i can't hear anyone if i'm supposed to be hearing something wow can you hear me deborah oh look at that can you hear us now deborah probably not because i've got it muted [Music] if you're trying to say something [Music] okay i got other things to watch i don't know how do i turn them down i don't know but that's going to be the long meaning if we have to listen to the meal with us what do you guys think yeah just a little do we need to turn it down on our end does that change it at all i think i got it on mine speak a little bit longer uh does that help at all yes all right i think we're good are we ready maybe okay let me just get into the
board box yep we're ready now okay i can't share my screen i'm sorry um it's just i haven't i got a new computer and i haven't been able to set it up for the camera yet that's one thing i forgot i didn't know we were zooming today or i would have tested that but are you recording you ready we're ready yep okay i'd like to uh welcome everybody out to school board tonight the time is now 5 32 all board members are either here or are with us electronically and um one of them will be joining us shortly so um let's get started we will start with oh also our business administrator and our superintendent how could i forget them i don't know i did though sorry and our administrative assistant okay let's get started
with the pledge of allegiance um we had uh mrs radke going to do that but i'm going to let linda do that is they're okay with that wendy yes okay pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states [Music] and we are going to have mr hardman read our vision and mission statement but i will do that for him [Music] vision statement south summit school district valuing individuals and preparing them for success our mission statement we support empower and inspire individuals to promote and achieve academic and character excellence our governing values this the student family school and community is an ongoing partnership engaged in effective two-way communication that is is responsible for the learning environment sound fiscal decision making and open honest communication combined with ethical behavior and integrity are central to the organization and
foster community trust the district uses research-based instructional strategies standard-based curriculum supported by assessment data analysis and appropriate professional development to meet the diverse learning needs of all students all right well that's even worse when they take them off okay superintendent i'm going to turn it over to you for our spotlights all right well three of our current employees of the year are here if the three of you want to come up that would be great we have cody bowen from the high school and um julie read hit from the elementary school and cindy burnham from silver summit uh additional employees of the year were tara ames from the middle school and joe keddington were uh they he also was uh an employee of the year so first we we have some we tried to get
embarrassing pictures but we we didn't but um having gone through this process you know the the foundation uh helps run this and facilitate that and this year we we included a rubric in the uh selection process and um and so for me it was really fun and um and powerful to read comments from students and p you know some of their peers from parents about each one of these uh about each one of these employees and to really get to see and feel the impact that they make on students lives and on their school community overall and so um i first want to publicly congratulate them and thank them for all of the work they do i do believe that there's never enough thanks given to uh public employees but um i did at least
want to acknowledge that publicly now that um you guys are rock stars and thank you thank you thank you and keep up the good work great job [Applause] share cindy cindy [Laughter] i do have some fun video with some of them because they none of them yeah [Laughter] you can tell right now who the first person is worried about that but we didn't upload that but no it was really fun because um uh i think all of their families were able to keep it a secret from them and so i think that just added to the so the shock and awe and surprise of it all so i don't know if you guys have anything you want to add or if any of the board members do but they they are great examples of what
it means to be a south summit school district uh employee three of the best four i'll just make the comment that i think this is a great program that we started a few years ago and we couldn't have given it to more deserving people this year just wish it could have been more and and but congratulations thank you very much appreciate it yep pictures the other thing i did want to publicly say is i appreciate not only the foundation working on this and the and the committee that worked on this but um jody did jody put a lot of work in time into helping um create and facilitate this whole process so thank you jody i want to stand with the cool kids move the chair out of the way let me move that other
chair just my skin right here yeah in front of my belly okay one two three i've even got wendy up there on screen can we get debra can you put both of them i don't know maybe see if i can get both of them there they are oh i there want my name in there again you're getting double shot thanks jody thank you all appreciate it don't sit down without your chair feeling bad okay moving on master planning ready yep wes you're up master planning update i did find out that west likes corn dogs since we all went together yes that was a first for me it was that microphone a bit less it went by there and the trailer was gone today visit us all right are we ready okay uh just some updates
as to what's going on right now with the master planning um the priority projects are pretty well up and rolling uh high school dry fire suppression system pipe replacement has started they started in the main gym trying to focus on getting that done as quickly as possible so we can move on from that to floor finish and get it open for for use hopefully by mid-july is the goal there at that point they'll move on into the corridors and things like that where it's not going to impede the student use of the building quite so much high school cte lab has been pretty well fully gutted um new plumbing has been installed and under subgrade and they'll be hopefully starting for cement next tuesday if cement powder is available there's a lot of shortage issues
right now with our projects you know what i was impressed i went and saw that bart took me in there to look at that there's a horse door yeah there'll be a horse store when we're done wow i didn't know that big roll up door so you can take a horse right into school so yeah anyway that that was moving right along as we go along there's always a few little uh changes and things we're finding that we're having to tweak as we go but with help for architect we're able to stay on top of a lot of that and keep keep things rolling the middle school project is a little bit more difficult in the aspect of some of the specs were found on the doors that were available that didn't meet our specs
and so we're kind of on hold right there for now we've asked them to not do any demolition until we know doors are available to put in those holes we don't know what that's going to look like so many of them are out 12 14 weeks we don't know but as soon as we know they're available we will uh start demolition again on those and it may be something we have to plug in over fall break things like that if uh or we'll just get them on get the doors here and get them done as as available but that's a little bit harder right now again supply chain issues are crazy um the elementary school boilers is another one um they have been ordered scheduled to ship on the 22nd of july they i just
found out this afternoon we will be meeting first to next week and demolition of the old boiler systems can start next week as well um we're not completely sure yet i have asked them to make sure we have every precaution covered to me if there is a delay on those boilers like so many other things that we've got to back up so they're going to keep our old boilers on standby if for some reason um there's a delay just so we don't end up in the fall without heat also as part of that project um there's an alternate that will be will be up uh later on in the agenda for some boiler very variable speed pumps those we recommend we get them put in right away they were not part of the original bid
amount agreed to uh or approved previously but anyway we can discuss that a little bit later we've received some bids for the gristmill house restoration we approached a few different companies we thought we had three committed to giving us quotes last minute the third one pulled out we do have two quotes there to consider for that renovation we haven't asked them to do anything overly fancy or spectacular with the home but just something to make it nice and livable what kind of timetable you're looking if once we accept a bid um they're still looking minimum six months is what we're hearing it's just everything is everywhere we look it's kind of the delay that's killing us yeah yeah that and they've got you know everybody's got labored shorty just used that kind of thing so
but uh again we'll discuss we can discuss those numbers later on if you'd like um softball field status been signed it's in the hands of the general um thursday we have a pre-construction meeting on site and they're committed to mobilizing to start breaking ground june 30th which we're relieved to see finally we have an mou with the city to begin the process and start the project as the rezone of the property continues we received a favorable recommendation from the planning commission tuesday night and that will go to the city council on third or next tuesday sorry we're on the agenda for that hopefully we can get approval right then and there too can continue and have everything covered that the city's asking us to do what what's going on with the uh road thing uh
we've filed uh the recorder's office we filed for those deeds to be recorded to deed that city right away over to the city okay um pending see how that if that all works out in the city but we can go ahead and start breaking ground yeah the mou allows us to break immediately our softball coach that left a few minutes ago we'll be glad to hear that yeah yeah i've updated them all today as soon as i heard that that that date was was finally slated so yeah um the last thing um kind of last big thing um we weren't quite able to get all of the bids gathered up in time to get them out to you so next month we'll be bringing forward some ideas for the elementary school playgrounds that we have
a major need to update uh repair as well as some additional equipment that they're asking for again we'll present it next month but it'll with the excavation and all the equipment we're looking probably around fifty three thousand dollars the elementary's got some pto money they're wanting to kick in to help with that up to i think twenty thousand they'd said so um that is likely going to be a spring summer project of next year in the aspect of it won't get here in time for we'll be in the mud if we try to do it this fall yeah uh anything i missed i think that's oh the portable sorry portable um i skipped that one portable is currently being broken down today over at silver summit they will be rolled out of there on monday
we're going to temporarily put it onto the jordan property and storage until we can find the best possible home for it whether it be on district or or selling it depending on if we can find that right fit but um it's a savings to just have it moved and set rather than set it up somewhere and find out that it's not what we needed there so um yeah at least we'll crowd it over there's a cement slab over there um we won't play off the bar north of the north side yeah north of the house there's a cement slab they'll send it on we'll we will um weatherproof it so that it should sit for well for about a year year and a half before we have to worry about the wrapping and stuff starting
to break down we'll have to make a decision within that time frame to either get it moved somewhere permanently or else uh surplus if we choose to so and we have some ideas of where to put it but we want to make sure that it's meeting the needs of a of a building and that it's that the investment wherever we put it we know we're having to run power and some sort of data whether it's through a wireless bridge or whatever however that's done there's some there's there are some significant costs involved with setting that up not just actually setting the building the two sides together and making it look nice but you know getting it connected with fire you know the fire panel and and alarms and all whatever all that other stuff and
that's that's where um like i said we do have some ideas but um before we go and invest that kind of money to pull wire and everything else we want to make sure it's going to a semi-permanent home not that you ever want a portable it'll be permanent but you know at least a longer term we just felt that immediately it's got to be out the full cost isn't there unless we set it up so for now this is probably i know we feel like that's the best fit until we do we have any of the schools that want it yeah i i think uh there's there are a couple of schools that would like it we've yeah we've we've walked to the grounds we have uh there are a couple places that we could
that we could uh put it but again if if there's not a need for the actual classroom space then it really probably is not worth the investment to do groundwork and pull wire and and network and everything else and then and if that were the case then we would probably look at at selling it so i think every building would love the extra space it's just whether or not we weigh that as a as you know the best the best bang for the dollar and they're they're there's a shortage of office space for you know at schools too and and so we've talked about way you know weighing that as well so it's just it's making sure that wherever we end up putting it if we put it somewhere that it's gonna it's really gonna
be a an added benefit you know value added so how much does that cost to move it every time we move it um just the moving part and relocate and set up was like 30 something thousand right 20 with the reset with the reset but i think it's only i think we're going to be under 8 000 if i remember right for the breakdown move it here and put it into storage um that includes the tearing down of all the ramps stairs everything else um to set all that up was not part of the original quote either so i think we'd have been probably well over 30 to get set up then we'll have to arrange for power another 50 or 40 for power data all that stuff um you're looking 100 grand probably to
get everything fully set fully set up if we were going to set it up this way we're going to spend eight to move it that was amazing that was your question okay any other questions for me nothing i'll just again uh you know i want to just publicly thank wes for the work he's doing i know adam feels strongly as well we we feel like we're getting a lot of a lot of things that have been up in the air are actually finally starting to be addre you know they're they're getting addressed and while i know wes more than anyone wishes that they would move faster the reality is we're getting movement on them in time frames and in ways that we haven't in the past so i i just wanted to point out publicly
that his update you know he's moving forward on on these priorities and and also managing uh and keeping tabs on things that aren't on the front burner at the same time so it's it's really nice to have him in a in the position as facilities director and still doing maintenance jen and he's still doing maintenance on buses i appreciate the communication yeah that's huge thanks wes appreciate it you're welcome thank you that's huge okay we have the tssa plans do we have time for that so there's the boiler replacement explanation on here too if you wanted to do that the what the boiler boiler replacement south summit elementary school are you talking about that didn't he he did but there's another thing they're doing on it that yeah but that's down in the down in
the agenda i put it up here take it though so i put under master planning so i don't have that okay maybe my i need to let's get to it when we're in the agenda okay um jeff do you want to do you want to go first okay there you go as jeff's coming up i just um miss flinders had a family thing come up and was unable to be here and she offered to go out of her way to either call in or try to zoom in and try to fit that into the constraints of the time that she has and it's just not it wasn't it would be it'd be asking a lot and it would be taking away from the family uh thing that took her away from here so i'll be
presenting her tssa stuff tonight and i'll be brief so last last board meeting i guess when i came here i was um when we were talking about our our trust lens money i made reference to the um to the chart that the state had put out where we were in the top five um for for our scores tied with our money spent so i kind of looked at that like that's kind of like our miles per gallon okay so it's like which of your bang for your buck um on this one i really want to brag because this is our growth score from the past year and so we were number one of the schools that are like us and if you scroll down morgan school district is not really like us um they're a
lot bigger they have a lot more resources and so granite school district or charter side still not much like us um so i'm pretty proud of this number you know to show gross scores like that i think this year is actually going to be better we see a lot of growth now there's caveats we have a small sample size and so a kid has a good day and it swings widely one way sorry that's seldom the problem and you know it can swing back and forth but we when we first came and made this presentation years ago one of the things we were looking for is is growth on our on our you know our student growth scores and that was what we were tying it to and we were looking for a 1.5 percent
and we're far far beyond that so um believing if you could scroll back to the to the tippy top um believing that if it's not broke don't fix it um i just like to keep doing what we're doing we're we're utilizing this capone we are going to add um i'm we i am gonna add to her role this year to to to help her work more at as a as a as a as a coach to sort of introduce that coaching model uh in with our teachers we intentionally have have several young teachers um and i think her mentorship and coaching can can help us continue this growth um and and so we can see the same thing we're gonna do so i'm proposing that we we keep the numbers the same it's fifteen thousand
fifty three eighty seven for miss capone um to cover her extra workload which that's a bargain uh and then three thousand one hundred and seventy three to allocate for summer school funding um because and we we have a significant demand it's not that we're choosy but we try to set a summer school menu that makes sense for our students and we've been pretty successful so it's it's not a something that's everything for everybody but we try to put something out there that that most of the students can access it gives them something meaningful it's we stay true to our mission um and and so that that's where we're looking to go great sounds good thank you and great job that's awesome background yeah i i didn't even know that until we had the the uepc
uh they told me i was like oh that's nice that's good to know so that that made my my debriefing a lot less painful and even though i'm still mad at you for stealing mrs grapon yeah well she's a great one yeah and a great mentor that's going to be an exciting role i i think i think it really will suit her it matches what she's working on in her phd and so it will help everyone extend and i think that's good and and i do think that she she's been such an integral portion of part of what we've done and the model that we've sort of created uh that then it makes perfect sense to to keep her fully engaged it's also grounded in research yeah which is a big deal you know we
we say in our in our valuing you know governing values that we're research based and that's an example of of grounding some of the decisions in in in current literature and in current research so okay you agree okay any other questions any questions anybody has for jeff no questions thanks jeff okay there's no voter thank you they'll do that in the act it'll be down thank you if if you want to go watch the game i'll text you i'd worry about it i'd really worry about it though do we have time to do the other one you got three minutes two minutes um i can at least start uh elementary miss flinders asked me to to to read this so as far as the summary goes rather than me reading it verbatim the page and
a half that it is i'll just highlight a few things this past year they allocated tssa funds to be used for all-day kindergarten teacher ms martin they have focused they've had a focus to ensure students have the best opportunity for success by june 1 2022 by setting a goal their goal is 79 of kindergarten students to be at or above benchmark according to the acadians reading assessment initial beginning of year frequent and frequent benchmarks and end of year assessments were given using the acadians assessment and um they hit 78 percent one percent below their goal but their 79 goal was quite lofty so it is uh it is a neat it's a it's a neat point to hit um uh there that lisa was you know i think people were were i don't want to
make it sound like more than what it was but a little bummed you know when you get so close to meeting a goal sometimes the hardest thing is you just made it that you know you were that close but i i say kudos to um to south summit elementary school their staff their teachers their paras and everyone for for hitting that high especially in kindergarten they also use the five percent that is allowed for faculty retention and that was to continue to that that helps fund miss minor and [Music] the plan also allowed for funds to be spent in excel for accelerating student growth they had a reading program that was eight years old and was antiquated not effective and didn't utilize the elements of the science of reading so the remaining allocated funds for
this plan were used to help support the purchase of a current research-based program that focuses on the principles of science of reading and it was implemented school-wide so that's the report of of how they use their tssa similarly this year their tssa plan is to increase foundational literacy skills for students and ensure to ensure that staff members are supported in their instructional endeavors so they're proposing that funds be allocated to support half of the cost of a full-time vice principal and half the cost of a kindergarten teacher having a full-time vice principal will ensure that all teachers receive timely coaching and necessary feedback through those observation feedback cycles such feedback and coaching will improve instruction thus having a substantial impact on student growth and success and then kindergarten is is essential for establishing foundational literacy
and numeracy skills ensuring that we have sufficient instruction at the earliest impressionable age is critical so they want to use their tssa for that and the five percent for miss miner again so that's perfect that's it okay we need to have a motion to come out of me yes yeah i think so okay right now we are going to switch gears and we are um going to go out of school board meeting and we're going into a public hearing for uh and we'll get to that in a minute so do i have a motion i move that we go out of school board meeting into public hearing okay we have a motion by mrs whitmore i'll second that as per the new law all in favor aye aye aye aye electronically i have to ask
you each individually if you remember uh linda i mean wendy how do you vote hi deborah how do you vote yes steve yes okay we are now out of um regular school board meeting and we are in for our school boundary public hearing and i will turn it over to the superintendent all right well so as you know we have been talking about school boundary lines for the silver summit schools uh plural so silver summit elementary and silver summit academy in the proposed map that's up uh it's in board docks but also up on the screen it's that same proposed line that we've we've looked at each month that really kind of just runs along the ridge of the mountain and puts students that are to the west of that ridge in silver summit boundaries
and students that are east the one the one little area that uh is a little bit of an oddity is right there by the golf course it doesn't necessarily at a certain point follow the ridge but it's also not be any housing and it still follows a fire road so it it how the lots or how the land is divided uh into the parcels you know how it's owned it's if there's ever housing developed there it's not as likely to negatively impact communities that would eventually grow there you know where sometimes because boundary lines aren't easy and straight you'll have one house that's in one boundary and their next door neighbor is in the boundary of another school and i think the way we've done this it minimizes that likelihood so that's the foundation that's
the basis and and for us to to consider this we've had to include it on our monthly meetings and then also have this public hearing for anyone who wishes to speak uh about the silver summit uh boundary and okay so should we open that up okay we're going to open it up if anybody has any comment public comment pertaining specifically to the proposed boundary of silver summit and silver summit elementary school we'll open that up right now so yes just just for the silver summit boundary sure tell us who you are sam my name is sam applanop from oakley just sheer curiosity um so this this boundary moving forward as silver summit gets built out those those students would be required to go in that to go to those schools as they're built as their
neighborhood school so yeah in utah we have the open enrollment yeah um that that you know the open enrollment law so just like students who currently live here can apply to go to schools in other districts or other in other areas they would have the opportunity to apply to attend schools in the camas valley just like they could apply to attend schools in park city or wasatch or north summit but their acceptance would be based on that application their default would be to correct the schools that are will eventually be there correct is that right oh yes thank you yeah thanks do we have anybody online that would like to say anything there's no video there's nobody online it's just streaming other than our board members so okay so we need this as an agenda
item to vote on it correct there's an agenda item right underneath it we don't need we need to vote and the board in the hearing type on the agenda that's correct there's an agenda item that you need to vote on here and then you can go down close this and go back into your regular meeting right so what do you want to do if there's no other public comment i think we go to a board vote okay and then and then after that vote you would you would go out of public hearing back in back in the school okay um done with public comment so we'll have a motion for the school boundary for our silver summit schools i move that we accept the school boundary update for silver summit schools i need to stay
specifically when there uh let's propose hey i have a motion by mrs radke second i have a second by mr hardman all in favor hi hi hang on steve steve how do you vote yes deborah how do you vote yes wendy how do you vote yes okay harry none we are that passes passes okay we need a motion to come out of public hearing i'll make a motion to come out of public hearing okay we have a motion to come out of public hearing by mrs whitmore do we need a second by mr hardman all in favor hi hi steve how do you vote [Music] deborah how do you vote yes wendy how do you vote yes okay we are now out of the public hearing and we are do i need you to just
start it or yeah i think you just started okay we are back into uh our regular school board meeting and let me explain that why we did that to some people they passed a new law that says when you have people electronically you have to ask them individually how they're going to vote you can't just say an i or a yes or no you have to if they're not here in person you have to ask them how they do it because we can't see how they voted so that's why i had to ask each one okay moving on do we want to what's that we could you want to throw a public comment on in front of all the agenda items we can you okay with that yeah okay um we're gonna make a little
bit of a switch to help some people in the audience here instead of going into all of our agenda items we're going to start off with public comment and we have uh to sign up for public comment emily perry on a school safety plan they show up i don't know no yes she didn't show up so we won't worry about that public comment or what what's that go ahead do you want her do you want me to be the streamer tonight you can all right and our second person that signed up is mrs eubanks well we're out for the summer it is yeah okay everybody knows who i am and uh you uh oh that doesn't move um you know i come to these meetings a lot because i love the kids that's my biggest
thing why i come i have lived at the school and they have gone past my house the kids coming and going to school for almost 40 years and i love to hear them come by the house and laughing and joking and we've got some very patriotical kids i i have had kids come by in groups of the class when they go on school trips middle school elementary school and they all are screaming i'm out there working in the yard and they are saying usa usa we love your flag we love your flag the whole class the whole class and that feels so good so i am here because i'm worried about school system throughout the whole united states not only in our community i feel that this school in the united states and it's coming
to the small communities it hasn't hit us real hard but we are being hit and i feel like god has been pushed out the front door and the devil is coming in the back door and it has been left cracked to allow him to come in and it's up to us to stop that from happening and if we don't speak up and say what's on our mind or what we are afraid of that can happen if you erase history it will only repeat itself if the history is not learned and you use that history for your own benefit to keep bad things from happening because we've learned from it then shame on nuts so i just heard we do not have anyone on the whatever that thing is to zoom so i am here because
i myself and other parents that i've talked to and other people in the community has commented that they were very um disappointed and not happy with way the graduation of class 2022 was conducted and the days or the week leading up to the graduation they are issues that have been brought up and concerns about the graduation and the activities that were planned for graduation and this is not the forum to bring up what those issues are and what's and there's several they're not just one there's several and this is not a form to do it so what i'm asking you um one minute okay one minute i'm done go for it keep going keep going keep going i'm just telling you yeah in a minute i am asking you to have parents grandparents community call
you and that if you do have enough parents that is going to call and express their concerns about the graduation and what went on leading up to the graduation that we they can hold a private meeting so those issues can be discussed because we do not want those issues to happen again if we don't talk about it if we don't work with each other if we don't understand each other things can't be fixed okay so timer that scared me um that can happen and parents can call that they can be a meeting set up so they can come and express what their issues were about the graduation i think there's always an open door people can always call and schedule a meeting whether it's with me or or with mr jensen uh you know specific
i know we don't typically respond you know we're not supposed to respond i'm just saying anyone can can schedule a time to meet so well you know they want to meet with mr jensen great you know well there's one more thing i'd like to express i hope that this community being the parents the teachers whatever that whoever has issues that they feel that they can come to you without having to worry about they look down upon or they don't just because they don't agree with what they're saying that their ideas or their issues will not be addressed and maybe their kids might be punished for maybe a parent's idea and maybe that would keep the parents from coming in or grandparents from coming in and commenting i hope that the parents and grandparents knows how
important that these kids are they don't have a voice you are their voice and if you can't stand up and talk for them shame on us so and if that meeting isn't set up you know i'm going to be in well it's okay okay all right thank you all all right we'll talk to you later thanks i'd like to acknowledge that um boardman are yeah can we talk board member blazard has showed up the time is 18. welcome thank you happy birthday thank you your birthday today two days ago oh happy birthday thanks we offered we offered balloons but it's all good he said no thanks cupcakes i didn't have a granola bar that's healthy all right let's move on to uh agenda items yep it's working um we're on our consent calendar um i
don't know if steve has access to it i hope he looked at it prior wendy do you have access to the consent calendar did we lose wendy no she just went off camera yes i do okay are there any questions on the consent calendar [Music] okay i know i was saying that you're gonna have to still make the motion we can't get away from that i can still do that whenever everybody's looked at it and they're ready to go hang on a sec steve are you ready or do you want to look at it do you have questions no i i'm good okay steve hey i make a motion that we adopt the consent calendar to include the policy 5081 employee ethical standards and codes of conduct the two out of state ffa troops the
other highest which is christopher brown is the assistant principal the teachers the ssafc hires the financial reports and payment requests for may 2022 check summary may 2022 revenue report may 2022 expenditure report meeting minutes of may 2022 meeting minutes the may 12 2022 closed meeting minutes and the may 23 2022 work session minutes thank you steve i have a motion by mr hardman a second i have a second by mrs blazard all in favor hi hi wendy how do you vote yes steve how do you vote all right okay passes moving on our tssa plans we have had them both presented did we have any questions any comments on that okay we need a motion i'll make a motion to approve the 2023 silver summit tssa re uh plan and the south summit elementary tssa
0512023 plan okay i have a motion by mrs blazard second have a second my mrs radke all in favor hi steve how do you vote hi wendy how do you vote hi okay tssa plans are passed our next agenda item is the gristmill house restoration if i looked at that i did did you have a chance to look at that uh yes i did um yeah okay do we have any questions on that okay hearing none hoping for a motion do we know which one we're going with or it'll be a low bid i think it yeah it'll be they'll submit the bids and then we will submit these the bits yeah these are the bids so the b it'd be the b and r restoration and renovation okay i just have a question i
know typically we always go with the low bid but do we make sure that we've checked workmanship i mean low bid isn't always the best bid in the long run but do we vet it do we look at you know past projects get referrals that type of thing adam yes yeah we'll we'll do a little bit more research just to make sure but we wanted to present to see if this is really what you want us to do right now um and we do have these two bids we tried to get another one but it fell through so we do have two and we can do some background checks into some of their previous customers just to make sure but right now we would be leaning towards being our restoration and renovation and if you
look at their bid they are very very detailed yeah i like that about there they spent a lot of time and we're very professional and and we feel pretty comfortable with what we've uh you know the time we've met with them so but i haven't checked references yet so really you're looking for approval to spend those funds to go ahead and proceed do you want us to do it or do you not want us to do it what are you guys thinking i think it's a numbers fairly inexpensive way to move forward providing a house for future employees or current employees well in the state of the market and the state of everything right now okay so we need to uh do the motion for the bnr correct if that's do we want to do
it specifically for them or just approve the release of funds because yeah depending on what you guys find out we could do that i think we just approved the funds because if they may come back and say hey it doesn't fit in our schedule and then you have some flexibility okay let's do that okay all right let's have a motion i move that we move forward with the gristmill house restoration and approve funding okay i have a motion by mrs radke do you want to say how much yeah okay can we please um put a cap on it i think we do 125 at least which is what the higher bid was just so if we have a backup plan maybe up to up to 125 000. okay i would like to amend my motion
okay yeah let's do that go ahead wendy i move that we move forward with the gristmill house restoration with funding up to 125 000. all right i have a motion by mrs radke oh second have a second my mrs blazard all in favor hi hi steve hi wendy hi okay let's can let's go ahead with that item d our south summit elementary boiler system bid so so this one in west step in here if i mess this one up but this is the one where we had an alternate bid and it was for some variable speed pumps and what these variable speed pumps do is they allow us to uh to lower the temperature in in the pipes based on the outside ambient temperature and so there's some efficiencies in getting these pumps [Music] there's
uh there there is a backlog in these pumps so we don't think we're going to get them for how many months did they say wes i know 12 to 14 weeks yeah and so this will be something that we'll have to do after school or it breaks or whatever but my recommendation is that we go forward we're going to replace these pumps anyway next year when we do the the next phase of this project when we're upgrading all of the the controllers in the middle in the elementary school as well and so i say we might as well do it and get the benefit of this the the efficiency of these pumps which hopefully will save us on some power or some some gas bills um so in the long run they'll pay for this
yeah and we're gonna do it probably anyway well not probably we will be doing it the next phase so you might as well get them on order they're probably gonna be more expensive next year anyway so i i would recommend we go forward with um addendum number one which are these two variable speed um pumps and that's the 29 000. that's the 29 700 wasn't it and we need to probably include that 740. all right okay we need a motion dollar amount it's in number two yeah so i'll make a motion that we approve the alternate boiler system bed for an additional 29 740. okay i have a motion by mrs whitmore second my mrs blazard all in favor hi steve yes wendy hi okay let's go ahead with that anna thank you okay item
e superintendent i'm going to turn that over to you okay just some more updating of our policies um some of them are quite out of date this next one was done in 2010 and so this is policy five zero five five employee acceptable use and uh policy three zero one zero internet and technology use they address the same thing they were in two different locations and it was um it was actually a little bit awkward to try to make sense of the two uh so we revised policy five zero five five and combined information that was in policy three zero one zero that still applied um and uh and like i said revised policy 5055 to to have those things in it we also um that would be a name change to employ acceptable use
of technology and resources and then just as attached um i know it's not policy but i think as a board you like to see what procedures would look like behind that policy and so the procedures are also there in board docs so it updates our are older policies to reflect current requirements current trends uh and things like that okay would you like me to go through each of them or do you want to address each one separate i don't need you to okay i don't think we need to it's first reading as far as what go ahead i just i don't know if did you want to like just do a summary is that what you're saying yeah do you want me to do a summary of the three and then just have a discussion
after the three or do you want to discuss after each one whatever you or more comfortable with yeah i mean really what you just said covered the three as a summary for five zero five five oh yeah yeah yeah yeah so you're saying do we wanna vote for five zero five five and then go on to 605 one right or do you want me to do the three and then okay how how intertwined are they um they're they deal with similar they they do a similar context if you just want to highlight the differences and since they're so similar so we should have all read through these so we kind of have an idea but just for transparency in public yeah go ahead so policy 6051 it's a proposed name change from electronic devices to
personal electronic devices and cell phones and we change some grammatical errors and punctuation uh which is nice to have it right in our policy um so not a not a there really isn't that much contextual change there but it is specific for um the uh adults uh in being in the 6000 policies it's it's it focuses on the adults and then policy 60 52 student acceptable use of technology resources the acceptable use of technology resources and policy 3010 similar to the first one um had a lot of the same stuff it was in two different places and didn't necessarily jive with each other 100 percent so i i think uh it makes sense to put it all into one place i think for the ease of of any staff or parents or anyone looking for
it i think the more we can simplify it and make it easy to find the the better and so uh i think i think it's a it's the way to go and then again that's policy 6052 we also included uh the procedure the administrative procedures there for you to be able to see i have a question greg i i'm confused by a comment or something that you said that you said something about six thousand it pertains to the adults but it says sex section 6 000 students personal electronic devices used by students sorry i i flip i flipped that six thousand policy six thousand is students okay i was just confused i was like i think he said adults but it's so stupid i appreciate you i appreciate you pointing that out because as it
was as it was coming out i was trying to pull it back into my mouth thinking that doesn't sound right but you know so no i appreciate it okay and then policy 5032 that we would be retiring well we'd be retiring policy 5032 because of uh policy 5081 that you approved tonight that's good to me any comments okay can anybody figure out how to present this if anybody can you can different do we want to do them all together or separately i thought if they were listed separate we had to do them think that would be the okay simpler way to do it let's go ahead with back up back up to eat in and we'll start there okay i'll make a motion to approve policy 5055 employee acceptable use for the first reading okay
i have a motion by mrs blazard second second second by mr hardman all in favor aye steve how do you vote yes wendy how do you vote hi okay that passes for first reading item f i'll make a motion to approve policy six zero five one electronic devices for first reading okay i have a motion by mrs blazard second second by mrs radke all in favor aye steve how do you vote wendy how do you vote hi okay that will move on that passes item g i'll make a motion that we approve policy 6052 student acceptable use of technology resources first reading okay i have a motion by mrs whitmore i'll second second by mrs blazard all in favor aye steve how do you vote hi wendy how do you vote okay moving on head
passes item f f h i'm glad it's not just me hey move that we retire policy 50 32. they gave me these for a reason okay i have a motion by mrs radke a second by mrs blaser all in favor aye aye steve how do you vote wendy how do you vote hi all right we'll move on from that that passes sorry about that we do have these for a reason i probably ought to wear them more we'll take the it's called old age okay no we'll take the price tag off [Laughter] they just came out of the package right here okay all right i'm just gonna wear them okay moving on information items superintendent update all right um so a couple of things that are here is the silver summit elementary logo if you
recall last month we looked at a couple of different options and miss willoughby took the took the vote so to speak to her staff and her students and overwhelmingly the students wanted this one it there was a little bit of a split there between the adults and the students but this is what this is what the kids really wanted and uh and so this is moving forward this is do you have the other one not not in not in board docs we did last month but i remember it was the it was the wild cat that looked a little more scary scary um so moving forward it's not a wildcat or not wildcat i'm sorry leopard so moving forward this this will be their their logo and um we will be um ordering it already
sweet don already ordered the uh it's true to uh be on the wall and that's what will be with their letterhead and um jody's been working on uh branding for the district office and we're um one of one of her goals is to is to move beyond district branding and and help systematize the branding of all of our schools so that it all conforms with what we have as district and so this will be this will be their their mascot and their logo so um that's exciting yeah me too i think it's great and we own this so we can officially put it on things and then every other year we're supposed to share data from summit county health department as part of our health assurances and um and so this document that that's up
on the screen now you can see deals with some of the things that we that we have to report to to the board these are not specific to our district they're specific to our county and to summit county east as far as pregnancy rates sexually transmitted disease rates things like that child abuse um aces adverse childhood experiences is what aces stands for so as you're looking and you see that ace it's referring to adverse childhood experiences and you can see a comparison there you know of the different types of aces that students in summit county are exposed to and this this data is collected it's um it's it's intended to to share with local school boards with you know local groups um just to bring awareness and and have transparency to the current reality that
we have in our county um it's it's nothing that's intended to be a weapon or you know to be bad or good it's just merely informational and uh and part of that requirement that we have to inform the board and the public at least every other year and and while i believe it was done last year i want to make sure that uh that we are in compliance um the one if you keep scrolling down uh you see summit county uh does not have quite as many of the uh four or more aces uh which is a good thing um you know there's there's pretty much everyone is is above us so i think that that speaks well to um how some of those things are in our in our county then uh up there
are the sexually transmitted diseases and infections this again this is in the county this is not in our schools this is not in our district this is summit county um and uh we're also required to uh report the number of pornographic complaints um and uh so we've been trying to get hold of the county the person who who ran this data and and would put these reports together left the county recently i think we were probably the last report that they sent and so we've been trying to get we've been trying to get confirmation of what that number of pornography complaints is because i doubt that it's zero um so that's that's something that i'll i'll come back and bring back to the board at a later date but i wanted to make sure and
at least get that on the books for this year so i actually think it's good to to share it annually you know as it changes and again this is this is um this is part of of what we do for our health assurances with the state um and then uh just as just informational um the july 7th board training uh i have confirmation from usba that they are available to come they'll be here from 4 to 5 30. 30 board meeting that day in the previous meeting the motion was uh the the meeting was scheduled at six and the motion that was made never amended that so um so board meeting that night on july 7th if we have if we have a need for a board meeting would be at six um usba will
be here from four to five thirty and then if you recall there's also a training that um that adam needs everybody to do for finance so in that 30 minute interim uh or intermediate time we can you know get a a potty break maybe and a drink break and and get it get the uh the budget training nailed down on the seventh correct usb usba yep richard will be here and so will a couple of board leaders and what topic did we choose uh the first one's roll over the board and then yep and then we haven't established what the second one was but as i recall i think the second one that people wanted was uh was robert's rules okay and so we'll probably do that and then lastly um i just just recently
received uh the bid for strategic planning with uepc what it would cost um it did come in it i it came in higher than what i thought it would um but in looking at it and and i'm i uh i've got a time to meet with uepc leadership to just go through all of it to really make sure if you recall in some of our previous conversations about it um if you recall the in our working session we had the table where they they said you know you'd have three to five meetings for this three to five meetings for this and and some of the some of the conversation was around we've had some of those meetings already and then some of the conversation was also uh around the idea of um we've struggled to
to get um community engagement in the process for some of the committees and so um i think some of what i want to talk to them about is uh the necessity you know of the number of meetings things like that if that could be pared down some because we've had some of those you know to to decrease the cost and and then also just the idea um in our principles meeting last week uh five out of five principals are hoping that we'll they need they'll need to have some skin in the game but um adam and i have been trying to look at where we can find some financial support to help principals and schools implement their plans that the staff each staff came up with it's it is from a principal's perspective it's scary
because nothing in your education trains you to do that and and as scary as it could be not saying any board members are worried or scared about strategic planning but if it's not in your normal wheelhouse it can be it can feel daunting and a little scary and and and i feel for i have been there so i feel for the principles they're they're they're tough they're awesome and they're willing and ready to do what's necessary but um they're hoping that we'll be able to to find some additional uh funding for uepc to help them um ideally since they helped with the needs assessment and and one of the things that i like so much about uepc is that they're not for profit right they're based out of the university they're research based and because
they're non-profit they they typically build an exit plan into what they do so that it's sustainable whereas most companies if you know if you if you go with another company they actually have they have a dog in the fight because they they make money and so uh i've always really appreciated and respected the idea that their goal is to make is to help create sustainability where you maybe potentially have you know an assessment done every four or five years or however often if if that was a cycle that we wanted to get onto just as checkups so that the balancing act i would think it's more important to support the principles financially the strategic plan i agree i do agree but i think it's what i think um uh and and i'll bring to our
next board meeting i'll bring specifics with dollars and cents and and some of the different ideas principles uh i asked principals if it was something that they felt strongly enough that they would have some skin in the game as well and all of them said yes to whatever extent they could um but the every one of the schools selected some really high heavy lifting focus areas you know priorities that also happen to have a huge impact on instruction and and academics so that's that's something that i'll bring to you in the in the next board meeting as well so i think there's some anxiety out there as to what's the next step you know how do we get this going how do we not waste this investment that we've already made and get plans in
place and and i think that's where the anxiety is and i think that's where we can come in and help principals and help their teams make that next step to continue with the momentum that we've seen from the needs and assessment so yeah and i think i think teachers are nervous because i've had a lot of teachers ask yeah what does this mean for us how what are we going to do to make sure that we're actually following through with what we say we're going to do you know is it for these priorities and i've had a few teachers ask me well how is my you know how is so-and-so their their principal you know how are they being supported in this as well so so i i appreciate that uh linda that you think
priorities should be given to principals i agree i think it's also important though to make sure that what we're doing is a board for strategic planning and velocity speaker can you hear me okay so i i agree i think i think principles need to be a priority but i also think it's important that uh you know and and this is where i want to be able to talk to uepc about the strategic planning pieces is if we don't close that loop um i think it's something that's easily lost down the road you know and and i would i would i would hate to have a system that we're investing money and time in to uh break down because we didn't tie the tie the bow on it you know we didn't close that loop so
i want to i want to have uh i want to be able to talk to you epc about what that would look like and adam and i like i said we've been talking about trying to find some ways to to make that happen financially and that that'll be reflected you know for the uh next for the finance board meeting yeah and i think if we can't go that way then we just group together as a board and get that strategic plan done i think we can yeah yeah i think we just need and maybe we're to the point instead of segregating out we just work as a group have a couple of long working meetings and get it finished it'd be nice to see an end goal yes and that's where part of what i
want to talk to them about is if we didn't you know what would what would because we've had groups have meetings and that if we were if we were able to take that out would it negatively impact the strategic plan and if if not then what would it be if we took it out you know what how much would that save i think it would be nice to have a professional organization help facilitate the process you know so those those few times as a board if you come together for a working session having the having the the researcher background there i think would help do they i know they this probably comes as a package somehow but is there any way we could pay them on an hourly basis to do something like that that
that is a i'll ask i will ask that be great before the budget hearing right yeah because i i actually their timeline goes clear until next june and we need to get it done in the next three months it'd be nice yeah hey i'd love to have it down in a month yeah let's just summer working sessions hey i would rather do that than contin we can all go to bear lake and just retreat at linda's cabin nice and get it done where no one's leaving until it's all printed on one sheet yeah there we go yeah so i'll bring that back to you i'll get i'll get that answer i hadn't thank you for that i hadn't thought about seeing about an hourly rate i had thought about a you know a smaller package
kind of thing um i don't know that i ever remember seeing an hourly rate you know in in the past with them but i would i i would guess they probably have something you know so it would be very valuable to have them at some meetings i mean they've got a great background for that but i think we can i think we know what we want and we're on course so if we can get on an hourly or some type of smaller package deal yeah i just think we're to the point too that we just all need to step into all four areas and help and get it done make it happen yeah i love it let's do it they're just spinning their wheels get an end goal let's finish it beyond moved on to
the next thing yeah i feel like we've received an a satisfactory amount of public comment yeah you guys yeah yeah well i think the feedback that they gave us on the five comprehensive needs assessments will be helpful with informing what we want to do especially with the academic side of things but but with all of the areas we have a huge amount of research data now that we can pull from we do we can use that to our advantage yep so thank you thanks greg mr robinson so just uh just a couple of things here um last i think was last board meeting we talked about doing an rfp for the rec center to do something similar that we did with with the educational side to kind of take a look at what we're doing
how we're spending uh our dollars and making sure that we're maximizing profit and minimizing expenses um take a look at market trends do some of that research for us to to compare you know other like facilities and are we are we doing what we need to be doing with the rec center and so this was my first attempt to draft rfp hopefully had a chance to read through it and i would love to hear some feedback if you think we're going the right direction i don't know how much this is going to cost um but we won't know until i submit it and so but i wanted to make sure that you kind of felt like i was going in a direction that you wanted me to go in so that we can we can
proceed and i i think it's you know we've got some great rec center um employees i'm i'm kind of getting a sense that uh that we're gonna have a hard time maintaining these at the current pay levels just you know we're paying lifeguards 11.70 an hour and they can go down and stock shelves for 20 bucks an hour so yeah it's kind of cool it's a lot probably a lot funner than stocking shelves but but again i i think in the near term we're going to have some some manpower issues if we don't really start taking a look at this and and then also looking at the revenue we're bringing in and and seeing if there's a way you know do we need to increase prices which i you know inflation is crazy right now
cost of um you know all the chemicals for the for the rec center and the power and the and the and all that kind of stuff is skyrocketing right now and so i think it would be good to get a professional in that's in that field that can kind of come help us because we're in the education field not in the rec center field and i think that would give us some good data to to make some decisions on and i think that's what we need we say we're data oriented and let's get some data and then we can come back together and kind of see where we want to go so i'd like to pursue that at least get an rfp out saying you know so that we at least see how much it's
going to cost us so and what is the timing i mean i wish we could have this before our budget meeting but there's no way yeah we won't get it i've got some i've got some you know some figures that i've kind of played with this is just a guess um but i think you're going to be in the 20 000 at least range maybe even more use the rfp no no to do the rfp is free but for them to come in and do the work yeah yeah you know what i mean so so again i'm just swagging that but uh again i won't know until i submit an rfp and then we can decide if we want to go forward this year or we wait till next but and i have put a
little money in the budget for it so next year for this next year so any comments anything you want me to change any any suggestions i'm all ears long overdue yeah who do you send it out to does it just go out to like a it'll go out to all um and what what my thought was is is um i'll reach out to some of the other rec centers and see if they've had any consultants so i'll try to get a list of people in that field that that do this kind of work and then i'll send it the rfp to all of them does that make sense and and i have reached out to one in fact that's how i got this rfps i've reached out to one to say hey can you at
least give me an example of an rfp because you know of what you've seen in the past and i've kind of used the their example as a template to kind of but i've tailored it more to kind of what we're doing because we have some differences being a school you know and a dual use facility it's kind of you know it's there there's some differences so anyway are you okay with me for going forward at least getting an rfp so we can see where we're at okay yeah go ahead so one of the one of the last things and and this wasn't on your agenda um but if you recall last board meeting when we had the um the state auditors come in with dashboards and and i think it was superintendent that asked them
if you had if they could do a an athletic spending dashboard and so i wanted to show you to show you that and that that that just came in like yet this morning actually and so i thought oh it might be nice to to show the board kind of and it's kind of interesting data because i think there's some perceptions out there that we cut athletic spending okay so we're gonna go through this real quick so this is general spending and and it starts in and it goes to 2021 and you can see the spike in 2000 i think that was 19. i think that was my first year here we did a lot of investing in equipment and those kind of things and so that was the spike you see but if you look
clear back to 214 2014 we at in general athletics we are kind of slowly increasing if you if you draw that trend line so the the the perception that we have completely gutted um athletics is not true and is that district spending that's just this is all district spending yeah yep so that's that's the general i wanted to go through each team too so um here's football you can see it's pretty flat um as far as what we've spent from district funding in football um here's golf golf is one that we're we're investing in and a lot of that um the golf program in in south summit has grown greatly um and i think um chris has got like 26 girls or something that are that are doing golf and so he's really building that
program so so you can see that we're spending more in golf um in baseball you know there's kind of a trend line through here i i i believe these spikes are equipment years that we've bought equipment um for whatever you know whatever that need is but i'd have to go look and see exactly but you can see the trend line's pretty pretty constant um here's um volleyball look at volleyball you know that's a pretty good upward trend um let's see this is track that's kind of pretty a little bit of a growth trend um softball again growth trend and um wrestling it's it's kind of flat i think there's probably a year we bought some some mats or something but yeah so that was before i was here but again kind of a flat line
um swimming that that's increasing and i think uh mike is doing a great job with our swimming program and and really growing that program as well um and tennis and tennis for whatever reasons kind of taking a downturn and i don't i'll have to look into that one but i wanted to show you some of these things that the auditors are really helping us um uh be able to see ourselves you know a lot of times we're in the forest and we can't see through the forest and so hopefully this will help us be that data driven uh organization that we want to be as we go forward so any any comments i i didn't see basketball i mean you can see the this that's why it is yeah i didn't i didn't see it
either but um again that this is i'll bring that up with her and see why basketball is not on there but they're off the chart they're off the charts maybe we're also hoping to be able to have them help us create some data dashboard around academics as well well yeah this is just the beginning they love us and they want to help us yes yeah they really want to partner because you know i think we might be the only district that's excited about this stuff so um so i think we have a lot of attention and we can kind of probably get what we want but i think it's good data because it lets us see ourselves and and this was the latest that they gave us and i wanted to share that with you
um some good stuff and and it helps with perception too so when you're here in the community we've de-vested in athletics it's not necessarily true we spent 280 thousand dollars in 2021 in athletics well that doesn't include that and that doesn't include basket yeah wherever it is and it doesn't and you know and that's what the district put in so some some good data may help you out as you're talking to community members i thought the orange was this one wrestling i've not broken out on that name yeah i didn't i didn't see it but again i i did this right before the meeting because i just got this this morning and i wanted to show you because i get excited about numbers and data so and they're probably wanting some feedback from us yes
if this is what we're looking for before they spend more time in so yeah it's it's exciting to i like it great it's exciting to have just in time for debra to be done i guess my time my time here wasn't a waste look what i've created in you exactly and that's all i have thank you okay moving on to board items wendy do you have anything yes actually i do all right go ahead so i just have something i wanted to throw out to everyone so when i used to attend board meetings back in the day when i was just an educator an association leader we always had like a time slot or there's a time slot in the agenda to and i know it's we still do the like the student spotlight and
sometimes it's a department spotlight but this was different this was just a chance for um different people it might have been principals i remember one time our kindergarten team came over and we just presented to the board some exciting things that were happening in in our area so i would like to see us add this back to our agenda and especially set up a schedule so that we can hear from all the directors we hear from the facilities director every month which is understandable because there's so much going on with facilities but i would like to you know invite our directors to come maybe once a quarter tell us what's going on in their area um we can also include principles if we want so we're not just hearing about tssa and trust lines but
other fun things that are happening or good things that are happening i just think it's a great way to let us kind of know i sometimes feel out of the loop of what's really happening down at those levels and it would let us know it would let the community know what's happening and i just think it's a way to showcase some positive things that are going on in our district so that's just a suggestion that i have well i i think with the way that we've restructured the director stuff that it it's a great idea because then we get to hear from everybody you know from shelly to brant to tammy to you know all of them come in a couple times a year i know you wes you don't even need to worry about
it you're here all the time you're stuck coming yeah you're stuck but the rest people it would be nice example to me would have been the uh computer stuff yeah it would have been nice to have maybe a heads up a couple months before to say i'm thinking we're thinking of this down the road i'm gonna be coming to board meeting in two months with figures numbers example we have uh you know whatever the other department you know we could get them on a maybe a schedule i think what do you think is everybody okay with that great idea i think a great idea wendy i think it'd be awesome to do it with schools too yeah yeah yeah and then the principals can delegate it if they want but yeah maybe a five-minute deal
or yeah five maybe ten minutes yeah and maybe you just do like once like they rotate one two three four five yeah just twice a year yeah yeah and that's that's not uncommon in other districts to do i think it's great i love that we're small enough that we could get through everyone some districts you know it's unfortunate they're so big oh yeah like you know 44 elementary schools can you imagine right yeah you never did i i did my board you know as a principal i did my board update it was like once every three and a half four years yeah so i think it i think that's one of the strengths of our district thank you anything else wendy nope that's it um oh i do want to say the jo the i'll
me i will be gone i'll be in alaska for the june 23rd um budget one and i'm hoping i can zoom in it's just there's a time difference and you know fishing expedition variables in there so hopefully i can um zoom in on that one and then the july 7th i will also be gone i'll be in wisconsin um if we end up i'll zoom in for the work session at four and then if we end up having the board meeting um i'll zoom into that too that one shouldn't be a problem to zoom in at all okay no problem linda i don't have anything thank you steve do you have anything for us thank you i know i'm good and i can't think of anything that i have at this point so um at
this point we have a need to go for a closed session so we have a need to go into closed session to discuss a some personnel issues and um i'll need a motion for that i move that we go to closed session to discuss personal issues sorry you got stepped on there okay i have a motion by mr hardman i'll second it have a second bye mrs whitmore mrs radke how do you vote yes miss whitmore how do you vote yes mr hardman how do you vote yes miss blazard how do you vote yes and i vote yes we will close our regular board meeting and move into a closed session adam do i stay on this zoom link or will be yes yeah it's only you you too well i think you're the only
