just over $286,000. That'll come from the capital reserve. Uh the district's going to contribute 75% from the facility grant on that. Okay. Now, we'll go to Mrs. Hobbs for a budget and audit presentation. >> Thank you, Mr. Wmer. So, I'm glad Mr. Alden shared some pushy kisses with you because you might need just that sugar high to get through. But my presentation won't be as long as Mr. Alden. She said less than 60 seconds. [laughter] >> I can't make it that quick. >> Not that good. >> Um, however, tonight I just want to share some of the preliminary budget and I see I have a typo here. Should be fiscal year 25. Um, and just a fund balance discussion. So, a lot of these conversations you've heard me over the last several months just how

we've developed the budget from fiscal year 25 that we process. We started this process in the previous October 23. Um you as the board passed the budget in June 18th of 24 using some of the fund balance because we did not use a tax increase because we had a deficit of meaning a variance to cover. And once again the state approved the budget last year July 11th. So it was only 11 days overdue. We're now at 120 for this year's current budget. So, this is just a recap of sharing some of the information of where our actuals were. And I'm hoping a lot of this information is not a surprise to you because we've covered this when we were developing the budget for fiscal year 26. Um, where we thought we were coming in with

revenues, meaning local, state, and federal side where we had a really strong, you know, on the local side, we had our investment earnings earning a lot of at that 4% over time. You can see our state obviously was up. That was because the state budget was passed after we already passed our budget and we received like that additional money in the ready to learn areas like that that we covered. Um and then federal resources as well. So you can see what we originally budgeted 25 um for revenues a little bit over 34 million. Our actual wiz a little bit over 37 million. Um, so as we look through, and I'm not going to go slide by slide. This will just show you and tie out to what I was presenting over the previous six months

as we were developing the budget where we landed in all those accounts. And you know, earned income, like I said, once again, that was up. Our investments were up. You can see all that detail through the next couple slides on the revenue. So, I'm not going to once again, if you have specific questions, give me a call and I can walk you through that or answer those questions for [clears throat] you. Um, on the state side, once again, as I mentioned, the state budget was passed July 11th of 24. We ended up with having that additional state money that we didn't know about. Um, and some of those with the state funding, we had to spend it by June 30th. And so you're going to see when we get to the expenses that our expenses

were actually higher than what we anticipated or budgeted, but it tied into the revenues that we received as well. So once again, those revenues that we received from the state had to be spent by June 30th of 2025. So once again, we couldn't really carry those over and we had to do reports to tie all that information out. Once again, not going slide by slide. Um, and we even talked as we were developing the 26 budget, we don't know if we're going to get any additional state money coming in. You know, this additional money that we did receive in the ready to learn, this 841,000 that have shown here on the screen. Are we anticipating that for the fiscal year 26 coming up? We don't know. And that was not factored into the budget when

we developed the fiscal year 26 budget. Once again, if anyone has a crystal ball about what's included, please let me know. And then on the federal side, you can see u the title information, the ESRE money, which we had a little bit that we spent at the beginning of the fiscal year to close everything out. And then you're going to see the last item on that line was an internal transfer that was between like capital reserve and everything when we had to tie out our end ofear expenditures. So looking at the expenses once again we came in at 36,800 um that was higher than like I said that we budgeted. Once again you can see those areas that we came under budget or that we were over budget once again mainly in the 500s because

that is where our charter school expenses were. As far as I mentioned that as we were building the budget, I was giving those updates um you know our charter expenses were definitely more than what we anticipated and once again the chart of accounts that we use for PTE they sometimes change how we need to classify things. So even though we might have budgeted one area we had to code it to a different area. So all in all, the information that you really want to know tonight is in the end based upon the revenues that we received and the expenditures that we paid out, we actually added to the fund balance $282,000. When we prepared the budget, we were thinking that we were going to have a deficit of over $2.2 million. Once again, that's all

due to the additional local money coming in very strong in those areas that we highlighted. So, with that information, if we add that um excess money, that 282,000 that I just mentioned into our unassigned fund balance, and you're going to see with our fund balance, we said that we were also we had that Cumberland Perry renovation and we used the assigned money for that. So, on the screen, you're going to see that's coming out because that's what we did for fiscal year 25. And then we also on the other side we had capital reserve which is a separate bucket of money that we talk about. So right now we have in our unassigned about 4.2 million that we need to move and I'm recommending that we move about 15 I mean 1,500 into an assigned

account between technology and capital reserve. You're going to see the next item on the agenda. I actually had I gave um a wrong number to when we typed it up. So should be 500,000 into the assigned technology and 1 million in for the capital projects. That's the recommendation. Um but so we can be underneath that 8% of what we need to be in our unassigned. By moving those funds, we end up about 7.3% in our unassigned compared to our expenditures for fiscal year 26. Um, so once again, we are planning for the future by putting this money aside. Um, because in February is when we're probably going to come back to the board asking for capital reserves for next year as as far as the projects, maintaining our buildings because um, as Mr. are all

been mentioned during his presentation. Our enrollment is steady. No need to really build buildings etc. So we need to make sure that we are maintaining those. Any questions on any of the audit information? >> So I wasn't 60 seconds. [laughter] >> You were shorter than Joe. [laughter] All right, >> there's no questions. [laughter] I will >> see here. >> She didn't have her kisses. [laughter] >> Thank you, Mrs. Hobbs. We'll move on to Mr. Leustig with some personnel updates. >> Yes. Thank you, Mr. Walmer. As we turn our attention to personnel, you can follow along on your computer screen.
