We've got a greater Cleveland Conference matchup for you tonight between the visiting Madina Bees and your Brunswick Blue Devils. Paul's on here with you. I'll bring you all the action after a great boys matchup between these two schools last night. We're hoping for the same thing tonight. Last night, the boys prevailed in overtime, winning by one point over the Madina Bees. and history set last night as Trey Drexler became the all-time leading scorer in Brunswick history. Tonight for the girls,
002both teams coming in at five and five overall, 3-2 in the Greater Cleveland Conference. So, on paper, we should have have a very even matchup tonight. Uh Madina uh battling a little bit of the uh the sickness bug. They'll be missing a couple of their players tonight as Emily Fischer and Haley Purdue uh unable to suit up tonight. uh because of illness. Uh so that may play a factor. Uh obviously Madina will have to go a little bit deeper. Uh the Mustangs coming back from a trip to Florida where they took place in the KSA events [snorts] holiday tournament down at the Gaylar Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center uh in Kami, Florida, right by Disney World there. Uh they went uh two and one on their trip down there. So a successful trip. The
003Blue Devils coming off a big win at the Berea Mid Park holiday event where they knocked off Lewisville 5745. So, both teams coming in on a on a winning note. And as we said with the last broadcast we did with the boys in Strongsville, uh Madina, Brunswick, rivals, uh records don't matter. These teams want to beat each other. Uh we had a very spirited uh junior varsity game that concluded with the Blue Devils winning 4237. And as I said uh the girls were just thrilled because they beat Madina. Uh you beat Madina, you beat Strongsville. That's part of having a very successful season if you're a Brunswick Blueevil. It's been that way for a very long time.
