Good evening and welcome to the public hearing for the proposed North Springfield Elementary School Advanced Academic Center. On behalf of the school board, I'd like to thank you for sharing your comments with us. Tonight's hearing is being broadcast on channel 99 and live streamed on YouTube and our and on our website at www.fcps.edu/livestream. The division superintendent has proposed a
002new full-time AP Elementary School Center at North Springfield Elementary School starting in school year 2026-2027. If you are interested in reading the 2025 biennial plan, you may find the link to it on this agenda on BoardDocs. If you are not able to attend tonight's public hearing, but are interested in providing comments, you may contact the board by sending your comments to [email protected]. Speakers are allotted 2 minutes and we ask that you stay within that time limit. The timer will start when you begin speaking and the timer will sound after 2 minutes.
