down in a hole. >> All right. Um, I would like to call the Brunson Area School District School Board meeting for March 9th, 2026 to order at 6:33. And if we could start with um the Pledge of Allegiance, please. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Erin, if you could do roll call, please. >> Kate here. Roseanne >> here. >> Paul Taylor >> here. >> Marlo >> here. >> Peter >> here. >> Noah. >> Okay. All right. Before we continue, um, just want to, as you can see, we don't have a lot of the board members here. Um, Taylor is under the weather, so he has dialed in. Roseanne is

recovering from a recent surgery, so she is called in. Um Paul Kubernick um had a death in the family, so he is not in attendance tonight, so um please keep him in your prayers, him and his family. Um and then Noah um had um extra >> hours at work. Um so but um we can still conduct business because we do have a quorum and so we will get started. Um and we will start with uh citizen comments. Are there any? All right. Seeing none. Um actually you would have to come to the mic and >> it's not a big deal. That's just so that everyone who is at home can hear. >> So you'll have to probably turn it on also. >> Yep. and you'll have to state your name. >> Hello and confirm that

you are Burlington. >> Hi, my name is Amy Neil and I would just like to say at a as a citizen and taxpayer living in Burlington and loving this community and also being a part of working for our school district. I would love to see um Spanish provided for students through our district, through our school and elementary. And I would just really like to push for that as a district and throughout our state. >> Thanks. >> Thank you. Um any other comments? Right. Seeing none, we will move to reports. Um, any board members um have any reports on workshops or meetings attended? Roseanne. All right, Rosanne, have you attended any workshops or anything that you want to report out on? >> I'm taking that as a no. >> We'll move on. So >> I got

safe, right? >> Um, next up will be superintendent report. Jill. >> Yeah. Okay. There's there's a lot in the hopper since uh the last time that we have been together as a schoolboard meeting. So five pages worth of updates to give from just the last month. So hold your seats everybody. >> Buckle up. >> Okay. So the first one is in relation to dual credit information. So, there were 65 students that attended a flex period session with counselors at Gateway Technical College at the high school to learn more about Star Start College Now early college credit and the Gateway Academy opportunities. This session came about in response to seniors feedback requesting more information about dual credit and career pathways. So, um pretty cool that the staff really took that feedback in and offered that as

a session for students at the high school. Then when it comes to AP statistics, they're they engaged in a real world project. Um, >> its statistics project. >> Hey Roseanne, can you mute your side of the phone? >> Yeah, I did. >> I'm not hear. No, she can't. She's just muted. >> I Yeah, >> I muted her on our side, too. >> We'll just have to remember to unmute her. >> Yes. >> Well, she didn't remember that. >> Oh, me. Okay. So, we're talking about a AP statistics here. Okay. So, um students took Just go like this. How about we be real quiet, right? >> That's weird. >> We'll just We're just going to keep it real quiet. >> Yeah. >> Okay. AP statistics. So they engaged in a real real word world data um

by going into the parking lot and counting how many students park backwards into their parking stalls to determine their confidence interval of parking that direction. How many of you park backwards all the time? I never do that. Confidence interval would not be high. So after gathering that data, the groups analyzed the results and presented their findings to the class. So, I'm curious about what those findings were, but kind of an interesting project for the AP statistics class at the high school. Freshman seminar career exploration at the high school. They also visited Gateways Technical Educ um colleg's healthc care program to explore careers in the medical field and learn about post-secary pathways. There's quite a few things you'll hear in the report today that relate to Gateway Technical College. Additionally, our Spanish 3 students participated in

a culture field trip to Latino Arts in Milwaukee, including a cooking lesson in a visit to the Hispanic supermarket to practice realworld Spanish skills. And Gateway Technical College Fab Lab instructor John Zerin is guiding Burlington High School students through Snap-On and Starret precision measurement. This is teaching them how to use industry standard tools. And by the end of the training, students will earn certifications that enhance their career readiness skills. In the nursing assistant program, we have 10 students who recently completed the gateway nursing assistant course with most of them finishing their clinicals at Oakidge Care Center. Students will complete their final CNA certification exams at BHS in our own state certified lab. We also had some of our high school choir students participate in the opera of the young workshop, providing a unique arts learning

experience and community engagement opportunity. The BHS forensics team placed fifth overall in a large team division at the Divine Savior Holy Angels tournament with several students earning individual honors. The students who were honored was Shannon Bartlesen. She got second place in solo seriousness. Uh Taran Heater got third place in storytelling. Addie Schwockard was the finalist in storytelling. And Dominic Dennis was a finalist in expository speaking. And then the BHS Academic Bowl placed third overall in the SLC uh which was hosted at the Elorn High School. We had three students who earned first place medals in their subject areas. Those students were Reagan Garnett in chemistry, Kira Doyle in geography, and Jimmy Clavis in world history. Also at BHS, the best BHS buddies hosted a creative meeting focused on social connection and inclusion which included students

in a button making activity. Our HOSA is again we're on our second year of having HOSA at the high school. We had multiple HOSA students that qualify for the state leadership conference that is in the Wisconsin Dells. It'll be held on April 8th through the 10th by placing in the top 15 in their competitive events. State qualifiers are EMT Madison Bar Range and Olivia Fliss. In family medicine, Jackson Bailey in physical therapy, Natalie Angelo and path physi physiology is Ryan Demoon. Forensic science, Landon Ringsby and Aiden Sozac. And then health education, Adeline Day, Liam Piccolo, and Brandon Piccolo. So, congratulations to all those students and good luck at the state leadership conference that'll be held at the Kalahari here in April. Also at the high school, we have club red Jen, which is our mental

health club that has recently just started. Uh it's a new club that is focused on promoting mental health awareness and well-being. Uh this during the week of February 2nd through the 6th, students organized a number of activities that brought calm and connection to students and staff. The club organized a dress up day as dress as your favorite self day. future self, sorry, future self. Uh they also had an art session and a yoga session which was a hit not only for students but also for some of our staff. It is also a club that is just a great reminder of the importance of taking time and uh to care for not not only our minds but our bodies. So way to go Red Jen. We also have the educators rising club and that is uh

the club that is encouraging students to go into the field of education. The educators rising students served over 550 cups of hot chocolate at the experience Burlington's hot chocolate fest while sharing information of the about the program to community members. Thanks to Experience Burlington for the invitation and to Kevin Mcwain at Bank 59 for offering up their business space for our students. When it comes to the site of athletics, we had an athletic uh wall of fame evening that honored our 2026 athletic wall of fame and also wall of inspiration inductees. One of them is sitting in this room. So the wall of fame inductees were um Hans Black, Jazz Esman, who is now Brotherin, Ben Hornicle, Reed Oldenberg, and Steve Tenhagen. They were all uh inducted in the wall of fame and you can

see their lovely portraits and a little information about them now hanging on the walls forever at uh BHS. And then we also have a on the wall of inspiration was inductee Zack Lys. So we just they were all recognized during a halftime show of a um high school varsity game. And then we also had a dinner and ceremony over at Veterans Terrace. It was the first year we shifted it to Vets Terrace. Usually it was in the commons area at the high school and it was such a good call to shift it to the vets terrace. Really elevated the feeling of the event and I would say the entire veterans terrace was full of people. It was a really great evening and and good way to um honor everyone that was inducted. So congratulations to

everyone. Additionally, our girls bowling team uh they we are in a co-op between ourselves and Wilmont and they qualified for the state tournament which was in Wasau. And Marjorie Anderson is one of our students who qualified for the girls singled and she finished 11th out of 56 bowlers. When it comes to boys swim, our boys swim team took third overall. And uh at the conference meet, we had several swimmers that earned podium finishes. Uh Parker Roelski, he was the conference champ in the 500 and second in the 200 free. Paxton Pollster was third in the 50 free and one and also third in the 100 breaststroke. And then um we also had a Clayton don't have a last name who also got fourth in the 500 free. So this co-op is includes athletes from Waterford,

Union Grove, East Troy, and Catholic Central. And congratulations to the team on their third place finish. Additionally, we have an ice fishing team and they competed in their state competition. They traveled up to Wasau, Stevens Point area and competed against 90 teams with over 1,000 students. We also had five BHS wrestlers that qualified for this state wrestling tournament, including one of those five being a female, Maggie Sue Hansen. She's our first female wrestler in school history to qualify for state. Also at the state tournament was Carson Kramer, who's a senior. Landon Jacobs, a senior, Pat Patrick Scrunts, who's a senior, and Cash Vanderwolf, who is a sophomore. So, congratulations to the five wrestlers at their state competition. And then lastly for BHS, BHS will present Legally Blonde, the musical, starting March 12th through the 14th.

If you don't have tickets yet to go and see the musical, I encourage you to attend. Shifting uh gears a little bit over to the pack house. So they have been engaging in a weekly cooking groups that focus on meal planning, food preparation, and household management skills in order to build independence and life skills. And it's been uh a really fun and uh joyful time for everybody over at the pack house. Carter is our school that we're highlighting uh K8. uh once a month we have one school that we're highlighting. Carter is this month. There are a few things to highlight there. So one really cool thing that is taking place is that students in Miss Olenberg's class participated in volunteering for the sleep in heavenly peace. It's a nonprofit that builds and delivers beds

to children in need so that every single student doesn't have to sleep on the floor. Alongside building 12 beds, Carter students also organized a bed drive to support the effort as well. So, pretty awesome that the company came in, assisted our students in the in the building of the 12 beds. And then our our students and staff will also assist in the delivery of the beds as well. And then back in November, students raised money for Love, Inc. by donating 75 Thanksgiving dinners to local families. Uh, as a fun bonus, students were also able to raise an additional $5 if they did that. They got to peg a teacher. And those teachers that they got to peg were dressed up in as inflatable turkeys who then were able to get, uh, be pelted at with

dodgeballs during lunchtime. So, uh, kudos to the staff for stepping up to that. Lovely costumes there. Hey, at the middle school you do, you know, >> gotta do gotta do what you got to do, right? And then also in the area of STEM, we had students in Miss Eulenberg's class again participate with Vessel Construction to design and build doghouses for members of our local community. They worked alongside industry professionals and their instructor as their instructors. students were able to apply engineering, math, budgeting, and construction skills throughout the full design to build process. And we just want to thank Vessel Construction for the support as it was super authentic and so career connected to learning experiences for our students. They are almost technically large enough that we could shift them into the 4K classroom, but a

little bit still too small, but they're they're look pretty legit. You're living the good life, man. >> Yeah, those are some nice dogghouses right there. Um, that is it for my superintendent report. >> All right, thank you, Jill. Um, next up on the agenda, excuse me. Um, is the consent agenda items, which consist of board minutes, items brought forward from committee meetings, and other consent agenda items. One motion will cover minutes and other consent agenda items. Um, I would like to call for a motion. >> I'll move to approve the consent agenda items. >> Second. >> The motion has been seconded. Um, any discussion? I'll just quick thank everyone who's retiring and and resigning, especially I know Teresa for us here from Dyer. So, I thought I call her out and embarrass her. Thanks for

all your service. >> All right. Um, any other comments, discussion? All right. I'll call for a vote. >> Hey, Rosia. I'm just trying to get her back on the call. Sorry, you're back on the call. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> So, I'll go ahead and call for the vote. Um, this does not have to be a roll call vote, I don't believe. No. >> Um, all in favor say I. >> I. >> With Taylor. We have four. So, I think we have a quorum. >> Opposed. Hearing none. The motion carries. >> Roseanne's vote was silent. >> And, um, next up is items for discussion. So, we have um the Dyer Elementary School team here. So, take it away, Rebecca. >> Okay. Good evening. Thank you for having us here to talk about Dyer. I'm Rebecca Benedict.

I'm the principal. This is my first year. so lucky to get to work with all of these amazing people every day. Last month, Annie was here and shared Waller's scorecard. So, today we're going to kind of build on that with our format or with our scorecard. So, we're not going to share everything about it, but highlight some of the key points. Um, and then again, like acknowledge our amazing team that's here. Oh, I have the next one, too. Sorry. Okay, there we go. Um, so this is what I said. Um, you have the full scorecard in front of you. So, we're just going to highlight a few of the different things. I'm Lori Faber. I'm one of the special ed teachers at Dyer in 2024 25 report card has enrollment at 395 students. We have

a strong attendance at 98.3%. Approximately 39.2 of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch and 27.8 receive special education services. These data points help frame the importance of our layer academics and behavioral supports that we ensure every student is successful. I think that was page one. This is still page one also. Um so Dyer earned a state report card score of 81.8 placing us in the exceeds expectations category. Um clearly reflecting strong work by staff and students particularly in English language arts growth and math achievement. And this success is really a direct reflection of the work happening in classrooms, small groups and intervention spaces every day. Um both our teachers and our inner and our pair of professionals are incredibly committed to all of our students that we work with. Um and then as

we celebrate the success also continuing to focus on continuous improvement and targeted support for all our students. Um here you can see on the left um that students at Dyer continue to demonstrate strong prog progress in English language arts. Our goal on our school action plan is to move from 55% proficient to 60% proficient on the forward exam for students in grades three and four. So coming up very soon. And to support this work, we have implemented several action steps. So practice with I Ready. Um staff have are finishing case to literacy training. Um we have tier 2 supports during our boost time every day. Continue to progress monitor students and then we have a common planning time for um teams every week. In math um students to continue students continue to perform well above

state averages with positive growth trends. Um, our school action plan goal is to increase proficiency in math on the forward forward from 62.9% to 68%. So this we're working on targeted math intervention using I ready and fastbridge data to monitor student progress um flexible instructional groupings and again that common planning time for teams. So this progress refle reflects strong collaboration across grade level teams and supporting support staff who are continuously using data to adjust instruction. My name is Amy Murray. I am a second grade teacher and in addition to the academics that Rebecca referred to for ELA and math, we are also closely monitoring our student experience data over at Dyer. Um, currently the score for the category, I like going to my school each day, the current score is a 3.24. Our goal is

to reach a 3.44 next time. And to support the work, we are focusing on quite a few initiatives. We have our be a good human recognitions, which we um do schoolwide at our trimester assemblies. We display them on our lobby TV for visitors to our buildings and all grade level students to see. We are continuing to put a big emphasis on our morning meetings. Um the morning meetings help us build those relationships with our kids and kind of set the tone for the day. We are continuing with buddy classroom connections. Older students um partnered with a younger classroom. We are teaching them um how to create new friendships, how to experience different life skills with the older kids, helping the younger kids and also hoping those older students are being good role models. We are

looking for intentional ways to bring fun into the day. This past week, we celebrated schoolwide uh national Oreo Day. So, something a little fun, a break from academics, and the kids loved it. We are increasing Eddie the Wolf's visibility in the building. So Eddie the Wolf is our dire mascot. Um schoolwide celebrations and assemblies that are also sponsored through our PTO. And then um last but not least, we cannot forget our positive school environment is due to the teaching staff, the paraprofessional staff and the kids hard work every day and our um new administration. And we constantly live by the rule of the dire way is the way while you're at school. Supporting staff is a top priority at Dyer because we know when adults are are supported so are the kids and they are

they become successful as well. As we focus on it improving, we have two key areas. Helping staff maintain healthy work life balance and giving meaningful input in decisions that affect our work. To support this, we are conducting regular staff check-ins, sending out feedback surveys, creating more opportunities for the staff to give input on scheduling and building decisions. In Mrs. Benedict's first year as a principal. She has made it a priority to listen to the staff and build strong systems for ongoing feedback. We are thankful for Dyer's collaborative culture and proud of the professionalism and the flexibility and the dedication our team show every day. Okay. My name is Emily Batisti. I am a 4K teacher. Um, family partnerships continue to be a strength and an area of focus at Dyer. So, our current score for

positive communication home is a 3.6 and our goal is to increase to a 3.75. To support this goal, we are sending weekly positive messages and newsletters through Parent Square. Um, which has really been a fabulous way of communicating with our families now throughout the district. Um, and we continue to expand our family engagement opportunities through school events, PTO partnerships, and our community connections. Um, and I just wanted to list some of our activities that we've done at Dyer so far this year. So, we did dire camp learn a lot which is um we did some flashlight reading. We had some math and literacy activities. We did a veterans day program. Our PTO is fabulous. We did a glow party. We had popsicles with the principal. We had a trunk or treat which actually brought a

ton of community members. The line was like down the sidewalk and around the block. um our music performances. We're going to have a field day at the end of the year. Um and something unique to Dyer is we obviously have all of 4K there. And something that 4K does is we have monthly or by monthly family involvement. So we get a lot of families that come into the 4K rooms and we do a lot of activities in our rooms for 4K families. So we get a lot of family involvement at Dyer which is fabulous. So strong homeschool connection is a priority for Dyer and um we work really hard to increase our goal. You can see one of the pictures up there is the a family at the trunk or treat and then we have

another family here at flashlight reading. Um so looking forward we have clear areas that we're focused on. So, continuing to strengthen ELA achievement through targeted instruction and progress monitoring. Um, increase student belonging through our culture work, support and elevate staff voice, and then continue to deepen those family partnerships. Um, again, I feel really lucky to be in my first year, but to be here with all of these amazing staff members, um, and those that are not here as well that do a fabulous sta job. And as Amy said, we continue to live the dire way. um being respectful, responsible, and safe while continuing to focus on student success. So, thank you for your time and your support of Dyer. Questions? >> I don't think I don't have any questions. >> I don't >> um definitely

enjoyed >> Definitely enjoyed um spending the hour um talking with your staff. So um it was very informative and we appreciate every one of you. So thank you. >> Give me a second. I'm sorry. >> No worries. Take your time. All right. So, the next item on um the next item for action, I'm sorry, are the items for action. The first one is school board uh board of canvasers. Um which is the approval that the school district clerk Paul Kovnik select the date and time and appoint two qualified electors of the school district along with one additional qualified elector to serve in the event of temporary vacancy who together with the district clerk shall constitute the school district board of canvasers. Um, should we table that or >> No, to be >> I think it's

okay. Uh, we are recommending that we utilize Pamela Bower, Terry Bryant, and Rachel Owens. They're all people that work here at the district office and are also residents of the district as uh the three that would assist Paul with uh being clerk. Paul also has already chosen a time that works for him. 7:30 in the morning on Monday, April 6, 2026. So, we would just need a motion to approve those uh members to serve as the board of canvasers. >> All right. I will call for a motion to approve those individuals identified um as well as >> as well as the time um agreed upon or stated by Mr. Coburn who is the board clerk. So, was it three canvasers that would serve? >> So, it's really two that are needed. Um, we have three

just in case one is absent. >> Okay, sounds good. Um, I'll move to approve the um canvasers that were stated before by Jill and the allow Paul to set the time and date. >> Second. >> The motion has been seconded. Um, any further discussion? Hearing none, I'll call for a vote. All in favor say I. >> I opposed. Hearing none. The motion carries. Thank you. The next item, excuse me, excuse me, will be the Burlington High School Start College Now and Early College Credit Program for fall 2026. >> Good evening. Um so the um past fall data from last um this past semester, fall of 2025, we had 20 total courses taken at Gateway. You can see the grade breakdown there is uh nine A's, five B's, and six C's. We had three courses taken

at um W Milwaukee. We had one course at W Parkside and three at W Stevens Point. in all of those courses, those students earned an A. Um, one thing I do want to talk about is going back and looking at the total amount paid. Um, this past se fall semester. Um, last year when I came to to speak with you about this, the projection was $23,155. Um, and you can see that BASD paid well under that for a total of $13,28646. Um, I think that's important because even though we have um students that sign up for it, oftentimes they'll back out for various reasons, they may sign up for multiple classes and then realize they're only able to do one or two. Um, so it usually does fall well under the projected number. So, I

think that's just important to highlight. Um, additionally want to highlight the the cost of textbooks. um because though we don't have that prediction for the future, just kind of want to give you a rough number um for what we paid in the past and this past fall was $1,46128. Um Gateway is incorporating book fees into their cost. So that number actually might go down as well uh moving forward. Um future requests, we had 35 students request a total of 48 classes at seven different colleges. Um Gateway, the projected number of credits is 62 and the estimated cost per credit iss $170 for a total of $10,540. Um so that's our start college now program. early college credit. Uh the different universities are Marquette, um WMadison, W Milwaukee, W Parkside, W Stout, and W Whitewater. uh

with varying um estimated costs per credit, but 69 total credits over those universities totaling uh $10,700 um for a total of 131 credits over both programs with an estimated cost of $21,240. Uh again, book costs are not um considered in that. However, Gateway is um starting to incorporate the book cost, but the the other colleges for our early college credit program um does not have that in that total. So, those would need to be covered as well. Okay. Anyone have any questions? All right, Peter. >> Nope. >> Okay. All right. Um, I would uh call for a motion to approve the VHS Star College now early college credit program for fall 2026 as presented. >> Yep. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> All right. The motion has been seconded. Um, any further discussion?

Hearing none. Um, call for the vote. All in favor say I. I. >> I. I opposed hearing none. The motion carries. All right. And then the last item for action is the policy second readings for board approval. Um as a policy change, just wanted to um remind everyone that um the committee the policy committee um is handling the first reading. Um and then of course the board the full board gets um the information and if we've got any further discussion we can have that prior to um approving the second reading. So um Jill um in Paul's absence would you please go through these? >> Yep. No problem. So this is again this is the second reading. So if there is a policy for any reason that a board member would want to review again, it's

important that a board member were to say that it should shift into the next meeting. Otherwise, they are approved um after this evening. So the first one is 2510 adoption of textbooks. The only change there is assistant superintendent to the director of teaching and learning. And then uh policy 2531 and 25 2605. Again, that also is just getting rid of assistant superintendent, changing them to superintendent in two different places in each of the policies. So, very simple grammatical kind of things. The next one is policy 9151, use of cameras and other recording devices in locker rooms. It has been recommended by Niola to change some of the language and add language that includes that this policy applies to media and school newspapers as well, that they cannot record or be in uh locker rooms. So

that has been added to the policy. There's also additional language to include any area being used as a changing room and not just those that might be coined as a locker room. And then the last policy with any changes to it is 8700 or I'm sorry 9700 relations with non-school affiliated groups. There was added language to recommend which has been recommended by our legal council to include non-approval of activities or materials proposed by outside user groups that make distinctions on the basis of a protected classification in a manner that might be contrary to board policy 2260 which is our student non-discrimination uh policy. Additionally, the adding that this policy shall be implemented in a viewpoint that is very neutral in manner. Then we also as a policy committee reviewed the fi the additional five policies

that I'll read in a second. All of those policies had no changes to them. They were just as you know we read seven policies per month to ensure that every policy is looked at within a span of five years. So these five policies were in that list but there were no adjustments based on the committee. So the first one was 20 2623 student assessment 27.01 student performance and accountability report cards 20 5520 disorderly conduct 5720 student activism and 9700.01 advertising and commercial activities. So, we would be looking for a motion to approve the changes as presented. >> Um, sorry. I call for a motion to approve the >> move. Um, >> second. >> The motion has been seconded. Any further discussion? Hearing none, I'll call for the vote. All in favor say I. >> I.

Opposed. Hearing none. The motion carries. >> And then additionally with policies, uh there is a second set of policies that you'll notice in the list. Um those are separate um only because this is the this is the last board meeting where uh the policies are kind of going to be different and moving forward it will all just be seen as second reading. So, this entire set here that um we're going to look at next or discuss next is all the policies that Paul already read to the school board at the last board meeting. So, we don't need to reread all of these. It is just now second reading for these at this board meeting. And then moving forward, what I just did will be the new format moving forward. This is just to catch up

both months at the same time. Does that make sense? >> Yep. So just a motion to approve those policies as well. >> I make a motion to approve the second reading of the policies that we already had a first reading on at the board level. >> So moved. >> Second. >> Kate second. >> Oh, I >> I moved and Kate second. >> Yeah. All right. Um so any further discussion? Hearing none, I'll call for the vote. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Hearing none. The motion carries. All right. So, next up on the agenda is school board school board committee updates. Um Kate, I will start at your end. Um the board governance committee met on February 16th and discussed what was shared recently from the SWSA um meeting a lot of

information regarding um how how the legislature and the legislative session um is shaping up or is is wrapping up rather and taking a look at um options that are being presented at the legis legislative level to ease property taxes and more adequately fund public schooling. Um, additionally, we discussed the importance of board member onboarding and conduct and we determined that um a board workshop after April's reorganization, so a workshop in May um would be appropriate where we focus on board norms and we review onboarding documents for all board members. Um, collectively the feeling was also that this could be a good refresh every year. So that's what we discussed in the board governance and communications meeting. >> Okay. >> All right. Thanks, Kate. Um, Jill is going to I guess we'll have you do the

policy committee as well as the teaching and learning one. Um, if there's anything you wanted I did not go down this list. I didn't go in this a particular order. So that's my fault. So, if there's anything you wanted to piggy back off of the SWSA as well, feel free. >> Okay. Um, and I can hit the Noah. Um, yep. Also, okay. So, policy met on February 25th, 2026 to review the policies that were on the agenda that we that you all just approved. Then, teaching and learning met on February 9th. So, that was talked about at the last board meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for March 13th with a focused on what we do across the district when it comes to district assessments. Uh not necessarily at the state level, but more so

internal assessments that we do. And then the personnel committee met on uh March 4th virtually and discussed appointments, retirements, and resignations. There was also a close session to discuss preliminary notices and non-renewals and any terminations. Right. Um, Peter. >> Yeah. Uh, finance. Um, well, we we had a full board workshop related to finance. Um, and we talked specifically about community ed fund 80. Um, and then the planning for the next operating referendum. um our fearless financial leader Tyler Doulstad was there along with Todd I don't know his last name from Baird but they gave really good information to the board about um use of fund 80 um as a thing that maybe the district has not done enough in the past and we're going to do more in the future. Um and also we had

a great discussion about planning for the next operating referendum which is around the corner. Thank you. Um the buildings and ground committee has not met. So just give a recap of what we're doing in that regard. And then um from there we would schedule a meeting uh once there's a need for it or upon request for the buildings and grounds committee. >> Can

I add one thing too about the uh the board workshop on the 26th of February? I was appreciative too. We've had some board candidates show up. Mario's here. 047move into co close session, um pursuant to Wisconsin statute 19.851c 851C to consider employment assignment and transfer of district staff, discuss potential additional staffing positions and an employee disciplinary matter. Um, so I call for a motion to move out. I'm sorry. So I'll call for a motion to move into close session. >> So moved. >> Second. >> The motion has been seconded. >> Um, all in favor say I.
