001Good evening. I would now like to call this December 18th, 2025 regular board meeting to order. Can we all stand for the pledge of >> allegiance? United States of America to the One nation indivisible and justice for all. >> And now I'll ask board members to read the district mission and goals. District mission. The mission of the school district of Hford Township is to educate and to inspire a community of lifelong learners who become well-rounded global citizens. >> The district goals academic excellence in an evolving world to prepare future ready learners who persevere, adapt, problem solve, think critically, and are supported by engaging learning experiences and intentional use of technology. belonging to honor every individual's inherent dignity through equitable inclusive and diverse practices. Social emotional growth to build a learn a learning community that pri
002prioritizes social emotional wellness as a foundation for academic success, resilience and strong relationships. Community pride and civic engagement to empower students to be active, responsible and contributing citizens through shared responsibility and community partnerships. >> Thank you, Mr. ask that you call the role please. >> Mr. Flaggler >> here. >> Miss Lee >> here. >> Dr. McKay >> here. >> Mr. Schwarz >> here. >> Miss Snogress >> here. >> Miss Snder >> here. >> Miss Weedman >> here. >> Dr. Shelton >> here. Dr. King >> present. Thank you. We will continue on with our student reports. And first up we have Hford Middle School Middle School Major Medical School Middle School student representative Christopher Lynch. >> Helloar. Good evening. Sorry. [clears throat] Good evening and thank you for allowing me to report on the happenings at
003Hford Middle School. As we quickly approach winter break, the school year is moving along very quickly and tomorrow will reach the middle point [snorts] of the second quarter. Students and staff have been work been working really hard and it's exciting to see everything that's happening around our school. Our winter athletic teams begin their first week of competition this week and are looking forward to a great season. It's also uh winter concert season and our instrumental and coral groups have been performing for families and members of the community. [snorts] Mondays are also known as Monday fundays at the middle school. Each week features something fun or unexpected such as musical chairs in the halls, Whitney Houston challenge, and hidd hidden yeti scratchoff tickets for prizes. karate board breaking and this week a gratitude camera where uh
004students share what they're thankful for. [snorts] Dr. Heran will be sharing those messages with families. We also have a spirit day uh every Friday and tomorrow is ugly sweater day. This is also a Oh, this is a lot of fun especially [laughter] especially since there are prizes for students who really go all out. Best Buddies Club is sponsoring a fundraiser this week for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to celebrate our collective efforts. Students will be wearing pajamas to school this upcoming Tuesday. [snorts] I truly hope everybody enjoys the upcoming winter break with families and friends. Thank you again for the for the opportunity to share what's happening at Hford Middle School. >> [applause] >> Thank you, Christopher. Next up, we have Hford High School student representative Liam Pender. >> That's good. Good evening everyone. My name
005is Liam Pinder and I'm a junior at the high school. Thank you to the board for allowing me to be here tonight. To start off, the National Honor Society had their induction ceremony for new members on December 1st. Additionally, Business National Honor Society also had their induction this month, demonstrating how academically invested Havford High is. NHS is currently having their annual gift drive where they buy and wrap presents to help benefit families in need in the Hford community. I'd like to give a shout out to Mrs. Jackson specifically for running this event as I have seen firsthand the numerous presence in her classroom. The World Affairs Club traveled to Temple University yesterday to participate in Model Senate. This was my first time doing the event and I had an amazing time. As expected, many students
006walked away with awards at the end of the day. Moving on, the drama club has announced that they will be staging the production of Legally Blonde in the spring. All of the students are in the process of auditioning, and I can't wait to see the show since Tuck Everlasting went above and beyond. I'd like to remind everyone that the spring show is open to any student and it truly is a great opportunity to get involved at Hford. Today during home room, the 9th and 10th graders watch the orchestra perform their winter music assembly. I can't wait to see it tomorrow with other upper classmen. Looking into athletics, the winter season is in full swing with sports like basketball, wrestling, ice hockey, swim, and my personal favorite, indoor track. In fact, the girls basketball team just
007got back from a tournament in Washington DC, and right now they along with the boys basketball and the ice hockey team are playing against Lower Marian. I have no doubt that is going well for them. Our cheerleading team just won the PIAA District 1 Championship and are now going for the state championship that will be held in in Johntown, PA. With finals right around the corner, students are pushing through and studying diligently to make it to winter break. Luckily, we have a few fun events just before the holidays. First, we will have a wellness day on Monday the 22nd, and then the annual dodgeball tournament will be held on Tuesday. Specific to seniors, college decisions are starting to come out for those who applied early. We are incredibly proud of all of our seniors at
008the high school, and I can't wait to see what they will accomplish next, no matter where they end up. After the break, students will hit the ground running with some taking the English, biology, and algebra keystones starting on January 6th. Personally, I will just be sleeping in on those days as all other students have a three-hour delay. That's currently it now for at the high school. Thank you again to the board for allowing me to present tonight and thank you all for your attention. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday break. Go fors. [applause] Thank you, Liam. Um, and now for the superintendence report. Dr. Hayes. >> Thank you. Um, we're going to start with uh recognition of our National Merit Scholars. Just for everyone's awareness, uh, there's a select group of students
009nationwide honored each year as National Merit Scholarship Semi- Finalists or Commended students. So, out of about 1.5 million students who take the PSAT test, there's about 16,000 across the country who qualify as semi- finalists uh and are in the top 1% of test takers in their state. There's also then about 34,000 students across the country who score in the top two to 4% uh for the PSAT um and are named commended scholars. Uh Habford Township this year uh has 19 students uh just in our district alone. We're very proud of them. Um some of them obviously are here. Uh so congratulations. I'm going to turn it over to Mr. Dunigee uh to recognize them further. >> Thank you, Dr. Hayes. I just want to do a couple quick shoutouts. First, Liam filled in today. Beatatric
010got sick this afternoon. So Liam didn't find out till 4:30 he was doing the uh presentation. But that's how such wonderful students we have at Havford. And we're going to recognize a couple of them in a minute. And I just want to uh thank uh all the uh Oakmont personnel and the middle school personnel uh yesterday for the tremendous job they did with supporting us uh through a difficult situation and the students always do a wonderful job. But uh Oakmont support and the middle school support really uh put us over the top yesterday. But I'm here to talk about the National Merit commended and semi-finalist and and like Dr. Hayes said only 32,000 students are commended students in the whole United States of America. Okay, so United States of America is a very big place,
011right? So only 32,000 uh receive this recognition and we're very fortunate to have 19 19 students is a very high number. Uh, and it's always amazing how well they do. But more importantly, uh, the students in front of you are leaders, they're athletes, they're musicians, they're artists, and they're just generally great people. So, uh, even more proud of how smart they are. We're very proud of, uh, who they are as people. So, we're going to, uh, call them up. Uh, we're going to do the commended first. Uh, when your name's called, come on up. I know a couple of them are not here tonight cuz they're uh doing activities or working, but we're just going to call their name out also um and recognize them and give them a little award tomorrow for those who
012are not here tonight. Cole Banister Brian Bossman, [applause] Lucas Bron, Teddy Foster, [applause] Dylan Khan, >> [applause] >> Zachary Kraut, [applause] Niels McCallion, [applause] Hannah Nelson Patit, [applause] Erica Pers, >> [applause] >> Benjamin Quinn, [applause] Cararissa Wii, Oliver Van Betavia, Mia Veress, >> [applause] >> Grace Walsh [applause] and our semi- finalist top 1% of the entire nation. I think it might be the world too. I have to check. Uh the world does has opportunities to take the PSAT and SAT just so you know. So I do need to check on that. It might be the entire world. Uh, Maxwell Fiser, [applause] Lucas Gillahan, [applause] Eli Miller, Michael Swan, And last but not least, Ren White [applause] >> picture. almost like this. I'm sorry. Thanks for your patience. Here we go. Oh, that's actually perfect. >>
013Thank you. [applause] Thank you. And we I just want to uh say thank you to the board for recognizing uh these students. I know you have a very busy schedule, a lot always on the agenda, but just to take some time out and recognize uh such quality students is uh it's uh much appreciated by us. And students, we need you to keep your grades up so you can leave now quietly and have a great night. Thank you. [applause] So again, just congratulations to our uh National Merit Scholars. Um as Mr. Dunigee said, uh we did have an incident yesterday uh and he is correct. the uh the middle school and all of the staff um jumped in right away, supported. Um and I'm just very proud of the entire community uh for that support. Um
014what Mr. Dunigee failed to mention was he had just exceptional leadership in that entire incident as well. So we just really appreciate him, Dr. Heran, um all of the staff and everybody that that really led that. Um and also a huge thank you to the police, their response time, their support, their constant presence in our schools. Um it makes our students, our staff, our families feel safe. Um and thank you to the families for, you know, your understanding and patience and support as well. Um it's not an ideal situation obviously, but everyone jumped in and and it resulted uh in everybody's uh safety and and getting home. Okay, so um I just appreciate all of that. Um on some additional [clears throat] news as it relates to some community and civic engagement, we had our
015Toys for Tots uh event. Uh incredible generosity from the community. Uh we filled an entire bus with gifts uh for the toys for tots program. This was an idea that stemmed from one of our drivers uh who had the uh the concept to to fill a bus with toys and bus all of the toys over. Um and we provided gifts to nearly 10,000 students in Delaware County. Uh and the stuff the bus event for toys for tots um was important because it served Delaware County itself. Um so that was a great event that that really um helped out a number of families. Um also for Thanksgiving uh time uh we had support and donations from the uh high school interact club, the football team, the mil fire company um and Lynwood PTO and they were
016able to provide 40 Hford families with a Thanksgiving holiday meal. Um so that was very supportive within uh the Thanksgiving time. Last Thursday, Chattam Park hosted their community open house. Hopefully, people got out to see it. It was very well attended. Thank you to Dr. Whitehead for hosting that, organizing it. Um, we really appreciate the community for their patience in the entire process of construction, uh, and coming out to take time and visit the building as well. Um, and also, uh, the students who served as our tour guides did an exceptional job, uh, taking people around and and showing them all of the new, uh, the new updated Chattam Park features and amenities. Um, January 7th, just as a little plug, at Lynwood, uh, I'll have another meet and greet. So, uh, if anyone wants
017to come out to talk, uh, and connect, uh, please feel free to come out, uh, to Lynwood, and information will go out on that. Um, but that will be on January 7th. and we've been making some really good connections with community members and learning a lot of things during those. So, we'll continue those throughout the year as well. Um, and then two, three reminders, I'm sorry. Kindergarten registration opens Monday, January 12th. Um, so please make sure uh that if you do have a child who will be heading into kindergarten, uh, you keep that date on the books. Uh, registrations are online, so please make sure you check your website for the registration information. You can also call the elementary school and they can help guide you with that as well. Um January 20 or I'm
018sorry, December 22nd and 23rd next week are both school days. Our winter vacation starts on December 24th and then we are back from winter break on Monday, January 5th. Um so like Christopher and Liam um had said, hopefully everyone has a wonderful uh restful um and uh enjoyable holiday break and we look forward to seeing everyone back uh on January 5th. And that is all the updates I have for today. >> Next up, that takes us to section four for uh public comments. And so the board values public comment. There are two opportunities on the agenda for members of the community to provide public comment during the meeting. The first opportunity on the agenda for public comment is to allow members of the community to speak on action items listed on the agenda for a
019a board vote. The second opportunity on the agenda is towards the end of the meeting, which allows members of the community to speak on any topic. Public comment allows for residents of the township to speak for three minutes. A timer will be set at the start of your comments and an alarm will sound indicating that your time has been completed. Should you have any materials for members of the board, please leave them at the end of the table with Mr. Ta for later distribution to the board. Please note that if appropriate, a member of the administration may follow up with you at a later date. Um, when your name is called, please state your name, confirm your residency, and a timer will begin for your allotted three-minute remarks. This evening, we only have one person
020that has signed up for section four um of public comments, and that is Victor D. If you would please state your name and confirm your residency. Good evening. I'm Victor Dane. I live at 117 Rodney Circle. It's a pleasure to be back here again. Um the members of the board who are continuing. It's nice to see you again and the new members. Thank you so much for donating your time and talent to the township. I wanted to um reference the minutes from the December 4th meeting where the board approved the contract for the solar panels for Chattam Park. Um this is a project I and other citizens have been very interested in for a long time. The board um has done a lot of careful work to bring it to this point. You studied the
021financials of solar arrays. You applied for the solar for schools grant from the state. you got a $300,000 grant and now you've hired the company that will put the raise in and if all goes well, you'll do it in time to get another $200,000 rebate from the federal government. So, congratulations on being excellent stewards of our dollars as well as providing great opportunities for our students to learn about renewable energy. The state has finally passed its budget and as part of that there's another round of $25 million in the solar for schools. So I'd like to encourage the board to apply again. Last year you applied for Lynwood and did not get that grant, but you probably have all the documents you need to apply again by January 29th. also consider um even though you've
022already funded some solar panels at Coopertown, whether it would be possible to put a grant in for the solar for schools to do a more expanded program there. Maybe if not this year, in next year's round, hopefully they'll continue. So, thank you for your good work for the township and also for your fiscal care. As energy rises, energy prices have risen um by 10% for electricity in the last year, your foresight in getting these solar panels that are going to save the township hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next 25 years is really appreciated. And the more panels you can buy for the schools, the more we will save. Thank you. [applause] For the next section, we'll continue on to section five, meeting minutes. I have a motion to approve the official minutes from
023the December 1st, 2025 board reorganization meeting. >> Okay. Moved. >> Second. >> Moved and second. Any discussion? All in favor? >> I. >> Any oppose? The motion passes. 5B takes us to another official minute. Can I have a motion to approve the official minutes from the December 4th, 2025 board work session? >> Shelton moved. >> Second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? >> All in favor? >> I. >> Any oppose? The motion passes. Section six takes us to a board reports. For 6A, we have the Delaware County Community College. Dr. McCay. No report. Thank you for 6B with DCIU. Miss Lee, >> very brief report. [snorts] The DCIU food drive continues. There is a quest to fill 1500 bags of groceries with food for our community. You are still able to donate to that endeavor.
024If you go on the DCIU's website, you will see that there is an Amazon wish list. You can purchase items and have them delivered directly to any of the IU locations. You can drop off items at the IU. Um or you can donate money that will be used to buy food for those um who could use it. So 120 bags. The goal is 1,500 bags. The search for the executive director of the IU continues. Uh look forward to having more information about that in the next couple of months. And happy holidays from the IU. VIU administrative building is closed from the 24th till January 5th. So there you have it. Thank you. >> Thank you. Um for 6, PSBA, Miss Peterman, no report. Thank you for 6D legislative council. Dr. Shelton. >> Thank you, Dr.
025King. The legislative council met on December 10th, and I'd like to provide a brief update on significant legislation that uh was discussed at that meeting. Uh the state budget um as our speaker pointed out our public speaker after a prolonged impass that delayed over 3.7 billion in payments to Pennsylvania school districts general appropriations act for fiscal year 2526 finally became law and that includes as the public speaker mentioned 25 million for solar for schools. The legislature is now considering two bills to address the fallout from this impass. One is to pro create a reimbursement program to repay costs that school districts incurred during the budget delay. A number of districts had to take out loans to to finance their operations, including the Philadelphia school district. Um, and so this bill would create uh a way
026to reimburse them. A second bill would provide emergency instructional flexibility, allowing districts to use hours instead of days uh and implement virtual instruction during future budget impasses. Um, just as an editorial comment, I'd just prefer the Commonwealthy Assembly to get the budget done on time instead of creating these loopholes. But anyway, um, in terms of a newly passed legislation that was signed into law, uh, there's an there's act 44, 2025, which um, uh, was signed into law November 6. And this law requires all Pennsylvania schools to notify parents, guardians, and school employees within 24 hours when a weapon is discovered on school property. Finally, um the uh the Senate is considering cell phone legislation. Uh this a bill 1014 has advanced out of committee and is currently under consideration. The Pennsylvania School Boards Association has
027taken an oppositional stance on this legislation. Uh the concern is the limited discretion that the bill is currently written affords districts for implementation. Uh in particular, the bill requires physical separation of the phone from the student during the day. So that will potentially require districts to u spend money to purchase lockable facilities or phone storage bags or something similar. And PSBA believes this represents an unfunded mandate that removes local control over a policy decision. Um finally the legislative legislative breakfast will be May 15th and um the council discussed subject uh the theme for the legislative breakfast and tentatively we settled on the subject of unfunded mandates and um just for the public's awareness unfunded mandates are essentially uh you know state legislation that is passed that requires the schools to do something which requires them
028to expend effort and resource but they don't provide any money to help you do that. And so, you know, an example might be, you know, give us a 100page report every year on XYZ. Um, but we're not going to give you any money to, you know, compensate, you know, the time that that requires. So, um, so um, if the admin or any, uh, board member would like to know like let me know of any unfunded mandates particularly or some, you know, we can, uh, fold that into the planning for the legislative breakfast. Uh the next meeting of the council is January 14th and that concludes my report. Uh happy to answer any questions or if there are none, we'll turn it back to Dr. All right. Thank you. Um for board president's report, I would
029like to invite any board members that attended any district events share or speak at this time. Uh, I had the ability to attend the Cadam um, open house with uh, Dr. Shelton. I'm sure he has comments, but it was actually quite fantastic. Um, the changes that were made to the building were it was great to see them in person, very wellappointed. How they used the space made a lot of sense. meeting the students and the teachers and members of community and seeing the pride that they took um in this new building and these changes and um you know just kudos to Dr. Whitehead. I don't know where he gets the energy to do all of the things. Uh but um it was just really great to see. So I'm happy to have been able to
030participate. >> Yeah. And I I don't have much to add except to say it was well attended. A lot of people there. um a beautiful facility and open spaces. Um so just excellent job by Kim Matthews and construction. >> All right, thank you both. That takes us to section seven for finance and facilities. Can I have a motion to approve items 7B through 7G as presented on the agenda? >> Moved. Second. moved and seconded. Any discussion? All in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? The motion passes. >> Item 7H, the bill list. I have a motion to approve dispersements for payment totaling 2,724,2744. >> Moved. Second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? All in favor? >> Any oppose? The motion passes. Section eight takes us to human resources. Can I have a motion to approve
031items 8B and 8 C as presented on the agenda? >> Moved. >> Second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? All in favor? >> Any opposed? The motion passes. Item 8 D. Can I have a motion to approve a 4-year contract negotiated between the school district of Herford Township and the HAR Township Education Association, PSCA, NEA, and authorize administration and special labor council to incorporate the terms into a collective bargaining agreement effective September 1st, 2025 through August 31st, 2029 and authorize proper officers of the board to execute set agreement subject to legal review. Okay, moved. >> Second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? >> I uh I just want to congratulate our teachers and acknowledge everybody in the negotiation process. Um process was longer than anticipated. Uh I myself came in partway through uh but the
032association's team the board's team worked together stayed committed um to find agreement on a contract that values the teachers and also allows for the district to be future oriented forward thinking. Um part of my vision coming in and I had said this uh was to make sure that staff receive resources that strengthen their abilities. Um and this is the start of being able to do that um and work towards that endeavor. Um both my parents were teachers. I'm a teacher, so I fully understand um the process of this and and how um you know, people failed at times through it. Um but this really is something that values our teachers and that value is um is essential to to becoming an excellent and staying an excellent district. So, I just appreciate the board's work, the
033association's work. Um congratulations on reaching this agreement and I look forward to continued partnership and success. I would like to add um and so yes, this has been a a very lengthy process, but I think it really highlights the unwavering dedication and commitment of both parties to really just ensure that our current and future educators are fairly compensated for their invaluable contributions. Um I want to make sure that we're recognizing that all stakeholders throughout this endeavor sought outcomes that just extended beyond the immediate present. So we're not just concerned about the today, but for for the future as well. um that they prioritize preserving the future value of our district's legacy of academic excellence, community pride, engagement, resource allocation, and stability. And that as as a board, our overarching objective remains to collaborate effectively um
034uphold excellence and foster exceptional experiences for all students, staff, and stakeholders. I again want to just extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this endeavor. Um yes, Dr. Hayes, you you joined us halfway through, but um I appreciate you really fully stepping into your role as superintendent along with other members of the administration um and colleagues for for all that was done to get us to this point. So, thank you to everyone. I'm truly honored um that we are at this point for this evening and looking forward to um an official vote for this contract. >> Thanks. And some thanks also to everybody involved in in particular Dr. Shelton and Ms. Lee who took a lot of their own time to to to attend some of those meetings and uh be part of
035negotiating team. Um you know it this process did take longer than anybody wanted it to. It and there are a lot of reasons not to sound like excuses but you know new board leadership new HA leadership uh new superintendent Dr. Hayes came came in in June. Um the state budget we had we had no budget until just for a month ago. Federal at the federal level we we have no idea what's happening with with grants. So fiscally speaking, this was an extraordinarily challenging year. Um, but honestly, you can't sit up here, you know, for as often as we do and hear what happens at schools, see the scores, and not be amazed continuously at the job our teachers do. They they are incredible. All of our kids, I believe, um, attend public schools. I'm proud
036of public education. I believe strongly in public education. One, you know, we got a lot of comments during the entire period. One comment though that kind of stuck with me a little bit. One person said that they thought that that this would create a rift between administration, the board, and teachers that would take a long time to heal. And I just really hope that that is not the case. Uh right now, public education is under assault like it never has been. I mean, at the federal level, you know, things are being dismantled at the state level. uh despite some attempts at movement, you know, it's that we've had band-aid fixes and no, you know, and we can't seem to get legislature to abide by Supreme Court decision to fairly fund public schools. You have uh
037Jeff Yas, the richest man of Pennsylvania with yachts, you know, who's putting out together slick ads to to to to try to pull away our our best students to to charter schools. So the only way that public public education survives and thrives over the next several years is I think to really show a unified front and it's boards, administrations, teachers, parents, students. That is really I think what is going to be important as we move forward. I mean our our goal is obviously to take care of students and tax dollar salaries but in this case really it's to say public education. Uh I'm a strong believer in it obviously. I think everybody on on the board is this is a very fair agreement. I hope that you know the teachers obviously I think um it
038shows that that we value them. We're going to definitely have to look at ways to find savings where we can to to make all zeros balance out. But we're we're a bunch of volunteers who are trying to be responsible with the budget. We're not GM and you know we're a corporation trying to put $10 million bonuses. We're trying to make all the numbers balance out. We've done that here. I think and thank you to everybody who involved in the process. I think it it was long road, tough road, but I'm glad to see us at the end of it. Finally, >> all in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? The motion passes. >> For uh the next item is item 8E, employment agreement. Can I have a motion to approve the contract of Miss Jennifer
039Saxa as assistant superintendent for a 5-year period beginning July 1st, 2026 through June 30th, 2031 under the terms and conditions set forth in the employment agreement between Miss Saxa and the board of school directors. We >> move second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? >> Yay. >> Love to see this. Thanks for all of your hard work, Jen. >> Um I would just like love to say that I appreciate your continued commitment to the district um and all that you do within your role and so we are grateful that um we're continuing this partnership. >> I'm proud to serve this community and the school district and I appreciate the opportunity to do so >> and just from my lens glad to continue having you here. You've been an incredible support through my transition. So, thank
040you very much and happy it's going to continue. >> All in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? The motion passes. Section nine takes us to people services for 9A. Can I have a motion to approve the following out of district educational contracts for the following students as listed? >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? All in favor? >> Any opposed? The motion passes. 9B. Can I have a motion to approve the following educational service agreement for a district student? This agreement covers reimbursement for privately obtained legitimate educational services as incurred by the family for the benefit of the student. >> Okay. Moved. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion? All in favor? >> I. Any oppose? The motion passes. Section 10 takes us to academics and instruction. Can I have a motion to approve items 10B through
04110D as presented on the agenda? >> Moved. >> Please second. Moved and seconded. Any discussion? >> Um, one of the uh items for approval is the HHS course selection guide, and we went over that at a prior meeting. Um, for anyone who wasn't able to catch that meeting, um, even if you just flip through this guide, it is so amazing to see the just the the uh, variety of courses offered by our high school. Um, it I it is just such an exciting time to go to Habford High and to have this um, be the choices that you have to make. Um, it's really difficult. I see how difficult it is for our students to make these decisions. But thank you again to everyone for putting this together and for that presentation. >> Similar with
042the AP uh uh European history textbook I think is is fantastic. We had a chance to leaf through that and you know again amazing materials to support our kids and teachers. >> All in favor? >> Any oppose? The motion passes. We have nothing on the agenda for section 11 policy or section 12 other items. For section 13, public comments for other items, there was no one that signed up for that section of public comments either. We will continue on to section 14, which is report on executive session. The board met before tonight's meeting to receive an update from council on a right to know litigation matter in the court of common please of Delaware County. Um, additionally to discuss with council a matter of agency business that if discussed in public would violate a lawful
043privilege or lead to disclosure of information protected by law to review matters for emermergency preparedness, protection of public safety and security of property related to yesterday's incident at the high school. and additionally to receive an update on the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement. For section 15, the next regular board meeting of the of the board is a work session scheduled to be held on January 8th, 2026 at 7 p.m. in the boardroom of the Oakmont Administration building. Can I have a motion to adjourn the meeting? Happy holidays.
