Mhm. >> Mhm. >> And then we have an add to the resolutions and an action point to correct. >> Yes. >> Okay, can hear you. Now, >> Yes. >> Did you hear that? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I'm hearing you and I'm hearing you. >> Eliminate 4.2, 5.1, 6.0, >> [clears throat] >> 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, and >> Yes. >> One more time. Give me just a second. Now. >> Yes. >> All right. Um that will bring us to um approving the amended agenda. I'll make a motion for that. Do I have a second? >> I'll second it. >> We have a second with Michelle. >> I did want to ask did did we have those updates or did we get something on that? >> On which I think >> The amended you said there

was an addition to 3.6. >> Amy, do you want to Can you read that to them? >> Yes, we have the addition of a resignation from Daniel Rickel, bus driver. >> Okay. And the other one? >> Uh the other uh employment is for two teaching staff under 5.2 employment personnel. >> Okay. Thank you. There was a motion. Is there a second yet? Amy second >> Michelle was the second. Yes, so all in favor raise hands so that we can see, please. All right. >> Uh do you need me to roll call it? >> Okay, that brings us to 3.0, consent agenda. Does anybody have any questions? >> Is Kylie on? >> Just a second, Tanner. We can't see all the board members. Um so just just give me 1 second. Um Oh. Do you want

to roll call, Amy? >> Uh is Kylie on? >> Um >> a missing Kylie and Stephanie. >> Yes, I don't see There's Stephanie's on there. But we can't see them. So, I think if >> Kylie is not Kylie is not in attendance this evening. >> Okay, so Steph I need to know how Stephanie Ganger votes. Stephanie, will you give me a roll call vote yes in favor or no opposed to adopting the amended consent agenda? >> I don't know if I don't know if Stephanie can hear us. >> Stephanie, can you unmute? There she she is. I see she's there. >> Okay, I was able to get on my computer. I can hear you now. >> Okay, we had a motion and a second to approve the amended agenda and we had all in favor.

Are you in favor? >> Uh yes. >> Okay. >> [clears throat] >> Thank you. >> Hey One last thing, if if I mute, is it making your echoes better? Like Okay. >> Yes. >> Okay. That'll bring us to the consent agenda. Does anybody have any questions? >> No. Okay. >> Motion to approve the consent agenda. >> Okay, we have a motion with Justin. >> I'll second it. >> And we have a second with Michelle. All in favor? >> Stephanie? >> I'm here. >> Yes, I don't know why it's not showing me. >> You You are a yes in favor? >> Correct. >> Okay, thank you. That that brings us to the 4.1 and Julie Ragsdale. Julie Smith. Is she Is she on the line with us? >> I am here. >> Okay, go right ahead.

>> Okay, and I do have Katie, too. So, in your books you have our spreadsheets for numbers, right? We sent those ahead. We are really excited to get to take 13 students to nationals this year for high school and we have Katie 12 12 Katie has 12 students that are going. These are really great kids that are going. We're very excited. We are also mom brag, but advisor brag, too, going to be taking the Kansas FBLA president with us. He'll be competing at business ethics. So, Gabe Smith was planning to talk to you tonight, but obviously couldn't be here. So, we what we're asking for is transportation from the school in San Antonio. So, thankfully this is a cheaper trip. I'm if you remember we went to Anaheim last year, so we were flying everybody

to California. So, Texas is a lot more manageable funds wise. And we have some funds that we're pulling from our chapter. The kids will do some fundraising. Our kids have already made their first deposit. Families make a deposit of $275 and then what we're asking for from the district is covering our advisor expenses. Tasha Smith, my assistant, will be going. Katie and Natasha from the junior high will both be going with their kids. So, we're asking for advisor expenses to be covered and then $300 per student. Any questions for me? >> You are asking to change the school vans. Is that correct? >> Correct. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Uh does anybody have any questions for her on that? You're asking to use the school vans and us to approve the funding that you're requesting

here in your spreadsheet. >> Correct. >> Okay. >> And you have the student and the advisor spreadsheets, yes? >> Yes. >> Good. Okay. >> Everybody see that? The vans are available? >> Yes, they are. I spoke with um the athletic director and he um put them on the schedule for us. >> Perfect. And we have enough for both the junior high and high school? >> Yes, I think that we do. Um our plan was to take So, we have three vans and an expedition. So, high school can get in a van and expedition, and then Katie actually Yeah, so we only need one van. >> I'll just hop I'll just hop on with Julie. Um I put on that we need two district vehicles, which is going to be our plan for now. Um we

have one extra chaperone going that's covering their own expenses because we have 12 We have three girls and nine boys. Um so uh we have an additional chaperone going to help support some boy supervision. Um but we have two additional parents outside of that that won't be attending the conference that will be go will be driving their own vehicles that if it's not possible for us to have two district vehicles, could transport their own biological children in their vehicles and possibly cut us down to one district vehicle if we needed to. If not, we're going to have to pivot. >> That was the only question I had. >> Okay. So, the junior high is taking 12, like I said. Um some happiness on that. That is the most in our middle school history, which is

very exciting. We're really jazzed to have 12. Um and we're also asking for $300 per student. We've done some great fundraising this year and we've already met with our parents to discuss the out-of-pocket expense for them. Um and we've accounted for two district vehicles with the fuel for that as well. on our spreadsheet. Oh. And we also were received an award at state this year for um the largest middle school chapter in the state of Texas. So, that was very exciting as well. >> So, could both of you tell me exactly um your total that you're asking for the district to contribute with that $300 per kid? Is that including um like I see your totals here. Is it that total Is that total expenses what you're asking right there at the bottom there of

the spreadsheet? >> Or are you looking at junior high or high school? >> Junior high school first, sorry. >> Okay. No, that's okay. So, for high school, what we're asking for is $300 per student plus the transportation. Does that make sense? >> Yes. Can you tell me what that total is? >> Oh, what is it? 300 * the 13 students? Is that what you mean? >> 13. Got you. Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah. So, um if you look on the right side of the spreadsheet, it comes to sit there student first deposits, district funds. Um it says $300 per student not approved yet. That 300 or that 3,900 is the total for students. >> Okay. And then the advisors? >> Yeah. And then the advisor, and we switch sheets. >> [clears throat] >> Um, the

advisor estimates, we are guestimating at 2751. >> For high school. >> [snorts] >> Okay. So, that's 6,600 bucks. Is that Is that right? >> 6651. >> Right? >> That's what I've got. >> Okay. Is that right, Julie? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. >> And in the middle for the middle school, we are just asking for the 300 per student, and that included our fuel costs on our spreadsheet, and then 539 per sponsor, which is a total of 4,678 dollars. >> Okay. Got it. Thank you. >> But we got the number of sponsors, so I hope we didn't miss anything. >> We have fewer nights. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Okay. Anything else, ladies? >> I don't think so. >> No, I don't think so. >> Okay. So, 6651 for the high school,

and 4678 for the middle school. Looks like the totals. >> I think so. >> Okay. Do we have any other questions for these ladies? >> No. >> Do we need to do approve of separately, or together? >> Both. >> Probably. So, I think we've got it separately, the trip. >> Yeah, yeah, separately. So. >> Well, I'll make a motion to approve first the high school traveling out of state and to fund the $300 per student and to cover the cost of uh the advisor. >> Okay, so moved and seconded. Second. >> Second. >> Jamie has a second. All in favor? All right, thank you. Do we have a motion for the junior high? >> Yeah, I'll make >> Okay, fine. >> Okay, wait. Okay, I'll make a motion to approve junior high going out of

state for the FBLA trip. Um approving the 300 per student and sorry, I didn't write down the other cost, so the 4,678 total for junior high and the approval of the funds. >> I'll second. >> Okay, we have a motion and a second. All in favor? Ready. Thank you, ladies. Appreciate it. >> Thank you so much. >> Thank you, luck. >> All right, that brings us to 5.2, the personnel. Um I think there's really nothing to add. Anybody got the personnel as presented? >> Uh motion to approve the personnel. >> Okay, there's a motion was Justin. Do we have a second? >> I'll second it. >> You're probably going to roll call. I think this laptop's having Wi-Fi problems. >> "Aye." All right. >> Okay, I'll do >> That brings us to >> Tanner. >>

Hey, Tanner. >> I'll need a roll call vote because I can only I only viewed you and Amy at the time of the vote. So, let me know Yes is your approval and no if you do not approve. So, Michelle. >> Yes. >> Jamie. >> Yes. >> Stephanie. >> Yes. >> Justin. >> Yes. >> All right, thank you. I can't hear Amy either. >> Yeah, everybody went to mute connectivity. Can you hear me? >> Yep. Sorry, my my computer's having some Wi-Fi issues. It's struggling through it right now. Um but I think we're good. >> Motion passed. >> Okay. That brings us to 8.1, food service renewal. Tasha Smith, are you with us? >> Yes. >> Okay, do you have anything you'd like to let us know or ask us about? >> Yes. Um it

is time uh to negotiate our renewal of addendum with OPA. And this year, after a little bit of research, we negotiated it down to just a 2.7 increase. And so, I am just asking for you guys to approve our addendum for school year 2026-2027 with over. >> Okay. Everybody, did you see the information in your board packet? Did That was the target. Do you have questions for Tasha? >> Your recommendation is to extend, right Tasha? >> Correct. >> Okay. Now, is that our first time? Anybody else? Go ahead, Justin. >> I'll make the motion to extend for the 2026-2027 school year. >> Okay, we have a motion from Justin. >> I'll second it. >> Stephanie's second. All in favor? >> Aye. >> Did you get that, Amy Hill? >> Yes, I did. >> Okay. >>

I also wanted to let you guys know that we had um really great news last week. Our state consultant with food service reached out to me and we will be able to offer our summer food service program free to every child in our district this summer at every site. >> Wow. Okay. >> Yes. [snorts] >> Every child So, all four buildings? >> That's correct. >> Nice. Good job. >> Well done, Tasha. Last year we could only do that out of the high school, so this is a really big win for the district to be able to go back to this. Really big. Good job, Tasha. Thank you. >> All right, Amy. Am I ready for 11.0? Was that a yes? >> Yes. >> All right, everybody. Thank you for coming. We are adjourned.
