001good morning we're convening the committee on transportation on our 9 30 am agenda here in senate conference room 225 as well as online we have three resolutions up this morning beginning with hcr 29 encouraging the department of transportation to work with stakeholders to develop a holistic management plan that will ensure hana highway is properly maintained and safe for residents and visitors and testifying first this morning on hcr 29 is the department of transportation you with us this morning oh good morning mr mccain chair lead vice chair annoying and honorable members of the senate committee on transportation the department of transportation supports the intent of the measure in the interest of time would like to stand on our written testimony thank you sir thank you very much uh we also have comments from the white public
002utilities commission support from hana health support from american medical response and one individual i believe that's all the testimony we have on hcr 29 this morning are there any questions all right if not thank you let's move on to the next measure hcr 156 requesting the department of transportation to take all necessary steps to expedite work on the bipolar oa bridge in maili oahu and improve traffic signal support on the waianae coast and urging various entities to work together to immediately open a section of the waianae coast emergency access road system extending paakea road to lualualei naval road for public use on a permanent basis and testifying first on 156 is the department of transportation cheerleading vice chairman and honorable members of the city senate committee on transportation the department of transportation supports the intent
