001Heat. Heat. Clear Heat. Heat. The time is 7:01 p.m. and this December 18th public hearing of the Fairfax County School Board is called to order. Miss Dixit has has submitted a written request to attend tonight's or this evening's meeting virtually due to a personal conflict as she is out of the country and is attending tonight's meeting from Ejan India which I probably didn't pronounce correctly. Um all of those in favor of approving Miss Dixit's request please. All those in favor Mr. Fresh, Mr. McDaniel, Miss St. John Cunning, Miss Lady, and myself. All those opposed, Miss Marin, Mr. Mine, Mr. Dunn, Mr. Moon, and Dr. Anderson. Will the clerk please read the vote? >> That vote is 55. Since it is a tie, technically, we would defer under 22.1-75 to the next meeting, but given that
002this is related to virtual participation for tonight, the motion would fail. >> Thank you.
