the invocation and pledge from Mr. John Bell. >> Let us stand, please. Let us pray. Dear Lord, we'd like to pray for all our students, staff, everyone in their summer that they all return and have a safe summer. We'd like to pray for everyone that's in here tonight and appreciate everyone for being here and like to pray for uh my little girl had a little girl last week. Need to pray for her and uh also um just thank you for everything you do for us. And please please help us with the uh crime that's taking place with the young folks around Dublin. It's got to stop and it's too much going on. And uh Amen. Amen. >> Let's pledge pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for

which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Thank you, Mr. Veil. >> We'll move on to item number three, which is the approval of the agenda. May I have a motion to approve the agenda? Madam Chair, I offer a motion to approve the agenda. >> May I get a second? >> We have a motion from Mr. Laneir and a second from Miss Peggy Johnson to approve the agenda. Any discussion? >> Discussion. Madam Chair, not request still not agenda. >> Yes, sir. I Mr. Kenny said that the request he made via email to me was still not on the agenda. Mr. Kenny, when you requested that, I said I can certainly put it on this agenda and you did not respond back. [clears throat] >> Okay. Any more discussion?

Okay, we've had a motion and a second. All in favor for approval of the agenda, please say I. >> I. >> All oppose? No. >> No. Eyes have it six to one. Okay. Item four, approval of the minutes for May 11th, May 18th, and the 21st of 2026. May I get a motion to approve the minutes of those three dates? >> I make motion we approve the uh minutes, >> okay, >> of those meetings. >> Mr. Bill made the motion. May I get a second? >> All right. Miss Peggy made the second. Motion and seconded for the approval of minutes of May 11th, 18th, and 21st, 2026. All in favor? I. >> I. >> All oppose? No. Eyes have it. Seven to zero. Next, we have the DCS board and protocol. I'll be reading from

board meetings. Number two, all board members will come to the meeting prepared by reviewing the packet in the email. Moving on to board code of ethics. I'll be reading from board meetings again. Number five, maintain the confidentiality of the discussions and other matters pertaining to the board and the school system during executive session of the board. All right. [clears throat] Next, Miss P. Do we have any public comments? >> Yes, we do. We have Miss Ray Bledworth. How you all doing? I am Ray Bloodworth. I will be standing here for every meeting. Just let me know if anyone of you all want to stand with me. My time is 3 minutes. I'll be standing here for the school, the teachers, the children, and administrators that want to stay in the school system. Seems like no

one is listening, so I'm just going to stand here. Just let me know when my time is up. I am standing for three minutes. If you would like to stand with me for the teachers, the children and administrators that's going to stay here in the school system, I don't have anything to say but stand. Thank you. >> Next we have Peter Lipsky. Good evening. My name is Peter Lipsky. Hello. My name is Peter Lipsky. And Miss Peggy, I'd like to say thank you to you. Uh, I got to look your I have it written down because my memory ain't as good as it used to be. Miss Joanna and Mr. Kenny, Kenny, I want to say thank you to you three for standing up against the others, okay? Just like what happened last week was

uncalled for out there here and out there, okay? Because they don't like what's being said. Let me tell you, I promised you that I was going to write. I wrote to Mr. Woods and I wrote to Mr. MDonald, okay? And if I don't hear nothing, I'm going to write them again and then call them. And if I don't get nothing from them, then I'm going to write to the governor of the state because something's wrong here. When the principal of Mor Street School stood at your building over there and stood up and said when I student left IG to her school and when she said it, I guess it was time for her that student to come out, y'all sent that student right back to IG. And that's not what these people are saying. It's

supposed to go back to the system like everybody else. And another thing I like to ask you to have a comment on, where is it in IGA we have to pay for school taxes for preschool? Tell me how do you rate for preschool in IGA? How does that work? Something's wrong here. And I'm going to keep writing and I'm going to keep speaking. I'm sorry if you don't like me. Next we have Courtney Con. Good evening. Uh my name is Courtney Con and I just want to raise a concern regarding the district's financial stability and long-term stability moving forward. Uh based on what we know, uh the financial reports presented during recent meetings along with the district's history of financial challenges. Um many in the community remain deeply concerned about the district's cash flow and

the possibility of additional financial strain as we continue waiting on tax revenue collections. The concern from the community is understandable because the Georgia Department of Education itself publicly described Dublin City Schools as being on a path to insolveny and financial crisis. while also describing the district's financial condition as tenuous, meaning very weak, flimsy, and lacks strong substance. So, when parents, teachers, and citizens ask difficult questions about cash flow, stability, staffing, and long-term planning, those concerns are not being created out of fear. but they are based on documented findings and public statements from the state itself. So my question this evening, given the current relationship between Dublin City Schools and the state board of education, does this board believe it is still in a position where the state would consider additional financial assistance or advancements if

needed to help the district continue operating? I asked because the community has heard concerns regarding the district's relationship with the state, particularly surrounding recommendations that may not have been fully implemented. Because of that, many of us are concerned about what contingency plans are truly in place if additional financial difficulties arise. This is not creating fear or negativity. It is about making sure there is a clear and responsible plan in place to protect our students, teachers, staff, and daily operations moving forward. Thank you. Next, we have Alfred Wheeler. members of the board of education, superintendent pool, staff, parents, and members of the community. As much as this pains me, because I have a great deal of respect for most of you who I know personally on this board, that and it pains me to say that

we are losing faith and confidence in this board's ability to consistively do what is right for the teachers, students, and families of Dublin City Schools. There continues to be lack of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Too many important decisions appear to be made in secrecy without the substant community input of full public discussion. While many of us in the community may not agree with some of the decisions made by this board, many have still tried in good faith to work alongside you to listen and to better understand why certain decisions were made. For example, we have repeatedly heard that certain actions and major decisions were based on recommendations from the state board of education. If that's the case, then this community deserves transparency. Can the details of those recommendations be shared with the public? If the

state guide guidance has influenced the direction of this district, then the community should not simply be expected to accept the decisions without explanation, without some type of documentation or meaningful discussion. Respect for the community requires openness, honesty, and communication. Let me be clear. We will always stand for what's true. We always will stand for fairness and what is right for all of the people of the city of Dublin. We stand for the teachers and the staff who care deeply about their students. Yet some may now have to take an additional jobs to offset the money that they have lost or may continue to lose next year. I stand for the parents who are worried about the future of their children and what ongoing accreditation concerns could mean for the students graduating from Dublin High School.

I also stand for those who may who may agree privately but are afraid to speak publicly because they fear retaliation or retribution. It deeply concerns me that while urgency appears to be the focus of certain projects and initiatives, this district continues to be loose lose highly qualified teachers, administrators, and respected leaders. That simply does not make any sense to me. A strong school system is built on trust, transparency, stability, and collaboration. When those things are missing, Maria suffers, confidence declines, and the good people begin to walk away. >> That's all of the public comments. Um, as far as our superintendent comments and announcements, I just want to welcome everyone for coming tonight. I appreciate you being here. Um, last the last day of school was on Friday and we had our graduations last week. Uh,

we had more street school on Thursday night and then we had our high school graduation on Friday night. And so we want to wish our graduates the best um of luck in their future. And there was lots of different honors nights as well uh that we attended. And I'm going to let Jason speak to this. You know what, Jason? I think I'll just go ahead and take care of it. I thought you had a mic back there. Um, so this is just some pictures from the class of 2026. We did have to move the graduation inside because of the weather. Um, and we were very thankful that we made that decision because it did come a downpour while we were in the graduation. And then you have more street schools graduation that was held here

in the auditorium. And then this past week we had the Lady Irish softball team tryyouts and they have uh lots of girls that went out and a a new team. And then we had our um eighth grade students that were um from Dublin Middle School and the Irish Gifted Academy and they did their step up um which is like an eighth grade graduation. And then we had our fifth grade step up program and that is their graduation and that also consisted of Dublin Middle School and the Irish Gifted Academy. And then you also see some Hillrest Elementary School honors night photos. And then we had our SDE honors night for third and fourth grade. And then our IG honors for fourth and eighth grade. Fourth through 8th grade, excuse me. Then our Irish baseball, they

had their um final banquet and um there was a a 20 win for this year. Um and that's that's not the first time we've done that, but um you know, it's it's a really good thing that that we had 20 wins. That's pretty amazing. And then last but not least, we had Jeff Davis and Emily Maddox that um were recognized as representatives um at the annual Jim Shakford Scholar Athlete Awards and that was um held by the or hosted by the Dublin Exchange Club. So we're proud of them as well. Can you go ahead? As far as general administration, we have um welding lab approval. So, I'm going to ask Doug Beth if he will come forward and talk to us about the welding lab. >> Good afternoon, board. Uh, I was asked by Miss

P to gather some information as far as what it's going to take to finish our wedding our welding lab to make it complete. And before you I have everything broke down uh per contractor and uh anywhere from Graham Electric, which is Steve Graham, uh, Middle Georgia Mechanical, they already have the duct work for the exhaust system already here. that's already been paid for. And what you see here is basically labor to install that. Um, we have asked QB2, we have a big plasma cutter that's in storage right now. That's that price there that that they were offered to move that from the storage and set it in the classroom for us. And if you don't know how big the plasma cutter is, it's bigger than that table that y'all sitting at right now. It's it's

it takes a fortlift to move that. And uh then I asked Mr. Tyler about we're going to need more welding curtains for I think this is going to be a 10 bay uh stall for welders. And then uh the last two items we got to run an airline for the plasma cutter and Dublin win is price of that airline and then the the Home Depot to miscellaneous is just some fittings that I may need that I may have not figured on. I know there's going to be a couple reducing bushings piping terms here, but I would need in order to hook up airlines for that. But this is uh basically a simple breakdown. And I think with Steve Graham is had everything written uh down that there is a lead time on a he's going

to have to set a transformer whether it be in the welding room itself or in the electrical room across the hallway. Uh but he's going to have to have basically get power out of that electrical room across from the hallway to supply enough power to run all this. Do y'all have any questions? Just glad to see we're finally moving forward with finishing it. That's been a very successful program for us. I'm sorry. I'm just happy to see we're going ahead and moving moving ahead to finish it. This has been a very successful program for us and our kids. So, this welding lab is very important. Madam ch uh superintendent, can we can we we can pay for this with splice funds, right? >> Okay. Okay, that was Mr. Walter's question as well. Great minds. >>

Anything else? Thank y'all. >> Any other questions? >> So, approximately half will be paid for by CTA funds and then the other half's loss funds. me. >> Okay. At this time, may we have approval? A vote for approval. May I get a motion on approval of the welding lab? >> I make the motion that we approve the funds and the doing the welding lab approval. >> I'll second. >> Mr. Bell has made the motion. Mr. Le made the second for the approval of the welding lab funds um and the moving forward to complete it. All in fa any discussion? All in favor? I. >> All oppose? No. >> Eyes have it. Seven to zero. The next thing on the agenda is the battle at the Rock Football Camp approval. And you have a sheet in

your packet that deals with that. Um it is a request from Coach Wilson. He is wanting to take um the offensive lineman uh to the battle at the Rock Football Camp. This is in Edington, Georgia. And the camp dates are June 5th through the 7th. Um the cost is $375 per athlete and that would be paid for through the football account. Um and he wants to take roughly 10 to 12 campers and two coaches. Um and this is um a camp that they've been to in the past and so they want to continue on with that. So we just need an approval for that. >> Second. >> Okay. Mr. Lir made the motion to approve the Battle of the Rock football camp. Mr. Bill made the second. Any discussion? Hold on. Hold on. I just

got a question about the funds. Uh, is this new or is this something we've done before? >> Okay. Any other discussion? >> All right. All in favor for the motion and the second of the Battle of the Rock football camp. All in favor? I. >> I. >> All oppose? No. Eyes have it. Seven to zero. Next we have financials. Think Miss Betty and Miss Lounder. You get two for one tonight. Uh, everybody, I'd like for Teresa to stand up. This is new CFO that started on May the 18th and she will be taking over and I'll be in an advisory position from here on out. Um, she comes with lots of experience and we are are honored to have her to join us. Thank you. Okay, I need revenues expenditures first. Where's Jason? There he

is. I'm sorry. There he goes. He blowed it up good for us. Our revenues, expenditures for the month of April. As you can see, we are still uh compared to last year, we have gotten more revenues in so far this year, but again, that's because we got preunding for QBE funding. So, this will even out at the end of the year in June. Uh we have been very diligent about uh our program directors on getting uh the funding to in spending the and spending funds as necessary. We all look at it. It's an agreement not based on just one person but based on a group of people. All right. on the expenditures by function. As you can see that we are uh our total year-to-ate expenditures are 23,000 23 23,249,07. We are 22 2.4 million

less than this time last year. So, we are definitely are holding out on expenditures and part of that was because we had a a reduction in staff. Um, any questions? >> Okay, dear. >> Only on the expenditures. >> Mhm. >> Let's see here. We have uh some uh some of the expenditures are higher for uh this particular month compared to last month. It could be because of rates have gone up or we have paid for a past due bill that had not been paid in the past that we got in our state in our our tax revenue that we're you know uh like Amazon it had to be called up. We're doing everything we can to bring this into accurate reporting but expenditures vary. >> We view budget but it varies. I mean you might

have one cost and it it could become another cost. Somebody said no we need to put this in this. So we have looked at all the expenditures and um they're representative of what now and this the budget was the original budget that began in September of 2026. This budget has not been uh reviewed and updated because we're trying to work on our next year's budget. So that's the reason there'll be variances in functions. These are just in functions. Um, anything else? >> No, I just noticed that and I was just wondering if >> if you we're buying stuff, new stuff or >> No, no, ma'am. Uh-uh. Spending as an an overall stop just about you. Okay. Anybody wants to spend something, it has to go through about four or five people to get it spent

unless it's a federal program. And if it's federal program then they can spend or if it's in like special education there are certain expenditures you have to spend special education to meet their maintenance of effort. >> Okay. Okay. Thank you. >> Okay. Next up is the balance sheet. And I know every one of y'all looked at that bottom line down there that said fund balance and question that. But we have um you know February was our last month that we received any QBE funding. So any funding any expenditures have been paid through our tax digest taxes that we have collected they've paid us and the majority of our tax is already been have already received like in February not February March and we get a check every month and it's ranging around 600 to 800,000

right now. So that's why our fund balance is a little low, but also our fund balance is low because we have an obligation to state health to pay back that money that we owe them. So you'll see the payroll withholdings there is 5.9. That's also includes not only these are end of month figures. Most of these payables are paid at in the beginning of the next month. This is what's due at the end of April 30th and it's been paid in May. But the payroll withholdings, majority of it is that state health benefit payment plan. And so it's going to be two years to pay that back. So that is just an obligation that makes your fund balance look low. So our next session and and we are 83.33% through the year. That's good. We

only we only got two months to go. May and this month and June. Uh I'm sorry, M. I I also see that the uh the ideal remaining percentage is 25% would mean we should be at 75%. So, that's a good that's a positive. >> Well, we're trying our best to get there. And another thing that we have gotten uh uh our most of our taxes in investments. We have if you'll notice the the investment went to 4.5 million. We've put it in Georgia fund 100 to be earning interest. >> Yeah, I like to manage by percentages. So, I like to see percentages. Thank you. >> Okay. All right. And then we have our fund balance sheet. We have uh total revenues through the year. We began the year with a $3.8 million deficit. We have

total revenues so far this year of 27,838,36047. I should have rounded that off. That's breath breathless. Total expenditures has been 23,249 23,249,6.94. That leaves us right now standing at fund balance of a positive fund balance of $725,000 $725,116.91. >> $725,116.91. Yes, we're in positive. So, thank you. Any questions? All right. >> Thank y'all. >> Yes, ma'am. >> The uh vendor activity report that we got also, >> has that been paid? >> Both of those. Yes, ma'am. Those have been paid as of 4:30. Yes. >> Okay. cuz there was no indication and I think in the past there has been some indication as to whether all was paid or some was paid. >> These these probably ranged from these were paid as from 41 to 4:30. >> Okay. >> So these are okay I'm sorry those

were paid from April the 1st to April the 30th. They might be I think there is a 100,000 outstanding but that's because they came due after the 30th. Okay. Okay. Thank you. You're welcome. Any other questions? Anyone have any other questions? >> Okay. At this time, I need a motion to approve the April financials. >> I'm Go ahead. I so move. >> Second. >> All right. Mr. Davis made the motion. Mr. Bell seconded the motion to approve April Financials. All any discussion? All in favor? I. >> I. >> All oppose? No. Eyes have it. 7 to zero. The next item on the agenda is the implementation of board officers policy change. Miss P. In your packet, you have our old board policy, BBA, board officers, and our new uh policy. And um this was brought

to our attention during our cognitive review um where we've had a change as far as um on the old policy we have the office of treasurer and on the new policy um we do not have that officer any longer. And so um it talks about how the superintendent should be the secretary and treasurer of the board and that the chairperson shall preside over all meetings of the board and sign official documents. And so um with this and Miss Betty I may need you to come back to the podium with this. We just need the approval to um to take that um board officer position away based on our policy. Um and like I said, Cognia, you know, questioned that whenever they came and um asked us to fix that. um because the the policy was

updated and um so that would mean that the chairperson would would actually just um need to be the signer on the um on the account. Miss Betty, is there anything else that needs to be >> No, just the superintendent and the board chair would need to be signatures on all accounts and the CFO only needs to be able to uh do transfers as required as approved by the superintendent and also to make inquiries to own the bank. Uh signature- wise, they have no no authority to u sign a check. But as far as we're transferring money because it's necessary for like for payroll and making uh those type of transfers that's a necessity that CFO has but uh the checks far as checks authorization to spend money by check is the superintendent and the board

chair only >> if I'm understanding this correctly, the treasure is being taken out of the loop. Okay. So, it'll be the chairman and the the the chairman and the superintendent. Okay. Well, it could be. It seemed like I've seen this policy before, but it just wasn't implemented if I'm not if I'm not mistaken. But anyway, okay. Thanks, >> Miss Peggy. You certainly have done an awesome job at that role and we appreciate you. >> Yes, ma'am. This was brought to our attention during the Cogna review. So um we have appreciated you so much Miss Peggy in that role. Um >> so this was one of the things that Cognia got us. >> Yes. >> And I was surprised because >> Yes. >> Right. Okay. So at this point in time we need to um remove

the treasurer uh title um from this board officer policy change. Um, may I get a motion? >> Madam Chairman, I'd like to offer a motion that we approve policy mediated board officers revising eliminating our ch of our treasur position. >> Thank you, Mr. Laneir. Make it a second. >> Thank you, Miss Peggy. It's a motion and seconded to um remove the treasurer position reflecting the new board policy. All in favor or any discussion? All in favor? I. >> All oppose. No. Eyes have it. Next, we have board member comments. We'll start. Miss Peggy. I would like to say good evening to all of you. Um, it's always good to see you come and uh participate in our meetings. Um, I would like to say that um I appreciate all of you asking about the recommendations

that the state uh gave and I do want to let you know that I did uh submit an email to our interim superintendent uh asking her to post uh the written uh recommendations on our transparency page. And I have not heard a response from her as far as that is concerned. And from talking to some of you, you have not heard a response as well. And I do apologize for that because you know a response is in order. Even if it's no, even if it's I don't have whatever that response is, you're entitled to a response. And also uh I would just like to comment on the fact that uh Mr. Walters did request that uh the voting of the school I think be rescended and put on the uh agenda and it was not

and I thought it was going to be on there and what I heard tonight was that he didn't get back in touch with her. Well, I'm not aware that once we request something to go on the agenda that we have to keep asking in order for it to go on there. And so I just would like to see us do things decent and in order and do it consistently. Um we have a lot of work to do. A lot of work to do. And it's not going to be easy. But the sooner we get on the same page, the better off our school system and our students and staff will be. We have to do what's right, even if it's something that's unpleasant. There's been a lot of things that I've worked with I didn't

like, I didn't agree with, but the majority of the board wanted it and that's what we did. And I don't know what happened to that. I don't I don't know what happened to that. There's some changes that have occurred within our board and I'm and it bothers me because we've always been able to rise above any difficulty that we have had cuz I remember one time we were we were having a hard time and this group sued us and I didn't know if we could come uh come away and uh and well unified after that but that particular situation helped unify us. the fact that somebody came against the board because we had to unify in order to be successful. So, [laughter] I [clears throat] don't know uh to be honest with you. Uh I

do pray for our school. I want to see it be successful. I really do. But I also know that each one of us sitting up here, you know, we have to be transparent. We have to do what's right. And we have to think about the other person. You think about if I was a chairperson and somebody else wanted something put on the agenda. Well, they're entitled to that because that's what the policy says. So, you know, keep encouraging us, you know, um and one other thing I want to say. Once upon a time, somebody said, "Ask me a question. Miss Johnson, do you think y'all have anybody on that board that would uh be in favor of consolidation?" And I said, "No, I don't. I don't believe that. From what I understand, anytime that situation

has come up, it's always been a flat no." Well, I say to you tonight, I'm not so sure anymore. That's the end of my comments. Thanks for coming out. Appreciate everyone for being here tonight. How sorry I was that it rained last Friday night and messed up Dublin High's graduation at Shamrock Bowl. So, I'm all for what the students want and hopefully next year that we can have it at Shamrock Bowl. We used to have it on Monday night at 8:00 at Shamrock Bowl and and maybe we I don't know, maybe we need to go to a morning graduation when it's cooler and not a big chance of thunderstorms. But anyway, I appreciate y'all. Thank y'all. Okay. Uh good evening to everyone. I'm glad you can make it today. Make it tonight. Anyway, uh you

know this thing by Fanny Lu Hman say I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. you know, that's and it it it was at one meeting we said we wasn't going to beat up on each other. And I don't want to beat up on anybody. I just want to be as transparent as I can and I want to understand that that uh there's no I in team. everything that we got to do tonight or anytime we got to do it together and everybody got to be on the same page. And I know and I've asked and I've heard the question from over here that it's going to take a time to get a IB uh school started and until we get the numbers and get everything clear about that and that's what I want

to talk about among the board and that we need to make sure that we've got all our eyes dotted and all our tees crossed when we stepping into that. Dr. Over street did a fantastic job in talking about Dublin. He said if you want to define Dublin, define it as dual enrollment. He said it give it everything that IB has and maybe even a little bit more. So his definition of doubling would be dual enrollment, not IB. But anyway, we going to talk through it. We're going to try to make sure that we're financially able to do anything going forward. And only thing I ask for this board to keep everybody aware of it. Don't let people outside this board know what's going on before we know about it. Because people think that we're not

asking these questions or we're not concerned about what's going on. We're concerned or more concerned than you guys are, but we get the heat that why you sit on the board not knowing it. I mean, it's people on this board that's well more knowledge about what's going on financially than all other board members. They can you can ask the superintendent a question and a board member will answer it because they got more knowledge of it than we got. We got this as much comprehensive sense if you give us the information to comprehend it and go back and explain to the people we who we represent. This may be better for us if we can answer the question. But when we can't answer the question and we sitting on the board, I mean it just don't

look acceptable to the group. So I just ask anyone who knows something. I've heard the past chairman say I learned I didn't know that either. And I said I didn't know it either. So that should not be the rule. That should be the exception. If something automatically come up, I understand that. But if we have time and knowledge to inform everybody, let's adopt that practice of keeping everybody informed of what's going on, but we can go out and make the argument collectively. And I'm like Peggy. I think everybody on this board care. I think they want this board because we care. We want to do it. This board don't pay nobody's salary up here. It's basically a volunteer board. We volunteer to do this cuz we love the system. We love our students. We love

our teachers. We love our administrators. We want to do what's best for them. So, we got to start up here. We got to be more transparent. We got to let people know what's going on. and we can't and I'm not trying to beat nobody up here, but we got to do a better job in communicating. Thank you. I'm going to switch gears a little bit. I'm going to celebrate our kids. Uh I don't know if any of y'all saw it, but it was posted on our Facebook page the other day. We had 144 total graduates in our class last last week. Those 144 graduates earned $2,381,980 worth of scholarship money. That does not include any hope money, any zel miller, any of that stuff. We had a 94.44% of our graduates reported post-graduation plans, whether

it be a 4-year university, whether it be a technical university, whether it be entering the workforce or joining the military. 15.18% of our student body is going into the military. And if you can't clap for that and you can't applaud that, then you don't need to be sitting in this building because that's what gives you the ability to be here. Uh we have 15.18% entering a technical college and 58.404% of our student body is going to a college or university. That's success. That's what you get when you work hard. I'm proud of these folks. There's 23 different unique post-secondary institutions that they're that they are attending. There's 118 graduates completed a career academy pathway aligned with high demand careers. There were 127 total pathways earned. Eight students completed multiple pathways. And 98.8% of our students

in our CTAE programs passed their post pathway assessment plan. And that's all I got to say. Thank you. [applause] >> Good afternoon everyone. Uh first and foremost, I would like to say um thank you all for coming out tonight, voicing your concerns. Not opinion, but your concerns. And um congratulations to our new CFO. Welcome. I really didn't catch your name. What is your name again? >> Teresa Lner. because I don't heard so many names and it's I'm trying to get them all together here. I'm welcome and Miss Betty, thank you so much for all the work that you have done. Um we're going to miss your Canton um little hit that you be throwing in every now and then, but um to all our graduates, I want to say congratulation and yes, John James, those

are magnificent numbers. And I can piggy back off of a lot of things that Miss Peggy spoke about that um Kenny spoke about, but most of all transparency. That's the only thing that I can say. Transparency is that's what we need to be giving out. >> Thank you everyone. Thanks everyone for coming out and all your comments. We appreciate y'all and your concerns. Um keep praying for us. Miss Lounder, we're very fortunate to have you. Miss Betty, we appreciate you so much. Um, and Mr. Doug, all the work you do also. I'm super proud of our our graduates this year and our kids going forward. Um, we got some great kiddos in our system. Um, and I'm I love all of them. So, it's the reason we're here. At this point in time, our next

role is executive session. May I get a motion to go into executive session? Madam Chair, I make a motion to discussion. >> Thank you, Miss Glover. May I get the second for personnel litigation real estate? Sorry, next page. Let me flip it. >> May I get a second? Second. >> Okay, I've had a motion and a second to go to executive session for personnel, real estate, and litigation. Any discussion? All in favor? I. >> All oppose? No. Eyes have it. 7 to 0 at 6:52 p.m.
