>> I will second. Thank you. Um, I don't know if there's any other discussion at this table, but I would just like to say in light of um, new board members that were becoming on, I believe that it is prudent for this district to postpone the acceptance of the gross uh, guaranteed maximum price for the Buckeye edition until we can get some new board members up to speed who will be taking office in January. So, >> I would just add that I don't believe that postponing the vote will have an impact when the project would start because we do have time before the project could officially start anyways. [clears throat] >> Can you take the role, please? >> Yes, sir. >> Miss Kitki, >> I. >> Mr. Fishell, >> nay. Miss Gracie >> I. >>

Can you take the role, please? >> Miss Brewster. >> Hi. >> Mr. Fishell, >> hi. >> Mrs. Graassie, >> nay. >> Mr. Keaney, >> I. >> Mrs. Keski, >> nay. >> Motion carries 32. [clears throat] Okay, we have the We have a um resolution authorizing and approving the guaranteed maximum price for the Buckeye Elementary School improvement project. The resolution authorizing improving the guaranteed maximum price for the Buckeye Elementary School improvement project at a cost not to exceed $9,581,480. >> You just did that one. >> Yeah, that's what we just did. You're on American. >> Okay. So, I I didn't see the other U
writing in the resolution. >> It would went over to the >> It went over to the back page. All the >> What was confusing is the vote was >> Oh, okay. So, Okay. So, here's the documents. Got it. Got it. Okay. The American and Croatian Lodge resolution resolution to approve a purchase order to the American Croatian Lodge [clears throat] in the amount of $20,000 for the prom venue. Can I get a second? >> Second. >> Thank you. Any discussion? You take the role. >> Mr. Fishell. >> Hi. >> Mr. Keaney. >> Hi. Miss Brewster. >> Hi, >> Mrs. Graassy. >> Hi, >> Mrs. Krenneski. >> I >> Motion carries 50. >> Riverview furniture. Motion to approve a purchase order with Martin Public Seating not to exceed $88,000 for office and classroom furniture for the Riverview
edition. Can I get a second? >> Second. >> Any discussion? >> Was this in the budget already? >> This was in the building budget. Yes. Yeah, building budget. >> Yeah, this came out of the part of the of the PI portion. This is furniture for the new >> the new classroom. So, it was >> And [clears throat] one more one more item on that. What were we looking at for a budget originally? >> This was the budget originally. >> Oh, it was the full budget. >> Yeah, because apparently when I I wasn't involved in any meetings and so they did not have all of the furniture in the original quote. So even though we cut down on what we needed to order classroom wise, they didn't have bookcases, they didn't there was just a lot
of extra stuff that we needed in classrooms that they did not have on the list. So we are currently going back and forth with them. >> But we may also come back with amended from a new vendor as well. We we are looking I'm not real happy with >> but we want we want to move through with this to start but then there may be some adjustments to it >> and the furniture that's currently being utilized at Melidge for preschool is newer and we are >> Yes. So we don't have to buy preschool furniture but it was offset by the all the other stuff that we needed. So >> yeah. So there were just things not included in >> Yes. considerable amounts of things not included. >> They were as matching class. >> Well I
know before you were talking about you could you were a good shopper and all of a sudden there's all these extra things they didn't include. Yes, that is the case for CTE, >> which was CTE came well under. >> Yeah, CTE came very much under this. I I'm I'm We also are meeting with the Martin public seating. I've never worked with consortium pricing before. I'm also not super happy. >> Well, maybe that's not a good term. I'm not impressed with the prices that they've come back with. So, I'm not entirely There might be an amended. We have a meeting on Thursday or Friday where we're going to go over some stuff with them and then we'll see where we land. >> You're working on >> as is my secretary Michelle an even better bar chopper
than I am. >> So my hearing this is this was not this is extra. >> No, this is what we need for the classroom. >> No, I understand but it wasn't really in the budget because you're telling me this was not the stuff. This was more stuff than we needed because the original quote didn't like What am I hearing? So what you're hearing is we had we originally we initially budgeted this as part of the project. We needed to put furniture in the classrooms and we said that would the owner provided through Martin seating. What's happening through this is when we got the initial quote for the four classrooms we took a deeper dive into it and they didn't have the same the ask was supply the classrooms asis. When we went and looked over
and said what do we need for classrooms next year? We didn't need to buy any preschool furniture because we have that. we're just going to move that over the the summer from Melidge to Riverview. So, we looked at four classroom sets and what they had is not identical to what initially came with the buildings. So, we had to go back to them and say we need we need things like bookshelves and wobble stools and um different types of chairs, >> carpets and yeah, this so the quote got amended to fit that. So, what we thought was going to be cutting down from eight classrooms to four is four classrooms, but twice as much stuff, >> but it's still within what the original budget was. The original budget was still 88. We just didn't save anything.
We're ordering less, but we didn't save anything, if that makes sense. >> And as you shared with me, it was two primary. Um, >> it's two primary and two intermediate is what we're >> right >> anticipating. The bottom line is Dr. The locker was doing some hard work, but because it wasn't written properly, didn't include everything, we're back where we started. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, >> we'll be we'll we'll have it ready to go. >> So, is there a reason why we have to vote on this today? If it's not ready, >> if we meet with them on Friday and it works well, then we'll place the order. If we don't have to go back, >> that was the line of thinking is that if >> So, the line of thinking is to get
as many of the adult pieces in cuz this is the like the adult that adult desks, tables, and things like that. So we want we at least want to place that order to get that in so we can put people in office. >> Weren't prices supposed to increase Saturday? >> They are supposed to increase Saturday. >> That would be provided we go with the same company. >> Correct. >> You know what I mean? So we may also >> for some of the the adult furniture we probably will but the student furniture is a question [clears throat] right now. >> Okay. >> So it may be significantly less where it wouldn't even have come to the board, but we wanted to make sure. >> Well, thanks for the work on that. >> Does this include the
office? >> Yes. Okay. Anything that is not built in. >> Okay. Can you take the role? >> Thank you. >> Mrs. Rooster. >> I. >> Mr. Keaney. >> Hi. >> Mrs. Grassy. >> Hi. >> Mr. Fishell. >> Hi. >> Mrs. Kreninski. >> I. >> Motion carries 50. >> Okay. Next meeting announcement. This was >> okay. That was an adjustment, right? >> And um then adjournment. We move to adjourn at 7:45 a.m. Can I get a second? >> Second.
>> Can you take the role? >> Mr. Keaney, >> I. >> Mr. Fishell, >> I. >> Mrs. Krenki, >> I. >> Mrs. Grassy. >> Hi, >> Miss Brewster. >> I. >> Motion carries. >> Have a great day everybody. We were done.
