Order roll. >> Dr. Buckley >> here. >> Mrs. Ftock >> here. >> Mrs. Song here. >> Mr. >> Here, >> Mrs. Young to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. First item is approval of the agenda as presented and there are no changes or anything. Is there a motion? >> Second discussion roll. >> Mrs. Song. Yes. Mrs. Dr. Buckley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Yes. >> Yes. communication for the participation whoever wants to go first. [laughter] As far as I know, there's nobody else signed up. >> Um, so within the primary, the primary is currently finishing up their midyear assessments and reviewing to make adjustments come January. They're also Christmas is currently in full swing in

the K2 building with lots of excitement surrounding the health and stance appearance today. And a big thank you to the PTO for helping with the secret Santa um event. And that was really great to not only engage the high school members with the little kids and just promoting Christmas within the little school within the elementary. They were also leaning into the holiday spirit while putting on a holiday spirit week. Due to the snow days a couple days um but nonetheless their Christmas spirit held on with today being favorite Christmas character, tomorrow is Christmas PJs and Friday is best Christmas sweater. Also, the elementary has an astounding 95% attendance rate from throughout the entire school year. Within the middle school, they are in the midst of taking their midterms with odd periods tomorrow and even periods

on Friday. Also, star testing has been conducted in BLA and math and the foundation of reading courses have been reassessed and Miss McFarland and Miss Cochran are currently reviewing them and working to adjust student schedules for the second semester. Within the high school, midterms are in full force with odd periods testing tomorrow and even periods on Friday. The senior class is putting on a hot chocolate fundraiser where students have the opportunity to eat popcorn, watch movies, and drink hot chocolate during the period that they are not testing. But then student life and extracurriculars, winter sports are up in a full go. The varsity girls basketball team has their next home game this Saturday at um in the 77 gym against Logan. The varsity boys basketball team plays tomorrow at home versus Logan. and the varsity

girls and boys wrestling team has their next meet this Saturday at Washington High School and West Liberty Salem High School respectively. Good luck to all of our winter athletes as they continue on with their seasons. Within our clubs, our student body has multiple organizations and clubs that the students are able to join. Within the music department, on December 13th, the choir and band had their annual Christmas concert. It was a packed house as people came out to support our students. the FFA and then obviously has a second report for that. Then the NHS currently several juniors and seniors at AC are applying to join the National Honor Society and their applications will be reviewed over Christmas break which are also council. The student council is also staying busy as they are looking forward to planning

several different holiday events and upcoming learn. Um hi, my name is Emma Strickler and I'm president of the FFA chapter. So I wanted to report on some of the events we've had over the past month and then some upcoming events for our chapter as well. So first CVE and LBE season which are all of our contests are in full go. Um just recently Riley Singleton and myself all competed in the state preliminary job interview contest. Riley and myself placed second in our age division and then McKenna placed fourth overall. Along with that, our parliamentary procedure team placed fifth at the district level. They are a very young team. They're all sophomores, so we're excited to see what the future has to hold for them. And then along with that, our chapter just completed our annual

holiday food drive where we go and place food bags in Amanda and Southville to collect non-p perishable food items for pantry. And then along with that, Kate touched on it briefly, but we had several members from our organization help with the ACT secret Santa event. So, they were either acting as elves and helping the kids shop or they were working stations at the event. And then along with that, if you ordered fruit or snacks from our FFA chapter, um the final night pickup was tonight. So, you should be receiving your items soon. And then upcoming, we have the Columbus Zoolite trip this Friday for any member who sold 10 or more boxes of crew or snacks with our fundraiser. I want to thank you all for letting our chapters do so many things and I

want to wish you all a merry Christmas. >> All right. Thank you both. I don't believe there is anybody else signed up for participation. So, athletic council [clears throat] I >> um Yeah, go ahead. >> Um uh John Tony had a nice kind of rundown of all the wrapped up fall sports and and in process sports that are going on. Um, I mentioned their clean music game time music program uh that they use that students can pick from to put together for like their pregame music and stuff, but they're all guaranteed to not have bad language and or topics in terms of the music options they can choose from to play. And apparently that got carried over into the cafeteria at lunchtime for some kids playing act like a DJ. Uh, in terms of fall

sports numbers were fairly consistent. still, you know, obviously have some uh some programs we could use a few more students in, but um some good numbers there. The soccer had a really good year runner up for the first time, I believe, and then the one team that they lost to eventually won the state championship. So certain to hang your head on with that. Uh golf had a good year with one player Kate Riddle who's district runner up. soccer, the girls soccer made the maybe had a tournament win as well. We had a list of kids in football and soccer and we made [clears throat] first team, second team honorable mention for their various sports. There was a good number of those. It was always good to see. Even more significant, we had 43 kids that

were that earned academic all state league honors in the different sports. So 43 is a good number there. um had several that made all district team and and then two in football who made all sports or all state sorry all state athletic as well team Kimberly the bigger one of the bigger news items there though from the meeting is that the the OSHA board of directors had officially approved our transfer as of December 4th to the southeast district. So, starting next year for tournaments and stuff, we'll be southeast district instead of central district in terms of who we're playing against and potential locations and that sort of thing. Um, winter sports underway numbers again, which apparently is an issue across the state, not just with us, especially in basketball. The numbers are are fairly low

for girls at least. The boys numbers are, you know, a little bit better. Wesley numbers are good. year numbers are good. Um, but basketball's kind of low. As a result, we've been playing JV two quarters games instead of full four quarter games because kids can only play six quarters a night and that lets them play the two quarters of the JV still be available for all four marks because we have so few kids that some of them we'll play all six of those. Um, the wives statewide girls. >> Uh, well, we discussed it. I think primarily it's just kids specializing with a club sports and stuff. They decide they're going to be a soccer player or a volleyball player or whatever it is. They do their school sport and then they don't do other school

sports >> outside. So that seems to be the biggest issue. Well, plus he said that one issue with basketball it is a very long season as well. He kind of threw out potential fix might be to condense the season some he didn't say anything that was particularly under discussion at any point but that was just something throughout it was a very long season. Um, we were to host the MSL cheer competition on December 7th, but it got postponed because of power outage issue here at the school. And so they're still, I guess, trying to come up with the area. >> Still trying to come up with a a new date for that. Um, let's see. Talk about wrestling tournaments coming up. Logan has officially been voted into the Midstate League Buckeye beginning August of 27.

So, not next school year, but following school year. So, the Midstate League is looking to potentially expand even beyond adding Logan and maybe go to three divisions versus two, but that's all just discussion. There was some discussion with uh perhaps Liberty Union and Harvest Prep flipping because Liberty wasn't real excited about Logan apparently coming in. So, there was some talk maybe they would switch the cardinal and harvest switch to Buckeye, but he said that's all just discussion, nothing there particularly. Um, he did say, let's see, last couple things he very much enjoyed his office over at the film house and his ability to get things done. They've had some meetings there and they've all received in the new uh conference room there and that obviously been having a lot of practices over there in the

new field [clears throat] house for the last month really. So, taking full advantage of the the new opportunity there with that facility. Um, one thing you mentioned that with the varsity football, we'll have actually six home games last year. So, we'll flip the script and have six home games instead of five or four we have this year. So, more than more for next year. Then every year after that, as a how we get the schedule, we'll be back to the more traditional five and five. So the next year we actually have six of them. So that's kind of the highlights I guess. Anything else? >> I think you did it all. >> Any other questions from anybody else? All right. Um student achievement. I know there was nothing that you sent in that legislative. >>

Yeah, I do. Um so the governor has eight acts on his desk right now. they were sent there on December 9th. Um that affect schools. Um one is the order the age requirements for kindergarten. Another modify the process for property tax sales assessment ratio studies are obviously rising. Um another bill would include property tax levies and the calculation of a school district's effective millage floor. Um, another one with property tax, uh, cap the tax growth for districts on the 20 mil floor to inflation through a retroactive tax credit and provide funds to reimburse school districts or some losses in 26 and 27. I underlined some. Um, another bill would allow county budget commissions to reduce millage on certain voter approved tax levies if they find it in quotation marks necess necessary or prudent to do

so. So, a county budget commission can do what they want apparently with voter approved levies. Um then another bill uh would cap the inflationary growth funnel inside me [cough and clears throat] beginning in tax year 26. And um so DeWine has 10 days excluding Sundays to sign, veto or allow these acts to become law without his signature. At the time of his publication, which was yesterday, he has yet to act on any of these. There's a lot going on but they can see >> discussion um building principles. >> All right. So preschool and kindergarten both had their concerts um this past week or last week actually. Uh Christmas around the world is in full swing with rotations with all the grades down at the primary. Our attendance has been hovering again around that 96 97%.

So our parents are doing awesome getting their kiddos through school. It's been wonderful. Um our data is in. I still think we have a few stragglers hanging out there with snow days and sickness and things, but we're looking pretty good across the board. Um we're seeing some improvements. We went down in first grade. That was pretty that was expected. um they add in the oral reading fluency which is a tough one for them. So they lose one piece that helps them and then they add on another piece that makes it more challenging um because it's not necessarily apples to apples. It's more like apples or grapes. Um so we're really excited to adjust our strive groups and continue working. Uh we're thankful for all the parents that help volunteer for secret Santa and the PTO

have has done tons of stuff and continues to do stuff for our staff and our students. And of course, tomorrow is PJ and hot cocoa day, so it should be an exciting time. On to the elementary. Um, our attendance last week was 96%. We are [clears throat] averaging 95% for the year, which is awesome, awesome job uh by our students and our parents wanting to make sure that their kids come to school. Um, we also are having our holiday spirit week this week. Um, we did get our third grade reading fall OS back. We did receive 37% of our third grade students uh pass uh the state assessment for the fall. Um, 29 of the 47 did get accelerated or advanced. Um, our star reading for third grade, we had 66 students from the third

grade grow uh 30 points or more. Uh we had a few students grow um skills board points from the fall to middle of the year. We had a few of them um grow over 100 points which is amazing to see that grow. Um we have identified through our other um restart readiness assessments their practice OST uh we've identified areas of weakness. We do know that math continues to be a weak weak area that we are going to focus on. Um, but we did see some strong points. Fourth grade reading looked good at 30%. Uh, fifth grade reading 37, fifth grade math 33. So, um, we're really excited about that. And then a couple of teachers of the month that I wanted to mention. We had Mrs. Lefort for November and Mrs. Loy for December. As

far as the middle school, things are going well. It's very middle schoolish. Um, students are coming. We're hovering as a building around 94.5%. Which is pretty awesome for that middle school group. Um, they've been doing their foundations of reading and their intervention, their tier three intervention. It has been going really well. I know I've just heard students talk about just the motivator of they have an opportunity to kind of test out of that area. So, you really see that 100% effort being put in. It's pretty awesome. Um, let's see. As far as our foundations of ELA, our tier 2 support, currently we have um 56 sixth graders participating, 53 7th graders and 36 eighth graders. I know that um it kind of cramped the style a little bit having a couple snow days because they

had some different incentives that were in place and now they're having to make up some different tests and things like that. But overall, things are going well for middle school. The high school is doing wonderful. They're excited to finish up their exams and um do do high school things um and just kind of I think they're all looking forward to that that break and the reset to come back and just kick off the the end of the school year there. We're halfway through. So, the seniors are probably getting a little seniorized, so we got to make sure they they hold steady. So, that's it. >> And just to piggy back, those foundations classes, they're all getting ready to retest. So those numbers will hopefully adjust um coming into January. So I think they've been retesting

currently. >> Very festive. >> Thank you. You know, I I got this hat on Black Friday a couple years ago for like a dollar. I was like, one year I'm going to put a an emblelet on there, our logo, and this year was the year. So, >> thank you. >> So happy that made it safely off. >> Hey, that was that was impressive. Imagine what tomorrow's >> I'm sure of it. I kind of saw it picture. >> That's why we don't send pictures until after. >> Yes. I'm pretty sure I saw. >> Yes, [clears throat] definitely. Approved. >> I bet the kids love that. >> Yes, they did. >> Good job. >> [laughter] >> Okay, did it. Um, so a few things just to let the board know. Um, the district did provide Thanksgiving lunch

for all staff um for whenever the the cooks do an excellent job. The cooks um making a special Thanksgiving lunch and uh the district picked up a staff as well. Just a note, this district will be doing that for all staff for the Christmas lunch as well. that is actually tomorrow. So, um exciting things for on the menu for tomorrow. I'm looking forward to going down and it's fun to serve, you know, serve to the students they come through and and just once again highlights how great our students are. There's very few students that come through the line that doesn't say thank you, please. Yes. You know, it's really great to see. Um, just a note for the 2627 calendar, um, that's currently being reviewed. One of the people that I've learned that I have

to let go of the calendar for next year is Beth Hat because she picks up things or finds things that um, I overlook or don't see or whatever. Um, she's always in that payroll mode and and knows knows some different things to look for. So, anyways, that will be on the January agenda. So the 26 27 calendar will be on the January agenda. Um update for strategic planning. Um I will be emailing out to the board a kind of unified summary that the center provided us from some of our ongoing um meetings that we've had. uh January 8th and 9th we're going to be doing some looking into some goal work um with the feedback we've received um that is um like I said January 8th and 9th on February 12th that's when we were

bringing that group of this discovery team back together that's was consisting of administrators parents students um community members and then Mr. Sharp and Mrs. down are the two board member representation on that team. So, it's February 12th. The goal, and we're still on track to have a presentation to the board, a March at the March board meeting, uh kind of where we've been, where we're going, what conclusions we came up with, and and what that looks like. So, excited to see see how that pulls together. Um, on the January 2nd professional development day, staff will be able to review and respond uh to each of the uh summaries from each of those stakeholder groups. So they'll have a half hour they'll come in and they'll read through and and we'll talk a little bit about

some of the the responses we received from the different stakeholder groups and then be able to respond to each of those that will give us input for our goal work and then as we discovery team uh just to highlight so you know strategic planning that's your overall compass I'll say northern star where you're going district what what you value um those type of things um we are also in our three-year plan. Um, our one needs assessment and one plan which is required by the state. And that's more focused on your goal areas of reading, math, graduation, climate, those type of things. Um, and it's more aligned to what the state some of its compliance piece uh but it's more aligned to what you're doing directly with with students in there. So, um that is is

a nice time that they're doing strategic planning and that one plan both at the same time to um pull those that work together. Um so, and then the last thing I'd like to just take a moment and there's two people uh Mr. Sharp and Mrs. Kingtock, just want to um as your terms are expiring, um just want to thank you for the time um this over this last four years that you have uh worked with the board and been on the board. Um you know, service, outstanding leadership, commitment to Amanda Creek local schools. Um overall, we have a you're a wonderful board to work with. um always have the um you know the students and the community at mind on every decision you make. So Mr. Sharp. Thank you. [applause] >> Oh, you want to

come around? >> Okay. [laughter] >> Very good. Sounds like too much. >> Thank you. Appreciate that. >> Thank you very much. >> All right. Um on to then consent agenda. Item one is to uh I guess approve consent agenda number one which includes amendments from the previous meeting minutes from the special meeting on December 9. approve the substitute list as presented by the Fairfield County ESC's and also to accept the donation of children's books for literacy rate of $500. Is there a motion? >> Seconds. Any discussion? >> Um the children's books were donated and then distributed on the literacy night. So they were given to the school and then we handed them out to students. So it's not an assassin from the district. I just want to point that out. as well as it was

given by Ben Farms and I will add Ben's name to gonna say >> Barnes & >> Dr. Buckley. Yes. >> Mrs. Young, yes. >> Mrs. Pock, yes. >> Mrs. Song, yes. Mr. S. >> Yes. Treasury recommendations, financial status report, we don't receive any additional revenue of the state foundation. So, um, as I've said before, November and December are our lowest months for, um, cash. So, there are we're watching cash in November and December. Um, so the, uh, revenue was only $926,66. Um, we are still receiving um, decent return on investments. Um our interest earnings were $50,976. Um the um this is the lowest it's been for the um investments from the construction and it's $5,942. We will have a little bit of interest in December, but those funds will mostly be paid out pretty much

by January. So that'll be almost at zero. Um the only investment account we have left for construction is at Star Ohio. Everything else has been dissolved at this point, which I think is the same report I gave last month. Um our revenue is down 45,000 and that was almost 100% just from the um investment earnings. Um [clears throat] to date, so for the most part, we were about $1.3 million that we received from our invested funds. Um and because we split those um issuances into two, we were able to keep that those funds um in the general fund for us to use at our as unrestricted. So um expenditures for the month were $2,80,293. Um we wrote checks in the amount of $2,886,48. Um but the checks written again are from all funds. We have

not um we only have a couple of payments left and they're smaller payments where they've been um and then we've been paying some retainage out too. We did the construction in four projects financially so as they finished buildings then we would pay the retainage out as it was completed. Um so that's why that's so much lower. Um and that's about where we stay normally is about 2.8 million in checks. Um, we did our maker payment for the lease purchase agreement. Um, I added I did this last month, but I added a line um to track that so you guys can see. Um, both the lease purchase and the cops um those will be as we pay those, they're less and less each time we pay them. They're not the same amount like a normal mortgage

payment. um the principal and interest are um the amount of the same anyway. So we can track that year over year so you guys can see that being paid out. Um the expenses mostly in line November of 24. So there weren't there wasn't anything new. Everything was pretty much in line. Um the expenditures however overall were down about 144,000 from 25. That's pretty much over two, you know, $2 million. That's not a big difference. Um our expenses exceed our revenues by 1.153 million. Um salary and benefits are about 69% of our monthly total for expenses. Um the current general fund balance is 2 mill 10,79,870. We have incumbrances otherwise known as POS outstanding in the amount of 2,427,000 um which brings our available cash balance to 8,282,000. The balance in the 070 capital projects fund

is 8,758,000. Um we have incumbrances in that fund of 1.1 million which leaves us an un an income balance of 7,653,000. Um I do leave the cent on that report for you because this is the only place that we report that in the monthly meeting. I want to make sure you know the exact balance in that fund. Um that is the money that the board has moved for capital projects. Um that is not restricted. So therefore, if in the event we would need to move those funds back, we could um into the general fund. Our carryover balance per cap policy, DAV, is about 32%. Um again, that's the lowest it's been since we've been reporting that number. Um it'll probably be lower than that for December. Um so it may that [clears throat] threshold that

is under 30%. Um, but with both income tax and receipts from property tax coming in January, it'll be high for the January report. So that makes sense. Is there any questions on them? >> Is there a motion to approve? Susan second. >> Sure. >> Any discussion? >> Mrs. Young. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Yes. Dr. Beckley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Paw. >> Yes. >> Mr. Sh. >> Yes. >> Second item. Under treasury recommendations to approve a then purchase order to approve the following expenditures declaring at the time of the contract the obligation was lawfully appropriated treasury appropriate fund free from previous >> $2573. >> Is there a motion? seconds. Second discussion. >> So, this is an instance. I did this in the board notes um that we had a purchase order open and closed it. Did

not receive an invoice. Went ahead and closed it. Not anticipating they were sending the invoice. Unfortunately, we closed that PO and then we got an invoice this month. So, um we opened a new PO. So, hence the then discussion. Dr. Buckley, >> yes. >> Mr. Young, yes. Mrs. Paw, yes. Mrs. Yes. Mr. Sharp, >> yes. [clears throat] >> Move on to consent agenda number two for personnel. It includes accepting resignations and or retirements to as listed. Approving classified contracts for 2526. One there. Approving approval of classified substitute contracts for 2526 as listed. Approving a supplemental employment for 2526 and then approving volunteers for the classroom for 25 to 26 as listed. And as always, we very much appreciate classroom volunteers. So, thank you all to those who take the time to do that. Is there

a motion? >> Moves. Misty Misty seconds. Any other any discussion? Call >> Dr. Buckley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Sp. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Song. Yes. But I need to abstain from chats. >> Okay. I think you can accept. >> No, I'm not risking that. >> Okay. [laughter] office. >> Okay. Mr. Mrs. Young. >> Yes. >> Mr. Sh. >> Yes. [clears throat] >> Uh item number six, superintendent recommendation approve fifth quarter grant work days fiscal year 26 how many from Mr. Sharp Scott Sharp that is for some extended days he gets through this grant to work with our state students. Is there a motion? >> Mr. Second to the seconds discussion and roll call. >> Mrs. P. Mrs. Young. >> Yes. Dr. Buckley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Yeah. Mr. >> And all business is just the

policy updates. we've already kind of looked at last meeting. It's the second read for those listed there. As we kind of talked about before, most of these are changing the modifications language wise and terms required based on laws that have passed since they were last updated. Is there a motion to approve those policies? Moves seconds. Any discussion? We're not there yet. Yes. list discussions. >> All right, roll call. >> Um, Dr. Buckley, >> yes. >> Mrs. Song, yes. Mrs. >> Mrs. Young, yes. Mr. Sharp, >> yes. >> All right. Item eight is on to new business and we need to accept nominations for the president prom to uh serve at the organization meeting coming up in January. I nominate Sue Sue. >> I think we just once we nominations close nomination move Sue and move

to close to >> Robin to close. Is there a second to second closing? Any discussion? Closing nominations for president for 10 position. Roll call. >> Mrs. Song. Yes. Dr. Buckley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Mrs. Young. >> Yes. Mr. >> Yes. Um, so now a kind of formality election of President Pro 10 for organizational meeting. You have one option. It's Susan or Susan. >> Um, I guess you read down through. >> Yeah. Yeah, >> this is Mrs. Mrs. Young. >> Mr. Charlotte, >> Mrs. Young, >> this is Young. >> Thank you. >> All right. Uh, item C is to approve after school tutor after school detention supervisor as needed per the CBA tutor rate. Susan James for that position. Is there a motion? All the moves. Second. >> Jeremy seconds. Discussion call. >> Yes. Dr. >>

Yes. >> Mrs. Mrs. Young. >> Yes. >> Mr. >> Yes. Item D is to approve Terry Pinktock substitute administrator as needed $375 per day. Is there a motion? Susan seconds discussion. Just an option just yeah at times we find that there's you know someone that's helping out long term. We've used Mrs. Garrett multiple times and she's so great to work with us. So this just one more option discussion >> um Mrs. Young. Yes. Mrs. Song. >> Yes. >> Dr. Bley. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Christine. And Mr. >> Yes. So now the board discussion establishing date for the organization [clears throat] that work. 6:37 usually. >> No, I I can do six. [clears throat] [cough and clears throat] >> So, Wednesday, January 7:00. [snorts] Next item there is the uh the 2026 OSBA legal assistance fund

membership. I got an email asking for I don't know if we've done this before or not, but asking whether or not we would be willing to do the $250 annual contribution to that. Basically what that is is it goes into a legal fund that OSBA has and if there is a school in the state who is facing some sort of legal action to where the result whatever that result might be would be something that would impact more schools in the state than just that school and they can put some money toward the legal fees for that school to fight or whatever whatever the situation is. That's what that fund is. They asked if we would consider doing that. So, I thought I would put that on there for a discussion this time and if we,

you know, it seems like something [cough] willing to do, we can put it on question. I don't know the answer to that question. >> I don't know. >> It's not something we've done. We have done it. I'm looking back to >> [clears throat] >> We haven't done it all the way back to I wonder who's benefiting from how many people or how many districts are in it. >> Yeah. Well, I think it could be anybody in the state. I don't think you have to contribute to potentially get back. It's just it's a fund where OSBA can determine if there's a school. I don't know if they petitioned like the school asked for the funding or if they just determined if they're in this legal battle that results going to impact >> have a lot of

$250 attorney like how many schools like >> how big is the fund >> probably and I can also So reach out to SBA. You know, I can reach out to SBA and hear pinch lift that came in and met with us. He might be able to provide some some of the answers to some of those. >> Not a huge amount of money, but I'd like to hear how many schools have donated. Have they ever used that money? And what they use it for? Yeah. What's it used for? Legal battle would impact other schools because it would set a precedent for something. says, "For the past 50 years, the legal assistance fund has provided critical support for boards of education facing cases and controversies with statewide implications. Qualifying districts may request and receive either financial assistance

to help offset litigation expenses, an amicus cur brief filed in support of the district. I have no idea what that means. Uh legal research and consultation to strengthen district's legal strategy." So one thing I would suspect more often than not to offset location but I don't know that um says in 25 the fund provided support in several cases involving issues of statewide certificates including those involving vouchers bonds and levies and pupil transportation difference helping secure favorable judicial decisions that positively impact your district and students. Members should also include a yearly subscription to the school law summary, a comprehensive quarterly publication summaries of recent state federal court decisions by schools. So I guess a little more something to consider. It's not a huge amount. >> No, it's not a huge department from USBA. policy. She's been

>> seminar. So they've been doing for 50 years. >> Okay. So anyways, if it's of interest, we can put it on the uh at least put it on the agenda for consideration. Okay. Um after that is the policy updates. There's a nice big long list of them. First read for all of those. Again, they're all there's nothing one that just [clears throat] required language change because of a pill, right? Right. Most of most of them are just as a result of the wall changing. >> What happened to the >> I know I'm standing now. >> I forgot about that. >> [laughter] >> Merry Christmas everybody. >> Hey, merry Christmas. Thanks for all you guys do. >> Last of the holiday celebration. [laughter] They are mostly all of them are purely changes for example defining motorbies.

um the one that isn't necessarily a law change, but it is a OSBA recommendation. If you see um policy B, board policy development adoption, the thing I want to highlight in that policy is that allows for small changes to be made without necessarily coming to the board. If, for example, if it is a grammatical error or a typo, those things can be changed without bringing back. Um, our policy has to indicate who specifically our title N coordinator is. Um, that you know, for example, we had to change it from Terry Pink to Ashley Davis. Well, that technically would have had to come to you. This would allow us to change just name of people in those positions. Um, small changes will be able to be made without necessarily report. Also, if there's some a policy

that is of urgent necessity to change, um it would allow for a one read instead of the two read uh to make that policy. So, you can make the change in the same night. Um the other things are just like I said associated with with law changes. Um some of them that are with the financial side of things. It's just you know updated in the forecast and what that looks like. Um so um the religious expression days we already had policy reflecting the updated law that there is an option to to allow for more time. This would continue with what our current policy um has in place but again make the a few word changes to align with how things are defined at all. But the um the paperwork, the policies that Carrie sent out

should give you what the changes were would reflect on our current policies. So any questions for those next meeting, please let me know. Or if you need additional information, let me know as well. Anybody else [cough] regarding I move we adjourn. >> If not, I'll move. >> I'll second. >> Susan seconds. >> We are less than an hour, which I think I can safely say is the first time that's happened in eight years that I've been on board. Any other discussion? >> I just like to say that your started. before you roll. >> Mrs. Yes. >> Mrs. Mrs. Dr. >> Yes. >> Mr. Shir, >> yes. It's still
