appreciate you all being here today uh as we dive into uh accurate accountability uh leveraging the PEM student demographic listing and tide. Uh my name is Katie Jubert. I am the uh principal director of policy and communications for the performance reporting division at TEA. Um I'm also joined today um and will be co-leading this session with Dr. Karen Matton who is our principal director of test administration in the um assessment division. Uh and then we're also uh joined by um our peeps queen Jamie uh Mualtto who uh is also here on deck to answer any questions. Um a couple of notes just about our webinar today. Um so uh with the Q&A feature is open. Um we also will be sharing uh the deck in just a moment here if it hasn't already been uh
done. So you are welcome to follow along uh throughout our webinar today. Uh and then again uh that Q&A is open. So feel free to drop questions in the chat. We have a number of staff members um uh assessment and PMS and performance reporting as well as a few of our um close teammates uh from over at Cambium uh for any uh really specific tide uh technical questions. Um also here to answer your questions and support as well. Uh and we will uh also be recording this session. It'll be posted as soon as possible on performance reporting resources. Uh so want to make sure that uh uh you know there will be access to that as well. So, this session really came out of uh back in the fall or I guess January, right before
the fall ps uh resubmission, Jamie and I co-f facilitated a session on um PES and accountability sources uh and and we put a quick mention of Tide in there and got a lot of questions and it became very evident um that a whole separate session on Tide uh was also needed. So here it is um uh just in time uh to ensure that everything is ready to go for um that May 1st uh deadline which Karen will talk a little bit about. So our goals for today uh is that we want to make sure that you know the critical uh data that comes from various data sources uh and where each is used in accountability ratings. Um, we want to make sure that you're familiar with a brand new PEM student demographic listing that was
just released a few weeks ago um and how we envision that tool can be used um uh uh in order to update Tide and just ensure again that your accountability rating is really accurate. Um we also will be sharing um some other learning opportunities um uh with TEA for PES uh and accountability and assessment um and then also know who you can contact if more help is needed. So again, that Q&A is open. We're so excited uh to be able to dive into this today. Uh and keep the questions coming. We want to make sure you leave getting exactly what it is you need. So here's our agenda for today. We will kick off um uh just with a really highle accountability overview and data sources. Uh we'll jump in a little bit into fall
snapshot data and the accountability subset. Uh from there, I will pass it over to Karen um uh to discuss ensuring data accuracy within Tide. um we will speak very briefly about ensuring data accuracy for CCMR and then jump into some future learning opportunities and next steps. So um accountability um overview and data sources. So of course within our accountability the A throughF system we have three domains. So domain one is the student achievement domain and within domain one we really measure uh the extent to which students are um uh mastering grade level material. uh and then um the percent of students who um uh are uh college career military ready and then graduation rate as well. So we're really testing outcomes uh within the student achievement domain. Within domain 2, we're looking at school progress.
Uh so both individual student growth and then relative performance. Uh so achievement as compared to other campuses with a similar distribution of economically disadvantaged students. And then in the domain three or the closing the gaps domain, we are looking at both growth and achievement. Um for specialized subgroups of students. Uh so here's another view of what that looks like. Uh so domain one again is student achievement. We're looking at star achievement, CCMR, and the state graduation rate. In domain two, the school progress rate. In domain 2A, we're looking at star growth. So that again, that individual student growth. And then in domain 2B, star relative performance. In domain three, uh we look at a wide range of different things. Again, growth and achievement for specialized subgroups of students. Um so star achievement, star growth, the
federal graduation rate, student success, school quality, and then progress in English language proficiency. In domains one and two, we are examining all students. So all students um that are a part of the accountability subset which we'll talk about in just a little bit. Uh and then in domain three we also look at all students but then we also have uh three additional specialized subgroups of students. Um and those include uh the two lowest performing racial or ethnic groups from the previous year based on your campus's data. Uh and then we also look at the high focus group which includes any students who are economically disadvantaged, special education, emergent bilingual or students who are highly mobile. So again in domains one and two we're looking at all students uh who are a part of the accountability
subset and then in domain three um all students still matter of course uh and then we look at those um three additional student groups as well. within the accountability framework uh we pull data from both PSEs and tide and both of those are leveraged in the accountability system. So um some examples of student um I'm sorry some examples of uh data that is pulled from the TSDSP system um is really student uh demographic information and that's going to inform the campus level information reported on texaschools.gov. So any of that schoolwide information on your landing page where it'll say student uh information uh that is uh going to be as reported in PS. We also use PES uh to determine the um campus level information for economic disadvantaged uh and that's what's used in the relative
performance data. So again in domain 2B, we look at your campus's achievement as it compares relative to other campuses with a similar economically disadvantaged percentage. Uh and that information is um informed from uh PES, specifically the fall admission. Um the last big thing that we look at from PES is student level information for CCMR. Um and also graduation rate in domain three. uh so CCMR data is going to come uh is is informed from PES. So that is one data source uh that is uh leveraged a lot within the accountability system is PES. Um uh hopefully you were able to attend our um fall PE submission webinar. We'll be having one for uh both the summer and extended year submissions which uh we'll be sure to share some more information on later today. Um but
accurate PS information uh is is critical for accurate accountability ratings. On the other side uh we also pull student demographic information from tide. Uh and so TIDE is going to inform any student level information for star or EOC results in domain 3 and then any student level information for Telpass results um in domain three as well. So, a lot of domain 3 is going to be pulled directly from Tide with the except exception of CCMR. So, um we are uh trying to get a little bit fancy. I hope this works. And I'm going to launch a poll. Um and we're going to do a quick check for understanding. Uh so here you have um a a depiction from domain 2B. uh is the economically disadvantaged percentage used in relative performance calculations in school progress domain
part B from PS or from TIDE. Oh man. Oh man, we got a lot of people answering this poll. It looks like it worked, which I'm very excited about. All right. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and end this poll. Uh and if you selected PES, uh that is the correct answer. Uh so this information uh is okay I'm going to stop sharing the results. I hope it works on the next one. Okay. Uh yes. So this information uh is schoolwide information. Uh and so uh again individual student information related to star um or EOCC's or Telpass is going to come from TIDE but this is schoolwide information. Uh so this economically disadvantaged percentage used in domain 2B is coming from PS. All right. Um the next kind of check for understanding is coming right
up I hope. Um are the two lowest performing racial or ethnic groups for school quality from Tide or PE? So this is domain three. Um, are the two lowest performing racial or ethnic groups for school quality from Tide or from PES? All right. Okay. I'm going to go ahead in this poll. Uh, this one looks like uh it got a little bit tricky and that's okay. So, this information is also actually pulled from PES. So school quality measures CCMR or college career military readiness and the PE's data is going to inform the demog demographic data used for CCMR. So a lot of domain 3 is going to be pulled from tide. Um but in this specific instance school quality measures CCMR uh and that is going to come from PS. All right. Next quick check
for understanding. Going to go ahead and launch this one. Okay. Uh, is the student information reported on texaschools.gov from PES or from Tide. All right. All right. All right. I'm going to go ahead and end this poll. Uh so this also is going to be pulled from PES. So this is u schoolwide information um of uh and uh that information is going to be pulled from your PES fall submission largely. So at this school uh this is the demographic data they reported for student information. Uh and that is going to be pulled from PES. And our last test yourself I'll go ahead and launch. I'm like very impressed that this all worked. Are the two lowest performing racial or ethnic groups uh for academic achievement within closing a gaps domain pulled from Tide or PES.
All right, it looks like most have been able to get their answers in. All right. Uh so this uh is from Tide. Individual student data reported for for STAR or TEP pass is from Tide. Uh so academic achievement within domain three of courses measuring the percent of students at meets or above. Uh so this specific information is going to be pulled from Tide. Uh so as you can see uh there's a lot of information coming from both PS and from Tide. Uh and we're excited uh today to make sure that that information specifically that's coming from Tide is going to be the focus of our time together today uh is accurate uh accurately reflects your student demographic um and so you are able to get um accurate accountability ratings. We do also want to quickly
note um that there are other data sources um that are used within accountability ratings particularly for CCMR. Um so on-ramps for example uh is reported uh directly um from on-ramps AP we get from the college board uh so on and so forth. Um so while pe and tide are two big sources of accountability data um they are not the only ones uh and so the academic accountability data sources guide um uh which hopefully someone can drop in the chat um includes information on both PS and non-PEs data that is used in CCMR calculations. Um so again not the focus of our time together today. Um but we would be remiss not to mention um uh that other data sources uh also matter as well. So let's go in uh go ahead and dig in into
specifically that fall snapshot data uh and how uh that informs the accountability subset which is such an important thing to pay attention to um when we're talking about accountability ratings. Um, so the accountability subset for performance calculations only includes those students that were enrolled at your campus for the fall team submission. Uh, the one exception to this is that for your students who took the EOCC's last June. Uh, and in that case, we're going to look specifically at the October 2024 snapshot. So, we go one year back given that that was part of the 2425 school year. Um so for performance calculations only those students that were on your fall snapshot could be included in your accountability subset. Uh and so this is what really informed um uh um the need for this new PE
student demographic listing. Um and that is going to include all of your students on um uh that were reported as as part of your campus community um during the October uh fall I'm sorry the fall team submission. Uh and so we wanted to make sure that you had access to here is the data that we have so you're able to uh use that data to inform um Tide as you are able to make those adjustments in Tide which Karen will speak through. Um so if you haven't had an opportunity yet uh to access your um uh team student demographic listing um you are going to need Teal accountability access to do that. Uh once you log on to Teal uh the first step is you're going to select across the top performance reporting. That'll give
you a screen that looks a lot like this. Uh the next thing you're going to do is select 2026 accountability. So this is a 2026 specific listing. So uh once you're in performance reporting, go to uh select 2026 accountability. Uh the last thing you're going to do is select the 2026 PM student demographic listing. uh that is going to automatically download um uh when once you select download file it's going to um uh automatically download as a CSV file. Uh the reason for that is uh it it's just much faster more condensed file. Um however uh uh not the easiest format to use. Uh so once you download it, you can definitely save that as an Excel uh which gives you u much more of an ability to kind of uh manipulate it, create filters,
uh use that pam student demographic listing as you need. So your downloaded pam student demographic listing is going to look a lot like this. Um uh these are totally fictitious names, student ID numbers, and birth dates. So uh it won't look exactly like this. Uh but the download itself, um will look very familiar. uh and that is going to include uh the information we have on your students as it was reported in the PES fall submission. Uh so if you kind of go across the columns again it'll have all of your students that were reported as enrolled only those students could be included in the accountability subset. Uh but of course if they've since um you know moved out of state or moved to a different district that would uh they their results of course
would not be reflected as part of your accountability calculations for each of those students. Um you will be able to see uh their reported race and ethnicity um uh very clearly if this student yes or no is part of the high focus group. And then we'll also include additional information um that informs the high focus group. So is the student um enrolled in special education? Are they an emergent bilingual? Are they homeless? We drill that down even further. Um I'm sorry, are they highly mobile? We drill that down further. If they're homeless, foster or migrant. And then um also if they're economically disadvantaged. So you're able to see highly um I'm sorry, high focus, yes or no. And then you'll be able to see um uh which qualifiers they met in order to be included
in that high focus group. Um the student uh information is also included if the student is military affiliated, if the student is gifted, the student's sex uh and then if the student is in membership, continuously enrolled and their attribution code. Uh so lots of information on each of your students. Um and then we also just wanted to name um that linked in teal and we'll also drop that in the chat. It's also linked in uh the version of the PowerPoint that you have as well. um that 2026 student demographic uh listing explanation is going to go through column by column uh to tell you exactly um what that column is describing. So if you have questions of like what qualifies a student as highly mobile um specifically what data we're pulling uh is available on
that listing. So student information from the fall PE submission is used to update Tide. So you all submitted that um I believe the resubmission date was January 15th. Um uh not January well I think it was January 15th. I apologize for that. Uh so LEA submitted that information in the fall team submission that then was used to update any missing student information in Tide. So, for example, um if if you were using interims and uh you just had student names but didn't update um birthdays or race or ethnicity, um all of that information um that was submitted in the fall pay submission then filters into Tide and that process was all complete on March 9th. So, your job now is to ensure uh uh data accuracy. Um, and so certainly student information can change. If
a student um was served by special education and now they're not, you would want to ensure that that information is uh updated and tied. And all of that needs to be uh completed by May 1st. Um, so certainly information may need updating. You're encouraged to build in time for teams to ensure what is in tied is both correct and final. Uh, and again that all needs to be completed by May 1st. So, here is what we would recommend as a next step. And Karen's going to talk specifically about how you would go about this. Um, so a couple things uh that we want to make sure is really consistent. Um, you want to make sure that for every single student, the first name, last name, date of birth, and TSDS ID are correct and consistent
for every single student. um if one of those things is off um uh it's possible that uh that student would not be included in your accountability ratings and we certainly don't want that. Um and so with your PE's demographic student listing up and tied up, we encourage you to go through every single student and make sure that again first name, last name, date of birth, and TSDS ID are uh correct and consistent. You're also going to want to check um are there any students who have enrolled since snapshot and are they accurately reflected in TIDE? Um uh so those students would not be included as part of your accountability subset. Um but we do want to make sure their information is in tied uh is correct and is in in tied so those students can
be assessed appropriately. Uh and then certainly if any students demographic information has changed. Uh so it's possible uh that the student in um uh was not experiencing homelessness and now they are. You would want to make sure that that information anything that has changed since the fall submission um is accurate and updated in Tide. Uh so that's how we envision um that is a little bit about what the PEM student demographic listing is, how we imagine you can sit down together as a team, make sure you've got your PEM student demographic open, make sure you've got Tide open, uh and really use those two tools together to make sure that your accountability ratings are accurate uh because your students are accurately represented. So I'm going to pass it over to Karen. Um, uh, I am
not an expert in Tide. Uh, so I'm gonna pass it over to Karen to talk a little bit more about how you actually go through and ensure, uh, accuracy within Tide. >> Awesome. Thank you, Katie. So, as um, Katie had mentioned a couple of different times, like after you have your demographic listing, then how do you make sure that everything is accurate in Tide? Um, so if we'll kind of go through the next screen. So in TAIDE, the district testing coordinator for every single district has access to TIDE. Um they may have also given additional roles to other staff members um in the district. Maybe there's a district testing assistant who is also assisting them with um uploading data and making sure that the information is accurate. So once they are in Tide um is
what Tide is. We talk about Tide. I kind of think it's not the laundry soap. Um it is the test information distribution engine um that we use with our partners at Cambium that this system is used to manage user and student information. Um so once the district testing coordinator is logged in to Tide, this is a screenshot of what it looks like. So, it's kind of like three different buckets like preparing for testing, what all I need to do before testing, administering tests, what does it look like during testing, and then anything that needs to kind of happen after testing is in the column on the far right. Now, for making updates to student information, like Katie was talking about, is where you're going to go where the DTC um district testing coordinator would go
for the preparing for testing. And there's a couple different ways that this can be done. Um you c they can click on the manage and actually when they click up on the manage or then do an upload of student information. But let's just say that they wanted to look for a particular student individually, they would search, put in that search box the tsds number and then is what is going to come up is pull up this student. So I've been able to find a screenshot of a a demo account that we have. Um, so is what would come up, this would look like an individual student's profile. So, as you can kind of see, there's information with first name and last name. So, if there's a name change, like maybe they have officially changed their
last name for a number of different reasons, you would want to make it there. You do want to make sure that their date of birth is accurate. And then, as you can see, there's several different other options when we talk about their demographic. um information. So you have the race and ethnicity that have toggles yes and no. And then underneath the additional student information that you can see on the right, these are all the other ones looking at years in US schools, the emergent bilingual indicator code. Um the raider tpass raider information would only be applicable for those students who would be taking a tail pass. And then there's a several other demographic um information like whether they have a special education indicator code, whether they're 504. And then you can barely see it at
the bottom. I couldn't squeeze it in the the screenshot is the economically disadvantaged. So this is where the district testing want to make sure that they go in and say, "Hey, this is I need to make sure this is updated." Again, they can do this like if there's several students that need to be updated, this is where you could actually upload a data file to update this information instead of manually doing every single student um that way. So, there's kind of two different avenues depending on what really works best um that aligns with internal systems and different people. So kind of going to the next screen. Perfect. So thinking through when are we going to get reports and the the various things that we're going to get. So there is a one pager of what
you're going to get, what you do with it, when you're going to get it, and kind of like who's it for. Um, so this is a great representation and a great print out for administrators or accountability district testing coordinators. This is great to give to principles. Um, that really kind of shows, hey, I'm going to get my assessment results. um what that looks like, what the dates are, when I'm going to get my administration reports for data verification, and then when are we going to get the final administration reports that are used for accountability. So on the next screen, I'm going to talk through kind of the different avenues. So during the point where we the districts receive their administration reports for data verification, that's when the data verification window opens. So this gives districts
kind of like a last opportunity. If you if you missed anything on May 1st, which is the end of the star administration window, there are some things that you can correct and make adjustments to during the data verification window and some things you cannot. So, I'm going to start with the things that you can do. So, in that data verification window, um you can submit scorecode changes. So, for example, a student was originally scored with an S score code but needed to be changed to an O score code for some reason um that the district determined. That can be done during the data verification window. During this window, you can there can also be merge temporary TSDS ID numbers. You can correct student name, student date of birth as well as correct years in US
schools. What I do want to point out is the right hand column of what cannot be done. So this means what cannot be done. All of these things have to be done before the end of the testing window. So for star that is May 1st and then you want to take a look at the end of the tailpass window when we talk about the holistic ratings which is tomorrow is the end of the tailpass administration window. March 27th. So what cannot be done is enter a score code that did not exist before. Let for example we forgot to enter an absent score code for a student. You cannot do it during the data verification window. That can only be done during the test administration window. One of the ones, a couple of the last three
that cannot be done, I do want to really point out, and I know Katie had talked about this quite a bit, is correcting existing demographic information. That has to be done before the end of the testing window. So, for Telpass, you're going to want to make sure that anything is correct by the end of day tomorrow. But for STAR, everything has to be in by May 1st. It cannot be changed after May 1st. Now, in Tide, if you're a district testing coordinator, yes, you can make changes in Tide after May 1st. It's just not going to be reflected or changed in your um administration final files. Okay. Same thing with you cannot be done. So, the inter holistic ratings or change holistic ratings, all of that has to be done by the end of the
day tomorrow. It cannot be changed during the data verification window. So all these corrections, if you can make them, are submitted during this window. And so when those reports are sent out to districts, we definitely communicate like, hey, here is your data verification window. Make sure you have everything complete. We send out reminders what can be done, what cannot be done. Now, any corrections made after that window has closed will not be reflected in final administration reports that are used for accountability. So, it's really important to kind of utilize that data verification as kind of like a last chance to make sure that everything is correct, but we also need the demographic information that Katie's been talking about corrects by the end of May 1. All right. So, we kind of have a couple of
scenarios like what what do I do and how does it kind of like tie together? So, the PEM student demographic listing that Katie mentioned earlier is intended to be a tool for data accuracy and as we're as districts are finalizing student information within Tide. So, our scenario number one, you're using this PM student demographic listing. A school discovers that a student's first name and last name are different in Tide versus this demographic listing. So you get the listing from Katie Jubert. What does Katie Jubert look different in Tide? So then what do I do? So as we move over into Tide is what the district can do is can correct that in Tide so that way it matches and it's going to connect together. Now I also put in a stipulation of when you can
do this. You can do this all the way before the window test window opens. During the window you can do it then and this is one of the instances that you can also make th that adjustment during the data verifi um data verification window. And then on the impact of accountability ratings side is that yes, you do want those things to match. Otherwise, there's a risk that they're not like matching together and kind of like tangle. I call them tangled. They're inter intertwined and not really matching up together. So, this is kind how you want to kind of connect the dots between all the different pieces. So, let's take a look at our next scenario. We have a missing student in Tide. We have the the listing. We have a new student. They're not in
the the demographic listing and they're not in Tide. They are a brand new enrolled student. What do we need to do? Well, if we need to test them, we need to put them in Tide. And so, we do want to make sure that we add them in Tide using all the correct information for the applicable subject areas and their grade level. And that we want to make sure that we do that before we test them. That's the only we're going to have to put them in tide in order to be able to provide them a test. But you can do it during the window also. If if the window opens, you're like, "Oh, I have missed a student." You can add it add them during the window and then assess the student as well. And
then the impact on accountability ratings is that no, the student was not enrolled at the campus during the fall team submission and so their results are therefore not part of the 2026 accountability ratings. All right. So I think the next one is updating information. So a student was exited from special education services on February 5th, but both TIDE and the PM student demographic listing have the student still is a receiving sped services. So th this is where there has been a change since that P student demographic listing and TIDE has not been updated either. So in tide is what we're going to do is correct them and say no they are nonsped since they have exited prior to the testing window and that this is one of those instances that this has to be done
before or during the test administration window and cannot be changed after the wind test window closes on the impact on accountability is that yes so as the student is no longer receiving special education services, they would not be included in that high focus group in domain three as Katie had mentioned earlier. Um, now there is a disclaimer you can kind of see at the bottom and italicize that if the student was also a graduating senior, they would be included for the school quality and grad rate in 27 ratings. And I think we have one more scenario. Scenario number four is correcting errors in TAID. So an LEA uncovers that using by using the PEM student demographic listing and all that all of their economically disadvantaged students are incorrectly coded in PEM snapshot as non-ecodis. So
right now in PES and in Tide it shows a 0% economically disadvantaged where their actual economically disadvantaged percentage is sitting at 78. So what do we do now? This is one of those instances where you are going to want to update the students information that can be corrected and tied that's going to be need to happen before or during the test administration window. Now for this campus this would be remember I talked about there's kind of two different ways you can do this individually or you can do an upload for all the students. This may be one where you would want to upload to in to do that a little bit um timesaver than going through individually. So on the impact on accountabilities, this is kind of like a a a yes no. Um, so
the corrected information will be used to determine individual students who are in the high focus group for star indicators, but the campus's data that was submitted during the fall PE submission will be used in the relative performance calculation. So, it's kind of like a yes no um since one the PE's demographic listing showed one thing and then we tested with something different. Um, so that's kind of like how we're connecting with the PIM student demographic listing and TIDE. If you have any follow-up questions um, regarding that, please feel free to put them in the chat. And you can always reach out to the student assessment help desk if you need some assistance with how do I do things in Tide or who is the best person to go to um, in my district to provide
this support for me. So, I think with that, Katie, am I turning it back over to you? Yes, ma'am. Uh, and thank you, Karen. Uh, and again, hopefully um we are we we really hope that this new team student demographic listing is a helpful tool uh in just ensuring that if any of those types of errors that we just went through exist um uh once that information uh was kind of backfilled into Tide uh that you have the tool you need um uh to efficiently um and and correctly make those changes. Um so of course our focus for today uh was really looking at tide uh which uh is where we pull individual student demographic data um for any um star or tel pass components. Um we also know uh that data accuracy for CCMR
is a big question um and uh and uh and frankly there's a big opportunity so I want to talk through this very very briefly. uh we do have a number of resources available and are happy to answer questions. Um uh but uh again knew there would be questions so wanted to get in front of that a little bit. Um so House Bill 8 um one of the accountability implications coming out of House Bill 8 um is uh that uh there was a requirement that there is an opportunity for LEAs to correct priory year CCMR indicator data. Um uh and so many of you have engaged in this process. um through the CCMR verifier um in the past uh which was an opportunity to correct nonpens data. So for example um uh uh uh uh ensuring
that we had the accurate information from college board for an AP assessment um uh that if it met the criteria would allow that student to be CCMR. Um so similar to how that current year CCMR data has historically been able to uh be corrected using the CCMR verifier, uh there is a new opportunity starting with 2026 accountability data to also correct prior year data um prior year data errors through PES that impact CCMR uh ratings. Um, so again a quick reminder, updates in Tide are critical. Uh, they matter for accountability ratings and we want to ensure that the data in Tide is is accurate. So your accountability ratings are accurate. However, those uh updates that you're uh probably currently thinking through uh in Tide are not used for those CCMR calculations. We also have spent
most of our time today really focused on demographic data. And while CCMR indicators can be updated, the demographic data for CCMR indicates that are being rated on CCMR cannot be updated for CCMR purposes. Um, however, a number of indicators are able to be corrected. Um and so we'll drop in the chat um a guidance document that went out last month um about how uh eleas can submit a working submission uh in order to correct prior year data errors in PS um that are going to impact um uh CCMR accountability ratings for 2026 and beyond. Uh so just a quick headline of that uh you'll be able to correct data errors from the 23 24 25 school years or the fall 2025 um uh submission. Those uh data errors that are corrected will only be used
in 2026 accountability and beyond. Uh so quite possibly uh there was a data error that impacts 2026 accountability. It also could impact 27, 28, 29 and beyond. Um so anything after 2026 um does have this opportunity. Uh we will not um uh uh be uh recalculating any 23 or 24 25 uh ratings. Those are final. Those are out. But anything for 2026 and beyond um can be corrected um as long as it's one of the indicators outlined on that um uh guidance document. Uh so if you are thinking about a working submission uh we encourage you to reach out to your ESC's. they are uh prepped and ready to support eleas in that. We know it is a big process. Um and we also just wanted to highlight that the CCMR tracker uh will be
coming out next Thursday on April 2nd. Um and for the first time um that I'm aware of uh certainly new for 2026. Um uh the CCMR tracker is not only going to include students who are currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12 um but will also include um students who were reported in grade 12 in the 2024 snapshot. So both your graduates and non-graduates as we look at non-graduates in domain three. Uh so the CCMR tracker has been ex expanded pretty significantly. Um and if you uh know that there are errors or think that there might be errors, we encourage you to download that CCMR tracker. make sure the data we have matches up with whatever is in your student information system. Um as we cannot see that we can only see what was submitted
in PS uh and if there are discrepancies encourage you to get working on that working submission um that process uh so uh you'll need to reach out to PS get that um uh submitted and approved and all of that has to be completed by June 26th which is the close of the CCMR verifier window. So all of that needs to be completed by June 26th in order to be uh considered in the accountability calculations for 2026 ratings. Uh so again um uh encourage you to access that guidance document, reach out to us if there are specific questions. Uh and then um stay tuned for your CCMR tracker coming out uh part one coming out next week. Um which again has been expanded to include last year's graduates and non-graduates um which we hope um uh
is just another kind of checkpoint or opportunity um to really uh get to know um uh uh the data that we have. Make sure that that is correct and accurate so your accountability um uh calculations are also accurate. So, um before we sign off, we wanted to take the opportunity to just let you know of um upcoming and future learning opportunities with both performance reporting and assessment. Uh we know uh all of this is really complex uh in if you're in a small district or a smaller campus, uh you might be the accountability and assessment point person. Um you might be thinking about how do we coordinate across our two departments if you're in a larger district. Um but we know it's complex and we want to make sure that you have the information and
the tools that you need um uh uh to be successful. So one thing we did want to name uh is that if you are uh just want to learn more generally about accountability tools. Uh last month we did an accountability tools webinar. Um the uh recording and the deck are linked there. Um and kind of gives a very highlevel picture of all of the um or a good sampling of the suite of tools we offer. um including the PEM student demographic listing um the accelerated tester listing all of these things um uh that we offer to ensure uh again that your accountability da d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d
d d d d d d d d da is accurate. Uh so if you want kind of just very high level zoom out, we encourage you to take a look at that webinar um or um uh the slide deck. We um also uh want to just name uh uh we are getting ready in performance reporting for the 2028 refresh. Um and so uh actually next Tuesday are offering a um informational session on differential waiting of CCMR in 2031. Uh so if you are really focused um on CCMR um or have a very heavy hand in accountability, I encourage you to join us next Tuesday uh at um uh for that session. Um we also um uh will be as I said next week um be releasing the um updated or enhanced CCMR tracker part one
um uh that uh we are creating a um a video link uh that you'll be able to watch kind of walking you through the update and uh and again how we think you could use that uh to really inform um your own data systems at the campus. So that will be posted on teal uh next week uh and will also be available through our performance reporting bulletin. Uh so kind of an add-on to our accountability tools. Um if you attended that webinar, we are um kind of slowly releasing deeper dives on that. Uh and so next uh Friday in the PR bulletin or next Thursday on Teal, you'll be able to access that video. We also know there are lots of questions um as as some sort of transitions uh happen in the PES world
uh to really ensure federal requirement uh ensure federal requirements. Uh on May 6th we will be offering um a uh accountability best practices for the summer PM submission. Um uh PES and performance reporting will co-host that. Uh so mark your calendars for May 6th. Um uh there's a lot going on that time of year. So, we'll also name uh we will record that and post it and also make the deck available. Uh and then July 29th um if you are fortunate enough to be a 12-month employee, July 29th um we will be doing accountability best practices for the extended year submission. Uh and so excited to be there. Uh Karen, I don't know if you wanted to speak to any of the um assessment opportunities uh that are available as well. >> Certainly. Thanks, Katie.
So we do have quite a bit of trainings and webinars whether this is from the past that we've had um from this year. We do have one upcoming um training that we have regarding CRS. So that's our centralized reporting system um that is upcoming and so I put the link here um that takes you access to all of our webinars as well as the recordings and the slide decks if you would like to review any of those. There's also some information on test administration resources um that may be helpful thinking through as we've gotten a couple of questions in the chat regarding tide and different things and so that's a great link um for those resources and I know we had already kind of mentioned earlier that one pager on reporting events and deliberals deliverables
and so that link you can check that out again I would highly encourage to download that as it has a lot of information about the data verification window, dates, um when is this available, things like that. And then if you do need data sometimes, um at districts you would like to see what your fellow neighboring district is doing or campus, you can check out the research portal um that is updated on a regular basis that you can also find um the link there. So, lots of learning opportunities for sure. Sorry, I could not find the mute button. Uh, so to close us out for our time together today, um, here are some big ideas that we hope that you're taking away. U, first and foremost, accurate data submissions and updated data and tide are critical
for accurate accountability ratings. Um, as always, we want you to remember that TEA cannot see what is in your student information system. uh it's what's in ps and what's in tide that counts uh in terms of being counted quite literally for accountability ratings. Uh and so please please please make sure um that uh you are building out systems for accurate um PES submissions. Um we we know that things happen um and frankly things change so you can make those changes in Tide. Uh and then of course the opportunity if there are prior year PE submission errors um dig into that working submission. Um accountability data updates in TIDE can impact accountability ratings. So Karen went through several instances um uh that um a change in Tide and update in Tide has a real impact on
your accountability ratings. Uh we have until May 1st to review what is in TIDE and make corrections or updates. So again, we hope the PEM student demographic listing is a valuable tool uh in making those revisions uh and you have until May 1st to do so. As Karen outlined, there are a couple changes that can be made um as part of the data verification window after the testing window closes. Um but most of those that are going to have a big impact on accountability. those related to demographic um information specific to your students um have to be done by May 1st uh in order to be included in your um final um uh ratings. Um you can make the change but it but it won't be reflected in accountability. Uh and then our most successful
districts across the state review these reports as a team so together everyone achieves more. Uh so again we know if you are in a small district uh it is it is probably a a oneman or a onewoman show. Um we hope that you've got a buddy uh that can just help you crossch checkck um and in a larger district uh you know it can take some coordination to get all the right people at the table. Uh but again um these uh demographic updates that you can make in Tide um can have a big impact on your accountability. You want to make sure it's accurate. You want to make sure that the work of your students and your teachers and your leaders is accurately reflected. Uh so encourage you to take the time to do so.
Uh as always we appreciate your feedback. Um we um uh read every single comment um share that out, make revisions for future webinars. Uh and so uh please let us know how we did uh so we can improve future training opportunities. Again, uh we'll be back uh just next week talking about CCMR uh and then a little bit later in the spring to dig into um some more PES updates as we get ready for that summer submission. Um uh but please, we appreciate your feedback. We take it seriously. Um hopefully you've seen some improvement over the course of this year in our webinars. Uh and so appreciate your support um in uh helping us get better in meeting your needs.
