Good evening, President Farmer, Superintendent How, members of the board. >> It's Christmas in August, in April. >> In April, >> so from time to time, as you recall, we have excess proceeds from our tax sales uh in our efforts to collect the uh taxes uh levied by the school district and the other entities. If those properties sell for more than the taxes, that money is put into the registry of the court and the people that are entitled to it have a

two-year period of time to make a request for that. If they fail to, then those monies are divided among the taxing entities on the program a share. Uh tonight I have excess proceeds. I have uh eight checks total, seven checks, excuse me, uh for the district portion of the excess proceeds on on seven tax sales. Uh and uh as you recall, these monies are non-budgetary items, so the board can use them as they see fit at their discretion. They are not earmarked for any particular budgetary item. Uh tonight, I'm going to present uh Superintendent How with checks totaling $28,331.36. So helping to chip away at that deficit. Let me uh say a few things. Uh Mr. Chambers will tell you when one minute get another one minute let you know you have three brief minutes.

Okay. >> Yes sir. >> I'll be brief. Uh I'm I'm Randall American Roofing. I own the local roofing company here. We've been servicing of course can IST for 15 plus years. We've uh repaired this building many many times and all the other campuses. So my question is on the bond money. Uh I'll be I'll be brief. I was told by you know we've been working with Brad Harrison the guy that's in charge of of taking care of of the uh the different uh campuses. So my question is are we going to be able to bid on these jobs? Are we using outside uh people that are not from Corsa Canana to do these roofs and the new builds on the new construction that the bond money has been approved for? >> Well, I I can't

I can't answer you. I mean, I can't reply back to you. >> Okay. So, I get I guess my question is how would I go about bidding on these jobs that are becoming available? Do I just come to these meetings? Brad told me to come here and be involved. I've been thought I was involved pretty well. I've been doing the work for 15 plus years. So, >> let me just say it probably good you to call the superintendent. >> Call the superintendent's office. >> Call me tomorrow. >> Okay, I can do that. >> Thank you. Appreciate you. >> Yes, sir. The next thing is the uh the board training print. I'm sorry. I jumped ahead. >> Good evening everyone. Um it's baseball season. So if I may, we are in the seventh inning stretch of

the school year. After today, there are only four Mondays left before the end of the school year on May 22nd. So that's exciting for most of us. Uh two weeks ago, of course, Atlanta High School announced its validictorianing a saludiatoran. Abby Berg was named Val and Lana Gober earned the saludiatoran and both were surprised with announcements at their homes. They will be at the May 18th board meeting to lend to lead our pledges and to be honored. So congratulations to Abby and Lana. On the athletics horizon, we are down to two sports, baseball and track. Tigers baseball faces in a big series here this week that could determine the district title. The regular season finale is scheduled at home Friday. Track hosted the area meet and ascending the following to the regional meet at UTA

on May 1st and 2nd. Misha Reinhardt is the girls 400 meters and triple jump. Area gold medal winner Corbin Branch in the boys long jump, DeAndre Lloyd in the boys 200 meters, and the girls 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams. Uh, tennis also wrapped up its season this weekend at the regional 25A tournament in Prosper with Kate Higs and girls singles and her brother Will and John and boys doubles all finishing fourth. The top three advanced to state and they just missed out. So, cong congrats to all of our athletes and their recent accomplishments. I'm just glad they made it to prom that night. They were prosper and they needed to be in prom at the same time. Uh, we also have FFA team headed to the state. Our CHS range team of Laney Walker,

Ava Lavine, Savannah Swanson, and Aubrey Yeets won district and finished fourth in the area to advance the state competition this Thursday. So, good luck to those ladies. And then I have several other things I'm just going to quickly point out. Wednesday is Ministry of the Professionals Day and we have many great people in the district to applaud. One being in here, and it's Mel Harrison. She's my favorite. So, she does a lot. So, appreciate her so much. Thursday is our final meeting of the school year for the Golden Tigers 55 and over club. It's scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at Corsacana Middle School and topics include amazing shape, CMS stretch your stop stripes campaign, our FFA program, and the Colin scholarship. So come and join us. Even if you're not 55 and over, you can come

join us. The Calico are scheduled to host their spring show over two days with a 6 pm performance on Friday, a 2:00 p.m. performance on Saturday at the Porsche County High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15 and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Saturday is Derek Days and Corsera County ISD will have a booth downtown at the corner of Beaten and Fourth Avenue. Come by, say hello. And next Tuesday is school bus appreciation day and a special time to honor these men and women who get up very, very early and work nights and weekends to ensure our students and student athletes get to school and extracurricular activities and then back home and safely as possible. So, thank you to our bus drivers. And that was a lot. It is almost May. So

a roofing updates. >> Yeah, we're in the roofing. Just step. >> Good evening, guys. Um, I'm going to try to keep real brief. Um, tell you a little bit about me and our company. Um, first off, I want as part of Parson's roof, I want to thank y'all for giving us a continued opportunity to work with course of Canada. We've done numerous jobs with the district and uh, we look forward to continuing that. Um, anyhow, my name is Jeff Strain. I'm the sales director for partial roofing. I also have Shannon Becker with me who's retired superintendent from Mildrid who also works with me. Um, quick background on me. I'm an ex- educator, ex administrator. Um, got out after 14 years, but stayed in. I was on the school board at Robinson for 16 years. Um,

I moved uh had to get off the board last year because we moved locations and so didn't do it from a different town. Um, anyhow, um, a little bit about us. As y'all see, y'all have the packet in front of y'all. I'm just going to touch on a couple of things about our company. Um, as y'all know, we're we're very big to our last contractor. Uh, once again, this past year, we're the contractor of the year, which means we're the biggest durast installer in the nation. Uh, that's 17 years that we've done that. Um, it's it's a pretty big deal. Um, you know, if you can tout that, it's it's, you know, it's a pretty big accomplishment. Um, one thing about our jobs, um, as it says right here, we always have a on-site project

manager, full-time superintendent, foreman, and a safety manager. And so on any of the jobs that we do, we always have those on site. Um, which is very helpful. Um, all of our employees are our employees. Um, they're screened, they're background checked. Um, you know, we work with school districts every every day. So, um, you know, we have the right right people working. Um, turnkey price. Uh, we don't we don't give a low number and then come in and try to change order anything before the job ever starts. Uh, the price that we give you is the price that you have. Um, we don't we don't believe in change orders. Uh, then we think we have the best warranties in the in the business. Duras has a great warranty. Very simple process for any type of

warranty. if you want to call to us and we take care of everything. Um, next couple pages are just about repairs and about size of jobs we've done. Uh, the next couple of pages, uh, school references. As you can see, we have quite a few references. Um, you know, feel free to call any of those or, you know, look and see what districts it is. Um, we do, uh, school districts all over all over the state as you can see. Uh the next couple of pages is about our preventative maintenance program. This is an annual program that we do. We've started this about five years ago and um offer it to school districts throughout the state. Um it covers quite a bit. Um we come out twice a year. We clean your roofs. We clean

your gutters. We inspect the envelope of your building. We give you inspection reports with pictures and recommendations. We grade out every every school building that you have on a grade from just like you would in school A through F. We try to give you a timeline on any school roof that is in your district. You know, it might be um hey, if the weather doesn't hit the way, you know, no hell storms, anything. You got 15 years, you know, we're thinking on this roof. Or it might be guys here in the next year or two, we need to start looking at um possibly replacing. And so it's it's a uh we we do a lot with this maintenance program. Um and it's very beneficial for schools. And so that's part of our package that we're

giving with y'all. Um the next the next few pages are just uh pictures of some of the roofs that we're looking at um doing through the bond package and it just shows you some deficiencies and overall pictures. Um and so you can look through that. It kind of explains everything. Um, and then of course we have our warranties. We have 15 year with a 10-year extended warranty for course. So it turns out to be a 25-year warranty on any roof that we do. Um, as as I said earlier, the the warranty is is about as simple as it gets. And so very good deal. Um, and then the last the last part, it has um all of the quotes for the different buildings that u we assessed and gave numbers for. And so you have

those numbers, but if you would turn back to the um you turn back to the summary sheet that's on the on the uh second to last page, I guess. And um so we have the totals and what we've done is we've given a discount because of a multi-building discount. Um meeting with Stephanie, we've we've talked about being able to we're a big enough company where we can have multiple crews doing jobs at all at once. And so we're not going to have one crew hop on from one school to another school. We're going to we're going to try to knock it all out at once. Doing that, we're able to mobilize equipment, materials, um our employees and everything. So, we're able to discount that because it's uh it's saving it's saving y'all money. It's saving

us money being able to do all of this at once. And so, what we've done is we've come up with the discount um which is on your right hand side. Um, and then for one year on this maintenance agreement that we're talking about, we're doing it at no charge. And so, um, if you look over to the right, your your final total is over there to the right side. And so, um, we've inspected, we've done everything we need to. We think that, um, this is definitely in your ballpark. I think it's a necessity. I can tell you that. your your roofs are not in very good shape, the ones that we have right here. And it is a necessity. And um you know, we would we really appreciate the business and we would look forward

to working with y'all. >> And I'm here for questions or if you have anything. Just so yall know, Carol, no, Collins, and Bannon are the four campuses that need are Ruth the worst out of the district out of the eight campuses. >> So, if everybody just to remind everyone, so through the bond, we had multiple projects. There was a a budget just for roofs and that budget was uh $2.56 million. So, this is under that budget. So, we would come in under that budget. What were the campuses again? I'm sorry. >> Carol, Navo, Collins, and Fannon. >> Anyone have any questions? >> As far as the time frame of completing projects, what what uh would you say is estimated time it would take to do say Carol Elementary or or you know the elementary schools.

>> So what we would do is we would order materials immediately and um the district's already given us the green light to start four schools out. And so you're looking at um if we were to start in May, we would be we would try to finish all of the schools before school starts in the in the fall. >> And that extended warranty is not included in this. Correct. It is. >> It is included in this as well. >> Yes. So, you end up with a 25 year warranty. >> Does anybody have any questions? >> This is an actual Adam. I move that we approve the roof replacement projects of Colin at Collins Intermediate, Nea Elementary, Bennett Elementary, and Carol Elementary using bond funds. Second. >> We have a motion. A motion to approve the roof

replacement of project college intermeding elementary and Carol using the funds. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Those say no. The motion passes to approve the roof placement they presented. >> Thank you. Uh the next thing is uh the bond update from Ken Re and Bryant. >> Good afternoon President, Mr. Farmer, board of trustees and superintendent. I'd first like to personally thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this this bond project. You got me in the hand. So, I'm excited about that. So, thank you very much. All right, here we go. So, and how and I was walking to the high school the other day and I said, "You got about a month before school's out from this time about 6 weeks from now, it's supposed to get busy." She

said, "I'm ready." And so, on behalf of myself and Mary from John from EWC, I can tell you we're ready. Ready as well. Usually at presentations, I like to show a couple dates. I like to show the ending dates so that way you know when we're going to get started. And then I think most importantly, I like to keep in front of you the ending date because I know we want to finish on time. So, uh hopefully I won't have to stand up here and say we're going to have to push that date back a little bit, but the goal is that we don't have to push a date back. So for the high school, the construction project actually that uh the uh CTE building will start that's that'll be actually the first true construction

for the high school. When I say that I mean actual building taking place um November the 19th of 2020 26 but we are going to start demo on June the 1st. So we're going to demo the stairwell area. We'll be tying the U CTE into the main building as when we get to that, but we need to do that now during the summer because of the noise and the safety factor. So, that's why we're going to start earlier and I'll show you a picture of that here in just a second. The ECC will start October the 6th. The and you can on the the dates on the outside is the completion dates. We'll talk about those more as when we get into them. Uh the egg barn will start August the 25th. The transportation building

will start August the 11th. The Collins and Collins ele intermediate and the two Louis and Fann elementary schools will both all three start sometime in September of 20 27 but now the date is 15. So, that's a picture there of the stairwell that we'll be demoing. The red, you see the red area, and at the bottom, you'll see a little bit of demo work. That'll be on the outside of the kitchen. Uh, that's actually the the cupboard area. So, we're going to go ahead and get that done this summer. And here's another picture that shows A and B, which is the CTE where we'll actually start building. I wanted to show you this picture because C and D that area u we're going to have to do some asbestous abatement this summer. So as I

get into what we've been doing the past couple of months we've been doing some work that includes asbestous work and so C and D will require that this summer because we're going to do demo work on that black line area which is the wall uh that will separate right now the outside wall and There's a lot of four tile in CN D that has asbestous. It's actually the glue underneath that the four tile. Um it's called black mastic. And so we get into that. We had to do that removal before the students are in. So what have we been doing the last couple months getting as we get ready for all these construction projects? We've been doing asbestous testing number one. Uh we've tested all the high school uh areas that we'll be doing renovation.

Uh part of the state of Texas when you're going to do renovation in school districts, you have to test for asbestous and if you have asbestous, you have to abate it prior to the work. We also have some asbestous in the cement blocks and cinder blocks in the walls. And what that's what's causing that is is where the asbestous is is they use a they use a a seal that actually covers the pores of the of the brick so that when you paint it, it it paints all the way across. You don't leave a hose where you can't get in there with the paint. So if we do any we do any area that has to remove the cinder blocks, we'll have to uh do that prior to the work. We've been having the campuses

surveyed that's having worked uh in the survey process. Uh we're checking boundary lines. Uh we're checking for utilities. Very important during construction. We're going to do our best not to hit a utility line, especially while school's taking place. We don't want to shut the schools down. So John and I have been talking about things that we can do to prevent that on the front side. Um ECC early childhood center and transportation. There's there was a discussion about the boundary line where a highline wire runs runs across. Um we've done some homework on that. I'll share that with you in a minute as I show some pictures. Geotech um that's complete. We've taken soil samples of all the areas where we're going to build to ensure we do the proper uh work for the foundations. We

took core samples all the way to 60 ft below the surface. Meeting with the city of Corsa County. It's very important. We want to make sure we have a great relationship with them as we get into these projects. Uh we've been talking about permitting, building codes, inspections. Um met with the fire marshall. We want to keep him happy. He can stop us anytime he wants to. So we want to make sure he knows what's going on. They know what's going on at all times. Shade met with the Nero County Forest while we were having another meeting and a member of Mary's team, Jesse. They met. We had some questions about Drain Road. Y'all know we got a lot of work to do there. Uh we're still waiting on some answers. One of the answers we

heard was they don't have the funding for the road. So, we'll be in discussions on how we're going to handle that, how we move forward. And I'm sorry I misspelled the exhibit. Uh, exhibit Concepts is the third party uh, company that we're going to work with uh, for the early childhood center to do the 18 learning environment classrooms. Uh, we've had two or three meetings with them. Uh, we had a great meeting in the last meeting. We talked about future design, getting the contract submitted to us so that we can ask you guys to approve the contract and move forward with that. Okay, a few pictures. Uh this is the hallway between the gym and uh the dance studio. There's a few tiles missing in there or you can see them have been removed. And

that's that black mastic that I was talking to you about. Uh some of those were already broken. So we discussed it. We made a decision and over Easter break uh we had that abated and so we've taken care of that area already. That's some uh people from the asbesus team pulling samples of the center blocks. We also took samples of the gym floor to make sure there was no issues with with the floor as well. So that's our survey crew. They were out marking boundary lines and that's a guy on the bottom. He's using his probe to check for utility lines so we can locate them as well. That's from our geotech. That's their equipment that they use to to drive poles down 60 foot deep for core samples. We did get a report back.

Uh we did get a a early report. It's not final. Uh that we do have some uh work to do with foundations. Uh the soils aren't up to par. guys who live here probably heard that before. So, we're waiting for final reports on that so that way we can uh get their engineering determination on what we need to do for the uh foundations. I threw that picture in there because I wanted to give John a shout out. The geotech calls me on about a Tuesday and says, "Hey, while we got our equipment here, we need to pull the samples of the ECC, but it's all woods and we can't get in there with our equipment. And if you don't want to have to pay extra money for that to bring the the truck back, um,

can you help us?" So, I called John. He says, "Don't worry, man. I got this." Sure enough, the next day he had that track out there and did what needed to be done and we got those samples out. Okay, this is the last couple slides that I want to show you. This is this is from the Wild County website and this is in regards to the boundary line for the transportation area uh early childhood center. So, I'm going to step around here and kind of point my pointer won't work. This is partial for those in the audience. It's that big rectangle square in the middle right to your right. You see a boundary line, a dark blue line here. This belongs to the city. So we are all under the understanding from the getgo that

that was the boundary line and it has been for some time. When I received the survey back from people surveying company, they saw a black line on the left side of what's the utility line and another red line on the right side of the utility line that belongs to the city instead of them being one straight line. That's 3.88 acres. That ratio belongs to the utility on card. So, um, we called Encore and asked them about it and they said, "No, that property belongs to CISD and we have an easement." So, I called the utility I mean the surveyors back and they said, "No, that belongs to Encore and we'll send you the deeds to prove it." So, I said, "Send them to me." They sent them to me. I read them. Uh, long story

short, I called uh, Micro Title, Nero County Abstract, and Royal Title, all right here, local. Very kind people. They all helped us out, did their homework, gave me a call back, and said the survey is correct, that that property is owned by Encore. Today, Encore doesn't know it, but I'll be contacting them, letting them know. We've got to uh talk with them as we work through maybe some easements for us or something because there's potential we have a road going right through there for the transportation area as well. So that's my update, my first one for you guys. So if you got any questions, I'm ready. If not, I'll turn it over to Mary. She's going to give you design update, which is way more exciting than what I >> sell. Thank you. All right.

Yes. On to the um Okay. So, a lot of what I am showing tonight is similar images to what you've seen all along, but we did want to really focus on the interiors tonight. So, if you want me to pause on any of the exteriors or floor plans and anything, I'm happy to do so. But like I said, interiors and we do have material pallets in the back. So before you break for a close session, if you want to just take a look at everything, touch feel and see exactly what we're proposing. Um okay, so a lot of the existing scope. So my team and I have my team here. Um just a small portion of them. Um, but we have been really working hard on all of these coordination items as Ken mentioned and

working with the city and so we're there's a lot of moving pieces right now. Um, but we're we're really starting to dig into the construction documents phase. So that's where we just put head down, pen and paper and drop. So that's really the next step in our process, but we did want to show um where we are. So uh really the development for the floor plans are the how we need to demo to have egress for the students during the course of construction. So because we're dropping off the existing stairwells especially the second floor those kids upstairs have to be able to get out if there's an emergency. So, we met with the fire marshall and we have a plan in place, but that does equal we are going to have to create some new

corridors along that north wall. K did point. Okay, so along here and here as well. Um, again for emergency eress. Um, so on and then we're going to have some temporary stairs from the second floor that exit out, but that's only in an emergency situation. So that satisfied the fire of Marshall. Um, so that's a lot of the work we're trying to accomplish this summer. So we are going to be rearranging some of the classrooms along that wall. But what we're doing this summer, we're trying to do it as as fully as possible. So we're not ripping out and redoing it later. There may be a little rework here and there, but that is the goal. Uh similar on the second floor. Um we can come back to this, but little QR code. You could

scan that with your phone and have a 3D view and look around a classroom. All right. Okay. >> And this is is this in their board packet? Okay. >> No, but we have the PDF version is smaller. Um, okay. So, I'm going to move a little faster through these. Okay. But looking at the interior design. So, we are exploring material pallets as I mentioned. So, this is that new um student learning stair that is going to be in the center of the new CTE wing and connects the first and second floor. It is a large group gathering space. Uh we can have LED screens or a projector on that wall. Um, but you'll see this coffford wood ceiling element is starting to show up in various places and because we're really trying to make the

whole campus more cohesive overall. So, a lot of the material choices you're going to see are are really trying to um make it all feel like one campus instead of like pieced together. Um, but because a lot of the existing building was built in the 60s, so 68, we do have a little bit of a nod to some of that mid-century modern feel, but still keeping a very really a neutral pallet that can age well and with the life of the building because this is a big project and um so but very respectful. Uh a quick view of the CTE corridor. So looking at how we can start naming the different shop spaces and incorporate signage. Um on here we are looking at tile uh polished concrete floors, tile on the walls and some tack

strips along those corridors just for display. A quick restroom look. Um again looking at the exterior. So these really haven't changed too much. since last time. And then that center courtyard shops. I mean, we've done all the tours and now we're having all the equipment laid out and electrical loads and everything is getting planned out. So, there's a lot of data that's going into these um existing CTE wing and then how the new is going to be looking. So this is largely culinary arts uh medical medical health or health medical um and then the AV tech and within that we still have a large broadcasting room. It's going to be like a full TV studio and the beastro and everything as well. So that's a look in that hallway. Okay. So again, similar signage, labeling

the different spaces, lots of windows, so all the programs are visual and you can see what different classes are doing and it may spark interest for other students. Um, just a look at a one of the more typical classrooms. I think that's the medical one, the intro. Um this is this isn't as exciting but um this is a portion of the building that is currently carpentry. Um where criminal sciences is moving on the left hand side with that entry corridor. Uh we're updating the restrooms and everything for ADA. you still have storage, but that hallway that is part of the exterior um canopy hallway. So, that's really becoming the new CTE branch that runs along the school. And so, this building is off of that. The center portion is ISS. Um so, the desks are

nicely spaced out. And then on the right is the AVU program. Each space has dedicated restrooms. Um, but that those two are off more the main corridor on the classroom bar side. Um, okay. So, this is cafeteria and kitchen expansion and the LGI. So, looking this is the existing gym. So, the portion of the gym that we're taking over um and we did factor in your comments last time that we needed more restrooms in here and so we we were like 100% agreed. So, a whole point. So, we did add a large bank of restrooms on the north side of that gym. Um so, lots of restrooms that even the auditorium can lead into and use. Um but again so similar uh ceiling elements bringing in that the natural wood even some stone tones. Um

the existing terzo floor that is there that was actually something that came out this week. It would break my heart to tear that up. And it's terazzo is one of the best materials you can use. That's why it's in airports. It's extremely durable. I mean that floor has been there since the 60s and it looks great. We are planning on polishing it down, stripping all the wax off, cleaning it, resealing it, so it's going to look brand new, but rather than tear all that up and put more of a plastic LVT down, it's it's just a better product. So, we're going to maintain anywhere there's existing Turzo as much as we can, we're keeping that. Um, so that was a big design decision this week. Um, even thinking of some graphic opportunities on the walls

and then those four doors on the right side lead into the LGI spaces. Uh, this is looking the other direction towards the existing cafeteria. There are some column grids that are just existing that we're working around, but we're trying to incorporate some seating and booths and things like that just to make it have more of a purpose. And then and bringing in some natural daylight. So, we're going to add some new windows um out to the student the new student courtyard. Um this is looking on the existing cafeteria side. So, again, similar design language. um really refreshing that space and and having a a very fresh feel. Um this is looking towards the auditorium. So to bring that whole space all around, we're going to refresh those little al coes as well or into the

auditorium space. And then to the left is the new serving line. So all new glass. It's going to be open and you can see into the serving but still secure it when you want. Those are those ales and then the material palette and like I mentioned we have the physicals um behind us uh outdoor student dining. So this is a look at that space. We're trying to give a safe protected area but where where we thought a high school kid would want to hang out with their friends. So maybe some turf mounds and benches and even just picnic tables and things like that. Will will that will that just be open or will that be secured as well? >> So this whole portion of the campus is secure because it's past the guard gate. So

that's what we've discussed. Um so you have to have you have to get through a secure point to get to that. Um, even within the space, we'll have large fans and shaded and covered. So, a nice space and similar design language that we're bringing from the front of the building on the new CT. So, it's all starting to come together um on the opposite side. So, this is on the van side um uh where the new kitchen is going. So basically the kitchen area now the loading is flipping to the van side. So brand new loading dock um and then some parking assuming for kitchen staff um but we can back an 18-wheeler up and load and unload easily. Um as well as dumpsters. So this summer this whole part of the campus is going

to be taken over by the contractors. So just you know, we're we're working through all that phasing plan right now. Okay, moving on to ECC. Again, the plan hasn't changed since last time. Zoom through this. This is the back side. Um, I guess one thing real quick that I'll mention. So, as of right now in our base bid, we are planning on having two separate playgrounds. One for prek, one for kindergarten. So, kinder is on the right, prek's on the left. um if that's going to be our base bid. If budget if we do have to make some hard decisions, we can have one larger playground. Um and that would probably be in the center, but right now we're planning on two separate ones. So, the space outside the gym, uh we were just discussing

that this week. Uh we can it can really start to become a whole outdoor learning space. There could be gardens or green houses or just turf, like lots of possibilities. So, we're planning on having some water sources as well as power sources so the school can really develop whatever program you would want to in the future. So, some looks this is uh the reception. So, we are incorporating a pretty natural palette. So, blues, greens, uh, yellow, like a terracotta color, beiges. Um, and we are using a lot of those as wayfinding for the little kit. So, each pod will really have their own color and identity. Um, this is the gym space. So, um, like a rubber flooring. Okay, got ahead of myself, but this is one of the corridors. So, the lines are you

can basically follow the line and it'll take you to your pod. Um, that's really good for littles who maybe can't read yet. So, it's very easy to navigate the campus. Um, lots of bright colors. Um, so this is an example of one of the pods. This is actually on the Kinder side. um where again we're creating that central family style dining experience and instead of the centralized cafeteria so that is being spread into the pods. Um bookcases which would help house a lot of the library collection. Um and then just trying to really bring in some fun elements on the ceiling bringing in natural light. um we are taking into acoustics and tackable surfaces and cleanability and all those things are are huge factors that we're looking at. This is looking the other way. So

this would be the green pod and these are all the kindergarten side. The prek for the central pod is a similar design and palette just with a little bit more muted colors. But then the exhibit concepts will go into the classroom themselves and outfit the prek. And then we're doing the kinder side a little more. It's not really traditional, but it's more of a typical kindergarten room. So the green side and then looks kind of pink on here, but it's more of a terracotta earth tone color. And we were thinking of even having dinosaur footprints and fossil eggs and really some of those fun elements. Um, this was an option for a yellow wing um with some butterflies and bees or a combo of the two. Um, so like kites and sky. So this is

actually on the prek side. So the prek we have the cubbies here where they can put their backpacks and lunchbox and all of that tackable surface versus having the bookcases to house the library collection um blue underwater. Okay. And then moving quickly is the act. Okay. an example of the the arena in the ash facility. So, um the main focus for this is obviously durability, cleanability, um so concrete floors. We are really proposing having a secondary metal panel on the inside of the building. That's something that other school districts have done because you can just hose the whole thing down versus having that exposed insulation which just gets birds get in it, bugs get in it, it just kind of gets gross over time. So it just helps with the maintenance of the building. And

then transportation. So transportation, we are actually 75% complete with our construction documents. So, we just sent that deliverable to the school this week. Um, so that's moving right along, but this is an example of that um in the shop phase. And that's that's kind of a lot of it. So, any questions? That's a lot. >> It's a lot. It's a lot of work. So, the team has been doing amazingly. >> We also have BWC here. John, and I was just going to say since um there's people in the room that kind of wanted to know this, we're they're going to have a job fair for all of our local contractors. We're hoping in May. So, the district's going to work with BWC. They'll get to come into the boardroom. We'll put that out and on

on our social media. So any local contractors, roofing, HVAC, whatever it is, will get to come in, meet our contractor, and they'll know exactly when those bids are open so that we can make sure that all of our local um people have opportunities to bid on everything for our client. >> Yes. >> And everything will be bid out. So if if you want information or you want to know when the bids will be advertised in the local newspapers, they'll be advertised a lot of places, all main bid rooms, but also if you contact me, I'll tell you everything you need. >> Yeah. Schedule precons all the time. >> Yep. >> Okay. Thank you. consent agenda. >> Mr. President, I move that we approve the consent agenda. >> Second. >> We have a motion to say

approve the consent agenda. All in favor say I. >> All say no. Motion approve the consent agenda passes. We will adjourn. And we're now journeying to close session for this government code section 55101. Thank you everyone.
