Ladies and gentlemen, it is now 7 o'clock p.m. and a quorum of members is present. So, the meeting of the board of education of the school district of New Berlin is called to order. Please call the role. >> Miss Kik here. >> Mr. Cidle >> here. >> Miss Schultz >> here. >> Mr. Zinsky >> here. >> Mr. Helmer. Uh, so Mr. Helmer let me know he's unavailable to attend this evening. In recognition of the serious and important nature of our efforts here, we will join in the pledge of allegiance to the flag. For all those who are able, please rise. >> Algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the stands nation andice for all. And now for those who wish to prepare for the meeting, we will have a moment

of silence. This is a public meeting of the board of education. Prior to this meeting, notice was given to the public last Friday by providing the agenda to the city library. The agenda was also posted on the district website. A copy of the agenda was forwarded to the Journal Sentinel and the Wakaawa Freeman, all of which have filed requests for all public notices. We'll begin this evening with the oath of office of our newly elected board members. Unfortunately, Justice uh Rebecca uh Rebecca Bradley is unable to be here this evening. So, we did arrange for um another officient to uh do the oath of office. that we have with us this evening, Jo Jeffell, and he is the Brookfield Municipal Judge as well as the city attorney for uh for Mosquo. So what we'll have

is uh uh the oath of office will be uh done individually to each newly elected board member and then they will sign the appropriate papers and when they're done they will come and take their seat then at the table here and we will immediately go into the reorganization of the board to elect our president vice president clerk and treasurer. So we can go ahead and begin with our oaths of office. >> Oh so we're looking Okay. >> Yeah. And you can face each other while you're up. Yeah. >> As you come up. >> Is somebody coming up that >> Yes. >> Oh, there we go. Oh, >> so why don't we Should we start with the U man? >> I'm all confused. Right. >> Sorry. Okay. All right. Well, thank you for allowing me to

be here. I know it's not what everybody expected. >> We appreciate that you could come on short notice. Thank you. >> We went from Supreme Court to municipal judge, so it's [laughter] kind of a little bit It's fun to do swearing in because weddings and swearing in are fun. Otherwise, people are mad at you all the time. So, all right. So, Mr. >> Erand. >> All right. All right. So, we will swear you in now. Thank you for your patience. All right. Please raise your right hand and repeat after me. I, Matthew Erand, >> I, Matthew Erand, >> having been elected to the Office of New Berlin School Board. >> Having been elected to the Office of New Berlin School Board, >> swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States. >> Swear

that I will support the Constitution of the United States. and the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin >> and and the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin >> and will faithfully and impartially >> discharge the duties of set office >> to the best of my ability. >> So help me God. >> Congratul It's an honor to swear you. [applause] So, I think you need to >> Okay, you need to sign right here. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> All right, Miss Peterson, now I got it down. only be two of us, but now I got to tell them. All right, ma'am. Are you ready to be sworn in? All right, raise your right hand and repeat after me. I, Amanda Peterson >> I, Amanda Peterson, >> having been elected to the office of New Berlin

School Board, >> having been elected to the office of New Berlin School Board, >> swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, >> swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, >> and the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin, >> and the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin, >> and will faithfully and impartially >> discharge the duties of set office >> to the best of my ability. to the best of my ability. >> So help me God. >> Congratulations. An honor. [applause] >> Can you sign? >> Thank you. >> All right. Thank you. Congratulations. You can come take your seat now. Thank you again. >> Thank you for coming. Okay. So I will preside over the first vote which is the election of president and then the newly elected

president whether that's me or someone else will preside over the election of the other officers um and then also make appointments of the board delegates and liaison and CISA to CISA one and the new Berlin city council. Uh so per the procedure we approved in 2023 members will by default wave their right to a closed ballot. So we used to do closed ballot but now we are doing just by um a show of hands unless a motion is made and seconded and passed at this time to use a closed ballot. So if we want to do a closed ballot I would need your motion now. Okay. So we will proceed then with the showing of hands to um uh elect our our officers. The first vote is for the election of president to the board.

And so before um this evening, I asked all of the board members and the future board members to let me know which positions they were interested in. Um nobody did voice an interest in president. I said I am willing to do it again. So is there a motion to uh do I have a nomination to uh elect me as president again? >> I'll make a nomination to elect Janet Schulz as our president. >> Okay. So we don't need a second for these. It's just uh all in favor raise your right hand. So that nomination passes. I will continue on as your president. So the next one is for vice president of the board. I uh only heard from Mitch Helmer that he would like to continue in this position. Do I have a motion? I'm

sorry, a nomination for Mitch Helmer. >> I'll make a nomination for Mitch Helmer. >> Then all those in favor, raise your right hand. >> So he will continue as vice president. Next we have our clerk. So this was a position uh formerly held by Amy Crosby. So it is open. I did hear from Ron Cidle and from um Mandy Peterson uh that they are interested in this position. So do I have a nomination for either of these people to be our clerk? >> I nominate Ron Zidle. >> Okay. So then all of those in favor of Ron Cidle, raise your right hand. Then Ron is going to be our clerk. And finally, we'll be voting for treasurer of the board. And I did hear from Matt Arend that he is interested in this position. So,

do I have a nomination for Matt? >> I'll make a motion to nominate Matt Erand as treasurer. >> And all those in favor of Matt, raise your right hand. Motion, not motion, nomination passes. And so Matt will then become our treasurer. So there's a few other positions that are also open that are appointed by the president and so I have um the position of CISA 1 delegate and Mandy voiced um interest in this. So will you accept that appointment as our CISA1 delegate? >> I'll accept. >> Thank you. And then we also have um the common council leaison and um I did have a few interests in those um but I would like to appoint Ron Cidle as our common council li leaison. Uh Ron would you accept that appointment? Okay. And then we have

our three committees. So we have our finance, our facilities and our personnel. So I'll start with the finance committee. Um, for finance committee, I would like to appoint Matt Arend as the uh, chair and then Mitch to serve on that and also Matt Zinski. So, uh, Matt Aren, are you good with being our chair of that one? >> I accept the nomination. >> Okay. And then Matt Sinsky, are you good with being a member? Okay. All right. And then we have our facilities. And I would like to appoint Matt Zinsky as the chair, have Ron uh be a member, and Mitch be a member. So Matt Solinsky, are you good with being the chair? >> Okay. And then Ron, are you good with being on the committee? Great. And personnel. Um, so our chair has

been Renee. I would like to continue with Renee. And so are you good with that as well? Okay. And then Mandy and I will also be committee members. So Mandy, are you good with that? All right. So there you go. We have our um our positions all filled now. And uh the next item is a privilege of the floor. Do we have any privilege of the floor? >> None. >> All right. Then uh then it's president's message. So I do have a a little message, an announcement. So um thank you for everybody who's coming here this evening to support our new members. And I want to sincerely thank my fellow board members for your continued confidence in reelecting me as president. I value your trust and I'm ready to get back to work. Many thanks

also go out to all of you serving as an officer, delegate, liaison, and committee members. Your willingness to take on these extra responsibilities is greatly appreciated. And to our new newest members, Matt and Mandy, welcome. We are glad to have you with us and look forward to the fresh perspectives you'll bring to our discussions. And during our last meeting, as we said farewell to our outgoing members, I shared a sentiment, a sentiment that I believe is vital for this board to carry forward. The necessity of having thick skin and soft heart as we take on the challenges of the coming year. May we maintain the thick skin needed to make difficult decisions with steady resolve and the soft heart required to remain compassionate and connected to the people we serve. With that balance in mind,

I look forward to a productive year and getting things done together. Um, and this evening, I also want to make a little announcement. It's a little different. We normally start off our evening with um with a close session. So, today we're doing a close session at the end to allow for our new board members after they're swearing in to be able to participate in that. So, we will have that at the end um and then come back at the very end to do our voting um in open session then at the end. So, if you want to stick around that long, you're welcome to, but if not, that is okay. Next, we have our administrative team report. >> Yeah, I'd like to introduce our uh principal and associate principal, uh Ryan Sam's, associate principal, and

Jamie Vil from Elmwood. [clears throat] Good evening and thank you so much for having us here tonight to represent Elmwood. I'm Jamie Vil, the principal at Elmwood Elementary. Again, joined by Ryan Sams, our associate principal. And we also have members from our school community with us tonight, and I will be introducing them to you shortly. Here is Elmwood's mission. We want to highlight that we continue to work hard to empower our students to set goals and challenge them to reach their full potential. You'll hear from some students tonight that exemplify our mission at Elmwood. We are especially thankful, as you look at our vision, we are especially thankful and proud of how we work collaboratively with our families and communities. Just last week, we came together as an entire school team and raised almost $60,000

for our school and students. This is what makes Elwood a truly special place where students thrive because of that partnership. These are our six core beliefs that many of you have seen before. They are the foundation of all of our work guiding our decisions, our actions, and our priorities. Together, we ensure that we are consistently striving towards excellence in every classroom and every initiative that we have and every outcome as we continue to roar forward after the fall. After the fall tells a simple yet powerful story that growth doesn't come from avoiding failure. It comes from how we respond to it. It's all about transformation, perseverance, and ultimately becoming stronger because of the challenges that we face. Each of you will find this book at your spots and we hope that you enjoy the beauty

and inspiration that has given our staff this year and students. Additionally, Ryan and I have visited every classroom to begin the year. read the story and goal set with each of our students. These reflections were then shared with our families at conferences and helped our students to set goals during their spring testing window. We will now share with you two stories of a second and sixth grade student that highlights their transformation over the year. Our belief of every child is my child and we are a team is brought to life in these amazing stories of growth, a love for learning and teaching at Elmwood. With us tonight is one of the students families, Lorenzo Grillit's family and one of his teachers, Miss MW. Each year, Mr. Sams and I choose a book that aligns with

our school beliefs and goals at Elmwood. We have truly loved presenting our chosen book, After the Fall by Dan Santan this year. This wonderful book tells the story of what happened after that most famous nursery rhyme fall. How Humpty Dumpty survived and then decided to get back up again. It is inspirational, funny, and gives us all the feels at the end. Mr. Sams and I read the book to our staff and connected it to our core beliefs throughout the school year. We also visited all of our classrooms twice to read and encourage our Lion Cubs to think about how they will grow over the year. Goal setting is a big part of our processes. Learning is the work. This year, our focus is passion, perseverance, and finally transformation. We are excited to share two incredible

stories about how this has come to life at Elwood. I've had the opportunity to work with Abe in both tier one instruction as well as in a tiered intervention using the BLAST program. And doing both of these programs has really enabled Abe to become a successful reader and is allowing him and empowering him to be an expert during skills instruction. So, he's been able to kind of take the lead and has helped to teach students in the classroom what we're doing. Is this first syllable inhabit? Is it going to be open or is it going to be closed? >> Closed. >> How do you know? >> Because there's a cuz after the vowel there's going to be a consonant and it's going to be a short sound. >> I thought that reading was like like

it was a little bit hard until me and Mr. Bur started doing the groups. I felt frustrated more like like before we even done the groups like at the beginning of the school year like during skills that was pretty hard to read. It got easier the more weeks and days and months passed. I made mistakes on the way, but that but the more you mistakes you make, the better you learn cuz mistakes help you learn. You I'll tell them that uh you can say this to yourself that I won't give up and I'll keep trying. And I'll say that the more you learn, the better you get. My name is Ashley MW and I'm the EL instructional coach at Elmwood. In my two years in the district, I have gotten to work with a diverse

range of students. In addition to a student who has experienced much much success in our program, Lorenzo Gerlet, >> I was worried about starting a new school because I was worried that other students laugh at me because I didn't know the language. When some kids laugh at me, I felt worried cuz I didn't feel like continuing the school cuz like I didn't want that everybody else start laughing at me, not just one kid. But even though kids laugh at me, that didn't stop me to coming from school. I kept going to school and it got better. Teachers make me feel comfortable because they could explain explain me what to do. Miss Malcolm helped by explaining in step in steps the thing that I had to do. I don't give up cuz then I'm not going

to I'm not going to learn. I'm proud of how quickly I learned the English language. It was good to make a mistake cuz then the next time I would do it, I wouldn't have the same mistake. I keep trying cuz I wanted to make the goal. Hopefully, you'll remember me as the egg who got back up and learned how to fly. The story of After the Fall is also playing out in real time through our first Lego League robotics program. It has been an adventure and a wonderful learning experience this year. What we are seeing is more than students just building robots. We are seeing students build resilience. They are engaging in complex problem solving, collaborating with peers, and learning things that didn't work the first time or even the fifth time. This is a

shift from compliance-based learning to authentic studentdriven experiences. This is the impact of innovative learning environments. To bring this to life, we've invited two members of our team that really started this at our school along along with some students to share their experiences directly. You also see this journey reflected in the videos and the data that we share highlighting not just academic growth but growth in perseverance, confidence and identity as learners. This is what true transformation looks like and it's changing how we approach our education for our students. So tonight with us, if we could have just our students stand, we have several students with us tonight. Um, we have Audrey, Audrey, Joey, Ethan, and my homo. Could you stand please? We want to thank you for being here tonight and being a part of this

wonderful program. And then we also have um Ela Ghart, and she's gonna come up and speak along with Joey speaking. And Jenny Schley Reed as well. She is the other leader of the program. All right. So, before they um kind of kick that off, what's very exciting about this, I'm the digital learning coach throughout the school district. And um what's really come to life here at Elmwood is a lot of the things we do with our design thinking and maker learning is really present in the Lego League, which um you can see in some of the pictures and you'll see in the video. But then also, this is reinforcing and a way for students to apply a lot of their learning um that we're doing around the computer science program that we've initiated in the

last few years. So Elaine wanted to kind of also explain the program a bit more. >> Um, yeah. So my name is Ela Gearhart. I'm a student learning assistant at Elmwood. Um, I was really excited to be a part of this process to bring uh First Lego League to Elmwood. Uh, the program's been around since the late 1980s. Um, and it's just a really great opportunity for kids to kind of learn um, with their own hands and with their own minds. Um, and this is Joey here. He's going to tell you about a couple of things that liked and and learned from the program. >> Hello, my name is Joey. One of my favorite moments in Lego League is when you can go to the like the challenge meeting and show off what you've learned

throughout the year and what you've built and how it works and you can show other people. One thing that I can also take away from this is ha to have courage and perseverance. Even though it may feel like you're not doing good at the moment, you can always build upon that and try better the next time. >> T-shirt designed by designed by a parent at Elwood. I love it. [laughter] >> Thank you. So, at this time we have one more video and this is highlighting our Lego League this year and the journey at Elwood Elementary School in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Curiosity is turning into creativity [music] and ideas are coming to life through robotics. This year, Elmwood started a new first Lego League team. Each year, teams around the world take on realworld scientific challenges.

Using teamwork, creativity, and problem solving, students design, build, and program Lego robots to complete missions on a themed game board. [music] And it was just very engaging and fun to look forward to because it was like, hm, what am I going to do today or what could I improve? >> I liked that you were able to like work on the robots with minimal like adult [music] help. like it was mostly just run by kids which I think is really cool. >> Just like keep trying to work towards a goal and it like taught [music] me that like there's always going to be obstacles in your way but you just have to overcome them. >> At the same time they research real issues connected to the challenge and develop innovative solutions of their own. For the

innovation project, the Elmwood Lego League researched a realworld problem that they identified and had the opportunity to speak with experts, [music] including an archaeologist from the Kenosha Public Museum. Based on their research, students created the Excalwood as a new solution for safely obtaining artifacts at a dig [music] site. They then presented their idea to the professionals and gained valuable skills through the experience. >> The innovation part is probably my favorite because it's like you get to like think of things that would help others and like you build prototypes and write a script and figure out how to like work out a problem in a bunch of different ways and see which one works best. and [music] presentation skills because I don't really talk in front of crowds a lot. >> For our first year at

Elmwood, 8, fifth, and sixth grade students met weekly to design, test, and refine their ideas, preparing for their first competition [music] in November. After the competition, these students shared their learning with classmates, families, and the community throughout the school year, demonstrating their robots and inspiring others through school events and learning opportunities. Building on the success of this first year, Elwood is committed to growing and sustaining the robotics club, [music] expanding STEM and STEAM opportunities, and strengthening other programs, including the school's maker space, computer science learning through code HS, and student access to robotics and 3D printing. Through the Elmwood Lego League, students are developing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving skills. Most importantly, these experiences help prepare students for the future, [music] creating a strong foundation for middle school and high school robotics programs [music]

and continuing pathways in STEM and STEAM education. At Elmwood Elementary, the future is being built. One idea, one robot, and one team at a time. Okay. Um, just a few more highlights at Elmwood. Here you can see how we roar. Our first all school career expo with over 21 presenters this year. students working in our maker space and our annual all school field trip to the wave game in which nearly 900 students and families joined us this year. Pretty neat. We are a team. Our belief of we are a team is seen here through our musical where 70 stu 72 students participated including our phenomenal stage crew biz at fifth grade and our band orchestra and choir winter concert. What you can see here are the opportunities that are provided to our students through our

community and families. It is what makes us us. So the same mindset we're seeing in robotics and daily student experience iteration, perseverance, and problem solving is also transforming our core instruction. In interventions and retaching groups, students are engaging more deeply, taking ownership of their learning, and showing increasingly willingness to persist through challenges. This shift is translating into stronger performance across our screeners with more students de demonstrating measurable growth and closing gaps. And at the same time, we recognize this work is ongoing. While the progress is encouraging, we continue to refine our practices to ensure every student experiences this level of growth. So in this next slide, these are our goals created with our leading builders leading buildership building leadership team including teacher leaders after examining our data and we knew that this was our work

for us this year. These goals are incredibly aggressive and ambitious as we work towards student growing more than one school year during the school year. So in this next slide here are a few hit literacy celebrations since the start of the school year. We are particularly proud of our intervention work in bringing students in for rigorous retaching and mediation particularly with our K5 students and uh dismissing 21 students uh since November from formal intervention. We also know that while we've seen incredible growth and achievement thus far, there are three areas we continue to monitor and want to continue through our spring uh season. We're in the midst of our executing our action steps outlined above and look forward to our spring screeners beginning next week. And then here in math, we continue to show steady

growth and high achievement. Uh we've worked diligently to increase our minutes in Alex and Redbird usage and have seen across gains across the board. And again, we're particularly proud of the growth seen in our students that are below the 40th percentile. And just as an ELA, we continue to see areas of continued growth in math. However, in math, we've seen some exceptional growth and achievement thus far. And while we've nearly crushed all of our school goals, we continue to focus on the above action step in conjunction with those ELA steps outlined before. >> Thank you for having us this evening. And we just want to leave you with we will always >> always >> oh but really always >> always >> roar towards excellence. >> [applause] >> This would be a time if you'd like

to step out of the meeting. Thank you to our guests from Elwood. We really appreciate it. And other guests as well. All right. Uh, moving on. I will, uh, defer any comments to the regular agenda. So, I'll hand it over to Oliver at this time to provide the New Berlin West update. >> Spring is in the air and students are preparing for tests and having fun. All freshmen completed the civics exam, which not only makes them learn more about the country, but also helps them gain an appreciation for those taking the test for their citizenship. Freshman and sophomores also took practice ACTs with real sim simulated scores to prepare for the real test as juniors. During the underassman's testing times, upper classmen had the opportunity to attend AP review sessions to prepare for AP testing.

Classes are locking in for incoming tests and projects. Anatomy and physiology students dissected sheep brains to understand anatomy and structure of our own brains. AP biochemistry, calculus, and human geography are all taking simulation exams to prepare for upcoming AP exams in May. Clubs are moving and also creating. New Berlin West DECA is sending three members to the international career development conference in Atlanta with amazing amazing workshops, networking opportunities, and a chance to place internationally at the competition. Best Buddies hope it hosted Jeopardy after school with prizes and fun group activities. Salude did an amazing job hosting prom with themed spirit days like the 2020 Tik Tok trends, a fun-filled Friday pep rally, and prom with good food and dancing. Spring sports are enjoying the outdoors and the weather. Track and field move outdoors as after

a successful indoor season and is ready to dominate. And girls soccer is doing great this season with a 4-1 record. three of which no girl no goals were scored against them. Thank you. Thank you. Then we have our district reports which include the incident report, the suspension report, the enrollment report, and the donations report. Mr. Ren, would you please read the donations report? So, first is Ronald Ronald Reagan Home and School. Uh, donation $5,89620. Another one by Ronald Reagan Home and School. Donation $1,95963. Third, Ronald Reagan Home and School donation $2,99349. Elwood Home and School donation $1,400. Orchard Lane PFC donation $1,200. Uh anonymous gift donation of $30,000. Uh Jason Jason R. Graham donation of $1,000. New Berlin and Eisenhower baseball donation of $498.60 and Focus Baseball LLC donation of $2,000. >> Thank you to

all of our donors. The next item on the agenda is the consent agenda which includes the notice the approval of minutes of the board meeting of April 13th and also our financial reports. Are there any items that should be pulled out for separate consideration? Uh then do I have a motion for the consent agenda? >> Motion to approve >> second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Cidle and a second by Miss Kik to approve the consent agenda as presented. Any discussion? Then hearing none. All those in favor raise your right hand. Motion passes. On to our regular agenda. We have um discuss approve the outdoor track resurfacing at Ike and West. Does do you have something to present to us first? >> No. Uh so um as I mentioned last time, >> uh for

those of you that aren't aware, we did pull together an outdoor facilities task force uh that uh included staff, community members, uh and others. And um as part of that, we did a feasibility study to determine what, if anything, we could raise uh in fund raise dollars uh to support that effort. Essentially, we did identify two potential lead gifts of which one of them was a rather large gift as you need large gifts to essentially be the basis for large fundraising efforts. Uh and unfortunately that uh our pitch uh was uh unsuccessful uh for that large gift. Um and a as a result of that uh we have been pursuing the other potential lead but we have determined that we're moving in a different direction for that potential gift. Uh that does not include outdoor

facilities and fields. Uh as part of the process we identified that uh we needed to set aside approximately a million dollars for the Eisenhower track and the West track. uh they've they're they're they've aged uh to the point where uh we can only typically use them for practices. Uh and so um one of the things that we decided to do was based on the information that we initially had was from our previous uh director of facilities. our current director of facilities uh and Patrick uh wanted to ensure that uh that we actually had to redo the tracks from literally below the ground and up. And uh we did a study and we received very good news based off of that study that in fact rather than having to fully replace both tracks, we can actually

resurface them. Originally we had set aside a million dollars for each track. We're actually now down to $150,000 for each track to resurface each. Uh, as I had mentioned in a board update, my written board update, um, if we wanted to do the the turf within those stadiums, that would need to be approximately $4 million more in order to do that. And we do not at this time recommend us moving forward with turfing those fields at that cost. Um, and I do know that uh I was approached by a board member after the last meeting. Uh, I did provide that update, but I did not hear anything else from other board members indicating one way or the other. Um, and so obviously we had two more board members that were leaving, so they really had

no skin in the game anymore. But even they did not give me any suggestion or recommendation. Uh so at this time we do not have any imminent plans to re redo those fields. Uh if we were to do something uh it's not going to be within the time that these resurfacing uh is going to be uh you know so like we're not going to be recommending turf fields in the next five years, seven years. uh just you know financially we've got a couple difficult years that we need to weather through including this year and next year and we know that uh and we're prepared to navigate through that but to expend an additional $4 million from our fund balance is something that we would not recommend at this time or any any time in the

near future. And so with that, we are recommending that um we do move forward with these tracks uh with the resurfacing of both tracks and uh would like your approval tonight so that we can secure uh with the contractor to get that done this summer. >> How long do these um resurfacing how long what's the age? >> So we're looking at usually five to seven years based on you know obviously you've got uh weather that you've got to deal with. uh you've also got to deal with actual like how often is it being used and so um we we do believe it's you know that's an accurate uh uh you know five to seven I mean I they can't guarantee like seven uh and that's why they give you that that uh that five to

sevenyear window. >> How old are our current ones? >> Patrick uh when was the last time we actually did anything to the tracks? I would have to look that up. I It's been a while. I mean, it's I've been here for eight years and it was se several years before that. >> So, what are we looking at for for a motion? Just a motion to approve the outdoor track resurfacing project at Ike and West or do we include the three 300,000? >> I don't think we need the the price. I mean, that is what what it what it is. Uh so we're just asking for approval as it is noted there. >> Okay. Then do I have a motion to approve the auto or track resurfacing projects at Ike and West? >> I'll make a

motion to approve. >> I second the motion. >> I have a motion by Mr. Cidle and a second by Mr. Ren to approve the outdoor track resurfacing project at Iken West. Is there any discussion? No. Then all those in favor raise your right hand. Motion approved. Then we have discuss approved CISA 1 contract. I don't know if you want to give a Oh, go ahead. I was going to say give a little background especially with the new members. >> Yes, of course. Uh so CISA 1 is our regional co-op cooperating agency. Uh Mandy, you're going to be working with them as as in your new role. Um but essentially CISAs are uh divided up throughout the state of Wisconsin and they are an intermediary to provide supplemental services, training uh and other things. Uh they
