001Good evening. I call this Man Valley ISD special board meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on November 20th, 2025. We have a quorum of board members present. Absent board member is Mr. Bonnie. We'll begin with a pledge of allegiance followed by a moment of silence. Next we have public comment. No one signed up to speak. So moving on, we have consider approval of engineering services with MEP engineering incorporated for Medina Valley High School HVAC system utilizing bond 2023 funds and authorize the superintendent negotiate the terms of the contract. Mr. Brahas. >> Yes. Good evening, Mr. President, members of the board, Dr. Kaos, uh there are several uh HVAC units and systems, exhaust fans that need upgrading uh at Medina Valley High School. Um we have engaged with MEP engineers to develop a proposal to uh

002change these units. Some of the scope again will be uh unit replacement, electrical upgrades uh and HVAC controls amongst uh other items like exhaust fans. Uh MEP was one of our pre-approved uh firms after we went out for an RFQ for qualified firms. As you guys can see there, um they were the the highest rated uh among the bunch that was approved. Uh so with that we come to you uh in recommendation that the board approve MEP engineers as a firm to provide design services for this project uh Medina Valley High School. And with that we'll take any questions. Again the funding source for this is interest earnings from the 2023 bond. >> Yes sir. Any other questions? Not I'll look for a motion.
