Ms. Anderson-White. Present. Ms. Gadson. Here. >> Ms. George. Here. >> Ms. Garrett. Here. >> Ms. Tagel. Here. I'll entertain a motion to adopt the agenda. So moved. >> Second. It has been moved and seconded. Do we have any changes? Yes, we have two changes on page five or page four. Um we added um Emily Cromwell to the resignations, but didn't take her off the one-year contract, so And then we're also going to move item four or item six and seven to the end of the meeting, so they were were fall in after um future meetings with no further action to
be taken. Excellent. If there are no other changes, please call the roll. Ms. Anderson-White. Yes. >> Ms. Gadson. >> Yes. >> Ms. George. >> Yes. >> Ms. Garrett. Yes. >> Ms. Tagel. Yes. Next on the agenda is citizens' concerns on agenda items. Did anyone sign up? I don't think so. We have one Councilman Jenarine. You have a comment? You have a comment for us? Okay. Okay, seeing none, we're going to move on to news of note and presentations. Dr. Hall. Hi, thank you. Tonight we have some great students here and also the Oberlin Elementary staff. Um they've done a phenomenal job. Student Council will provide a presentation and we also have fifth grade exhibition. I'm going to turn it over to uh Principal Mrs. Weber to provide introduction and eventually to our wonderful teachers who
did a great job as well. I'm going to go over the >> this, so it's the height for me and my students, cuz that's pretty similar for a lot of them. Um, so thanks for coming tonight. Usually we're housed in here, but tonight we get to showcase what we do here. Um, I wish I could have brought all 400 and so kids, because everyone brings something outstanding to our building. Um, as we were putting together our photo collage, it was really hard to choose just a couple photos about what makes Oberlin Elementary a really special school. Um, I thought about I could have brought our kindergarten who opened their own hair salon and pizza shop in their classroom this year. No cut hair, don't worry. Um, kindergarten had a barnyard sing-along and celebrated Earth Day
by cleaning up our school outside. First grade learned to be geologists, and they actually had a visit from the Metro Parks today, where they got to learn about different animals. Um, our second graders have become um, bug specialists, not only learning about their life cycles and what makes them insects, but creating their own. Third grade are published authors making their own books, and also getting ready to travel back in time as they go to the Little Red Schoolhouse in just a few short weeks. And our fourth grade um, got to go on a field trip today to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and are excited to share all of that knowledge. Um, tonight we're going to showcase our fifth grade exhibition groups, which is a huge culminating activity not only when you're in
fifth grade, but really through your whole PYP journey here at Oberlin Elementary School. It's always amazing the topics the students come up with, um, their interests and their actions. And we also have a great group of leaders here, and our students, our student council is here to present on some of the different projects they've coordinated this year. So, without further ado, I'm going to turn it over to our fifth grade teachers, um, and our students. >> [applause] >> Thank you. >> Okay, we are fifth grade exhibition. My name is Miss Parsh, Miss Sarah Parsh. Holly Panero, another fifth grade teacher, and Nina Ruiz, our other fifth grade teacher. And our IB coordinator back there, Miss Humphrey. Hi. But we're going to have the students do the talking, cuz that's the good stuff, right? So. Mark
your calendars on Thursday, May 21st, the fifth graders of Oberlin Elementary will hold their annual exhibition night. At this year's event, student groups will present on topics we chose because they're important to kids our age. Topics include youth mental health, the importance of the arts, inflation, pollution, art therapy, spreading positivity, technology addiction, how music affects the brain, and more. As an IB school district, the exhibition process allows us to focus on a specific problem, research the issue, interview experts, and develop an action project. We then share our findings and projects with Oberlin students, families, and community members. For example, my group is a literacy gap. We and we are studying why some students can't read as well as others and how that affects their future success. We want kids to love reading just as much
as we do. To take action, we will hold a reading buddies program with our school's first graders and our school's first school-wide read-a-thon to help encourage a love for reading. My group, Animal Shelters, is learning how to make homemade dog and cat toys to donate a lot to a local shelter. We are also collaborating with other exhibition groups like Animal Rights to host a donation drive for the Friendship APL in Lorraine. My group, Kids Need Nature, is exploring how spreading spending time outdoors improves mental health and focus for students. We are brainstorming ways to encourage students to spend more time outside and like having class time outside. Finally, my group, The Impact of AI, is investigating how artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn and work, including the ethics of its use and the
impact it has on the environment. Exhibition has taught us that even though we are in fifth grade, our research and our voices can create real change. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, May 21st, at 6:00 p.m. in the Oberlin Elementary School gym. Thank you for supporting our learning. Do you have any questions? I would like to know what everyone's favorite part of exhibition has been so far. My favorite was is the um researching part. It like we can um find different shelters like no-kill shelters and um shelters that euthanize. My favorite part is doing our action project, the student buddies. My favorite part, well, I'm excited for because it's not it's coming up. Well, my favorite is the interview. I'm excited for it. My favorite part is um I really like just researching.
>> Also, I'm really excited for our interview. I'm excited for like the interview, and that's my favorite thing, and the typing because I just been love typing my life. Don't lose that skill. They're going to present you with the invitation for the exhibition, and we actually have three of the members that came together to create this. Um it's everybody was open to do it, and there was a group of seven students that decided to create the logo for the invitation. Um and it's really cool. Looks different than last year, and it represents and they really worked together on all the different topics, and really worked as a team to create that image. So, they're going to hand it to each of you up there, and if there's anybody in the audience that would like one,
I'm going to come around with them, too. Thank you. >> Thank you. And we always like to say thank you to our mentors who volunteer their time. We also have high schoolers, that's new this year, mentoring our students. So, that's really exciting. All right. Thank you so much. Very good. Great job. [applause] And one more thing, when we mention interviews, we mean like we are reaching out, the students and the staff and the mentors are reaching out to experts on their topics. So, like Kids in Nature, we make connections with Common Ground. We've art therapy working with art therapists. So, AI is working with a college professor. So, we look for people in our town and our area that can really come in and speak with the kids and relate to them and see like,
"Wow, I can make a a job out of this." So, very cool. Thank you. We're going to have student council come on up. So, Randy, you're down here. Randy I want you guys to go to the end. So, this is going to be one and we're going to go this way to the end. One, two three three four We have five here. We have six. seven Yeah. You're going to start off by just saying, "Hi, my name is Kylie. I'm in third grade." Okay? Not third grade. You're in fourth grade. No, you're not. Yeah, in the morning class today. So, remember you're going to say your name and your grade. We're going to pass the microphone down this way, okay? Just your name and your grade. Ms. Ruiz and I are also the student council
advisers. So, again, we're going to have the students do the talking. Hi, my name is Kylie and I'm in fourth grade. Hi, my name is Nora and I'm in third and I'm in third grade. Hi, my name is Ella and I'm in third grade. Hi, my name is Maya and I'm in fifth grade. Hi, my name is Austin and I'm in the fourth grade. Hi, my name is Orion and I'm in third grade. Hi, my name is Sophia and I'm in fifth grade. Hi, my name is Jared and I'm in third grade. Hi, my name Hi, my name is Kylan and I'm in third grade. Hi, my name is Randy. I'm in fifth grade. Student Council has been a part of OES for 5 years now. It is a student-led group made up of third,
fourth, and fifth graders. Being in Student Council is a big responsibility because we work hard to help our school community. To join Student Council, each of us had to be elected by our homeroom classes. We were chosen because we show the RISE model every day by being responsible, involved, shape safe, and empathetic empathetic. Student Council members made special tie-dye shirts with our school's RISE model on them. The bright colors help us stand out and show what it means to be a leader at our school. When we wear our shirts, we are reminding others to RISE. We hope it encourages more students to join Student Council, get involved, and help our school make a better place. Thank you, Mrs. Newcomb, for helping us create these fun t-shirts. In December, we held a winter collection drive for
our students and community. Some of the items we collected were hats, gloves, and socks. In February, we celebrated Black History Month by holding an annual school-wide poster contest. We also opened it up to the students where all grade levels could participate in a poster contest centered around Black History. We had student winners all the way from preschool to fifth grade. Classrooms and individual students decorated posters to honor important black figures in history. We judged the posters in three different categories: people's choice fan favorite, most creative, and most informational. The winners received gift cards from Ms. Webber to the Apollo movie theaters. We decorated a flower pot during the Eagle Olympics reminding everyone that we have the power to help the planet grow. We wrote motivational notes for the third, fourth, and fifth graders to encourage
them to try their best on the Ohio State test. We hope these notes help ease their nerves and gave them courage. We've done so much this year and we're excited to see what next year brings. Thank you for having us tonight. Do you have any questions? I just want to say thank you so much to all of the students for coming today. Um having you guys come and present is my favorite part about being on the school board and you all did such a wonderful job. Thank you so much. >> I just want to tell you how much I love your t-shirts. They are wonderful. Love them. We're very proud of you. Thank you parents too for bringing them as well and your support. Um we understand it you know you're behind them as well
and appreciate all the support provided us um the students and also the school district as well. Thank you. >> [applause] >> Thank you. I loved it when we were clapping for them they were clapping also. No, no. This is for you. And just like Bye. Bye guys. Thank you for coming. Just like that the room emptied. Just push it in. It's magic. >> I mean emptied. There you go. All right. I think Thank Thank you. Slide it down a little more. Slide the microphone down in the case a little more. A [laughter] super Steve shirt. There we go. Yeah, super Steve. >> If it breaks, it's not my fault. She said, "If it breaks, it's not my fault." >> [snorts] >> That is funny. Thank you for coming. We have a few more announcements to
make um for the school district as well. We'd like to announce our spring music and art festival starting at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday with Overland. It will start off with the Overland Rotary pancake breakfast. At also the start time of the Lexington Middle School band performance. 018the community members. I'd also like to tell to say congratulations to Mr. Austin Smith and the entire cast and crew of the drama club's performance of Mama Mia in April. It was one of the most successful performances to date. Um sold out audience. Um they did a phenomenal job um singing. I saw a few board members there. It was one of the best performances I've seen. We also like to thank the donations that came through for the set including our very own Carol Floral and Gift Shop. They always do a nice job and we appreciate all that all they do for our school and community as well. We also like to announce our groundbreaking ceremony for the new middle school will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June the 4th behind Overland Elementary School. All are welcome to attend. We will have several um speakers there as well. Well, and we have We'll have some guest speakers coming back returning to
us um some Lincoln Middle School alumni will come back and also say a few words there too as well. And next we'd like to announce and welcome our student board members um that we selected. We have selected Our one of the initiatives we had this year was having more student voice on the student board. Um we had a couple board members help um initiate some um guidelines for student board members and we selected three individuals for the play that role for us for next year starting September to June. Um Liam Stegel, Josie Murray, and our alternate is Marcus Plenisky. Uh we do not have a We do not have a JVS rep at this time, but we're hoping in the future we'll expand it to JVS as well. But welcome our two um board members
and also alternates. Um they'll be taking um seats here in September and joining our board and an orientation in August. Um, they did a great job in our interview process and phenomenal um, we'd like to welcome aboard and we'll have an orientation with them all set for August. Next we have facilities update. Um, and I'll turn over to Mr. Nicola as well provide facility update. Um, as you can see most of our projects going well and within the budget pieces [clears throat] and a lot of construction things are going minus. Good evening. How's everyone? Good. How are you? Well, right now I'm pleased to report we're on schedule and we're on budget. Excellent. Um, if you haven't uh, driven by the site you probably haven't noticed that the construction trailers are in. Working on that
parking lot, some tree clearing still going on. Uh, most of the building pad is done. Working on foundations. They cut the roadway in from Pleasant Street. So, it's moving along just fine in spite of some of the rain we had and some other issues. Thanks to Steve we have a webcam set up so you can get online and you can uh, watch watch how the building progresses anytime you choose. As far as the budget, we're on budget. Um, there's a few things on your agenda tonight uh, that do impact the budget. Um, one is an amendment with TDA. Original contract with TDA has a provision that if the construction budget goes up their fee would be renegotiated and would go up accordingly. Um, when we negotiate the first agreement with them, we set the budget
low. We based it on what the OFCC was willing to fund. We knew there was going to be additional work. For example, the board offices. The OFCC doesn't fund that so we knew it would go up. We didn't know how much it would go up. Our budget was 30 million and somebody suggested just base their fee on the the million and we said that's really not fair. Let's wait and see what happens. So, TDA agreed to that. So, I think it was the last meeting we presented the overview of the budget. The construction budget's 27.something million. So, we had to go back with TDA and negotiate an increase for them based on that. Uh I'm pleased to report that number one, we anticipated that, so that was in our soft cost, so it wasn't a
surprise. And we also were able to negotiate it $50,000 lower than we had in our soft cost, so there was some savings. So, we're going to ask for your approval for that tonight. The second thing is a standard OFCC requirement. It's to acknowledge that we've received their construction document comments. We were able to incorporate all those in the uh building bids. I think there was one we might have missed that had something to do with the thickness of the kitchen doors. We've since issued a bulletin for that. Uh and that'll be taken care of. And the last thing is to enter contract with Brewer Garrett. Brewer and Garrett is our commissioning agent. They're already under contract with us, but we needed somebody to do some special testing to get the lead certification we need. There's
some blower door testing, some masonry testing. We felt it was appropriate to use them because uh they were the commissioning agent. Um so, they prepared a proposal and that's on uh your agenda for tonight for your approval. Any questions? No. Okay, very good. Thank you. Thank you, Dr. Thank you. I'd like to encourage our community members um believe May 1st it'll go live with the camera and just like at OES uh when we were constructing a facility. Um so, parents and community members will be able to go on our website and view progress on on the job site as well. And close my report. Thank you, Dr. Hall. So, next we will move on to action items. Um I will entertain a motion for board items A through E. So moved. Second. It has been
moved and seconded. Um first is the regular session minutes from March 31st. Were there any changes to those minutes? They looked fine to me. Um next is the approval of the resolution authorizing execution of a first amendment to the architect engineer agreement with Then Architecture in connection with the board's Ohio Facilities Construction Commission Expedited Local Partnership Program project consisting of the construction of a new 6-8 middle school building and agreement, which is what Dan just talked to us about. Um then the approval C is the approval of the resolution authorizing the school district board to acknowledge the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission's design phase review comments, another thing that Dan just spoke to us about. C D is the approval of the teacher appreciation resolution, which I think Dr. Hall will read. >> Yes. And E
is the approval of the classified staff appreciation resolution. Our teacher appreciation um I'd like to thank our teachers who do a wonderful job each and every day and we do appreciate um everything you do for our students and also for our students. Resolution reads, "Honor in the heart of our schools, our teachers inspire curiosity, build confidence, and shape the future every single take future every single day. Their impact extends beyond the classroom, guiding, mentoring, and supporting every student they serve. They inspire. They lead. They make a difference. Whereas teachers play a vital role in shaping future citizens through guidance, instruction, and meaningful educational experiences. Whereas teachers serve and inspire students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities, meeting each learner where they are and help them grow. And whereas the strength and success of our community,
state, and nation depend upon a commitment to providing high-quality education for all students. And whereas teachers dedicate countless hours beyond the school day to planning, assessing, mentoring, counseling, coaching, and contributing to their school communities. Whereas the Overland community values and supports its educators for the central role they play in nurturing, educating, and empowering our children. Now there Now therefore, be it resolved that the Overland City School Board of Education proudly recognizes and expresses sincere appreciation to all teachers for their dedication, passion, and overweight unwavering commitment to excellence in education, and encourage all members of the community to join in celebrating and thanking our teachers for the lasting impact they make each and every day within our students and community. I'd like to thank you. And those teachers here, thank you very much. Appreciate you. >>
[applause] >> We also recognize our classified staff for their appreciation as well. Celebrating the heart behind the scenes. Our classified staffs are essential to the daily success of our schools. From supporting students and staff to ensuring safe, welcoming, and efficient environments, their impact Their impact is felt in every hallway, classroom, bus, and campus interaction. Their support. They care. And they make it possible. Whereas the education of our students is vital to the future of our community, state, and nation, and world. And whereas classified employees are essential to success of our schools, providing critical services that support teaching and learning. And whereas classified employees collaborate daily with students, educators, families, and community partners to create a positive and effective learning environment. And whereas classified employees contribute to the smooth operation of our schools throughout their roles,
including transportation, food services, maintenance, office support, and direct student assistance. And whereas the Oberlin community deeply values the dedication, professionalism, and care demonstrated by our classified employees. And whereas classified staff, through their diverse talents and commitment, help ensure every student is supported, safe, and ready to learn. Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Oberlin City School Board of Education probably recognizes and expresses a sincere appreciation for all classified employees and their invaluable contributions, and encourages the entire community to join us in celebrating their dedication and service to our students and schools. I'd like to thank them for their hours and time um they put into our schools to make it a wonderful place as well. Thank you very much. Thank you, Dr. Hall. And again, a huge thank you to all our teachers and staff.
They are the ones who truly um make this a wonderful community for our children and are the ones doing the day-to-day work. Um so, now we can go ahead Oh, is there any other discussion? Does anybody have any questions? We can go ahead and call the roll. Ms. Anderson-White? >> Yes. Ms. Gadson? >> Yes. Mr. George? Yes. >> Ms. Garrett? Yes. Ms. Steagle? Yes. And now we will move on to Treasurer's items A through D. Can I get a motion to approve? >> So moved. >> Second. It has been moved and seconded. Bob? Okay. For the month of March, we um finished the month with $46,634,809.18. Outstanding warrants were 30 $4,978.88 and we balanced to the penny. So, interest for the month, we um collected $168,264.93, bringing the total for the year to 1,254 $436.71.
For 5-year forecast, >> [snorts] >> um we're down in revenue. Um we haven't gotten our um homestead and rollback yet, so and we figured that that would be down because um of some of the other transactions that happened during the year. So, we're in line, but we're down from last year. Um a large part of that is due to the fact that we paid off the um notes from the elementary school instead of waiting and that that way this year, in my next item with the um tax rates, the um that will go down from from 4.7 to Uh-oh, where is it? It's right here in my hand. Come on, Bob. It will go down from 4.7 mills to 2.2 um 3.8 mills. So, it it dropped just about one full mill for the taxes
that they paid in January and also the taxes that they'll pay in July. So, um other that, expenses, um payroll is up from last year at this time, and that's due to the fact that we're out of the ESSER's money that we got due to COVID. Um and we knew that that was happening. Benefits are higher. Um insurance costs are skyrocketing. Our consortium is changing the way that we do business. We've switched insurance companies, and we've also just switched um prescription companies. So, other than that, every all the rest of the numbers are in line. Um and we still have a good, solid, um cash balance. With the resolution we passed last month, we um have most of the building project encumbered. So, next month we will be doing um permanent appropriation changes because I
didn't think that we would pass the GMP 1.3 as soon as we did. So, um we will get that, and I will change that so that we can um allocate the money this year instead of next year. So, we should only have one GMP to approve next year, and that will be the um furnishings for the building, which should run right around $800,000. And then, we'll have the final cost of the project. Minus any change orders. >> [laughter] >> Um other than that, um all the funds are in balance. Food service is running just about [clears throat] parallel to where it was last year. We did get a reduction in um how much we're receiving for the elementary since it's 100% free, but that's something that we knew about, and we feel that it's a
strong program that we should continue that. So, next I have the tax rates. So, um voted in mills are 56. 47 mills and with the effective millage, um it comes in at 20 mills for the general fund. The PI funds, we have three mills voted in, but we're only going to collect on two of those mills. Um the emergency levy has dropped from 3. 02 to 2.77 due to new homes being built in our school district. The educational funds at 1.3. And then, like I said earlier, the bond fund is down from 4.7 mills to 3.8 mills. Um All that will change next year. Change all the time. >> with the five, um laws that were passed, um so, we will wait and see how that works, but it is something to look forward to.
Um We have, um I have a bill to bring. Um in the fall and spring, we do a survey of the staff, the students, um and we use the Center for Effective Philanthropies and we forgot to do the purchase order for it. So, we have the invoice and I need board approval to be able to do a purchase order so that we can pay the invoice for 8, 8,700 dollars. And then, we have donations, 95 dollars to the high school high school prom, 100 dollars to the high school prom, 120 dollars to the high school prom. All of those are anonymous. And then, we had a 500 dollar, um group of people gave items worth 500 dollars to support the elementary math and literacy night and gift baskets and baking goods for the bake sale.
That's all I have, Ms. President. Thank you so much. Do we have any questions or comments? Mark, do we need to vote on that appropriation right now? Um that'll be part of approving this section, yeah. Um I just want to say an extra thank you to everyone who made donations. Um that you know, that's what really makes the difference to our kids. Um So, no other questions, you can go ahead and call the roll, Bob. Ms. Anderson-White? Yes. Ms. Gadsden? Yes. Ms. George? Yes. >> Ms. Garrett? Yes. Ms. Steig? Yes. Motion carried. And then we will move on to superintendent's consent items >> [snorts] >> A through and nine. and nine. So moved. Second. It has been moved and seconded, Dr. Hall. Thank you. Item A is approval of 26-27 Educational Service Center of Lorain
County Primary Service Agreement. The ESC The ESC provides um services for the district from communications, college career navigator, um gifted support, occupational therapy and physical therapy services to the district. Um we contract with them for those services as well. Anything from communications, um first thing working with our social media, keeping that updated, which Lisa Linebrink has done a phenomenal job maintaining that for us as well. Um college career navigator helps with um work with our students, about 11-12 students um getting them to graduate. Um also getting our goal is always to get 100% of our kids to graduate each year, and um some districts don't make that, but um I believe last year we actually made that goal, and um our goal is always to continue that progress of our seniors and our students as
well. Item B is approval of 26-27 Frontline Educational Financial Planning Agreement Subscription. Frontline Educational Financial Planning uh subscription. That provides programs is a program users assist with analyzing salaries for negotiations 5-year forecast and provide support for as well. So the district utilize that in different areas. Item C is a Brewer Garrett environmental air sampling. I believe Mr. DeNicola mentioned that earlier. Brewer Garrett is our commission agent providing they're going to source with another agency to provide air quality testing before and after construction of the new middle school. This helps us with lead qualifications and lead requirements. Approval of 2627 ASG educational services. This is all turn of specialized placement for some of our students as well that we utilize. Item E is LLA therapy. They provide speech, behavioral, physical, OT support services for our students.
Item F approval of WAA supplemental MOU. That is a supplemental agreement. Our supplemental committee met and discussed we meet periodically twice or three times a year discuss different supplementals whether or moving them up or monitor supplementals within a district from academic supplementals to sports supplementals as well. This supplemental this right here is MOU to for us to um move our track and field supplemental changing it from one status to another. Also change our intramural supplemental as well. Our track program has grown over the years. We have about 40 students out at high school and about over 20 students out for middle school. So our track and field program that we have is definitely growing. Item G is approval of the 2627 Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio. That's for a positive educational program PEP. We
do have that's all turn of specialized placement for some of our students. Item H is 2627 inclusive service and labor solutions, language interpretation. H provide language support for our students and our parents um from Spanish, uh various different languages. And they also provide um if we need um any information translated as well, they provide support for that to us well. Item I is Ripko Studio. Um the district every 3 years or so contracts for our photo services for our students and also for our athletic department. Um for the next 3 years uh Ripko Studio will provide the service. They were interviewed, they provided presentations, um and Ripko provided the best presentation overall. J is approval of the Xerox um proposal um for new copiers for the district. Item K is a 2-month um Edmentum Apex
Learning Agreement. Why that's a 2-month agreement? Um their contract is running out. Edment- Edmentum is actually um going to take over. They're part of Apex, but they're actually taking over for Apex. Um that'll be their name. So, they actually will do a full takeover and um for the next year in 2026-2027. >> [laughter] >> But, however, there's 2 months of contracts ending now, so we need to carry us through the summer cuz our summer school students will utilize Apex. So, this 2 months will carry us through the summer, and in the fall we'll add or we'll move over to Edmentum, which is will still carry over Apex. So, it'll be the same product, just with a different name? Yes. Yes. Um different features, like a upgrade for it. Um you'll have different some more um

Um dear Dr. Hall and members of the Oakland City School Board of Education, we are writing this letter in recognition and sincere praise for the outstanding drama performance within Oakland City Schools. For those fortunate enough to attend a recent production of
Mamma Mia, the excellence of the performance is undeniable. The performance showcased not only remarkable talent, but also a spirit of positivity and community that radiated throughout from the stage. The students' energy was truly infectious, met with enthusiastic cheers and sustained applause from a deeply impressed, appreciative, and engaged audience. It was a powerful reflection of strength of the dramatic and musical arts in our schools. The growth and success of the drama program in Oakland High School are testament testament to the dedication and vision of its director, Austin Smith. With the support of valued collaborators, including Mr. Sanford, Mr. Rader, and Mr. Jenkin, and others whose contributions are equally appreciated.
