um okay i'm going to call to order the committee meeting for august 25th 2022 at 6 01 pm dr oberg thank you madam president good evening members of the board members administration uh we have three items for committee tonight uh first is student handbooks you're going to see in your agenda for this evening that we have updates to the handbook and mr bonus is going to speak to a few of them from the high school level [Music] thank you good evening um hope everybody's ready for the start of a fresh new school year feels good i think we're all pretty much ready and good to go here so good three days of in-service with the teachers giving them that day tomorrow to get their classrooms ready and get some time alone to take a look
at their uh all the things that they need to do to be ready for student arrival so it's a pretty exciting time good good three days of in-service here so i'm appreciative of that in the calendar the changes to the high school student handbook a lot of them are typically cosmetic updating dates updating names of people who have changed positions um this year um you know that when i do a edit it's usually green and you can see the attachment there that i'm referring to on the agenda item when i do an edit it's in red just like i do the academic handbook green is a is a change and black is just sort of an update um there's not really much here the deletion of the horticulture program studies which we talked about and
did a few months ago from the vocational agriculture program is included in there because it's in the student handbook changing our vision and mission statements to reflect the update from the strategic plan um um the one thing i did want to cover in with the board um it mentions we included uh before i go to that some change in the library because right now we don't have a librarian in that position now so that language and the handbook and the way in which the library is utilized during the school day had to be changed to reflect that uh practice the addition of the chromebook policy any damage has to be made restitution for before the child obviously graduates but that's already in the handbook in the chromebook registration page and the therapy dog we included
that in there as well the one change i wanted to point to was on pages 49 and 50. and i would like to add this to the level 4 disciplinary code of the high school middle school high school and district wide really so level one are minor offenses level two level three level four obviously the higher you go up they're more serious infractions we're taught at level four we're talking about threat terroristic threats to the school environment we're talking about weapons we're talking about drugs and alcohol we're talking about um really when it gets into a very serious infringements upon our ability to operate a safe campus i would like to add this to a level four violation and it says add student refusal to comply with a search request of administration will result in
parental contact suspension uh possible expulsion police notification and sub subsequent legal action against a student and here's the reason in the rationale if a student first of all student search is a huge huge responsibility and it's usually a last resort to a situation where there is obviously reasonable suspicion typically that there's drugs and alcohol or a weapon in the possession of a student in this case i mean we don't search for for minor things we're only going to search if it's like i said drugs and alcohol or a weapon those are those are i've been here 20 years those that that power is respected first of all as an administrator i have reasonable suspicion and that's a threshold that's less than a policeman would have for probable cause right i think everybody sort of is
under familiar with those terms and that is a huge responsibility and it's not one to be taken lightly it's not one to be abused you use this as a last resort when you need to know that that person or that student or whoever it may be has something possibly on them that can harm people on this campus in one way shape or form so a student search is sort of the last course of action when we search students we inform the parents as well but if i have a student who refuses to be searched and i have reasonable suspicion that they have in their possession something that can endanger the thousand people that are on this campus i needs i need a course a recourse to handle that situation okay because i'm not going to
physically restrain a student and search them you don't want me to do that and i'm not going to do that i don't think that that's reasonable for me to do that but at the same time if they refuse to have their but i'm talking about when i talk about search i'm talking about empty your pockets i'm talking about check your book bag things like that i'm not talking about anything excessive pat downs or things like that um but if they refuse to comply with that search they have to know in the parent as well know that if you refuse to search then we're going to treat it as if you have something and a good reason why you don't want to be searched because you have something that you know you shouldn't have on campus
and can be harmful to others on this campus all right so at that point you're going to have a susp you're going to be supervised until somebody can come and get you right you're going to be under under supervision until somebody can come and get you you're going to leave with your parents a suspension is going to be issued and a charge is going to be filed with the magistrate for impeding an investigation and that's actually a juvenile petition but it's the only recourse that that i need to have in that situation because if not they have to go back to class because i don't have a reason to hold that and i'm asking that you that you understand that that's not something that i take lightly but at the same time it's come to
a point that i need a course of action to make sure that this person cannot harm the other people during the day so that is that is something i'd like to add as a level four i have a couple of questions okay okay so one is and i i forgive me i've not read the entire student well yeah for a long time when i was teaching here i did but um is it stated anywhere in the discipline code that a search would only be requested at the time of reasonable suspicion yes yeah yeah that's understanding yes that's uh that's understood well understood or stated um i think it's it's i think it's stated under the search policy because there is a district policy for search okay and then my other question is um what about
if a student merely says i'd like to have my parents present prior to the search or for the search is that a separate thing i don't want to i think we would we would respect that for sure for sure if if it's in a situation that i know that that student doesn't in the case of a weapon like sometimes you're making decisions on the fly that you you may not have time for that parent to come up because you need to get that there's been someone told you to maybe saw a weapon on the student on the bus like i'm not going to slow down to i'll contact the parent afterwards but i'm not going to slow down in that situation but if a parent if a kid refuse to search i have the parent
on the phone with the student understand here's the situation i'll explain to them why the search is necessary and and let them inform them of the consequences if the student doesn't comply because i'm also calling at that time saying you need to come get your child from from campus but i think in all possible cases the parents said i'd like to be there wait there until until uh the search takes place then i don't have a problem with that but if the parent also says that no you can't search my child at that point i i don't know what they have on them and then i have to send back class right because i have no reason to hold him here i mean i it's it's to the point that this is this is a
necessary piece because this is a great possibility uh of a scenario that any administrator in any school could face i just would think to alleviate possible concerns when it comes to searching students if it was in print somewhere that a search is only requested at the time of reasonable suspicion that kind of takes care of it so that was yeah i think our policy does i think our policy i'll look again but i think our policy does say that because that's that's sort of the measure of student search like the student has a right to privacy here uh and once again a search is a final there's no other option for me to know obviously through conversation you try and find the situation and try and see if there's a threat um but at the
same time the student says i'm not doing i'm not getting a physical struggle with you right um and like i said without that i don't i don't have another reason to hold them i and they may indeed have something on them that they go back into the classroom setting and um i i think you're just seeing um some of these processes thought out more and more across the nation as a way of keeping campuses safe thank you sure yes um during your search um will there be like will the chief be present or at least yeah well you never structure alone you always have another administrator uh chief is always possible or if in this case i'm as a male if i have a female student then i'll have a female guidance counselor administrator or
somebody else president in that situation once again we're talking about mdm pockets we're talking about searching the book bag right we're talking about just sort of fundamental places that can carry those items and we're talking about it when you have a very firm ground to act like i said i i've been doing this for 20 years and i don't abuse that because i know that that is a very um it's a very strong power to give to somebody but at the same time at that same time i'm trying to balance the needs and privacy and right to privacy of that student versus 500 500 kids over here in a high school and another 400 over there like you're trying to balance things and you're not reckless with it you always make sure you connect the
dots the reason for the search is this there's been times where people say well you have the right to certainly now you don't have that like i'm good at sort of my filters about anytime i'm going to take that action um a lot of times we'll talk about it as a team as well with some of the other in in the middle school what do you have here here's a situation and make that rationalization and make it a firm case because you know this is always something that it has some legal requirements and legal parameters attached to it so um the chief's standing behind you if you had something you want to add says it says here in paragraph one of the policy let's say this policy number is two two six one no student
enrolled in the guppy school district may be subjected to any form of student search unless prior to the initiative initiation of the search there exists reasonable grounds to suspect the student in question has violated the law or the rules regulations or policies of mcguffey school district and that the student is presently in possession of evidence of such violations thank you so it is stated thank you chief but um i don't ask for this lightly i don't wish to use this to create an environment that's that's hostile to kids but i i think we need to cover this base because if not it leaves us exposed in some ways okay thank you it sounds like it's buried in a policy right now and you're just bringing it today i'm bringing it more like it's probably understood
but i'm i'm putting it right there in clear language it's a kind of balance it's one thing to have a policy it's another thing to have a tool that allows you to enforce the policy true right and that's what you're asking for you're asking for the tool to enforce the policy that we already have yeah and hopefully it will never come into into practice like i said this is not about trying to recreate the environment that we have here or try to take something that that is an intrusion on students race to privacy i mean understanding and respecting those times but at the same time dealing with a situation that is more than likely to arise and having the implied authority to do it but now having the sort of over policy language to basically
i would just suggest that you don't tie your hands and limit yourself to weapons and say drugs and alcohol because you're going to have tobacco violations you're going to have vaping violations i'm saying the typical the typical things that come down to a search i'm not saying that's the only right now and the wording that you're using doesn't it just says students refusal to comply with a search request it doesn't say for what reason yeah typically and on searches are not something that you like you said what you're looking for is is contraband in one way shape or form but you're right like limiting yourself and i wouldn't say that's the only reason we research but in reality that's probably 99 of the cases in which i have and i've probably done i mean if
i have two searches a year it's maybe three i mean in that in that case yeah and i would this is actually for you the reasonable grounds is a different standard than reasonable suspicion and the case law from new jersey versus tlo specifically says reasonable suspicion so we might need to look at we need to look at the policy yeah everything more questions okay thank you thank thank you thank you picking up uh actually the second i have for you is uh our welcome back our getting back into the school in our preparation uh just to speak back off what mr bonus said we just finished up our three day of service um i think it was a success i sit here exhausted at the same time of that mental physical exhaustion we have over
three days of having planned it having gone through it um i also feel an exhilaration because we're that much closer we're four days away uh next monday august 29th is when we welcome back all of our students and all the buildings and i feel when it came to the preparation um the entire team that's behind you to to my right here you know your right or left uh had a big to-do in that i want to thank them for that especially the act 48 team and that was led by dr doctrine but also too this year uh unlike the previous year there was a lot of input from the act 48 team made up of teachers and they came to us and they had some items that they wanted to have specifically brought to them
in professional development of those three days and that was part of it the first day was a great kickoff because we spent the majority of that day talking about new safety protocols safety measures for our school so again hats off chief zeminski and his team they led us through drills both talking to us and then actually having us work out some of our alice drills as we did by building so we actually broke up in the afternoon went to our buildings and talked about some things we would do in that case and that's something that we're going to continue on um so again that's the first thing the second thing that i have is a recognition of the building itself and again mr craig mckee is behind you but his team of cleaners custodians maintenance
workers from literally the day our staff leaves so their last day here from that day until really right up until the first day of school they have mapped out a plan for cleaning maintaining upgrading our buildings and um i think it's clockwork they oftentimes uh i'll tease them i said you know i'm going to slow you down a little bit i'm going to walk over a taped area that you have because they have areas throughout the course of the year uh but i just can't say enough i can't say enough of how great our buildings are looking the work they've done in all three of them the upgrades they've made uh primarily and well actually in all three but uh some some flooring issues that were done in uh claysville as well as flooring and
joe walker um so again i want to recognize them they make our school safe also uh they make our school clean uh and they make it a welcoming environment not just for our students to come in here but of course our staff so ian hats off to to mr mckee and his entire team have that um next item i have is is transfections busting um i think that's like with our our work that goes on through the course of the year something that you don't recognize until it doesn't show up at your doors and as a parent as a student even when you're waiting to get to your school that's so important and the safety that goes into that so i want to first talk about the bus drivers from both first student gg and
c we had an opportunity to have an in-service with them a week ago and i told them that they are critical to our school they are never just i've heard too often whether it be a cafeteria worker whether it be a custodian a cleaner a bus driver that they're just a bus driver or they're just the paraprofessional they're just and there's no such thing every piece of the mcguffey school community every piece of that family is integral they make our job better they bring our kids safely to our school and they transport them home and so we had that discussion with them but also too having not successfully completed the program yet for my cdl i'm looking to go back possibly at the end of october november to finish that mr wilson of course celino
has i have a great appreciation for what they do in getting our students here to and fro from safely the safety checks that they put in both the preparation time before they actually get the bus on the road and then after when they bring that bus home to check on on the maintenance of the bus we've been having talked about uh mr mike wilson i want to give a shout out to mr wilson as well as miss jody white they are putting in the final touches on putting together a bus schedule and that's working with the existing folks that we have in both first and ggc and figuring out the best most economical routes to get our sons and daughters to and from school safely and so again i would be remiss if i didn't
talk about the work and the effort that he and jody have put into this and again our appreciation for our bus driver community every year at mcguffy we welcome new new staff and tonight uh we're going to hire some more individuals and it is on us as a team as administrators and teachers to make sure that not only do we welcome them into our family but we give them the tools the tool belt to make sure that they are successful long term one of the four years that we're focused on is what's called recruitment and retention of hollywood fatigue to call it qualified teachers here at mcduffie and the one of the ways you retain someone who says yep i want to be on your team i want to be at my death they've raised
their hand and said this is where i want to be is making sure that we give them everything to get them properly started off on the right foot so over the course of three days last week we had our new teacher induction part of that is introducing to a mentor teacher who's going to be with that individual for the entire year helping them understand climate culture instructional practices here school safety uh we go over our priority challenges we talk to them about mission vision and how they impact all those areas so again uh kudos to our induction team made up of mr wolf and mr welk as well as again dr doctrine who also heads that up they were a big part of the retention recruitment here but certainly their attention to our teachers and
making sure that when they enter the classrooms they feel more comfortable the biggest thing that we heard from our staff our news our new teachers over those three days was what's your concern and they just said we're nervous because we're going to do this right and we're like okay that's the right answer we're going to work with you it's okay to have those nerves nerves tells you get ready to do something important and i think we have a great prop coming in there and then finally as was mentioned uh i want to thank the board again for their support those three days of in-service are valuable having them uh blocked together the way that we have them to start the school year is important but also too and i've heard this one from teachers and
i didn't recognize the importance it was the board they actually recommend this to that and that was typically in the years past we would have our three days in service then that friday would be the time for clerical for the teachers and in fact of course as we know they had a flexible clerical day and they they've used it some teachers only need that day some teachers need all five days or all six days so that flexibility that was created in the scheduling again i appreciate that that's something we'll continue in future calendars but uh that helped them to get ready for the school uh with that again we're real excited i can't wait for monday to come around and i think the staff is geared up and certainly the administration team is as well
the last item i have for this evening is uh sort of twofold i need to give a covet update and that will then lead us into discussion over our health and safety plan as well as talking about the emergency instructional time template so again four days away um conversations that many superintendents have really anyone that is involved in schools moms and dads included is where are we when it comes to copenhagen policies and as of two weeks ago during the iu meeting for all superintendents we had individuals from the pennsylvania department of health as well as department education and their talk with us was this that they will not i repeat not be issuing any new public or separate public health guidance for k-12 schools this year in regards to cobin 18. and i'm just
going to continue reading because again make sure i cover everything instead they have encouraged us being superintendents to continue to refer to the cdc's pre-existing guidance and to make sure our health and safety plan is updated to reflect any changes if necessary now the first item i want to bring up and that is also on the agenda here's the health and safety plan that was adopted last school year there are no changes we are status quo there's nothing that i'm going to bring to you and say this needs to be changed we were ahead of a curve in many ways when it came to the masking and those kind of things so after reviewing that i'm going to tell you that i'm not recommending any changes to our health and safety plan um when it
comes to local patrol this is what was explained to us decisions on masking and closure due to cover 19 remain under local control entering this school year 2022-2023 as educational officials have no expectation again that standard federal mandates will return uh the center for disease control so now kind of working our way out uh in recent weeks has relaxed its guidance in several areas that's what i've talked about a few of them it no longer the cdc center for disease control recommends self-quarantining when coming into contact with an infected person and also doesn't recommend the six-foot rule for social distance it also will no longer recommend testing in schools which again mcguffy never took part in masking is still recommended but not required it's not mandated communities however their recommendation is that in communities with
high rates of transmission uh and for certainly people with at risk health conditions those pre-existing conditions they they they would recommend again recommendation only they're wearing a masks the only thing that we are required to continue to do that we have since last year is with the reporting of positive cases so school districts are still required to report positive cases of covenant team that are reported to us to the pennsylvania department of health through this school year the process again remains the same uh we were required to report any aggregate cases during the course of the week and those numbers on a weekly basis to the department of health through uh it's called the future rated comprehensive portal and again the process that we would follow this year is no different than how we finished
last year so we're again only to complete weekly surveys and if there's not any new cases during the course of that week there's no reporting that needs to occur um and then that leads me then into just my discussion then on the instructional time template so for the last two school years during the course of the pandemic uh every school all five rent districts in pennsylvania had to have what's called an emergency instructional time template and at our meeting with the superintendents in department health department of education department education recommended highly that every school have this template adopted by its board of directors before the start of the school year and their reason was again they can't they don't have a crystal ball they can't foresee the future but in case something were to happen
that would cause schools to close our fit days are not geared for a long-term closure again our flexible instructional days which you approved several months back was meant for five days where we could use them how we wish what they're recommending is to have for the third year in a row the instructional time template and i'll just i'll just kind of read you a couple of the details um in case the scenario do not present itself that we would not have to close school for a length of time we'd have again the use of our fed however um this is different because the plan allows for three things so in our plan if there was say a global pandemic just use that as our example since we're coming right out of one if we had
to close school for a period of time we've said that we have three ideas one is only for those students that be at risk would we have a hybrid learning model for them or full learning from remote and we could still possibly if the circumstances existed have students come on site that's basically model a model b is the model that we followed for the better part of the 21 20 20 20 21 school year which was the hybrid learning model where we had some students come here on on days a which was monday tuesday we had remote wearing day on wednesday and then we had our other group of students coming on thursday friday and then the third model allowed for an instructional time template again the same mode that we've had for the last
two years is we would go full remote so circumstances requires that we would have our students for extended period of time more than five days under four remote so what i'm going to ask the board tonight when we get to uh superintendent's recommendations is to adopt again the emergency structural time template those three models for in case of and that's where i'm kind of leave that so questions about that so it will not be used for weather related stuff no no this is not that's a good question this is strictly for this is this is specifically for that type of pandemic and this is what this is the only time we'd ever use this was for that it states that in the plan as well well i think it did last year but we used
it for snow last year we we used remote learning days which was different right that's there were two different things well i i don't understand how it's different because you have fib days and you have these days but they are actually classified as two different things so we didn't use fit days what i'm saying last year because they were only for cold weather not snow right so we used these for for snow days no no no we didn't we actually used so so there were three things one of those is off the table and that was remote learning days remote learning days was planned for if you had to have potentially for the pandemic but also the way the language was written it allowed for us to use it for those days where we had
inclement weather and i used them even night for snow but when we had a flood here we couldn't have school those kind of things my hands were tied so we don't have those anymore no those are gone yeah those are gone we have five good days for weather and of course we have uh board approved we have our three days for makeup right so that we can use those in case and we didn't use those of course last year and then of course we have this in case of the pandemic i don't remember and i was trying to look at does the board does it come to the board for a decision as to moving through what those one of those three models yeah i'm like i can't remember it seems to me that we
had a lot of discussion at the time as to whether when to move back from like remote to well that will come to the board for that correct i mean we would discuss that that is in the hands of the superintendent as far as making those decisions on it in approving this then he would decide if we're doing a bmc yeah i think that's part of the health and safety plan you approve that right the yeah was more about when we were trying to approve the plan okay i just couldn't remember thank you and that's all i have for committee okay that's it oh my i'm going to um end committee then it is 6 32 so we will reconvene for um the regular meeting at 6 40. how about that for those of you
that are in attendance online i'm going to mute the session at this point and then i will start back up at 6 40. i usually know the ladies at the gate and she said oh all right blah blah blah 4 30. if somebody's not going to be here tonight okay at this time i'm going to call to order the regularly scheduled board meeting for august 25th 2022 at 6 40 pm roll call please mr haynes here present mr burns here mr laser mr ross here this is here please stand for the pledge of allegiance i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all [Music] okay we have two recognitions we're going to do

yes um so the policy is is in place is it we're not making any changes there it's exactly as it always has been okay this is just a tool in the discipline code in the handbook to allow them to enforce the policy so two separate things so it's made aware to those okay okay thank you for clarifying that i came in a little bit late and thank you and um that was it that was it for my agenda items okay thank you thank you anybody else mr weston or mr chieftain sorry no matter president that's all sorry okay thank you i don't know what happened to my give me a second i lost my agenda yeah [Music] okay i need a motion to approve the minutes of the july 21st 2022 school board meeting as

continuing education units that were required as part of our for our teachers has been extended so if anybody didn't get them done because of the kova thing it is extended for a whole year from july this year to july of uh 2023 as well as reactivation and inactivation certification so for any of the educators anybody that you know even that is not worked but wants to get back into the working field and needs to renew their certification that fee has changed and that requirement has changed it's been updated and they're holding on to uh active status longer so if this is something that applies to anybody you know it's worth going on there and printing out that name fee and it's extended for a longer period of time so if you depending on how long
they've been inactive they may not even have to be recertified and that's always a result of the loss due to coving and the teaching situation where we are that's really the only did you get our list of the updated school codes i did i actually there was an action paper that went out to all the administrators okay two or three weeks ago if anybody wants to look it's on our website as well okay it does break down well most of them are dates extensions yeah yeah yeah there's some safety and security yeah okay i just was making sure because we mentioned it the last time thank you okay thank you very much yeah dr o'brien is going to send them out to the board okay okay thank you well i've had any email problem so
it could have come and i didn't see it thank you that's all i have okay thank you at this time we will take public comment on non-agenda items out of prison we have two in person uh first we call monique fry morris township good evening monique from morris township i'll get this first one out so i don't forget it um my daughter's a student here obviously and she had a suggestion that i actually already briefly suggested to dr oberg she gets very nervous about going back to school and not knowing her way around the building and where her new classes are who her new teachers are and so on and so forth um she had actually suggested open house being before school starts and of course my husband and i explained to her that that
was more for parents to meet teachers and and see how they're doing in school and so on and so forth but her her suggestion and um i guess you could say wish would be that possibly hopefully next year um mcguffy would maybe initiate something that the students would have you know the day or two before school began an activity day of some kind where they could come meet their teachers find where their classrooms are with or without parents i don't know if i would prefer to be there as a parent but i don't know how how it might look but that that was something that i wanted to to bring up and bring to your attention the other thing i want to talk about is books as you all know i've been on a roll
with with the content of the books there's a couple that i want to touch on water for elephants um it is a big one for me um it breaks my heart to see some of the content in these books so i apologize if i get emotional there are um graphic descriptions in this book of strippers breasts smacking together as well as several other sexual acts the ar reading level accelerated reading level that it is is placed in a sixth grade reading level that shatters me as a parent to know that that my student would have access to that in a sixth grade level slaughterhouse five descriptions of feeding a dog shards of metal and watching the dog bleed from the mouth start crying and i quote rolled on the ground as though the knives were
on the outside of him instead of on the inside of him and then tried to bite out his own insides the ar reading level of seventh grade and we wonder why our students think and act the way that they do sometimes perhaps you need to look within these walls to see what they're being exposed to and why and how do we get rid of this because i will fight till the end to get rid of this in this in this school district our students should not have access to this and [Music] it's disgusting something with the ar reading level i've been doing some research about that as well something they use is the lexile measure some of it is the atos the atos readability formula all of these things are supposed to not just match
the level of the student's ability to read and comprehend but whenever they're putting a sixth grade comprehension of strippers smacking their breasts together but i just don't i can't put this together i don't i don't understand how these paid professionals put this stuff in front of students or why it's in this building i understand that the legal age is 16 and older and perhaps there needs to be i know i've been talking about a policy for for content of these books and and who has access to these books but we have to do something because my child's at risk for mental instability because that is what this can cause when you're exposing students to pornographic images whether it's actual visual pictures or if it's all textual it creates an image and it plants a seed
in their mind and i'm disgusted i'm thoroughly disgusted with this there's many many more and you'll be receiving them so that you guys can see the content i'm not going to read these i i could it's too embarrassing to be honest with you it's just disgusting and we need we need to do something about it because i know i'm not the only parent that feels this way and i wish more would come and and stand up and speak up and see what their kids have access to and i just i don't trust our paid professionals not whenever they're saying sixth grade reading level is appropriate to read about blow jobs and a stripper's breast smacking together it's just disgusting and i'm really pushing for a policy of some kind to either parental consent needs to
be required or something we need to do something because this is out of control and it has been thank you thank you thank you mr president this is libby chapman south franklin township [Music] tonight i would like to share my thoughts about the proposed changes that the biden administration plans to make to title ix which will have direct and harmful consequences to every school child from k-12 and into higher education the founding of our country our forefathers recognize the laws of nature and of nature's god as well as the rights given to the people by their creator the government of the united states is a republic which derives its powers from the consent of the governed a thorough read of the ref and a refresher of the declaration of independence should solidify our foundation as
a people governed first by god and his law and then by the consent of the government as a people must remain aware and alert and wake up to ideologies that have insidiously entered school culture i stand firm in my belief as our founders did in 1776 that we are created by god as a christian i do not make it a habit to meet people and seek to condemn them jesus said to love as he loved the bible says it is his kindness that leads us to repentance time and again he forgave ones who were brought to him who were sinful the pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery to him think of it the pharisees had to be stalking her to catch her in the very act of adultery and he forgave her and told
