For those of you who do not know me, I spent the last 14 years of my work career as the treasurer chief financial officer for Trotwood City Trotwood Madison City Schools. I wanted to speak to you this evening to announce an annual Janice Dorsey Allen $1,000 scholarship for a Trotwood student. This scholarship not only commemorates my time spent here, but my parents, James and Lavern Dorsey, who lived in Trotwood for more than 50 years. I

would like the student to have an average to above average GPA with demonstrated leadership through involvement in school activities and outside pursuits such as volunteerism. Today, I'm sorry, Trotwood gave me an opportunity for 14 years and as the saying goes, to whom much is given, much will be required. Luke 12:48. I want to congratulate the district for recently being awarded the Ohio Momentum Award for increasing its performance index on the state report card that measures how well students are doing on state tests and achieving a value-added progress rating of four stars or more, meaning students are learning at a faster rate. I know the district has been working on raising these test scores for many years. And of And of course, I want to congratulate the boys basketball team for winning the Division III state

tournament. Unfortunately, I was in Senegal, Africa, and was unable to attend the game. But, for those who know me, I'm a sports fanatic, and I would have been there. I wish the district continued success in all of its endeavors, both academically and athletically. Thank you for for allowing me to address you this evening. And you the information for the scholarship, you you have the guidelines or Miss Tate, okay. All right, we'll make sure we get you connected. Thank you. Thank you so much. Are there any other community comments? I don't have any others. And moving right along on the agenda, is a presentation. So, we have Mr. Chandler Moore, the state wrestling championship. Right. Come on up, Chandler. On uh behalf of the Board of Education, I'm going to walk over there and meet with

you. We want to recognize Chandler Moore. Chandler is a junior at Trotwood Madison High School. And Chandler placed fourth in the Division I uh Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I wrestling tournament. Chandler is the first Trotwood Madison wrestler to qualify for the state tournament since 2002. And he is the first-place Trotwood He's the first-placing Trotwood Madison wrestler in the state tournament since 2013. Chandler was also the highest Trotwood Madison student placer student placed wrestler since 1999. So, with that being said, Chandler is a is a outstanding young man. He uh he has very strong accomplishments on behalf of the administration and of course the board of education. We would like to present this certificate to you. Now, Mom, I'm going to give you this certificate, but I'm going to take it back because there's

a there's a typo on it. So, we going to get that together. We don't want to give him anything that that that's not right because he might brag on somebody. Uh so, uh what we're going to do is we're going to ask the board to come up and take a picture with you. I'm going to give you this so your mom can take a picture and we can we can then shake your hand. Wait, you're not going to wait on this one. Okay, you're not you're not going to wait on this one. And then we're going to ask the board to come up and and Miss Atkinson to take a picture with Chandler. Can we give him a ROUND OF APPLAUSE? IF YOU IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO A wrestling match, believe me, woo, it's

intense. Extremely intense and and it's one-on-one. And I got a chance to watch Chandler this year and nowhere in the world the conditioning and the skill the tactics that that those young men um execute incredible. So, we got us a big time big time student athlete here. That's what we have. And let's have bring up as well as Coach Jeter as his coach. Stand up. >> Louis Flash Taylor just committed to Miami University. He's considered a Redhawk. And uh to get into Miami University, you got to do some school work. So, let's make sure we can HIGHLIGHT THAT. AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS, MR. TAYLOR. Next on our agenda is the Trotwood Madison High School Robotics Club. All right, thank you. Another outstanding standing accomplishment by some young people here. So, let's get McKenzie Reese, Carly Smith, Jerome

Lee, and of course, Dr. Graves up here. I'm going to read this on behalf of the Board of Education. Certificate of recogni- recognition. Congratulations to the Trotwood Madison What What is her name again? Astro Ram. The Astro Rams are currently ranked 39th in the world. They are the three-time REC Foundation Regional Championship winners. They are the One Army National Championship winners and the One All Services Junior All DC National Championship. So, within Troutwood Madison City Schools, we have a world-renowned robotics team. And we want to GIVE YOU GUYS WE GOT A WORLD-RENOWNED COACH OVER THERE AS WELL. I I got to have a conversation with somebody. So, we're going to come on up, board. I'll take this picture. Thank you. I got to wait on Mr. Howard. You sure? Just keep giving back, don't you?

We love you. Thank you. So, you You look beautiful. With that being said, we're going to have a re-demonstration Oh. We're going to have a re-demonstration of what what happens in these little body competitions. All right, while they're getting ready, I'll I'll delay. As as I said, yeah, we're 39th in the world, so we're really proud of that. Um there's over 1,600 and six Well, there's 1,666 teams, high school teams worldwide, and we're number 39. We're going We beat the number one and two in the world. That's what propelled us up. We go against them in May in the All Services, so that's Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, and Space Force uh Nationals at Fort Benning, Georgia, the end of the month May. And then we're we'll face the number 12 team in the world

at high school regionals, so we're in good company all the way around. So, this year's competition it changes every year. We didn't bring the the props this year. We're just going to do a quick flyover. Don't hit anybody. Cover your eyes. You have goggles. So, this is the code drone. They got to be very skilled and uh maneuverable. And you just take it around. So, they have to do a 1-minute So, Mr. Lee flies the um teamwork mission where they partner with different teams up to 10 different teams in a competition before they get to the alliance selection, then it's a single elimination. And then Ms. Reese here, she flies the 1-minute piloting skills where she has to go through an obstacle course. And it's all on time. And Carly Reese, who's in the hospital

right now, so our prayers are with her, she's our coder, and she has to do a 3-minute code so the drone flies the entire obstacle course based off of what she uses. And she went from block coding, she's now up to Python coding. So, she's taking it to the next level. And so, and Mr. Lee's going to Kettering University UP IN MICHIGAN. AND I DON'T know if us going there for regionals four times in a row had anything to do with it, but we wish him the best of luck. And where are you going? I don't know, but I'm Kettering University. She's accepted Kettering, she's going somewhere. But she's going to be great. All right. Thank you all. All right, thank you. Thank you. Just another example of what's happening in Ram Nation. Great examples

of young people. Again, congratulations to the robotics program. You ready? Next on our agenda is the consent agenda. I need approval of March 2026 work session meeting minutes, March 14th, 2026 board retreat meeting minutes, and March 18th, 2026 regular meeting minutes. I need a motion. I motion. Thank you. Miss Adams has been moved. And second, will you call the roll? Yes, Mrs. Carrington. Mrs. Simmons. Mr. Lumpkin. >> Yes. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. Motion passes for the consent agenda. Next is the board report. And I only I Do you have something to say? I do not. Okay. I just wanted to um bring to the attention of the district that we do have 51 seniors at CCTC. 40 of them have already met the state graduation pathway and 10 met the career readiness graduation pathway. That's it

for the board report. Next up is our treasurer's report. I have um two things for you tonight. The first is the approval I'm asking for your approval of the March 2026 financial reports. We did have a finance committee meeting earlier this evening. We reviewed um all of our monthly reports. We The ones that were attached to the agenda include our bank statements, our cash reconciliation, um our PNC general account balance is $390,169.79. Our other investment accounts total $19,541.24. So, our total bank and investment cash balances are $19,390,711.83. Um we have some outstanding checks and so our adjusted bank balance comes out to $19,257,118.25, which matches our um financial balance in meta, which is what we want to happen. So, I'm asking for your approval on that report. We also reviewed our spending plan summary. Um

so, we looked at the the revenue and expenses. One thing of note is we have not received our April uh tax payment yet. We're hoping that that will come in any day now. Um and we are continuing with our deficit spending. We know that's been an issue. We know that's something we've worked to resolve for next year. We also reviewed all of the checks over $1,000 and so I am asking for your approval of those reports this evening. Are there any questions? So, I need a motion to approve of the March 2026 financial reports. I motion. I second. It's been moved and seconded, Mrs. Adams, Mr. Caldwell. Yes, Mrs. Simmons. >> Yes. Mr. Lumpkin. Yes. Mrs. Carrington. Yes. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. Next, I also need a motion for the resolution to approve the amended appropriations

and official certificate of the eliminated resources. Yes, so we received our carryover funds and budgeted those this month, which means our grant funds are carryover from the previous year. And so, anytime we change the amount of money that we have to spend, we need your approval that that amount has changed and that we can spend those funds. So, that is what I'm bringing to you this evening. Are there any questions? I need a motion to approve. I move. I second. Mrs. Adams, Mr. Caldwell. Yes, Mr. Lumpkin. Yes. Mrs. Carrington. Yes. Mrs. Simmons. >> Yes. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. Motion passes. Yes. Next is our superintendent's report. Thank you, Madam President. I do have a few items on the agenda for approval this evening. The first is approval of a donation from the district to the Trotwood

Madison Say Youth Soccer Organization. I am asking for the board to approve a donation from the board of one quick field striper of value of $10 and one box of striper paint of value of $25 to the Trotwood Say Youth Soccer Organization. The Trotwood Say Youth Soccer Organization is a organization within the city that at one time had number of a number of youth from our school district and there are some young people three of them which are alumni of Troutwood that are rebooting the organization and they are working working hard to try to get it up and running and one of the things that they did not have one of the pieces of equipment they did not have is a field striper. Well, we we had some old field stripers here in the district

and as you can see their the value is not much. We we don't use them anymore. So what I'm asking the board is to approve a donation from the district to the Troutwood say you soccer organization. They play their game at Madison Park. Right now they have 75 kids soccer. 75 kids and I believe of those 75 kids 62 of them are our students. So I wanted to support them in any way we could to try to help rebuild that organization because if you've been living in Troutwood for a while you know at one time that say organization had over 200 kids. And that was on the regular. So there's a group of young ladies and one young man that are definitely trying to rebuild this organization. So I thought it would be a an

adequate gesture to ask the board to approve this donation to the organization. Are there any questions? Any emotions? To approve the donation for the Troutwood say soccer. I motion. I second. Mr. Harris, Mr. Holloway. Yes, Mrs. Simmons. Yes. Mrs. Carrington. Yes. Mr. Lumpkin. Yes. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. Thank you. The second item I have for approval this evening is a recommendation to the board to accept a $379 donation from the Trotwood-Madison Band Boosters. This donation supports the championship ring campaign for the 2026 boys basketball state championship team. Uh before we um before I ask for approval, I do want to share with the board that we are actively starting a social media campaign with uh regards to soliciting donations for the rings. We have uh if you attended the um the celebration a week ago, I

think it was a week ago, we have a a number that we're trying to get to and uh we are going to actively start pursuing those donations and they're starting to come in here and there, but once we blast this information out, we're expecting to uh to receive a lot more donations. So, the Band Boosters are one of the first organizations that are submitting a donation for the ring, so I am asking for approval for that this evening. Any questions? I need a motion. I'll motion. I'll second. This passes. Mrs. Carrington? Yes. Mr. Lumpkin? Yes. >> Mrs. Simmons? >> Yes. Mrs. Cherry? Yes. Passes. Next item is the approval of donation from Amber Rogers Dirty Dog Pet Services and Boutique. Thank you. Amber Rogers is a Trotwood-Madison alumni and she's the owner of Dirty Dogs

Pup Suds and Boutique. Salem Avenue, Trotwood, Ohio 45426. And Mrs. Rogers is also going to donate $102 from the Dirty Dog Pup Wash Boutique to support the championship ring campaign for the 2026 boy state championship basketball. So, I'm asking for approval on that this evening. Are there any questions? Yes. I need a motion. I'll make the motion. I'll second. Mrs. Adams, is there a move and a second? We'll call the roll, please. Yes, Mrs. Simmons. Mr. Lumpkin. Yes. Mrs. Carrington. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. Motion passes. The next item up is uh discussion items. Thank you, Madam President. The first discussion item will be denoted as item 8A. If you open your folder and look at the first document that has been prepared for you, uh Ms. Adams and I have um had some conversation with just

providing the board some initial information about the possibility of going out for a levy in November. Uh we want to make sure that the board has all of the information that that um that is out there. There has been some some discussion about the about the levy, about the possibility of going out for a levy in November over the last several months. So, as you guys continue to have this discussion, because we're going to have to make a determination. You guys are going to have to make a determination if this is what we do plan to do, then there's some procedural things that we have to address and um some some deadlines that we have to adhere to. But, what what you have in front of you is a just a summary of the important

deadlines for filing. First, um you can see under that subtopic, August 9th would be the deadline for filing for the November 2nd, 2026 general election. Those are the ORC points that discuss the two different types of levies that the district can go out for. Next is the fund balance from the progressive citizens of Trotwood. This was the original levy group from, I believe, 2000 and 2005 then through 2011. And this group is a citizen-run group or a community-run group. The district doesn't have anything to to do with managing those funds, but it is directly related to financing a levy campaign. And currently in that account balance, there is uh just about $6,900. Then with that, I'll let Ms. Adams speak to uh where we are with the the current levies and talk about that information.

Sure. The second half um of the page in front of you just list the These are what we just approved last month in our amounts and rates. And so, these are our current collections that bring in that roughly $7.7 million property tax collection. Just so you can kind of see where we are. The last Those were um approved by the voters of Trotwood in 1976, 1982, and 2005. So, so it's been um 21 years since we passed a levy to bring in any new just general operating expense money. Um the the ones you see closer to the bottom are levies connected to our new building projects and and permanent improvement funds. So, um that's just kind of a summary for you of what we already have and just bringing your attention to the dates at

which we were last successful with a levy campaign. I think the other thing um you know, just that I would ask of you is if you know, you're this is what you're considering, are there specific things you'd like us to do some research about to bring back to you? And you may know that tonight or you may want to send it to us to be prepared to share with you at a future meeting. Um you know, there are income tax levies, earned income tax levies, property tax levies, you know, we can we can do some work to figure out exactly what we could generate with each of those. Um but it's definitely a lot of work ahead of us if you'd be looking at something in November. So, any any questions you have, feel free

to share those and we will gather that information for you. And I and I'll bring you back to the August 9th date. Um we we do have some time, but August 9th will be here before you know it. As as we know how you know, how the how our calendars go and and our schedules. So, you know, transparently, we have spent an entire school year just about talking about our deficit spending, talking about where we are financially as a district. As you can see, we have so many good things going on. And what we cannot let happen is we don't we don't do our best to try to continue some of the programming that we have here in the district. Now, I'm saying that from the standpoint of Jill and I, Miss Adams and I

don't make the decision about the levy. You guys are going to have to have conversations and then ultimately uh pass a resolution that um that the board is uh is going to actively seek some additional funding through a levy campaign. Jill and I will Miss Adams and I will provide all of the information necessary from from the standpoint of if you have any questions. But then the next part is to actively pursue a committee that we are not connected to to help to help drive this campaign. So, I hope and and I and I truly believe that we'll figure it out, but you know, we're we're just not going to figure it out sitting sitting and thinking about it, you know, there's some action that ultimately we're going to have to take because we you

know, with the cuts that we've made and and and the impending position that we're you know, that we can see down the line, we're going to have to generate some some funds from somewhere. I think I read the other day of the 620 or 600 and I can't remember exactly how many school districts by 2029, 560 of them were all were going to be deficit spending. So, everybody is is facing this financial crunch, facing these financial issues and you know, we're we're trying to be proactive so we can keep things that we have going on for our kids. Thank you. Let me just That's it. We just wanted to provide you guys some information. Thank you. Okay, discussion item 8B is kindergarten readiness boot camp. As we close with you know, some of that that

news that we know we've been dealing with over the last several several months. We do have some some good news as well. We had some great news at the beginning of the meeting and we we have some more good news. The district has been awarded and this is make reference to your second handout document that you have. District has been awarded 97,500 dollars to serve 65 eligibles eligible children through the kindergarten readiness boot camp initiative. This award is for 2026 and we have accepted the 97.5 and what kindergarten boot camp is it is a opportunity for us to get um preschool age kids that are on their way into kindergarten and to create a a said segway initially from from preschool to kindergarten and and work with them within a a few week period to

get them up to speed with some of the requirements and some of the expectations for kindergarten. Those kids will be identified through our preschool program initially and that 97.5 will keep any salaries or or resource costs or or food costs it will keep any of that transportation it will keep any of that off of the general fund because we'll identify certain number of students and we are we're excited about this opportunity. I think this is the first year for the grant. And we we put in Miss Fuller and Dr. Fuller excuse me and and and Mrs. Sterner got the application and and Miss Adams got the application together and they they approved it within within a week or two so we been awarded this money and we want to make sure that we utilize it

wisely to to help some of our little ones prepare for kindergarten. So I just wanted to share that with you guys this That's good news. Will anyone have any questions for Mr. Howard for this discussion items? What? That's it. >> Next up, number nine is the treasurer comments. Um, I would just like to start by saying congratulations to Chandler Moore and to the robotics team. I did not congratulate them when they they first met their accomplishment. So, congratulations to them. Congratulations to Dr. Buller for her work on that kindergarten boot camp grant. As a former kindergarten teacher, I'm kind of excited about about that one. Um, I think that's a great opportunity for our students. Um, to just repeat what Mr. Howard said, we do have a ring donation campaign going. We set up a

fund to collect those donations. And so, um, any anything It's a ring donation fund. So, if we do end up collecting more than the cost of those rings, we'll have a start on our next championship ring. So, um, that's good news. And I just wanted to share to you that I have been at the OASBO conference this week. I'll be heading back so that I'm there tomorrow for the legal it's just a wonderful conference looking at some additional changes coming to the forecast besides the dates. And, um, went to a session today on threshold costs, which is something that we've been been working on that's due at the end of the month. And so, I just appreciate the opportunity to go to those um, conferences. And that's all I have this evening. Thank you. Thank

you. Superintendent comments. Just a few this evening. The first, I want to acknowledge the district's um, winner of the Franklin B. Walter scholarship. Um, Ms. Cherry and I had the pleasure of attending the scholarship luncheon today. And high school senior Chanel Phillips was awarded the Franklin B. Walter scholarship. And her educator of influence was Sharon Jones, a high school guidance counselor. Mr. McCray and myself, Mrs. uh, Cherry and Mrs. Jones were all present along with Chanel and her family. She did an outstanding job highlighting her her journey. Chanel is a student that came to us from Huntsville, Alabama and uh moved into the district and just once got once she got here did a did an outstanding job with just just making herself at home as a trial with student and and she did a

really outstanding job with her speech acknowledging her mother, acknowledging Miss Jones, and acknowledging the district. Uh Chanel uh received a $1,000 scholarship this afternoon from uh the Montgomery County ESC for the Franklin D. Roosevelt scholarship. Kudos to Chanel. Next in your folder there is an invitation for the Prosperity Drive groundbreaking ceremony on May 8th May excuse me, May 6th from the city of Troy Wood. If you are interested in attending that if you just let me know, I can RSVP for you. If not, you don't have to send me anything. This is another one of the uh facilities over in the industrial park here in the in the city one Prosperity Drive. And the invitation is from uh Chad Downing, of course. And he would he would definitely like some rep representation from the uh

from the school board. I do believe I will be able to attend and represent uh you guys if if no one's able to attend, but if so, just let me know and I'll make sure you get registered. All right. Uh next, I wanted to make sure everyone was aware that we did proceed with the issue preview day. And it was a an outstanding event. And we had a very very high turnout from the standpoint of Central State and Boston. Central State was here uh and they they showed up. The president came and gave a little speech. The director of admissions several programs, colleges, the band, athletics, the athletic director. It was a outstanding outstanding event and and there was a lot of representation from the unit from the university. And of course, you know, my

concern was that we didn't have as much community or student or parent involvement as we would have liked. But we we also understand that we are at the beginning stages of trying to rekindle a partnership with Central State. So, there are several opportunities that we that we have to get Central our kids on Central State's campus. There's one this weekend with the athletic department that we're going to be taking a few kids out to um to work with some of the opportunities for football um walk-ons. So, we're going to be taking a few kids out there, but we're going to do everything we can to make sure Central State is just an option. You know, is an option for our kids. And without the the connections, without the opportunities that they they have provided us,

you know, kids wouldn't know that that it is an option. So, I consider the the event I consider the event a a success. We're going to keep working. We're going to keep allowing Central and working with Central to try to get some of our kids out there. And and hopefully the the partnership benefits both of us. I did send a Parent Square letter home to all of our families with regards to the preview day. And I wanted to make sure you guys had a chance to look at that. It is in your folder. And the um one of the the things that I did say is while the event itself was a success, we did not have the level of family participation we hoped for. Central State was offering on-the-spot acceptance and scholarship opportunities. Regardless

of whether your students plan to ascend plan to attend Central State or even pursue college at all, this was a valuable chance to explore options just 25 minutes away and begin thinking about life after high school. We will continue to partner with Central State and and create more opportunities like this. Our students need exposure to colleges, universities, the military, and the workforce so they can make informed decisions about the future. We are looking this We are starting to look ahead. Graduation will be here sooner than we think and we do not want to be scrambling We do not want our students to be scrambling to figure out their next steps. Let's not miss this opportunity because they came early on a Saturday morning. Free money for school is free money. Let's do better, Ram Nation.

Let's show up for our students in their futures. Next time, let's pack the house. Go Rams. So, I I did send this home to everyone to just remind them that, you know, when we have these events, they are free and we want to get kids in here so they get an opportunity to to see what colleges and universities have to offer, especially if they're giving away free money, scholarships. Right? All right. And the last item I have on the agenda this evening is just a uh just a brief statement about the Momentum Award and we have received a lot of positive feedback in regards to that award, emails, text messages, um Facebook responses. I don't even know what that means, but I've I've seen them on I've seen them on our our social media sites.

And and it's an attestment to a testament to what's going on in our classrooms, what's going on in this district every day, what is going on with our staff, our students, and our families. But, with all that being said, we cannot get complacent because although we have momentum, we are still not where we need to be when it comes to achievement. So, as I've shared with uh with you guys before, we'll celebrate this for a little while, and then we're going to put this in a scrapbook, and we're going we're going to keep pushing. Uh one thing that I have been uh been saying around here over the last couple of weeks is that every race has a starting line. And this is going to be a starting line for us as we continue to

push towards 100% student success. So, we are patting ourselves on the back and we are celebrating. We have accomplished it this, but in a couple of weeks, it's time to move on. Well, actually, it's time to move on now because testing has started for the spring cycle. Started this this past week. So, we're we're working on next year as far as our as our academic achievement. So, thumbs up on the the momentum award. I'll talk about it for a little bit more, but we're going to start moving on at this point. All right? Great job, staff and students and families. And that's all I have to say. Thank you, Mr. Howard, for your comments and your words of encouragement. Um next we have board comments, and we will be starting with Mrs. Crenshaw tonight. As

always, I would like to um thank the administrators that are in the room for coming out. Um I would like to I can't say anything but but I appreciate what you do and what you tell the students. Um so, thank you for that. And also, thank you for the hard work that you do um steering the steering the building and your staff to make sure that we can get what's like the momentum award. So, um I thank you all for that. I thank the staff for all of the hard work they do. Um the custodial staff, the ground staff, the support staff. Um I just want to thank everybody. I'm so proud to be a part of the Trotwood Madison community. Also, I would like to thank all of our student athletes who are being

celebrated. Um I just think it's great what we're doing here. But, I would like to take the time to um really highlight one young lady, Samaya Lewis. She's a senior here at Trotwood. She's in the pre-nursing program at uh Miami Valley CTC, and she's doing her internship uh internship at Grace Brethren to help her um reach her goal as a of being a nurse. And I just think we need to highlight our students who are doing exceptionally well, and kudos to that young lady. Also, um to our student athletes, Amaya Welch and Kevin Kinsman, congratulations to them. And also to um Ms. Chanel Phillips for the award that she received today. So, I'm I'm just I'm just happy about what's going on here. You're fine. Okay. Thank you, Mrs. Spencer. Mr. Lumpkin. Um first, thank

you to the staff, all of our administrators, and to the students who read the mission statement today. Um congratulations to a top 40 robotics team, not in the country, but in the world. That's such an amazing accomplishment. And then congratulations also to Chandler for placing in the top four in the state. Mr. Howard just made a point about um the momentum award. So, that's an award that belongs to our staff. It belongs to all of the hard work that you guys put in in the classroom. But, on Monday, there was an announcement made. And if we want to continue that momentum, we have to educate the community on the things that the state of Ohio releases. They released the tracker for chronic absenteeism that gives you the ability to put in a school district and

see what the percentage is of the school district that you're in week to week for chronic absenteeism. As of Friday, April the 6th, Trotwood Madison was at 44%. So, when you think about that, the state's requirement is for us to be at 25% or below. But, what it gives you as an opportunity as a parent is to look and see exactly what it is that the state tracks on the performance of our building. We have to remember that in last year's release, we came just a few students away from being another half star better. So, we just have to keep those things at top of mind. But, congratulations on the positive movement, and congratulations to to all of our leadership, and thank you for everything that you do. Can I add something to that comment

real quick? And I I appreciate you bringing that that up. We We have um have dug into that data a little bit. And it is wildly wrong. They have a lot of uh misinformation. Uh the numbers are off. So, we have And And we're finding this out about We're finding that this out about districts across the state. So, we have put together a formal response with regards to the to the data that was in inputed. input. And we are working uh internally to try to make sure that the the response that we put together is correct. But, just from the standpoint, I think there were maybe three or 400 students less than than we had. Uh some of our buildings, the the number of students were off. I think we had one grade level that

they they quantified it only having 40 keys in it. It's It's all over the place. So, we're working to actively respond to the the dashboard and make sure that what is there is accurate because right now it is not accurate. And that is no surprise come from the state of Ohio and it's attacks on public schools. But, just remember, they're the ones who release our report cards. So, we're going to do everything we can to challenge their bad numbers, but elections have consequences and the consequences of the last one is poor data on what we're actually doing in our schools. Sorry about that. I didn't mean to interrupt, but I just Actually, that was some great information. And thank you for whoever is keeping data in the watching to make sure that we represent it.

The numbers are correct. Is there anything else you want to mention? I see. Vice President I'll just concur on most of what my colleagues, uh Mr. Lumpkin and Mrs. Carrington has already shared. Um I would like to say thank you to Mrs. Janice Allen uh for the scholarship and giving back. Um to much is given, much required. I kind of stand on that on a daily principle. So, thank you for that, Ms. Allen. Um congratulations to our wrestler, um Mr. Moore, our robotics students being 39th in the country. That's that's huge. That's major. Um congratulations to Dr. Pooler and the team who worked on her for the kindergarten boot camp. We know a fresh start and a foundation is what makes our kids and helps them get to that finish line. Um thanks. Um I

attended the preview day here on Saturday and it was a well well-organized event. CSU really did come out and represent. So, thank you to CSU for considering our partnership here with Trotwood Madison School, and we look for that partnership to become stronger. Um thanks to our alumni, the say soccer individuals and the business owner who has donated rings. Thank you for alumni for thinking um of Trotwood and not going away and just making this a memory memory. Thank you for giving back and reaching back. We appreciate that and we are going to move forward with opportunities such as this. So, thank you. Well, I too my vice president sits and concur with fellow board members about all the accomplishments and the congratulations to um our students who are doing exceptionally well. I also want to

just say thank you to our staff. Um I have always said this, we all matter. It's not just the students, we all matter and I really appreciate the staff, the administrators. Um as Mrs. Crutchfield said, the the janitors, the ground ground workers, everyone. I appreciate everyone. Um I had a wonderful time with um Mrs. Phillips and her family today. I got an opportunity to see her um outside of the it being in the the music with you all department um which led me to believe that she is going to do amazing things. Um congratulations to Mr. Stokes and the vocal music program who showcased their talents at Tiffin University um and that is where Mrs. Phillips is a part of that as well. So, I just want to congratulate them. The I can't say enough

about the robotics team. Everything um that the district is doing I can't say enough about and I am proud to be a part of the Ram Nation. Um I look forward to the CSU connection to improve um like people tend to say this money that's waiting for students. So parents, please connect your students to the Central State University um connection. And also parents, get your students to to to school and get them to school on time. Every minute matters. Every minute matters. So um once again, I just appreciate everything that the staff does and congratulations once again to our students who are doing an exceptionally well job. Not the ones um only not only the ones that was mentioned here tonight, but throughout the district. And that's all that I have. Does anyone else have

any comments, questions? If not, I need a motion to move into executive session to consider the appointment, employment, discipline, discipline, promotion, promotion of compensation of a public employee or official or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual per BOE policy 0166 and ORC 121.22 G1 action may be taken. I motion and second. It's been moved and seconded. Mrs. Adams, could you call the roll? Yes, Mrs. Salmons. Yes. Mrs. Carrington. Mr. Lumpkin. Sure. Mrs. Cherry. Yes. So it passes. We will now adjourn to executive session at 6:22. Like this is the best way. Like in Rome. I didn't get anything. That's That's almost two less than we had. You know, I mean, it's just
