any of the principles that haven't done that yet um into November uh hopefully by mid to end November the building level reports will be shared um with the public um and put on the district website so in full transparency um and then from November till June for the rest of the school year um buildings and administration will be working on implementing their action plan can I just make a comment on the timeline and first of all thank you I I think this is great work but when we think that the survey was done in May right and then we're not

027getting the information back to the administrative until September it's a pretty large gap right and then we also now think about implementing and monitoring action plans starting November from data from May right is your vision Nicole that we're going to try to kind of expedite these things a little bit going forward right so we're working off of more live data can take action and then expect you know true change by the end of the school year yeah we we're we keep talking and we would like to move up the the survey window a bit we don't want to move it up too drastically because we want to compare year to year and so uh so in 2021 it was delivered in June sorry 2022 2023 it was delivered in May so we'd like to move

028up that timeline so that we can have a greater window of planning end of year or summer and and really be able to hit the ground running um we want staff to be able to view this data and develop action plans before it goes out to the public so that they can speak honestly about what they're doing about it and not just you know get the immediate reaction without having the plan in place so it's a it's a juggling act and I could say that you know many school districts don't publicize their their data at all we we've made a commitment as a district to be really transparent we believe that we're going to get greater engagement from our stakeholders by doing that but but I agree I think figuring out ways to tighten up

029that timeline would be advantageous now we have a data director that might help us to figure out how we can expedite some of the processes involved in crunching the data for us great and that was some of the feedback in the meeting with the principal they all wanted to to move the survey up a little bit um and I think by doing that it'll give us more time hopefully to get the results over the summer so we can have those initial meetings as an administrative team over the summer um so when we hit the ground running be long compensate at the beginning of the year they can really push it out to the staff and get the feedback and reaction PL place soon great thank you um so so alignment with the district strategy uh

030strategic plan goals um I'm not going to read them all out sure you're all very well aware of them but the survey does cover all these different areas um student achievement the climate and culture um I I'm a coach the culture is very important to me I think if we can continue to work on our culture it'll enhance the educational experience for all our students and our staff um so we're just keeping in line with the strategic planning and goals and similarly on the next slide it talks about the professional development priority so again the survey covers certainly covers all four of these categories um and as the data Guide the data driven decision making is important to me um just things that we're keeping in mind as we work on this keep things in

031line with what we're hoping for pushing forward any questions just one you guys did a great job job this look really significant it looks like we've really dug down deep and uh this is very meaningful for us so thank you thanate thank you next next item on the agenda uh the corrective action plan approval recommended motion the Board of Education approved corrective action plan uh for the office of New York State Controller as presented I'll make the motion second any discussion all in favor I any oppos carries you great uh recommended motion that the Board of Education approve warrant number six number seven and number eight as presented I'll make the motion any discussion all in favor I oppos motion carries a first reading policy 2382 broadcasting and recording of board meetings a quick note

032on that uh we're going to have to change the order of these because when we report on what we've done for policy you've already you know talked about it maybe in the future we can figure out some way to do that but anyway uh policy committee had met on the 26 uh we're bringing this to the board for the first reading so have an opportunity to look at it and then we'll come back to final approval next month great thank you any comments for policy committee on this they seem pretty minor changes okay first reading policy 010 non-discrimination and equal [Music] opportunity any comments on this one okay moving on to public comment is there anyone who wants to make public comment tonight so sorry um we haven't had public comment in a while so

033thank you by the way it's great to have public comment um just to go through some of the general um rules so you'll have three minutes um we'd ask that you don't use any staff members names right any any individual names um anything else I'm missing oh if we can just have name as well please so we can great thank you the podium is yours um I guess last month I read the blueone press that you guys were looking at bringing fourth grade back Elementary School and voice my support I guess you're doing an audit but my son is in first grade and I think like when I first had him we aters and like hearing people talking about having their fourth graders going to Intermediate School that me and as I was talking to

034my parents at little kids they were GS as well so I would love to see some in that great thank you and we don't respond by the way the public comment however there will be a topic that we will Dr Morin will give an update on um in about three agenda items below public comment so you'll hear a little bit more but we won't have the direct communication or back and forth um VI any questions any other public comment tonight thank you very much appreciate I want to say that we are all parents we're all here to hear about that we've been talking ourselves there's a big number first graders second graders that defitely we support and about great thank you for coming anyone else hi I'm experience grade you're still a bus situation with

035so on but with the bus situation I understand that there's some numbers and Analysis and you look at as far as population numbers and I knowas population numbers of the move to the middle school but I just wanted to know if those numbers have been you I know that the kindergarten first graded 22 um kids P per class know that's a increase in population so I didn't know there was a curve or an increase for the lower element degrees because know prid your PL will that um move the situation up as far as population goes once opers if we were to move them back we have the space and I you know I Spen some people in the school there's not enough space but have we thought about other things as mobile uh classrooms or

036U different different spaces to to bring that back if thank you you one more any other comment great well thank you for coming it's great to hear commun Community feedback and like I said we'll be touching upon this a little bit very brief up to um in about two agenda agenda topics [Music] um okay so actually we can talk upon it now we don't have any administrator up uh update so um thank you by the way we did bring this up as a board um we also have been hearing things about from the community right and we also all have kids um in this District as well at least most of us still do um and we did bring in our last board meeting requested Dr Morgan and his team to kickart a feasibility assessment

037um so essentially what this means is is it even an option right and I think just to set the expectations here this is not something that we can take lightly and just jump into right as a board we want to make sure that we're following the proper process um we're investing the right amount of time into a move that that is this big um and what does that mean Dr Morgan will be giving us an update but I want to let you all know that we are certainly supportive of this um if it turns out that it's feasible right I think there's a lot of different pieces involved um and we will be exploring all of those Avenues as we commity to move forward so Dr Mor would you mind sure um so as uh

038Chris said we we started some preliminary conversations uh meeting with the principls having conversations about there's a number of considerations we have to look at so initially uh we'll have to look at Staffing we have shared we have shared staff music PE also uh art so there's also bus routing as you mentioned we need to look at the bus routing we need to look at building capacity so there there are a lot of um there's a lot of data we need to look at and crunch also there's an SED requirement that we give prior notice the year before we make the move to change a building configuration so right now as I said we're in preliminary conversations uh we will recommend to the board that we put together a committee um and so this will

039not happen in the 2425 school year because we have to give s a prior year notice this would be out another year so that's that's where we are and this pack has been very involved in in looking at it and pulling together the numbers so right now that's where we are and as I said we recommend we have a a committee that would pull together and we would break down you know enrollment projections building capacity involve closely involved the building current building principles any board questions on the current status I mean I know we just asked Joe to look into this what three weeks ago four weeks ago at our last meeting um it sounds like there is but potential that this could be an option um but there's obviously still a lot more work

040that needs to be done um to do a true feasibility assessment can I can I just just emphasize what Joe was saying um and just to make sure that the public understands we have to go through the process so by Dr Morgan saying you know this is not this is not going to be for the 24 or 25 school year at the earliest the following if it is feasible it's not we're not saying that it's going to happen we have to go through the process and take a look at all of the data and form this committee so I don't I don't want people jumping the gun saying that it's going to happen and start spreading that word that's not the case we have to make sure we're doing the data and researching it correctly

041thank you Nicole um for the committee who's gonna what stakeholders are including how is that going to be formed I I would recommend if we have a a board member to to volunteer to sit on the committee also of course the building principles if there could be a PTA rep uh from each of the buildings that would be very helpful and also uh this pack the assistant superintendence because we also need to look at program we need to look at curriculum we will need to take a a at least a 10,000 foot view before we dive down and get granular with what it looks like so it'll be a combination so that's what I'd like to recommend board member PTA members parents and also Administration with the uh building principles maybe just consideration some teachers

042yes thank you Jo so when when are you anticipating we're going to form this committee are we going to is this immediate or I'd like to I'd like to start as sooner than later because there is a lot of information so by the by the end of the year committee start great by the end of the year by the end of this December before December calar year calendar year not school year yeah because we'll also I mean we will need to to include facilities director and we'll also need to include Transportation because that's something else we we're going to look at so there's a lot of lot of scope and then map out so the first meeting we anticipate that we will map out what data we will look at over the next 12 to

043months okay is spe that construction as well if there's a need for construction reconstruction any other board questions comments on this topic I just want to say thank you for looking into it I think um if it's something that's feasible it really will be worthwhile I know it's a lot of work I appreciate it yeah thank you Joe uh board time and committee reports Lucy okay well sub committee REM met at o' tonight basically cap order the program she [Music] presented the equity Council their next next meeting is 25th and 25 District district one and that's for parents guard and staff students the other thing is tomorrow night is the B's um board meeting and we're going over still that the new program for the um uh teacher assistant to possibly become a teacher with

044with the grant they received so I'm get some more information on that and on 20 6 to 28th I'm going to be part of the v's U people going to the New York City Schoolboard Association Convention Buffalo so I can bring back some more information from there on updates on educational law and awesome thanks L um and set dates I'm not even what the name of oure is orte yeah curte um we met and we're having a meeting Thursday at um discuss our set UPC thank you piggy back off of that we're going to be reviewing our state testing data uh from last year at this meeting and we're going to be developing goals around construction or hopefully for the board's consideration for our overall form great thanks so I don't have a committee updates

045but I do want to thank um everyone for the climate survey I know that it's very challenging to talk about these uncomfortable topics and really dig in and make changes so I wanted thank the administration the staff and the students for being open to just facing all of that and us getting better so thank you thanks Christine The District Health and Wellness committee met on September 20th we talked about our committee goals our future meeting dates after school apples and carrots and our meal program updates our next meeting is on November 8th at 5 par we do them VI Zoom so and I just want to say how much I love to see the room f with people and I think it's so important that you use your voice when you have something to say

046and also the students it's really great to see all the students here so thank you everybody for coming no [Laughter] problem couple things U first of all I was going to think I didn't realize there was so much interest in board meeting and I expect a read to report someplace our evaluation uh our policy uh committee we met on the 26 we mentioned earlier uh but we also developed two goals that we want to present to the board I think Lisa are you ready for hour bring next month okay so they're so we have two goals that we've decided on uh or we'll bring you to the board for your approval and our next meeting will be 10:23 5:30 Christine and I and Lisa will meet in this room to discuss uh a particular one

047on the board organization meeting we have an annual meeting that we talk about the board organization but we're recommending a policy that will log that into more specifics we'll bring that forward next month uh as far as the the other committee that I am chairing and that's the superintendent search have a little bit of information to share on that uh first of all Deb really needs to be thanked because she had a marathon day on October 4th and on that day she organized a number of meetings and I'll just list them at 10 o'clock all the high school students had an opportunity to meet with the Consultants to talk about what they believed uh the next superintendent's qualities and attribut should be uh they were given four questions and they're kind of generic but it

048created an opportunity to to share some feelings without getting um too off the week so everyone who was involved in it were asked the same four questions the 11 o'cl the Education Foundation had an opportunity to meet and all these were in this room except for the community uh meeting which would be was in the auditorium 12:00 the CSEA had an opportunity to meet 3:00 the teachers units met 4:00 management confidential had their opportunity and six to eight was the community involvement where anyone in the community were invited to come and share some feelings on it again the same four questions were were asked uh yesterday the survey closed has been on our website now for about a month and a half and same four questions were asked and it's we'll be getting a report

049from the consultants in the next couple weeks and we'll obviously share that with everybody in the community so they they'll have an understanding of what the community thoughts were um on the website right now um the applications will close on November 16th but right now they're on seven different uh recruiting sites so as as well it's the national search it's not only New York State the region but it's an entire nation so they've really uh done a pretty good job putting that out and if you're interested I can give you the different sites to look at it it's basically the same information uh the board has worked with the Consultants to develop some kind of General criteria that'll get more specific when we get the information back from the community uh right now we are

050going to have bonly meetings with our committee and I have four tentative dates that I'm going to throw out and we're work with those debit will be November 1st November 21st December 12th and December 19th that'll be the search committee slash executive counsel if we get uh more people than the regular committee we can go into executive session so a lot of work to do the November 16 we'll be getting more information on the number of applicat and continue to keep the community involv process until we come out great thank you I have a I have a question so that um the the committee meetings because this is a closed search they aren't open to the public correct no no that's just Carn I have a few things with facilities yesterday we did meet with

051our cons Joe correct me if I say anything correct but just giving a just a very general update we met uh with uh in regards to the electric buses that we were granted and everything that has to go with that so really right now we're just in the process of our Consultants are just helping us by applying for more grants to help us with the infrastructure of um potentially having them here on campus so it's still um it's still a work in progress so as we have more to update we will share that um Joe I had a question for you uh I noticed today over at Marble Town we have this beautifully new be like cway you know like parking spots Y is there something we can do um along the grass I noticed

052a lot of cars are still parking on grass um over and it's just it's I mean it's all nice new grass like we I don't know if we rope it off put some signs I don't know you know if Mr Davenport just wants to stand out there but you know it's I I drove by it today on my way here and it was a little we have this like new grass and I'm just throwing iPads everywhere we if we could just take a look at to have them not park on the grass and then um as a sports update I do have here from um coach Panic the golf team has won the Mahal Division and they took home the league tournament and apparently that hasn't happened since so um field hockey uh is making

053into the playoffs I know you know once again um I'm not sure when they play next but they're heading into playoffs and sectionals in the halls I guess and the boys soccer team also clinched a spot in the sections uh the junior high uh students as well as um many of the athletic teams had an opportunity to speak to Scott uh Fitch about social media college recruitment Pro uh process and um just being a good uh student athlete and a good person um and it was a lot of students really uh enjoyed uh his talk especially a lot of the athletic teams um that's it that's all I have great thank you um and see our apologies because you're like hidden I think I missed you last meeting as well but I want to make

054sure we give you the opportunity to give any updates let me get so the Juniors have decided their promise will wh this year and seniors are also contemplating having it in the same area just due to accessibility and um Range within our budget the 2024 class seniors have a Chipotle fundraiser on October 28th so all you would have to do is show up at Chipotle um say I'm here to support the class of 2024 and a partial bit of those profits go to the class of 2024 and that goes from 4 to 6 p.m. um um and I student Congress meeting we discussed how we have made from homecoming ticket sales we've made over $1,400 and with or it's like 1,421 we're not entirely sure that extra $1 made around $600 in snack sales and
