We'll do all our pictures at once. So, hang out just for a few more minutes and we'll do Battle of the Books next and then uh be in good shape. We'll do them. >> Okay. At least perfect. Great job. Yes. >> All right. Thank you everyone. Um public comments is the point of the meeting where we welcome public comment. Each speaker is given three minutes to address the board. Comments may be made on almost any matter related to the operation of school but we ask you to refrain from making comments concerning individual students or staff members. Board uses this time to listen to community questions and concerns but will not respond immediately to request for information. Additionally, the board cannot take formal action on non-aggenda items. Contact board president by email if you wish to

discuss your topic further. Please microphone and state your name and ac 64 administrator had a community meeting participated in a community meeting where there was open dialogue questions and discussion about student behavior culture and district practice. It was thoughtful. It was actually very thoughtful and it was exactly the kind of space many of the families have been asking for. And what stood out though is that families who are directly navigating these issues, especially those with students receiving special education services or impacted by behavior policies are rarely given access to that same kind of structured district level dialogue and conversation. Instead, those families are being directed to individualized channels or their IEP teams, which do not provide the same transparency or opportunity for a shared understanding. The district previously had structures like PT3 meetings that provided

space specifically for special education families to engage in broader district level dialogue, and those have since disappeared. If the district is committed to inclusion, communication, and community engagement, then the families most impacted by these policies should have equal access to these conversations and at the same level and with the same visibility. So my question, will the district commit to restoring PT3 and creating consistent district level opportunities for our families to engage in meaningful dialogue? And if not, just how does the district justify providing greater access to these conversations in external community events and spaces than it does to the families directly impacted by these decisions? Thank you. >> Anyone else? >> All right. Um, yeah, I was uh able to attend the Lincoln musical. It was the last Lincoln musical hopefully that'll ever be at

Emerson. And um I thought the kids did a great job. In particular, uh Lumiere was fantastic. Um but it was it's just, you know, I I grew up in schools really getting a lot of joy out of everything that happened outside of the classroom after school. And that was kind of where I found my own my own heart. And so it was just I had an emotional moment like right before the curtain call when you see all the entire cast is up there and these kids are singing their singing their guts out and they're just having this great time and just thinking, "Yeah, they're getting a memory right now." It's like you remember what that feels like to be that old and whatever it is, you know, that's that's going on. So it was wonderful,

but the kids did a great job. I know there's a lot of adults that spent a ton of time to get that going. So I just want to say congratulations um to all of them. Um we always kind of report out at this point with the early bird fee going away for enrollment just kind of where we're at with that. So last year we had 79% of our families that had enrolled um trying to get that discount and completing their registration. This year we're at 82. So that's good. It's going up slightly. Um definitely helps us figure out you know what our section is going to look like and things of that nature. I want to also uh say thank you to Chris Lily. Um we had our annual realtor lunch uh otherwise known as

the greatest lunch in Park Ridge or in Niles um according to the Chicago Tribune. Uh so um it was but that was actually super interesting too because it allows us to kind of figure out you know what families are talking about when they're trying to figure out um where they're going to purchase a home and uh also just what we can do to I think better message and uh what kinds of things are important to them and so on and so forth. So that was I think a good annual thing that we want to continue to do and have dialogue about good feedback um from all of them. So um we'll have a good April board meeting coming up. We're working started working on that agenda now and any of our employer requests that have

been um asked of us have been fulfilled. That's my report. Great. Thank you. All right. Um recommended personnel report. Uh Joel Yeah, it's that time. Sorry. Uh personnel report uh is our probably second or biggest one of the year. This is the annual time where we have our honorable dismissals and riffs. Uh non-renewals. These are individuals who have done nothing wrong. It has to do with the fact that we don't have Our enrollment as just said is not fully there. We're still figuring out. So we honorably dismiss and then as we have our numbers. >> I move that the board approve the personnel report dated March 19th, 2026, including resolution number 1385, honorable dismissal of teachers. Resolution number 1386, dismissal of probationary educational support personnel employees. Resolution number 1387, nonremployment of part-time educational support personnel

employees. Resolution number 1388, non-renewal of administrators contracts and honorable dismissal of teachers. Noting that the personnel report is based on the recommendation of the superintendent and not upon the board's direct knowledge regarding any of the specific individuals selected for employment. >> Second motion. Any discussion >> rank? Yes, Jacus. >> Yes, >> Kemple. >> Yes, >> Lui. >> Yes, Klein. >> Yes, Double Day. >> Yes, >> Melan. >> Yes. >> Consent agenda. >> I move that the board approve the consent agenda for March 19th, 2026 as presented. >> Andrew motion second. Questions, discussion. >> George, >> yes. >> Double Day, >> yes. >> Kemple, >> yes. >> Franken, yes. Klein, yes. Milligan, >> yes. Yes. >> Any business? All right. Motion to >> So moved. >> Second.
