001Okay, thank you all for being here. We're going to do a call to order and this is a considered a special board meeting um since we did have a a a day change and a time shift and I appreciate the flexibility there. Um we have a we have a board with some active students too. So um just appreciate everybody's flexibility in and shifting. So if we could go ahead and do roll call please. >> Mr. Bowman >> here. >> Mr. F >> here. >> Mrs. Lindamman >> here. >> Mr. Napier >> here. >> Mrs. Winger >> here. >> Number three on the agenda um is the adoption of the agenda. So I could have a motion to adopt the agenda. >> So move. >> Second. >> Mr. Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Winganger. >>

002Yes. >> Mr. Bman. >> Yes. >> Mr. Faulk. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman. >> Yes. And this month we have one meeting to approve. So I should be able to handle this. If I could have a motion to approve the meeting minutes from the special meeting on April 13th. >> So move. Second. >> Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bman. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman. >> Yes. >> Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Winger. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, we do not have any public participation. this evening. So, we'll go on to number six, which is our special accommodations. Um, I say this every single month, but there is um a gamut of them there and a variety. Um, we've got a a prom decoration donation from um Dean and Joella Maguire that was valued

003at $300. Conference dinner for staff from PTO. Freddy folders uh again from PTO. uh car tags, which I'm sure are helpful with our drop off and pickup uh routine from PTO. We did have a anonymous donation of $246 to the high school for um our National Honor Society, which had their ceremony um a couple Sundays ago, the Knox County Port Council to FFA program of $300. Um, Cal Gallowix donated two mobile shop tables and a welding cell for the FFA a shop mechanics class um, valued at $230 and Westside Club donated toward student lunch fees of $150. Um, under our accommodations, we also have um some students to recognize. Um they participated in the OMA District 10 middle school solo and choir ensemble and to no shock we had um some fantastic results. I'm going

004to read through the specific students here and then I'm going to lump our um our groups together there. So we had Faith Love Art um vocal that received an excellent Remy Deandry. >> Yep. Uh, vocals superior. Thomas Shade, clarinet superior. Braden Roush, Alto, saxophone superior. Nadia Kersner, trumpet superior. Saden Luckmeer, xylophone superior. Reagan Snow, um, flute superior. Cora Fry, vocal superior. And Brilland Stone on the snare drum with the good. So wonderful job, kiddos. Under our ensembles, the mixed grade tenor, you guys can see these on your agenda there, the kids that participated with these groups. The mixed grade uh tenor bass vocal ensemble received an excellent mixed grade soprano alto vocal ensemble received an excellent. Mixed grade SATB vocal ensemble, a superior. We'll just say we're superior, right? Eighth grade brass quintet, excellent. Mixed

005grade uh brass quartet, excellent. Ninth grade alto saxophone trio received a superior. Seventh grade alto saxophone trio received a superior. Seventh grade woodwin quartet a superior. Seventh grade woodwin duet a superior. Seventh grade snare drum duet a superior. And the seventh grade trombone duet. And excellent. If I could have a motion to approve all of those. >> So move. >> Second. >> Yeah. >> Mrs. Winger. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bman. >> Yes. >> Mr. Faulk. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman. >> Yes. >> Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Okay. Number seven and number eight is the treasures report and into the treasures consent agenda. >> Uh for the financials for the month of April. uh as of right now we have received 97% of all revenues and expenditures were right around the 75 76% mark. Um

006we also I met with our uh my consultant this morning for the when I go to the June workshop for the forecast next month which is while to file again in August. Um right as of today I am $800 um my forecast is projected $800 higher than where we are actually. So I'm right on target for all revenues and expenditures within the forecast. Um pretty proud of that. And uh as of right now we are starting to go into uh the close of for the fiscal year. Um we'll be closing out all as many purchasers as we can and um get all of the coaches and advisors paid in full. So that will be all done and then we can start the new pay schedule for starting in for July 1. Um I do have

007some amended appropriations and estimated resources. Uh they um the high school did receive a grant. I believe it's No, it's middle school, right? The $10,000 grant for PLTW uh that came in. So, I have to adjust my appropriations and estimated resources of the 10,000. The student managed needs to be increased by about 3,300. Um those are for major like prom tickets and any fundraisers they did. Uh I am asking for increase in a permanent preparations for uh for the PI fund. Uh these are for uh anything that has a life value of five years or more for large expenditures. Um we are buying some items for the really I believe this one is for I'm trying to remember my goodness. for the wait room where we're buying um equipment for the weight room out of

008PI and then the classroom maintenance. Uh a lot of that will be alleviate some of the funds. Instead of using general fund, we're going to take out of classroom maintenance for everything that Neil needs to do maintenance for around the building. And that is everything that I have. So I will entertain a motion to approve the treasur's consent agenda and then we can do questions. >> So move second >> questions for Heather. >> You're looking at me. >> Oh, I thought you had questions. >> Yeah, I do have questions. Okay. >> Um, so the permanent improve permanent improvements I I understand that. I I get >> why with the 070 fund that we have. I'm maybe talking why isn't that pulled out of there or is that where that money comes from or >> the

009070 we are using for um the inside of the buildings for like we use for the carpet and other huge ticket items. We've been using that for the permanent improvement. This was such a low number. Um, >> okay. >> And I needed to for the county auditor, I needed to get some of that spent down. So, I used the PI. >> Okay. I understand that. Thank you. >> Yep. >> Didn't mean to put you >> Nope. >> On the spot, but thank you. >> Nope. >> Just something that listening to you talk gave me a question. >> Yep. >> I appreciate it. >> Anybody else? Okay, I think we're ready for Okay. Mr. Napier, >> yes. >> Mr. Bman, >> yes. >> Mr. F, >> yes. >> Mrs. Lenderman, yes. >> Mrs. Winger, yes. Thank

010you. >> Okay. And number nine and number 10, our superintendent report and the superintendent's consent agenda. Mr. Chapman, >> good afternoon everyone. Uh, I did provide you with an update on um the track field resurfacing project down there and then also on our um with the facilities committee on the stadium and fieldhouse project. But just to go through the uh the first page there on the track and reservicing really um we remain on schedule. We we've been blessed by some good weather here recently and that has allowed us to stay on schedule. >> Okay. um at this point and if I put on there that the the sideline the synthetic turf for the sidelines was set to be installed this week. Well, they actually started on that on that uh today on the visitor sideline.

011So, you can you can actually take a look and there's some green down there amongst all the other things. But, uh um also the uh ND zone excavation and paving preparation will begin after Tuesday. I know Mr. Hleyway has had a conversation with coach Kger on that and so that you'll start to see then the high jump pit move down on the track I believe and then they'll go after that one. Uh goalpost flag those bases have been installed. Irrigation uh would be is scheduled to be here uh finalized by the end of May because then sad installation if everything stays on schedule should arrive and you'll see installation by June 1 on that one. Okay. And Also then track and walkway milling. Uh the milling of the track and existing spectator spectator walkways are

012expected by around mid year after they have all the sod and everything completed on the interior of the field. Um then also too, if you've noticed there on the visitor side on the uh west side, um you'll see they're already putting some fill in there for the spectator walkways. Uh trying to fill that up and make it level with the track and then also there'll be a retaining wall uh that'll be put in place there as well. Um that so that on that side that's what's going on over there. And then on the home side where you walk into the gate on the west end as well where you walk into the gate, there's a pretty significant ditch there. Uh we're already you already seen that being filled in or at least dirt there to

013be filled in. They'll have a tile placement there and we want to make that level with the track too. So it's not quite the valley that we have to go through. So just some different things also being done there as far as that accessibility safety pieces. safety issue as well. Uh as far as the facilities uh committee and a stadium and fieldhouse project, uh committee met on Thursday, April 29 in the afternoon. Um that was really a design meeting, initial design meeting, something they call um program of requirement. Kind of went through that. There's a lot of detail uh that try and led us through as far as indiv items as far as the scope of what we would like to see uh for space utilization in the fieldhouse. So, we spent a majority of

014our time kind of going through what we currently have as far as square footage of coaches on what would be ideal um or at least reasonable which makes sense. Um even the room sizes with locker room plumbing requirements. We can talk about that. Um but uh quite a quite an intense meeting in that regard. Also we had some conversations on storage and flexibility. um security defense fencing um was also a discussion with that meeting with that perimeter fence and um we've been taking a look hard looking hard at that perimeter fence um because that we could also then begin to maybe re-imagine if you will or reconsider our entry points where our ticket booth goes especially on that far east uh west end. um and then try to utilize um our current parking down there

015in the um the main on the main campus. So all that's yet to be kind of hashed out and and have some discussions on. I may have um Mr. Hathaway I may have him attend that that next committee meeting um as he has obviously intimately involved down there and has some good ideas and looking at it from a different perspective. So I may have him join us for that committee meeting which would be Monday, next Monday, May 18th to sit in there and to hear from him with the architects and the committee. So I think that could be good. The other thing too today that happened down there was McKver and Associates. They were down there. They are surveyors. They started that. Um they were surveying. They hope get started on that one. Um they

016may be back again later on this week. But one of the things that has become a priority there um is uh the sewage system, our lift station and how those lift stations are interconnected um with the village lift station and also then the parks and wreck lift station. And so that's what we wanted them to take a look at to get some narratives on that and from their perspective as the civil engineer engineering piece. With that being said, I probably should start off with this. Uh last week ago, Friday, I believe Ryan, Mr. Shoemaker, um he pulled together Andy Fox, uh Bruce Snell, Matt Thompson down there. We met in the rain and it was cold. I didn't like that piece, but um we met down there. They so they did a nice job of

017of kind of explaining the history and the layout of all of that which was very informative um as far as what we have what we're faced with as far as that sewage system down there. Um obviously made a phone call to to Casey Burns or with Triad um and put her on notice as well and that's also why she then communicated with McKver Associates to begin looking So right now a lot of lot of eyes looking at it. Um we'll see what uh type of update we can have for the committee on next Monday. So any questions on those? >> The unknowns of underground >> kind of sort of. >> Yes. >> Okay. Moving on to the superintendent's consent agenda. Uh we have some resignation there or I'm sorry retirement Mrs. Ruth Anne Huffler head

018cook 40 years of experience. Uh so wow very impressive there. That's item A. We have a trip item B is the first reading of the travel club trip to Germany, Austria and the Alps and that be for summer of 2028. Then also a motion to revise the 2627 calendar uh district calendar and you can see there the changes that would be included would be just to identify the teacher flex day over winter break as December 21. Um a change in the middle school parent teacher conferences and then also uh calamity makeup day. Um we clarified that. I want to thank uh Mrs. Snder there for her for her collaboration with that as well. If the district exceeds five days by February 15th, that would be President's Day 27, um we will use that as a

019makeup day for loss instructional time. All other days will be made up at the end of the school year. Items D is for student insurance uh protective agency or from from the student protective agency for the next school year. That's annual approval. And then also this Thursday um approving the agreement to rent the New Life Community Church for the senior class lunchon. Also uh we have two policies there that for first reading that are follow-ups again from our March policy review meeting which would be food service and then vacation. Uh again those are as a first reading. Item G is classroom field trip chaper and volunteers for the remainder of this year four days I believe. Also substitute nurse pending background check and lensure and then now then we get into college credit plus I

020know we've approved several students last month and we have one more and then also to approve the college credit plus teachers for the 26 27th school year and then we move to the annual approval there of the LPDC committee for next year with then item L would be recommendations um for the next school year as well, including then um certified employment there of the five elementary teachers and also Mrs. Taylor as elementary principal. So, I really commend uh Mrs. Taylor and and our teachers and Mr. for their work there in securing these and having as of right now that would complete our certified hiring for the school year. So for next school year exemp uh we also then would have contracts and then supplemental employment as well there. Moving on down to item M and

021N would be then doc day and medical leave. Item O is overnight camps for our boys basketball and football to get those on the calendar and approved. And then we have supplemental a long list of supplemental contracts for next fall next year along with two volunteers. And then item Q is um putting on the agenda now the list of summer board of ed meetings. And you can see those there all with the time at 5:30 p.m. and then we can start announcing those and get those on the calendar so all is aware to be voted on separately. Number 11, we have two with LPDC and then um for Miss Katherine Bellman uh the winner of the EWOL scholarship for this year, she will be attending Ohio University and going into pre Yes. early education. Thank

022you. Excited about that. Anytime we can have our students going into public education, that is that is what we want and need. What I have. Okay. So, if I could have I got to flip back a page. Motion to approve the superintendent's consent agenda all the way through A through Q. and then we can do discussion or questions. >> Motion. >> We need a a motion first. >> Second. All right. Questions? >> The only I I this just jumped out at me. Um item It's Chris. It's not Christ. >> Say P >> P. It's not Christ. >> It just jumped out at me. >> It's Chris. I don't know if that makes any difference. >> Yeah. Yeah. Sorry. I just We can correct that. >> Oh, yeah. Add a little T there. Go across there.

023Any other questions? >> I did. Sorry, >> want to clarify Q is now set. We're not going to have any more changes. The dates for the meetings are now set for summer. All those dates not going to change. >> No intention to change them. Uh the policies I should ask you guys >> were those just not ready >> they weren't ready the one the food service was about protein egg and whatever I didn't understand that one and then the vacation that was a new policy and that had >> um what you the big thing the big takeaway for me at least was that we can pay out um if can't pay out in li of how was it about like not paying out vacation paying for vacation in taking it. Does that make sense? >>

024That was the big takeaway. It talk you know it kind of clarified around the number of days that you would get for vacation as well. So I don't have an answer other than >> why that is coming out now but >> that we need we do not have any language our board policy does not have any language clarifying how vacation days are paid out in this district for for administrators um >> and classified I'm sorry yes is clarified for certified thank you >> and this provides that language that we should have in there. That way we're all operating on the same premise there from and based on board policy >> and the food food service would just change. >> We wanted to get that in front of our food service uh consultant too to make

025sure we were remember that. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And we are still >> uh we'll bring back to you for our discussion last in the during the April board meeting regarding class rank and grading policy that Mr. shoemaker had with us. We will be once we get through that and and have some more discussion there, but we'll be transferring that into policy because those were two policy specific um in that batch policies. So, we'll bring that as well. It'll be pretty much the same language that'll be put in your student handbook for next year, but then we'll have core policy behind that as well. Mine's not really a question, but awesome that we're hired >> like as of right now going into summer. That's amazing. And then just um that meeting with Triad was

026really good. And I think this is a new process like the district hasn't gone through a design build process. So, we're kind of learning, but really feel good about Triad as our partners. Nate with me did a it was just very Yep. >> Just a great conversation, good meeting. So that would just be I guess a side note there. Okay. So I think we're ready for roll. >> Mr. B. >> Yes. >> Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bman. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lenderman. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Winger. >> Yes. >> Okay. And to be um voted on separately. If I could have a motion to approve um superintendent's consent agenda number 11 A and B. >> So moved. Second, >> Mrs. Winger. Yes. Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bman. >> Stain. >> Mr.

027F. >> Mrs. Lind. Yes. Thank you. >> Okay. And then you want me just to read this, you think? Yeah. Okay. So, number 12, um, the board's consent agenda. I need a motion to authorize an issuance of notice of public and notice of public hearing on a reemployment of public employee. Be it resolved by the Fredericktown local school local school district board of education that the treasurer issue the following notice on behalf of the board to the public in the same manner in which special meetings of the board are publicized. This is to comply with Ohio Revised Code section 3307.353. The Frederickton Local School District Board of Education gives notice that Gary Chapman is or will be retired under state teachers retirement system effective December 31st, 2026 and is seeking employment with this board thereafter

028in the same position. Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 29th at 5:30 p.m. in at 11 Columbus Road, Frederick Town, Ohio here in the board office 43019. on the issue of the employees reemployment as superintendent. Notice of public hearing on the employment of public employee. Again, this is um to comply with Ohio Revised Code section 3307.353. The Frederick Town Local School District Board of Education gives notice. We have this in here twice. Do you hear this twice? >> It's the same. >> So, I need a motion to approve. >> So, move second. Mr. Napier, >> yes. >> Mr. Bowman, >> yes. >> Mr. Paul, >> yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman, >> yes. >> Mrs. Winger, >> yes. I will get that taken care of. >> Thank you. >> Which is why we have

029a couple at least one extra uh meeting that we need to have. So, okay. Um, number 13, committee reports, which kicks off with myself. a couple things out here so I don't miss them. Um, career center, I was not at their I was not at their meeting last month and their meeting is actually this coming Thursday and I will not be at that either because we have senior awards and balorate here. Um, but they do have some exciting news going on down there. Um, they have two requests in for some funding. One is called congressionally directed spending. Um and that is for their mobile welding lab. Um and it's my understanding that there was about 500ish applications. Um and they have made it to the final 100. So um uh Senator Mareno was in and

030then just this last week's representatives were that might have just been this week. Today yesterday not yesterday obviously that was Sunday. anyways recently and that's looking really favorable um not only for the career center but the winter sanctuary also has a request that has moved forward um so for that for two projects to be potentially federally funded in Knox County is a great thing for our county and for our region so that's super exciting um they also have a request in with the capital budget so um kind of some good things going on there I did not see publicly the results yet um for Payton Blakesley and Elizabeth Trooper, but they both did compete in the um Business Professionals of America in Nashville, Tennessee last week. Um I think I shared that they were going

031to have that opportunity and it looks like um from what I've seen out on social media, they had a great time. Um and I'm sure that was quite the experience. I know that traditionally we have lots of students um get to participate from the county um all the way to the national level. So that's pretty awesome. Great that we had two Fridays there. So, um, those are my report outs for the career center. I feel like I'm avoiding them, but I promise it's all for Good Friday reasons, so should be an easy pass, right? Um, FCDF, we actually are meeting this week also and we're having our meeting at the new location of the historical society and this coming Wednesday at noon. Um, we are going to be we the historical society is going to

032be ribbon cutting um their new location which is featured in the 43019 magazine that just hit mailboxes. Um, I think I've mentioned before there's a lot of space in there now. Um, actually I just have to tell you something kind of funny. We were um we as an alumni roofing were putting doing some work on the ice cream shop and one of our employees reached out to me and said, "Why does the school district have kids going in the funeral home?" And I was like, "Oh, it's not a funeral home anymore." I think they used to like go by it because it it is a historical marker, the building itself. Um, but I don't know if they went in it. And so it's actually my my niece's husband that was like, "Why is that happening?"

033Like, so I said, "Well, it's a historical society now." So the third graders, they were making their ways ways around um around town out in front of the Neil Theater and inside the inside the funeral or inside the historical society. So anyways, um we'll have to just Yeah, we'll just Yeah, I thought that was pretty fun. though. Um, we there will also be coming up uh looks like on Saturday, June 13th, a ribbon cutting for Acriman. Another great collaboration of some state private public dollars that went into that project. And then uh starting next week, you'll see planters being hung and or not planters being hung, hanging baskets being hung, planters being installed. So, you should start to see a splash of color in downtown Frederick Town. So, and FCVF's super excited to be a

034part of all of that. Um, I'm going to be attending on behalf of FCVF, um, a session on fundraising and donor retaining and stuff that the Knox County Foundation is offering for free. So, any free training, >> try to, it's actually this the 14th, this Thursday, 2 to 4. >> So, going to try to jump in there and see what they have to tell us about that. So those are my two report outs. >> Mr. >> All right. I was not able to attend the last meeting. I was out of town for work. Um but uh Knox aspect just wrapped up uh their interviews uh last Thursday. Um had a chance to go down there. Day went really well. Kudos to all the businesses that interviewed the students. Ryan, do you know how many students

035we had off top of your head? Two. I'm not sure. >> Okay. Okay. So, we had a couple students that were there, but they they had a nice lunch forum. They got to interview with all the employers. Uh talked to Andy Fox for a little bit there. Excuse me. But it was a uh it was a really good it's a really good program. We we highlighted it in one of the other meetings, but uh great opportunity for those kids. So, that just wrapped up on Thursday. >> I know there's a lot of wrapup stuff. >> Yeah. policy. I think we chatted about that earlier. Good to move on. >> All right, Mrs. Wayne, your legislation and advocacy. Got a super short report for me because uh the general assembly's been recessed basically since our last

036meeting. So, uh they reconvene I think this week now that the um primary elections are over. So, um, yeah, just nothing really to report this month. >> Finance. I don't think Don and I have anything except that Heather will keep us breast. >> Yep. To get ready for your August August forecast, which is weird. >> Yeah, but yeah. >> Okay. >> Um, any other board member report? >> I had a great weekend at the school boards, leadership institution down in Columbus for two days. Uh some great sessions. Most of you know me. I went to the school financing thing, school law thing, state legislature, what they're doing. A lot of good stuff going out there, learned a lot of stuff. Found out that we're doing a fantastic job. School board and superintendent treasure. Uh we're

037doing a couple sessions on that. Did find out something that Ohio State is totally unique in and the rest of the country. We're the only state of Ohio where school boards hire both the treasurer and the superintendent, which I didn't know until I went down there. Everybody else, they hire the superintendent, they'll let the superintendent hire the treasurer. Ohio is the only one that does it that we're in charge of it. So, I knew we were a unique sh state in many ways, but just just something new to interest me to throw out to everybody. I had a good one, too sack on a interesting you and I would love that one. The rest of me bored to death. I told him about it, but it was a that was an interesting session. And I

038and I I did sit by the guy that has PhD in school financing, too. So, we went to a couple meetings together, which was really fun. He's school board president at Mil. >> Yeah, it was just just a fantastic want to thank the you know, come get me on that thing. I I really learned a lot. It was really good. Really good sessions. >> Awesome. PhD in school financing, huh? Yeah, >> I knew another thing. >> She down to earth guy. Really? Well, go find a finance guy. Down to earth. Okay. >> Yeah. The people had no idea what he was talking about, but just him and I and speaker all knew what we were talking about. >> Anybody else? Board reports. All right. Over here to are my left Mr. Shmaker you want to

039kick us off. Um first start apology. Um we are taking a DC. Uh so thatformational meeting it happens in about an hour. Go to DC in grade. Um she's been on me about wanting to take the seniors on a trip. I said if you plan it and organize it as I can just sit on the bus and she said she'd do it. She has done a very nice job. I just have not brought that on the board yet. So, I'm sorry. >> Um, but she has we have looks like we have right about the right amount of kids to go. Um, you have I think the itinerary in front of you, the chap uh you can get over 40 kids. Really, it's the same. It's from the same company uses um rating policy. It pretty

040much we we met again as a BLT looked back over again. Is there anything else? I know there were a few questions raised last time, but was there anything else that any other input with with the grading policy or the I should say the academic honors Where did you land with the letter as far as like >> when do you when do you earn it? >> We did it. So, that was one of the that was one of the bullet points we talked about. Um, we left it with since we've never done it, we left it with two after this um after your second year. >> So, we thought if we wanted to it would be easier to walk it back to a one year instead of if we didn't like it to make it

041after the second year. So we thought we'd start there. There are some schools that do that more so do that after the first year, but we thought they agreed that they wanted to do it after. Um so we ended there. Um, and I think that and the only other thing that we looked at changing making it more concrete is under one of the multiple asterisks uh was that transfer students must have completed a sufficient amount of course work and that would be determined by a committee designated by building administration. Uh it looked like after calling around some other county schools um some of their language was uh for again for semesters. So you had to be a town student for two years in order to be eligible for basically that top five 10 15%. >>

042So then that's effective starting >> this the 510 and 15 Latin honors class ring that would be effective starting next year but B s about that. We would want to wait. So that would be an incoming freshman class. >> Yep. >> So the same requirements right now would hold for that um class be affected but you can still >> um other things scheduling is done. Uh just again some some fine tuning. Um we have students that are elsewhere or a change and want to do it here. Just kind of wrapping that up. We're done. I think kids uh we got um we are a PLT distinguished high school. Um found that out last week. So nice to hang up. >> Jessica just let me know that last week. Um, one other thing, uh, there's an,

043uh, grant that got released, CT access grant to expand manufacturing pathways, 3.2 million, um, looking toward 10 schools, $320,000. It opened today. It'll close June 12th. Um, it looks like in order to apply, we would need to apply or at least put the proposal with apply for new CTE26. Um, Jess is already coming up with a plan on what we need to do for that. She's I haven't had a chance to look over the grant uh very much, but she uh is looking into it coming up with a plan and we're reaching out to working on that next month. This is a busy week. Underra undergraduate awards Wednesday at 8 a.m. Borat senior awards Thursday, graduation Friday. >> And that grant you were made aware probably through Battel. I mean like that was what gave

044us the >> head through multiple >> but um >> Buckeye reached out Brian um through reached out >> Cheryl's flame >> reached out said have you heard about so yeah >> box on that one >> it's nice to know ahead of time Good. All right. Uh, just typical craziness at the middle school feels like. I'll start I'll share that information once um once I look

046at the calendar, pick some dates, uh, and pin down like middle school track needs. Uh, so we can try to avoid some of that stuff. So, Especially want to thank, you know, Matt, Ryan, uh, Hannah Taylor, Karen, and Brenton making sure that went smoothly for us to get through all that, especially makeups when I was in DC. Uh, they made sure everybody got taken care of. So, uh, that was helpful. Uh, then that that day,

047that Friday was middle school, we celebrated. Uh, staff brought in breakfast and, uh, served served the kids breakfast that morning. Uh Stew was on one grill with bacon and sausage. Um Margaret Sherman's husband was on the other one making pancakes. We even had a special guest in here serving some of the breakfast to the middle schoolers. So appreciate that. So good way to end testing season and I guess tomorrow we'll see how we do. >> Awesome. Mr. Caputo. >> Sure thing. Um we continue to have some kids struggling in from preschool transition meetings. 049good job um performing on stage. Um last day of school, we'll have our clap out for the fifth graders that we traditionally to send them off to the middle school. So if anybody would like to join us for that dismissal. Um lots of field trips took place over the last few weeks. We have our field day on Friday. Um in Canada I have met plenty of times over the past several weeks for just the purpose of transitioning um looking at now that the schedules are done with middle school and high school elementary schedule class working with parents on requests of various types whatever else needs to be transitioned for principal type activities. Um so yeah uh lots going on. We'll be getting ready to gear back up once we send students out the door. I'll

050be looking at staffing also um in order to make sure I am going to be short educational aid to let everybody know that right now.
