[laughter] >> It looks like a final decision was made. It's all right. I have to switch That's [clears throat] an annual thing we used to do. That's yeah, that's not >> [laughter] [laughter] >> Yeah, I got 7:01 p.m. Central Standard Time. >> [clears throat and laughter] >> Starting late on account of this being Nikki's last board meeting. >> [laughter] >> Okay, so we're going to call this regular Board of Education meeting. Nikki, please >> Call the roll. >> Nikki Austin, present. You were hesitating, Jim. Jim Curran? >> Present. >> Mike is absent. Nicole Josephs? >> Present. >> Mike is absent. Teresa Keen? >> Present. >> Steve Meyer? >> Present. >> Carrie Montgomery? >> Present. >> Bill Lasher? >> Okay, with that we've got a quorum. We are officially in session. First item up is to
approve our agenda for tonight. I'll entertain a motion to approve the agenda for the April 27th, 2026 Board of Education meeting. >> So moved. >> Second. >> Uh I want that one. >> [laughter] >> A fight breaks out at the meeting. >> Did you want the motion? >> I don't need the motion. I'll just take the second. It's fine. >> So, we've got a motion by Teresa, second by Nikki. >> Any discussion before we vote? All in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed, nay. Motion carries. All right. Next up, we've got the administration of the oath of office to our newly elected Board of Education members. So, I'd like to welcome Caleb Evans and Melissa Phillips here tonight. Thank you so much. We're so excited to have you all. And I'll turn over to
>> Okay. Mine up Mine over here, Terry. Mine up here, guys. Raise your right hand and repeat after me. I'll wait till Terry gets over here. >> Good hustle, Terry. >> All right. [clears throat and laughter] I, state your name. >> I, Caleb Evans. >> Melissa Phillips. >> I, Terry Montgomery. >> You know, we'll do this together. Having been elected or appointed >> Having been elected or appointed to the office of school board member >> to the office of school board member >> for the school district of Mineral >> swear or affirm >> that I will support the Constitution of the United States >> that I will support the Constitution of the United States >> and the Constitution of the state of Wisconsin >> and the Constitution of the state of Wisconsin >> and will
faithfully and impartially discharge the duties >> and will faithfully and impartially discharge the duties >> of said office to the best of my ability. >> of said office to the best of my ability. >> So, help me God. >> All right. >> So, Melissa, are you signing this one? Terry, you're going to sign this one. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. >> Good. >> You're signing this one. >> Awesome. >> All right. And then, here's the notes for whoever's going to sit here and take them. Come here. >> Congratulations, guys. >> Congratulations. >> Welcome to the board. Thanks. >> All right, there. Come on. >> [clears throat] >> Pick a chair. I think Mike Davis would be disappointed if you take his spot. Doug. >> [laughter] >> And down at the end, and then um one
right next to me. >> All right, thanks, guys. >> Thanks, Nikki. >> my name plate. That's why I was looking at it. And then on my door it works out really [clears throat] nice. >> [laughter] >> It's like I have to take in my name plate. It's my parting gift. >> So, let's give Nikki a round >> 9 years. >> [cheering] >> Let's get her running out of here. >> Drive safely. >> [laughter] [clears throat] >> Okay, welcome. >> I know. >> Caleb, Melissa, welcome. So happy you're here. Terry, welcome back. >> Thank you. >> Um okay, so next up we've got the discussion on officer election procedures. So, I've got some some notes on this. It's my first time um doing this from this seat. And so, I'm going to give some overview and
then give us a chance to kind of talk about it as a board uh before we go on to the election of a temporary chair. So, um our board does this every year. Uh so, annually we elect officers to ensure that we are are leading an effective organization. Um the officers [clears throat] uh facilitate board operations, do not hold any greater authority uh than the board does as a whole. Um this process is governed by district policy 0152 and state statute. Uh so, tonight we've got five positions to fill. Uh president, vice president, treasurer, clerk, deputy clerk. Um so, then I'm going to talk about the the nomination process. So, the presiding officer uh opens nominations for each position in sequence. President, vice president, treasurer, clerk, deputy clerk. Uh nominations do not require a second
and then the chair closes the nominations after all are heard. Uh we have a voting process. So, voting typically occurs immediately after nominations close for each office and the methods can include a wide range of of votes. I think typically we do secret ballot. Is that right? >> If there's multiple candidates, then we'll do a secret ballot, which would be kind of fun. Um >> I [clears throat and laughter] mean >> From my perspective. Uh Okay, we've got the we've got the order and then once um Well, for for tonight, once the Well, we're going to The next thing we're going to do is elect a a temporary chair to to run the meeting um and then I guess the the president after elected can decide to kind of take the the meeting back or
have the the temporary uh chair continue um on that path. So, before we get to the temporary chair, I want to just have a little bit of a a discussion here because um you know, we [clears throat] haven't I guess I haven't talked to everybody about their aspirations or kind of their ideal for for a role they want to play or not uh for for the coming year. So, I wanted to especially for current officers open things up and just uh help us understand your desire to stay in the in the current role or if there's if there are folks who are would like to either ask any questions about the process or name uh kind of a position that you might have interest in and we'd be right open to that. And typically we
don't have new board members as officers, but of course that's not a You'll be welcome to to to weigh in as well. >> I guess I would like to be clerk instead of deputy clerk. >> Thanks for starting us off today. >> Do you have any comments? >> Um I Sorry, what? >> [laughter] >> It No no no order uh necessary here. Just asking if folks have aspirations for a particular office or um if you're in one or not. >> I'm good. >> It's okay if you don't want to say it. I would like to be clerk. Yeah. >> [laughter] >> That's >> Sorry. >> That's okay. No, no. >> No, we have secret ballots. >> Although Jim wanted them. You know what? I'll step aside and continue as deputy clerk. Sorry. >> That's totally
[laughter] okay. You don't have to >> I think it's my turn now. >> Sure. >> [laughter] >> I don't know if >> Move this along. What you got, Phil? >> I served as treasurer and I would be more than happy to continue in that role if I'm nominated. >> Awesome. >> Same. I've been vice president and I'm happy to continue to serve as vice president if nominated. >> Great. Appreciate that. Melissa, welcome to the board. >> Thank you. >> Have [clears throat and laughter] Have you thought about any officer position? >> I'll pass for tonight. >> I think I will just sit this one out. >> [laughter] >> But thank you. >> Great. Steve. >> Um I'm fine with the people that are here right now that have volunteered. I think they did a good
job and I I think they're really good at their jobs, so. >> Good. Thanks for saying that, Steve. >> [clears throat] >> Gil, anything to add? >> Uh I think I'm good. >> Yeah? >> [laughter] >> And to just to say I I would be honored to [clears throat] to remain president of the board, but also don't want to discourage anybody who, you know, who is interested in this in this role. So, >> [clears throat] >> with that uh thank you for thank you for jumping in. Also, just want to make it clear that this uh you know, wasn't something we kind of cooked up in the in the back room before showing up today. So, we're actually showing up um discussing what >> [clears throat] >> I think we made that clear at the
last meeting. >> [laughter] >> I'm just narrating what you all already made. If not, you guys are amazing actors. >> [laughter] >> Um, okay, so with that we are going to elect a temporary chair. >> I would nominate Jim for temporary chair. >> Jim, I think we know who >> You mean Joe. >> Joe. >> So, Jim can. >> Oh. >> I was going to frame that differently. >> A point of order then. I nominate Joe. >> I second that nomination. >> Okay, I'm Nick Nick is not going Okay, we've got a nomination from Phil, a second from Teria to appoint Joe Monroe as the temporary chair. >> [snorts] >> Is there Are there any other nominations for temporary chair? Any other nominations for temporary chair? >> I make a motion to close nominations and
cast unanimous ballot for Joe Monroe as temporary chair. >> Motion by Teresa, second by Phil. At this point I'm going to call for a vote. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Who's nay? Joe is officially your mayor. >> thank you. Acting as temporary chair at this time, I'll open the floor for nominations for the office of president. Nominations are in order. Do we have any nominations for president? >> I nominate Jim Curran for president. >> Second that. >> We have a nomination for Jim Curran as president. Are there any further nominations? >> I move to close the nominations. >> What What was it? >> Cast unanimous ballot. >> Yeah. >> Yep. So, seeing no other uh nominations for president, we have a unanimous ballot for for Jim as president of the Board of
Education. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed? Okay. Jim, would you like to take over as chair or would you like me to >> [clears throat] >> You want me to >> Go for it. >> Work through it? All right. Let's go to vice president. At this time, open the floor for nominations for the office of vice president. >> I move to nominate Teresa Keen for vice president. >> I second that nomination. >> We have Teresa Keen as nomination nominated as vice president. Do we have any other further nominations? Seeing none, nominations for vice president are closed. We have unanimous ballot. All in favor of Teresa Keen serving as vice president say I. >> I. >> Opposed? Congratulations, Teresa. You're vice president. All right. Now we'll go to treasurer. We'll open the floor
for nominations for treasurer. >> I nominate Phil Vasquez. >> Second. >> All right. We have a nomination of Phil Vasquez seconded by Jim. Do we have any other nominations for treasurer? Seeing none, nominations for treasurer are closed. We have unanimous ballot. All those in favor of Phil Vasquez serving as treasurer say I. >> I. >> Opposed? Congratulations, Phil. You are treasurer. Moving to the highly contested office of clerk. Do we have any nominations? This is of all the offices I said that we haven't had a a battle for this in the past. The floor is open for nominations for the office of clerk. >> I nominate Nicole. >> I'll second that nomination. >> All right. We have a nomination for Nicole Josephs and a second for her to serve as clerk for the board. Do
we have any other nominations? Seeing none, nominations for clerk are closed. We have a unanimous ballot. All those in favor of Nicole serving as clerk, say aye. >> Aye. >> Opposed? Congratulations, Nicole. >> [clears throat] >> And then finally we have the office of deputy clerk. We'll now take nominations for the office of deputy clerk. >> I nominate Terry Montgomery. >> This feels really good coming from you. >> [laughter] >> All right, we have a nomination for Terry as deputy clerk. >> I second that nomination. >> Second. Do we have any other nominations for deputy clerk? Seeing none, nominations are closed. We have a unanimous ballot once again. All those in favor of Terry serving as deputy clerk, say aye. >> Aye. >> Opposed? Congratulations, Terry. >> Thank you. >> Deputy clerk. Thanks to all
of our officers. Appreciate it. And with that, I will turn the meeting back over to our president, [clears throat] Jennifer. >> Do we turn it back over right now or do you finish with EIE? >> No. I think typically what happens is well, I can I can certainly do it. It doesn't matter. >> I'm fine. Yeah. >> You got it. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> And then if we could have Kale, why don't [clears throat] you switch spots with Nicole just to keep things consistent. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Sorry to break it. >> it. We're already done. >> [clears throat] >> This is the good admin. >> Mhm. >> This is >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> That's the dark side. >> Typically the idea is more Yeah, but no. We switch it up
here. And then the way that we do it >> I raised the chair up cuz I felt like I was riding on the ground. >> I don't think this one goes up. >> This one doesn't. I took the whole thing. >> [laughter] >> Caleb's sitting there holding his knee the whole meeting. >> Okay. Well, [clears throat] I want to thank the board for um what you nomination and and your support that to continue in this role. I mean it means a lot. Um and also thanks to all the officers for stepping up to take on your your positions. Um the EIU Liaison is the next uh item on the agenda and that we we don't need the same process for that. This along with the the CSEA Representative that's later on in the agenda, these
are kind of volunteer posts uh that are really important to the the health of the board. Um Terry, I believe you've been our EIU Liaison. >> Yeah, well, Nicole has been but I'm on the board. Being the EIE Liaison means that you come to the EIE meetings which are like six a year um and you help guide the decisions on the board. But and then you bring the information back to the Board of Education when they have meetings. So, that's basically what the Liaison does. >> Nicole, is that all you want to continue? >> I am um I'm welcome to continue it but also I do end up with some conflicts um the time. So, if anybody is a little bit more flexible and able to make the meeting times which are noon um Wed-
Wednesdays at noon. >> Uh Tuesdays at noon. >> Tuesdays at >> But not every Tuesday. >> Not every Tuesday. Not every Tuesday. No, no, no, no. >> Like yeah, six um six a year. Um I mean I enjoy it and I would like to stay but it is a usually a conflict time. So, if there's someone else >> Do we have to nominate somebody or do they need to say if they're interested? >> So, I I don't believe this is an action item. I think we we just >> like in the past we've just said who's in Who's interested? >> I I'd be interested in doing that. >> Okay. >> If nobody else wanted to. >> Does anyone want to vie for that position against Caleb? >> I would also have a conflict of time,
unfortunately. So, I will hand that over to Caleb. >> Awesome. Okay. [clears throat] Well, with that, Caleb, you are officially our new liaison. Liaison. Thanks for stepping up. Okay. >> And it's worth noting that Terry is the president of the IEA, so she's also So, she'll keep her her eye on you, Caleb. >> Okay. So, now we've got um Now that we have our our board intact with new officer positions, uh we get the chance to officially take roll for our 26th, 27th uh Board of Education. >> One Sorry, one more point of order. Do we have Do we not have a lab library liaison anymore? >> That library liaison is um >> Yeah, that >> Did we already do that? >> Yeah, they they um suggested someone and we actually >> Oh, for their
board? Oh, is that for their board? That's not our >> Oh, Julie from the office. >> So, it's not a board member anymore. Okay, that's fine. I Sorry. Just couldn't remember. That makes sense. That sounds right. >> Good question. Okay. With that I'll have >> Uh-huh. >> Nicole call call call you first roll. >> All right, Caleb Aarons. >> Present. >> Absent. Jim Curran. >> Present. >> Mike Davis is absent. Nicole Joseph is present. Melissa Phillips. >> Present. >> Teresa Keens. >> Present. >> Steve Mayer. >> Present. >> Terry Montgomery. >> Present. >> Phil Osborn. >> Present. >> Okay. With that, we've got our new quorum [clears throat] and we're officially in session. >> Can I interject something quick? Just for the gentlemen in the back. I don't know if you guys are planning on
staying for the whole meeting or not, but you're not going to offend anyone if you get You're welcome to stay for the whole meeting. But, if you guys don't want to sit through a whole board meeting, you're not going to offend anyone if you get up [clears throat] and leave cuz I know Jordy's got things to do. >> [laughter] >> They got school tomorrow. >> That's right. So, whenever you guys are comfortable, stay as long as you like, sir. >> No, you're good. >> Okay, next up we've got our consent items. So, I'd ask every board member to take a look at the consent agenda and um let me know if there's anything that you'd want to remove from the consent agenda for full consideration. Okay, hearing none, I'll take a motion and a second
and then I'll read these for the record. So, I'd entertain a motion to approve the consent items as presented. >> So moved. >> Motion by Steve. >> I'll second. >> Seconded by Caleb. And then I'll go ahead and read these. And I've got the minutes, approval of the minutes from our April 13th, 2026 meeting. Uh professional staff retirement, Chuck Lynch, tech ed, Mineral High School, 8 years. Approval of professional staff resignation, Madison >> Gilbank, uh art teacher at Abe and the high school. Uh approval of support staff resignation, Coral Leopold, special education aid at Parkside. Approval of professional staff hiring, Megan Dilly, uh Mineral High School family and consumer sciences and Tara Greely, Mineral High School special education. And then uh approval and acceptance of community donations. We've got three donations to the Backpack Buddies
program tonight. Donald and Bonnie Barker, $50. Karen Reitzman, $1,000. Maryann Johnson, $30. Any discussion before we take a vote? >> I'd just like to thank Chuck for his years of service as our um tech ed teacher, one of our tech ed teachers. And um you know, it's it's only 8 years, but 8 years can be a long time, and he did a lot of work when he was here for those 8 years. So, thank you for your service. >> critical time for the program. >> Exactly. Absolutely. With launch and everything else, it was a critical time. >> Same here. And a warm welcome to the new hires. >> Yep. >> And a very generous donation to Backpack Buddies. >> One note on one of the professional hires, Megan Dilly is already employed by the district.
She's moving to another position within the district. So, just wanted you to know that. It's technically a transfer, but wanted to represent it we have some movement in the district. It's important that you all have some awareness of how that's shaking out. Appreciate that. Okay. With that, we've got a motion and a second. All in favor say aye. >> Aye. >> Opposed, nay. Motion carries. All right, next up, we've got public comments. Anyone here for the purpose of public comment tonight? I mean, you, Roger. Someday. [laughter] Someday we'll get you. Okay. School day is on report. We've got no lien tonight. No old business. On to new business. Okay, we'll start [clears throat] off with the approval of a 10-year scholarship as 10-year sponsorship of the ag classroom in the new high school. Turn over
to Joe to give the details. >> Yeah, so Amy Steiner, who works in the school district, uh had approached us and expressed an interest by her family to support the the ag classroom um at the new high school. Um this was an area that we, you know, I don't know that we necessarily identified as a sponsorship opportunity early on in the process, but uh the Steiner family expressed a lot of passion for this program. Obviously, they have a rich history of farming in the area. And um really wanted to be a part of this project. They were they're very excited. So, uh first special thanks to Amy and her family for their generous support. This will be a 10-year sponsorship total $10,000. Um this is going to allow us to make sure that that program
continues to be in great shape. For those of you that aren't familiar with our our ad program, we're truly very blessed to have a great program. Uh Daniel Pernot uh does an incredible job and um we're just we're thankful that we have such good stewardship of the program. We're thankful for the new facility that is going to really allow us to do a lot of things that currently are limited by our our old high school and we're excited to have this partnership with the Steiner family. So we would ask that the board approve this sponsorship as it's presented. >> Okay. Do we have a motion? >> Second. >> A motion by Phil Steiner by Terry. Any discussion before we vote? >> I just want to echo um Joe's [clears throat] gratitude and emphasize how critical
it is to have community support for projects like this to make sure that they they sustain. So thank you to the Steiner family for their sponsorship. With that, all in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed, nay. Motion carries. Next up is uh informational item. Uh so this is our chance for uh new board members. Uh we got the the crew here. Um both CG and Huffman Keel represented, right? So this is our chance to This kind of these are our our biggest partners on the middle high school project. So this is our chance to understand how are things progressing as we get toward the finish line. Ask any questions you have. Don't be shy about it. If you're thinking it, then someone else probably has the same question. Then I'll turn it over to
Joe to frame anything he has before he >> Yeah, we have the familiar faces of Tony and Alex here at the meeting. Um as everyone's aware, we're at kind of the tail end of the project. Um it's been exciting to see all the work come together. Um as the construction trailers have been pulled out of the parking lot now, and that's probably when it really crystallized for me that oh boy, this is really happening here. But it's also represented by the way the building looks and it does look incredible. Um It's a lot of work that's happening, a lot of clean up, uh polishing of floors, uh a lot of finish work. Still some work to go, right guys? But um I think overall we're feeling pretty good about where we're at. So um I'll
just turn it over to you guys. I know you've had some meetings and Alex earlier today, I know you said there was some news that you guys are ready to share regarding occupancy, I think, or at least some >> I won't take it from >> Yeah, I mean >> [laughter] >> don't upset Tony. >> Well, we're we're going for temporary occupancy this week. That's our that's our goal later this week, but um the first step of that process were two critical inspections this morning. One was for the elevator inspection and we passed that and the other one was fire fire pump inspection. So those first two are down and that's that's a week of ongoing tests and and things like that. So I think it's off to a great start this week and uh all
goes well, we'll have temporary occupancy um by the end of the week. So basically what that does is just allows for a different group of people to to enter the building, basically furniture installers um because the furniture is going to be um arriving starting next week and I think it's like a 3-week cadence-ish, plus or minus, so a lot of trucks coming uh with furniture. So Um yeah, it's it's getting real very quickly as Joe mentioned. Um so it's looking good. Um I can kind of just give you a run down of the different areas. Um you know, for the academic areas, we call them like A-wing and B-wing, so a lot of where the classrooms are and admin, >> [clears throat] >> we've done punch listing in all that area. So items like the
last two weeks of items have been identified and subcontractors are working on cleaning up those punch list items. Um in the M room, finished the polishing like Joe said. Um the the logos are now on the floor. One's in the polished concrete itself and then one's in the walk-off mat that's out towards the uh the football complex. Um in the gymnasium, we got some final touches going in there. The scoreboard contractor came today and they're going to be putting up the rest of scoreboards. Um and the and then also the the custom wall mats arrived. Um so that's kind of a new thing. In the performing arts center, one of the final pieces is is the seating. That arrived today. It'll take about a week for them to get going. Um when I walked out
there, they're just getting everything kind of laid out on the floor. Um you know, aside from that, some other touches I have noted here. The trailers are gone. Uh paper towels and soap dispensers are starting to be installed. That for us is a thing that means it's coming. >> [laughter] >> Uh elevator the vehicle lifts are are in in the in the auto area. So they installed those last week. Um I got most of the other stuff. Um scoreboard scoreboard columns out at the uh the track and football area are are cut, painted, and prepped for the the scoreboard to be moved over. Um outside in the concessions buildings, uh football concessions, it's drywalled and painted in the majority of the inside and they're putting up insulation and getting ready to do all the siding
for that. And the baseball concessions is just one step behind them. Um we poured the slab for the sports storage. And uh the LMC finishes are in. Um you know, that was packed with a bunch of stuff I think during the open house. It's completely cleared out and carpet's in there now. So that's nice to see. So yeah, we're there is still a lot of work to do. I mean, temporary occupancy doesn't mean we're done. Uh it just means that there's a lot of stuff coming in um and we're hooking things up and getting punch list items completed. We're targeting towards the you know, I think it's June 18th for being substantial complete with whole project which from now until June 18th will be a high focus on everything outside of the building. We'll still
be working on punch list stuff inside and hooking things up as they come, furniture, what have you, but really a lot of the focus will go towards driving the exteriors to be completed. So, there's been a lot of fence work that's happened. You see some nets, batting cages nets outside, some fence guards around the outfield fence on the baseball and softball fields. So, some finishing touches are are showing up there, too. >> Even beyond that, we'll have commissioning and you know, fine-tuning your HVAC system and other things are going to go beyond your June date. You know, you'll want to make tweaks once the building's full and so I mean, they're not going away anytime soon. >> Can you explain commissioning to these guys that might some that may not know what that means? >>
It's just fine-tuning your your HVAC systems and making sure everything's running properly to to your needs for the schools. >> We'll be we'll likely have just cuz we're done in June, we'll be likely have electricians at least in the facility all summer to help, you know, get things hooked up and different things when they come over from the kitchen, for example, and hook those things up. So, yeah, we've been working really closely with TC Networks. RS and TC Networks did did great last week helping us get the phone lines for that elevator inspection. We had a little hiccup there, but we got past it and RS was part part of that. So, yeah, things are things are going good, but there's still a lot to do. I don't know if there is any drone footage
or if you need to look at it. It's up to you, Joel. >> It's We don't have any drone footage. BoardDocs is down [clears throat] right now, so we're flying hard copies tonight. So >> Sounds good. Yeah, please do. >> Tony, two I guess. I I keep coming back to this once in a while but the scoreboard that's from the football field. We've talked about a backdrop of some sort. >> Yep. >> It says Monroe Cheese Makers across the top. Had people tell me it's hard to read at night. Doesn't stand out. When it's down that might be an opportunity I suppose to be considered doing something there. I believe the team has invested in that opportunity. >> So, it's all it's a contract held by the district I believe but that there was a
change it made and T-LCS teed up that to do that. >> Yeah. Got that one. And the second question of the punch list preview is administration on that team that I presume? >> Yes, so what we do they were at the beginning but what we decided it was long process so like Joe and Ron are really attending that necessarily right now but there will be a final owner acceptance walk. So, we kind of got a good understanding of what is required and expected of Joe and Ron. Take that and apply that to the rest of the punch list that happen. And then when we're done getting all our items done we'll bring administration in one more time and just say yep, okay you got it or you know there might be a couple odds and
ends. >> Yep. >> Exactly. >> And in the meantime last so tomorrow morning 9:00 Jeremy and I will be out there. We're going to take a walk, look around, see if there's anything that we're we're noticing. But these guys are great typically before we notice anything they're on top of it and let us know, hey you need to look at this and let us know if you have any concerns. >> And is Huffman Keel in that loop >> Alex is in the mix. Uh I've been >> I'm trying to understand the process. >> Sure. It's a little it's a little different than normal but we're just trying to sit you know, they're pretty busy at the moment so the architect Russ and Hannah from PRA and I have been doing the punch walks. >> Okay.
>> Like I said, like you said, we'll take them in at the end when we think we've pretty much got it. I mean, there'll be little stuff, paint here or there or whatever cuz somebody touched the wall from furniture or whatever. I mean, hopefully we're done before that, but that's >> So, you and PRA PRA are in the loop on the punch list. >> We're we're up >> things created punch list >> Yep. >> Can Can you just say what >> [clears throat] >> maybe obvious, but like what is a punch list? What What are What are What are we doing? >> Yeah, so it's the opportunity for >> [clears throat and cough] >> the art the architect and the owner or the owner's rep in this case to walk through the building and identify
anything that they don't think is correct. Whether it be a nick in the wall or a door doesn't latch all the way. It's a list of items that aren't quite right that we need to get fixed before we demobilize completely. So, it's just a a to-do list, basically. >> Okay. So, one one thing that we typically get when Board Docs is live, I think for this update is kind of the the overall the kind of overview of where we are, especially the contingency is is been paid a lot of attention. So, is there any updates or any timeline projections on the >> There wasn't much for updates on that right now. Plus, right now Ryan has some family issues, so he didn't get the docs. There wasn't much to update you on really, but we'll
have it And Ryan called me today and he he felt bad, but as Alex said, he had a family emergency that he was dealing with. So, between that with Ryan and Ron being out, what we'll do is we'll bring something forward for the next meeting so that the the board can review the most updated >> And then when you're talking contingency, you're talking like relating to the B&S turnover? What What's the contingency that you're talking to at towards the end here? >> Great question. I'm going to defer that to one of these guys. >> [clears throat] >> So there's a there's a construction contingency which is held in the in the GMP for the construction through CG Schmidt. >> [clears throat] >> So I monitor that and I can give an update on that. We're
about uh 84% of that has been kind of spent. Um so that that's less than we are with billings which is great. Um so there's a balance uh there but we'll keep close track of that from now until the end. So uh we're where we need to be with that and then there's another um contingency and that's just another bucket of money for things that might go unforeseen but it's on the owner's side. It's called owner contingency, construction contingency. Um and that's what I I I don't know the details of that but I I can't remember the last update but that that's what they're referring to as Ryan usually tracks that and is is not available today. >> Yeah, we're we're in pretty good shape I think on the owner's end. >> Okay. Just to
provide an example. So yes, last time we checked in we're in really good shape. There's nothing that any of us are aware of that would compromise that status. As an example, one of the conversations we had with uh signage and branding today was talking about getting the large exterior Mineral High School sign on on the north side of the building. One of the things that we had to take into consideration was with the grade changes and how it's laid out, we're going to need extra cranes in order to install that signage. That extra crane work is going to probably cost us over $7,000. That's why we have a contingency so that we can we can take on those those surprises or those challenges and and not negatively impact the budget. Did I represent that correctly?
You guys are >> Just to connect percent. >> No, but you said perfect. Yeah. >> You know exactly what the agency was referring to. >> The So then the the last time we talked about this, I think it was maybe the two meetings ago, we talked about the bases, electrical bases. And so I think >> [clears throat] >> the that was actually coming out of savings from the project. So we've got If I'm playing this back accurately, we've got owner contingency, we've got the construction contingency, and then anytime we've costs come in lower than we were anticipating, then we've got some flex within the project, which is how we were then able to get the the bases installed. Is that an accurate playback? Okay. Any other questions for CG Schmidt or Winkel? >> What is
the status of those bases? Have they been installed or >> I don't think so. Um >> Um I think it's coming up pretty quick, though. Uh but they'll they'll have that installed. And just to be clear, it is the varsity fields, uh the the bases for the light poles on the varsity fields, not JV. >> It's been a weather hang-up mostly to get back out there. Yeah, but I assume that will go really smoothly to the rest of them. And they drilled out with an auger that cuts through rock and everything, and they'll be in out of there in no time with the bases. >> Are you planning a ribbon cutting or an open house? >> We are talking about that. Jeremy and I had had a conversation today. One of the things that we're
trying to nail down is the schedule for the signage and the branding. Obviously, when we do that, we want it to be done. And uh one of the things we discussed today is their schedule currently has them They were talking mid-July, and between Alex, Jeremy, and myself, we all very politely encouraged them to think about, you know, getting closer to the end of June, very early July, versus pushing it. And so >> It might be August or whatever. >> Yeah, that will be Yeah, we absolutely will do that with recognition that what we did recently was a preview night offering the the community an opportunity to see what was going on, but that wasn't our grand opening. So, yes, absolutely and and the board will be a big part of discussing how we put that
together. >> Good question. >> Any other questions? Administration or Cesar Okay. Thanks, guys. >> Thank you. >> Thanks, guys. See you tomorrow. >> [snorts] [clears throat] >> All right, I won't see you while I'm out. So, you'll be on the road. Safe travels, man. Oh, sure. All right, next up we've got the appointment of our CESA 2 representative. I'm going to turn it over to Joe to talk about what what that is. Yeah, and just Nikki was our previous CESA 2 rep. I believe correct. So, basically what what [snorts] school districts are asked to do is provide a board member that will be connected to CESA 2. For those of you that don't know what a CESA is, looking at our new board members, it's a cooperative service agency. So, CESA stands for cooperative educational
service agency. There's I believe 12 of them across the state of Wisconsin. Is that right? I think that's right. We'll go with that. Teresa's saying we think that's right. So, we're going to we're going to pretend that it's correct. Regardless, we're in CESA 2 and the idea here is that we have a board rep that works with CESA 2 and all the other representatives to share perspectives on what they feel is most important. And then ultimately what happens is through that conversation, CESA 2 works with the other CESAs to determine what information is most important and ultimately what needs to be lobbied on behalf of school districts. So, it's a way to go from uh local, regional to more state-level discussions and making sure that school boards have a voice in any activity that's happening
in Madison. Um, beyond that, it's also a great opportunity to connect with other um, school districts in terms of their celebrations, challenges, what's going on, and what's coming up in the future. So, um, it's not an overly taxing role. It's one that if you enjoy learning about other school districts and what's happening at the state level, this might be for you. So, with that, we don't need a kind of formal process here. This is just a volunteer position. So, does anybody have questions for this role, or is anyone, based on information provided so far, interested in jumping in? >> I would be interested. >> All right. >> That's one. >> Oops. >> Just be a sport. >> Just wanted to see you, too. >> [laughter] >> Sorry. >> Um, okay. [clears throat] Yeah, Nicole Josephs
is our new CESA 2 representative. Thank you very much, Nicole, for being willing to serve in that capacity. All right, next up, we've got approval of our 2026-2027 professional staff contracts. I'm going to have Joe give us the context here. >> Sure. So, this is something we do annually um, to allow the board an opportunity to see the number of professional contracts that um, we will have in the school district for the coming year. Um, basically, what this list represents is there is a significant reduction from 187 this school year down to 167 for the upcoming school year. That obviously represents reductions related to the reduction plan and the outcome of the referendum. Um, this is not asking us to identify individuals that will be uh staff contracts that will be issued. This is really
about the board um, honoring that we will have 167 pro- professional staff FTEs for the 26-27 school year. Any questions for administration? I think the other part that I would just add is that, you know, I I know as there's been some conversation post referendum it's important to me for me to say to the community that we are following through on the plan that we promised that that we would implement with the reduction plan. And as difficult as that process is, we're we're holding true to our word and and this this list certainly represents that at work. >> And these are just the >> [clears throat] >> the professional staff because also we are having cuts in the non-professional staff as well. >> Correct. So, the the additional positions that when you look at the
custodial positions that are represented in the the exempt staff position as well. Good point. Thank you. >> Um other other questions for administration before I was just doing the >> [clears throat] >> doing the math. I couldn't do the mental math. Um this is a an 11% reduction year over year of uh professional staff. So, just a for anybody [clears throat] that maybe doesn't feel like, you know, 20 positions is a is a whole lot. Maybe in some districts that that doesn't feel like a whole lot, but 11% of any workforce and any institution, um especially for for student-facing roles is a significant reduction. So. As much as I do not want to uh approve this, um I would ask that the board approves it I'd entertain a motion to approve the 2026-2027 professional staff
contracts as listed and as recommended by administration. >> I'll move. >> Motion by Phil. >> Second by Steve. Any discussion before we vote? >> [clears throat] >> I would just echo what you said. As much as we don't want to do this, we understand that that's the situation that we're in. So. >> All right. >> All in favor, say aye. >> Aye. >> Opposed, nay. Motion carries. All right. Next up, we've got our second reading. >> This is action? >> Yes. >> Sorry. Got to make my way through the packet here. >> Okay. So, we we're going to look for a a motion to approve the policy updates as recommended by the policy committee. I'll turn it over to to Joe to give us any kind of background on this before we take action. >>
Yeah. So, we had our first reading at the last meeting. There were no significant uh comments or notes. The policy committee thoroughly vetted all of these. Um presented them to the board. We feel good about this. Again, as a reminder, this represents a significant step forward to finally getting caught up on some policy work that needed to get done. Um certainly would be willing to answer any questions that I can given that board docs is currently down and I'd be doing my best to um recall the policy work from memory, but um uh neither, you know, Mike when Mike Frostad was the uh policy chair, uh nor I had any concerns about the policy that's before you now. >> Just a question generally. No significant changes from first reading to the >> None. No. What
What last time is is what we've got here. >> I make a motion. >> Motion Motion by Phil, second by Terry. Any discussion? Questions before we vote? All right. All [clears throat] in favor say I. >> I. >> Those nay? Motion carries. Okay, last up we've got an informational item. Um So, we have a superintendent vacancy. And uh one of the biggest roles that we play as a school board is um I guess the the hiring and performance management of the uh superintendent of our our school district. So, our role as a board, we go through an evaluation uh process of our superintendent once a year. Um and what we wanted to do, I've had a chance to connect with Joe on this and get some some guidance and some some some different options, but
want to make sure the board is clear on kind of what the process is from this point. And also get a little bit of chance to get feedback um on on a portion of the process. Before I walk through the details, anything you want to say, Mr. Chair? >> No, just I appreciate Jim looping me in and allowing me to have some feedback from my perspective. I think it's important that the board determines of what's the process that needs to be used, not only for myself given that this has been a unique situation how it evolved, but moving forward so there's some consistency in how you want to evaluate whoever is sitting in this chair. So, um I think a formal process makes a lot of sense and welcome the feedback and look forward to
moving through it. >> Great. Um [clears throat] so, what I'll direct everyone's attention, we got the the sheets here. If you take a look at the the kind of bottom half of that page, it's got the green highlighted um elements. So, we did um goal setting last summer. And Teresa keep me honest if I mess up any of the timelines on this, but Joe and and I guess Joe set some really clear goals that the board approved. And then we've had um Well, the we're in a a little bit of a different situation. We weren't kind of formally required to do all these steps because Joe was interim at the time, but we still Joe wanted to do it, we wanted to do it. Set some really clear, bold, ambitious goals for for Joe as
a superintendent. We've gotten regular progress updates on those including kind of some I would say a mid-year check-in meeting of sorts late last fall. Um so, then what what happens from here is that we're using the Wisconsin Association of School Boards kind of platform. And so, it's a service that we pay for. So, they kind of help manage this logistically. Uh so, Joe is going to fill out his self-evaluation by May 8th. And then Or sorry, he's going to receive the evaluation by May 8th. Hopefully, it'll be here sooner than that. He'll complete that by May 15th. Then the people from WASB kind of download that, they create a summary report summary report that they um are going to play back to Joe and then Joe's going to bring to us in a special meeting
the last week of May. We're going to have a board meeting that week where we're going to set up a special meeting just for this purpose to kind of like summarize his self-evaluation. And so, then >> Jim, can I ask a question? >> Yes. >> Sorry. I think we used WASB three or four years ago their platform. >> No. It's new. Two years ago. And we we tried using it. We couldn't with what was going on. So, we never really used it. >> Wasn't there some >> There was an older >> struggles with the >> I think they were in a with >> somebody. >> That's that >> survey group. >> Yes. >> But it sounds like school perception. But it sounds like maybe when they had that tragic death of Dan Nerad >> Yep.
>> And then it sounds like from what you had shared that maybe they're they revised this or they've done some different things. >> Yes. >> I mean it's it's >> I'm going to ask a question. I guess I I just want to make sure that it seems like we have some challenges and I just want to make sure that the WASB process platform was sound and usable. I guess I'm putting it back to you, Joe, and Jim, maybe. >> Yeah, I mean I think given where we're at at this time of the school year and also as Jim mentioned that we've already paid for the service. Um I think Terry and Teresa referenced that there's they've WASB has shared that they've made some improvements to the system. We felt that it was worth using the
provided framework to give it a shot. Certainly, if we get into it and find that it doesn't meet the board's needs, then we can pivot for next year. Um but ultimately, as Jim said, it's important for you all to give me feedback and hold me accountable and we didn't want to delay that process. So, um we're hopeful that this will meet your needs and will address some of the past shortcomings. >> We kind of went I don't know, but went back and forth a little bit on should we just do our own thing or, you know, use the process that we have and I think ultimately, >> [clears throat] >> you know, we got a couple folks that we trust or I trust from WASB who kind of said, "Hey, we feel good about the
process now." Um good enough for me. So. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Um okay. So, let me I want to get through this timeline just to make sure we're all we're all clear on what's happening. So, um so, Joe is then going to share at the special meeting his self-evaluation report and kind of progress to goal, then you all will get a survey from me provided by WASB for you to do your evaluation. So, the the Just make sure everybody's got the dates here. So, we'll get that end of May, then by June 10th, everybody's going to complete their survey. And then I'll get the summary report somewhere in the neighborhood of June 17th, a week after June 10th, and then I'll deliver the evaluation to bring back to you all by June 22nd, enclosed, and
then I'll bring that to Joe by June 30th. So, at a minimum, one you all to see kind of how the process is laid out, but also I I don't I don't think it's going to be a 15-minute survey for you all. There's going to be some time involved there. So, if you can make sure you've got some time blocked to do the evaluation portion after May 29th, I'd definitely appreciate that. So, let me pause there and just see if if that makes sense, if there's questions about the timeline or the process that we got laid out here. The only other thing that's I guess a little bit, I [clears throat] don't know, I don't want to say awkward, but a little bit different is to have two new board members, right? So, I I
you all are here in your your first meeting and you're kind of like, how am I going to evaluate the superintendent based on, you know, 90 minutes of evidence? Um and just to know, I think you all been community members and active community members, and I think you bring your your perspective uh from before the board that you can include in your survey and evaluation in addition to the presentation that Joe's going to bring to us on his own self-evaluation. So, I mean, it might feel strange, but I feel like you are all you you are well equipped, and I'm eager to hear your perspective, too. >> So, we will all of us go into close session with Joe on the 28th or whatever, and he goes through the self-evaluation with us. And then immediately
after that, you give us our survey links. Okay. >> Yep, that's right. >> Okay. >> So, we have his self >> His evaluation first, and then okay. >> to inform if we want our evaluation. Gather your questions on purpose or logistics here. I know it's an involved process, but Okay, the only other thing we want to do with this, and this is why we've got these big thick packets. Um so, in the the WASBE uh superintendent framework, basically [clears throat] uh the the format that Joe has for his self-eval that we're going to use for our survey, uh he he'll rate himself on kind of all of these different um standards attributes Yeah, standards. That's a way to say that. Um but, there are places where um Joe then has the option to give kind
of qualitative evidence. And where Joe and I discussed is we had preferred not to have him do that for every single standard. It feels a bit cumbersome. And so, we want to make sure we're prioritizing the appropriate um standards. So, I don't think we need to get into a long-drawn-out conversation, but we wanted to give Joe the chance to highlight the the places where we want to focus, and then also um if any board member is I should find the actual page >> Page 18 is where it starts. And you can see um the standards that were circled in green just as a a starting point. These were some areas that, you know, if I had to pick five um that I I selected. The first being the mission, vision, and core values. Obviously, that's
very important in any organization. Um I included the curriculum, instruction, and assessment. That's the number one thing that we're responsible for as an educational institution. Making sure that we have high expectations and that we're realizing some success with the education of our students. Uh number six, professional capacity of school personnel. Making sure that we're developing and supporting the people that we have. Um that's particularly important given that resources are continuing to be restricted um or reduced. So, we need to make sure that we're very efficient and very effective. Uh professional community. Making sure that we foster professional community of teachers and professional staff. Again, to make sure that um we're communicating effectively and that we're providing good opportunities for um for our staff. And then, one that's probably been most important for me during my
time in this role is just meaningful engagement. Um obviously, there's been a huge effort to improve communications and connection within not only the district but the community. Um and so, that one felt right. Not to say that any of these others are less important. Um certainly open to whatever the board decides the emphasis should be. Um but that was just uh a first take at the conversation Jim and I had. >> [clears throat] >> I mean, this juncture just to cuz Joe's going to be taking He's going to do his self-eval before our next meeting. And so, this is a not that if you have thoughts beyond this, we can't take them. But this is a place for us to say hey, we want some additional evidence on the prioritized areas. So, if anyone has
uh out of these 11 one that you think absolutely needs to be uh kind of prioritized or if you feel like this list is is good to go from your perspective. Again, Joe will rate himself on all of the standards and sub-standards. Quantitatively, this would be the opportunity to add additional kind of like qualitative evidence and some some reflection. >> Well, >> I was just going to say, remind me because Joel, you had already we had talked about what things we wanted you to focus on and and your goals. And can you remind me what those were because I thought we did limit it to three because we thought >> We started at three and then we increased it to five. >> Okay. Okay. Thank you. >> Terry, here's >> I have a copy if
you want it. >> But the the goal areas are student achievement, operational referendum planning, community engagement, the construction oversight and management process and that's one where number nine could potentially fall in the line there. And then principal support and professional development. So, I I did take that into consideration when I highlighted some of these. Um frankly, it was hard to narrow it down to just five given all the I mean, it's been a busy year. >> Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Okay, thank you. I just wanted to be reminded. >> And just as a reminder and I believe I shared this with our two new board members and I should get you the link. I I do have my goals dashboard which I take a look at every Monday morning just to see if there are any
updates given where we're at this time of the year. Much of it is accomplished, but um there are a couple things we're still working on. So, I'll I'll make a note to send that to both Melissa and Kayla, but um certainly, if you have any questions after looking at that, let me know. >> Thank you. >> Thanks. Questions here. >> Jim, I would agree 11 is too many. But, you know, I think what Joel circled here is probably the emphasis areas. >> Okay. >> And you know, nine item nine I is new. >> There's some important ones as well. >> Yeah, I can add that. That's not a problem. >> Yeah, I mean, if that's consensus, that's just my personal opinion. >> I have I have plenty of evidence for that one, Phil, so that
I think that makes sense. So, what >> I feel like it was a seven pretty easily, too. >> Nine and seven kind of match up. [clears throat] >> Yeah, I was trying to mentally map these, and I'm like, there's a kind of a very complicated Venn diagram here, but Great. Any other concerns or strong opinions folks want to voice? Okay. Well, thank you for time on the evaluation uh process. And then, as the next step, Joe's going to get his self-eval link um sometime in the next week and a half. And then, we will get a special meeting scheduled uh that last week in May. >> Great. Okay. With that, that is the end of our new business. Now, we're on to informational items. I've got one with Do you have anything for administration? >>
wanted to share Leanne sent her regrets. She was ill today, so she wasn't able to make it. So, she felt bad, but I just wanted to share that's why Leanne wasn't here. Other than that, sorry for the uh board docs disruption. And Melissa worked really hard today to get everything put together, um taking us back to the old days of uh paper and pencil, but uh appreciate her efforts to make sure that everything was ready to go with what was not a typical board meeting. So, thank you. Thanks, Melissa. Um and then, uh one item for me, so Melissa's got a a survey ready to go so that all the board members are going to get a survey gauging your interest in kind of different committees. And so, one of the after we set officers,
one of the next things we have to do is figure out who's on each committee and who's going to play leadership roles there. So, just be on the lookout for a survey from Melissa and then hopefully I'll be able to get that uh kind of short up before our next board meeting. Okay. Next up, we've got Board of Ed uh correspondence. I've got nothing here, but I think we might have something coming later tonight. Um Okay. Committee reports. So, usually we start down at the south, work our way here, and then go back to the north and work our way here. So, uh Caleb, if you have any committee reports, this is >> Well, I think a good >> [laughter] >> Happy you're here. Terry. >> Uh EIE is doing grant selections on Wednesday. That's
one of the really fun nights of the year for EIE. >> I'll still be there for that. >> Oh, awesome. >> [clears throat] >> Um so, they are starting the meeting early at 2:45. And we have 24 grants, which is an awesome number to have cuz last year we had like seven. So, it's going to be very competitive this year, and it'll be exciting. So. And you guys will get to hear who those grant recipients are at our May board meeting. >> Good. >> Uh finance did not meet tonight. The meeting was postponed with Ron being out of the country. >> It's cool. >> Uh curriculum will meet the first Monday in May. So, we'll have a curriculum meeting before the board meeting in May, the first meeting. >> Teresa. What's anything you want to
share? >> Not tonight. All right. >> No, I don't have anything. Are we going to do a finance meeting at the next meeting too. >> Uh yes. >> [snorts] >> And curriculum also >> Okay. Yeah, so curriculum might start early. Sometimes when that happens curriculum starts early. >> You have an ELO update. So, maybe just a little bit early we'd be fine. >> Or we can times we've done it where one committee meets in one room and the other committee in here if we really we don't want people to have to come in too early. So, we'll we'll let Todd and Ron fight it out and get it set up. He'll be >> [clears throat] >> He's as happy as can be. I don't know if I've ever seen him happier right now. >> Whatever
you want to do. >> Yeah. Anything else for me? Um any agenda items for future discussion and this is just an open for Moses and Caleb. There's kind of something you would like to hear more about down the road. It doesn't mean it it will definitely show up on an agenda, but this is a place to give me feedback um and I kind of what how our agendas take shape over time. So, anything that folks want to share? >> Side note, um I bet Leanne would have been great for this, but um how did the fine arts fair go? [snorts] >> Um extremely well. I haven't seen the summary report from Susan. Todd may have had some conversation, but just being over there during the fine arts festival um incredible experience. Kids had a lot
of fun. Um we had a wide variety of of artists and professionals that came in and participated. I went to the empty bowl dinner on Thursday night and that went well. Um there's always a a lot of great pottery there and the food was excellent. So, thank you to the community for the support for that. Um I'm talking to Susan and Jan. They're just so grateful that they continue to have the support for that that event because it's a special thing. Um most schools don't have anything like that and to have people come from all over the place. This isn't just mineral artists. And one of my favorite things is we always bring in uh an artist from my high school, one of our former art teachers. So, I get to teach um our art
teacher at Parkside is his mother, but um so, it's always fun, but we'll have Neil and Margie come in, and they do projects, and it just shows you how excited they are to be a part of this project because it's a special event. So, overall, it went great. >> Good. Don't forget about the MHS eggplant sale coming up May 3rd. >> I got two quick things here. First one is I uh I had the opportunity to attend my first Northside Circus last week. Uh I didn't realize that's been going on for 50 over 50 years. I thought all the kindergarteners and staff and uh faculty that put that on did a fantastic job. Uh it's great to see every student be able to participate and take pride in a performance like that. So, that was
really really great. Uh second thing was is Les and I last Wednesday had the opportunity to attend the Wisconsin uh school board association uh new board member conference forum, whatever you want to call it. Uh I thought it was really good. Every presenter's name was Bob. So, [laughter] I don't know if that's a continuing thing or just that's the pre-requisite for the uh being a presenter, but overall, it was really good. They talked about different types of communication and things to expect. Uh we were able to connect with a lot of other area new board members. Um there were actually a few board members that had been there quite a while. They just wanted to come for a refresher, so that was really good to kind of hear their perspective on things. So, overall, it
was really good event, and I would highly recommend if people hadn't gone in the past. >> Great to hear just you know, things to do and to do do. Um just to have that yes and no list was really helpful in the whole packet of information that I've been carefully parsing through. So, really appreciated going though. I'll also toss in um coming up next week Wednesday, May 6th is at 3:45 the student athlete signing for the um athletes that are going to go on to play at college. And then also that night at 6:00 p.m. is the um scholarship night for the seniors. Prom is Saturday as well. Um so, they're bringing lots of kings and queens from the past. So, definitely it'll be a fun grand march. And then post prom afterwards is shaping
up to be wonderful. So, they'll have a great party. >> Yeah. Okay. Thank you for the the [clears throat] updates. Is there anything else for future discussion, things you want to see on a future meeting? Just want to make sure Yeah, >> [clears throat] >> we'll go back to committee. That's okay. Committee and general updates. Okay. Uh liaison reports, we've got no liaisons here tonight. We have got Adam. Good to see you. 5 minutes for the press. I'm putting you on the clock. >> All right. Welcome to the two new members. Uh good to see you. Excited to be here. Everybody support you. Go week by week. And >> [laughter] >> Let me get my timer set. All right. With that, we've got uh 8:09 p.m. I would look for a final motion to adjourn.
>> So moved. >> Motion by Terry. >> Second by Steve. All in favor say aye. >> Aye. >> Opposed, nay. The meeting is adjourned. Thanks, everybody. Thank you. >> [clears throat] >> Another job easy.
