At this time, I would like to call Audrey Souza, our junior Miss Apple Peach to the Please stand. of all Christian. >> I pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Thank you. And now I'd like to call up our superintendent of schools, Dr. Bailey, to give opening remarks. >> Good evening everyone, family and friends, members of the school committee. It is a pleasure to be with you today as we recognize an exceptional group of students for their achievement on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System, otherwise known as MCCAST.

002The students we honor today represent excellence in several important ways. They are being recognized because they either exceeded expectations, earned a perfect score, or demonstrated exceptionally high academic growth. Each of these accomplishments is significant. For students who exceeded expectations and especially for those who earned a perfect score, your results reflect outstanding academic performance. You have demonstrated a high level of skill, preparation, and focus. Achieving at that level requires not only ability, but consistency, responsibility, and a strong commitment to learning. You should be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished. We also want to recognize our students who demonstrated exceptionally high growth. This group represents a powerful story of determination and progress. For many students, this growth reflects the hard work of closing the learning gaps, building foundational skills, and continuing to improve each day. It

003takes resilience to persist through challenges, confidence to keep trying, and courage to learn from mistakes. Your growth matters and it deserves to be celebrated. To all of our students being recognized, you have set an example for your peers, and you have made your families, your teachers, and your school community extremely proud. Your accomplishments reflect not only your individual effort, but also the strength of the support systems around you. I would like to extend sincere appreciation to our educators and staff for their dedication, high expectations and daily commitment to our student success. And to our families, thank you for your partnership and for supporting our children throughout their learning journey. Congratulations to each of you. We are proud of you. We celebrate your success and we look forward to all you will continue to achieve. Thank

004you. At this time, I would like to call Chairman Ron Hood to the podium. >> Good evening. Uh on behalf of the school committee, I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to each of you who demonstrated exceptional performance and growth on the MCCAST assessment. Your accomplishments reflect more than strong academic skills. They represent sustained effort, resilience, and a willingness to challenge yourself in pursuit of excellence. Achieving this level requires focus and determination, and you should take great pride in what you have accomplished. We also recognize that your success is supported by dedicated educators and families who encourage and guide you along the way.
