speaks completely extemporaneous. >> Speak up. He can't hear you. Can >> hear please. Yeah. >> Um I I just appreciate being able to come up here and on this agenda item which I'm trying to address in a roundabout way. I would say that um this this whole uh meeting this part of the meeting is a is a good um example of what democracy should be and what it might not be. Um, time will tell. Um, what what what this is about is a uh is a complicated matter that citizens really can't comprehend in my opinion. Uh they we we don't have the uh information to understand what's going on here uh that you guys probably have. I don't know. I just feel that um I want to do the best as my as I can

as a citizen to see how this board performs for the students and I'm not sure that my questions about my ability to do that can be um uh answered. I'll have to go home and sleep about it, send letters and and write about it and ask about it. Uh but uh um I guess that's that's my point from I and I want you to see the perspective of someone who doesn't have the uh observational abilities that you guys have. I'm I'm speaking as a citizen here. Thank you. I just have one word of advice. If you think what you did to me can't happen to you, [clears throat] think again. It's open season. >> The threat >> interesting. >> Let the minutes reflect that Dr. Fe has left the meeting written. Any [snorts] other public

comment? >> I do want to ask do maybe I should have asked her. Was that a threat? >> It's recorded. >> Okay. >> Um >> is this recorded? >> Resumption of Tuesday, Octo Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 meeting. The board has asked >> Wait, approve. >> Okay. >> Same motion. >> Sorry. The board has asked to approve the removal of Dr. Katherine Fe from the WIU board in accordance with the board's statement of charges. >> So do >> I thought we did that, >> but we added it to the agenda. >> Added it to Okay. [clears throat] >> Yep. So now it's on the agenda. So now we vote to actually >> um remove >> Okay. Okay. >> So I need a second. >> Second >> discussion. Roll call, please. >> Mr. Yutsy. >> Yes. >>

Dr. Fe left. >> Mr. Front. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Guyire? >> Yes. >> Mr. Graia? >> Absolutely. >> Mrs. Oier? >> Yes. >> Mr. Olsen? >> No. >> Mr. Shipley? >> Yes. >> Mr. >> How many times do we vote on this? >> Other one was to put it on. >> This is the first time we're voting on it. >> Others was to put on the agenda. No. >> Motion passes 6 to2. >> Okay. >> Uh, citizens comment. >> Jan Kefir, East Sanctton Township. Do you really think anyone was surprised that uh the vote would be my first comment? And the second comment is um the the Halloween parade is coming up and your organization's going to be throwing lots of uh penny candy out on the streets for the kids to pick up, take

home, and eat. I'm going to be gathering up candy from your organizations. I'm going to bring a big bag for every one of you and I'm going to go to Amazon and I'm going to order some one to about nine orders for you and I want to see you eat that candy because you see we're at the we're at our own goal line here. If you can come bring yourself to to rise your awareness level to maybe not giving candy to kids, then we're at the one yard line. And once you take that first step, you might put the field behind you. We get to the 10 yard line, we might look at the emotional problems that this practice, this culture, this fund that you name have. We get to the 30 yard line, we're

going to see how it t turns into obesity and diabetes and heart disease and cancer. We get to the 50 yard line, the the parents and the teachers are going to come behind us and someone's going to say, "Has this been done before?" Get turning the corner and and the health of a of a community through the schools and I'll bring on plenty of data and evidence for that. Then when we get to the 70 80 yard line away or closing in on the goal line, we're going to have you guys in the rearview mirror and we're going to say, "Why the hell did you sit here for this many generations and watch the health and the well-being and the mental uh capacities of our children and we get to the 99 yard line away,

we're going to look at your position on vaccinations, and we're going to have the sign so far behind us by that time that you're just going to have to say, gee, why did I ever become a school board director. >> Any other public comments? >> All right. I need a motion to adjurnn. >> Make a motion to adjurnn. >> Second. >> All those in fa >> I >> Sorry. Does anybody want to know why? I don't know.
