Make sure I got that tight tie right to remove from group one of the supplemental salary contracts. >> Do I have a

second? Should I read that again? Okay. Um the motion from the floor is for anou to remove the um supplemental for the FFA category. Um any discussion? Roll call, please. >> Mrs. Song, >> yes. >> Dr. Yes. >> Mr. Har. >> Yes. >> Mr. >> Yes. Mrs. >> Yes. Item E approve to wave all pay to participate fees, school fees, book fees, and class fees with the exception of class fees for the 2627 academic year. Do I have a motion? >> Robin moves. Second discussion. I think one of the things that needs to be noted is that in the the times that we're in right now, um that's one of the places that a lot of districts are going back to and for this board to still make the decision to wave those fees. >>

Mrs. Yes. Mr. >> Yes. >> Dr. Yes, >> Mr. Sharp. >> Yes, >> Mrs. Yes. Item F is to approve a satellite program unit agreement with East Link Fairfield CTC for 2627. Do I have any motion discussion? Um so as I stated before um this is to expand access to FFA or a related courses particularly in middle school um through the strategic planning process. We've heard numerous times from uh students and parents um the expanding access to a lack of excited to say in the middle grades it's important to them. So that's where bringing this in will meet that need that was identified. I think Mrs. Copper and Mr. Dennis are excited to expand some of the opportunities for our students. >> Dr. Mrs. >> Yes. >> Mr. >> Yes. >> Mr. Clark. >> Yes.

>> Mr. >> Yes. Item G to approve the agreement with Pathways Behavior Health LLC to 2627 attachment. I have a motion move. >> Great. Item I is to approve staff leave without pay. Um, as those listed, do I

have a motion? >> Greg, Dr. Discussion. I just discussed which I don't want to talk about anybody that's on the list that's private. Do we have a cap on how much leave without pay somebody can take before do we have any type of um >> there is >> about how like it has to be asked for so much in advance or are there any stipulations on leave without pay >> just for example where I come from a manager can approve 16 hours of duty without pay and then after that it has to The only thing that >> we can do. Yes, we can >> we can intervene from a discipline perspective or leave without pay. A staff member has the ability to request um leave without pay that shall be granted >> if it's for

personal medical. A higher advice allows public employees specifically teaches um up to a year of >> Oh, yeah. That's a medical difference. I'm just talking about taking the extra days for whatever reason on that or kind of notice or >> if it's not if it's No, the only thing that's there can be discipline with about that. Um clarify for all of us. Um, roll call, please. >> Mr. N. >> Yes. >> Dr. Buckley. >> Mrs. Song. >> Yes. >> Mr. >> Yes. >> And Mrs. >> Yes. Item 10 is a board discussion um food service provision two. >> Um, I just wanted to have a brief discussion. Um as you know last year or this year at the end of this year we started the committee program which provides um meals at no cost to

all students. Um we reimbured based upon u unlike CP um CDP is based upon direct certification numbers. Um, provision two allows for those who count and also families to fill out the traditional free applications that may not be on um some sort of direct directation like child some public assistance like that. Um so it it expands. What we found is that um there were provision two was the better choice of the two for us to go with. Um of course that does come as a cost to the district um because then there's what we would typically receive for paid students. We're not receiving um funds from the state or that we're very limited amount of funds from the state. So um we've worked this year um Mrs. Fair job has Mr. Fairchild has provided reports

monthly for the past few months that Mrs. um can has reviewed and we've made some modifications with what's being ordered and just some just some different modifications to try to streamline some of the cost of that. Um we are falling more in in line with what our reimbursements are. we're getting closer to that break even at one point for a while. We're kind of on a trajectory where we were going to be um quite a bit deficit with with resources. So, I think we're starting to pull that making some adjustments um and pulling that back closer. I think we're on track, but we will still need to do a transfer. So um yes this year a master's job of understanding the inputs and the outputs of each service to get us a 94 degree. Um

we will probably be in the 200,000 range of transfer which is done for quite a while. Um there is some postcoavid effect still on this because during COVID the federal government we were reimbursed at such a high rate that services across the state were all flushed with money. Um so we did that um and now we're actually working to then maintain over the last few months. Um Mrs. Deerfield has definitely turned things around. We are relatively break even or a little to the positive region where she's she's got those numbers back in line. Um the the question is going to be as we go into fiscal year 27 are we going to provision is is going to realize that we are going to have a transfer year to year. I think now we've exemptions for

over $30,000 a month that we were not that revenue cafeter is that would you say were total in the positive is that counting from the plus some of the so that is counting all the expenses that's contributed to the fund on the cash summary report right now to date the fund balance is one negative 171,000 change um so I think May service is a little different between June and July we won't have that expenses um research set and that usually starts a little bit um I believe that I'll be judging about 100,000 in um kind of the thought process before the income tax what relief can you provide the families um because we receive these additional funds um and that was something you know to me $100,000 reasonable when we were approaching like I'm not

sure that's something that you really wanted to buy out but these numbers are reasonable now I think I would recommend keeping at least one year out and free lunch is such an important part of education because it just a lot easier for our kids. And I know you probably have Are the kids participating? Are kids eating lunch? >> Our members are having >> or breakfast. >> So, so it's free breakfast. Yes. And Kim's done a good job of really identifying better. And so she's really worked hard to find good quality food. We'll take that before. I know we talked about that we could go after and before that you did not pursue >> that was for that was for the fresh fruits and vegetables. >> Okay. >> Um so that's an additional opportunity. So in

the afternoon that was in the primary elementary previously um they two years ago um they were given opportunities to try new fruits and vegetables. an afternoon that a cafeteria staff would cut up small pieces of various things that a lot of them had never tried before. >> Supplement it can't supplement this because that's a separate separate thing. So that's you're buying fresh fruits and vegetables for that particular program to provide essential snack in the afternoon. >> She does participate in a commodities program which um basically fruits and vegetables. Um we get a lot of fresh It does offset a lot but then typically you will spend down all of the money they allocate together. So that a lot of times when you're getting fresh then you have to pick it. So it's a little step

we get broccoli broccoli. >> You do that to your store. Did you do that last year? It wasn't available to us. >> She's looking at the availability, >> but I think that snack in the afternoon. >> They did. And they had some really cool different fruits and vegetables that they had never even eaten before. >> That's surprising. >> No, they love >> They're adventurous, I guess. >> Yes. Yeah, >> I think it's starfish fruit one time. Like it was it wasn't just your typical fruit either. >> Yeah, they had those too. >> It wasn't cooked, but I mean I think they >> Thank you for that information. Okay. Um, do I have a motion for going to forego the executive session that was on the agenda saying, "Hey, do that." Um, do I have a

motion for >> one second call, please? >> Mr. Principal, I'm assuming you're not going to be here next time, so again.
