Hello, members of the board. Money Gardens is a special kind of school with a deeply engaged parent community and many staff members who have served our school for decades. Over the years, we have experienced numerous principal transitions. As a result, our staff are deeply attuned to these turnovers, and we know the difference between leadership that strengthens a school and leadership that breaks it down. For that reason, I want to sincerely thank those responsible for hiring Mr. Bennett as our school principal this past year. With extensive experience in both the United States and international schools across Asia and Latin America, he brought a global perspective that was a natural fit for our IB program. Despite arriving just before the school year began and facing the challenges of relocating and settling into a new community, Mr. Bennett

hit the ground running on our campus. Well, walking if he was in school or in the hallways. Um, in just one year, Mr. Bennett meaningfully built meaningful relationships with staff, students, and families. He was visible, approachable, and responsive. He supported struggling students, listened to families, admitted mistakes when warranted, and consistently demonstrated humility and integrity. His leadership was grounded not only in title or not in titles or authority, but in genuine care for the people around him. Mr. Bennett's swift and unwarranted departure has left many of us with a profound sense of loss. Just as trust and stability were being rebuilt, the district tore them down. In three years, we will have had three school principles. That we feel is a failure of the system, not of our school. History and patterns repeat themselves. Previous actions

by the district have shown that community input was often solicited only after key decisions were already made, leaving stakeholders with a false sense of involvement. It's discouraging to see that pattern still continue. If community voices are invited into the conversation, they must matter before decisions are made, not after. If transparency is promised, it must be practiced. And if stability is valued, it must be protected. We respectfully ask the board and superintendent to look within these walls and ask why principal turnover has become such a persistent pattern across our district. Our children in schools should not bear the consequences of repeated leadership disruption. Tonight is not just about one principle, though he is central to this conversation. It is about a system that continues to lose leaders who have earned the trust of their communities. Trust

takes time and effort to build and only moments to break. Mr. Bennett earned that trust. His departure is not simply the loss of a principle. It's the loss of momentum and confidence in a process that too often feels predetermined. We ask you tonight not just to hear our concerns but to learn from them because the cost >> that was your time. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Just just that. >> Okay. Finish. >> Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We ask tonight that you not just hear our concerns, but you learn from them because the cost of repeated leadership turnover is not measured in staffing charts or organizational decisions. It is measured in the experiences of students, the morale of teachers, and the trust of families. Our school has done its part and we respectfully ask

the district leadership to do the same. Thank you. >> Thank you. Okay. Close session 3.1. Uh, negotiations.
