001so we will know more about that I think we have very appreciative college and also the work we came back it was actually very very very great news they we had all the tests that they do of course on spending we're required to spend the same owner or female athletes as her boys and at our district right now you can see under all the tests that we actually spent more on girl athletes than we did boys as you can see when it comes to all the way through was except for satisfactory every point everything if you go on down that we had we did pass all three of the tests and although that's very extraneous process going through because you know because everything's an accomplice not just money of course facilities uniforms equipment gear opportunities

003get us ready for winter month one of a Walmart donation of 13 boxes of supplies materials school Christian Appalachian project resource in her community director merit soccer official donated notebooks of paper Walmart donated another seven boxes of Chamber of Commerce chips the backpack program the box Christian Church it would also today I had the pleasure of going in meeting with Lauren parks and miss golden and they'll have several items that have been donated to the community efforts as well as the teachers here at the school but just seems to be anyway I got a chance to go to Waco elementary school again there's a program called motion mines in motion which was a phenomenal program it's based on research showing that if students across the core of their body more often through the day that
004it engages their mind a little bit more this was geared mostly toward students with special needs but it doesn't have to be regulated to just them so this is something that I'm probably getting ready to start incorporating in my own school because I ordered the book this morning and it's got a lot of things that I used to do in PE classes that I can see its benefits oh oh yeah well that student was actually sick today they clipped up yesterday so I got to keep it on my tie so we remember I got to talk with them tomorrow actually I had I had a lot more than this earlier today phase 1 & 2 direct explicit instruction is still continuing the observations for that still continuing right now I get to end of a
005lot of good conversations good coaching points with my teachers talking about how their instruction has been improved throughout the school year but it can always be a little bit better so continuing that and then it's good just to have that conversation with them to sit down and really talk about what instruction is it like in the classrooms arrow base class meetings have started and seem to be progressing pretty pretty well it seems it provides an opportunity for students to speak about events in their lives that that are affecting everything that they do so and guys you even think about it but there's a lot of students in Kindergarten person secondary bed need somebody to talk to and open up to so we've learned that now we've been trying to battle absences by having an attendance
006battle within our own school however we are losing that battle right now I'm battling it right now as myself so I understand where it's coming from Winter Fest is coming up on December the 2nd at 5 o'clock so we invite everybody there last two things that I have kind of go together we've had three very successful being academies over the pack since we've met with you all however on the next one I have two more schedules for this semester I'd like to invite you guys to come out to the one that we're having on November 30th that's our first grade will probably begin by 8:30 or 9 o'clock that morning so if you guys want to come up and observe you see the great things that wasn't me in school I'm also opening up to
007some some community members that want to come in as well so don't don't you'll probably get to see what our math program looks like and the great things that are going on with the 8:30 - should be about 8:30 sorry you gotta listen to Jessica Jessica Hale spiel for the wall hey sparse and I'm always in the middle but I wanted to update you all on our Fall Festival we had that the first weekend in November and we our PTO is very successful it's their $8,000 to use for field trips and incentives for our students so it's very successful our next round of already is starting when we come back from Thanksgiving break in December so we're excited to see the growth we know it's going to be there our arts and humanities teachers have
008planned our first arts and humanities day and that's gonna be next Tuesday the day before Thanksgiving break and we have people from the community coming in and our elementary will go in the morning they will kind of round-robin rotate and then our activity teachers will be there for art we focused it all on early America to even have our theater group coming in to perform Tony Brown's coming in with woodworking we have our extension agent coming in to do with early plenty of toys so it's all hands on hands on activities that they can it'll be a good we have a big net cracker ballet that's coming in for our students that will be it exciting the last week of December we are fixing to start our school live reading program which is going to
009be a wonderful opportunity we have an author coming in that last week of December also to kick off that program so that's gonna be four k-8 so a big school lot we are having the opportunity I think box as well to attend part of the Christmas play at Bethel Baptist they're gonna take us down and our students will have that opportunity just to get to see the play which is always excited we've not actually got to do that in a couple years over excited to have that opportunity our observations are continuing as well every teacher had three observations walkthroughs and provided with feedback by the end of September we started that again in October and by the end by Christmas bright they'll have three more so I've had six opportunities by the midway point to
010get feedback for their direct explicit instruction so that's exciting so the forty book challenge is just limited to Menifee Elementary and it's not including box we're doing so they can see me down but it's exciting we just finished another round of the name sports we're getting ready to start our out really tasting the high school very very excited not to make it up we had a great Veterans Day ceremony here twenty nine bedrooms show up I thought was very good for the Bader's students talking how much that ceremonies bit though there's been a lot inning the letters and feedback from the community that was a great event one of many sports against we started a beam a state hope you've heard about it for your kids will have another one we would invite you to
011the December night it's an all-day Congress it is and the thing I think it's been very amazing about it is that we've made a strong emphasis this year that the teachers voice will be heard and the students will be here we have all the data all the survey data and all the information on that day we predict you'll a big screen when we share it with the students we have been a state that's what the students said while the time of how we planted a suitor that's why we need to do it inside of that we're starting to see a lot of good responses in that students now very open talking very the best same things we're seeing that connection with the teachers that's been a very good implementation would accept me miss sports or
