Good evening. We'd like to welcome everyone to the Canon County Board of Education March 12th board meeting. First tonight is public comment. No one signed up for that tonight. Second, third, and fourth will be our good citizenship award, the pledge of allegiance, a moment of silence, and the Canon County School employee spotlight. Good evening and welcome as we honor our good citizenship award winners for this month. We have um in third grade we have Matthew Parker and Miss Hackne says that we are proud to recognize Matthew Parker as our March student citizen of the month. Over the past several months, Matthew has shown tremendous growth in his academics and overall maturity. His hard work and determination are evident and we are so proud of the progress that he continues to make. Matthew is a fun,
polite, and kind student who brings joy to those around him. He loves interacting with others and has a wonderful sense of humor that brightens our school day. We celebrate Matthew for his positive attitude, growth, and the example he sets for his peers. CCES is proud to recognize him as this month's student of the month. Next we have Canon North and their student of the month is Bri Bryley Herob. She has shown dedicated efforts and worked hard in RTI. She moved up almost 100 points on her most recent progress monitoring and she is sticking with it even even when the tough gets going and is trying very hard. Congratulations Canon South is Kelby Phillips. Kelby is a such a positive role model. He is a hard worker, a natural leader, and someone who always does the
right thing. His positive influence has helped support and encourage others in the classroom. And lastly this evening is Aubrey here. Aubrey has been so dedicated to improving her grades and truly learning the material. Even though this has been hard material to learn, she's been an excellent active participant in class, setting an example of what it means to strive to be excellent. All of her efforts are showing the true meaning of what being a lion where growth is the standard and excellence is the outcome. Congrat To the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Please stand for moment. >> Thank you. Our employee spotlights. if we could have Miss Michelle Smithson, Miss Lakesha Bryson, and Miss

And Miss Hackne says that we're proud to recognize Miss Michelle Smithson for outstanding dedication to Canon County Elementary. She is an organized and effective first grade teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students and colleagues. In addition to her classroom responsibilities, Miss Michelle SP spends countless hours coordinating our school yearbook and working closely with photographers to ensure picture days run smoothly. She is dependable, detail- oriented, and always willing to help wherever needed. Miss Michelle continually seeks ways to improve her teaching practices and serves as a supportive mentor to others. CCES
is stronger because of her commitment and leadership. from Canon South is Miss Tracy Hail. And Miss Tracy is truly a wonderful educator whose passion for teaching shines through in everything she does. She has a special gift for bringing learning to life by engaging students in hands-on science activities that spark curiosity, excitement, and deeper understanding. Miss Tracy creates meaningful experiences that inspire students to explore and think critically. In addition to her work during the school day, she leads our afterchool program with the same level of dedication and care. Her commitment to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom does not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful and for the positive impact she makes in the lives of our students every day. And from Canon North, the staff members of the month are the intervention team
of Miss Lakesha Bryceman and Mrs. Amy Davis. They are both new to this position and they have worked hard to become a cohesive team that works diligently to ensure the needs of each child in RTI are met. We have seen such growth in the students who have been to the intervention classroom and we're so proud of these two ladies for their dedication to making a positive impact. And from the middle school is nurse Aaron Bush and she is at the Beta Leadership Convention. And Mr. Brian has to say that nurse Aaron has been a steady, caring presence at CCMS over the past few weeks as sickness has moved through the building. She demonstrates the best bedside manner and consistently helps students feel safe, respected, and supported. She is always willing to jump in whenever needed.
