thank you exactly okay the board is now reconvening at 603. please stand for the pledge hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all thank you okay the floor is now open for public testimony I'm going to read through a summary before we have an individual speak during the meetings of the Board of Trustees members of the public have the opportunity to comment on items that appear on the agenda or items that do not appear on the agenda but are within the subject matter or jurisdictions of the school board individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the board on each agenda or not in generalized
item the board shall limit the total time for public input to no more than 20 minutes speakers May yield may not yield or donate any of their time to another speaker the board consent with board consent the president may increase or decrease the amount of time and we do have an individual that would like to speak that would be matte Guilford well hi everybody hi my name is Matt Guilford I'm a father of two children here in Beaumont univer busd I'm also a licensed marriage and family therapist which means I have a master's degree in Psychology which is sort of where I'm coming from today I it's my understanding that busd does not have a specific policy in place currently in support of lgbtq Youth um I feel that it's very important to have a
very proactive kind of stance toward this currently the reason being I the lgbtq youth have about a four times higher chance of for example having a suicide attempt compared to their heterosexual peers and as a therapist I I have quite a bit of experience working with this population and I understand how marginalized this population feels currently I I know that Los Angeles Unified School District Oakland Unified School District Sacramento Unified School District San Francisco Unified School District I I think San Diego Unified School District all have specific policies in place I to help you know support and bolster this population which as you all know you know have been having a very difficult time I especially the last oh six to eight years or so I I believe that this is an issue that the
board should take up and really strongly consider I just kind of having one of these policies in place that would provide for example uh training to staff regarding lgbtq issues um I Community engagement Outreach I and just sort of providing a more supportive environment for this population at busd schools I know that it can be kind of a difficult issue for some people to talk about and bring up and there's some controversy around around it I and the reason that I want to address that is that it's a really good example of the marginalization itself just bringing this issue up can kind of feel like you're you're you're tiptoeing a little bit right and this is how this population feels pretty much all the time I they feel that they can't be themselves they feel
that they can't come out they they feel marginalized which they are I so again I would just like to strongly encourage Beaumont Unified School District to you know take a real strong stance on this uh to put out a statement maybe in support of this population and ultimately to have real a a real policy in place that would allow the school district to I like I said before educate staff educate teachers I and make it something that you know we're all talking about so thanks again uh thanks for hearing me out my name is Matt Guilford thank you Mr Guilford another speaker Melissa Higgins hi um it's Melissa Huggins that's okay I write kind of messy I'm a social worker I like kind of write all day so my writing is a little funny so
I'm actually going to come to you with a different perspective I'm going to come from you within our lgbtq plus Community okay I myself am a part of that Community I've grown up in that I've grown up in our school districts I know what's there for us and what's not the reality of this situation is that Beaumont unified does not have anything specific any verbiage specific that it applies to our lgbtq plus students and other demographics of students yes there's vague stuff in there such as like you know anti-bullying and things like that but what happens when a transgender student is you know violated or victimized what happens when you know a young girl decides that she's going to come out as gay and then gets jumped because she no longer wants to be with
the male demographic right what happens then those are actual hate crimes and there's nothing that you guys have that we have that states what consequences are for these people who've done this to them because we can't do that in the real world if we were if these kids were adults and things like that and these things happened there would be bigger consequences than just like okay Little Johnny you're suspended for three days okay that like no that's not okay this is an actual hate crime against a you know a protected group class of people that's what that is and until you are in our position my position someone who has had their children you know not allowed to play with other children because oh your mommies are gay or guess what you can't look at
their their marriage photos because that's a photo album of two women right until you've been that person who has been in a classroom where the principal comes in yes I taught for 15 years and who principal comes in and says hey guess what Sally's mom doesn't want you in here because yeah you're gay right that happens those are all real stories that have happened to me okay my children have been victimized in this community they've been victimized at school and it's time that we actually put something in place that not only protect our students but protect our staff because I know plenty of Staff who have actually been victimized from parents students they have um but they've been made fun of just walking across campus like that's not okay so until we decide that we're
going to protect this class of people and that you guys are actually here to support not just students but staff and that you guys are going to actually take that seriously as when we can finally have an open dialogue about that because there's nothing shameful about loving somebody there's just not because until somebody can tell you who you can love and who you can marry is when you will truly understand who we are and what we're about thank you thank you Carol any further comment cards okay section 8.0 or reports report out of closed session Rick Williamson thank you it was moved by Susie Laura and seconded by David Sanchez to appoint Dr Mariana signs to the position of principal at Summerwind Trail School effective date to be determined this was a unanimous vote in

over me all the way until our next board meeting just in case we don't want anybody to miss some of these opportunities we have on May 3rd College Signing Day at Beaumont High School I'm sorry I missed May 2nd Elementary band concert at Beaumont High School and May 5th Mecca Club Cinco de Mayo celebration at Beaumont High School and May 9th a regular board meeting May 10th is as you will approve tonight the two resolutions will be the day of the teacher and then May 22nd to 26th classified Employee Appreciation week we'll have all of our staff celebrations throughout the month and that concludes my report Mr President thank you Mr Keisha excellent report 9.0 consent agenda items prepared for the consent agenda excuse me consent agenda items are consistent with adopted and approved policies
of the district and are deemed routine in nature they will be acted upon in one motion without discussion unless a board member or trustee requests that an eye to be pulled in that event they will be taken up and the order indicated on the main agenda so do we have a motion well we have any board members right now wishing to pull an item 9.9 9.9 any others okay do we have a motion do it approve 9.2 through 9.8 moved by Miss Laura I'll second Say Goodbye Mr Mitchell call for the vote I voted but it froze up Let me refresh the page no problem the consent agenda is approved now we'll move to agenda item 10.1 which will be 9.9 from the consent agenda Mr Mitchell there's a couple contracts for the Marquis at
Brookside the one for Earth system specific facilities for geotechnical and materials testing and special Inspection Services I believe they're testing the dirt I I if I read that correctly is this a DSA requirement and is this new or have we approved such services with other Marquee projects we have installed in ground Mr Mitchell is it okay if Lisa Hendricks comes forward to answer this question Earth system Southwest will provide the required materials testing there will be some Earth testing for the compaction level before the Marquee is set in place also testing of the materials the steel the bolts that kind of stuff is what Earth Systems does so that's in addition to what the manufacturer of the Marquee to installing it right yes and so this is someone another company that has to check their
work correct and that is required testing by DSA okay and as we've done that in the past when we've had the in-ground Marquees that have been there previously and have been replaced recently so the replacement Marquees that we've recently done we've just basically replaced the guts inside of them so we haven't had to have that material testing done because we're doing a like for like replacement the reason we're doing this is because we're pulling the whole existing Marquee out of the ground and replacing with a new one and that's why additional testing is required thank you and it says it takes about five weeks do we have an estimated completion time right now the current schedule shows that to be complete around June 5th thank you appreciate it Lisa thank you and then um regarding
the purchasing of two Portable Restrooms to accommodate increased um capacity I guess we're cutting uh starting with the fields out here that may be one location for those portable bathrooms we are purchasing them for use for emergencies closed down for a short part of the day we can move those trailers over to a school site to be used they're ADA Compliant one for adults one for students is the input that we put in place for purchasing two So currently each year we have to rent porta potties out for the baseball fields so our recommendation is if they are approved we would put one at the baseball field and one over at the softball field so those can also be used throughout the year instead of renting Porta pots I think it's great it's long overdue
we should have done a long time ago so I think that's great the only question I have on that is um will our mno team service cells that is correct they will need to be serviced every single day they are in use yes so to be part of the oh I'm sorry not cleaning I mean actually I was kind of looking at the specs the heating and all that I was looking at some of the specs it seems uh will the company train our mno people to manage all that not just the cleaning but actuals the equipment or yes we're not Outsourcing to take care of it no no got it thank you appreciate it that's all good questions do we have a motion to approve 10.1 I'll move approval moved by Mr Mitchell second

the athletic directors have moved into their new spaces and are ready to serve our students and the principal has set up his new office in the new building now due to the ongoing rain and during March the traffic coat was one of the last items to be completed these images just show a bit of the process on the top left you see the grinding out of all the cracks the top right shows the crack patch um then uh the lower left shows the coating during the curing process and the last image on the right shows the completed seal coat the coating was completed last week we had to wait for the first section to completely cure before we could move on to the next section so that is fully complete now moving on to Mountain
View Middle School where the new Marquee has been installed staff has been trained to use it and so now the site has a way to promote their upcoming events at Beaumont Adult School the wraps that were approved during the last board meeting have been installed these images show the new front entry and the wraps that were added to provide a new image inside the front office and then these are just a few of the images that are on the buildings facing Cherry Avenue they let the community know about the programs available through the adult education program I really encourage you if you haven't seen them to drive by because I didn't show them all just a quick sample of that and then that concludes our presentation for this evening are there any questions yes can
you go back to the high school which one the concrete this one here yes I I'm personally not happy with it at all um will the uh subcontractor or whomever give us a 20-year lifespan on this with this seal coat they put on top of those cracks so the concrete that is in is a frames hold the concrete in Place Silver this is Silver Creek part of Silver Creek's project we have a standard one-year warranty in all the work the reason we clear out the cracks and provide the seal and it is so that we have a smooth finish on this seal coat so the concrete is going to crack we have we're in a very fault heavy area and we really don't have a ton of control over concrete cracking well we do have
the control over our mix if it's going to be a 4 000 or 3500 and we can also add nylon to the mix as well as well as reborn wire enforcement this looks like it was a bad batch from the company uh and it's too weak and again you're right we're going to have upheaval from Frost in the future even future settling I this this should be ripped out and Report and this should go out this should be coming out of the pockets of the subcontractor that did this I can bring that up at our next construction meeting and report back on the findings from the team and everyone who drives on the freeway knows that those sealants don't work at over a long period of time we see them all the time no and
this is on the second floor balcony and this is just the process the way that the process goes to install that seal coat okay if I would appreciate it if if you would get in touch with the the person in charge of this because again this is not to Industry standards for commercial use it's actually going to be a liability in the future for us I will look into that and report back to the board thank you very much you've done an excellent job um just like I said this just really didn't sit well with me all right I understand thank you I think the front yeah that looks amazing that looks amazing I was there for the swim meet last week and um my only question is I thought we were gonna the letters
that sit on top that say Walmart in high school I thought those were going to be like a darker color because they're they're white they kind of just kind of kind of blend out just that's my own opinion I just don't know if anybody and I can look into what it would take to change the color of those but that was as designed and uh our initial in images and renderings show that as a white sign up there okay it'd be nice if it was blue blue cougar blue so we can look at the cost impact to change those to Blue so yeah I mean it looks amazing though I mean it was up there it just everything just looked so nice and um I just want to come in the high school too for
their um the traffic I hear is moving smoothly they've got people out there working on it and just it's going really well so I'm really really happy to hear that yay yeah if we move forward with the blue could would you bring that back to the board yes because it would be well I potentially have enough allowance to already cover it well I'm afraid if it's painted it'll just start chipping no we would get new lettering president would like it brought back I I would because yes okay he's if it's if everybody wants to change it I just I mean I realized I think you got a great idea about the blue it's just again I don't want someone just to go up there and paint it yeah sorry no we would request that they
replace the lettering with the blue in the budget that you have you bring it back as a report um like you're doing today that works let me see what I can do with that I I can warn you of one thing that that will do that will require an additional extension of our osip because we just extended it through April 3rd yet and the lead time for that lettering is quite long so it's other than the traffic code it was the very last thing that they installed so we had a problem with the contractor originally doing that let's leave it alone I think that's a good point that you're bringing forward to us and I appreciate that but I think those are the types of things the board would like to hear when you look
into it and you bring it back and then look let's make a decision at that time yeah all right yeah and we can potentially include it as a future phase of the project so that we include it under another osip instead of including it in this project so I can look at it both ways and just get some cost impact yeah clear up yeah clear it out and then start it yeah okay thank you anything else can you just clarify on the the cement that um Mr Sanchez was concerned about that's part of the new that's on building L okay and the concrete that gets poured in those pans is a lightweight concrete it's not the same concrete that we have out on the grounds and on the sidewalk and that kind of stuff and
the cracks really do happen in those spaces we saw it on the first building we have not seen any repeat cracks coming through on the first building after a full year of use so um I'll look into it but I I and I don't know what the solution will be is this all on the second floor this is all the second floor balcony that's the only place that we did the traffic coating thank you thank you oh now we're at 14 reports receive a report from the California school's employees Association and its chapter 351. do we have any individuals reporting for csca is anyone that wants to report out for CSC okay 14.2 report out from the Beaumont Teachers Association and its president that's me good evening board members president Sanchez superintendent kakish cabinet colleagues
Community I want to start by thanking Mrs kakish for joining me on several listening tours we kind of have a bit of a Sprint here in the last couple of months here where we're going to get around to the remaining sites this is something that we both do it kind of is once a month and then we kind of have to squeeze a few in here at the end so it's a little more frequent so we'll be at Starlight I believe this week we've been we were at tournament Hills very recently and it's a really great thing where we go after school and we talk and we listen to usually at kind of a small group but it varies by sight and when it is and stuff like that and we have a nice conversation
with whoever decides to to come with a certificated staff and we get and we talk for probably an hour and a half and we get really in-depth feedback about what's going on at the site what could use Improvement what are people's concerns often of course it is people with concerns who come to these things but that's uh and that but that's great that's why we're we're going out there and getting that feedback so I just want to thank her for continuing that tradition and doing that with me um some of the feedback we've kind of heard recently that I wanted to share with you uh this evening is about um kindergarten and there's kind of two main things that are sort of um uh hard problems to address but I think that you should be
aware of one is kind of overcrowding on the playgrounds many of our sites like Brookside across the street have the same layout for our elementary sites and the Kinder playground is very small and we've noticed at a couple different sites now that we've gotten sustained concern about the number of students on the playground as we've grown and how we can try and address that and there's been some solutions proposed and Mrs takisha's proposed some solutions as well in the short term but I think the board should be aware as a long-term concern as you're looking at facilities and planning increasing things like that to look to address that and perhaps get some more information on that that you can look at the other thing is we kind of have a sustained problem over the years
faded away of course during the pandemic a little bit when we went online for a bit but we have a two types of Kinder classes one is full day which is the majority right now but we still have Am Pm um kindergarten classes and one of the things because of the way the teacher work day works and things like that there's an overlap time every day where with the AM PM kindergarten class where there can be up to 31 students in the class at time there's no Aid during this time unless there's a special ed situation where that student might have a one-on-one or something like that but there's no Aid provided just for that number of students during that time and it's the entire day on Wednesday because of the the shortened day with
the professional Learning Community time that's provided so this has kind of been a concern for a number of years that's a lot of kindergarteners with one adult potentially and that's been very hard for the staff I know administrators do a lot to help out especially at the beginning of the year where they're running down there to help the kindergarten classes and stuff like that but it's something that I think requires a longer term solution as we look at if we're going to keep Am Pm kindergarten what can we do to support support those those classes because you know it's you know if you imagine a site like Starlight there's doors that open and they have to right right to the outside to the parking lot and if you have a runner it can be a
big safety issue and that's a lot of students to try and keep an eye on at a time so they do their a great job obviously I don't think you've heard of any incidents where they let one get away yet but it's something I think the board should have their eye on as we move forward and we would like to either reduce those numbers or provide some sort of support for those teachers another thing that we hear occasionally and I hear occasionally is split positions where a teacher or a counselor or somebody else is split between two sites I do not feel that this is a great use of the staff members time when they're being split between two sites usually by days and that can have a real impact on I think the quality
of work and the connection to the site that those staff members have so I would encourage the board whenever possible to maybe overstop a tiny bit and let's not do split positions wherever possible because I I feel like it's not great also I've noticed it tends to be a newer person to the district or a new new person in general to the position and that doesn't really set that person up for Success when they're splitting their time and energy like that um another thing that we've kind of had a lot to deal with this year and you heard a little bit about uh last month is issues with maternity leave and then lactation accommodations have been kind of a recurring theme where I've had to deal with multiple situations this year and so I just
want to encourage the board to make sure that we have a very good policy and that people are provided information that's really good up front because with maturity leave and the way the leave laws work and the overlapping contract and laws from California and National and stuff like that can be very confusing for a person and a very stressful time in their life when they're trying to have a baby and we want to make sure that they're kind of given all that information up front and we have a very clear process to support those employees another thing that I want you to kind of be aware of is summer school is you know at least for the High School portion of it only going to be 14 days this year that's really tight and I
would incur you know it's a little bit late to change that for this year but I would encourage the board to make sure that that's I think spread out enough so we make sure that the Integrity of those educational programs so students are able to make up those credits is real and not just like kind of forced down their throat in a very short amount of time um turning our attention real quick to negotiations we really appreciate of course and people are very thrilled um with the raise we got this here I do feel though we've kind of been stalled on sort of even though we've had a long time to make progress on sort of anything else we haven't really been able to get there one of the things I've talked to you about
before is Elementary preparation time it seems to me that the district's position is that elementary teachers get enough prep time I don't feel that's correct I really do think that the educational programs that we do would be strongly supported by elementary teachers having a little bit extra time in their work day every day I think it's a well-known you know Open Secret that teachers take work home constantly and this would you know not eliminate that problem but I think it would help out and I think it would increase the amount of the quality the quality of the lessons that you're giving students when they're able to do prep time I also think that the solution we propose to this to have some sort of enrichment teacher that could do art music stem is a great
benefit for students as well and could be a really highlight of their week to have a really creative program like that I understand that there's some concern about the money with prop 28 and stuff like that where is that going to come from so we've dramatically scaled back what we were asking for and we would like to try it pilot this program at one school with one position and we're being told no currently we really like to do that I don't think it's necessary for it to be contingent on any funding coming through we're talking about one position districts adding many many positions this year I think adding one more to try out this program give us some data see how it works see if it's being effective could be a real benefit and we
really like to do that for next year so I really appreciate any help to get that through and then the last couple things the last cut thing I want to address is per TK a grade level chair stipend our contract doesn't mention TK a lot because it's new and we haven't had time to kind of go through and put the word t in front of the K in all the parts of our contract the district currently is not going to pay anybody who has been serving as a TK grade level chair even though the Department's small they go to the leadership meetings they do the work they're forming you know it's a new program we want these people involved in those things they're not going to do anything we would like to have an agreement
with the district that they do pay those few very you know it's not a lot of people that are doing this the TK grade level chair I don't think it's fair just because our contract happens not yet to say TK that it doesn't apply I don't I think it would be a ridiculous proposition to say oh the contract doesn't say TK and other sections so that doesn't apply to the TK teachers of course it does right all the other sections apply so really appreciate the board's help in helping us out to kind of push through those last couple of agreements for this year so thank you for your time appreciate it Chase 14.3 receiver report from the Beaumont administrator's confidential management employees group board member comments Miss Williamson thank you so I had the opportunity
I wanted to say thank you again to Maize and Dr Brown over on my spring break I requested to visit some of the Beaumont sites and I I just I I had a wonderful time we went to Beaumont High School I got to see the facility projects firsthand and it's beautiful I'm so glad to hear that the the space is occupied now um Mr Shear was very hospitable the pathways are are really great to see firsthand in person um and so that was wonderful and at Starlight you know what really stood out at Starlight a lot did but the the in what third grade and above maybe the the students we would walk into a class and a student would walk right up to us Shake our hand how can I help you eye contact
I mean the the great the great Shake I haven't been able to participate in that but that was impressive very very the level of conversation that the students are able to hold that make sense that's engaging that's inquisitive is just beyond impressive we spent some time in the special education classes while the students were doing a parade around the school in South operation of their I ready score improvements I mean it just was a wonderful day Miss Casillas was very um very nice to to spend time with us um San Gorgonio middle school Mr Horton you know we I love sped and that's one of my my um something that I'm passionate about and so we went into into sped classes at all of the schools um but that was a real highlight at San
Gorgonio um with watching you do push-ups with this with one of the students or not push-up sit-ups I was impressed and I I tell you that really speaks to the heart of of you Mr Horton and I think that the heart of a principal can really greatly affect the school and that's obvious at San Gorgonio and so I appreciate that and then at Summerwind I mean the facility is just beautiful the welcoming the we were welcomed Susie and I were welcomed um and given some of the statistics of the school which I found was very interesting and new for me the staff were engaging you know we got to watch lessons happen and um all of this just really reaffirms for me um the the heart of Beaumont and I've enjoyed my time being able
to be part of this firsthand but it just really grew in my heart a deeper passion for what we do here and I'm very pleased to be a part of that also last week the active shooter Workshop was was really good it wasn't very well attended by parents but I know that that's not something that we always have control over um but Dr Burnett and Miss Young really did a great job at that along with our SRO that presented and and the parents that came were very engaged and really had some good questions and and I think found the information very useful and then lastly welcoming and congratulations to Dr signs for your move over to Summerwind I I think you're going to be a great fit there so thank you good evening uh I
know um with our approval tonight of the calendar change or per collaboration at Beaumont High School I know Mr shares assured us that that information will get out right away but now that we've approved it I think as soon as possible for our families and our parents to know about that change um on for Thursday's sooner the better uh also for Beaumont High School even though winter sports season is has been over for a while uh there's been a lot of recent uh great announcements coming out including that Peyton Joseph and Grace Lee were named the citrus belt League MVPs for boys and girls basketball respectively so congratulations to those two students and really a great honor for our coach our basketball coach up there Mr John Lawrence I'm sorry John Florence uh our head
basketball coach he was named by the Press Enterprise as a coach of the year and they've had the best season in three decades so that's a a great accomplishment for not only coach flow but all of the support that he has for the basketball program unlike Mrs kakish I am not an ABBA fan um but we are looking forward to attending Mamma Mia on Thursday nights and we hope everyone else can come out and join us uh join in seeing that production because Beaumont High School students do an awesome job with all of those Productions thank you thank you Mr Mitchell next report Miss Laura I would just like to say I'm looking forward to seeing the play tomorrow and um you know the calendar is going to get super busy now so just everybody
especially two new people you need to understand it's busy season you're going to be running everywhere super fun the best time of the year so anyways I'm looking forward to all of that and I would I I just requested Carol if you could find out for me when the volunteer teas will be at the elementary levels so um because you can probably find out faster than I can so I might drop in on some of those if that's okay with the rest of the Lord so I was also at the high school visit with Miss Williamson and it was an amazing day um the uh we went and saw the amazing new buildings the the new administration building and the new sort of entrance Pavilion at the top of the high school was really really
really well done so excellent job to the facilities team and to uh all of the staff involved in making that happen the uh I'll also be attending Mamma Mia this week and uh I'm excited to see another amazing production by the high school they've done some really really awesome shows over the past few years the one thing I did want to mention about the high school the and I got a an email about this from a from a parent the traffic in the turnarounds so or I will turn around some traffic the the pick up and drop off areas at both the top and the bottom of the high school apparently have a lot of people turning around in the middle of the lane and cutting off all of the lanes to do that I
don't know if there's anything we can do with cones or something like that to you look like you know exactly what I'm talking about yeah everywhere so it's that famous U-turn right in front of somebody well but there's like 400 people there and you're like I'm just gonna turn right here so I'm just concerned about the kids um eventually somebody's it's it's just gonna go horribly wrong so um but the rest of the stuff at the high school was amazing and um I want to say thank you thank you to May's and to the high school leadership team for welcoming us and hosting us for our for our visit thank you Mr Brown I'll wrap up with a couple of comments I want to uh thank Mr Griffith who has a YouTube video out there
and he might want to come up to the podium about Quest and I am very impressed there was a it was a nice video that caught my attention I'm glad are you I'm glad you enjoyed it it was a video to our parents about summer programs and what we're offering at our Elementary Middle School level and thank you guys for approving that curriculum that we did a few months ago but it's an exciting enrichment opportunity for all of our students and so enrollment opened up for priority students yesterday and we're excited so we have teacher interviews coming up soon for that and I'm just excited for a new opportunity for our students and really kind of changing what we do and what we offer to students for the summer and again it looked like it
was a two-week program three weeks three okay okay um the beginning of uh end of June into July June 12th to June 30th okay yeah thank you yeah absolutely thank you Mr Griffith good work there next I want to thank the middle schools for continuing to push our kids off-site for learning experiences the the Astro Camp had to be postponed but it still carried on um Catalina trip is still going is still going forward or went um these are things that our middle schools grow our students grow as individuals exponentially when we get them out of the site and and applying there's the skills and getting their hands dirty so and again get and also getting our kids away from their own parents that that's always a bonus but if the kids need to grow
up to have some personal responsibility and getting them out out and about is an excellent way to uh to Foster that and again I've I've watched past principles if Middle School like Vick Keyser all the way back then still pushing programs to get the kids off the side of the middle school and I'm glad to see that tradition is still is still moving forward with that the business of the board is now concluded we are now adjourned at 7 10. foreign
