Could everyone please rise for the pledge of allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. I'd like to make uh announce that the board met this evening in executive session for approximately one hour to discuss personnel issues and assess uh tax assessments appeals. And I'd also like to say that it's very nice to be back in person and see everybody in real time. Um, other than we have a couple board members who are still on Zoom uh because they're away and we thank them for joining us and uh hopefully next time we'll have everyone here. Uh please would like a uh a motion to approve the minutes of the items 3B
through 3F. the minutes for HR, finance, board, uh, business meeting, FMT, and curriculum. If I could please have a motion for approval of those minutes. Rosemary, thank you. Is there a second? Kathy, thanks. All in favor, please raise your hand. Great. Thank you. That's 80. Yep. I would like someone to please make a motion to approve the financial reports as presented through item items 4B through 4 M for May of 2021 and for the treasures report of May of 2021. They are all included. Um and I will not read the whole list. If somebody could make a motion to approve. Is there a second? Second. Thank you. All in favor? Thank you very much. Uh we before we go to public comments, did you do report? Yeah, I asked I included that in the financial
reports. Okay. Uh before we go to public comments, Dr. Christian would like to make some comments. Thank you, Mrs. Moore. We have some important updates uh for our community and our school district specifically as it relates to masking. The Montgomery County Office of Public Health uh yesterday announced that masking for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals at summer camps and summer schools will be optional. Uh, as of June 21st, which is this coming Monday, as of June 15th, Montgomery County has seen 36 consecutive days below 5% positivity and 25 days consecutively consecutively below 50 cases per day uh and 11 days with below 20 cases per day, which is just simply outstanding news. uh as the uh vaccinations increase u and social distancing has been able to be relaxed uh we've uh obviously had been able to
have people outdoors more. Uh the district had already relaxed its masking requirement for recess and high exertion activities and Colonial the administration recommends that Colonial will be following those recommendations for our summer programs. So, that includes our extended school year for our special education families, as well as our uh uh programs that we're offering free of charge this summer, uh literacy blast and summer reading and summer math help uh due to the pandemic. Uh we have a uh over 400 students that'll be participating. So, masking will be optional uh for faculty and students. So we still encourage the office of public health has asked all school district to continue to encourage those who are not vaccinated to take part in that uh as there are pl uh plenty of vaccinations available. Uh we do look
forward to this fall to continuing that and not requiring masks. Um I'm sure we will need to uh keep a close eye on the guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, CDC, and our local Department of Health. uh maybe not so much in August and September, but as winter approaches. Uh and they certainly there's been some news about uh the Delta variant uh in other countries. Uh so we we're hopeful that that does not come to us. Um but I think um as I said to our staff uh at a recent retirement party uh where we were recognizing several of our folks who retired this year, I'm not sure anything weighs as much as that little 3 piece of cloth. Uh, and so we're happy to have them removed and, uh, I know our teachers
and our administrators and our families will be happy if if children and families do want to wear them, they certainly are are able to. Um, and our goal is to continue to keep everybody safe. Uh, my second comment tonight for those of you who are watching and and we'll talk about it as we move forward with our board meetings. Uh, tonight's a great event because we're back in person. We know we announced this only recently uh that we were able to be host tonight in person. Uh we're looking to host future board meetings in a similar fashion. Uh and we will continue to broadcast them via YouTube uh as well as our cable channel. Uh but we would like to uh uh remove our uh relationship with Zoom as much as possible. Uh I think
we're all tired. I know a lot of people are tired of seeing my face on Zoom. Um, so that being said, uh, the July and August board meetings, our plan is to have them in person. Uh, we will still accept public comment, uh, via the email that we've generated, uh, where you can email us and we'll read them. U, but we want to get back to normal activities as much as possible. And I'll certainly heed to the board's wishes on that, but I wanted to let everybody know in our community that that's that's our plan moving forward, especially since I was just texted that Zoom the sound went out on Zoom. So, it would be nice. It's back on now. Thank you, Drew. But it would be nice if we could do away with this.
I agree. Uh lastly, uh we at the curriculum meeting recently, we talked about our our plans for the 2122 school year. Uh we will continue to communicate uh with our families. Uh but our plan still remains especially with rates, positivity rates and incident rates so low uh that we do plan on being in person full-time this fall. We will have a virtual option uh and that presentation from the curriculum committee of the board is on our website. Uh and we will have an additional uh survey going out to families uh later this month uh in advance of the school year. and we will continue to communicate our families particularly those who desire a virtual option what that looks like. Uh it's a combination of synchronous and a asynchronous learning but without a doubt we are
trying to move away from the dual platform of having teachers stream uh to students directly while they're teaching students in front of them. I think our teachers did a great job with that. Uh but we really want to move away from that and uh so we'll offer that virtual option particularly those families who are waiting um for the uh vaccination to be made available to 5 to 11 year olds which we're hopeful is sooner than later. Uh and so we'll uh based on the presentation we gave uh that will be based on a trimester basis. So if there's families that want to delay their start for in person, we will work with you. Um, and I believe we're going to plan a parent night, uh, anformational night for our families so they can understand what
it's going to look like. Um, but we really want to get away from that dual platform. The only instance and I said this to our teachers uh our teacher leadership group and to our administrators where we would initiate the dual platform of of live streaming uh plus uh in-person learning is if we have a situation where positivity rates increase uh incident rates increase and we're forced to quarantine uh students because of regulations from the office of public health. um you know one day if you're sick for one day you know traditionally non-pandemic related you can get the assignments you can move forward with your assignments and make up your work when it gets to be three four five days that that becomes extensive especially when you're looking at the high school and the block schedule
so we want to be able to uh turn on we have the technologies we have the ability to use them our folks are uh well trained in that so we will have that option out there but it um but it's not going to be a situation where somebody says I you know, I'm not coming to school today. I'll just log in because I want to stream in. Uh we didn't have, you know, we need to have everybody back full-time. Uh and we need to offer the virtual option for those families who still need it. So, um you know, we'll continue to communicate that with our community and and we're looking forward to a return to normaly as much as possible. Any questions from the board? Thank you. Now's the time for any public comments on
the agenda. Um, Drew, do we have any? We have not received any public comment to email and we have no hands raised at this time. Okay. Thank you, Dr. Christian. Back to you. Thank you. Board action is requested uh for the attached personnel changes and extracurricular appointments. Appointments for promotion, employment or transfer are subject to the presentation of valid credentials, employment verification, documentation, and statemandated requirements. That includes all necessary clearances. So, if anybody doesn't have any of the three required clearances, uh they cannot be employed until they are submitted. They're subject to them. So, the their approval will be pending this evening. uh for anybody who's still getting us clearances for our ESY program uh or our summer literacy blast or other programs we're offering. Is there a motion to approve the superintendent report? Jen,
is there a second, please? Rosemary. Thank you. All in favor? Great. Uh new business, Beth. Okay. Uh This is a motion to approve the administration's recommendations for the 2021 2022 Colonial School District nonbargaining unit pay rates as presented. Is there a second? Kathy, thank you. Any questions or comments on this item? All in favor? Uh, educational services? Rosemary. There is a motion to approve the educational contracts as outlined. HMS School 2021 ESY services for one student at $14,850. The Overbook School ESY services for one student for 19 days at $295 per day for a total of $5,65. The Vanguard School 2021 ESY services for three students at 8,800 per student for a total of $26,400. 2021 ESY and onetoone services for one student at $12,50. The George Kthers Memorial School 2021 ESY services for one
student at $4,165. 202021 stu tuition for one student at $3442 per day from March 31st, 2021 through the last day of the 2020 2021 school year. Is there a second to that motion? Thank you. Any questions or comments? All in favor? Great. Thank you. Uh Jen, uh board policies, board policy revisions, first read. Motion to approve board policy 150 comparability of services on a first read basis. Is there a second? Rosemary. Thank you. Any questions or comments on this policy? All in favor? And that is a first read. Uh second read, Jen. Motion to approve the policies outlined below on a second read basis. Policy 121, field trips, policy 204, attendance, and policy 306, unemployment of summer school staff. Is there a second? Thank you. Any questions or comments from anyone? All in favor? Great,
Kathy. Okay. Um motion to approve the tentative trips and academic athletic competitions our Plymouth White Marsh High School and Colonial Middle School students will participate in during the 202122 school year as presented. These trips are out of state or require an overnight stay. Is there a second? Beth. Thank you. Any questions or comments? All in favor? Ununice. Okay. Um, can you hear me? All right. Oh, yeah. Definitely. All right. Oh. Oh, this. Sorry. Uh this is a motion to approve the athletic supplies bids for both Plymouth White Marsh High School and Colonial Middle School. Um and the attached athletic supplies bids were solicited, received, and reviewed by the athletic department at both Plymouth White Marsh High School and Colonial Middle School. Both buildings recommend these bids as the lowest responsible biders and request school board
approval. Is there a second? Rosemary. Thank you. Any question uh questions or comments? All in favor? Hey, Rosemary, I mean Ununice, I'm sorry. That's okay. Um, this is a motion to approve Delaware Valley Paving to mill and pave the parking areas, bus lanes, and other specific areas as identified by facilities at White White Marsh Elementary, Ridge Park Elementary, and Plymouth Elementary Schools in the amount of $355,625 46. This also includes all new line striping at the completion of the paving. The work will be completed over the summer. Is there a second? Any questions or comments? All in favor? Go ahead, Unice. You may as well. Okay. Sure. This is a motion to authorize the transfer of $1 million from the general fund to the capital reserve fund for the purpose of funding the proposed 2020
capital projects scheduled for this summer. The facilities committee previously reviewed the five five-year capital projects plan which includes parking lot paving, roof evaluations and repairs and the upgrade and installation of emergency generators in the buildings. The proposed transfer of a million dollars from the general fund to the capital reserve fund will be utilized to fund these investments in the district infrastructure. Okay. And I think we need to change that. Uh it should be 2021, not 2020. That wasn't your mistake. It's typed that way. Okay. Is there a second? Kathy, any questions or comments? All in favor? Great. Okay. Um, next we have a motion to approve the proposed CMTHS capital improvements and financing resolution as attached. Um, Zelro Montgomery Technical High School plans to improve their campus and upgrade their building. Colonial School District with
Upper Maran and Norristown school districts created the vocational high school and therefore as owners are ultimately responsible for the debt incurred to upgrade the campus. The planned upgrades include, but are not limited to, the building, roof, data and security upgrades, and paving the parking lot. CMTHS will finance the projects through the Hatfield Township Industrial Development Authority and will be borrowing $2,750,000. Is there a second, Jen? Thank you. Any questions or comments? Uh, Mr. Zowski, do you have any additional comments or or Dr. Christian about this? Uh just that I can tell you that the p the parking lot is long overdue. It's not just paving uh but they've had water coming up from underneath and so it's been a bit a tremendous challenge uh for buses and and cars in the winter months. I've actually
seen a car slide uh with nobody in it uh due to the icing that takes place uh and the roof has been in need of repair. This will also uh improve uh different parts of the building. Uh Seth ShraMM gave uh the three superintendents a tour of of the building and specifically uh where the uh funds and the develations will improve the building. Uh and all three of us uh comp thoroughly endorse it and as a participating member of the uh of the uh Central Monco Technology High School uh this action is being approved by Nortown and Upper Marian School District. Also uh the agreement we have for the debt service of this 2.75 million is that both Upper Marion and Colonial will pick up 35% each year the debt service and Nortown will pick
up 30%. Thank you. Okay, we have a uh any other comments? All in favor? Great. Thank you. Okay. Um next up is a technology lease approval. This is a motion to approve the leasing of 860 Chromebooks through First American Educational Financing at a cost of $480,000, $23260 for four years at an interest rate of 2.59%. And the district proposes to lease $860 Chromebooks for incoming fifth and 9th grade students for a term of four years. The cost of the technology was stated earlier which equates to an annual lease payment of $124,76.80 and this is the fourth annual technology lease. Is there a second? Beth, thank you. Any questions or comments? Yeah, I I have a question. So, are these and I you probably talked about this last facility's meeting. I wasn't there. Are these are
they taking them home or this is for the classroom? Taking them home. They're taking them home. So now every So I assume the kids that are in sixth. So the kids that were in sixth and seventh last year and the kids in 9th, 10th, and 11th are keeping what we leased out what we gave them during the pandemic. Correct. There's there's two things going on. If we leased it out, if we u signed them out during the pandemic, we allowed students to keep them and we're allowing them to keep them through. Correct. Graduation. Yeah. Uh yes. Through 12th grade. Okay. But then what we also initiated with this uh due to the pandemic, we started our own onetoone initiative. So we started last year fifth and ninth graders got Chromebooks. So they turned in the
older devices they had that we had issued. They came in got a new device. They'll take that with them through fifth to 8th grade and 9th to 12th and get a new one. Fantastic. So we're adding a adding a grade every year. And then in to to make sure we support those grades that are in the middle like maybe I have a seventh grader right now. They still get a device from us. It's just not a newer Chromebook, but it's still an adequate device. So everyone's going to have a device for right and this helps us from a budgeting standpoint spread it out over four years and it gets us into a onetoone model uh very nicely. That's fantastic. That's really great. Okay. Thank you. There weren't many. That is that is a glass. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, and it gives, you know, God forbid we have to be home. We're ready to go. We are. Yeah, we're definitely ready to go. Yeah. Okay. Thank you. Any other questions? All in favor? Stipulations, Ununice? Okay. Um, this is a motion to approve the stipulation agreements to settle the assessment appeals of the properties detailed below. And I will not read all of these, but they are here in the agenda um for the public's review. Is there a second? Rosemary. Thank you. Any questions or comments on the stipulations? All in favor? Sure. Okay. This is a motion to appoint Fox Rothschild LLP as solicitor for the Colonial School District for the time period of July 1st, 2021 through June 30th, 2022 based upon the following uh annualized retainer of $22,000 per year, an hourly rate
of $195, and alternate rates in accordance with the engagement letter. And oh, sorry, there's more. uh rates is established by the insurance carrier where where Foxchild Rothschild is an approved provider and I'm sorry am I doing this wrong? No. Okay. And motion to approve the HIPPA business associate agreement between the district and Fox Fox Rothschild handling cases that involve protected health information on behalf of the district. That is all one motion. Is there a second to that motion? Rosemary. Thank you. Any questions or comments on this motion? Yes. What is the difference between what we've done this past year and this current agreement? Is there any difference? I think the rate's the same. I don't think they raised it, right? No. Um, Mr. Sultanic, is there any change? Uh, there is no change in the
uh uh any of the rates as mentioned. Thank you. Any other questions? All in favor? Okay, great. Thank you. Uh Beth, one more. Yeah. Okay. This is a motion to approve the administration's recommendation of the memorandum of understanding dated June 17, 2021 between Teamsters Local 384 and the Colonial Board of School DEC directors regarding usage of eligible 2021 vacation days through August 31st, 2021. And uh Mr. Riley, do you want to speak to that and what we're or Let's get a second. Oh, sorry. Do we have a second? A second. Okay. Thank you. Okay. Now, okay. Mr. Lai or Okay. Yeah. Uh the the rank and file is very grateful for the extension that the board is approving tonight, but basically, you know, with the travel restrictions and limited ability to take vacations with their
families and things like that. Um their vacation for the prior year um is up July 1. So they would start to lose what they don't use. So I'm extending that through August 31st. They're very grateful because that gives them an opportunity to take vacations with their families and things that they were not able to do during the pandemic. Great. And we're we're happy to give it to them. We are. And we thank you. Yeah. Any other questions? All in favor? Great. Solicitor's report. I have no report and thank the board for their support this evening. Thank you. Uh committee reports. Kathy, no report. Okay. Um curriculum report. Rosemary, you're going to give that? Yes. The curriculum committee met on June 8th to discuss the virtual learning option for the 202122 school year. In preparation for
the upcoming school year, Mrs. Gregitis gave an overview of the virtual learning option being planned. The curriculum team decided on the Montgomery virtual program known as MVP as the best match for families choosing the virtual option. MVP works with multiple vendors and platforms in order to provide many different courses to students, especially at the secondary level. The support that MVP will offer to district students, coupled with the support that the Colonial staff will continue to provide, will help students be prepared and successful in the virtual environment. The curriculum supervisors further discussed the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for MVP, the district, students, and parents guardians. Mrs. Gregitis shared what a sample schedule for elementary, the K through 5, and a secondary 6 through 12 program would look like for these self-paced guided autonomous lessons. A recording
of this meeting can be found on the district's YouTube channel. Thank you very much. Uh facilities, Chris is not here. Do we have any report that we need to share? Mr. Valley. No, we're good. We we no report from a previous meeting, but we do need to talk uh we're going to be putting something in board notes for the board. We do need to have the solar panel discuss discussion that we've been talking about uh for years. Yeah. So, we will be uh looking for some dates for a brief uh discussion. We need to get to a resolution to move forward on it. We'd like to get it done uh within the next few weeks. Uh but we think it can be a very quick meeting. Okay, thank you. They finally got back to us.
We would have done it tonight, but they just got back to us and so Joe, Dave, and I need to put together something for the board. So, you'll send out some dates, options for dates. Yes, I will. All right, great. Thank you. You're welcome. Finance Unice, I have no report beyond what we discussed this evening. Thank you. Uh, human resources, no report. Ununice Central Montgomery County Technical High School report. Yes. Um, a couple of things. One, I want to congratulate all of the new graduates from our tech school as well as the staff and faculty at the tech school on the really remarkable graduation ceremonies that were held on May 22nd. Um, they held two ceremonies, the first ones they've ever actually held on the Central Malco campus. Typically they um hold events over at
um Colonial Middle School and then a couple years ago we were at PW's new gym. Um but it was really fantastic to see all of the folks who graduated. Um they honored every student um with either scholarships or reports on all of the certifications that they um acquired during their time at Central Monco. and um they awarded in excess of $150,000 in scholarships and awards to students leaving and I think that speaks volumes about um the support in the community as well as um you know the great education that our students get there. Um the other thing I want to highlight is the tech school is going to be offering a summer program for kids going into 8th through 10th grade um who are interested in sampling what the tech school has to offer. Um,
it's kind of a grab a day like you could do a couple years ago. It's $35 a day. Um, and each day is different. So, if you want to do culinary for three days in a row, each day it will be something different. Um, same with, you know, the other programs. Um, so it's a really nice way to sample and also a way to keep kids a little bit busy this summer if they need some activities. So, um, we highly encourage folks to participate. And our next meeting will be in August for the tech school. Ununice. If anyone wants to participate who's listening, how do they they can reach out to um the director, Seth ShraMM? Um or if you go to um the Central Monco website which is cmths.org, there's a link right on
the homepage for um the the sampler program and you can um reach out to the school that way. Thank you. So, did we send something out as a district about that? I know that um we had some social media posts about it and um I believe Kim put it on the website as well. Okay. I mean that'd be a great thing to push out. We can certainly send an email out to email blast. I think that'd be a great idea. Yeah. Thanks. Uh Jen, intermediate unit. Yes. Um MCIU is introducing an intensive autistic support program and the program supports grades K to five. It has a maximum of eight students per class. It'll have a full-time board certified behavior analyst in the classroom daily and social workers to assist families with referrals and links to
outside services. And the description is a wide variety of interventions, approaches, and techniques that are based on the principles of applied behavior analysis will be used within the intensive autistic support program to develop verbal and academic skills and life skills as well as to provide behavior support. This program is also designed to reduce significant problem behaviors so students are able to have a meaningful outcome in their lives. And if anybody has any uh questions, they can email btmciu.org. Uh does anyone have anything to um contribute on legislative Kathy, Dr. Christian or Jeff? Anybody have anything? No. Okay. Thank you. Municipal and community liaison. Okay. Um the Ka Haken Free Library summer reading program began July June 12th. And um once again, Ka Haken is participating with Montgomery County, Norristown Public Library and all of the
branches using the Beanstack platform. And this has activities for everyone, uh, young children, children, teens, and adults. Everything you do on Beanstack unlocks badges and earns chances to win a prize at the end of the summer. And once again, the Khakan uh supporters have collected wonderful prizes. This afternoon, there was a virtual beginners uh bird watching workshop for children, uh, grades K through five. There's going to be an anime and Japanese culture workshop for twe teens Thursday, July 1st and July 2nd, 3 to 5:00 p.m. A wide variety of activities. So, you can go to the Ka Haken Library website uh to sign up and participate. The Burough of Kahaken is hosting six outdoor park concerts as part of its summer concert series. The concerts are held once a week on Thursday evenings from 7
to 900 pm at Scliffe or Marywood Park. Individuals are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets and pick out your favorite spot on the grass. The first concert will be July 8th and that will be the Flathead band. You can go to the burrow website to find more exact information for the rest of the summer series. Uh, thanks Rosemary. Do you have a report for the foundation? Colonial Education Foundation? No report for the foundation. Thank you. Anybody else have any? Uh, okay. I'm sorry. Go ahead. That's okay. Um, joining Montgomery County and many neighboring municipalities, Plymouth Township will be flying the Progress Pride flag during the month of June at the Township Building and at the Greater Plymouth Community Center. Activists in the LGBTQ community first displayed a rainbow flag to bring attention to their
existence, to find others in their community, and to push for inclusion. The Progress Pride flag, which will be displayed in Plymouth, has a chevron to one side of the rainbow to draw attention to the trans community and people of color. Anyone who is parenting a teen or works with teens knows that acceptance and identity is vitally important to their well-being. Young people in the LGBTQ community bear additional struggles with gender identity and ostracism. The suicide rate is high for these youths as they often experience rejection and bullying from their families, classmates, and peers. By displaying the pride flag at our public buildings, we show them that we accept them and support them. Thank you. Anyone else have a community? Adam, I I do for White Marsh. Um, White Marsh uh is also recognizing uh by
flying the Progress Pride flag at the uh at the township building in recognition of the contributions of members of the LGBTQ plus community uh to uh to the township and the broader uh the broader community. Um the White Marsh Township is also um calling on residents to uh mark our new uh uh the uhation of slavery of of African-Americans uh in this country and uh you know will be commemorated um this uh this weekend Saturday is is is June 19th. Um the other announcement uh for White Marsh um Joshua Road um between looks like Adam froze. Does someone else know what he was about to say? Joe and I do the closure Joe that uh uh Joshua the water company's closing Joshua this summer. Um Joshua Road being widened. Um the email I sent out
today, they uh Joshua Road's going to be closed. I'm back. Back. Okay. I don't Maybe not. And uh you're not really Can you hear me or no? Mr. Shupek, we'll let Mr. I believe it's June June 28th through August. Uh I forget the the end date, but I can send that out to everyone. But it's for widening the road and for storm water purposes. So Joshua from where? Yes. Joshua from uh Flower Town to Emerson. I think it's Flower Town to Franklin Way. That's Flower Town. All right. We'll figure it out when we can't get there. There it is. beginning Monday, June 28th, for roadway widening and drainage improvements. The Department of Transportation uh will be closing Joshua Road between uh the 28th and August 6th during the closure. Uh let's see, they are closing
Joshua Road between Flowertown Road and Emerson Drive in White Marsh Township. Yeah, that was Emerson. So motorists will be directed to use Flowertown Road, Butler Pike, Germantown Pike, and local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Great. Wonderful. We need we need another road. It is Well, it is during the summer, so that helps us a little. We need another road closure around here. All right. Uh is there anything else um from any community group? Just two quick items. Um, one, uh, congrat we had, uh, a long-standing relationship with the Kchock and Police Department. They've donated bikes, two bikes annually to our students. So, we had two students, uh, receive their bikes, uh, the other day and, uh, Jessica Lester did a story on it. It's up on our website. Uh, so we
appreciate that partnership uh, and it's part of a whole program where we emphasize bike safety with our children uh, in our school district. And secondly, Frozen, the middle school production will be taking place this week, this coming weekend at the high school Friday s uh Saturday and Sunday. And the show times are all posted on the website. So we're looking forward to the kids performing. Okay. Um any public comments, Drew? We have not received any public comment emails and there are no rate hands raised in the attendees. Anybody in the audience? since we have three audience members. Okay. Uh board comments. Yes, I'd like to say something. So, I just wanted to uh thank I should have probably done it during the HR report, but I just wanted to thank uh all the staff from
top to bottom for I mean, this was just a crazy year as we all know and everybody really brought it home. I'm just I think we're all thrilled that it ended on such a positive note and as the mother of a senior just thank you to everybody for getting those getting I can't even tell you the emails that I've gotten the text it I got a ton of texts saying that it exceeded their wildest expectations and everything that we took for granted that night it just culminated and that's what really being on the board is about is that night and you know as a board member to be there and see those kids just so darn darn grateful to be there. Another thing that they took for granted. Um so thank you to everybody for
for working so hard this year and just an extra shout out for giving those kids a great night. Any other board comments? I have a comment. Um considering what I said about Plymouth raising the pride flag, I know North Penn School District did that too recently. Ka Haken did it. As Adam said, White Marsh did it. I would like to propose that we as a district raise a pride flag to show support to the LGBTQ students that we have and to set an example to the other students um in the district. So, I wanted to know what everybody thought about that. I think that's an excellent idea, Jen. I don't know what the the right steps are to make that happen, but I'd love to see us pursue that. Can we talk about it at
the next community relations meeting or student life? Okay. Put it on the agenda. Yeah. Chris, I think it's something for the board to talk about as a whole. Certainly can do that. Sure. Any other board comments? All right. Seeing none, this meeting is adjourned. [Music]
