um every day. So, here in this video, there's going to be some different um pictures and video clips to kind of show you what we do throughout our day and um the students just enjoying themselves. A few of the daily living skills that we do in my classroom would be vacuuming the carpet, cleaning the tables in the classroom and lunchroom, sorting different items, and sorting money. For the coffee farm, the first thing that we do is we go to Walmart with a list of things that we need. After our semi-weekly grocery trip, we use different recipes to make the food and drinks that we offer for the Friday coffee cart. We Get the kids involved in the cooking process as much as possible. Here are a couple of videos. Good job. Hey, Logan. I'm sorry.

Okay. So, he went six of them. Remember, we get to go all over the You want me to pour it? Can you count? That's a whole lot. That's enough. Okay. I need help. I'll help you. Just spread it around just to get it right over here. It goes to Colt. This is Colt right there. Good job. As we prepare the orders over here, what do you guys say to Miss Smite? Thanks for stopping. Thank you very much, gentlemen. Have a great day. What's our coffee cart called? the daily grind. And it's delicious. We're grinding. Yeah, there's just a little flip of what we do. Um we do recipes three times a week just to kind of work on their um measuring skills, different things like that. And then we also do um a Walmart list

almost weekly that they have to go on to the Walmart app app and then they have to like find the prices and add them all up and things like that just to kind of get into the real world on what they'll do in the future. So is there any questions? How many students do you have? I have 10 students in my classroom. And you have them all day? Yeah. Yep. Some of them go out into um the gened settings, but they typically s stay in my classroom and then they go out for a gym or art or something like that, but yeah, for the most part, most part they're in my classroom all day long. So, they are almost like our little kids at school. So, so there some of them are in seventh, some

of them are eighth grade. Yep. Sixth graders. We have one sixth grader and then all the other ones are seventh and eighth graders. Sixth grade there now. Yep. Miss Pal has sixth grade and seventh grade elementary class will be joining us. That's pretty awesome. Thank you guys. Now you know where Colt's at. Rodney, he's in he's That's why he's not here. Yeah, he's at the hour. That's funny. All right. Thank you. All right, moving on to item number five, the public comment section. Is there anybody signed up? three minutes just cut me off. Um, again, I'm Becky Clark and I'm here to give you an update on my son's time and how it went at Resilient Heights. Um, within his first week there, he was put in seclusion room and we were never notified that

he was sent to seclusion. Um, that's against the Howard Revised Code. Kes learned his second week of school when another student got caught with a vape, the kids actually vape. He didn't know that before. Um and there was some accusations that a pair professional actually gave that child a bait. Um beginning of the school paperwork was sent home at openhouse and we had said we didn't want him to go there at that time so we didn't fill it out. Resilient Heights didn't notice for three weeks that they had a child on their in their enrollment that had no paperwork and that they were taking him off school grounds every day for recess. Um has come home several times upset. Sorry, I didn't want to me. Our son came home several times upset. One time was

because he thought his par profofessional had gotten fired for giving a classmate a vape. It was investigated, but it couldn't be proved. He was so worried that she was going to go homeless and that her boyfriend was going to beat her. Um, we learned that the staff member was not actually fired, but she was moved to a different unit in a different city because she had been getting overly friendly with the students in Kasein's classroom. Not in an inappropriate, but oversharing. Hence why we think Kesa knew about her financial situation and her relationship domestic situation. Um once Resilient Heights realized that they didn't have enough paperwork for Kasein, it became an emergency to them. They were basically howounding me while I was trying to teach one day and demanding that my husband or I bring

it in. Um they called me so many times that I stopped answering the phone. on the phone. I actually hung up on him because it was getting kind of aggressive. And um then the administrator sent the SRO after me and he had told the SRO that I was refusing to fill out the paperwork, which was not at all true. It just had been left home on accident. Um once they asked for it, we filled it out and we're sending it back. Um the administrator also threatened to call CPS on us. Um, that day, Casey came home fully aware that the principal and I had been in an argument that day. My son had not known up to that point that I did not care for that administrator because it's not his business to know. But

he came home that day and he was mad at me. He wanted to know why I was mad at that administrator and he wanted to know why I called him a liar. So, the administrator went straight from my phone call to my son and told him about our adult fight. Okay. Um when we went in that day, my husband did leave work that day because they were so insistent on that paperwork that they hadn't had for three weeks. Uh Kate Jared was there and he asked for the med admination. He he was asking how many meds Case had and in the process they figured out that they didn't have the forms that they needed to give Case in his daily meds. This was again week three. Um he accused Jared of not sending it and

then come to find out it was still sitting in his email. So they were giving Houston his meds without the proper paperwork and then accusing us of the three times we sent it to them. So it was in his email three times um not sending him the proper paperwork. I have had not one but two staff members tell me that they're worried about him um in his interactions with the other children. Um my child is so naive that on one day he came home and he asked me to put his money in the bank and I was like why? How did you get money? He had made it placing a bet at school and he didn't understand that that wasn't a thing you should probably share with your mom. And two, he didn't understand when

taking a bet that if he had a loss, he owed that kid money. So we're now we're trying to backpedal and teach him some things that he wasn't aware of before. But the biggest and most important thing is we found out that I don't think they read his IEP. They were not actually following his IEP. During the IEP meeting on Friday, I asked for the data that should have been there and they had not one single thing to produce. So that is what our son went through for five weeks at Resol Heights. I'm begging you, begging you to please vote to send him back to Makic. It's on the agenda for tonight. I'm begging please to send him back. Um item number six is reports of the treasurer. Um just a couple things in the

agenda. There is a section on 10F and 10G that is just making sure we appropriate enough for um the auxiliary gem that we've already procured through the building project. So this is just a pay art portion of it. And then there is on 10M we were approved for um a department of justice grant with matching funds. The grant from the federal side is around 355,000 with our matching of around 118,000. Um we're going to act on this to accept it except right now with everybody being on furlow. We don't have any answers of when we'll get the money. We're not going to spend it until we know we've got it. We do have three years for this grant. Um because we have accepted it, but I've called a couple numbers and the voicemail is, you

know, they're on furow right now. So that's it. All right. Thanks, Joe. Um number seven. Oh, sorry. Uh Mr. Attorney Mr. Pencil. Yes. Mrs. Hidinger. Mr. Lovely. Yes. Mr. Waynefield. All right. I have the seven super reports. All right. Moving on to the board committee reports and policy committee. We did meet um any update. Yeah. We met. We did have fireworks tonight. We have finance um and we talked with um legal folks about making sure that we're guiding our eyes and crossing our tees with the new soccer public restroom building that will be in the works. So we'll get that we'll get that going in the next agenda. they'll see something just it'll be just like a license agreement because we've got a donation plus using some of the public funds which is wonderful because

we couldn't do this without a donation. So um we'll bring that to you from our legal council. So number nine hold business motion to accept. Okay, new business authorizations and resolutions.
