008I would like to recognize two specific groups first of all we have our elementary book club and while we have a little over over 30 students in the club we had 26 who met a reading goal that they needed to meet in order to participate and compete at wburg University um in the countywide book fair and two of our teams the terrific readers Place third and our smart cookies placed first um but I would like to recognize tonight all four groups that participa in that competition um if you if you are seated can you stand up please and if you're standing can you kind of take a step forward our lightning readers were Kinsley Road heer Isaac Lewis melan Giles Elena Oliver Harmony Huggins Kenzie and Eli henes um and not everyone's here we have

009our students are involved in extracurricular so some of them couldn't be with us um but we have a nice representation our other group The Flying book readers Destiny Styles Brooklyn Bennett Aaron and Robert B Bo Serenity Styles Evelyn maretta and jayen Swift and then our third place finishers the terrific readers Bren Neely Max Cru Max Perkins Sophie and JoJo Peters and Hadley yakovich and then our first place winners were the smart cookies Jeremy HED Kenley wolf Easton King Mason Poland Emma Klein and Blakeley loose um and I had the opportunity to go and see the third round of that competition and our students um did a very nice job representing the school and the school district so thank you one of our other events um we had the future Chef um future chef competition and

010we had 10 very good recipe submitted it was a challenge to narrow that down to three um when we did narrow that down to three we then had our cook off last Thursday and our bronze medalist Jacob Gro is here and Jacob Jacob prepared chicken fajita fries um for the fifth grade the judges and we had enough to share with some of the staff as well our silver medalist Bren Neely prepared cheesy chicken um and our first place winner was Morgan Lawrence who made spaghetti pie we all received very nice gifts um from sedexo who sponsors this competition and Morgan will be moving on to compete regionally awesome and then some of the other things um that I just want to mention we again our read Across America um culminated with our Fund in the

011Sunday uh thank you to all those who participated we had a lot of guest readers um including Mr May and Mr Smith and right now our first grade March Madness book challenge with our bracket and our pool that we're not voting we're not not gambling on but we are voting on um is going on through the month and that's been a success as well and that concludes my report thank you thank you Mrs sacka Middle School principal report Mr Poland Mr manhard um you know with the consistency now with the weather and the students back in school Middle School's kind of you know St steady in classrooms we do have our Biz toown trip with the sixth grade the entire sixth grade some seventh graders some eighth graders and some high school students making that

012trip on March 28th um other than that you know we're kind of getting ready for testing the dates are there um I did want to provide uh the board board members on my report you have our targeted support instructional plan it's on there that has to that is on our website as well that has to be open to the public for 60 days and once you guys approve it I can turn it over to the state so that is the electronic version you have that Mr manart has the physical version of that so if you guys want to see that I can email you that as well um Junior National Honor Society as Mr menhard said we we participated in that the Adam family we do have a lot of Middle School uh students participating

013in the drama club this week we um looking forward to that demographics we are down in enrollment discipline staying steady um you it's been a great year so far we're just trying to take it on the finish and with that being said that concludes my report thank you Mr Paul Mrs DKI senior high school thank you Mr manhard um in the senior high school we've been pretty active we had Esports lockin our National Honor Society did their inductions um for the spring our Math teachers did training and it's called p2c training and this is training that tries to answer the question why do I need to learn this in math um so it takes some of the skills that they're learning in math that links to the objectives in their algebra and geometry class and

014and ties it into a career so it's a whole set of curriculum so our Math teachers were trained on that and are beginning to slowly Implement um parts of it into the class um Mrs Pino and I met with Penn West along with Mr morecraft they have opportunities for our Rising um Juniors and seniors going into the summer session and then next next fall to earn credits through their professors whether it's in person or online at a discounted um cost so um we uh have a Partners we're working on the partnership I believe it's in your packet um but it sounds like an excellent opportunity especially at the cost for per credit um our our academic team did Katie quiz our Communications students met with f county TV and I'm again going to give a

015app plug to The Adams Family musical I know that was mentioned previously but our students are working really really hard so please come out and see them it's going to be a great show that concludes my report thank you Mrs D Mr Townson thank you Mr menart um we received the pccd grant uh I've reported on it in the past uh we finally received all the competitive quotes required um we had to amend the grant a little bit one of the items the glass break sensors the company discontinued in favor for something else so we uh are re quoting those and hopefully have something for your consideration uh in in April's meeting um also touch back on the Huddle Sports cameras for the athletic complexes softball baseball field I have hard numbers in my report

016for the starlink option as well as I just got them today so they're not on the online report but I do have them in paper copy uh the estimates of what it would cost to both run fiber to those locations as well as a a point-to-point wireless solution I'll tell you none of the options are cheap um so it would be a matter of of what investment if we'd like to go down those those paths I can obviously answer more questions um at a later time and then finally and probably most importantly uh we were the victim of a fishing attack uh Tuesday March 4th at approximately actually exactly 12:11 uh p.m. what that is anyone's unfamiliar is it's an attempt a Cyber attack uh by a bad actor uh trying to gain sensitive information

017uh from our staff or from the public you know that communicates with our staff via email uh we had a staff member's email become compromised uh fortunately my system saw that compromise and shut her account down um almost instantly within minutes uh unfortunately uh an email went out to every individual that had ever had communication with this staff member um 98 of those individuals clicked on the link that was sent a fictitious link that took them to a uh it was a Ru website which is a Russian website I'm not to point blaming anyone but the investigation still ongoing and uh we were able to stop that and also to EXP explore any individuals that clicked on that link um increased their security things like change their password and short two-factor authentication uh was set

018up properly um the scary part is even with two- Factor authentication it doesn't guarantee and protect us this can literally happen to anybody um and right after the week after it happened to us South Eastern Green was hit with the exact same uh scam so just a a public service announcement to everybody if you get a link in an email and even if it looks like it comes from myself or any individual that you might know uh if you didn't talk to them and you're not conversing about something hey I'm going to send you a link please click on you really probably should touch base with that individual personally on the phone uh before you click on any kind of links so it uh it was a great exercise in cyber security uh I just

019wish it was an exercise and not a real uh attack but but it was and if there's no questions that concludes my report thank you Mr th maintenance supervisor Mr Franks uh yes thank you Mr President um on our agenda for maintenance is we have currently scheduled uh for next week the three-year hydraulic test for our elevators um I contacted gmw Roofing to check the status uh earlier this week and the foreman for them is we'll call me when they have the job scheduled they're busy already starting into this uh spring and uh haven't uh scheduled Us in yet uh we raised the stairway Landing concrete at the middle school entrance last week uh that's completed the band room uh had a uh 3-in raise necessary in the concrete we did that yesterday but it

020needs to set till the first of the week and we'll put that back in service um a charging station was located and set up in the the Elementary playground entrance for the handheld radios to make them a little easier access and to be sure they were charged uh for playground outside work uh work is in progress by the uh maintenance staff to get the uh tractors and mowers ready we've just started uh for the uh grass cutting upcoming season um the cafeteria back door lock on the cafeteria dock had been found on unlocked a couple times I converted the lock to a mandatory relock configuration which means that you key to open it and it you take the key out and it locks again um room uh 121 is an old consumer science room here

021in the building uh it's found its way into being a multi-use uh space now so I repeat it to accept any teachers room key so that our staff doesn't have to go and unlock the door for whatever teacher is using it at the time um an accurate count was made of all exterior door cores on elementary middle school and high school buildings that uh Mr Miller and I were talking about it and you've expressed the uh the board has expressed the interest in making Old Masters no longer work on the building and the quote is was in Mrs uh in her in our business manager's hands to uh for your approval if you would like to uh re recore or Rey the outside doors so that only uh there would be limited access at that

022time none of the Masters existing Masters would work in the doors and I think it would be advisable as we have put in an electronic access system that has multiple redundancies and uh example turns on the cameras records the access whether it's done with a card or a phone and we know who it is there's no reason any longer for anyone to have a key to the outside of the building uh that concludes my report any questions is that King in the Fieldhouse too I believe it yeah the count did include the Fieldhouse too there's just keys are emergency things only and I believe our I have one well I believe our I believe our I truly believe that our only people should have the keys are the security yep how' you get I'm just

023curious just he gave it to me okay I'm being honest fair enough well no there's nothing wrong with having it at the time we didn't have any other way in the build buildings okay thank you Mr Frank thank you okay committee reports Human Resources Mr so thank you Mr motion to approve the affiliation agreement with pen West University as presented we have a motion you have a second any questions all in favor I opposed motion carries motion to approve the request for superintendent more have to attend the spring Forum Western PA School superintendence in Bedford Springs April 30th through the May 2nd 2025 we have a second second all in favor I opposed motion carried motion to approve the dual enrollment program with Penn West University as presented do we have a second second all

025to approve the audit contract with oh thanks Amy what as presented we have a second second any questions roll call Dr he's not here miss Crow yes Mr May yes Mr crack yes Miss sh yes Mr Smith yes Mr so yes Mr Buckman yes and Mr menhard yes motion carried second item motion to adopt the iu1 policies and procedures to fulfill the requires the requirements of I idda Part B do have a second second any questions all in favor I I opposed motion car number three motion to approve a moratorium on spending for the remainder of the 2024 2025 school year with the exception of essential and critical expenditures we have a second second any questions all in favor I opposed motion carries and my final one motion to approve the advertisement for the solicitation

026of proposal for the Food Service management company and compliance with the pte required guidelines we have a second second all in favor I oppos motion carries and that's all can I say something about that since we're talking about the food service part because I've got a lot of questions about that over the past month so the reason why some of this food um sales in the school were changed recently was because our contract is up with the current um cafeteria company yeah so now we have to take bids for a new one so um that just kind of opened us up to looking at our current health policy and wellness policy through the school and with that we realized that we weren't following the USDA guidelines as well as we should have we've gotten away

027from that a little bit by allowing um some different teachers and places in the school to sell foods that weren't meeting the exact criteria so we are trying to clean that up a little bit we're only allow allowing sales of um items that meet the criteria from the USDA but um which we should have been doing all along but we're slowly but surely implementing that and um that was the reason it wasn't just it wasn't to take away from the clubs or the teachers or anybody who's trying to raise the money we just need to sell things that are healthier that's all I may add because I live at um the big seller in the library and the the cookies it used to be now it's frozen grapes and she goes to Walmart like four

028times a week it's amazing how many grap you get that's good okay are you done yes okay activities and Athletics Mr Pratt motion to approve the request for field trip item a through C below as presented do I have a second second any questions all in favor just going through the cost again I was looking at the volleyball obviously it's extremely expensive to send all these kids to Florida that's coming out of booster funding I saw that it was crossed off out of General funds I just want to make sure I'm reading that right all boosters okay perfect any other questions do we have a second yes okay all in favor I opposed motion carries number two assistant varsity football coach motion to offer the assistant varsity football coach position to John Warcraft with salary

029and terms for the professional contract effective 2025 26 Season got second second any questions we plan why you looking at me oh favor I opposed motion carries that's that concludes my report thank you Mr Pratt Transportation building and grounds Mr May okay thank you uh uh number one facilities um motion to approve the request for facilities items a through C below is presented it's uh a is zor uh the zor Center for the Performing Arts Shrek musical they need the audit May 15th 16th 17th and 18th 2025 B zor Center for the Performing Arts they want to do the High School Musical in the auditorium May 21st 22nd 23rd 24th and 25th 2024 and C Walker has the spring band concert chorus and band concert in the auditorium May 5th 6th and 7th of 2025

030do I have a second second okay I have a question um what is our policy for well anyone as far as using these facilities because I got a phone call that you know an out of District uh group used our Auditorium and some of the adjoining classrooms and they weren't real respectful of our facility um I don't know if you anything about that but it's something that I think we need to investigate I mean we actually allow those people to at those people use our classrooms and things of that nature and then there that was one of my things we need to add that to classrooms on there and we actually talked about revising with the de and amendments to that whole contract we had this conversation a year ago right it was the same

031situation couple monso yeah we have solicited uh other districts use of facilities policies Mr Mr Franks was going through them we're going to put together a policy and bring it uh to the to the committee and then bring it to the board action do we charge these outside people there is a cost associated with it probably not enough but there and I you know people in our community that are businesses thank God we have something here but you know if if you're coming from Union Town or Brownsville or wherever you know I think that's a little bit okay that's currently okay thank you we have a motion in a second we answer questions all in favor I opposed motion carries okay number two building keys motion to approve the quote to rekey the exterior doors

032for all district buildings at a cost not to exceed $3,600 second [Music] second second second thank you any questions when we re key these are we going to have like a policy for how the keys get distributed so we don't come back to this point five years from now and have to re key again lock out T nobody will have keys at that point nobody should have a key but the security because we have the new phone access and cards there's no reason to have a key all doors you can leave the door you can go out but there's no reason to have a key to come in what about officer Miller well I said security I'm sorry Mr sh I I didn't make myself clear I miss that thank you good okay I I

033also think that the administrator said have keys if we're in some type of Crisis and you know power's down and they look at them and say leave I don't have a that wouldn't be good so U naturally we'll come up with the policy and and figure this out okay Mr May that was motion to second right okay were you to Second yes shoot okay any other questions all in favor I opposed motion carries okay um number three motion to approve the second reading of policy 804 school day as presented we have a second second any questions all in favor I I motion carries um number three or number four I'm sorry number four pasbo Transportation review proposal motion to approve the proposal from pasbo for a transportation review as presented do I have a second

034second any questions I'll do a roll call roll call Mr May no Mr Man oh there's Mr Pratt yes Miss sh yes Mr Smith yes Mr so yes Mr bu yes Miss crl yes Mr menhard yes okay number four number five um motion to authorize the supervisor of billing on grounds to revise job duties and descriptions to align with current staff to ensure that critical tasks and areas are Ade adequately maintained and I think we're the we're dropping down from 10 positions to nine positions at that point is that correct temporarily temporar okay thank you second any questions all in favor oppos motion carries okay thank you Mr May Mrs Cru for clim and instruction so I had a couple questions after the last meeting so I just wanted to clarify that um the curriculum

035in the elementary we do have the same curriculum K12 we purchased the reading materials for grade three this year which has been implemented and um four and five there was some question as to whether those teachers wanted that material or not but we were talking about in the future adding you know buying that correct I think we discussed it following that third grade class cuz then they should have had it all the way they would had the same program from kindergarten all the way through so and then the math program does go k Mrs sacko correct it goes from K all the way through the elementary to five they're all on the same program and the biggest grrip from the teachers at the beginning of the year was lack of um training on that program

036and during one of the inservice days they did get the training that they were needing so we they received training but it wasn't dur in service it was only it was a condensed training it was the best that we could do because um giving a contract with the company to not have to pay anymore um it is a virtual training which is what they would have done anyway but it was rolled from a day into a half day training um and then we covered with Subs so they did receive the training it wasn't done during any service day okay so we need further training in that area um I'm working with that company I mean if we if people move grade levels um or there would be any new staff I know we're we're not

037looking to add new staff but we don't know we don't have a crystal ball then they would need trained on how to utilize that program okay thank you um and then we're still doing the walkter program from what I hear it's going well um and then there was an issue with the fourth and fifth grade social studies where um they weren't having a set curriculum because this year or going into this year we shuffled teachers so there wasn't a set social studies teacher in those grade levels so hopefully we could correct that next year but we don't know what teachers exactly are going to be where yet cuz we're waiting for the budget to know um to be able to make set position so that is on the radar of the curriculum committee too um

038last thing the wellness room at the elementary is done now it's being utilized and I think um Mr sacko is going to bring someone to the next meeting to kind of give a little overview of it fight before on the April M even agenda meeting um so that you can see what the room looks like and it is baby and that's all I have a question for I don't know if this fall in their curriculum ahead ask it figure out Mr Rey do you think our grading system is flawed in the sense that I had some con constituents call me the parents they were pretty upset because their children the students in the proficiency test they're really low but they have 4.0 and higher in their classes in math so either the standards are down

039here and the weighted grade systems up here where they're not matching or something I think something is not right to where we're giving it's like a disenfranchisement almost we're we're not giving a we're giving a false sense of where they should be um the score in math math um the one parent had to get a tutor for their child in math for 4 days a week and he was pretty upset about it and I can understand that I mean can you give me your thoughts on do we still have General and academic or is it all how is it separated now so in the early grades 9th and 10th it's Advanced and then the general classes um and then once you're in 11th and 12th grade that's kind of where you you get a bunch

040of different choices depending on what your um career pathway is so you can take college level classes your botch classes um business type classes so it it definitely delineates more for the older kids than the younger kids um as far as your question about the standards I'm assuming you're linking those with the Keystone test scores is that what we're talking about um my teachers use the SAS curriculum so they're they're covering the algebra the biology and the literature to prep the kids for the test and even this year we built into our schedule if you look at our current schedule any student who in 9th or 10th grade did not pass those tests on their first or second try they're in remediation they have at least a quarter of remediation um and they're being retested

041okay um as far as asking the grades linked to that I don't know that that's a fair question um you know that's something that I think when you look at that you know how are we grading like are we grading assignments for effort and then doing well on the test I think you know teachers are being trained to to get that content across to the students so if we're re reteaching and testing then absolutely I would think the grades would look better um but so I I I don't I don't know how to link those two together it just seems like and I see their point the the parents Point um you know if you can't if you can't test out math on your your State Testing or whatever testing it is and you're not

042even getting average but you have a 4.6 in math here then there's something wrong right something is not right either our standards are like this with our grading system being weighted and it's not accurate it can't be accurate so there's that and and just a couple more things how many people were on me on a roll I wouldn't know that rough probably 40% 40 80 we okay and what what I'd like to see with your report and I think the other members would maybe agree with me on this I'd like to see the rankings of the students like how many are one how many are two how many are three how many are four in the classes if we have 26 kids out of 56 kids in a class a senior class and they're all

043ranked number one mathematically that's impossible it can't be I can assure you that is not the case well that's what I'm trying to see where we're at here with with the grading system that all plays into that you know it just it's kind of crazy I mean but if you could just do that in there with the GPA average you know for the 1 2 three I don't care if it's just if you if you just did the top 10 or whatever so we could see how many people because if we do have a high number at number one then there is really something wrong we don't a Senor I can tell you that because we're looking at it as as we're moving closer to graduation and also know Russ are concerned about tutoring we

044have math science English and social studies teachers that stay Monday through Thursday in this very Media Center um and they also have students that work with the the younger students we a lot of middle school kids that take advantage of that so we have free tutoring after school from 3 to 45 yeah I know this parent he's not going to He he'll go get somebody so but he gets probably doesn't hear too so yeah he got 4.6 did you get it to it was an hour I can tell one I tell you one thing then we can move on since you were in school the grading scale has changed when we were here it was 93 to 100 was an a right now it's 90 to 100 is an A and 80 to 90 is

045a b and that actually inflated our GPA so it's throwing off we changed that though since I've been here and the reason we changed that is because our students were being impacted when like for example we have these Green County Foundation scholarships and they're looking at the students overall gpk and everybody else in the county had that 10-point scale but us whenever I I came to the district and I was like well we're hurting our own kids by not giving them the same grading scale so that's why the grading scale changed I'm just I I don't want to give somebody the false sense that they have an A and then they go to apply for a college and they're a seat and they're really messed up and behind I mean we have to prepare them

046for the future we have to be realistic with them I mean everybody doesn't get a trophy in my world I don't know how you guys work I could you said when we looked at that I actually called local universities and they said it does make a difference that you know they're better off 90 to 100 with an a than they are 30 93 to it makes a difference they don't care what our grading skill is they're looking at ABC so okay [Music] um Mr you finished yes that one okay this can we go on yes okay business manager we need a motion to approve the bills for payment in amount of 17639 198 77 cents as presented motion motion we have a second second any questions no questions roll call please Mr Pratt yes M

047sh yes Mr Smith yes Mr s yep Mr Buckman yes Mr Miss KL yes Mr May yes Mr menhard yes motion carries we need a motion to approve the secretary Treasure and Other Financial reports as presented mo mo second second any questions roll call M sh yes Mr Smith yes Mr so yes Mr buckon yes M corl yes Mr May yes Mr Pratt yes Mr menhart yes motion carries thank you Mr I have one more question okay um we have the April meeting is scheduled for the 1 17th of April which is Holy Thursday I didn't know if the board wanted to move we have negotiations on the 16th um I didn't know if the board wanted to move that date at all can we move it to the Tuesday the following week the the

04822nd yes that's up to you guys I mean we don't I don't have anything on our calendar I'm not going to be here so for you did you Mo that you're not going to be here I'm 17 I'm be he's up the 21st through the 25th I'll run the meeting I don't care you guys I don't think he cares so someone here I got yard out for changing the meeting just that but there are stipulations on me being the Pres but if somebody can't be here speak up I don't have a problem I don't have problem so what is it what you count you be here I'll be on the plane it's okay you don't need okay Mr buckton and Mr um workcraft cannot be here on the regular day correct 7 so do you

049want to change it to the 22nd you guys going together I I like to leave the meeting where it's at but that's okay that's fine with me I just wanted to thank you for bringing that to the public and that concludes my report Federal programs Mr sacko we had the um parent family engagement Regional workshop last Wednesday March 12th we had eight of our parents participate um I had a chance to look at the evaluations and that was program wide those were the evaluations from everyone that was there from fat and Green County um and they were very favorable uh we had our keened speaker gentleman by the name of Morris Morrison and then the other topic was we had a 45 minute session on artificial intelligence um and then the federal program you know

050in compliance with the time of year things are opening up in terms of starting to look at the grants and filing our report um also as part of our what we did for federal programs this year our learning night was held tonight it just ended at 7 o'clock um we had a very good turnout and you very grateful to the staff for all the hard work and putting that together um I don't know the exact number but I when I looked at the sheets um about an hour before it ended we were over 100 students for participation um so that's something that we're hoping to build upon each year and that concludes my report if you don't have any questions questions thank you m legislative report is nothing to report nothing to report public relations

051I have something I can hold um I'll just do it now last week Mr uh or last month Mr buckon made a report concerning treny and he alarmed a lot of people naturally what he said was 100% true um if you don't come to school you're going to make bad grades but I want everyone to know um what we do have in place here um there's daily attendance notifications that are sent out to parents via an automated system every morning that one of your children are late I mean absent and that's via phone or text um there are three-day unexcused notices that are emailed to parents after the third day of unexcused absence there's a 5-day unexcused notice that semester incentives um year-long recognition to anyone who has less than three days and also um

052a WP role is that once you miss more than 20 days whether it's excused or unexcused you're automatically dced for 45 days after you're in school the 45th day then you and that's the same we follow the same we did do we still follow the same rule for things such as the pr and and things of that nature um so I just wanted to assure the public that we are doing something about this this no I enough paper I do have one more thing i' probably P under this if weekend okay just real quick it's just I I don't know who would answer this if it's Mr morecraft or or Mrs uh Todd um how many outer District students do we have on that actually have no address in cumland Township we do check that

053every we send the we we send um this security to do talk about ver no everybody just everybody we do check that so I know this I started doing the numbers and this was astounding to me out of District Let's see we have kids placed is that what or is that your question or coming whoever is not from cand Township to okay I have the out of District place the kids that we place out of District yeah well that's that's I just want to try to get how many we have first I do not I have the ones that are that we are paying to go out of District I do not have that in front of me we had it we should be doing something about it and so every every I'm going to

054say I think I could come up with at least 10 to 15 that are not from this District that are going to this district and I'm just trying to watch out for the taxpayers because we took a note to you fiduciary um for this and it's a lot of money because it's 42% of all of our budget that they have to pay up to $23,000 I mean it could be over $280,000 the process that we have is if it's reported that somebody is coming here out of residence we uh send the uh security Mr Miller or Mr Toof go out to the to the houses to verify that somebody is residing there now there is an exception to that with the homeless so if they claim homeless homelessness there's a whole set of rules that

055we have follow that we will do we will verif do residency checks we've done that I will I I I I'll get you those names CU When I was going through the numbers here I mean obviously we know the FED pays 7.8% and then the state pays 58% or 48% and the taxpayers of Cal Township pay 42% of 42% of 24 $23,000 is a lot of money and that isn't even included if they have special needs that's way way more I think we do and correct me if I'm wrong because I may you remembering incorrectly Mr Vey if if it's a senior student who has been here the and they relocate during his senior year we let and if it's a person who works here they're allowed to pay tuition stud tuition how much is

056the tuition $250 $250 a year that's what we charge them and 250 per so the taxpayers are paying for let's just say roughly 20 20 out of student out of District students it's going to cost if it's an employee it it doesn't matter $250 is not going to make a difference it's is $200,000 we're talking about from the taxpayers so what I would like to see that's not the that's not the tuition that just anyone would pay you that's just the perk that we gave the teachers yeah that they're paying 250 bucks but it it what I'm saying is the calculations don't add up no matter if they were paying $9,000 to you so what I would like to see is is on your monthly Matrix how you do the student population are you listening

057yeah the monthly Matrix on the student population I'd like to know in detail how many kids are from not this District that are going here so you want to know the teachers kids because if it were yeah we don't know the other ones they wouldn't be here got breaking the rules so they're made aware now I'm speaking of yeah you give me the Nam give us the names we The Only We Know teach cuz I had a lot of parents call me and ask me this how's so and so going here how's you know I mean I mean if you know just give us a name I will I will I'll give you a list I said the only ones we can put on a list are the teacher kids well I I'll give you

058a list I I don't care I just I just want to be fair to the taxers you know yeah good there's also orders and CYS bid placements where the student may not be physically living in the district but ising with spouses and divor well we need to know all that if we're going to be accurate with what trying to get give us a list and we'll tell you I don't know some of those people but also I'd like to see you Fred or Mr mcraft sorry about that um take the blueprints off of the the the Matrix and don't use that meta because they're really not part of the school and your data take them out of the gr take them out take them out of the the system as far as toal I know

059what he's talking your total student population they're not part of us so they they need be removed from that CU it's deceiving yeah just get us a list and then we'll and there could be uh Court ORD like like Mr Miller said if they're divorced and there's a separation agreement there's those kind of yeah well they would have an address they would have address they would go that house and and then they got to show you like bills right proving that you're living that's the way we yes because I don't know what I I keep getting phone calls about that same okay um compreh comprehensive plan nothing to report oh wait ready thank you thank you ni shate Mr May CTC okay I have a couple of things to report first of all there was

060a uh it's called prar culinary competition that's actually a very big competition we had three girls win first place at this competition and one of the uh things that they get out of is they have $40,000 worth of scholarship money for each one of them so it's a pretty big deal and the nice thing about it was that U Mr Wagner culinary pracher got sick that day he couldn't go with them so they they went to competition with a couple of Chef roads they still came by with first place and uh those girls were Ellie Turner from Central green Jesse Cook from West Green and Olivia Miner from corles wow congratulations yeah and uh uh okay and then the other thing was i' I've reported on our adult nursing class and the board of the

061CTC that that uh governs the uh Public Schools also takes care of the adult classes now just remember that there's no money that goes between the adult classes and the student classes so anything we do here none of that money goes to adult education so it's even though we control it it happens that that um so I reported uh a while back about our nursing program we had a practical nursing program that was uh in uh a lot it was in trouble we've operated that program since 1973 we've had a lot of success with it and it came under some problems and uh I wanted to say that we've got it back on track we have a class this year that's that's in class right now with instructors and so forth and I want to

062uh reach out give Judy Swagger Tony Lemley and uh Mr krer Mr Mark KR a lot of credit for this and um the Janet Pennington from Southeastern green actually really did a lot of extra work trying to get this uh program back on back on track so um not only are we we we're hiring people to take care of that program we're looking into having a part-time program for adults which will help uh let's say you have a job you you're a single mom you have a job and you can't work you can't go to school fulltime but you may be able to work this part-time program and around your job so we're looking into that we're very close to having it and I'll report on that again uh later on so um that's all

063I wanted to to report and accept what uh April 10th is the open house at the CTC so I'd like all of you to attend if you have a chance are they going to move forward with the equip I talked to I talked to Mr K we are looking still working on that it's a little more difficult than just starting the I know the insurance is going to be and and there is a cost to it because we the cost boils down to the home District so we want to be very careful of what we do to make sure that we don't put burden on the anything Mr griin does there we try not to put a burden yeah well we're going to let them we're going to give them it's fantastic what we talked

064about earlier was really great but it's it's got a little bit of work to do yet so so uh that's all I have to report than you much good job on at CPC it's important it's easy when you got good people up there thank you Mr May um the last thing on our agenda um this umj yeah but there is another subject it's just say it's informational there's a booster reports and things that that nature in your back di one showcases uh T next Tuesday um at pen West the convocation center student showcase starts at 1 uh those of you that sign up for the dinner um it's that evening then voting for that day I think you got an email for yeah you got a voting you got an email regarding voting and I'll

065be sending you an email regarding Transportation or part is it too late so go sign up of course not if you want to go I'll sign you up next Tuesday I have connection stay out of stay out of my do you do you want me to add your name to the list yes that would be great motion to Second all in FA favor I post carries thank you guys
