Heat. Heat. A nice heat. Oh my god. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Everybody knows. Good afternoon and welcome to the 2026 Senior Awards Ceremony. We want to thank you for gathering here today to celebrate our seniors and all of their accomplishments. At this time, I'm going to turn it over to Miss Casey Evans, our student council president, to welcome everyone. [applause] >> Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the senior award ceremony. My name is Casey Evans and I'm honored to be standing before you today as the student council president. On behalf of all the students here, I would like to thank all of the scholarship committees, donors, staff members, families, and community members who made today possible. Today is a celebration of hard work, dedication, and the bright futures of the students being recognized. Scholarships are more

than just financial support. They are opportunities. They represent encouragement, belief, and investment in the next generation. Every student here has worked extremely hard to reach this point and today we celebrate not only their achievements but also the people who supported them along the way. To the scholarship committees and donors, thank you for your generosity and commitment to helping students pursue their goals. Your support truly makes a lasting impact on our lives and our futures. To the families, teachers, and mentors in the audience, thank you for the countless hours of guidance and encouragement that has helped shape each student sitting here today. And finally, to my fellow students, congratulations. Be proud of everything you have accomplished. This recognition reflects your determination, leadership, and perseverance. No matter where your future takes you, remember to continue working hard,

supporting others, and making a positive difference in your community. We appreciate all of you for being here today, and congratulations once again to all of our scholarship recipients. Enjoy the ceremony. Thank you. [applause] [applause] Hello everyone. My name is Kathy Le Fever and I'm the president of St. Creek Arts and Recreation Theater Corporation in St. Creek and um I've been on the board for 18 years and about six years ago we decided to since we were finally solvent to do the thing that we most wanted to do and that is to start awarding scholarships for for kids that have ex um love of the of theater art and hard work And for the people in the audience, I believe the juniors have been invited and and parents and grandparents, if you have a younger child

that would would like to apply for the scholarship next year, please realize that you may have experience in some of those things in the high school. And if you think you might want to go into any of those um uh disciplines, we are very liberal. And if you we've had people who have been architects, folks, um dance, the graphic arts, um uh singers, dancers. So, please take it into consideration. A lot of you have this the aptitude. If you've gotten good grades, you um can fulfill these scholarships, but we only ask for a 2.5 average. We we wanted it to be open to a lot more children. And I sent out five to five different schools. And this year we only got five applicants from five different schools. And I want my job to be

harder. We want to have more people apply for this. But you realize that is only like three paragraphs. And if you fill everything out correctly, it may be is a, you know, an hour of your life that you might be a good possibility of getting $2,000. So the most important thing that you have in your arsenal is to apply for the scholarship. So next year, please do that. We we would love to make our jobs harder and have lots more people to um apply. So this year we are giving our scholarship to Bailey Hayes and um she's going into um art education. So, I want to congratulate her on her $2,000 scholarship. [applause] [applause] Hey, good afternoon. On behalf of myself, Mr. Osborne, and Mr. Ray, I'm here to present the social studies award. This

year's recipient of the award had we had a lot of great candidates. Uh but they stood out because of their interest in enthusiasm engagement in all the the breadth of social studies classes. This student not only showed passion in finding out the answers to problems but also shared frustration of the current political climate and shared his ideas on how to change it with critical debate with others. This year's candidate has embraced the subject of social studies and has played in active world class discussions and debate. He truly embraces the idea of the importance of history and how it'll eventually repeat. He embraces the importance of being a world citizen and he embraces the importance of being an educated citizen of CW Chekch Wisconsin and the United States. This year's award winner for social studies is

Broadre. [applause] Good afternoon. We are here today to present four scholarships in memory of our dear friend Nicole Schmidt Vanhacker. The recip the recipients will be attending a co college to pursue a degree in healthcare and carry on Nicole's passion for helping others. Nicole is a graduate of CHITCH High School in 2000. She attended college in Lacrosse at Western Wisconsin Technical College. She earned her degree in radiology. She then worked at Rochester at Mayo and later in Waspa at St. shows finally in Oaklair and Marshial Clinic. Nicole had the perfect balance of skill, compassion, spunk, and humor. She was an amazing coworker and friend. In January of 2013, just 3 months after getting married, she was diagnosed with leukemia. She immediately began began chemo and later had a cord blood transplant. It will be 12

years ago on May 23rd that we lost Nicole secondary complication of treatment. We have created a yearly golf outing in memory uh with proceeds funding this these scholarships. This coming August will be our 14th annual golf voting. We have also had a big day tournament in more recent years. We um hope to continue building the scholarship every year, passing on a piece of Nicole's spirit for the next generation of healthcare providers. This year we are presenting four,000 scholarship awards. Uh this year is especially um meaningful to me because um these are a group of kids I know very well. Um the first recipient is Alyssa Cameron. >> [applause] [applause] >> Uh, the next recipient is Ethan Brown. [applause] Uh, the next recipient is Luke Anderson. [applause] And last, but certainly not least, Kelsey Pulson. [applause]

[applause] >> [sighs] >> Good afternoon. I'm Mark Bowers. Um I'm the district 9 director for Baron Electric and it's a pleasure to be here representing D electric cooperative today. As a cooperative bar electric is more than just a a provider of electricity. We are your neighbors. We're owned by the members we serve committed to making a difference in the community we call home. One way we live out that commitment is by supporting local students through scholarships. These scholarships are funded through the Federated Youth Foundation which administers unclaimed cashback credits from former members by law. These funds can't be used to reduce electric rates and instead are directed towards education and other community uh focused initiatives. So, it's my honor to present $1,000 scholarship to three individuals here today. I'm going to hold that for just

a second and talk to Virginia for a second. How many of you want $1,000? Free. Free money. Okay. Remember us for next year. Our scholarship system is you fill out an application. Really simple. It's one page to select the draw and the odds are less than one in six in terms of you taking that home. So don't forget we we send out letters. We do radio announcements and everything else from about January. Um it's really simple. A grand makes a big difference in your future education programs. So anyway, at this time I'd like Damian Dickens, Casey Hogwin, and Robertson to come up. [applause] >> [applause] >> Good job. [applause] Hello, I am Selena Sapprider and I'm representing um Baron County Office on Aging and our Meals on Wheels program. We have quite a few young

people volunteer to help us out this year. So, I'd like to present these certificates of recognition to Luke Anderson, Jr. [snorts and clears throat] Beckle, Amy Becker, Lillianne Bowers, Ethan Brown. Alyssa Canon, Casey Evans, Evan Boss, Noah Hley, Casey Steve, Kelly Johnson, Maline Neil, Hudson. I have to tell you, these kids are absolutely fantastic. And I know that our recipients of the meals truly enjoy seeing for young braces. Damian, hi. I'm not sure if I pronounce that right. Okay. No one else. I think this must be the whole junior or senior class. Elliot, that's it. Thank you so much. [applause] [applause] My name is Mike Leo. I'm a director at Citizens Connected. Um, former grad, class of 2001. So, I was sitting in your chair right there 25 years ago. first class to walk across

the stage in a new gym. It's been a long time, but um uh this year, Citizens is awarding 10 $5,000 scholarships uh through funds from Unclaimed Capital Credits, capital credit donations, and general funds. Uh we've given that $50,000 now for the last three years. We're proud of that accomplishment, and we're hoping to continue it forward. All right. >> Area seniors whose parents, guardians, or foster parents, >> who are current cooperative members were eligible to apply. An outside scholarship committee made up of our members reviews the applications and determines the recipients. We're proud to present three this year to Shep Warehouser High School students. Those um people are Bailey Hayes, Elliot Ring, and Sam Nicholas. [applause] >> [applause] [applause] >> What a great day. I was My name's Clint Miller and I'm a 91 graduate. Back

in the day, a little bit of longer hair than I have today. I like some of these hairstyles, though. Sad to say, this might be you in about 40 years. But what a nice opportunity for the rest of this community. This is a good day for everybody. I am lucky enough to give the scholarship for the Masonic Lodge for 2026. A little bit behind uh some of the things that we do. We have uh several fundraisers. We're helping out people behind the scenes. If somebody calls up and is looking for something, we try to sit there and look out for people, widowers, people that are looking for get their yard ragged or their longer daughters. We try to take care of all the people that sometimes get forgotten. Um, but through all these fundraisers and

pancake feed through the 4th of July, we're able to sit there and muster up some little cash for three scholarships in the area. And I'm happy to present $1,000 scholarship to Kelsey Paulson. >> [applause] >> Hi, I'm Brenda TVA and I'm a member of the American Legion. And today I have two scholarships from the American Legion, Wish Cap American Legion. And this is Robert Matzer with me. He's the commander of the BFW. He wanted to join me today. Um, the first one I have is for Luke Mau. [applause] And the second one is for Damian Mozer. [applause] I'm also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. So I have a scholarship, a $300 scholarship for Luke Wardo. [applause] >> [applause] >> Oh, do I talk? I guess I'll talk. Hey, I'm Justin Larson and I

0152006 graduates of tech here. So I guess that makes 20 years ago. Easy math is helpful in this case. Uh this is my cohort Travis. He is a you are ach graduate. You came over from >> class. Uh we're here representing the fire department. We've got a little emergency services scholarship. Uh the only thing I'll say about that before I let him uh get into it is I think we're all aware by now of the life that was lost uh the young man last weekend uh in a drowning accident. Um I will say that emergency services whether it be EMS, whether it be fire department, whether it be uh you know Fitzgerald back there and his former glory or Sedani over there in his current glory, it it is very rewarding. Um, I don't think

anybody necessarily in their late teens or or early 20s, uh, maybe pictures themselves joining a volunteer fire department, uh, right? You do when you're little. Everybody wants to be a firefighter when they're in fourth grade and in fifth grade and then that sort of trails away and it's a lot of work. It's it's a lot of fun. Um, again, very rewarding. It's a great group of people. If you get the chance to uh to maybe sign up and you're in a position where where you could be a helper, the world always needs more helpers. Um I never wanted to do this, but here I am 8 years later talking to you guys. Um keep it on your radar, I guess, is what I'm saying. In the uh in the near future, maybe once you get

somewhere and you get established, you don't forget about um that need, right? That need for for folks to go out and do those, you know, lots of great things uh that unfortunately happen in every community. And I'll stop talking now. Travis, you can take it away. >> So, just to piggyback um we created this scholarship a couple years ago. Uh even though we are a group that primarily works out fundraising and donations and that sort of thing, we thought it was important to try to see if we could find ways to create opportunity and interest in people joining emergency services. Um so with that being said uh we have a young lady who wrote us a great essay who I believe has aspirations to be a doctor and we could feel a lot of the

care and passion uh that she put behind the words that she wrote down paper. Um and that spoke to us great. So, uh, we present the emergency services scholarship presented by the CHITC fire department to Melissa Cameron. [applause] >> [applause] >> I'm K. My wife decided to stay home yesterday. So, but I'm here and I graduated 1965. I represent this senior citizens organization. We'd like to present $1,000 to Holly Per. [applause] Hello, I'm Janice Wilker, the school counselor, and I am going to give out the Lions Club scholarship. Today, we have four recipients, two that are attending technical colleges and two that are attending a 4-year university. So, we'll start with our technical college recipients. Hudson Lindberg, $1,000 scholarship. [applause] Jordan Maze $1,000 scholarship [applause] Alysa Cameron [applause] I'm sorry that's University and our next

recipient attending a 4-year University getting a $1,000 scholarship. Cali Jensen. [applause] [applause] Good afternoon and congratulations to class of 2026. I'm Chris Fitzgerald, director of public relations from Mosaic Technologies in Cameron. And on behalf of Mosaic, it's an honor to be part of today's celebration. At Mosaic, we believe deeply in the power of education and the students who are shaping the future of our communities. Since the start of our scholarship program, Mosaic has awarded up over $155,000 to more than 250 students, supporting both the two-year technical diplomas and the four-year college and university degrees. Each year, we are inspired by the applicants who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership. These two individuals, their hard work, commitment to their community, and leadership potential set them apart, and we are confident they will continue and to

have a meaningful impact in our community. Mosaic is proud to recognize Dave Marco and Noah Nelson as the 2026 scholarship recipients. [applause] Thanks. Each of them are receiving a $3,500. So, thank you. They want us to stay up here because we have one more special award. Um, on behalf of the Rural Federation Service Award and Mosaic Technologies, we are proud to uh award Zaguar another $2,500 scholarship. Her application was one of 60 chosen across the United States over chosen for more than 2,000 applicants submitted. Her hard work, commitment, and demonstrated leadership set her apart in this competitive field. On behalf of Mosaic Technologies, congratulations to Kim Digma. [applause] And on behalf of Mosaic, we congratulate everyone in the room again. Be safe and uh and we're looking forward to your next step in your journey.

Thank you. [applause] Good afternoon. On behalf of school make Cheryl and I would like to thank everyone for having us here today. We're incredibly proud to support our graduating seniors. Want to congratulate each one of you and honor your remarkable achievement. As part of our ongoing commitment to our local communities make us honored to award three $1,000 scholarships each year to graduating seniors incar lake and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the future. Okay, it is our pleasure to present this year's recipients of the Sterling Bank scholarship. The first one, Aiden Becker. [applause] The next one, Elliot Green. [applause] And our third one to Casey Evans. [applause] Thank you. [applause] Hello, my name is Alexa Basmney, CW class of 2012, and I am the president of Roselon PTO. On behalf of

the PTO and PTO's scholarship committee, it's my honor to present our first ever $500 scholarship to Ethan Brown. >> [applause] >> Ethan's dedication of volunteering, mentoring young students and athletes, and giving back to both his school and community truly stood out to us. Congratulations, Ethan. We are excited to see all the things ahead of you. [applause] Good afternoon, CW students, parents, and faculty. Today, my wife and I would like to recognize two students, outstanding students, and honor the memory of Ethan Engel through the scholarship award. Ethan graduated from Jack warehouser school in 2024. He had a passion for both sports and mathematics and attended W Stevens Point, majoring in data analytics and minoring in finance. More importantly, Ethan was a loving and caring person. He had a strong faith and always put others first. One

of his friends recently commented to us that Ethan had a big smile so big that it would swallow up the sun. What a beautiful memory. Although his life was far too short, the impact he had continues to be felt by his family, friends, and community every day. The Ethan Angel Memorial Scholarship was created not only to remember Ethan, but also to support students who reflect the same values he carried with him. Hard work, compassion, perseverance, and the love for our Lord. This year's recipients stood out through their accomplishments, their character, and their dedication to their future goals. We believe they embody the spirit of the scholarship and the legacy Ethan leaves behind. It is our honor to present this year's Ethan Angel Memorial Scholarship to two students, both Ethan Brown and Noah and Carlson. Please

come up to the stage acceptance. [applause] [applause] Hey, I'm Deanna Thompson. I was class of 2015, which uh you guys may make me own, but I own Pinerest Golf Course in Dallas. And uh this is to piggyback off of uh the Schmidi that we do every year at Pinerest. I want to take some of those proceeds and give it to you all. I had some really good uh applicants this year. So, it made it really tough to choose because I've had an all class. I've coached you all and uh it was really tough. But anyway, I've got three people here that uh my wife and I chose. And uh first one's Katie Becker. Next [applause] one is Cameron. And the last one is [applause] Good afternoon. My name is Bruce Jacobs and this is the

third year of the Lynn Jacobs Memorial Scholarship. Win Jacobs Memorial Scholarship was established in October of 2023 following the death of Ryan Jacobs for whom Chekch was always such a special place. Nothing quite locks in how special a place this is. As today when I sit here and I watch a community of this size hand out over a4 million in scholarships to a class of 60. Let me be clear about something. This is not normal. It's not normal for a community of this size to be this generous. I stand in awe of Wisconsin and am honored to we can just be a small part of it. Establish the win scholarship towards fundamental belief that no one who's ever done anything interesting following someone else's path that you have to carve your own path. At base,

we hope the scholarship provides an opportunity to someone who may not necessarily be on a standard path or might have to take a slightly different path or approach to achieve their goals as Ryan appreciate someone being provided an opportunity that he was able to take advantage of. This year's recipient of the Lynn Jacob scholarship and thank thankfully the guidance counselor gave me the pronunciation of this one because I would have used it. This is Jordan Maze. >> [applause] [applause] >> All right, seniors. How are we doing today? I do this every year and that's the uh usually the greeting I get. So, >> I got this big bag of money. Any of you want any of this? Oh, come on. I know 26 of you out there want some of this cuz you all applied

for the scholarships that we have. So, uh in seriousness, uh for those of you that don't know me, my name is John. I'm the president of the Shek Warehouser Scholarship Foundation. I really expected more, you know, excitement out of you guys with my big bag of money. I haven't resorted to using drugs. Um, I got to say this is one of my favorite days. So, I got the big bag of money because guess how much money I get to give up today? $152,000. [applause] Okay. Last year, I think we gave out [applause] like $156,000. So, juniors, I'm going to also talk to you juniors out there. apply for the scholarships because I'm going to give you a little spoiler alert. If you applied through our application this year, you're getting something. Okay, so juniors apply.

I know there was two of you out there that took a number and didn't fill out the application. And now you might be regretting that, but I got I got a bonus prize for you later. So, I'll keep that out there. So, juniors, make sure you apply for these scholarships. So, here's what we got, folks. We have five scholarships that come through our application, okay? It's our own CW scholarship foundation, the Kig, the Cena, the Mo, and then my friend Bruce just gave out the Lynn Jacobs. And those all come through one application. Okay. Now, when you get a a scholarship today, I don't want you to feel like, well, I got the KG, but I didn't get this the CWSF or I got the C. We could have got given a bunch of small

scholarships and spread it out even more, but honestly I didn't want to do that to our treasurer Don Kudson because that is a accounting nightmare. So we're giving out bigger chunks in single name. So if you're getting a scholarship today, it came through our application. Uh you should be very proud and I'm I'm very proud of all of you. So um what else do I got on here that I got to say? So, these scholarships range anywhere from $7,000 to down to $2,500. Okay. Um, all right. So, we're going to start with the KG scholarship. Now, um, this was, uh, donated by Robert and Pauline Kanig, who both graduated Tech and became lifelong educators. They were married for 56 years and traveled the United States as educators and impacted the lives of thousands of students.

They taught uh in Chute from 1958 to 1962. That was even before my time. Uh with a lifetime spent in the field of education, they had no children of their own. And so they wanted to make higher education possible for those who are seeking it. These are $7,000 scholarships. And so I'll read off names here. If you please come up and see over here, my assistant for your certificate. All right. $7,000. Adam Boss, [applause] Aan Becker, [applause] Awaren [applause] Johnson, Casey H, [applause] Dan, Elliot, Randy, [applause] Maline, Leo, And no one else. [applause] [applause] >> All right. So next, uh, we're going to be awarding the actual CHIT Warehouser Scholarship Foundation awards. Now, the scholarship foundation was, uh, was actually established in 1997. So, we've been around a while. Uh, in that time, we've given

out $377 scholarships for a total of $959,000 uh, to this community. So, we're just about at that million dollar mark. And today, I'm proud to say that we're giving away $74,000. Now, this money has come through um our our generous donors and also the fundraising that we do through the Fishy4. So, please get out there and run and walk the fishing for this year. Um and I expect each and every one of you when you're rich and successful and all that kind of stuff to pay that back, okay? Uh become donors back and help out students uh like you that are out there. So, uh I'm going to start with uh $6,000 scholarships. So, the final people come forward. Melissa Cameron, [applause] David Hayes, Ethan Brown, [applause] Casey Evans, [applause] Ky, Kelsey Pson, [applause] Luke

Anderson, Luke Cornero, [applause] and Noah. >> [applause] >> All right. Thanks, guys. [applause] And next, we have a group of $5,000 scholarships also from the Chapek Warehouser Scholarship Foundation. Uh, please come forward. Hudson Lindberg, [applause] Ryan Ryard, and Samuel. [applause] All right, let's hear. [applause] Now, I do have one other $5,000 scholarship, but this gentleman's not here, and you'll probably recognize his name. It's Ryan Zely. Now, you might say, why are you giving a scholarship to Ryan Zely, who graduated last year, and so this is what I was holding in suspense for you. So, those of you that didn't get a scholarship, the CWSF board made a policy this year that um anybody who has not gotten one of our scholarships has the ability to apply for a scholarship in the next two years after

graduation. And that's what Brian did. And so, he's been awarded a $5,000 scholarship. So, if you're sitting out there, seniors, and you didn't find why didn't I do it, you got another chance uh next year and the following year. All right. Um, next to last year, I've got the Cena scholarship. Now, this was dedicated to Emily Cena Moore was her main name, who graduated from back in 1952 and was married to her husband, Roger, for 63 years. They had two daughters and she was always an advocate for higher education. She passed in 2016 and it was her wish to give back to her high school library scholarship. And this scholarship goes to Damian Monzer. [applause] And the final scholarship I've got to give out today is the Mo family scholarship. Um, this is in memory

of Horville and Ruth Mo. They've been giving this scholarship out for oh my gosh, I don't know how long. It's been it's been a long time. Uh, and this is a $3,000 scholarship and this goes to Elise Engel. [applause] So, juniors, don't forget big pack of money, okay? Apply next year. To all you uh seniors, congratulations. And to all of our donors out there, thank you for your support and the ability for a small community like ours to be able to do this. Take care. [applause] Hi, I'm Bob Morett. I'm a technology education teacher here at CW. Each year, Mr. Frederickson and I we we talk about our students that have gone through and taken numerous classes in the tech department, and we nominate one of those students to receive the tech department award. This

year, that award goes to Deon Hall. [applause] All right, we're going to make him walk a little bit less. Uh Devon's got a few other things coming to him tonight, so we're just going to hand those out right now. Uh Devin also completed his NIMS certificate through uh Chiple Valley Technical College. NIM stands for National Institute for Metalworking Skills. Uh he's got a level one measurement materials and safety. Congratulations. [applause] sticking around for one more. So Devin is also in the middle of and I don't have a certificate to hand him right now because he's still working on it, but I want to recognize him for this. He's going to earn his sense level one American Welling Society certificate. It's it's a pretty big honor. There's only a handful of students who complete this in

their four years of education. Means he's done a lot of welding. He's also going to be traveling to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the National Skills USA competition as well. So, congratulations. [applause] About 15 years ago, our amazing school board decided to uh invest in skills education and one of those investment pieces was a HAS CC mission. Since that time, we've been allowed to apply for the the Gene Hos Foundation scholarship grant, and we've received over $30,000 worth of funds from the Gene Ha scholarship foundation. Uh those funds can be used for supporting our skills USA chapter, but the majority of the funds go towards scholarships for students, specifically students entering CNC machine or engineering, manufacturing engineering, uh majors. And so I've got a few different I skipped one here. Here we go. Um, three

students are going to earn this certificate this year in Litw Litweiler. [applause] Thanks guys. [applause] Again with the generosity, we've got a pretty amazing community here at CHITH and one of our locals has started a skill and technical scholarship and it's specifically for students who are going into uh technical college areas. We've got four recipients this year. It's Lindberg, [applause] Damian Lson. [applause] >> Thank you. [applause] I have quite a few. The first one, the Janice D. Dwey Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Jan Dwey who worked in our district for 34 years. The $500 scholarship goes to Adam Boss. [applause] >> I am pleased to announce the Nevin Taylor Scholarship. Recipients of the $1,000 scholarship are Ethan Brown, [applause] Casey Evans, Noah Nelson, [applause] Robert Olson, [applause] and Elli >> [applause] >> Good

afternoon. I'm here on behalf of the Knights of Columbus to present the Outstanding Young Citizens Award. In the past, we have called this award a scholarship. However, based on the council's format for judgment applicants, a form which uh more fully represents the Columbus efforts to support the community, we call home the awards have been renamed. The outstanding citizens award applicants are judged on the following criteria: community service, academic scholar accomplishments, work experience, and extracurricular activities. This award is available to all seniors from Baron, Cameron, Chetekar, Wals Area School District, as well as all seniors graduating from our parish cluster regardless of which school you attend. It's my pleasure to present the outstanding youth citizen award this year to recipient Becker versus [applause] >> [applause] [applause] >> The Divic family scholarship is presented this year to

This year's scholarships in the amount of $850 are awarded to Bailey Hayes and Ethan Bra. [applause] The Bill OD Community Service Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Eden Becker for $1,000. [applause] The Wisconsin School of Business at WMadison has awarded a $6,000 scholarship to Dan Maro. [applause] The Rice Lake Elks Lodge has awarded Aiden Becker a $1,000 lodge scholarship. [applause] >> Shortcut. I would like to recognize the following seniors for their participation in youth apprenticeship. In hospitality and tourism, we have Braden Razen and Gabriel

Mozer. [applause] >> [clears throat] >> in health science. Jordan Mazize and Olivia Gable [applause] in manufacturing. Elliot [applause] in transportation distribution and logistics. Zachary Ingram [applause] in agriculture. the office. [applause] The Excel Energy Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 has been awarded to Elliot Re. [applause] All right. Uh, I'm Matt Forest, teacher of math, computer science, MIT, and I get the pleasure to give out two awards today. uh first for computer science and IT. Choosing this award recipient was not easy as there were several students who would have been very welld deserving. However, the students stood out by taking more computer science and IT courses than anyone else during their high school and middle school career. Uh they took just about every single course that we offered and even expanded their their classes to taking

Northwood Tech college courses. His dedication to learning, willingness to challenge himself, and passion for technology made him a great representative of the program. Congratulations, Casey Hog. [applause] Then the next one is on behalf of myself, Miss Weaver, and Mr. Durk. This student had this for the math award. This student has spent her high school math journey constantly pushing her limits. Beginning in algebra 1 as an eighth grader, advancing all the way to AP calculus as a junior and statistics as a senior. She has never been afraid to take on a challenge. Despite missing lunch at the first trimester of AP Cal Golf, she differentiated herself from the competition by rallying back and earning one of the highest AP exam scores of her class. No matter the obstacle, her rate of growth never slowed down and

she continued deriving success from every challenge put in front of her. She has truly been an integral part of our school's math community and statistically speaking her accomplishments are far above average. Congratulations [applause] Hello, I am Christine Saither representing the English department of CWHS. We award a recognition to one senior each year um who has demonstrated real purpose and prowess in a variety of English classes. This year award will go to Casey Evans. [applause] I also get to represent our National Honor Society. And one of the projects that we do in National Honor Society is to work directly with the Red Cross where we support and man um several blood drives in our community, including a couple in house each year. Um because of our success in those drives and our partnership with the Red

Cross, we have scholarship money to award to two of our National Honor Society volunteers who have um repeatedly demonstrated effort and community support in these drives. This year awards will go to Cali Johnson and Casey Evans. [applause] Good afternoon everybody. My name is Shela and I am the co- high school student council advisor. Um unfortunately Mrs. Payton couldn't be here this afternoon and she told me to express her congratulations to all. It's an absolute honor for me to stand before you today on behalf of the student council as we recognize the incredible achievements of some truly outstanding students. These students scholarships represent more than just academic excellence. They celebrate dedication, perseverance, leadership, and the willingness to make a difference both inside and outside school. Please let the scholarship be a reminder of what you're capable

of and a small step toward the big future ahead of you. We believe in your potential and we can't wait to see what you're going to achieve next. We would like to award the scholarships to the following students. Here he is. He's [clears throat] Lawson. [applause] [applause] On a quick personal note, I wanted to say this year has been probably one of the best years we've had for student council and I attribute that to these seniors. They were fantastic leaders and they really did a lot for school spirit. So, thank you [applause] Yeah, I'm not even going to bother. Oh, my name is Rachel Westber and I have the blessing of being the drama club advisor and uh one of the co-directors here with the Shek Rehouser High School drama club. I am here to

take a moment to recognize seniors who have spent significant time either on stage or backstage during a drama club production. Not everyone sees the immense amount of work that goes into putting together a show. The sacrifices that these students make, but each one of these seniors inspires him to be a better person to walk work harder and pick. This group of seniors leaves a large crater in the drama club that will not easily be filled. They've all left their mark at CW and go out to leave their mark in the world. And it there is no greater joy than to know that that started right in these halls. So, I'd like to recognize some seniors who have spent that significant time on stage and backstage. Um, and they will come up here and receive a

certificate. Uh, Dar, [applause] Nelson. Um, over the past couple of years, we've also started being able to with the generosity of uh those who come to our shows and admissions, the drama club has been able to award scholarships uh to graduating seniors who apply. Five of these folks up here were eligible. They applied and are receiving $500 scholarships as part of their participation and work and dedication in the drama. So, [applause] Tessa, Casey, and D [applause] >> [applause] >> Thank you. Good afternoon. My name is Cole Felstead. I am the athletic director at the high school. And each year the WIA um allows us to use their criteria to select one male and one female in regards to academic excellence and athletic achievement. This year's recipients are Callie Johnson and Brick Olsson. [applause] >> [applause]

[snorts] >> The Dennis Seagru scholarship is given to students ranked in the top 10 of their class who are attending a 4-year university. Aiden Becker and Callie Johnson have both received scholarships in the amount of $3,000. [applause] Over the past 42 years, Chippo Valley Electric Cooperative has awarded more than $275,000 in scholarships. Scholarship funds are created by donated and unclaimed capital credits. Dad Bethl has received a $1,000 scholarship. [applause] The Web Family Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who demonstrates initiative. Eden Becker is a recipient of the $500 web scholarship. [applause] The Bingham Scholarship commemorates William Bingham while honoring his parents, Roy and Anna, and their commitment to giving back to the community. This year's 10 recipients will each receive $4,900. So, if you could just hold your applause until we announce all their

names. Madison Tatman, Casey Evans, Kai Meyers, Casey Hogan, Dagmar Beck, Noah Nelson, Ethan Brown, Elise Engel, Robert Olsen, and Noah [applause] >> [applause] >> The UW Oakclair Baron County Foundation with support from local businesses, organizations, endowments, and fundraising, awards scholarships to students attending the Rice Lake campus next year. Tessa Autumn is the recipient of the $750 who is who is for you scholarship and the $500 Arlene Olsen Memorial Scholarship. The $5,000 scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years for a total of $20,000. [applause] The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens Award recognizes high school seniors who exemplify, excuse me, dependability, service, leadership,

and patriotism. Only one student per school is chosen to receive this honor, which includes a pin certificate and the option to compete for cash scholarships. Dagmar Beth is this year's recipient of the Good Citizens Award. [applause] The UW Lacrosse Merit Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 has been awarded to Elliot Green. [applause] was also selected to receive a $2,000 W lacrosse purse scholar scholarship. [applause] The University of St. Thomas has awarded a merit scholarship to Cali Johnson in the amount of $35,000 per year. In addition, she received a $4,000 scholarship from the University of St. Thomas. Congratulations [applause] >> [applause] >> Hipp, >> good to see you guys. Uh, Mr. K wears many hats, so he's got a few here. First on behalf of the science department, the rigorous and best department in the school

um Odigard Christensen and myself have picking this uh chose this young lady. She's going on to major in molecular and cell biology and going to premed. She has kicked butt in every AP class and all the wonderful classes we have in the science department. Congratulations to Alyssa Cameron. [applause] She also will be kned next week in the Royal Order of the Chemist if you'd like to see what that is. Um, there's some fire and explosions and things. Um, if I could have the president of the great CW Mooster Club and the legend Eric Heer come join me. So, uh, on behalf of the, uh, booster club lately, we've been trying to really promote the scholar athlete, especially the, um, the kids that are involved in those sports, and I repeat this every year, but on

average, kids in three sports have better GPA than two sports and have better GPA in one sport. So, it's not about time, it's about time management. Kids that are involved go on to great successes in life. who we'd like to recognize with our first ever 12 sport award uh plaque for kids that have been in the sport all 12 seasons of their career. Okay. Um, Eric's going to hand these out, but first we got Kelsey Pulson, [applause] Ethan Brown, Adam Foss, [applause] and Luke Anderson. [applause] uh you for Hulk for a second, but once again to be involved in after school activities that are this rigorous and still do amazing things uh in high school is pretty impressive. Out of these two recipients, the Booster Club also has a $1,000 scholarship for uh being a

three sport athlete their senior year. We like to see kids have senior year involved. So again, on behalf of the Booster Club, the award winners are Adam Fost and Kelsey Pulson. [applause] You guys are good. Thank you, Presidente. Um, and now if I could have Don Kenson join me. This is one of the coolest things I get to do year round um is to celebrate the legacy of Owen Kudson. And I'm going to read to you the Owen Kudson heart of the Bulldog here. The Owen Kudson Heart of the Bulldog recognizes the athlete in each sport with the best character, integrity, and sportsmanship. The athlete who best embodies these characteristics characteristics is selected each sports season by the respective coaching staff and is supported by the CW booster club athletic department and the Kixson family.

No one embodied this better than Owen Kuken, the true heart of the Bulldogs. So we're going to do the spring ones. I'm going to do the baseball and softball and I will show up that tomorrow night when they have their home games and senior night. But because there wasn't many home track meets and golf meets uh due to our new Dun St. Croy, we're going to do those right now. So, on behalf of Coach Buckman, I'm going to read his two uh are the Bulldogs recipients. Uh boys track, come on up and I'll read when we get here, but Hudson Lindberg and girls Kelly Johnson. [applause] Hudson is a true example of character, integrity, and sportsmanship. He has consistently showed up to work hard to prove all this years in track. He models great character

and would be and would do anything for his team. Coach Buckman, uh Kelly Johnson, although this is only her second year track and field, she has shown tremendous commitment, improvement, great this season. She was able to break the school record in long jump, and we excited to see how her season ends. She's an amazing young woman. Coach Buckman >> [applause] >> You two stay right there. Don't go. Um I another hat of mine is I'm the golf coach. Um my pick this year is a kid that dedicates obnoxious time to the sport. There's a little light on the end of the driving range at Sou Creek and it's the only spot you can see when it's pitch black. I watched him for the last few years sit on the light so he can see golf

balls and hit into the dark for hours cuz his hands were sore. I've seen him come to school and practice at 6:00 a.m. the days we haven't meet the last two years. He was a huge part of one of the best golf dynasties in uh school history. And this year he stepped up to be an amazing leader and a role model and really pushes the other kids. and I'm honored uh to bring up Riker Masters. Come on up. [applause] Sorry. Um the Kudson and family and I have one more special one we'd like to do. Um through the years of doing this um we've done a couple things. We have a legacy award that's for a community member that's dedicated their lives to being a bulldog and helping Bulldog athletics. Um, sometimes we get a

student that is a great ambassador to what Owen represented and what this means about character. So, we're going to for the future call this the iron heart of the bulldo. Um, this young man was one of the greatest ambassadors to him. Um, he was the water boy for Owen in his last game. He wears the Owen Canudson shirt to a fault almost everywhere he goes. Um, I think it smells has holes in it. Um, he um has given Owen's bracelet to everyone he sees, including Badgers, including Jonathan Taylor. And I've watched him for four years be we have the greatest ambassador to go Kudson. So, it is my great privilege to recognize Aiden Becker as the Iron Heart. [applause] >> [applause] [applause] >> I need you to walk. Thank you. [applause] I am here on

behalf of the Chet Door Houser staff to present eight $1,000 scholarships. This year's eight recipients are, please hold your applause till the end, Dagma Beck, Elliot Green, Kelsey Pollson, Aiden Becker, Casey Hogan, Alyssa Cameron, Callie Johnson, and Casey Evans. >> [applause] [applause] >> Our next scholarship is the Wallace Scholarship Tech Owen Kunson Memorial Scholarship. Just a few moments we had Dawn on stage along with Mr. K. Um, and we got to hear a little bit more about who Owen was and what he embraced. Um, this year's Walley for Shack Owen Kudson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Aiden Becker. [applause] Our next scholarship is Wisconsin Technical

of 3.5 3.5 or higher. And then please hold your applause until the very end as we recognize each of these students. [applause] [snorts] And the validictorians of the class of 2026 are Darren Becker or Dar Beck, excuse me, and Kelly Johnson. [applause] >> [applause] >> Today is truly a special day where you see all the hard work that our seniors have put in not only over the last four years but also going back to middle school and elementary years and also the support that we have from a wonderful and tremendous uh community.
