Um, we discussed obtaining more grants um and fundraising because the library is undergoing a very much needed renovation and um I have to say a couple years ago I had no idea what libraries did but by being on the board I see everything that they do and it it's a lot. So I encourage everybody to go to the website the Adams Memorial website. I think you'll be blown away by what they do. Um, there is a basket raffle through December 13th and they're

But um now we're going to put a greater focus on deciding what the purpose of this committee is moving forward. Um we're going to continue to work on being timely, develop trust and inclusiveness with communication, but we want to
024develop more community engagement with the school district. Um, we're going to look at the effects of the pandemic and what we learned from that. Um, see, um, and we're going to have a better digital and social media presence, and we're going to be more tuned into public perception and feedback. Um, we're also tuned into our internal communication to facilitate improvement and listen to staff feedback. and we're looking to de develop partnerships with businesses and other entities in the community um just for student enrichment to help them with career choices. Um and I'd like to add that our superintendent plan to meet with the student advisory groups every two months after the new year and that's going to give them important feedback from the students perspective in all all of our buildings. Um and that hopefully
025will aid continued improvements and efforts um and help develop the climate and culture of our district. Um we discussed ideas for winter and spring events sponsored by the Dair School District. Um kind of shine a spotlight on our students. Um we discussed not only how we engage staff but students as well in decision making.
