He's like, "Mom, his name's traveling." I know, but she calls him. Okay. All right. So, tonight, Tuesday, um December 9th, um this is considered a special board meeting. shifted our time a little bit close shifted our time from 5:30 to 5. Um so we call this meeting to order. Um if we could do the roll call. >> Mr. Bowman >> here. >> Mr. >> President. >> Mrs. Lindamman >> here. >> Mr. Napier >> here. >> Mrs. Winger >> here. Uh number three on the agenda is the adoption of the agenda. And if I could have a motion to approve the adoption of the agenda. So move. >> Second. Mrs. Winger. Yes. Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bowman. >> Yes. >> Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman. >> Yes. >> Okay. And number four,
during board prep, we had to kind of go back. We've had several meetings lately, which is all good things. Um, but I have number four is approval of the minutes from our regular board meeting. Uh, minutes on this, uh, November the 11th. And then we had a special work session that we also need to approve the minutes for on November 24th. So, a motion to approve both of those meeting minutes. >> So, move second. >> Mr. Bman, >> yes. >> Mr. P, >> yes. >> Mrs. Lindamman, >> yes. >> Mr. Napier, >> yes. >> Mrs. Wanger, yes. >> Okay, we can skip number five. Do we not have any public participation this evening? >> Um, and number six on the agenda. Um, like I mentioned in prayer, um, special accommodations. Um, I don't know that

from FBA for snacks and supplies for staff during American Education Week. Um and $1,000 anonymous um donation to the f food service for unpaid lunch fees. I'm going to continue. You guys are going to have to hear me for just a few minutes here. Um, again, we just, you know, really shout out to all of our community partners, especially here tonight, PTO and FEA for all the things they help fund and keep keep us moving. Um, okay. B. Motion to approve the following fall student accompl accomplishments. Um, in our spelling B, um, these students will they are coming out of our local spelling bee and will be moving on to the county spelling be. That's the next step for them. Um, in fifth grade we had Parker Fern. In sixth grade we had Cross Atkins.
In seventh grade we had Sophia Workman. And in eighth grade we'd had Carson Atkins. If those are siblings, they must practice some spelling at home. That's pretty cool. >> Okay. Yeah, >> I love that. >> In athletics, um, boys cross country. That seems like it's been a minute ago, but really was just this last fall. Lincoln Snider, first team KAK. So, need a motion to approve all of those accommodation or accommodations, please. >> So, move second. >> Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bman, >> yes. >> Mrs. Lenderman, >> yes. >> Mr. May, >> yes. >> Mrs. Winger, >> yes. >> Okay. Item number seven is our treasures report and then we'll move into number eight, which the treasur's consent agenda. >> Um expenses for the month of
November exceeded revenue by 718,000. Uh payroll total 938,000 which was almost about 78,000 higher than last November. Um we did have several large expenditures during the month of November that total right around close to 780,000. Um we had um our bond payment which this bond payment of the 2006 that will expire in 2028. This one that payment was 462,000. Then we have OASPO which will expire next year. That's 114,000. Organ Foods was right around almost was 12,000. And then the Knox County ESC those are all just specialized services. Does not include I have not received yet the invoice for speech or OT and that was um 78,000 and then we did have one purchase of curriculum. Um I gave you a bunch of the rates for insurance not insurance but um interest rates that we
have received over the last three years. I do anticipate it as um interest is going to continue to go down as the year goes forward. Um I don't expected to be nearly as high as it was last year. The last month we got um 17,000 and I'm I'm estimating we're going to get pretty much that from moving out. We're not going to be seeing in the 20,000s anymore. Um the other item that I wanted to go over was that I did get confirmation today that the audit is complete. Um so you should be receiving your post audit reports uh they said before Christmas. Um, so everything will be filed and then as of they said probably right around March then it'll be available on the auditor of states website that it'll be complete then um
but there were no issues so that is a good um that was good and that's all that I have. >> Okay. Can you explain a little bit of what you shared with Paul and I in board prep? >> Yes. Be proud. Yeah, it's good. It's good stuff. >> If because the audit, it is a clean audit, but because we do not do GAP, that is the reason that I will not receive the auditor state award. If we did GAP, I the district would be receiving the auditor state award this year. So, um, >> and we're not required to do GAP. >> We are not. >> And GAP is like an inventory, >> correct? It's it's a cash basis cash basis for all inventory and because we do a cash basis on our own we take
the penalty rather than having um gap. So the gap penalty is not more than it's between 8 and 10,000 where the audit itself would be another 20 to 30,000. >> Yeah. That's the big thing. >> That's the big >> I told her I was going to make her a certificate but I didn't. >> I could hand write one but and Donna and Renee deserve it. >> Yes. Yes, it is a team effort. >> It is It is a team effort. So, yeah. So, the audit is complete and I'm It's always a >> always a good feeling. And they did not come on site once this year, which was kind of weird but nice all at the same time. They did everything remote. Gave them full access so they could go in and pull whatever they
needed and look at anything. So, >> we do the same with our insurance audit. Like, it used to be a guy would come in and it's all >> it's all remote now. >> Yeah. >> It's interesting. >> So, >> I'm fine with it. >> They want I told them they they wanted to come in, I'd provide a room for them, but they didn't need to come in. So, >> yeah, >> it's all good. I had just a couple things I asked Heather at the beginning were just little nothing exciting, but on the um the fund sheet that she gives us, you know, and these have been on here forever. It's not like they all of a sudden popped up, but you know, our Freddy closet, I just had kind of asked about, you know, what
that looks like. We haven't had activity there. Um, and that's just like the school district is now by law required to provide some things that were previously purchased through the Freddy Care Closet. >> Correct. >> Yeah. And then inner church, you know, we had that donation from inner church at the beginning of the school year. I mean, that just is showing it's not hasn't been used yet. That doesn't mean that. >> And I Matt and I spoke about using it for a particular family. Sure. Um, >> but then the need >> Yeah. is no longer needed. So, um, >> and I do keep Katie informed on that as well, >> which is good. And then our latch key shows, you know, we haven't had latch key for all of last school year and half of
this year. So, that money that was from tuition and stuff will just sit there. >> That'll sit there at least for five years and then the board can make a decision what they're going to do with the latch key. >> The money it would have to be a board approval for to move from latch key to back to general fun time. Hopefully we'll get we'll have to keep maybe. I don't know. I don't know if that's anybody else's hope, but Okay. Um I guess we'll entertain. Oh, I was supposed to entertain a motion before all that. I'm sorry. You guys throw something at me down there. Paul, >> you're on a roll tonight. >> I'm sorry. >> I should have asked for a motion first. So, I'll ask for a motion to approve the consent
agenda and then we can have any more discussion. >> You want to go back and we have to repeat everything. >> No. You want me to? >> Paul does. I am so sorry. You guys seriously throw something from down there. >> So move. >> Second. >> Okay. >> Did you say second? Thank you. >> Terrible. >> Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Winganger. >> Yes. Mr. Bman. >> Yes. >> Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mrs. London. >> Yes. Yes. I'll try I'll do better in this nine and 10. I promise. I'll try. Okay. So, number nine, superintendent report. And then number 10, Mr. Chapman's consent agenda. >> Yes. Good evening everyone. Thank you, Mr. Linderman. Couple of just a couple items on superintendent report. If you haven't uh or if you have driven by the
stadium recently, you may have noticed um top soil removal that ongoing track and field resurfacing project. So, um they completed last week installing tile um 4inch tile 20 foot on center. uh working on that. Of course, been admiring them in this cold weather that we've had too. Uh but also though too by uh the first of the year, they're hoping to have the curb installed around the track before before we get into next year. And then after that uh early spring, then that that's when they would start to shape and crown the field, install bluegrass sod. Uh they're looking to do that though probably around the third or fourth week of May to early June. Um that's still that timeline still allows about eight weeks depending for that sod to take hold. So that's still
um on on schedule for that. Also though too, just you all know this as well, but that project would also include milling the existing track and then uh repolyureing the the uh the existing track then as well along with black vinyl fencing. So that's all scheduled there in in late May to to early June. So that project's uh ongoing. It's nice to see some action down there. Um the next thing too and I I provide the I provide the notes from our meeting with Triad architects regarding the criteria uh architect uh selection there. Um the notes there were were at least to share the initial conversation we had with them discussing the scope maybe expectations of the project. Uh they did then produce a uh proposal. They produce that late Friday afternoon, Monday morning. Forward
that over to Mitch, our legal department for them to review. Uh we will then we need to schedule a meeting here with Mitch legal either Thursday or Friday. So, we need to do some work there, but uh um just have that initial piece and we have some work to do as far as negotiating through that and and making sure we're we understand what they're proposing and they understand what what our expectations are as well. So, more communication to come on that as far as board is concerned. So, those are the two um items that I just wanted to give you a heads up on that that's ongoing there. As far as superintendent consent agenda is a concern, item A, we do have the motion to approve the final reading or second reading of the education
field trip for uh the high school which would be traveling to Costa Rica March 27, 2027 through April 3rd of 27. Item B is a motion to approve a three-year contract with Data Serve and this would be for cyber security services uh with an annual cost to the district of 12,500. Items C and D have to do with uh student teacher placement and that would be we have to secure a placement agreement with Western Governor's University and to allow them on item D Ellen Hickey to um shadow Ellen I'm sorry shadow county sports and trooper for a field experience there um again with WGU item E is to approve personnel recommendations for the 25 uh 26 school year from dock day to contract adjustments to employee of certified employees and then also classified employees. Item
F is approval uh for classroom and field trip volunteers for this year. And then item G would be your spring uh supplemental contracts for the following coaches and advisors. As you can see, they're both coaching coaches and volunteers as well as advisors. And then also item H um would be then to determine the chair for our organizational meeting in next year already for Tuesday January 13, at 5:30 p.m. So that would wrap up my superintendence agenda. Let's see if I can not mess it up for you. >> So, we would need to fill in the blank there for chair of the organization organizational meeting and then take a motion to approve the consent agenda. Right. >> I'll make how do we do that? It's really just part of it. That's what you need. >> That's
all you need. >> I'm already sitting here down this end. >> That's what makes it happen. >> Okay. >> So, we'll do a motion and then if there's any questions, discussion. >> So, a motion to approve the second. >> I do have a motion. Um, on the assistant principal contract, does that still keep us under the 15%. >> It does. Okay. It does. >> I assume it did, but >> yes, ma'am. Okay. >> Gary, [clears throat] on I I got a couple questions, Gary. On IMG, that fills all the spring sports. We don't have anything out there. my understanding, yes at this time. >> Just thinking about that, >> but if numbers change or we add or you know there's more >> more participants or less, >> right? But but that at least we're not
>> Yes. >> We don't we don't have we don't have JB softball on there. >> Is that one that >> could catch on that one? I mean, I assume we don't have >> That's what I There was one I was thinking that they didn't have enough >> number wise. >> Yeah, >> we need to verify on that. >> Yeah, I was say it actually might be >> I'm thinking that that that was the sport. >> Yeah. I mean, depending on where their numbers are, they might not have that. >> So, couple years ago, we had A and B. >> Yep. >> Um, on the item B, couple questions on that. Um uh under the on the flyer that came in it talks about monitoring and scanning and it says says it's monthly. So does that
mean that they're scanning once a month or is it scanning continuously? Is there an appliance on the network? >> So there's there's different items. the external vulnerability scanning that's once a month to look and see you know you can access our hback system from anywhere that kind of thing that's once a month including see if anyone's passwords like Okay. Um, so then also the flyer says assistance with cyber security issues. So if you have a there's a cyber security incident who who has that interaction is it data or it is it cyber command. >> So it would it would primarily be us in terms of dealing with CIC or like our insurance plan as a resource. Um, sorry I'm nerving out here. Um, mistresses says >> really >> they are nerding out together. >> It's
fine. >> Just just for >> You guys made fun of me. Why are we not throwing mints at Paul? I just want to know. [laughter] >> So they >> they recommend. So we haven't gotten into >> just M is much broader. and you can tailor it down. That's just from my my experience just I I understand both sides, but just >> one more question. [laughter] >> I'm glad what other schools in the area are and they said they had about 30. They just started this program last year. They said they got Okay. Data Serve is a fantastic company. Um, I've had I've had a relationship with them for over 20 years. That's a good I just I've heard their spiel, but I just wanted more information. We don't get to talk tech. >> I love
it. It's great. >> I'll explain. I will go over after >> you want to talk about this versus >> I said it went right over my head. I love it. Okay. Any other questions or discussion around the superintendent's consent agenda? If not, we'll do roll. Mr. Bman, >> yes. >> Mr. Napier, >> yes. >> Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Lman. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Winger. Yes. Okay. Turn your page there to item 11 and I will get us started. It's our community reports. Um crew center met on Thursday the 13th, so right after our Tuesday meeting. Um and I hope I don't mess up this number. We're being recorded. So I Larry on whether I should say, but the treasur um shared, you know, we talked about potential what what what our loss would
be as a district if all four bills go through with property taxes. care center is a little bit different when they say like their loss of 80,000 is not quite the impact it would have here but they also are funded differently um they're not as heavy obviously on property taxes are so um there was some discussion around there as there is in every single or meeting this on and theirs so keeping an eye on all of that um honestly the meeting um I would say most of the discussion was around um they're also working or we're looking for approval from their board to continue working with an architect to explore um a renovation expansion of their um cafeteria river room um and really just expand that opportunity for students um as well as be able
to have the public come in and patron. Um and that's you know there's a lot of concern around safety when it comes to inviting the public into your facility and so they're looking at what that all look like um to benefit both the students and um the public to be able to come in and um and patron that. Um there was a looking for approval for through the adult education on the massage program bringing that back and then also on a new program at Pier Center around law enforcement. The uh they do meet this coming Thursday and I'll be attending that to out next month. Um, moving into FCDF, um, most of that meeting was around or ADF, Knox area development foundation. Sam and Julia and Emily all presented um to FCDF did a great
job. Um, they just touch so much in [snorts] our county. We're very fortunate to have who we have um in those positions. They do a great job. Julie has done Not that I wasn't impro impressed with Sam's presentation, but Julia really does a fantastic job with um partnering with schools, our schools, and getting, you know, um opportunities for students um through health care and manufacturing and you name it. So, um just really appreciate ABF's um partnership with FCDF in Fredericktown and our and our schools. So, they did a great job. That was most of that meeting. Um, also out of that meeting, um, I'll just, I guess, report out on this this now. Um, you know, the design team, which I serve on, partnered with the project lead the way in the A department. There's
been several social media posts out there about it. You probably have seen it. Um, and then also partnered with the village on the new nativity that's up at the square. It looks amazing. Um, that project was, well, I'll say fun because I wasn't the one that was trying to get it all accomplished, but fun. And that it was so such a real life experience. The engineers designed it. The a kids being the contractors looked at it and said, "How are you supposed to build what you just designed?" And so, there was some back and forth and there was, I think, also some pressure to get it installed before the Christmas block. So, it was like the kids were having to meet deadlines. And I don't know that you really created a more real life experience
that what was created. So, in the end product is beautiful um up on the square. The kids are I think super proud of it as they should be. Um and I think there'll be more to come with that. Maybe I know that there's some of us that would love to add some pieces but we'll see if they answer our emails. Just kidding. Kind of. Um we do have our annual dinner for FCDF that's set for Thursday February 26th. Um there'll be invites going out to that to all the local businesses to um come celebrate. We're looking to add in some economic excellence awards um through that. So that should be that should be good. Um our next meeting is also Thursday. Um and so I'll report out next month about that and there's some other
things but I'll share it later under the board reports. I think that's all I have. Mr. D. Uh I don't have anything to report out on. Uh our next meeting is uh Wednesday, December 17th at 8. Um but I did talk to Julia today and uh she's going to send me uh she made up like four or five slides on Canva um about the new legislation and kind of um just made it in simple terms. So when she sends that to me, I'm going to send to Shellyley and let her take a look at it. Um, and then if she wants to forward it on to Gary and if they if they just want to have it just to have it like it might be good information. >> Um, but she uh I talked to
her today and >> uh she said she had put this together to kind of simplify it and make make it so everybody could understand it um because of some of the language in there. And I thought, hey, shoot it to me if you don't care and >> I'll send it to Shelley and if it's something we can use, great. If it's not something, then we don't have to. But >> the intent behind that is to just help >> just educate just educate people and let them know. >> Got it. >> You know what that looks like. >> Okay. Just want to make sure. >> Yep. >> So, >> Yep. Just for education. She's not >> she's not sharing that on her on the ADF page. She's sharing it on her personal one. So, it might
not be something that we want to use, but >> Okay. >> Um, >> I'll be interested then. >> Yeah. But I'll at least I told her I would at least send it to you and >> we don't want to we don't need it or want to use that. We don't have to. >> But that >> Yep. [clears throat] >> We're fortunate to have Julia County for sure. Okay. Uh, moving on to policy. I think we're still we're good because we You guys did stitch your >> All right, Shel, are you ready with legislation? >> Yep. Short and sweet today. Um because the general assembly is recessed until probably late January, early February. Um thank goodness because right before they went on recess, they passed um a series of property tax reform bills. So it was
all those that I reported on last month. So, um, House Bill 139, 186, 309, 335, they're all House bills. Um, I guess the current status of those right now is a little bit in limbo. Um, even though they were passed, apparently, um, they still haven't made it to the governor's desk. Um, so I mean I think there's a little speculation behind like why that might be or what that means, but then I've also read that it happens sometimes. So, um, not real sure like what to make of that, but um I imagine there will be more to report in a month. Um, also passed before they went um on recess is a couple other um education related bills that are not property tax bills. Um, House Bill 114, which alter alters the age requirements for
kindergarten admission. And then House Bill 184, which had a lot of amendments added in the Senate Finance Committee that included um some cleanup items for the operating and capital budget. Um, some of those were education related. that kind of breeze down through them. I didn't see any that look like they >> Nothing came to us. >> Yeah, that's what I thought. So, just thought I'd mention that. Otherwise, um I think I might be off the hook until February will anyway. [laughter] That's all for me. >> Well, same with finance. Don and I have not we've talked about this When will we meet again? We're thinking when would you like us to meet again? >> I would probably like to meet um next month just to go over January. >> Yeah, >> that is next month.
>> You know where to find us, right, Don? She knows where to find us >> for finance. >> Okay, she does. She's got her numbers. Okay. Uh board members, anything else anybody would like to add? No. Okay. I know you won't be surprised. I have just two short well kind of short things. Just um the Christmas walk happened over the weekend. Um and not to steal what Mr. Snder will probably share, but um it's just really a cool event. Like it's again probably one of the top collaborative events that we do as a community. Um it's great to see families out with their kids and um just traditions started and you know you've got just a plethora of activities that go on and it was cold but I think just felt like what a Christmas
walk should feel like. It was you know snowy and you know we had a poop emoji tree up at the splash pad and all kinds of fun. I mean it just it really I think I'll let Mrs. Snider talk about what FA does there, but it's it's a neat event. Um, proud of our kids that sing up at the gazebo and just all the things that go with it. So, I think that's pretty cool. And then we um I know I've talked with you about Jennifer Williams. She's a Jennifer Williams nonprofit consult consulting is the name of her business. Um, she's been contracted with by the Knox County Foundation for all of 25 and I believe they're going to extend that contract. Um it might look a little different, but I know they're still wanting
to work with her. Um we met with her. When I say we, FCDF met with her. Each nonprofit in the county was able to get a free coaching session. And out of that coaching session for us came um a suggestion from her to get what I would call stakeholders together in a room and kind of get like almost like I don't use Google Docs but like a big Google doc going that has all of the projects that maybe EMS has, fire has um parks and reccks, FCDF, the school um police. So there was a representative from each of those. Sam Filkins was there, Jennifer was there. Um we had a really good hour and a half um time kind of again just looking at projects for and that way you also are not tapping the
same donors and all of those things. So just trying to kind of get us all on the same page in the same room and out of that did come kind of what Nate was talking a little bit with Julia. Um Jennifer has her colleague that does is in business with her. her name is Erica and I forget what Eric's last name is, but she um focuses on a lot of the state legislative and funding and particularly schools, but other municipalities and how that affects them too. And so she is they are going to create a one pager for Fredericktown on how property the if this no property tax thing was to go through what that would do to the village, the school, the townships. So um I talked with Mr. Chapman a little bit about
it ahead of time. So the nice thing about this is this would not come from the school, right? So it would we would be included in that because are affected heavily um by property tax, but it would be again how it affects us as a community and then probably as a county. And so look for that when she gets that put together. Um it doesn't cost anything. And I think that probably the person or the pe the entity that will be kind of spearheading getting it out will be like the village. So um pretty excited about that. It's a free free it's free. Um, and I think that when it comes from the village, it comes from, you know, her organization, it should have a lot of validity to it and just be good. So
stay tuned. Um, she asked for the go-ahhead on that and we all said yes, please. So that's just a little extra update on that. Okay, nobody has anything else from the board. We'll bounce over to administrative reports. Mr. Caputo, you're flying solo over there. >> Still with your Christmas tie. >> I'll do two two reports. One for student services, uh, one for the building at the elementary level. [clears throat] >> Everyone sees what for student services. This is typically between Thanksgiving and Christmas to be a slow time of year, but it's not. Okay. Um, so student services wise, um, we're still moving pretty quick there as far as working with some of our more needy families and trying to get services coordinated there. Um, unless there's any other questions about that, feel free to ask
me on any of those things, the board report there. At the building level, the goal is just as we work student and I work in there, it's just getting out there supporting teachers, making sure we're communicating with folks, you know, what the needs are. Um, we've already started to meet with certain teams. I got more team meetings scheduled um at the elementary level, but you know, Dr. about just getting a presence up there, giving up the classrooms as much as possible, making sure that they know that they have some administrative support in the classrooms. So, we set the goal, make sure we're getting on a daily basis. I've had a lot of folks talk with me and as well about the needs of the building. She's done a really good job of taking the dayto-day
type of discipline things that's going on from the classroom level, which is perfect. for that role, that assistant principal role, working with families on that, doing a good job managers, contacting families at home to make sure that they're informed before the kids get home and then investigating situations. Um, we have not had time to plan at all together. She and I have had not had the time to plan at all, nor have I had time to work with Britney Barry, who desperately needed to work there. So we can make sure we kind of look at what systems need to kind of be manicured and soft a little bit more for the tournament. So we do have a time set and we'll probably include in that we're meeting on December 22nd and I so we can
have kind of like a little bit of a planning session on what things are next. Um, right off the bat, we've been working on the um our PD day, taking care of the needs of the elementary building for PD day on January um 5th. So, we'll be we've already started that work. One thing I would let the board know also um believe is next Tuesday the staff is going to have their Christmas breakfast. going to do a bathtub kind of that breakfast. We'll be inviting some retired uh former teachers as well. I was able to talk to a couple of them recently. So, we're going to have uh that next Tuesday morning at 7:45 in the comments there. If anybody like to join us for some teachers, what have you feel? And that's all I
have for both of us. You have specific questions because it's been kind of like the fast and furious What's for breakfast? >> Uh, variety of breakfast every >> questions for me and your student services or elementary principal. presenters. If not, thank you very much. >> Okay, I think we'll loving your holiday shirt there, sister. I like it. [clears throat] She always weren't able to do our non show one day with our wellness fresh on Monday. So we shifted gears to everybody else. So as well we included in that as well. We had over 53 of our members and we all draw and then there was so books we were able to purchase because of the support we get from parents and grand to buy those books. Um we passed out 200 books on Saturday. Um
and then we use our grant money to purchase. So we had the short was a lot of fun but it was good and it was fun to see our students helping that and we were able to build and they were on display. So I think that also brought in more of our students and their families. They came to see gingerbread. So [snorts] it was fun to be excited to see. Um so perfect night. The weather was great and we ran out of some of our items so we were able to pack up and go enjoy those of us. This is part of OC and we had our Christmas party yesterday. So I think we're pretty much wrapped up in some little things next week. Um on another we did apply for a few grants this
year a couple months ago. The first one was the wellness grant that we received and then we applied for a $2,000 grants for our weations. is just look where there's a need and spend the money how you see it. And then we applied for an additional grant where we focus on an area that we would like to improve on which is that grant was for $3,500 and we found out about a receive that. So starting in January we'll be adding a communication chair to the executive committee. We're looking at some different things that we can put in place. I guess you could actually have a Google classroom for just FBA. Um we're applying for a technology grant that would allow us to um get some quite understand it explained it to me, but we can
have our own little address and then allows our members just to have like a local hospital that we can go into and that would be like a one year. And then they are changing the affiliate grants. The big one that we get every year, it's usually a two-year grant. They're tweaking it. So, they're only allowing a one year application for that. So, we did apply for that. Deadline for those are in January and we'll find out in May. So, we really hope we forgot because that's the one that we don't worry. So pretty good. I did have 11 11 OC members attended last night. So that was that was pretty good. >> Still mad at Kevin for taking that pretty card at the end from >> Stacy. Oh, we had it. Thought we had it.
>> So is it Is it typical all these grants like I mean this is my only district experience like people are like this is >> you're just good at it. Um it's it's I mean do a lot of districts participate you know. >> Okay. >> Um I do know that um one Pertown we were the first county school uh in Knox County. >> Okay. >> Uh that applied for the affiliate grants and from that the labor consultant I worked with then use our grant as a model to share with the other schools. I know Melvin City now gets the affiliate grants they apply yearly and I think I think that's still but I think we're still the only >> Well, we love having you out. It's great. It was last year. And you're right. I
think I shared with you the one mom came over and like the Christmas book that they got last year was worn out. She's like, "We're ready for new face bear and Steve Bears." I want bear and Steve Bears. >> Well, the nice thing about the grants too, go back to that is um it's our union dollars. >> Sure. >> So, it's nice to get you know what we pay in. >> Yeah. Right. >> Getting it back. So, when you get $25,000 plus, I mean, that is pretty much over half of what we gave in to every day. So, it's nice to be able to get it back and actually use those dollars to help our students participate events. So, it's just nice to have. >> Yeah, I'm glad that I'm glad to hear that. I
feel the same way about like ODOT money and stuff. It's like, >> yeah, like if we're going to pay that, let's >> let's put our new sidewalks in. Yeah. >> And all and a bridge and all the things. OC anyway and there are some schools that actually are now. So like there are schools that their becoming part of >> and I was going Yes. Yes. Um I was informed last week when I talked to our OC rep that he's retiring in February >> again. So I got another >> I forget what was his name. >> Matt. Oh, interesting. Okay. All right. Well, we are moving on to number 12 with which is our motion to adjurnn. >> So, Mr. F. >> Yes. >> Mr. Napier. >> Yes. >> Mr. Bowman. >> Yes. banger.
