001to the March 11th, 2026 uh board of education meeting for the El Spring School Board. We'll go ahead and start with a roll call. >> Potter. >> Myers >> here. >> Reich Derer >> here. >> Bailey >> here. >> We have a quorum. >> Great. Thank you. And uh member Potter is on vacation this week with her family. And Dr. Holden and uh Principal Hatter are traveling for district business and I believe Miss Huber is ill this week so we are a late group. Um but we will get through the agenda and keep going here. So changes to the agenda 1.3. Does anybody have any changes to add to the agenda? >> All right, moving on to the approval of the minutes. So I have a motion to approve the meeting meeting minutes for February
00218th. So >> second. >> Okay. >> Any questions or comments for the uh approval of the minutes? >> Harrison. >> Yes. >> Reich Derfford. >> Yes. >> Bailey. >> Yes. >> Myers. >> Yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> All right. Moving on to uh section two, communications. Um we do did not receive any communications this month. Uh so moving right along to the best part of the meeting, the district honors, recognitions, and introductions. And I will hand it over to Miss Winstead. Okay. So, first uh we have the Mills Long Young student of the month and that is going to Cecil May. Cecil, can you come up to the at and she was nominated by Mrs. Trishler and Mrs. Grower. Cecil is a wonderful role model for her peers. She comes to school
003each day ready to learn and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Cecil follows direction the first time and consistently strives to do her best while encouraging others to do the same. She is kind and inclusive. She is a kind and inclusive classmate who makes everyone feel welcome. This makes her truly deserving of the title student of the month. Keep up the fantastic work. family. Mom. Next up, we have the fine art scholar of the month. That is sixth grade student Maddie Truit. Maddie was nominated by Mrs. Minhard, the art teacher here at Milan. And she said, "Maddie is a sixth grader who consistently gives her personal best in art class. Her artistic growth over the years is evident in her carefully rendered projects, which she also completes in a timely manner. She approaches
004each assignment with focus, creativity, and a willingness to take thoughtful risks in her work. It has been inspiring to witness her artistic journey unfold and to see the confidence she brings to her craft year after year. Congratulations, N. Next up, we have the Mills Park Hotel student of the month. It is ninth grade student Jabri Anderson. She is the student who consistently works hard to exemplify the values, character, and academic dedication that this honor represents, even when it doesn't come easy. Jabrine works diligently in class each and every day. She approaches assignments with focus and determination, consistently putting forth her best effort in advocating for support to deepen her understanding. Even faced with challenges, she perseveres with a positive attitude and a willingness to grow. All right. Next up, trophy sports scholar athlete of the
005month, seventh grade student Pearl Bachman. Pearl was nominated by Naomi Hyde and Brady Shiplet, cheerleading coaches. Pearl wraps up her cheer season, earning both the 100% award for her full out effort, energy, and enthusiasm at every practice, game, and event. And Pearl also received the Bulldog Award for being a team leader and setting an example of what it means to be a Bulldog. Pearl's eagerness to grow and strengthen her skills, coupled with her loud voice and school spirit, really made her stand out on the court this year. And I have to add, the first time I saw Pearl do the mini cheer camp, I sent her father a text and said, "You are going to be a cheer dad." Congratulations, Thank you. Next up, we have the Piper Orchard employee of the month. This person
006was nominated by Naomi Hyatt. And Naomi um nominated Eli Ramsay, an English language arts teacher and a varsity basketball coach. Eli Miss Hyatt said, "Mr. Ramsey is able to build strong, authentic, and positive relationships with students who can see that he believes in them." Eli has stepped into the role of head coach in a boys basketball program and the impact particularly around team culture and pride has been immediately immediate and profound. Having a coach who is also a dedicated teacher in the building has strengthened connections between athletics and academics. The culture around the program has shifted in meaningful ways, emphasizing teamwork, character, accountability with their team chant, always earned, never given, and pride in representing our school shown by our best year of dog pound involvement yet. And if any of you have been to
007the games, you have seen that growth. students are responding not only to his leadership on the court, but to the consistency of who he is throughout the school day. Some of my favorite memories from the basketball season were the bus rides back from away games, listening to him pull his athletes up to talk to them individually about their game, never demoralizing them after a hard loss and always looking to the future for growth and how to use their individual strengths to support the team. What stands out the most about Mr. Ramsay is his leadership style. He leads with calm confidence and a quiet passion that speaks volumes. He does not seek recognition but instead creates space for others to contribute, collaborate and grow. His steady presence brings balance and his thoughtful approach encourages shared ownership
008and collective success. He is a developing leader whose influence continues to expand not because he demands attention but because he earns respect. He exemplifies what it means to educate, mentor, and lead with integrity. And I am proud to teach and coach alongside him. Last but not least, we have a special award today. Um, this is from the OSBA, the Ohio School Boards Association Media Honorable. And we are so happy to present Lauren Chuck shows of the Yellow Springs News this award from OSDA. This award is given for fair and blessed education reporting and exemplary service to our community. Thank you. Thank you. We have one more recognition to do this evening. On behalf of the board, um I wanted to take a minute to uh recognize an exciting milestone for our assistant superintendent, Miss Winston.
009She is nearing the completion of her doctor of education degree, which represents years of research and dedication to the field of education. Pursuing a do doctorate while serving in district leadership is no small accomplishment, and it speaks to her passion for learning and continuous improvement. Next week is the final step in her journey as she will defend her dissertation on behalf of this board. We want to wish you the very best of luck. Those of us who work with you see you every day. The care and thought you put into your work for this district. And we know that same preparation will serve you well next week. Wrapping up your doctorate is also perfectly timed because in just a couple months when you step into the official role of superintendent, I'm sure Dr. Holden has
010given you the heads up that you'll now be on call 247. So, there won't be time for school. Um, we're proud of the work you've done to reach this point and are grateful that our district has a leader who models lifelong learning for our students. We couldn't be more excited to soon be led by Dr. Winston and we wish you the best of luck. All right, congratulations to everybody, by the way. Um, and we have refreshments. Uh, there's some cookies over here, so please help yourselves if you didn't see those before you came in to celebrate. And up next, we have item 2.3, which is students in action. And I believe it's the fifth grade group this week. Fifth graders, could you please come up? Um, we have some fifth grade students who had a
011really special musical experience last month and they wanted to get to share that with you guys. So, I'm going to turn it over to them so that they can go on and we'll invite you to join us to experience that something. Good evening. We are fifth graders from elementary. We had the opportunity to visit the red colors. Um while we were there, we learned about leadership, courage, and what it means to stand up for justice even when it's hard. One of the most powerful things we experienced was a song called Love. The song reminds us that change doesn't happen all at once. It happens when you put one foot in front of the other. This song has been sung in marches and gatherings as way to build courage and community. It reminds us that even
012when we feel scared or unsure, we are not alone. >> Tonight, we didn't just want to sing it for for you. We wanted to sing it with you. We're going to invite everyone to stand up and help you clap and we'll keep you calm. >> If you hear us, your job is to repeat. Don't worry. >> So, we're gonna invite you to come join us over here in the circle, friends, so that you can have the same music. Thank you. Easy. He's like a music single. And with one foot in front of the other one in front of the other. >> Don't give up. >> You're not alone. >> Don't you give up. >> Don't give up. foot. One foot in front of the other one will lift up your arms. Don't >> put one
013foot in front of the other one. One foot and we will >> I know you're scared. >> And I'm scared too. >> Right next to you. One foot. Put one foot in front of the other. And we will put one foot in front of the other. And we will AMAZING LADIES. >> Thank you again to the fifth grade students in Miss Green. That was a lot of fun. All right, moving on to item 2.5 is the administrative reports. So, I believe Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, community comments. >> And this evening we have one community comment signed up and that would be Muller. >> Good evening. Um, I just want to thank um our board and also our superintendent for your support with the current issues on signing around our buildings. Now is the opportunity for
014both parties, our school district and our village to step up and work together to create a safe environment for our students. Um the other thing that I just want to share is I'll be looking at handicap parking spots around um the front of the school. Um I've already seen a couple issues that um I will be addressing with this um village which are I can just tell you one right now that is where the crosswalks are. You've got parking spots right next to it. It should be um at least you say 20 ft, which is about a car length. I don't know if it has to be that much. And then the handed parking spots moved um for the safety. It has to do with visibility when the students are crossing the street and also
015visibility for the drivers as well. but there's nothing on either side of that crosswalk. So hopefully we'll get those things um resolved and um make our community a safer place for everybody. Thank you. >> Thank you, Missy. Are there any other comments? >> Hello board members. My name is Will Zerg and I'm the president of the Y Springs High School junior class. With me today is Gabrielle Kibwick, our vice president, and Tommy Rios, our treasurer. Here um we are here to discuss the current attendance policy regarding exam exemptions. Exam exemptions were created to encourage good attendance and they have been affected in doing so. However, the policy has also created some unintended consequences. The days count against exemptions. Students may feel pressured to come into school while sick. In some cases, students also lose exceptions
016due to circumstances beyond their control. For example, earlier this year, I had a fever and a and the school nurse sent me home and told me I could not return the next day. As a result, I lost an exemption. The policy also affects college visits. Juniors and seniors are given three excuse days each year to cheer colleges, which is important for deciding where to apply to. However, these days also count against exam exams which may discourage gyms from using them. Our propositional solution um is that college tutor days and days where the school nurse determines a student cannot remain at school should not count against exam exemptions. Thank you for your time and consideration. >> Thank you. Is there another community comment? >> Um, yeah. I just I wasn't gonna say anything. I just thought
017I'd introduce myself. I'm Stephanie here from Council. I'm the school liazison. So, you know, you know, we need to communicate in any sort of way. less free and I'll probably be here a lot. >> Thanks, Stephanie. Appreciate it. >> Great. Any other community comments? >> All right, moving on. Okay, moving on to item 2.5 and I'll present your reports. Okay, we are going to begin with Milan and for thinking boldly. Last year, former school board member Judith Templing um asked if I would look into coming up with a program for all of our students to learn how to swim. So this second grade um a trip to the Zena YMCA was how we are kind of tackling um the very important skill of swimming. It can mean life or death for for some children. Um
018so the second graders have been going to the YMCA for the last three Mondays. They have one Monday left, which is the Monday that's coming up. And students um are really building confidence and learn the importance of water safety skills. Um and the feedback from the students and the staff have been just wonderful. I had the opportunity to go this past Monday to watch and I watched a second grader um who probably was able to paddle to stay above the water um at the beginning of of this unit and this student almost did the backstroke across the pool and that was just in three Mondays. So kudos to Mrs. Burllo. She gets in the water. She stays in the water with them that entire time. Um, but the teachers love it. The students are having
019fun. They were well behaved. Smiles on all faces. Um, it's it's a great activity and I know that the teachers want to continue that tradition into next year. Carrying deeply. This is honoring the past and looking toward the future. Um the Milan community continues to share traditions that just make us special. And this week we have one of the parents come in to share Lunar New Year traditions. So the students got to participate in some activities and you will see some pictures there. And then advocating courageously each year Milan has a Black History Month theme. This year we had volunteers from Project 365 once again do guided tours with the students throughout Yellow Springs walking tours. We did have to reschedule something because of the weather, but I think every class was able to participate
020and then you just got to see what the fifth graders learned um during their tour. And then we also had the Bulldog Bliss podcast where the first graders in Miss Sims class interviewed all of the black educators who are tied to Mills Swan. And if you have not listened to that yet, it is really good. Um, and it gives them an opportunity to learn about some of their educators in the building, some that they don't get to see very often. But make sure you check that out. Next up we have the middle school high school thinking boldly. Um this is the um comm music group that was able to perform at the Nulls Park Hotel and that is a unique experience for those students. Um Mr. Hard said that this um this group in 2020
021started with 10 students and it looks like this group is growing. If you happen to come down the road when this concert was going on, it was packed and Mr. Havoc was so excited that so many of their classmates came out to support them to listen to them um do their music. So you can see pictures there. We want to thank the Millsburg Hotel for allowing our students to be able to showcase them. On Friday, March 6th, students in the Sources of Strength program led our schoolwide lesson on suicide prevention. You can see the students really taking ownership in this activity and making sure that they are sharing what they know with their um classmates. So, you can see the pictures there. And then last but not least, advocating courageously. This is the middle school
022high school Black History Month project. And this was student led with many lessons. During um one of their periods, they have a student assigned to every single class. Not all of the lessons were the same, but if you popped into the different classes, you could see some were talking about, you know, black musicians and some were talking about history. Some were talking about actors. So, they were sharing what they know. um with their classmates and it's always nice to see student le activities um at the middle school high school and you can see pictures from there. I did have the opportunity to stop in a few of those and the students did a wonderful job. So that is from Hubert and Mr. Thank you so much. Moving on to the Mills PTO. Uh I believe
023uh this is not for this evening, but Christie has some important dates. >> Okay. Uh next Thursday, March 19th is skate night at Orbit Fun Center in Huber Heights. The bus skis at 5:00 p.m. and skate nights from 5:30 to 7:30. The Bulldog Boogie is coming up. That's Friday, April 10th from 6:00 to 7:30 and then the fifth and sixth grade game follows on Saturday night. Um I think we we'd love volunteers. We're looking for volunteers always. We're also moving to work toward expanding the PTO, be a districtwide PTO. So, if parents of older students are interested in joining, we would be happy to have them. And our next meeting, which is the second Monday of the month at 6 PM at Mill, >> thank you. Thank you for all you do for our students,
024teachers. I forgot. I forgot one one thing that's really important. Thank you to Emporium Wines Center. for hosting. >> That was a funny name. All right, moving on to the district master facilities update. I will hand it back over to >> So talking to Dr. Holden earlier, I am not going to go through this um page by page. What I would say is please make sure that you take a look and um Sarah if you can go to the very last pages because these are always what people really want to see some of the changes that are being made up to both to both buildings. If you go up to page 21 I believe. Yes. So, these are pictures of the middle school, high school. If you look in the upper right hand corner, um
025that is the main gym flooring. I will tell you, we just went through this week. It looks a lot different already. Um but the floor is now they even have the threepoint um half circle painted. So, it is coming together. It looks beautiful. If you look at that bottom picture on the screen, that is going to be kind of the the commons area. So that will be where students have lunch and kind of where the middle school and high school meetings separate off. Then on the next page, we have pictures of Mills Lawn. And again, the picture on the top, you can see where they are building um on the other side of that is a ring and they're building a wall into the library and STEM areas. That wall is now completely up. And
026if you scroll down, there you go. You can see the ramps that will be on each side. So that's looking at what we would consider the old fifth and sixth grade of the stairs into those areas. rooms now have a ramp on each side and a wall. And then the library set area is going to be amazing. And then the bottom corner, those are the restrooms that are right outside of the gym. So, we're used to going into the two separate restrooms. Again, that looks a lot different now today than it did in this picture. You can actually see the individual salts or individual restaurants going up. So, it it's coming along. Again, take a look at that packet. I won't go into details for each sheet, but I know the pictures are fun to
027look at. Great. If any board member have questions about facilities. All right, we're moving along and again, appreciate everybody's patience as we get through this process. Okay, moving on to item number four, board policies. Uh, back over to Miss Winston. >> Motion and a second. >> Sorry. We have a motion for us to approve the board policies. >> Second. Second. So, these are um all of the policies that we went over with Nola. Um this is a first read for all of the policies and hopefully you have an opportunity to look through all of those. I know board member Chrissy had a chance to look at those. So, if you have any questions, please let me know. Y I think the a lot of them were um involved with um rewards points. >> They're all
028administrative. Um there was not really anything major luckily this this time around. Um board member Potter was in the the policy meeting with myself uh as well. And I think the AI policy is probably the one that people might be most interested in reading. So, and take a look at that on the agenda. Does anybody have any questions? >> Reger? >> Yes. >> Bailey? >> Yes. >> Potter? >> Myers? >> Yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> Moving on to 4.2. Do I have a motion to approve the first reading for the administrative guidelines? >> Second. So these are the administrative guidelines that aligned with the policies in 4.1 >> questions. >> Bailey, >> yes. >> Totter Myers, >> yes. >> Riel Derper, >> yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> All right.
029Item 4.3. Do I have a motion to approve the first and second reading of board policy 8500? >> Some moved. >> So the reason we're doing a first and a second during this board meeting is this has to this has to be done. That's something that just came down. So we have to do this one quickly. >> It's regarding >> food service. Oh >> yeah. Food service and and uh the ingredients in our >> Yes. >> We we will not serve fake meats. >> Fake meats. >> Correct. >> Doesn't mean that it won't be vegetarian. So it's I guess it's the lab grown meats. That is not allowed by USDA. So we will follow USDA guidelines for food service. >> All right. >> Any other questions? >> Myers. >> Yes. Harris, >> yes. >> Reich
030Derfer, >> yes. >> Bailey, >> yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> All right, moving on to item five, the consent calendar for the administrative items. So, I have a motion to open the consent calendar. Okay, we have um a job description change for the STEM teacher. This is just aligned to what we have to do for the grant that um that Mr. Hagert has for this program and how that's changing. So he did have to make some very slight changes on that and I believe it has to um do with just the lensure but it's not anything major with that change but we do have approved okay contract with um county ESC that's something that we have to do each year who know that we contract for them for many of our related
031services. And then we have anou with the green county juvenile court for handle with care program. The handle with care program is really kind of a partnership between all the entities of the school, with the police, with the courts, making sure that we are aware um if there are situations that occur. And then 5.5 is the approval of the new school start times. And there is a onepage document just going over all of the presentations that we have done so far um this school year. So if you want to take a look at that one pager that has all the information, it has the times for K4. how the times for 512 and how we are looking to kind of a K12 busing and then again all of um the reasons why we are are
032trying to make this change. Does anybody have any questions about any of those items in the calendar? Hi, I just want to thank our administration again for the work they put into um all of the documentation and information presented regarding school start times. Um it will be an adjustment. Um but my understanding is that this is kind of the first piece of a bigger puzzle um for us to become more efficient and allowing our students more opportunities. So, um I appreciate our transportation department working with them as well. Um and start now training your children to come to school a little earlier. I know I'm going to have to. All right. So, no questions or anything. All right. Call vote. >> Myers, >> yes. >> Reg? >> Yes. >> Bailey, >> yes. >> Motion passes
033four to zero. >> Right. Moving on to the financial calendar. Do I have a motion to open the financial consent calendar? >> Second. >> Um, yes. >> Two items tonight. We have the finance report from January. No real surprises there. Uh, the only thing that would really stand out would be our advances from the county. Normally, we have one in January. There was not one in January. advanced come until February. So if you look down that is the biggest difference between our budget versus actual um and then again uh one of the changes will be we're getting more income taxes than what we had originally based before which is a good thing. It means everybody's making more money we have anticipated. Um so those are the highlights on the finance report and then um 6.3
034the approval resolution accepting the amount of rates authorized for necessary tax levies. So the um we already did this once but the county auditor found an error. Uh this is actually a countywide thing. Uh for us it was a small impact but it's a little bit more money. So, an additional $30,000 for a year on the resolution. Just something that we need to approve. Again, are there any questions about this? >> Harrison, >> yes. >> Recogver, >> yes. >> Bailey, >> yes. >> Myers, >> yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. Item seven is the consent calendar for personnel. I have a motion to open the consent calendar. Okay board, these are t typical consent calendar items. I will say that if you look at the one that says nonrenewals of supplementals, that is something
035that we do um each year with our athletic supplementals. So those aren't people saying, "Hey, I don't want to to do this." We just do this every year. So that list is long but everything is small from year to year. >> Any questions? >> Reich Derfer. >> Yes. >> Bailey. >> Yes. >> Myers. >> Yes. >> Arizona. >> Yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> All right. Into the home stretch uh with board communications. Uh so we'll go ahead and start with 8.1 which is the YSDC report. Um, uh, board member CL is not here this evening and as well as Dr. Holden. Dr. Holden did attach the YSDC agenda items for the last two meetings. Um, but I do have um some discussion for our board for this evening regarding uh, YSDC and
036our representation there. Um, so I just want to kind of give a little bit of a background of um, our representation that we've had. Uh, so Dr. Holden. She represents uh the district as the ex officio member and um she attends the meetings but she advises during the meetings but she is not a voting member. Um at our February 18th regular board meeting um board member Potter had indicated that she had been unable to attend uh the most recent YSDC meetings. Um, and then so after our February 18th committee meeting meeting, I spoke with her and asked if she could let me know if she was unable to attend uh future meetings, which she agreed. On February 25th, I followed up with a reminder email about our conversations and the importance of the Y uh
037DC attendance. YSDC met on March 3rd. Dr. Holden was present, but we did not have a voting member present. uh that email or that evening, I emailed the YSDC executive director to obtain this year's attendance records. I was told that the district uh only had a representative uh present to vote at one of the last eight YSDC meetings and that no prior notification YSDC was provided, meaning that those absences were no call, no show or unexcused. Um, on March 4th, our agenda planning team met and agreed that this needed to be addressed prior to the next YSDC meeting on April 7th, which leaves us with discussing this issue tonight. Uh, then on March 5th, I had a phone conversation with YSDC's executive director and apologized for a lack of representation and indicated that we would
038discuss this at our next regular board meeting. She confirmed that the next step, if we chose to do so, would be for us to recommend to YSDC a new district representative. Unfortunately, board member Plotter is absent this evening, but I do want to be transparent in the fact that I spoke with her on March 5th as a courtesy to let her know this conversation would have to happen at our meeting this evening while she was on vacation. Uh, she indicated that she would provide a written statement for our discussion. Um, but as of this evening, I've yet to receive that written statement. Um, so I guess for our discussion purposes here, I just wanted to provide that timeline of how things have evolved with YSDC um, and get your opinions on how we should move
039forward. I think my recommendation is that we discuss appointment. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does anybody want to do DC? So they meet uh the first I believe it's the first Tuesday of the month unless um unless that week falls on a holiday like say Memorial Day then it's the second Tuesday of the month and the meetings are from 4:30 to 6. Um my understanding is it's a light commitment in terms of preparation. Does anybody have any desire to volunteer for that? >> No. No. Okay, I can do it. Um I will um >> Does it have to be like one one person? >> I believe it has to be one person. Yeah, I don't think we can have like a sub go and be the be a sit in. Well, um, so we'll reassess all
040of this again at the beginning of next year. So, um, I I will I'll be able to take that on for the remainder of this year. So, >> thank you. >> So, 8.2 then. So, do I have a motion to um appoint myself as the uh 2026 YC representative? >> Second. All right. Harrison, >> yes. Greg, >> yes. >> Baby, >> yes. >> Myers, >> yes. >> Motion passes four to zero. >> All right. Moving on to the village of Villa Springs. We on report. So, I attached Dr. pulled in reached out to uh village council and um had a really great school map uh map detailed of of all of the areas around surrounding our schools that need attention for various crosswalks um speed limit signs. Um I had the opportunity also to drive
041around with Minty Miller who was here earlier giving community comments. I do appreciate her attentiveness to this issue. Um, so just know that we are working with the village to um try to address some of these uh areas at least temporarily while we're going through construction. Um, and then definitely more so later after construction is finished. We'll have more permanent uh safety solutions. That's it for the village leazison report. Let's move on to any questions uh legislative report. So, I um I posted I try to post every month three things you can do to help stand up for public education in Ohio. So, those are posted on the meeting agenda, but what I wanted to talk about tonight is what I'm kind of worried about. And the number one piece of legislation I'm worried about
042right now is House Bill 485, the Baby Olympia Act. Um, this bill proposes new requirements for human growth and development instruction with a prolife plant in Ohio's public schools. Schools would be required to use state mandated statemandated materials. Uh, there's concerns about the medical accuracy of the required videos. The videos come from an anti-abortion group and the videos may not be appropriate for fifth graders. It has passed the House and it's in the Senate right now. So, we need to email um state senator and anybody else really who can on the Senate front to convince them that this is not a good idea. I have a daughter who will be in the three next year and I can't imagine her watching a video like this and then I I just think it's really scary to
043be forced to show this in a public school during school day and it's not really representing all views. Oops. The other bill that I am concerned about but I'm not hearing a lot about is Senate Bill 19 and it's regarding academic intervention and it sounds positive. It's focusing on streamlining academic intervention services in Ohio's public schools once again um and establishing mathematics improvement and intervention plans for students. Um, it's going to add provisions to support struggling students. However, there's no proposed funding attached to this bill. It creates a major administrative burden on schools. It relies heavily on standardized testing and there's pressure to adopt the state approved curriculum instead of using what we know works for our students. So, I'm watching this mandate because I think it's I think it's going to all all districts
044hard, you know, they want us to do extra tutoring. I'm not sure how we're supposed to pay for it, especially because we're we're already not fairly funded. So, those are the two reach out to me or look at the flyer that's attached if you want information about what you can do to help support public education. >> Great. Thank you so much for all of that hard work. It is uh hard to keep up with all that information. >> Everything so quickly. >> It's it's kind of devastating, too, the stuff that they come up with. like who comes up with these things? >> Yeah, I just one of the one uh hospital 304 was one that I recently just heard today actually. It's the one with the two 30 minute recess requirement for districts. Um and
045I heard that Governor DeWine backed that bill. Um, and I think there are a lot of concerns surrounding the logistics of that and fitting that into the school day as well as how does that allow for the religious release time for instruction to come in more um and have more access for students during the day. So, that's one we'll need to keep an eye on as well. So, thank you Christie. Any questions or all right, moving on to act of transportation. >> Yeah. >> No updates on that.
