This year, Mr. Ch asked my mom to come and talk to her classes. My mom was veteran and was able to share with the students all because Mr. Chan asked her to. Heat. break down our scores, you know, comparable scores in the county state that um you know would be something that compare ourselves to. Questions? Anybody have any comments or questions regarding I mean first of all during impressive I mean this is this is these are great numbers um that our kids are getting the way the signal is the kids are getting the education that we that we we are continue to improve and getting the education we want them to get. I mean particularly the resource mass are great too but the res are really impressive and we're sure as you said that other districts that are larger than ours have more you know more resources I

mean the value that we're providing for the students [clears throat] for our community is is is great I mean we are out there with everybody so I I think it's terrific and I like comparison it kind of shows where we are compared to other places as well. Not just places around here, but other places we know. This is something we should be we should be very proud of. I think I think everyone who's leaving right now probably is you know I you know concern when you said you know the third grade scores but then you see by sixth grade boom they're up. So I think that looks very favorably on what we do to get those kids up. I think there's a big positive there for what, you know, the staff and doing those kids

to get them in 3 years, you know, up to the top. Really impressed. I mean anybody seeing for us look to see if the pirate program at Westwood was equivalent with scores or was there any difference or is that a conversation for another pre The stop [clears throat] Thank you. action which part of it. Does anybody else have any other comments or questions? Well, we hope we'll pass on our congratulations to all the teachers and the people involved here today. This is great. We look forward to more great views in the years to come. Okay, that's it for report business. First is the termination of the 2025 tax. >> All righty. Um, it's my pleasure to present the levy for 2025 to you tonight. And actually, uh, it's a additional good news. I think what

I'd like to do is just go over some of the key points that we've got. Um, you've got a packet, but I'll just give you kind of an overview. This is the first time you'll see it and then you'll see it again back in December. But um Milwaukey's really comprised of a couple things. A couple of the things that are important in setting it up is our EAB, our our equalized assessed value for our community. It's estimated to increase about 9.12% from last year was 1.3 million to 1.4 million this round. The valuation is estimated of course by the McGomery County Assessor's Office and it's modified on historical estimates versus actual amounts. The actual amounts won't be finalized until spring, but we're going to build it off the estimates and they're pretty good. They don't

seem to fluctuate a whole lot. Um, but it could fluctuate a little bit. Um, new property this year totals about 2.4 million and that comes into our calculation. Um, another thing you have to remember is that we are subject to the property tax extension limitation law or the PEL formula. We're limited by either 5% or CPI as of January 1st, 2025. the lower of those CPI as of January 1st 2025 was 2.9%. So our limit is 2.9% and that is included in the calculation of our limiting rate which determines how much the district can lobby or ask for. Last year's total extension was $71,390,52. This year including the PE limit the district will level lobby less. We're asking for 70,750,501. So that's $639,551 less than what we asked for last year. This limiting the limiting

rate calculation takes into account the CPI limit of 2.9%. And our total rate then is 4.569. And that that's our grand total. That picks up the limiting rate plus the new property plus our debt service. So that that dollar that rate is a com combination of all those items. This year, the district's debt service for 2025 is 5.4 million. It's the lowest it's been in two years. The last two years, we actually evaded some of our debt service and we were being 8 million. This time, we're about 2 1.5 million less than that. Um, so the debt service isn't subject to the PAL. So, that's how we get to that 4.5 69%. So given these factors, the district's tax district's tax rate is actually estimated to go down almost 50 cents from 5.4473 last year

to 4.9474 this year. I have several schedules, but I just want to see if I've given you a lot of information really quickly there. Any questions so far? there is tax money this year. uh how that is. >> Yeah, your guidance and support as far as helping us be very conservative and bring our debt service down is reflecting directly in this uh tax calculation this time. In fact, we are asking for less than we did last year, which you don't hear about very often. So, any questions related to that or >> anybody any questions relating to you for that? No, I mean we can go through the schedules if we like but I think that pretty much summarizes. >> All right. Questions, any comments regarding the termination of the 2025 tax? So, this is a

good meeting to be district 200 because you guys seem good enough and thanks for coming down. That's that's not that's not something we I think is common, but anyway. All right. If there's no further comments or anything, um there's a suggested motion 147. >> Move to determine the 2025 tax levies, wave the reading and approve the resolution authorizing the estimated aggregate levy for the year 2025. >> Secondly, second by Dr. Bidwell. Roll call, please. >> Mr. Headley, >> yes. >> Dr. Bidwell, >> yes. >> Mr. Paresi, >> yes. >> Dr. Ferris, >> yes. >> Mr. Mi >> yes >> Mr. Gilmore. >> Yes. >> Okay. The next is your approval of the 2025 2026 strategic action plan by um questions or comments regarding the approval of the 2025 2026 action plan. Now there's a suggested

motion update 159 trails. >> Move to approve the 2025 2026 strategic plan action plans. >> Second by Dr. Bidwell. Seconded by Mr. Headley. Roll call, please. >> Dr. Goodwalk. >> Yes. >> Mr. Headley. >> Yes. >> Mr. Pusy. >> Yes. >> Mr. Mselli. >> Yes. >> Dr. Ferris. >> Yes. >> Mr. Gilmore. >> Yes. And the next item on our um agenda is the approval of the 10ear health safety survey report. Um, you know, you know, questions. Yeah, I think you covered a lot of what I was going to say. Just kind of give you a general overview. So um if you want I can go to what means or answer questions [clears throat] cover that obviously clear from the um the show we got so this is great it's almost of all the stars

has got is high I mean it's you know it's 280,000 is a little higher but 200,000 we get $2.8 $8 million in expense that we have all this stuff. We're replacing a lot of stuff that's staggering to me. But um I guess those are not high, right? for sure for sure. And it's one that's way out here, but not online, but way skewed in terms of the amount of work that needs to be done. I mean, I know that Woodar High School pool is not the same as with Norris and that kind of thing, but um in the track and stuff like that, but um >> I felt the same way to Carl was kind of surprised when I first heard that. Um I do have a question to follow up with that. Um so,

is it normal to replace an injector pump and to do some of the other work we're doing on dehumidifier, etc. for the pool? Is this the lifespan where we should be expecting for future? Yeah, I'd say those priority you're seeing for the pool, those are items that have reached their lifespan and so you have 5 years to do it. So it's not urgent and you guys do it tomorrow. Um to say they should be in 5 years I think about 15 years. >> Yeah. My comment or question would be with the traffic north when that was the first put in. There were questions about the soils out there to begin with. Does this relate to why we're having issues today? Can you speak to that at all or not? because we we had issues and

concerns about this when it was first built. >> Yeah, I say the issues you see out there are very similar issues we had high school and we just did there. Um thank you. Um and the other thing to note on the track was a socing out that far when you're not I mean it's not that big a deal you're saying but still recommendation it >> it's more the state guidelines so next year projects Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. All right. Are there any other questions or comments regarding the tenure health life safety survey report? If not, there's a suggested motion on page 224 of our materials. I move to approve the 2025 10ear health life safety report. Second motion by Dr. Seconded by Mr. Headley. Thank you both please. >> Dr. Bigwell. >> Yes. >> Mr.

Headley. >> Yes. [cough and clears throat] >> Mr. Melli. >> Yes. >> Mr. Pesy. >> Yes. >> Dr. Ferris. >> Yes. >> Mr. Gilmore. >> Yes. >> Okay. Thank Thank you both for appreciate it. Okay. Uh last report last meeting up sent you out the material regarding what's going on with the AI committee so you know what's happening there. And um that's the AI report. Any reports? Okay. Nothing further. I would entertain a motion to return. So second [clears throat] roll call, please. >> Dr. Ferris. >> Yes. >> Dr. Bwell. >> Yes. >> Mr. Py. >> Yes. >> Mr. Miselli. >> Yes. >> Mr. Hadley. >> Yes. >> Mr. Filmore. >> Yes.
